https://preview.redd.it/h23qfjd03v1d1.jpg?width=1644&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=81fa3cd6decbba9ce51e4e46495640db89077683 In this (link) publication, we got acquainted with the structure of matrices, their basics. Today I offer a look at human culture as a matrix-driven phenomenon. Culture is determined by established forms of behavior. Tools and specific actions, instruments for achieving specific results. These forms of behavior can be grouped into areas of activity depending on the desired results and goals. Below I propose to consider the spheres of activity distributed among matrices according to archetypes and strong functions of sociotypes. https://preview.redd.it/ohqpufog4v1d1.png?width=1195&format=png&auto=webp&s=86655f152f3c37a99b0a00bd406c615ecbb57f7f Art and religion are divided between humanitarians, sciences between researchers, areas of philosophy between intuitive types, management between rational sensorics, and in the Will matrices there are four branches of government. Each culture, due to historical and geographical conditions, has formed its own values, traditions and forms of behavior that shape its mentality, strengths and weaknesses. As in the psyche of each individual person, in the collective unconscious of humanity, all 16 matrices are present, and my hypothesis is that cultures were not formed randomly. I believe that every culture is a manifestation of one of the matrices, if we consider humanity as a single organism. When dividing cultures, I was guided by various views on this topic, including Huntington's clash of civilizations, Lewis's model of cultural dimensions, and others. I have identified several principles for myself. Globally - sensory (feeling) is more dominant in the North West, intuition in the South East, emotion (feeling) in the South West, thinking (logic) in the North East. At the intersection, groups of types are formed, for example, Pragmatists cultures were formed in the North (the intersection of thinking and sensors) most likely due to a colder climate, which required people to pragmatically, rationally allocate resources and rely more on calculations. Here is a summary table with the distribution of cultures and activities between the matrices. Images generated with DALL-E 3 In many cases, it is possible to explain why a culture has developed such a matrix in terms of its geographical and historical conditions. For example, the limited resources of the Japanese prompted them to control their effective use, which activated the Enchantress. Conversely, the resource-rich land of the Slavs awakened the Creator's creativity in them. Historical influence can be traced in the case of mestizos - the civilization itself arose as a union of two different cultures - Amerindians and Romans, and this dualism, flexibility, adaptability became the best basis for the manifestation of the Trickster. Below I offer an approximate map of matrices through cultures. The administrative units of the states were marked by the prevailing culture, but representatives of each culture live in many regions of the planet in different proportions and are in constant movement. Created with mapchart.net There are a number of characteristics by which the main cultures of mankind can be distinguished, but language is the key among them, because language is the environment in which culture is born and exists. Exceptions are Africans, Amerindians and Mestizos of America, who, having adopted the language and religion of Europeans, retain their cultural identity. Each of these cultures has a population destiny and influence that cannot be leveled and if my hypothesis is correct that each culture is a manifestation of one of the 16 matrices and humanity thus functions at an unconscious level as a single organism - the future of humanity will depend on the global integration of all parts on a conscious level. I am waiting for your feedback and we will continue to consider the context in which the matrices appear in the next publications.

2024.05.22 01:10 FrostylerIs there an easier way to display the data in a hash table when testing?
I'm currently learning how to create hash map functions in javascript. Specifically using linked lists for each entry point of the hash table. But I'm currently doing it in node.js, and node.js just doesn't seem to allow you to see all of the data being stored. It will just tell you that there is a node at the next entry in the linked list but won't show any of the data associated with that node. It makes testing extremely frustrating, and it's causing a lot of burnout after every coding session. Is there a better and easier way to do this in javascript?
