Season Review Sorry, I missed a few games mid-season, we're on a three game win streak now right? ...guys?
Holy fucken dooly, that was a long time between songs there. Not a bad start with the two wins, defeating all of Western Australia by a total of 6 points. Then 154 days, our round 2 to round 24, before we won another. Jesus.
In amongst that unending misery there was SOME improvements from the previous 2022 season:
Reducing the triple point thrashings from 2 to 0 (though Melbourne did come close with 90). We lost 5 games by less than ten points, previous year just the 1. We avoided the triple crown of wooden spoons.
No, it's not a lot to hang your hat on, but you gotta start somewhere. It's these of kinds of improvements that need to continue to go and start to transform in to wins, so I think it's good to celebrate them ever so slightly.
On a more individual level you have:
A fucken stellar season from Harry Sheezel, winning the rising star award.
Nick Larkey making the All Australian team, as a forward, playing for us. That's a fucken effort.
Lesser but still positive times from Wardlaw, Paul Curtis, Scott and Zurhaar.
And of course it was the last season in the blue and white for club stalwarts Jack Ziebell, Todd Goldstein, and Ben Cunnington. A lot of fond memories of these players and a part of me dies with them. Just jokes I'm already dead inside.
List Changes Out: Jacob Edwards, Flynn Perez, Phoenix Spicer, Lachie Young, Aiden Bonar, Jack Mahoney, Kayne Turner (all delisted), Jack Ziebell (retired), Aaron Hall (retired), Daniel Howe (retired), Ben Cunnington (retired), Ben McKay (Essendon), Todd Goldstein (pending retirement, what's an Essendon?), Tarryn Thomas (prison I hope). Think that's all, if anyone else left, your not notable enough for the 2nd worst team in the league, thus probably shouldn't be playing
In: Zane Duursma, Colby McKercher, Dylan Stephens (Sydney), Zac Fisher (Carlton), Riley Hardeman, Wil Dawson, Taylor Goad, Bigoa Nyuon (Richmond), Finnbar Maley, Toby Pink, Tyler Sellers
Players to watch Luke Davies-Uniacke
Who wouldn't want to spend an afternoon watching LDU ply his trade?
The bloke can weave in and out of a pack, scoop up the ball at full tilt, and has the sort of build that looks like he can crack walnuts with his butt cheeks.
With Cunnington now devoted full-time to becoming the best fisherman/dairy farmer the world has ever seen, North's engine room will rely a lot on LDU's ability to win the hard ball, and he's shown he's willing to play that role, or die trying.
Harry Sheezel
The man, the myth, the
legend! Not many rookies can claim to take out a rising star and a club B&F in the same year! Now, the more negative among you may point out that his club award reflects more on the quality of North's list and injury concerns than any innate talent, which is a fair point to make, but I think it's also worth considering that the Cheezel managed to have an astoundingly good season by any standards, despite lacking the physical protection, on-field support, and depth of talent to take the heat off him.
The lad pretty much saved the game for North against the Dockers, and was getting tagged by game six. He's worth a watch.
George Wardlaw
The Warlord (TM) was one of the reasons that Clarko was so excited to come to North. He's a kid without an ounce of quit in him, willing to take on his opponents at every opportunity. He's not quite big enough to get away with it just yet, but a few preseasons and some protein, and this lad will be stiff-arming the competition with the best of them. Watching him now, you can see the hunger, competitiveness and sheer intensity that he offers the team. Keep an eye on him because he'll either break packs or break himself in the effort.
Colby McKercher
Putting big raps on a debutante is usually asking for trouble, but this kid already has the smooth skills and clean disposal that make you just keep rewinding the footage to marvel at how pure he is with his ball use.
For far too long, North has relied on disposals under pressure, high F50 entries and mongrel punts to a contest. With McKercher in the squad, players can expect the footy served on a platter, with a side of crumpets and scones (the home-made kind, not the colesworth crap).
As a young lad, he'll probably have moments of fading out due to being barely old enough to shave, but his ability to find space and appear to have all the time in the world is worth appreciating.
