Hey, so I found an xbox original for sale for 15$ at goodwill outlet. When I got home I opened and it had a copy of Gauntlet Dark Legacy in the disk tray in awesome condition.
I still have copies of halo and halo 2, and a copy of PSO so I wanted to play online from the comfort of my couch like back in the day and figured this would be a good time to purchase since it was so cheap.
The xbox has some type of mod installed called Evolution.
I'm able to save my games to the hard drive with it and play them from the hard drive.
I can also access the original xbox dashboard if I choose to.
But when watching a walk through my dash number is out of date, probably due to the mod.
Is it possible to set up insignia with a modded xbox? Any links or personal success story would be helpful. Or should I just get a second xbox?

Also, it seems that having just this one unit is very inadequate for the space. Most of the BTU-needs calculators I've tried seem to recommend at least 15,000 BTUs, though I imagine this a significant UNDERestimate given the fact that most of these assume the calculation is for ONE ROOM. Here's the AC unit. I don't know what model it is. Does anyone know? We've used it through one summer so far (along with a separate dehumidifier) and it definitely did not keep up. I did try cleaning the filtescreen once; it didn't really seem that different afterwards. Unknown through-wall GE AC unit I was hoping that it would be easy to swap it out for a newer, more powerful one, but it seems that I'm going to have to have the circuit upgraded/rewired for 208/230V; I'm not excited about how much that will cost, but the unit is only about seven feet away from the breaker, so maybe it wouldn't cost all that much? (Quickly checking online, it looks like adding a circuit costs between 500 and 1000 on average, which is less than I would have expected. Is this accurate?) I don't really want to make any more holes in the exterior wall at this point, so I'm hoping I can just try my luck with upgrading this unit. TLDR: My questions, then, are these: 1) Is this setup really shoddy? Was it most likely the result of thinking "Welp, some AC is better than none"? 2) How illegal/dangerous is this? 3) What would be the recommended BTUs for this space considering it is in Minnesota (Region 5? Finishing my basement and the kitchen and the bathroom share a wall. Currently my plan is to have my electric range directly behind my shower (on opposite sides of the same wall).
My question is this - can I have my shower valve in the wall - and then poking out of the other side of the wall can I have my 220 (or 210 whatever it is) outlet facing out the opposite side of the wall?
I looked online but couldnt see anything. I can see how this would be a problem, but wanted to check here first!

I moved across the country from a really bad home to live with my friends who’s a trans man and his mom. I’m so grateful for them helping me get on my feet. I got a boyfriend recently and it’s been utterly wonderful to finally start rebuilding myself a bit and finding outlets of joy but recently my best friend has started being SO snarky and dismissive of my bf and has been going to his mom to talk to her about him and me in a negative way. Reposting things online about how he hates hearing about a bf and he doesn’t want his friends bringing their bfs around him and it’s tacky.
For context I’m F20 my best friend is M18, I see my bf M22 about once a week. I’m sometimes on my phone texting around my best friend because my bf has a time consuming job so we do try and talk at nights or mornings which happens to be when my best friend is asleep but sometimes I do text my bf throughout the day for check ins.
While on the other hand my best friend is in a long distance relationship and is non stop on the phone or calls or anything actively ignoring me in the room. Just always on his phone non stop. I’ve let it slide because I know his partner brings him so much joy even though trying to speak to him it’s always about a fight they had or whatever.
The complaining started right after we spent 4 days (only during the day for a few hours) with my bf and my best friends other friends, at a convention.
When I say I’m going to see him I get eye rolls and overhear him complaining to his part er on the phone, his mom tells me to be basically more mindful of my friend, ect. This caused me to get defensive with his mom and ask why they make it sound like I’m bringing my bf over every day, blowing off plans, and constantly ignoring my best friend and his mom just said that’s between me and my friend. I’ve spent a lot of time going out of my way to make my best friend know I’m there and caring and present when we hang out. Once he has his keys he comes over and starts spackling over some scuffs in the walls, but it hasn't been sanded or painted yet. Last night he texts me in the evening and says he doesn't think living there is gonna work out, and said it was because the electrical outlet set up (not sure if thats actually true or if it was some other reason) and now he wants the full deposit+first month back.
I should note that in the agreement it states that the sub tenant pays month to month and if either parties want to terminate the agreement they need to give 30 days notice. He texted me on the 14th of the month after I had already used his half of the rent to pay for May. Am I within my rights to keep his security deposit for failing to give me 30 days? I also now have to sand/paint over the spackling in order to show the room, not to mention the whole process of interviewing new prospective tenants. Anyone have a similar experience? Advice appreciated

Basically the title; I have an inspection Friday. The house has 2 prong outlets in the living room and bedrooms. I’m reading online if the house doesn’t have ground wires ran. I could use a GFCI outlet and that would act as a “safety ground”. At that point would I just replace every outlet with GFCI? Or just replace the first outlet in the circuit with GFCI; then replace the other 2 prongs with regular 3 prongs in that circuit? I own a house built in 1960, many of the outlets test as ungrounded. The kitchen and the outlets closest to the kitchen are grounded. This is the second story of a duplex.
I keep hearing conflicting info online and from contractors about how I can go about grounding these. Ive heard some say that pulling a new wire could be simple, ive heard some say that the ground wire is "likely just not connected" which seems ridiculous. Ive heard that it might be necessary to tear out the drywall upstairs and downstairs to run a new wire.
Im trying to use the outlet in my office to power my workstation PC, which may spike to 1500 watts in rare circumstances. Usually will run at about 1000 under load.
Any ideas? I dont have 40k laying around
EDIT: Pannels are very old and need replaced as well, just more info for you guys if that changes anything.

I (23F) have been chronicly lonely for about 9 years. My parents (who were drug addicts) withdrew me from school when I was 14 and didnt allow me to leave the house or have any friends. When I turned 18, I met my husband on Facebook through mutual friends. After about a month of dating, my mother said I broke the "rules" (idek what she was referring to, she has had mental problems my whole life) and she kicked me out. - No one liners! I use roleplaying as a creative outlet and I feel like both of us would be able to have A LOT more fun if some effort is put into it. I am looking for partners interested in writing literate-novella style roleplays. But I also value quality over quantity and won't police you on wordcount. Just try to keep it to at least a few paragraphs.
- I write in third person past tense and need you to do the same. Literacy is also something I value and I would love someone who uses a lot of descriptive language etc. I will not be mad for grammatical errors as English isn't my native language anyway, but I would like to be able to understand what you're saying and I'd like for you to know the difference between you're, your, their, they're etc.
- Be patient with my responses. I am a working adult and I have a life outside of roleplaying. This means I can't be online the 24/7 for replies. I am most likely available for OOC talk most of the time. The more you'll push me for a response when I'm busy the more likely you are to not get one at all. Please be respectful and I will do the exact same to you.
- You need to pull your own weight in the rp, I don't want to lead your character through the plot, this is meant to be a story we create together.
- I love talking about our characters and whatever world we decide to go for. Plotting and just talking about headcanons/whatever is also great and something I appreciate a lot. The password is blighted.
- I am very friendly OOC and will gladly have OOC conversations with you if that's something you'd want!