2024.05.22 00:42 AsleeplessMSWCthulhu Loves You (Bant group hug combo with Marit Lage)
So it's a little jank, but I've been working on this for a while. I'm sure it's not gonna be super powerful, but it will be fun and functional, and if nothing else, it will teach my brother and his friend to run more removal đ It's the most fun I've had theorycrafting for EDH, that's for sure! https://www.moxfield.com/decks/nonfLH1DvEaR32Vk_RVnZw In the command zone it's basic utility and thematic fun, [[The second doctor]] and [[susan foreman]], group hug card draw and a mana dork. I can just see them preparing for a ritual to summon Cthulhu together đ The gimmick is [[dark depths]] and [[solemnity]] is the main cheat. If, for some reason, solemnity can't happen, then [[thespian's stage]] to copy depths is the first cheat, and [[echoing deeps]] to copy thespians stage to copy depths is another. Along with that is a snow theme, mostly included to search, scry, and draw my way to what I need. The removal is mostly combat trick stuff to make sure nobody gets wise and starts attacking the group hugger đ [[aetherize]], [[settle the wreckage]], and yes, I'm including my [[cyclonic rift]], cause I think this deck is gonna need all the support it can get lol. Noncreature removal is sprinkled in though. Then there's the pillowfort/stax component. Hitting a couple of pillow fort pieces with [[doppelgang]] sounds delightful đ and so does using any of the creature copy spells on [[windborn muse]]. I also included [[kwain]] and [[gluntch]] cause they're pretty inexpensive and who doesn't love group hug? lol Really though, I want to know, are there any other shenanigans you can think of that you might include? I don't love counterspell style, but I'm not against adding one or two just for protection and I own some good options. This deck isn't trying to take over the world, but I want it to at least work at an average casual table. Thanks in advance! This is my favorite commander building project I've taken on yet, so I appreciate it! đ
2024.05.22 00:41 No-Direction680Conditional formatting formula to give percentile
I have built a heat map of the warehouse I manage. I have 5 different Pivot tables on another sheet. On my "heat map" I have the locations which are named with letters and numbers combined. I am embedding IF and XLOOKUP functions in order to give me certain metrics next to each location (that pull from the pivot tables on the other tab), and I have some data validation that acts as a filter for my heat map. My delimia is, I can't figure out how to use conditional formatting to highlight the top 90th percentile red, the the 80-89th percentile yellow, etc. etc.. I have done something similar in the past with only one pivot table, so I can't come up with the best way to do this for multiple metrics. I am thinking about using a MAX and MIN formula that based on what I have selected on my data validation that acts as a filter, it will display the max and min, and then the conditional formatting can determine the percentile between the values. However, I cannot figure out a way to put it into a formula (I usually struggle with conditional formatting formulas anyways). Can anyone guide me along through this conundrum with the answer or maybe a better solution? Thanks!
Hey, I've got what I would've thought was a pretty standard audio use-case, but the more I look, the more complex it seems to be. I am searching for an audio device that:
allows me to easily separate audio channels in Windows
support 3 XLR microphone inputs
Independent headphone outputs.
This should all then be routed back into windows, maintaining the separated audio channels.
A routing table
In the past, I have fought with Voicemeeter, but have consistently run into issues with the software. Primarily, the documented issue that comes up when the software runs across multiple cores, which starts heavily stuttering and dropping "packets" (Idk the audio term, I'm an engineer not a sound engineer). In the past, I worked with a GoXLR that seemed to do ok, but I really wanted more functionality available to me. Most recently, I've swapped to giving the Rodecaster Pro 2 another try, and while it's certainly close, the lack of available audio channels for windows has still been painful. For an example of a use case, I work an FGC event that streams the matches. This means I need access to multiple inputs/outputs, as well as being able to route the destinations to one another (this lets me talk to people without it getting mixed into the live feed). Additionally, a game feed, music feed, and (depending on guests), chat feed all need to be broadcast as well. I'd like the option to, in post, rebalance/mute these as needed to improve the final product before upload. I'd like as many of these as possible to be controlled via physical faders. I saw some options that looked like they'd be what I need (like the Allen & Heath Qu-16), but I'd like to keep the budget under 1k if possible, especially if I'm not sure that they do what I need.
2024.05.22 00:30 Thewayneman88Dead island 1 Unused Building Interior
So going into something different here, dead island does have a lot of unused interiors left loaded in, this is one has never been covered nor talked about, but this is a earlier version of the build interiors used in the City of Moresby, as we can see itâs missing props, walls, and most of its rooms arenât connected, even some parts unloaded, but it strangely still has proper zombie spawn boxes & a loot table that both function, I wanna make a note that this interior can not be gotten to legitimately, itâs sitting way to high up in the air so legit players can only admire it from below but thatâs if you can find it cause this is a hard interior to find, on pc you can get to it via noclip but since Iâm lazy I used the dev free cam lol anyways enjoy the showcase any questions just ask em

Email Integration Techniques with Azure SQL
Integrating emails from Outlook into an Azure SQL database requires a comprehensive approach that involves several steps, starting from the extraction of email data to its storage and management within the database. This process is not just about moving data; it's about transforming the unstructured format of emails into a structured format that can be easily queried and analyzed. The first part of this integration involves setting up an automated process that can fetch emails from Outlook, either through Microsoft Graph API or Outlook REST API. These APIs provide a way to access Outlook mailboxes programmatically, allowing developers to read emails, and extract relevant information such as the sender, recipient, subject, body, and attachments. Once the email data is fetched, the next step involves parsing and structuring this data to fit into the schema of the Azure SQL database. This may require data transformation processes to ensure that the email data conforms to the database schema, including converting email formats, extracting text from attachments, and more. Storing emails in a SQL database allows for advanced data manipulation, such as querying for specific emails, analyzing email trends, and even integrating with other data sources for comprehensive insights. Furthermore, integrating Outlook emails with Azure SQL opens up possibilities for leveraging SQL-based tools and technologies for data analysis, reporting, and visualization, providing a powerful platform for business intelligence and data-driven decision-making.