Zane Duursma
Like McKercher, Duursma is one of those kids who just seems to know which way the footy will bounce. He's clean below his knees (a skill North has had in extremely short supply of late) while also having an innate goal sense when he's in attack. He can burn off opponents with pace around the back of a contest or he can lead up and take a screamer. If you give him your attention, he'll give you a highlight.
Brayden George
"Who?" I hear you all say? Brayden George was slated as a top ten pick in the draft class of 2022, but then did an ACL just before the draft. As a result, he was out for the whole 2023 season. Well, now he's back and looking to make up for lost time.
Brayden is the 'feel good' story of the team. A kid who almost had his dream ripped from him due to the timing of an injury, now looking to reclaim his future at the same time as North look to build one.
He'll likely spend some time in the VFL before a debut, but once he does, look for the whole team to go nuts once he kicks his first goal.
Players on notice Luke McDonald - the perennial whipping boy LMac has much to the chagrin of North fans everywhere somehow maintained his captaincy. A much maligned figured from the fans there is no doubt he gives his all - but is that all... Enough?
Aidan Corr - coming over from the Giants, North fans had high hopes for Corr. Hit and miss across the season with a few standout performances this is his time to prove himself with senior injuries leaving him to step up
Charlie Comben - perhaps unfair but Chom has been on the list for years. Had the intent up forward but not the finish - will a new move down back revitalise his career?
Curtis Taylor - a solid player for years when we lacked depth. Now with that depth arrived and new players recruited Taylor has been pushed to the VFL. Up to him to keep his spot on the team
Tristan Xerri - for years the apprentice to Todd Goldstein, Xerri had the opportunity to step up last year but was struck down by injury. There is no better opportunity to stamp his spot on the team
Callum Coleman-Jones - traded in from Richmond on a hefty salary CCJ has always had the body for the game but lacking elsewhere. Second in the ruck to Xerri he will need to prove himself as a 2nd tall alongside Larkey
Will Phillips - 3 years since being drafted, 1 in COVID, 1 with glandular fever and 3 different coaches. Fans are waiting for the #4 pick to pop off. With an influx of young mids all of whom look more promising than him Will Phillips needs to step up and prove himself to lock in a spot or become trade bait.
Expectations Lets be blunt here. We are NOT LIKELY to make finals. I personally am not rubbing us out just yet but am close to. We've won 12 wins in 4 years. So realistically we want 5-6 wins this year, any more is a bonus. But we just don't want blow outs and see our guys show some promise. It's not a lot, it's achievable, so can't wait to see how badly we are let down.

2023.03.01 11:34 dinosaur1831 "This is the worst season of my life," "the worst season of your life SO FAR." - The 2023 North Melbourne Kangaroos Season Preview
Founded: 1869
Club Motto: Victoria Amat Curam (Victory demands dedication)
Club Song: Join in the Chorus Nicknames: Kangaroos, Roos, North, Shinboners

2022 Result: 18th, 2 Wins, 20 Losses, 55.8%
2022 Season Review
After the first wooden spoon and subsequent #1 draft pick in the clubs history, the mighty Roos were ready to bounce back in 2022. In February of last year barely a house was left standing in the Arden St precinct and everyone from players, to the media to administrator coach extraordinaire Noble was bullish about North's chances in the upcoming season. This excitement lasted approximately one half of football in Round 1, before fatigue, structural breakdowns and ill discipline led to the Hawks making a comeback to hand the `22 Kangas what would turn out to be one of their comparatively honourable defeats.
Round 2 saw what some would call a hard fought win against the Eagles and others would call an embarrassing display against a WAFL team. The nadir of North Melbourne's season occurred in Round 3, with an absolute shellacking at the hands of a merciless Brisbane at the Gabba. A Ziebell master-class against the Swans stoked some pride in the hearts of the Roos faithful in Round 4, and if the season had ended there it may have even been called a success for the Shinboners.
Alas the games kept coming and the goals kept coming, none for the Roos but the margins neared a hundred. Didn't make sense to keep Noble on, heart-breaking loss to the Pies and his tenure was done.
