I just finished my freshman year at a private small college in Wisconsin. I want to transfer because my current school has basically no student life and not all the professors I had were good in my opinion. My school also lacks student orgs. I want to do acapella and maybe some type of volunteering.
I am wondering what the student life is like. Do people go to the basketball games? Are there parties? Also would Greek life be worth joining? Also I know a lot of the schools in wisconsin are drinking schools and I personally am more of a smoker so what is DePaul like in that way?
I am also looking at Marquette which has pretty good internship opportunities/ study abroad opportunities. I’m not completely sure what I want to major in yet but possibly Communications and media with a minor in marketing and I am thinking of going to law school after so I am also wondering if there are any undergraduate opportunities.
Lastly, I saw online that there have been some armed robberies so do students feel safe with campus security?

I just bought the game recently and I see there are 2 achievements locked behind going online. One for visiting a kingdom with 20 banners and one for getting 10 banners on your own. I'm not counting on being able to get the one for 10 banners on mine. But does anyone have a kingdom with 20 they'd be willing to let me join?

I'm looking to start an in person, asynchronous diplomacy game on the default map with the 4 members of my household. Rather than have the 3 other powers be vacant I was hoping they could be filled in by a simplistic AI that I could just feed a board state and have it return plausible moves. Does such a program or service exist? All the services online like WebDiplomacy don't seem to have a mixed multiplayeAI option. Does something like what I'm looking for exist?

I have been playing 2k since 2k16, I have been watching my brother play it since 2k14. I have always had problems with delay when I play online, I have an Ethernet cord, my download speeds are 800mb-1.5gb. I have never been able to fix this issue, I love the game so much and always have, but I have never been able to truly enjoy it. Anybody have any tips?

I (17M) have always lived rather independently. I have friends I talk to but I once I leave school I usually just do stuff by myself. Mostly games and books and the like. If I played anything multiplayer it was with one person online or with my sister. Recently I had a huge frenzy of a relationship starting with her convincing me to date her and that i was worthy of love, to her showing me true love and affection, to her mother breaking us up and saying we can’t even be friends even though she is 18 and should be able to make her own choices and ending with her hating me and ruining my reputation and several friendships. I have the full story with all the ups downs and her controlling manipulative emotionally-abusive mother. If needed for context I can add it. After this super close relationship, i’m finding myself missing texting her constantly and i got super dependent so doing things alone feels lonely and difficult instead of natural. I keep longing for connection to anyone. Trying to talk with friends and game with friends way more. I used to never talk with or play with friends before and i never needed to. But now i’m struggling to do things alone and constantly longing for the connection and involvement she showed me was possible and invited me into. It also hurts knowing she’s graduating in a few days and i’ll never make amends. She’ll probably hate me forever. I've played dragons dogma, eso, elden ring, skyrim, fallout 4, 76, tera, and i am looking for a new game to light a fire in me! I prefer co-op, no pvp, crafting, building your character kind of games. Just not with the elden ring or code vein level difficulty. Ff online felt to me like their system was to overwhelming and all over the place.

As I'm building decks and working on new ideas from this set, and as I'm looking at content online, or previous results from events. It genuinely feels like the game is completely warped around having to include one of these two ink colors to be remotely competitive.
In trying to understand this and looking at where my decks fail, it always feels like the root issue is the lack of removal outside of these two inks. In theory the only alternative angle to attack is discard which again in most cases will leverage steel for songs/removal and often isn't enough itself (like lemon lime will always be worse than steel emerald).
What am I missing? Do we have any sense of if the developers are planning to tackle this problem? My hope was over time with new sets this would improve but now into set 4 it's pretty clear the top decks will remain in the same ink combos.

Hi Reddit. I’m a 19 M and have been having a consistent argument with my parents for a while.
I never wanted to go to college because I thought it was a waste of money. I was homeschooled since 3rd grade and in that time had an opportunity to do dual enrollment but my mom said for some reason I couldn’t when in reality she misunderstood a counselor and I could since I was like 15/16. So basically while one of my friends went ahead and became a nurse I never got to do anything like that to get ahead.
From 17-19 I’ve basically worked 32+ hours a week doing full time jobs from irrigation to chipotle to cleaning offices to now working front desk at a hotel.
I’ve been wanting to learn a “trade” so I recently went with graphic design a couple months ago and began taking an online course. I’ve been very consistent with it but it’s very tiring working a 9-5 four days a week on top of taking care of my physical health as I love weightlifting and also helping my parents out with cooking/running errands etc. and after all that make sure I have time to learn my course.
I have really bad ADHD and have even tried meds but they gave me headaches. So recently I’ve tried asking them if I can just do 3 days of work and spend the other 4 learning as I already have no social life and don’t even play video games or do anything for fun tbh.
They’re saying I spent too long on what I wanted to do as a trade and if I wanna be a man I now have to work full time and figure it out because it’s what they had to do as teens. I’ve tried explaining I’m exhausted mentally and physically and can’t maintain this I feel like I’m going nowhere. They keep saying “welcome to being an adult”.