2024.05.21 23:49 anefisenufCan't escape an old diagnosis?
I have been diagnosed with PTSD (later cPTSD) for 20+ years. About 4 years ago, I did EMDR, which was life changing. I consider myself to be symptom free since then. Recently I've started with a new therapist, as I've had some stubborn depression following a difficult divorce, infertility, surgery and poverty. I understand that this is also traumatic, but I have lived with symptomatic ptsd for a very long time and this just isn't that. I went to therapy feeling like I needed space to grieve and process the loss of what feels like my dreams (motherhood and my careelife plans are way off the table), but she refers to me as a "functional part" and wants to start with childhood memories. My issue with this, is that, the memories she wants to focus on are not unintegrated for me. I am also not an unintegrated person. I'm not a "part," and the only reason she has these memories is because she asked questions like "what's the first memory where you remember feeling xyz?" So, I answered, but I've already processed all of this stuff with emdr before. I don't have a "color" for it or a "temperature...." I can tell you what I'm feeling, where it's coming from, what it feels like in my body, and what I need is someone to give me space to just fall apart a little bit, because at this time I can't do that in my day to day life. It seems like she is assuming I'm a lot less functional or integrated than I actually am just because the intake interview was full of traumatic history. But I was just answering questions (like, "what was your home like growing up"), no part of the actual complaints I've brought up are ptsd symptoms. So, then I asked if we could start with the present situation, as I believe any residual traumatic memories will process through on their own as that has been my experience with EMDR, but she insists we start with the earliest one and do one at a time. Which makes no sense to me as I don't even feel activated at all, let alone have a currently held negative belief about myself, regarding the ones we've discussed. Maybe I did then, and maybe it lingered before the last time I did emdr, but now it's like trying to guess which of thousands of traumatic memories might still have a charge. I don't know, this seems all wrong to me. I'm 42, I don't currently have a great support system as I've recently started over much of my life from scratch, I'm recently post-menopausal and so I'm hormonally all over the place. I've been through quite a lot in life (and I've done an ungodly amount of therapy- frankly, I was in therapy when my current therapist was likely still toilet training) and I'm just burnt out, depressed and need a non-judgmental space to cry and move through some of my recent losses so that i can feel a bit more motivated and hopeful again. But it feels like as soon as I talk about my past, I'm being filed as having a certain diagnosis or coping mechanisms that I don't even think I've displayed. Does this mean I can't have depression or difficult grief after a major loss without being pigeonholed as having some kind of childhood trauma emotional regulation issue?
I recently took apart my [[Tuvasa]] deck and made [[Sythis]] but definitely overbuilt it. What can I change out in this deck so that it still functions and wins but doesn't get eye rolls and groans from the table? https://manabox.app/decks/oNnziFFTSIeTkN5CSCn9AQ
2024.05.21 23:38 geoffsnGave a talk on Sunday. Happy to hear thoughts on it.
Good morning sisters and brothers, fellow Saints of our aspirational Zion. I was asked to speak and allowed to decide what the topic would be. After a lot of consideration I felt inspired to speak about being Actively Engaged in a Good Cause and how that relates to the full name of the church. I was glad when President Nelson decided to put more emphasis on the full name of the church. Not that I mind using the term Mormon, but because I do find the full name of the church to be significant. When the church was organized in 1830 it was called the Church of Christ. In 1834 the members voted to change the name of the church to the Church of the Latter-day Saints. Then in 1838 Joseph had a revelation for the name to be The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. While this effectively combined the two previous names, it also highlights something that I think most people overlook. Namely that the church is not only Jesusâs church, but that the church also belongs to us, the Latter-day Saints. We too have ownership of the church. While this may sound strange at first, it actually also fits very well with another concept that Joseph Smith taught: Theodemocracy. Joseph spoke of this most actively the year before his death when running for President of the United States and when the Council of Fifty was created. The idea also holds in it that while God is in charge, we also have ownership and must have a say, actively vote, propose new ideas, and generally be actively engaged in moving things forward. It is not a theocracy with a fake voting system attached like that of North Korea. However, we have largely seen our own tradition move from one in which we do things by common consent including adding to our canon or as in 1834 voting to change the name of the church, towards something much more akin to voting in North Korea. This has coincided with other shifts in which we have taken less and less ownership of our church and as a result failed to properly sustain and support our leaders. It is unfair to our leaders for us to sit back and wait for them to do frankly most of the heavy lifting when it comes to the running and functioning of our church, stake, and ward. In the past when Iâve been in callings that required me to be overseeing the assignments of home teaching or really any other church assignments, my experience has been that occasionally some inspiration will