Though the Adams administration began a thrilling win against the Tigers and a generally more positive and attacking mindset, this unfortunately didn't translate to any further wins and North finished the season the proud owners of consecutive wooden spoons.
There were some shining lights throughout this dark year - bags from Ziebell, Larkey and Zurhaar, LDU the GOAT further cementing his status, Paul Curtis, and probably the most meaningful - Cunnington's return (🥲)

Coaches
Head Coach: Alastair Clarkson
Assistant Coaches: John Blakey (Defence), Jordan Russell (Midfield), Leigh Adams (Forwards), Brett Ratten, Josh Gibson, Damian Monkhurst (Ruck)
Development Coaches: Gavin Brown, Tom Lynch, Brent Harvey, Emma Kearney
List Changes
Outs: Jed Anderson (delisted), Atu Bosenavulagi (delisted), Josh Walker (delisted), Tom Lynch (retired), Kyron Hayden (delisted), Matt McGuinness (delisted), Patrick Walker (delisted), Jason Horne-Francis (trade), Jared Polec (delisted).
Ins: Griffin Logue (trade), Darcy Tucker (trade), Harry Sheezel (draft), George Wardlaw (draft), Brayden George (draft), Cooper Harvey (draft), Blake Drury (rookie draft), Hamish Free (rookie draft), Daniel Howe (rookie draft), Kayne Turner (delisted, re-selected as rookie), Liam Shiels (pre-season supplemental signing)
Players to watch for that aren't LDU:
Paul Curtis: One of the brief lights in the darkness of 2022, Curtis-not-Taylor showed a lot of promise in their first year. Crafty around goal, even with the limited opportunity provided in 2022- could eventually become a key part of a forward line that desperately needs a small forward.
Cameron Zurhaar: While his forward ability is well known and established, it seems like a much larger stint in the mid could be on the horizon for the bull. There have been glimpses of this in the past and so far so good in the match sims and practice match played so far. Still a key part of the forward line though, so likely to split minutes between at best.
Charlie Comben: I don't want to put too much pressure on the kid, but I am so fucking excited to see him get games consistently this year. For all the talk about Larkey needing another KPF by his side, it's this guy. "Almost 2 metre" Charlie (gunna need to work on that nickname) takes a good contested mark, kicks a long goal. Who plays deep or CHF between the two should be interesting to see, my bets on Charlie playing deep.
Harry Sheezel: Harry, taken at 3, the talent is clear already. But with any first year it's a question of how it translates to the top level. Could be linking up with Paul Curtis on the regular in the forward line, but there's no rush with this kid. "She's all that" will certainly debut before Wardlaw, taken at 4, but that is entirely due to Wardlaw's injury recovery.
By StJamesInf
Player's on notice:
Jack Ziebell: May have been our captain until a couple of months ago, but at times, it felt like a large part of the reason he was getting games was because he was captain. Ziebell has been playing in various positions for some time now. His tendency to bomb the ball long and without much accuracy is a hinderance. His accuracy in front of goal is affected, and when down back, it also often leads to a quick turnover. And I don't see him pushing his way back into the midfield with the likes of Cunnington, LDU, Simpkin and co. taking those places. Still though he is probably just inside our best 22.
Kayne Turner: Delisted, but reselected as a rookie. He will need to clean up his ball movement and have an impact in games if he wants to stay in the team.

If we beat West Coast, Essendon and Port Adelaide this season with LDU racking up some Brownlow votes and Comben staying healthy, then most north fans would say we are on the rise after three terrible years.

Several seasons treading water in the deep end makes me hesitant to place any real expectations on us. But we absolutely must do better than last season. Just the one win against an AFL team last year (I'm not counting the West Coast win) was deplorable. That being said, I'm expecting us to finish in bottom 4, but I might be slightly optimistic in thinking we'll finish 15th, or netting approximately 6 wins. I think/hope Cunnington being back plus with LDUs form that we can really make the midfield work and start scoring up forward.
flibble24
Avoid a subsequent wooden spoon with the general expectation that 16th is expected and anything higher is even better. What we are looking to see is growth from players and execution to game plans.
