i have a 64 game cartridge that worked fine forever, until i started getting on it then soon after going to the home screen on repeat and back to it just to test out the different photos i added to the homescreen. Now everytime i get on a game on it, it is stuck on this screen that says loading. helpp.

I know this is primarily a PVP game, but I'm loving just playing it PVE on brutal.
The progression is super satisfying, but at the moment after killing Dracula, you got these really cool gearsets and builds, theres no endgame content match for your power, with that comes my two sugestions: Uber VBloods and T3 Incursions
1- T3 Incursions: So it would be like T2 Incursions but higher level enemies more loot whatever, and they would drop materials needed to summon the uber version of bosses (more on that on the second point)
2- Uber VBloods: Simple, more powerful versions of the VBloods at a high item level. Killing the normal VBlood could have a chance to drop some kind of item that toghether with the material from a T3 Incursion would allow you to summon an Uber version of it.
For the summoning maybe add some item you get via quest(after dracula) that works like a portal to an arena where you can summon these Ubers.
And thats it, for rewards from these VBloods im a bit out of ideas, so would love to hear what you guys think would be suitable rewards for ubers (maybe their heads as decor?)
TLDR: I want to test my fully fledged build against a super op dracula with 100+ gear level (:

Paul and the other three guys that he shared quarters with finally went to bed. He took one more glance at your profile as the lightest went out and he tucked himself in his twin-sized bunk cut out from the wall. He drifted off peacefully to sleep to the gentle hum of the engines. He dreamed of the woman in his match message, his future mate. At around 2:00 a.m., the bulge between his legs swelled as he dreamed. The soft fabric of his pajama pants shifted and rose, and rose, and rose... Soon his bedsheets were a mountain in the darkness of the bed quarters. And Paul dreamed even more vividly of his mate. The bulging mountain tensed and shuddered visibly. And then again. And again even more powerfully. A moment later, wetness soaked his pajama bottoms and then the bedsheets over them. The wetness flowed and spread. More, and more and more, until it oozed to cover a large portion of the lower half of the bed. Hello! I thought it would be fun to set a smutty, romantic romp on an alien world.
I was also toying with the idea of our characters being somehow genetically enhanced to make them sexy as fuck, which explains Paul's absurd statistics early in the prompt. I am happy to discuss that though. Perhaps they are just hot from centuries of natural selection. Perhaps they were engineered from birth to be perfect space colonists, or perhaps they were given genetic treatment while in cryostasis on the journey, or we can totally ignore the issue and just have them be hot for hotness sake! I do like the idea of our characters being very attractive though. I also have to say I am a HUGE fan of big boobs and big booties.
I know I wrote your part in second person, and mine in third person. I am happy to write my character in either first or third person. I am also happy to write the parts of third party characters that flit in and out of our story, and I would be happy if you also share the burden!
Another idea that might be fun to explore is if additional "mates" are added to our "family" at some point. Not sure on this, happy to hear your thoughts if you are interested.
Some other kinks and interests that may work for the story: detailed writing, creative writing partners, fit characters, big tits, big butts, big cock, lots of cum, passionate fucking, outdoor sex, group sex (when it fits the story), voyeurism, exhibitionism, playful competition and comparison, and I am sure much more!

Ok, so we have a really really really weird issue we've spent a whole day on and no one can figure it out. So, Im throwing a hail mary to this sub.
We have a client who uses a local file share server. They also leverage Todyl for network security. Todyl is installed on all devices; including the server. SecureDNS is configured, so any dns requests gets forwarded to the local dc, which is handling dhcp, dns, etc. and the dc has public dns forwarders.
Users come in Monday and only a few of them can access the shares. Everyone else gets a connectivity issue error and if you try to \\ or \\ in explorer we get a network error basically saying the workstation cannot find the server. Nothing has changed on the network and only a cumulative update for Server 2016 was installed the Saturday before. We rolled back this update; but the issue persisted. The server is pingable via IP and hostname and nslookup returns the correct internal IP. However, trying to access the shares constantly generates the connectivity issue error message.
As a test we created a share on the local workstation and confirmed we could successfully connect and browse it from the server using \\ and the IP. So, we ruled out a network issue; also, the firewall on both devices are disabled. We disabled Todyl on both machines and the issue continued. We can ping via IP and hostname, but cannot access the shares. We attempted to add a secondary IP to the nic, but the same issues are happening. Tracert showing the correct hop as well; it shows one hop directly to the server as expected. Something else we noticed is running a gpupdate/force returns an error message saying the policies could not be updated because the workstation cannot reach the sysvol directory.
Weirdly enough, the Todyl IP works flawlessly. We also have a tunnel configured between the office and todyl, so any device on the office network can route to the Todyl IP without any additional configuration needed. All devices with Todyl already installed can access the servers Todyl IP no matter their location. As a workaround we updated the dns in Todyl to resolve the server to the Todyl IP and added host file entries to allow anyone onsite w/out the todyl agent to still be able to route to the server. This even allows gpupdate to start working correctly. Its almost like the server is rejecting to serve anything and is only responding to pings.
We cannot for the life of use figure out why the server is responding on its local IP, but not allowing us to browse the file shares. We do not want to enable SMBv1 for obvious reasons and everything was working fine prior to this Monday. We are going to send an onsite tech out today to attempt to try to leverage the other nic on the server just in case that is the problem. Would love to hear any other recommendation.