strike for some of the assignments, but that for the majority, I felt like I was left to figure out myself what assignments seemed to make the most sense. I know that many leaders that I have spoken to on this topic have also had such experiences. When we as members speak with our leaders, share information with them, it makes it much easier to make the best decisions. Without that feedback much more is left to guesswork. We need to support and sustain our leaders, but this becomes difficult or challenging if we bring some assumptions to the table when considering how we do this. A major one as I see it is when we put too much trust in the arm of the flesh and grant our leaders infallibility or the lesser but largely equivalent functional infallibility. As the saying goes: âCatholics say that the Pope is infallible, but none of them believe it. Mormons say that the Prophet is fallible, but none of them believe it.â Brigham Young recognized the potential for harm in this setting and said: "I am fearful [the Saints will] settle down in a state of blind self-security, trusting their eternal destiny in the hands of their leaders with a reckless confidence that in itself would thwart the purposes of God in their salvation, and weaken the influence they could give to their leaders, did they know for themselves, by the revelations of Jesus, that they are led in the right way.â â Brigham Young 1862 General Conference (quoted in General Conference of the church in 1963 and in 1989) And this one is also important: "And none are required to tamely and blindly submit to a man because he has a portion of the priesthood. We have heard men who hold the priesthood remark, that they would do anything they were told to do by those who presided over them, if they knew it was wrong; but such obedience as this is worse than folly to us; it is slavery in the extreme; and the man who would thus willingly degrade himself should not claim a rank among intelligent beings, until he turns from his folly. A man of God⌠would despise the idea. Others, in the extreme exercise of their almighty authority have taught that such obedience was necessary, and that no matter what the saints were told to do by their presidents, they should do it without asking any questions. When Elders of Israel will so far indulge in these extreme notions of obedience as to teach them to the people, it is generally because they have it in their minds to do wrong themselves.â â Millennial Star, vol.14 #38, pp. 593-95 Yet does this functionally happen in the church? Do we follow this council to find out for ourselves instead of simply assuming everything from our leaders is divine? Apostle Charles W. Penrose, who would later serve as counselor to President Smith, declared: "President Wilford Woodruff is a man of wisdom and experience, and we respect him, but we do not believe his personal views or utterances are revelations from God; and when âThus saith the Lordâ, comes from him, the saints investigate it: they do not shut their eyes and take it down like a pill.â â Millennial Star 54:191 Do we do this? When the prophet says âThus saith the Lordâ do we take the time to investigate it? Do we remember President Kimballâs reaction to Elder Bensonâs talk on the â14 fundamentals of following the prophetâ? "Spencer felt concern about the talk, wanting to protect the Church against being misunderstood as espousing ultraconservative politics or an unthinking âfollow the leaderâ mentality. The First Presidency again called Elder Benson in to discuss what he had said and asked him to make explanation to the full Quorum of the Twelve and other General Authorities⌠A First Presidency spokesman Don LeFevre reiterated to the press the day after the speech that it is âsimply not trueâ that the Church Presidentâs âword is law on all issuesâincluding politics.â â Lengthen Your Stride â Working Draft, by Edward Kimball Iâve had the opportunity to know some great Mormons who do take this approach, but Iâve also known many who treat quotes from church leaders like downloaded messages from God (no human filters involved). If we can believe that God is capable of inspiring our leaders, surely we can believe God is capable of letting us know when theyâre wrong. If instead we assume that their judgment is always superior to our own, perhaps weâre helping to put up a massive iron gate. "How often has the Holy Spirit tried to tell us something we needed to know but couldnât get past the massive iron gate of what we thought we already knew?" â Dieter Uchtdorf 2012 Worldwide Leadership Training Moses once opined âWould that all the Lord's people were prophets, that the Lord would put his Spirit on them!â We have all been confirmed members of the church and in that confirmation told to receive the Holy Ghost. It is easy to forget that when the spirit tells us something, that is a member of the Godhead speaking to us. If we can believe that God can give guidance to our leaders surely we can also believe God can give us guidance. Another important and often overlooked point is the context to this oft quoted verse: "We have learned by sad experience that it is the nature and disposition of almost all men, as soon as they get a little authority, as they suppose, they will immediately begin to exercise unrighteous dominion." -D&C 121:39 This statement wasnât given in a vacuum. It is in the middle of a long discussion of priesthood and priesthood authority. This is talking specifically about priesthood leaders. When we read that âmany are called but few are chosen,â weâre reading that many priesthood leaders abuse their power and only few truly honor it. The saints in Josephâs day understood this. I think weâve sanitized it over the years to make it seem like an aside, an intermission on the discussion of priesthood. This statement is as true now as ever. This verse, with its proper context, needs to be a lesson for us as members. We need to sustain and support our leaders. This doesnât mean following them blindly. This doesnât mean we must become âyes-menâ to them. This does mean pray for them to be chosen instead of just called. This does mean to influence our leaders to do Godâs will. Remember, one of Brighamâs concerns about us acting as if all our leaders decisions were divine is that it will âweaken the influence [we] could give to [our] leaders.