Players to watch. LDU to cement his spot as goat midfielder. Phillips, Powell to grow further.
Rucks. CCJ or Xerri own the ruck spot it's still up for grabs.
Forwards. Make or break season for Comben. No more waiting we need him now.
Off field issues will be a big oversight with the ongoing Thomas and Clarko situations.
Fans. Need to get out to games - sick of being the joke club with no spectators

The glimpses that we’ve seen from intraclubs and practice matches have the Roos looking like a completely different side to last year, with new avenues to goal, a much stronger defence and Zurhaar and LDU wreaking havoc at the centre bounces.
The number one goal for the year is to avoid a third consecutive wooden spoon and any/many more wallopings. Anything other than that can be counted as a small win, but with a new coach, a relatively friendly draw and a lot of new personnel it’s hard to know what the ceiling of this side is. Realistically finishing anywhere above 16th is a success.

2023.02.27 02:49 dinosaur1831 r/AFL 2023 Preseason Preview
So I haven’t been paying too much attention to things as it is the offseason, but I happened to notice
afl is doing the preseason previews. I thought I’d quickly check when ours is, and ours is due on
Wednesday Thursday (Geelong agreed to swap). Since I haven’t seen the slightest hint of anyone getting around to doing this, I thought I better bring it to everyone’s attention.
Not sure how much I can help at this stage- with work and all, but it’d probably be good and all if we didn’t start with further embarrassment before the season starts…
Don't mind me putting stuff together here:
"This is the worst season of my life," "the worst season of your life SO FAR." - The 2023 North Melbourne Kangaroos Season Preview
Founded: 1869
Club Motto: Victoria Amat Curam (Victory demands dedication)
Club Song: Join in the Chorus
Nicknames: Kangaroos, Roos, North, Shinboners
AFL/VFL Premierships: 1975, 1977, 1996, 1999
Home Grounds: Marvel Stadium, Blundstone Arena
Club President: Dr Sonja Hood
Head Coach: Alistair Clarkson
Captains: Jy Simpkin, Luke McDonald
Alas the games kept coming and the goals kept coming, none for the Roos but the margins neared a hundred, didn't make sense to keep Noble on, heartbreaking loss to the Pies and his tenure was done.

2022.05.09 11:00 His_Holiness North Melbourne coach David Noble apologises to players for being too critical post match
North Melbourne coach David Noble apologised to his players after going “too hard” in a stinging verbal spray delivered after their demoralising round 3 loss to Brisbane.
The Herald Sun can reveal Noble reflected upon his conduct in the days after the 108-point loss and told them he had gone too far in condemning their efforts.
Several younger players were visibly shocked by the raw feedback from Noble, who in past weeks has softened his communication methods and provided a more positive environment.
The players have provided feedback to Noble that his criticism had become a pattern.
North Melbourne general manager of football performance Daniel McPherson confirmed Noble had agreed he had been too forceful in his post-match address after that round 3 loss.
But he told the Herald Sun Noble had taken the feedback on board and adjusted some of his methods of feedback.
The club also believes it could have better supported an angry and emotional Noble immediately after that game given his frustration at the performance.
The Roos had believed they could make rapid gains this season but lost to Hawthorn in round 1 then fell in against an understrength West Coast before the trip to the Gabba.
Playing against his old side the former Brisbane football boss said of the loss: “It was a really simple, basic game today that we let ourselves down enormously and we should be embarrassed.”
In that Gabba rooms post-match he made clear the loss was unacceptable but while players are no stranger to honest feedback he later accepted the tone of that address was unacceptable.
Some players were visibly emotional given his tone but the club on Monday denied reports at least one younger player was in tears.
McPherson said of the incident that Noble “reflected for a couple of days afterwards and then said to the boys that he had gone too hard so he did apologise”.
The Roos have tried to simplify a game plan that at some stage might be cutting-edge but had too many moving parts for a young, undermanned side to execute effectively.