I'm compiling a variety of different factory loads to test through my 338 WinMag and am looking for the ideal bullet for large game (Elk, Bear, Moose, Bison) that can be utilized both at close and further ranges, let's 50-500m.
I currently have a decent stockpile of the Hornady ELD-X Precision Hunter cartridges but have read a couple accounts of the bullet not performing well at close range due to inadequate expansion.
Which bullets do you prefer for your big game duty? Hornady ELD-X? Barnes TTSX? Norma Oryx? Winchester Accubond?
Other?

2024.05.21 15:06 grewupinwpg Crashes and freezing - Windows 11 / RTX 3060 TI - variety of errors 🤔

I've been experiencing system crashes, freezes and loads of critical/warnings in the event log viewer I've been trying to sort through the last few days without much success. I'm going to try to summarize things as much as I can, and include any data I have while I'm not at the machine (I'm on the way to work at the moment).
Any help or guidance on other things to try is appreciated. I want to avoid bringing it in to the shop for service if possible!
Below is a summary of what I've tried so far with as much detail as I can:
May 18th - First series of crashes identified 'GameInputSvc.exe' as a source of trouble in the event log. When I googled the errors, it led me to this thread (https://www.reddit.com/WindowsHelp/comments/18bb6e0/gameinput_service_stops_working_after_windows_11/) and uninstalled Game Input app from the Windows Apps list, as it showed it was from 2023. I no longer saw this in the task manager after a reboot.
May 19th - more crashes while playing Fallout 4 or just booting up. Looked at the event log and it showed the WiFi driver was crashing. When I googled it, some threads mentioned the Intel Driver and Support software as a possible source. I uninstalled that software. Installed the WiFi driver from my PC manufacturers website (MSI).
Some examples of errors: "Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered." "Intel(R) Wi-Fi 6 AX200 160MHz : Has encountered an internal error and has failed." "5007 - TX/CMD timeout (TfdQueue hanged)"
This one was prominent especially the next day (May 20th):
"The description for Event ID 0 from source nvlddmkm cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.
If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.
The following information was included with the event:
\Device\Video3 Error occurred on GPUID: 100"
This clearly indicates an issue with the video card drivers. I reverted to the older version of video drivers for my RTX 3060 TI. I was able to play games and use the PC without issue for a while. Then it began to crash again. Back into the event viewer.

A lot of driver crashing is caused by Windows TDR issue. There is a huge post on GeForce forum about this here. This post dated back to 2009 (Thanks Microsoft) and it can affect both Nvidia and AMD cards.
Unfortunately this issue can be caused by many different things so it’s difficult to pin down. However, editing the windows registry might solve the problem.
Additionally, there is also a tool made by Wagnard (maker of DDU) that can be used to change this TDR value. Download here. Note that I have not personally tested this tool."

I added the registry key as suggested to change the time the system waits for the video card drivers to recover from 2 seconds to 10 seconds. My next step was to use DDU to uninstall the video drivers, and reinstall the latest 552.44 driver. I then did a sfc /scannow to try to ensure the integrity of system files. However I left my machine on after playing Fallout 4 fine for a few hours and it crashed about 6 min after I left it to go to bed (according to event log).
I can provide a link to my reliability report XML if that helps. I'll also try to save the event log later today.
I'm at the point of reinstalling Windows tonight as a final step before I take the box in to my local PC shop, which will take a week or 2 to fix. I'd really like to avoid that cost if I can.