I highly recommend you watch the whole video if you haven't already (it has English subtitles). But, here's the relevant bits about CS2's current state, where he mainly talks about gunplay differences between CSGO and CS2, all in the backdrop of the current state of peeker's advantage in CS2.
The video was uploaded on Mar 11, 2024, ~1 month after the big Arms Race update that fixed the egregious peeker's advantage. I think most of his comments still fairly applies to how the game feels right now.

We all know that online the game is worse than on LAN. It's obvious. The game gets better each day, but I wouldn't say it's even 80% as good as CS:GO was. The [excellent] feature [of CS2] is not mechanics, it's the visuals and so on. And some fundamental things, which we are used to, stay as unpolished. Like peeks, strafes. It seems that all the people became kind of less skilled.
But when you've been playing the game for years, on a subconscious level you, for instance, come here, crouch in [mirage] Window, and you know you can make two shots and run away. But in reality you can't do that. Unfortunately, the game has changed. It became simpler. If you were pressing W non-stop, you now have an advantage, because you're used to it.
Right now you can't stand or do a frag. That's what I understood playing this game. You can't just stand right now.
In comparison with my previous video, you can see the difference between donk and s1mple in terms of movement. The majority of the players try to adapt and move like donk. All this constant movement.
There is no such thing as crosshair placement at the moment. In CS:GO, it was a basis of the game. You could have bad movement, but if you placed your crosshair right, you were good. Right now, you have to move good, and the crosshair placement will help you, but once your enemy gains speed, it won't help you. If a guy peeks you like this, in CS:GO this peek would look like hot garbage. Dude peeks you with a Shift and Ctrl! This is shocking. In CS:GO, you spray him the hell down. But in this game you've got advantage. Especially if your ping is 5 against ping 20 or something, you're a god in this game. And don't even get me started on FPS or good PCs, your financial status, how rich you are.
There's this thing in CS2—You feel invincible the first second or half a second when you peek someone. If you press the buttons precisely and have a good speed—I'm telling from my DM and games experience, I feel myself invincible. The peeker has an opportunity to strafe, think for a few milliseconds (maybe for the famous 7 milliseconds). And then aim precisely, all the while the enemy has to do an insane shot. Anyway, if you don't hit the head with the first shot, you no longer have the advantage.

Yesterday and previous days my game has worked no problem with stand ultimate but today I tried to get on and when I join online my game will just close and close and close after like 5-10 min of chillin online and it also seems people were able to troll me and do things that usually my stand would have blocked?? I’ve recently started a play through with a few friends. This is our first play through and I was the first to speak with Shadowheart. She follows me and I’m the only one to control her character. One of my friends is jealous (plus he’s an accountant irl so his life has to be boring), and I’d like him to have some sort of excitement in his life. Is there a way to “give” him control of shadowheart without restarting? I haven’t found anything online

After starting T, within three months of off and on fasting, my thighs and ass are now manly and flat. I had what you’d call a “nice” ass. If I had listened to the people who were telling me not to do this, that I need to have body positivity, I would be making zero progress.
I do not want to spend life looking like a chubby faced chick with pcos. It’s common sense to realise that fat distribution will take awhile, and female puberty slaps fat everywhere, so why sabotage it by telling others to avoid this?
This changed the whole game for me, honestly. I’m not even talking about cutting back to the point of fatigue, but upping water intake , eating at a limit of 200 calories minus maintenance, and working out.

Good evening. I just bought Tails of Iron on Epic Games but when I try to start it from Steam Deck it keeps remaining on this initial black screen. I tried changing the Proton version, starting it from Linux, restarting several times but nothing. I also tried searching online by entering the string in the options but nothing. how can I do?
