U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Division officers on Wednesday arrested two men suspected of plotting to assassinate President Donald J. Trump at the CPAC conference in National Harbor, Maryland, sources at CID’s headquarters told Real Raw News.
He said White Hats shadowing President Trump on the campaign trail learned of the diabolical scheme Tuesday morning when CID officers spotted a pair of suspicious characters lingering outside the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center and drawing a map of the venue and side streets on a sheet of graph paper. The observant CID men witnessed a suspect sketching an outline of a multi-level parking garage adjacent to and overlooking the convention center’s main entrance, through which attendees and speakers, including President Trump, would enter the building later in the week. The suspects also drew a dashed line that the CID investigators took as the flight path/line of sight a bullet would take from the upper level of the garage to the doors leading into the convention center.
The suspects appeared to be foreigners who spoke limited English with thick Eastern European accents, characterized by heavy use of guttural and palatal consonants. Although the duo discussed dining arrangements and not devious details of assassinating the president, the existence of the map and its shady artists raised the alarm, and the CID officers, having notified their commanding officer and Gen. Smith’s office, requested permission to surveil the suspects.
“We sent four guys to back them up, just in case,” our source said. “It was damn suspicious, but the parking garage seemed an unlikely vantage point. The conference is several days long, and that garage would be packed with cars and people coming to and leaving the convention center. It would be a great place to take a shot—for someone wanting to get caught. Not to mention it had security cameras. I can tell you President Trump was cautioned against appearing in Deep State territory—and we hadn’t had any credible threats until that point—he wanted to send the Deep State a message—he didn’t fear them. Anyway, we quietly watched the two.”
CID learned quickly that the suspects had leased a nondescript van and rented a room at the MGM National Harbor Hotel & Casino a mile north of the convention center. White Hats at U.S. Army Cyber Command accessed the hotel’s registry and discovered that the men had booked separate rooms using the undeniable aliases of William Henry James and Stephen Butler.
On Tuesday evening, CID considered apprehending and grilling “James” and “Butler,” but superiors at CID headquarters advised the officers on location to continue observing the suspects in case they belonged to a larger terrorist cell. The CPAC conference would kick off in two days, with President Trump to speak Saturday night.
Early Wednesday morning, while the sky was still black as pitch and “James” and “Butler” slept soundly in their rooms, the CID team located the suspects’ van, parked on a crossroad, and discovered that someone had cut out a circular hole—large enough to accommodate a scoped rifle—in a rear door pane of glass, which had been carefully reseated using transparent tape.
Our source said the team bypassed the vehicle alarm. The interior held electronic surveillance gear and a steel case secured with a padlock, which CID picked. Upon opening the case, their fears became realized; it held a suppressor-equipped M2010 Enhanced Sniper Rifle, a U.S. Army weapon that supplemented the venerable M24 Sniper Weapons System in 2010 and saw combat in Afghanistan a year later. The case also had two pistols with silencers, the drawn map, ammunition, and notes on President Trump’s publicized travel itinerary.
“That cemented everything. These guys planned to drive to the top level of the garage and snipe President Trump, somehow, try to, even though he’d be heavily shielded by security. The agents on scene informed HQ, which consulted with Gen. Smith, and they said to stake out the van and grab the suspects ASAP,” our source said.
The CID hadn’t waited too long. At 7:00 a.m. Wednesday, “James” and “Butler” exited the hotel and began sauntering toward the van, unaware of the CID investigators walking behind them and at the truck, ready to pounce. CID sprang into action when the suspects touched the door handles, tackling them to the ground and holding them at gunpoint while frisking them for firearms or paperwork that might betray their real identities.
CID seized the van and took “James” and “Butler” to an undisclosed location for interrogation, our source said, adding that President Donald J. Trump was immediately made aware of the situation and again encouraged to postpone his speech—should additional assailants lurk elsewhere nearby. But Trump would have none of it. He agreed to added protection but refused to shirk his responsibilities to MAGA and the United States of America. He said his oration would continue as scheduled, and he will speak tonight, delivering what MAGA says will be a passionate Magnum Opus.
According to our source, White Hats identified one suspect as a member of Ukraine’s Intelligence Directorate who entered the U.S. with forged credentials 10 days ago. How or where they obtained the rifle is unclear.
“We know one thing for sure, President Trump plans to stop funding Ukraine’s aggression. That alone might be reason enough for them to take a pop shot at him. We’re doing whatever’s needed to get a full confession,” our source said.

2024.05.21 23:42 Chad_Thunderk0ck Is my mod list ok? Where to ask for load order help?