2024.05.21 14:51 CorsairVelo Quitting Ente for a year

I'm primarily a desktop user with about 100k photos from a DLSR and MILC cameras, about 50k are setup to be sync to Ente. Been using Ente for a couple years but the desktop app just isn't cutting it for me.
It appears to me that Ente is primarily for mobile photo users and if all I did was shoot on mobile, I'd continue happily. I generally like the product and it's mission and want it to succeed and it may very well do great with just mobile photography users.
My Problems with desktop

On Mac, it constantly uses 250% plus or minus of the CPU. I leave it on for a couple days and it's still hogging the machine. This happened on a 2018 intel mac mini and now is happening on a 2023 Mac Studio (M2). It has similar problems on Linux. I reported this "issue" way back.

Desktop app repeatedly flickers: blanks out and reappears. Been happening for over a year.
While Desktop app is running and flickering. I can click on a photo and I get a "404" error. Which is hard to resolve without closing out the app and restarting.

I log into the website and it flashes a message "nothing to see here yet" quickly before it rebuilds my Memories (photos) from scratch. The website counts up from 0 to 50k (roughly the photos I've got in there). It takes 15 minutes. I guess that's fine if you want to leave the site up constantly. It's probably due to lack of ability to store thumbnails due to encryption or something. Maybe there's a work around. Not that important to me as I mostly use the app.
Regarding albums, ente was sync'ing my DLSR folder structure (yyyy /yyyymm /assignment and converted the assignments to albums. Problem was, I have 800 "assignments" or shoots and they are not grouped at all in Ente - I just have a massive set of albums. I would want a way to group albums (family, work, sports , scenic whatever). Not a game changer, but this is probably only a desktop/DSLR user problem, not so much a smartphone user problem. I'd probably work around this if I wasn't getting the 404 errors and high CPU utilization.

Anyway, I just received an "about to renew your subscription" email and I said to myself: I'm going to save the $99 (500GB plan) in 2024 and re-test the service in a year.

2024.05.21 14:50 biggyh 2 year old dog refusing to walk outside all of a sudden

For a little over 2 weeks, our 2 year old Portuguese Water Dog (boy, 50lb/22kg) has refused to walk outside. Normally we go outside 3-4 times a day on walks ranging from 10-45 minutes. However now its mainly just standing around for 10 minutes before we go back inside. When he does walk, he's very very slow and if there is any resistance on his harness, he freezes (we dont tug or yank on him ever).
We have taken him to the vet to get checked out, tried using a variety of treats, and just about everything else the internet & our trainer can suggest. Longer leash, ignoring him, standing our ground, leading with treats, hype when he moves, and the list goes on.
Even walking with friends and other dogs that he normally is obsessed with — he still refuses to move. The only way we can get maybe 10 minutes out of him is when both my wife and I go outside together but then when he wants to stop, he stops. If we give in and carry him (he's about 50lbs), even a block, he snacks
As far as we can tell he’s a happy boy, loving running around at the park, cuddling at home, hanging out with us — but once we’re outside he will almost always refuse to move at all. It's like theres an invisible barrier between our home and the outside where he changes.
We've been advised to ignore him inside, no treats/toys, and only give him attention and treats/food outside, so we'll try this now.
I’m assuming this is a game or power-move, but we really just don’t want to start dreading going outside with him. I will take him back to the vet on Thursday, while there should I ask for any particular tests or anything? We're really at a loss on what to do, or what to not do, so I'm looking to this community for help.

Hello techsupport guys! I would need your help on one of my unusual issues.
Last March 17, I bought a Ryzen 7 5700x3D to give my old 3600 system upgrade. It was running on a Asus TUF b450m gaming motherboard. I updated the bios to version 4401 and it worked from March until this weekend. I have a 750W Gold PSU and a 3070 running off 16GB of 3200mhz of RAM and a Lian Li 240 AIO cooler.
This weekend, I have experienced random freezing when playing Diablo 4 or just by watching videos on youtube. I tried to troubleshoot the issue by unplugging other devices by unplugging other USB devices and I was able to play all weekend.
Come Sunday morning, the PC wont POST at all. The lights will turn on but it will not show any display (no signal). There is one time where it tried to turn off then restarted itself again. I tried the following steps to check what is the issue:

Test if the PC will POST by removing all components like HDD, RAM modules, GPU (just listen for the sound and there is no sound) etc..
Cleared CMOS battery by removing the battery while the PC is unplugged and pressing and holding the power button to drain the electricity and re-plugging the battery back in. Still no POST.
Repaste and reseat the CPU cooler.
Reseat and clean the ram modules.