Senior players Jack Ziebell, Kayne Turner, Aidan Corr, Jaidyn Stephenson and Hugh Greenwood have all failed to have a significant impact.
The club also lacks on-field leaders with Turner and Corr members of the leadership group along with Ziebell, Jy Simpkin, Ben Cunnington, Luke McDonald and Nick Larkey.
The club’s high-priced recruit Callum Coleman-Jones has also struggled, playing only three games for 25 total possessions, despite being secured from Richmond on a deal of nearly $500,000 per season.
But Noble, contracted until the end of 2023, has the backing of chief executive Ben Amarfio and new president Sonja Hood to continue the rebuild that could still take some seasons.
The Roos believed they had turned a corner when Ben Cunnington helped them win three games late in the 2021 season before being sidelined to testicular cancer that could see him miss all of 2022.
Without their best clearance player their senior players have so far failed to fire in 2022, which has exposed the Roos’ youngsters to too much responsibility.
McPherson conceded on Monday the inconsistent performances from the senior players had made it harder for the younger players to exhibit their wares.
The club’s No. 3 draft selection from 2020, Will Phillips, battled glandular fever over summer and is now being laid low with a virus that saw him miss in the VFL on the weekend.
Last year’s breakout midfielder Tom Powell, the No. 13 pick in 2020, won 23 possessions in the VFL after only four AFL games this year.
But the Roos believe they are not far from turning training form into on-field progress, having reviewed their recent games forensically.
A series of simple mistakes during games has seen the Roos miss the chance for elementary goals or seen the defensive structures break down with end-to-end goals.
Jed Anderson’s handball into the back of Jason Horne-Francis saw the Roos miss the chance at a score as the ball rebounded in an instant and turned into a Fremantle score.
The Roos take on Port Adelaide on Saturday afternoon without their best defender in Ben McKay, who will miss at least a week with a medial ligament sprain.
Larkey will return from suspension after being banned for tunnelling Carlton’s Lewis Young in round 8.

2022.03.10 12:17 anongirl55 Jill Zarin on the Juicy Scoop podcast
Heather McDonald had Jill on her show today. You can listen but can
also watch the show here.
A few things to note:
- Jill and Ramona live in the same apartment building.
- Ramona allegedly closed the elevator door on Jill's boyfriend Gary (so on brand).
- Jill says that the producers had a hand in the whole Scary Island "surprise" situation. She said that the producers deliberately made sure that the women were agitated beforehand.
- Says that she knows for a fact that no one has been cast for the new season of RHONY.
- Also says that RHONY cannot go on without Ramona and that Ramona is the heart of the show.
- Thinks that the things Ramona says on the show are not that bad because we have the context for them. (Please do not shoot the messenger on this one.)
- Says that Erika Jayne was even meaner to Sutton than Bethenny was to her.
- Loves Camille Grammer and said she is the coolest.
- Heather asked Jill her opinion on several iconic HW moments from different franchises including her opinion on the Denise/Brandi situation. Jill says that it definitely happened and that Denise should have admitted to it.
- Jill also said that Denise was the highest paid HW and the other women were jealous of her because of it.
- She also commented on how dumb it was when Ramona thought that she might be pregnant when she was basically menopausal.
- Regarding the Sonja cheater brand, Jill said that there is enough room for everybody. Something tells me that she'd be singing a different tune if someone else came out with rugs.
- Jill is coming out with her own skincare line...just what we need...more HW skincare.
- Jill was shocked that Mario cheated on Ramona. She never thought that he would because Ramona was so tough.
- Mario allegedly pushed Ramona when the cameras were not filming, and Jill says that she should have pressed charges.
BTW, you can hear Jill's dog panting in the microphone off and on throughout the podcast, lol.

Reposted from last week! I didn't take new pictures so some stuff in the pics has been sold. The only stuff available is what's listed. I have four IKEA Billy Bookcases of TPB's and HC's that I'm going through shelf by shelf.
I'll calculate Media Mail shipping based on weight. I ship only to the US.