â What questions our church leaders will take to the Lord are impacted by our own openness to those things. In 1977 President Kimball expressed concern that if the Race-ban on priesthood was removed that there would be pushback from members in the American South and from some in the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles. When President Hinckley was asked in an interview about the Gender-ban on priesthood his response was that âthereâs no agitation for it.â Until we better engage in our own history and understand how we got to where we are now it will be very difficult if not impossible for us as members to be prepared for the removal of the current gender-ban on priesthood. Sometimes we might justify our own spiritual laziness by saying that while our leaders are fallible that God will never let them lead us astray, granting them a sort of functional infallibility. Nevermind that this was first said when my 3rd-great-grandpa President Woodruff was trying to convince members not to leave over the Manifesto. Nevermind that it means that weâre denying our leaders their agency by assuming that God removes their ability to make mistakes in their callings. Maybe some make such a statement more nuanced. Maybe they think that our leaders can make mistakes, but they wonât be majosignificant mistakes. Well, what is and isnât significant depends a lot on who you are and how youâre being affected by it. Iâm thinking that the women and children who were slaughtered in prophet-sanctioned genocide in the Bible considered that a significant mistake. Iâm thinking that the thousands denied temple blessings their entire lives because of the color of their skin might consider that significant. Letâs just recognize that few are chosen and that we need to give our leaders constructive/interactive support. We place a lot of responsibility on our leaders and they are very likely to make mistakes. Because they are human and doing their best, but as humans we all err from time to time. Recognizing the mistakes of our leaders is essential to giving them true support; it is vital to sustaining them. I would hope that we would avoid enabling or cheerleading bad decisions that friends or family are about to make. Pointing out why a decision will be or was problematic is what we expect of people who we truly love and support us, because it helps us to avoid pain and pitfalls and enables us to be our best. Hereâs a story from our little section of Salt Lake City in which members recognized the potential for mistakes and took ownership of our church. On August 23rd, 1896 Stake President Angus M. Cannon proposed a man to be the bishop of a new ward which was to be divided from the Sugar House Ward. The congregation voted against the proposed new bishop. President Angus M. Cannon then purportedly shouted "Sit down! and shut your mouths, you have no right to speak!" When Cannon engaged in a shouting match with the dissenting congregation, a ward member and policeman threatened to arrest the stake president for disturbing the peace. President Cannon more calmly repeated his attempt but was voted down "again several times." The Secretary of the First Council of the Seventy was in attendance and wrote in his journal: "I have been taught that the appointing power comes from the priesthood and the sustaining power from the people and that they have the right of sustaining or not sustaining appointees. When it comes to being actively engaged in church endeavors our neighborhood and the general Sugar House area has done a lot. The "stake missionary program" began in the Granite Stake under President Frank Taylor in the early 1900s. It was an idea presented to President Taylor who then prayerfully considered trying it out as a stake. It proved successful and was later picked up by the General Authorities who made it a church-wide program. The seminary program was also started in our stake after Joseph Merrill (a newly called member of the Granite Stake Presidency) felt inspired to start it and worked out agreements with the school board and got it going at the very new (at the time) Granite High School. Also, in 1909 the Granite Stake started a monthly family home evening program. After counseling with many sisters and brothers in the stake, the Stake Presidency asked each family to spend Tuesday evening home together. All of these were local things which were eventually picked up and run at the church-wide level. We have a history in our area of being anxiously engaged and pioneering with new ideas. While those are all instances of members, wards, and stakes starting programs for good causes in our area of Salt Lake City, they are just a few examples of Saints starting inspired efforts which were eventually accepted and promoted by the top church leaders. The relief society started when women in Nauvoo came together to do some good. The Primary program, Sunday school, Mutual Improvement Association, welfare/farming, organized genealogy efforts, and Young Adult programs all also started as members and local leaders were anxiously engaged and thereby gave influence to the top church leaders. So as we consider how we can more actively engage in the church and look at what we can do now that would help to further the kingdom of God, Iâd like to share a few things that have been on my mind which I feel would be steps which we can do now and which doesnât require any new doctrines, revelations, or organizational adjustments from our leadership.