Hey all - I just started a big NV playthrough with a bunch of mods, no issues save for 1 so far as I followed VNV+ to a t, then installed mods that only had compatibility patches with one another or ones that didn't change anything. Only issues so far is with the Salt Lake Stories mod where the quest giver for the mod is sitting in front of a fire that is missing a textures, and then some of the little caves for More Mojave have a texture of the old mountains covering them up but I can walk through them with no issue. I'd like to make sure I don't have any big problems though (crashes or significant issues with quests/content), so where would I be able to find help to just once over my list, get rid of any unnecessary junk, etc.? My biggest concern is the load order because I accidentally let LOOT organize it in MO2 and it honestly seemed to do ok? But nevertheless.

--- Called the cops because he/she didn't see neighbors getting out of their house for two days.
--- Stole a military aircraft and battled enemy invaders(when his/her country was attacked).

2024.05.21 20:52 BeLikeWater777 Alcohol at Crew Dinners?

I am a producer and we have a great crew that come together multiple times per year, so we are like family and all know and love each other. On our first jobs together, everyone was professional and didn't order alcohol, maybe 1 drink max at dinners if that. After a few years, our crew members are now ordering many drinks at dinner, buying cases of beer on the production then taking it home, leaving for hours the night before a big production day to a casino and drinking a lot, etc. It really bothers me because alcohol affects your performance the next day (we had a crew member mess up but it was not catastrophic luckily) and they are also ordering tons of food that gets thrown away and uneaten or donated to the hotel staff. It is starting to bother me that they are taking advantage of our company and ordering way more than necessary, including alcohol, taking beer bought by the company home, and also having their performance suffer the next day. I am trying to make production fun and something to look forward to, but this has gone too far.
How do you recommend I handle this? Should I implement a policy where we do not pay for any alcohol or max 1 drink per person at dinners only, tell the other producer to not order too much food, I don't want to be lame but I also feel uncomfortable with how far all this has gone at this point.

Hello, My (57f) husband (64m) have been together for 15 years. We’ve been married for almost 4. It was something we talked about (getting married) for awhile and when my mom was diagnosed with cancer, we decided to get married before she passed. She passed two days after we got married. Last year for my birthday, we went to stay at a hotel/casino. We were having a great time, went back to the room after some drinks and hot tub time, I asked him something he responded with whatever. I HATE that word, I’ve told him so many times I hate it. Well, I told him again how much I hate that he uses that word, he said if you hate me so much maybe we should get divorced. I was shocked and floored. I packed up my stuff and said I’m leaving, you can come with me or stay here, I don’t care. We left together. Got home and the next day he said that he didn’t want to get divorced and I need to get over it. It’s been over a year and I can’t forget what he said. This year, he didn’t even get me a card for my birthday. I’ve been in therapy from losing my parents so close together and now therapy is mostly about us. I’ve tried and tried, he doesn’t do anything, no card, no flowers, no sign of any kind that he’s sorry. We recently were talking and I asked if he’d go to therapy he said no, I said to save this marriage you won’t go to therapy he said he didn’t know what he wanted. The next morning, I packed a bag and went to a friends for the weekend. When I was leaving, he was screaming at me and telling me I was running away. I returned after the weekend, we talked about nothing, went to bed that night and I asked if he decided what he wanted he said this right here. I can honestly say that I don’t know if I want to be here any longer, I just don’t know if I should leave. He tells me every day he loves me. He did that before he said divorce and every day after. I want to do what’s right, I love him, but how many chances does someone get to hurt you before you say it’s enough? Why can’t I “let it go”?

Below is a quick review on my trip on Wots, it was amazing and we loved it, the crew was the best and we met new friends along the way
Day1 - Saturday
Landed Gate C, MCO waited a good 40 minutes for our bags, called hotel for complimentary shuttle and waited 5 min at the curb, checked into courtyard Marriott in Orlando, walked to dinner at TGIF headed back to bed early.

Day2 – Sunday boarding day
Breakfast at hotel. Uber to port Canaveral $68 after tip. Handed bags to porter and walked onboard. Waited in line to book our 3-day dinner package. Picked up our free cups. Free bracelet. Solarium for lunch. Got drinks. Explored the ship, found front spot I solarium for sendoff. Went to room received 1 luggage at 3pm but state room attendant found our other bag for us. Waited in room till 5 PM dinner in MDR. Good food. Guest service to fix reservation time. Solarium pool and hot tub all night.