I am pretty much PayPal only this round. There are Christmas bills to be paid, I bought a ton of stuff at Motor City Comic Con and looming there... off in the distance... is that LEGO Titanic set. And, SURPRISE, the nice people at the LEGO Store don't accept Dan Slott She-Hulk TP's as a form of payment.
We're P-T this time and there's a bunch of random stuff from various piles around my house. As usual, stuff from previous sales is discounted at the bottom. If you need more pictures of something, feel free to ask.

2021.04.19 16:28 OooohMylanta FINAL POST for ANTM alumni who are still working it: #97 Courtney C23 and #98 Molly C16
| This is it! This is the final post in our ANTM alumni who are still working it series, and it just so happens that this post lines up with my cake day, which is unplanned yet serendipitous. It was meant to be! Thank you all so much for following along and participating - this has been loads of fun! Our first reveal today is someone that a WHOLE BUNCH of you guessed and I said no, no, no a million times. Courtney from Cycle 23 is signed; however, she is missing a portfolio page on her agency's website, which made it very difficult to find her. She is there, though, doing beauty modeling, and it's no wonder with those cheekbones, my goodness. Courtney is signed with O Models in Los Angeles. BEAUTIFUL Our second reveal is one of the strongest competitors ANTM has ever seen, and perhaps the strongest runner up to ever compete. Molly, guessed by u/purpleblackgreen, has been working steadily since the show, and I know we're all really excited by that news. She seems like a really appropriate contestant to be our final reveal, and I hope she works for another 10 years to come. Molly is signed with Click Models in New York. Here's a good way to start the week! 2021.04.18 18:00 OooohMylanta ANTM alumni who are still working it: #95 Anchal C7 and #96 Stef (Virgg) C20
| Happy Sunday, everyone! It's our penultimate day of reveals, and they are GOOD ones. Our first is the beautiful Anchal from Cycle 7, guessed by u/widdersyns (god I hope I have that username right). Anchal could easily have won that ridiculous cycle if she had more confidence at the time. I know there is some debate about this, but I personally believe that Anchal is one of the most gorgeous women to ever compete on the show, and I was THRILLED to find her still signed. Anchal is signed with MMG Models in New York. COME ON WOW. Our second reveal is our final semifinalist, who u/dwtwnkitch found. Stef (Virgg on the show) most definitely would have made the house in Cycle 20 had she not quit, but I think it's extremely smart that she did decide to quit - she saw through the bullshit and did what was right for her. Stef is signed with Slay Model Management. OMG amazing. Cycle 2 April is signed with Otto Models LA Mercedes is signed with Brand Models LA Yoanna is signed with Alexa Models in Tampa Bay and Slate Models in Orlando Cycles 3 and 4 Ann is signed with 2021.04.17 15:50 OooohMylanta ANTM alumni who are still working it: #93 Monique C16 and #94 Christina C24
| Happy Saturday, everyone! I hope your weekends are off to an excellent start. We have three more days of reveals left for this project, so let's get to it! Our first reveal is the fabulous, villainous Monique from Cycle 16, guessed by u/AwkGiraffe1257. Fun fact: Monique dated Mikey after the show, and the two of them produced some seriously unwashed photos together. I posted them a while ago on the forum to hilarious results. Also, in unrelated news, I have randomly seen Monique a few times when watching runway recently, and it seems she still works Miami Fashion Week, if not others. Monique is signed with Otto Models in Los Angeles. Work it out Queen Monique. Our second reveal is Christina from Cycle 24, guessed by someone amazing who I forgot to write down, and I am just kicking myself about it. If you were the user who guessed Christina, please accept my apologies for my shitty record keeping in this case. Christina produced some hilarious photos on ANTM, mostly as a result of receiving one of the most WTF makeovers ever. Christina is signed with ModelClub in Boston. Goddamn so effortlessly beautiful. NEW YORK "Eboni K. Williams says race is "absolutely discussed" in the upcoming season of
The Real Housewives of New York City.
During an interview with SiriusXM's Bevy Smith on
Bevelations, Williams, 37, opened up about navigating conversations about race as the show's first Black star.