As I find this unusual, I tried putting in my old Ryzen 3600 back in the PC to check maybe the new CPU is the issue. My PC posted and turned on with the 3600.
I went back to the store where I bought the 5700x3D for possible RMA and they tested it on a A520 and b550 board and the CPU POST on their end. They also run a cinebench single core and multi core test while I was there to ensure that it is not a bad chip and it did finish the test. I also did run a cinebench on my own rrig using the 3600 and it also did finish the test.
I went home and tried the CPU again and it still wont POST. Now I am not sure on what steps to do to check. I know its either a faulty PSU or a faulty board but I dont know how to test to ensure. I can only afford a PSU or a motherboard replacement so I would really help any advice you can give to further assess any issues since my 3600 is still working on the current setup.

When Barbara Leonhard was just 6 years old, her life took an intense turn as she and two of her siblings contracted measles during one of the most severe outbreaks in history. Like hundreds of thousands of other children in 1958, all three siblings experienced the typical symptoms of measles.
“I remember the red spots and feeling miserable,” Leonhard, a Columbia native, said.
But Leonhard’s condition quickly escalated into something far more serious: encephalitis, a dangerous inflammation of the brain.
She suddenly found herself unable to walk.
“I remember being energetic and then suddenly, I couldn’t even climb the stairs. My legs gave out when I was sent upstairs to fetch something for my mother,” Leonard said. “It was terrifying.”
Leonhard slipped into a coma that lasted for almost 30 days. During that time, her family was engulfed in several crises. Her father was preoccupied with caring for his own father, who was battling brain cancer, while also attending to his duties as a minister.
Leonhard’s mother, with a newborn and two other sick children, was stretched to her limits.
“She had to manage everything,” Leonhard said. “There were days I was left under a makeshift tent of blankets with a steamer to help ease my breathing because of the pneumonia risk that comes with measles and encephalitis.”
This period was not only a test of physical endurance for Leonhard but also a profound isolation from normal childhood experiences. When she awoke from the coma, the world as she knew it had irrevocably changed. She found herself unable to walk or talk properly, her movements restricted, her speech impaired.
“I was paralyzed. I could hardly talk. All the words I could see in my mind, but they came out like baby talk,” she said.
Doctors informed her parents that she would never walk again. “They said it right in front of me,” Leonhard said, the memory still vivid.
With a resilience that defied the odds, after she turned 7, Leonhard taught herself to walk again. With no professional rehabilitation available, she began her arduous journey. She used furniture for support, painstakingly moving from one piece to the next, each small shuffle a victory.
Leonhard’s struggles made her a committed advocate for public awareness of the risks of measles and the importance of vaccination.
Her recovery is a rare case. Her journey was marked by gradual milestones, yet some limitations have persisted throughout her life.
While she regained the ability to walk, years later she still faces difficulties with activities that require sudden movements or physical agility. “These kinds of movements are just too difficult for me,” Leonhard said.
The aftermath of encephalitis left a lasting impact on her cognitive functions, particularly affecting her memory and learning capabilities. These challenges cast a long shadow over her school experiences, contributing to a significant lack of confidence.
“I struggled to remember things and I had to work three times harder than everyone else just to keep up,” Leonhard said.
Despite these difficulties, Leonhard found solace and expression in writing poetry, which became a vital outlet for her thoughts and emotions. This creative pursuit not only provided a therapeutic escape but also helped her forge a unique academic and career path.
“It was how I made sense of my world, the challenges I faced, and it was deeply fulfilling,” she said.
Leonhard’s academic path was marked by resilience and success, despite initial doubts about her capabilities. She attended Lake Superior State College in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, for her undergraduate degree in English language, graduating with honors.
She continued her education in Missouri, earning her master’s degree at MU in English language and linguistics, with honors once again.
“Despite some people’s doubts, I managed to excel academically, earning honors and disproving the skeptics,” Leonhard said.
In her professional life, Leonhard leveraged her skills and experiences to build a successful career focused on language and education. She was instrumental in developing an English program, which she led for many years, helping countless students from diverse backgrounds to improve their language skills.
“My career has been about helping others find their voice, much like I had to find mine,” Leonhard said. “Every student I helped was a reminder of my journey from that hospital bed to where I am now.”
Leonhard continues to advocate for public awareness about the risks of measles and the importance of vaccination.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, measles, mumps and rubella vaccination rates in the U.S. have decreased from 95% in the 2019-2020 school year to 93.1% in 2022-2023. Hey everyone,
Since I've been going through most of the stuff you guys are describing here, I hope to ressurect this topic. As I have decided to deep dive into this, below is a TL;DR post but still interesting and informative.
I got into DCS 4-5 months ago from iRacing and simracing in general, with my newly upgraded PC, Intel 14700K i7 and 4090 and OldieButGoldie Reverb G2 v1, suddenly a wish for having a clear and smooth picture while flying has never been stronger.
I have been testing various combinations, and some results are quite surprising, shocking even. It is important to mention that tests have been done on Multi Thread version of DCS (OpenXR is forced by default), and that I have used MSI Afterburner to increase GPU and VRAM clock by 50 as well as I have moved all Power related and sliders to the max.
As I am still fairly indecisive of what exact combination to go for, I will share what I have tried (combinations of OpenXR Toolkit and in-game settings...), and hoping to hear your feedback and suggestions... also hoping to make some of you start tweaking your graphics settings again and sharing valuable feedback. :)