Give leaders their agency and remove the false idol of functional infallibility
Iâve already said a lot about this. The only thing Iâll add is to encourage everyone to read and learn about our history. The church history department has been putting out a lot of new, well-researched material, and there is a very high chance that it will be different than how you learned about things over the last several decades. Interestingly, most historically thorny topics become vastly easier to deal with when we stop denying leaders agency and ability to get things wrong.
Stop turning into a time capsule of the 1950s
This is really a small thing, but sometimes small things can have an outsized impact. Assuming someone comes into church for the first time, they will likely be a little weirded out because in dress and culture they walked into a time capsule of the 1950s. The Amish did this with mid-1800s, some Mennonites have as well. FLDS have with when they split in the 1930s/40s. These groups that have followed this pattern of freezing time and culture because they have been integrated into their religious practice are generally ones that are not really growing and have little-to-no impact or relevance in society. If we want to do the most good and build the most bridges, it is easier to do if we donât continue falling into this pattern. Any efforts on our part to make our meetings look like a place that people in the public could come into and not feel out of place are steps in this direction. Dresses, suits and ties arenât part of Christâs gospel. Missionary clothing is changing for similar reasons. New guidelines for missionaries include allowing sisters to wear pants and Elders to go without jackets, so surely we can extend the same to our church attendance.
Always speak at church as though the audience is the general public
I have many times felt like I didnât fit in or belong at church, and many times this has been because people speaking at church have done so with the assumption that everyone in the building must share their views on a given topic. Simply imagining that a gay couple, an ex-mormon, an investigator, some in the midst of a faith crisis, and others who live in our neighborhood are in the audience will help us to make sure that as we teach our lessons, give our talks, etc. that we will do so in the most open and welcoming way possible, which frankly is how i believe Jesus would have spoken. I truly believe that if we try to do this it will drastically improve our lessons and dialogue and help to make church a place that more people want to be. It is a change that (to borrow imagery from Jesusâs parable of the sower) will be akin to tilling and prepping the soil to improve the likelihood of allowing seeds to take root. There are near infinite ways that we can innovate and get engaged in good causes. Awake and arise, join in the cause of Zion. The aspiration of Zion is to be of one heart and one mind and have no poor among us. I think it is worth noting that being of one mind doesnât mean agreeing on everything. It means that we are united in love; love for God and for all persons. When this is our top priority, when we worry about how our actions impact others and whether our words and actions are conveying love, we become united. Iâve been a long-time fan of Eugene Englandâs essay âThe church is as true as the gospel.â In it he makes the case that the church is true because it is a vehicle in which we are able to actually try to put the gospel into practice. In doing so we encounter difficulties as we interact with other fallible mortals and try to navigate our interactions in a Christ-like way. We all try and this mix of imperfect people who unite in love and service can help to bring each other and others to Christ. It is my prayer that we can find ways to engage with love, and humble ourselves like little children, to change our ways as needed to come closer to Christ. I leave this with you in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

âOn a table an old recorder is sitting, a man dressed mostly in brown and black, looking like a black and white noir film detective, a small black stubble. Pacing around an olden bunker, memory of how he got there is hazy, knowing it was a setup by the red leaf militiaâŚ. Fisher was involved or it was his group.â OkayâŚ. Olmstead you know that Fisher was involved, there's a six-digit number code to open the door, the window has been reinforced with steel sheets and iron bars, there's probably a generator powering the lights, some type of mutant bear is outside and just killed somethingâŚâŚ. Just thinkâŚ. There is cardboard playing cards, a small wire, string, and a box of matches. The Basewood traders outpost murders, two traders, a farmer, and a scraper were all killed. All were bludgeoned from the behind, knocking them out, then the killer went stab crazy all over their bodies, the victims dying from stabbing and blood loss. The killer's reason was to⌠what was the reason? Due to something they started killing, at some point in the investigation I got trapped in their residence, had to use cardboard playing cards to unscrew a panel on a window. Then I uhhhhhâŚ. Memories arenât workingâŚ. And the iron metal sheets are melded onto the window, so no screws. 2024.05.21 22:55 The-Side-NoteI asked chat gpt to create me code for a app where you can find boxing opponents sadly i know nothing aha im wondering if anyone can tell me if this actually works
Frontend: HTML, CSS, JavaScript ⢠Backend: Node.js with Express ⢠Database: SQLite for simplicity Step-by-Step Plan
1. Initialize the Project: ⢠Set up a Node.js project. ⢠Install necessary dependencies (Express, SQLite). 2. Create the Database Schema: ⢠Design a table to store user information and boxing weight records. 3. Build the Backend: ⢠Create routes for adding, retrieving, and searching user records. ⢠Connect to the SQLite database. 4. Build the Frontend: ⢠Create a simple form for users to input their boxing records. ⢠Display the list of records. ⢠Implement a search feature to find potential opponents.
