I've been using gnome for a while. Recently, I noticed that that there is a quite obvious blank space/padding between screen edge (built-in display) and the display on screen. It seems like gnome confuses available screen resolution and displays for a smaller screen resolution? But this issue goes away when I connect to an external monitor.
I don't remember facing this issue before. For context, I recently tried out Paper WM on my computer, but I don't think its because of it as the issue still persists even after removing it.
I tried taking a screenshot of my entire screen, but I noticed that it doesn't extend to the full screen edge. So, its kinda hard for me to explain clearly. Anyhoo, anyone know how to fix this??

How the hell does Sect keep something like their own cultivation techniques a secret? What happens when another Sect captures a Core Disciple or something and uses some technique to learn about their sect's cultivation technique? Does the cultivation technique have a built-in suicide bomb? Does the disciple know that what they are learning has a self-destruct button? Can't something like Movement techniques or any technique that requires you to physically perform it be understood just by looking even if it takes a long time?
For example, a Core disciple learns a high-grade Movement technique from their sect and it is forbidden to learn it if you are not from that sect, can't an Expert several realms above that disciple just deduce the technique just by looking at the disciple does it? why would an expert learn something so much lower than them? I mean boredom and seeking death is a thing so they just do it to piss off people, like "Haha, is THIS your super secret cultivation technique, well it not so secret now it is, lmao"

Currently have a Redmi note 12. Previously had a pixel 4xl that I loved but it had some issues which consisted of the lock screen and face unlock freezing and the drawer not opening. Besides this the only issue I had was battery life and heating up. The space while low (6/64) didn't bother me too much.
I had to sell that and get this but I'm not happy with it. The specs are too low. I don't care about camera or social media stuff, the only thing I use my phone for is Whatsapp, Manga, YT, Songs or games which I can not do cause my specs are shit.
I was thinking of either getting a cheaper phone with better specs (I doubt I'll find one cheaper than this for better specs) or getting a PTA patched Pixel 4xl again which I think will be cheaper than this. I could probably sell my Redmi for 40K or above since it's in perfect condition, has around 4-6 months of warranty left and has the box and all it's contents (the transparent case the phone came with is yellowed though)

Charlie was sitting in her room, gazing out the window at the darkening sky. The beautiful colours of twilight had become a dull grey like how she felt within. She hadn’t seen her parents in what seemed days, although the clock on the wall seems to indicate only a few hours ago. They appeared to be forgetting that Charlie was alive and it hurt more than anything else.
As she descended into the kitchen, her steps were marked by creaking wood, which gave way under her feet that were bare. Emma, her mother, stood with her back towards the entrance cooking supper. Charlie paused outside the door hoping for acknowledgement from her mother but received none. In the lounge Mark sat engrossed in his book, unaware of Charlie’s presence.
“Mom? Dad?” called out Charlie with a tremor in her voice.
No answer came forth. Inside anger boiled and frustration welled up inside her as she marched to the dining table and knocked over a glass sending it crashing onto the floor without even getting attention from them.
“What is wrong with you? Why don’t you see me?” She screamed through house walls.
Yet there was no response at all. She was boiling with anger and frustration. She went to the dining table and hit it up against a glass that fell on the ground, breaking into pieces.

My facial hair isn't even much, I hate that it's on me and yet I cant bring myself to shave it off. I think it's because it's like a mask that says "I'm totally a man!", and having to face the questions my family would have on exactly why I shaved it from everyone that isn't my mother. After I came out to my mom she bought me razors and a electrical shaver but I haven't gotten past that feeling that tells me to not do it despite REALLY wanting it gone.
I know the answer is to get over it and shave it regardless but I've been trying to do that for months, can't bring myself to try and transition especially where I live. And shaving doesn't even make you less of a man, really, but I've never shaved my facial hair in my life so it's hard to get myself to do it now. This came out more like a vent post so I'm marking it as such but I just needed to vent it out to something.

So I've been facing many issues from time to time with the audio driver , Mic and microsoft teams app. First issue i faced was the driver wasnt to my liking it produces a slightly low volume (with music) than my previous laptop which had Window 10 my current one has windows 11. Now when i log into teams for a meeting my Mic wont work sometimes but it will work by itself again when closed or when I restart my laptop. What is this ???? seems like it wasnt configured right ?

PM wash face with same cleanser as morning Toner pads (forgot name) Alternative each night between Cosrx snail 96 essence and Paula choice bha exfoliate and la roche posay b5 cream Cosrx all in one cream
Note- I’m going to try start Tretinoin I try going for facial every 2-3 months

I read lots of suggestions about them and finally got a cool one thins year from rage nation, to see what the hype was bout. First, it’s a killer fashion accessory. When worn like a draped scarf around the neck, it looks dope.
But there is something far more powerful about it. It’s essentially a modern take of a Bedouin shemagh or keffiyeh, a multi-use garment preferred by desert dwellers.
Which is exactly why it should be considered a required for edc. Here’s my story.
I usually stuff a lightweight windbreaker in my backpack. But this year I got the Insomniac hydro pack (nice) but it’s smaller and didn’t fit my windbreaker. But the pashmina fit.
So, over the weekend here’s how it made my life way better.
Early arrival means baking in the sun waiting in line. And still once inside, the sun is beating down on cosmic meadow. My pashmina protected me from the sun. I draped it over my hat and shoulders, giving me perfect coverage.
4 am Monday morning the breeze kicks up and it feels kind of cool. I felt a little exposed and fragile and making the long walk to the Yellow lot with nothing to cover up would have been uncomfortable. Whip out the pashmina, and it’s night and day. It provides just enough coverage and warmth to feel comfortable. Noticing everyone else walking out clutching their arms with nothing to warm up made me feel sorry for them and impressed with myself.
Finally, Monday afternoon a mini sandstorm kicked up around the south side of the strip. Walking from the parking lot to the hotel would be no issue because the pashmina can be easily wrapped around the face to block the dust - just like how they’re used by real desert people.
Something about the material, too. It’s always perfect temperature. It’s cool in the heat and warm in the cold.
Anyway, I’m a total convert. And since EDC is in a legit desert, a pashmina should almost be considered required. I will never attend another edc without one.