"Race is absolutely discussed, I think in responsible, but very authentic ways on this season," she said. "It's already happening. I can tell you that much. We're still very much in our filming process. I believe it will continue to happen because it's what you said — it's unavoidable."
"I'm not one to bite my tongue or ignore the big elephant in the room," she added. "When it's brought to me to discuss, you know, as we say in the South, I cut no cards."
"But listen, I'm also not the preachy type. I'm not here to lecture you," she continued. "I have two full-time jobs — one is not to be a professor to white women about Black America, 'cause that doesn't pay. However, what I am is a human, and somebody that thinks that God has blessed me with a particular temperament and skillset to engage in these dialogues, responsibly and authentically.”
The lawyer and TV host went on to explain why she decided to join the cast of the Bravo reality show in the first place.
"People know me as a lawyer. People know me as a journalist. People know me as a broadcaster. People don't know my heart," she said. "People don't know me as a friend. People don't know me as a lover. And I'm excited to share that."
"So I'm open hearted with these ladies, too," she continued. "I'm not going to take no bulls--- and I'm not going to play with them. But listen, when they show me they want to grow, I'm open and so excited to support them in their growth."
She also shared that she has developed a close relationship with fellow housewife Leah McSweeney, who joined the cast last season. At 38 and 37, respectively, McSweeney and Williams are the series' youngest cast members, which helped them bond from the get-go. Returning Housewives Luann de Lesseps, Ramona Singer and Sonja Morgan will round out the season 13 group.
"I call Leah Black-adjacent — she's adjacent to the culture," Williams said. "And sometimes with our adjacent friends, they mean well, but they come on a little strong ... Leah does not do too much and I so love that about her."
"Leah is exactly who she is, she's unapologetic about who she is. She acknowledges how the culture — our culture — has influenced her career and her aesthetic and her lens and she pays homage," Williams added of her new friend. "She's not trying to be a Black girl and I really, really love that about Leah."
A premiere date for season 13 of
RHONY has not yet been announced."
ORANGE COUNTY “Tamra for me, for a very long time, was the perfect Housewife,” admits Cohen. “There was just always a lot going on with her.”
He continued, “There are two buckets. The personal story bucket and she always had a lot of personal story going, and then there’s the bucket of how they’re relating to the other women, and she always had both.”
With that said, it seems the door is certainly open for the 53-year-old to make a return."
"Emily Simpson explained why she did not attend Kelly Dodd and Rick Leventhal‘s wedding on the November 4 episode of Watch What Happens Live.
Weeks after the couple said, “I do,” the
Real Housewives of Orange County cast member spoke to Andy Cohen about her absence at the event, addressed Jim Bellino‘s lawsuit against her co-star, Shannon Beador, and discussed the behavior of both Braunwyn Windham-Burke and her husband, Sean Burke.
“We are close and it just didn’t work out,” Emily said on the
WWHL: After Show after being asked why she didn’t attend Kelly’s wedding. “It was very last minute and she could only invite like 20 people because of COVID and she had a small venue so obviously her family and Rick’s family were first priority.”
In addition to being close to Kelly, Emily said she’s also close to former
RHOC cast member Alexis Bellino, whose ex-husband sued Shannon and Tamra Judge for defamation in 2018 after they suggested he was headed to jail on
Heather McDonald's podcast. However, Emily went on to say that despite her closeness to Alexis, she did not try to fix things between Jim and Shannon.
“The whole thing with Jim Bellino has nothing to do with me and I never talked about Shannon’s case with Alexis before,” she explained.
During the live broadcast of
WWHL, the
RHOC star was asked about why she was so tough on Braunwyn after she admitted to being an alcoholic.
“I don’t feel like I ganged up on her. Just because you’re going through sobriety doesn’t mean you get a hall pass to do whatever you want and say whatever you want. I still think you have to be a good human,” Emily said.
She then put Braunwyn on blast for suggesting she was busy when she seems to be anything but.
“I found it interesting when she said she didn’t have time when I know she has no job and she has two nannies and she’s home all day. I just thought the time excuse was ridiculous,” she admitted.