TLDR: I havenât played in like 3 months. Itâs not because of work, but the husband wonât go with me. I canât go by myself. He wonât play. Every experience Iâve had screams I cannot go alone. The first shop I ever went to I got hired by, when the owner realized I wasnât gonna sleep with him I got fired. Had a boyfriend. Was very clear. The next store a dude flipped a f**kin table and accused me of cheating because there was âno wayâ Iâd get lucky enough to draw the same card that won me the game twice in a standard game where you can run 4 of each of the friggin cards. I lost every other game that night. Same shop had a drunken brawl happen in the middle of Friday night magic. Decided place was not for me. The next store a guy literally yelled at me in a casual game of commander where we were teaching a new guy to play. Heâd brought his âultra CEDH deck that makes everyone cryâ and because me and the other dude were helping the new guy he won. This angered Mr ultra high power CEDH. Why I was the only one who was yelled at in the scenario I have no f**kin clue, the new guy was just as confused, the other guy tried to tell him it wasnât my fault, but it honestly made me cry so I just left and never returned. Why? Because he is a regular there and the other regulars agreed I was just being a baby. Since thatâs the player pool I want nothing to do with it. Didnât want to be part of that psychotic echo chamber. Next shop was just to far away. I can live with no one respecting my opinion unless my husband repeats it when it comes to magic, but I canât drive 4 hours round trip to go play. Next shop a dude seriously misunderstood our friendship and I had zero idea until we were on a trip outta town to go to a magic shop for some singles we needed. He suggested a restaurant and I said sure till we got there. Highly romantic couples place and I had to drag him back out and ask what the actual FK, I HAVE A BOYFRIEND, YOU KNOW HIM, WE HANG OUT TOGETHER, WHAT THE FK?! An his response was well youâre always at my house. CAUSE WE PLAY MAGIC TOGETHER! WERE FRIENDS! Just because a chick hangs out with you doesnât automatically mean yâall are dating or that she wants to sleep with you! When I say I have no idea I mean NO IDEA. Iâm autistic. High functioning, but I am not good with social queues at all. I missed ALL A THAT HOT MESS and wound up on the most awkward car ride home of my life. The last shop that caused me to lose ALL HOPE in the male gender I got to be friends with the shop owner who I thought was entirely safe to interact with cause the manâs married. He got me into PokĂŠmon and I was happy to just have an actual friend. I took every dmn precaution I could. No hanging out alone, no hanging out at his house, made sure my relationship with the now husband at this point was 100% evident and mentioned previous mishaps. Everything was fine for a while. I noticed his wife getting kind of testy(?) with me, so I stopped coming around the shop as much after she âaccidentallyâ dropped her actual live dog on my board state during a commander game. Cut back on contact. I assumed I was doing something that made her upset. I had to be. Like half a year passes then this man starts sending me random roleplay texts while weâre planning to meet up to play PokĂŠmon and I was like ??? The fk is this ??? He said he was sorry and he just liked to do the asterisk roleplay with people and I told him yeah Iâm not into that. Then one day weâre having a conversation about the next pre release of mtg and he throws a *spanks you for your naughty talk in because I disagreed that a card would be played a lot in standard and I just blocked him until the husband got home. Didnât go back for months and randomly got a text from an unknown number and all it said was 2 texts. âHey itâs Arsefaceâ and âI really miss you.â I responded to fkin neither of them because I. AM. MARRIED. That owner is gone now and itâs run by another dude who isnât fond of me cause he was friends with the previous owner. Apparently a rumor circulated that I was trying to get with a married man even though I NEVER HUNG OUT WITH HIM ALONE. NEVER. Not one god forsaken fkin time. I literally cannot go alone, in the 8 or so yrs Iâve been into this game itâs NEVER gone well and my husband doesnât want to go now because heâs tired of dealing with the âoh I would have beat you if I drew this cardâ people. He wonât play with me because he âdoesnât like beating his wifeâ even though he hasnât beaten my new test deck onceâŚ.i honestly feel like heâs secretly spiteful that my first attempt at a CEDH deck that he said wasnât going to work it just crushing his decks. Magic is the one place I feel like being a girl is actually genuinely looked down upon or like an object. I never see many girls play. The few I do see work in the stores, but donât play, are much older and canât play often or too young to be friends with and are eventually driven off by dudes literally hitting on an actual child. I had to step in at a previous shop when a 30 something was asking a 17 yr old about her favorite sex positions. Was she into it? No idea, but I knew it was beyond inappropriate. The only other consistent girl I see I do not believe is there for magic. Is she playing? Yeah, but all sheâs doing the whole time is trying to get people to go to her onlyfans or come to the strip club she works at and she flat out told me she doesnât like my âhousewife asceticâ whatever the hell that meant. I feel hated and/or used. I have no fkin clue what Iâve done to people who do hate me. I have no idea why no one will respect my fkin marriage. My literal Xbox bio was just âI AM MARRIEDâ until I ran out of characters. Do I need to staple that sht to my god dmn forehead??? I love magic, but this community is just full of awful people.