Conclusion: Unusable with current hardware, was really nice to see this level of clarity in DCS, at least for a few seconds :)

Conclusion: Still unusable with current hardware, was really nice to see this level of clarity in DCS, at least for a few seconds :)

Overall experience: Most of the time very smooth, with a few stutters, when looking on a side. Image is quite crisp, nicely antialiased.
Conclusion: Quite usable, will probably fly like this for a while. Still interested in testing DLSS while manually overriding resolution in OpenXR Toolkit to quite high values again (160%-190% resolution)
GENERAL CONCLUSION:
As already quite known widely, NIS upscaling method is quite obsolete, and stresses the GPU more than DLSS. Results were quite impressive with NIS Upscaling, but I strongly believe, if used right, results can be better with DLSS. Will do a few more attempts with DLSS and higher resolution... hope you guys will find this useful, let's discuss more.
There is a performance sweetspot out there... for each and every one of us. :)

2024.05.21 14:28 mgttc9 First ER results 29F/33M with low AMH and low morphology

Hi all, I've looked at a ton of hunger games results throughout this process and figured I'd throw mine in as well. I also love details so I tried to include everything even potentially relevant.
Results 20ish follicles 15 retrieved 14 mature 11 fertilized with ICSI 7 blasts frozen (2 day 5s, 4 day 6s, 1 day 7)
Context We have been TTC for 3.5 years with no pregnancies. Treatment history includes 5 medicated TI cycles and 3 IUIs (all with letrozole).
My spouse had low T discovered 1.5 years ago and has been successfully medicated with clomid and anastrozole for low sperm count. Motility is good but he consistently has 0-1% morphology. My RE defaults to ICSI for any MFI (zymot was not mentioned).
My usual AMH is around 0.8ng/ml and my AFC is around 10. A few months ago my AMH was randomly 1.8ng/ml and my AFC at baseline for my ER was zero after 3 weeks on birth control. My RE hoped for 5-8 eggs from this cycle.
Protocol My RE insisted 0 AFC was not a problem to move forward and started me on 300IU follistim and 150IU menopur for the first 5 days. On day 6 of stims, they saw 24 growing follicles which was a huge surprise.
Added ganirelix that day and dropped to 225 follistim and 75 menopur; further dropped follistim to 150 on day 8 when they counted around 20 follicles.
Last monitoring appointment and doses of follistim/menopur were on day 9 and we triggered with 10,000IU HCG the following night (shout-out to my husband for jabbing that huge needle in my butt at 1:00am on Mother's Day lol).
Continued ganirelix daily through ER and the following week. Also added letrozole and cabergoline to prevent OHSS. Had a standard course of antibiotics (doxycycline).
Symptoms and side effects On stims, my biggest side effect was feeling crazy emotional. Everything had me crying or raging. The constipation hit me like a truck on stim day 9 and lasted a week after ER.
That whole week I was bloated and uncomfortable and it took a few days for my ovaries to calm down. I drank a lot of electrolytes, took my prescribed meds, and did not develop OHSS.
Genetic testing and future plans PGT-A was a complicated decision but we ultimately decided not to test. We are hoping for one child and do not plan on another ER at this time.