As for her thoughts on the way in which Sean involved himself in the drama between Braunwyn and Gina Kirschenheiter at Shannon’s event, Emily said it was wrong for him to get involved.
“He needed to walk away and take Braunwyn and go home. She obviously wasn’t doing well. She wasn’t handling the party well. She was out of sorts. So I think the best thing for him to do was to avoid causing further issues and just take his wife home,” she explained."
BEVERLY HILLS "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Erika Jayne and her husband, Tom Girardi, were on two different paths long before calling off their 21-year marriage.
“Erika and Tom had an unconventional marriage, spending a lot of time apart. Several months,” a source exclusively tells
Us Weekly. “They would travel separately. Tom gave Erika a very lavish lifestyle, and she enjoyed it.”
After joining the cast of the Bravo reality series in 2015, Erika “gained independence and confidence,” the source adds. “The exposure it has given for her singing career has given Erika a much larger fan base.”
The reality star, 49, filed for divorce from the powerhouse attorney, 81, on Tuesday, November 3. She later said in a statement to
Us, “After much consideration, I have decided to end my marriage to Tom Girardi. This is not a step taken lightly or easily. I have great love and respect for Tom and for our years and the lives we built together. It is my absolute wish to proceed through this process with respect and with the privacy that both Tom and I deserve. I request others give us that privacy as well.”
Erika met Tom in the late ‘90s while waitressing at the famed Los Angeles restaurant Chasen’s. They tied the knot in January 1999.
Since becoming a reality TV star, the “XXPEN$IVE” singer has found herself having to address her and the lawyer’s 32-year age difference a number of times on both the small screen and social media.
“It was always a bigger deal to everyone else than it was to either of us,” she wrote in her 2018 book,
Pretty Mess. “All a couple really needs is to have the same life philosophy. If you see things the same way, then age, race, religion — none of that comes into play. I have a thirst for knowledge and Tom has a wealth of it. He is a great mentor, a great teacher and somebody I really admire.”
Erika put it more bluntly on
RHOBH earlier this year, saying, “I’m tired of having to justify my 20-year marriage. Go get a 20-year marriage and then come f–king talk to me.”
The
Chicago star was previously married to Thomas Zizzo, with whom she shares son Tommy, a 26-year-old police officer in L.A.
Us Weekly has reached out to Erika and Tom’s reps for comment."
POTOMAC "When your bestie is also your hairstylist, good times and fabulous hairdos are guaranteed. Case in point: Gizelle Bryant and her hairstylist/BFF Kalxito Blount.
Blount has been styling Gizelle's mane for around 20 years. (You've probably seen him pop up on
The Real Housewives of Potomac several times.) Their relationship has had a unique dynamic from the very beginning.
"Jamal [Bryant] introduced me to Gizelle, and I styled her hair. She wasn’t that satisfied with it," Blount told BravoTV.com. The hair guru wasn't scared off. "So I called her and she was like, 'Well, I like it, but next time let’s do this.' So after that we just hit it off."
Since then, the pair have been creating magical hair moments together — with Gizelle acting as creative director. "Basically, Gizelle is the boss," he explained. "I just follow her direction. She has her own vision and she allows me to, you know, sprinkle a little bit of my creativity. But it’s basically her vision."
While Gizelle ideates the looks, Blount takes them to the next level with his own tricks. When it comes to creating stunning, long-lasting hairstyles on Gizelle like her glamorous 50th birthday 'do or her Season 4 reunion look, Kalixto says the key is proper "haircare first."
"If your hair is healthy, you can do whatever you want," he shared. "If it’s healthy, your hairstyle will definitely last because with split ends, your hairdo's not gonna last."
To ensure Gizelle's strands stay strong and shiny, there are two main products Blount uses on the Potomac beauty: Moisturizing Detangling Leave-In Conditioner and Ultimate Edge & Scalp Balm, both from his haircare line, Kalixto B Hair Wellness.
"The scalp balm hydrates Gizelle’s edges and her scalp without buildup. And the leave-in just protects her hair through any heat damage, and it has proteins in it, so it keeps her hair really, really healthy."