2024.05.21 22:41 ShadowofUnagiCan't find simple mistake in speller.
Hey, I keep getting two errors.
:( handles most basic words properly
Most of the output is correct aside from: Words misspelled outputting 1 as opposed to 0.
:( spell-checking is case-insensitive
Where the output should be 0 but I'm getting 7 misspelled. I believe my function accounts for case insensitivity so not sure what's wrong. Here are the hash and check functions.
bool check(const char *word) { // checks case insensitive int index = hash(word); node *temp = table[index]; while(temp != NULL) { if (strcasecmp(temp->word, word) == 0) { return true; } else { temp = temp->next; } } return false; } unsigned int hash(const char *word) { // sorts hash based on word length, capital letters int hasher = 0; for (int i = 0, int len = strlen(word); i < len; i++) { hasher += (toupper((word[i]) - 'A')) + (i * 3); } return (hasher % N); }
2024.05.21 22:38 MerkyNessWill Meds Help Me to Access Previously Gained but Now Inaccessible/Forgotten Knowledge
Newly dxâd but not yet on meds. There is a ton of practical and theoretical knowledge that Iâve amassed over the years. I classify them as âthe things I used to knowâ. Making musical instruments, making shoes, drafting from scratch and tailoring a complicated garment, deep dive independent research on primary source historical event with 25 books read multiple times and sitting on my shelf. Now I could barely string together 3 sentences to explain the topic. I recently wrote a serious essay again using around 25 sources (too much I know but it was a Cracker Jack essay) and recently the topic came up in conversation and I just thought hm, I think that topic seems familiar. I was a cabinetmaker but I wouldnât dare touch a table saw bc I know Iâd cut a finger off. I rode a motorcycle for years but right now I couldnât tell you which is the clutch and which is the brake or shifter. Iâll do really complicated (correct!) notes on making complicated drapes and the next day it looks like gibberish but I know I can take them to the store and buy the right hardware, and material quantities and trust those notes. Itâs like a message from another person. Good lord tell me stims might allow that connection between executive function and the other part of my brain so I might have access to my knowledge. Is there any hope? Or is it all just gone gone gone? Iâm just not finding anything on this issue. Fingers crossed someone can share their experience with this. I canât be the only one. Thanks in advance :)
2024.05.21 22:30 Mdog31415Should I attend my college reunion?
Here's the scoop. My college experience was, well, meh. Small liberal arts school. Not terrible, not amazing. Part of the problem was I did not have a consistent group of good friends. Part of the problem was I had my own awkward/ambition/ego personality problems. Part of the problem was I attended the college to play varsity tennis, but I was cut my freshman year, thus throwing the next 3 years in a tailspin. And part of the problem was I did the pre-med track that decimated a lot of social time. My wife and I attended the 5 year reunion (she went to a different college). It was nice, but we felt we kept getting ignored even when we tried to go around and meet up with people. The people I hung out with the most in college went awol afterwards and never wanted to meet up again- they didn't attend. A lot of people were still in their social groups, and we did not really identify with a single one. We spent two organized dinners eating by ourselves- for some reason people kept coming over asking to borrow chairs rather than asking if we could join them or if they could join us at our table, and that seemed to upset her. The dorm we stayed in was a lot of people partying and reliving the college days, which is ok to me but she did not enjoy the late night racket. We tried to ask a few of my colleagues who were there if they wanted to meet up and do something, but that didn't really happen. And we weren't really invited to any functions that others were hosting. I get the vibe it might be time to move on and skip the 10 year reunion, especially since it is a long drive. The 5 year one was a bit more emotionally taxing than it was joyful. Then again, we hear about not burning bridges in life- is this a case where we do not want to burn bridges? And also, I feel flustered about this since I am not attending my high school reunion (too many bad memories). But that's the situation. Should we attend the 10 year reunion?
2024.05.21 22:01 Eterna_ArtAdding a cell/box over the inserted image.
So here is what i want to be able to do. If it is possible at all. I have a table with measurements on the left. I want to be able to mark the image on the right with the measurements from the table as shown in the picture under it. Right now if i try it using the text box i cant put in = sign as i can do it in normal cells. Preferably i would want to place a text box over the image that has same functions as cells, but can freely move around. https://preview.redd.it/hciszqgh5u1d1.jpg?width=3684&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e321b755b32702840b283df194c1ed4d578d304e