Day3 – Monday CocoCay
Woke up and looked out window to see Celebrity Beyond already docked (beautiful Ship). Windjammer breakfast. Packed bag and put on Bathing suits, walked to S beach. Swam to bar. Hung out on sandbar. Had lunch (birds were crazy). Headed to ship early (ship was empty). Solarium pools. Table Tennis. Showered watched send off from room with ship-to-ship horn battle. Dinner at 5 pasta night. Bought tampons in store ($8 for 10 cardboard tubes). Hung at park listened to jazz, 3 drinks at trellis bar. Attic for adult comedy. Bed

Day4 – Tuesday Sea Day
Boardwalk Cafe. Johny rockets for pancakes. Hangout aft jogging track to watch the waves. Walked to room. Solarium hot tubs pool. Lunch MDR. Walked Ship. Alpha Alpha Call. The Abyss. Room. Solarium for drinks and people watch. Nap. Jazz in park, 150 Central Park for Dinner. Food was delicious smaller portions FRIED CHEESECAKE FTW! Bed.

Day5 – Wednesday St. Thomas
Windjammer for quick Breakfast. Solarium to watch docking process. Windjammer for lunch. Crazy taxi to Magen’s Bay. Hit the water and made friends who gave us free zinc sunscreen and drinks, also there were small jelly fish larvae that stung us the entire time. (didn’t hurt more of an annoyance). Taxi back to the ship where we showered and hung out on the balcony. Formal night and we went to Chops Grill where I had the best Fillet of my life. Bed
For taxi it was $15 a person one way and $6 pp to get into the beach. Total spent $82 with tip.

Day6 – Thursday St. Maarten
Parking Café for Breakfast and Coffee. Drank Coffee in promenade for dock in.
Then we walked to the excursion. Excursion – Captain Bobs, 15 min walk from the boat where we checked in with Captain Brett I will no spoil the excursion as there are thousands of good reviews on trip adviser, I can’t say more than good things it was worth the money as it was the highlight of the entire trip.
Shower and nap. Mason jar for dinner (not worth is IMO as it tasted like boring BBQ) Aqua Show was inTENse, awesome show, Bed

Day7 – Friday Sea Day
Sleep in. Coffee and leftover for breakfast on private balcony. Solarium to hang. Walk around ship. Every pool and hot tub is max capacity. Hear we going to Turks for a crew member emergency, all we know is that they were flown to Miami. Hangout in room afternoon and received the dreadful disembark paperwork. Dinner at MDR. We wore out bathing suits under out clothes and hit slides then the Solarium Pool as because of dinner they were EMPTY. 365 ice show which was awesome and the best show we saw. Bed

Day8 – Saturday Sea Day
Woke up to watch sunrise at 605 AM. Then slept in. Breakfast at windjammer for the hash browns. Last Rubber Duck hunt as we found 4 total all week and re hid 2 for the kids. Walked the Ship. Taste of Royal at 150, Upset that it was not wonderland as was posted. Meals were underrated and the time in between courses was 20+ min long very boring. Also, wine pairing is extra $. Took over 2 hours.
Casino to check things out. Hang out on balcony then Dinner MDR, Casino and left happy with some winnings, pool rest of the night. Hit the solarium and we were the only 2 people in the pool with a full ship, met up with new friends we made to say goodbye. Back to room to pack.

Day9 – Sunday Disembark
Woke up 545. Both showered. Breakfast at Solarium Bistro, off the boat with our bags at 730. We chose to self-disembark to not deal with the hassle of finding out bags to walked straight to GO Port to bring us back to MCO
bus left and picked more people up at Carnival Mardigras, off to MCO. By the time we got through security at gate C and relax, it was 930… flight was delayed till 4..

Some Facts-
We did have the drink package and we always had a drink in our hands.
Yes, a lot of room time as it was a good way to get away from the crowds.
This was my second cruise but first as an adult.
A lot of Solarium time to stay away from the kids so I have no complaints about them as other people have.
Food everywhere I had Sorrento’s and hot dogs whenever we passed.
I miss that blue water so
Biggest Complaint would have to the older generation, They complaint the most and were the rudest people Ive ever seen.
for MDR we had Ivan and his assistant Agus (who was on his first week) and they were amazing and made us laugh everynight.
food was good everywhere, idk why everyone complains there when i dont have to cook it and its all handed to me.

Hey there, I am considering moving to Chicago from Miami and planning a trip first to see if I like the vibes.
Which area of the city should I book a hotel in?
If any of you are familiar with New York, I really enjoyed the Williamsburg Brooklyn type of vibes. Safe neighborhoods that provided several options for cafes and nightlife.
I also hear downtown is not really the same as manhattan, since people just go there for work.
Would love to hear your recommendations.
