Hey fellow and potential Bolt owners. I am selling my 2021 Bolt EV Premier in Slate Gray. I am moving across the country and closing on a property in CHI near end of June and staying at my in laws until then who are located in St Charles, MO. We will be heading out there next Monday and the car will be there shortly after.
I have to admit, this is a fantastic car. I love it. Though I won’t need it in CHI. A few things about the car, minor curb rash on rear passenger wheel and lower driver side door. She needs a bath For sure and is getting close to 30K miles. New battery under recall repair order done around 15K miles. I Bought it in Feb 22 and have thoroughly enjoyed it. Sale will include OEM charger. Clean title with no accidents.

2024.05.21 21:01 Cold-Efficiency-710 My mom is getting evicted and is in denial, what should I do?

Back in October of 2023 my mom was served a foreclosure notice because she didn’t pay the HOA. For context she is 54 (and a former Realtor) and I am 22. She immediately listed the house for sale but both buyers she had pulled out of the deal last minute. She decided for some reason to take the property off the market. Since then she has been in and out of jobs, having left for arguably dumb reasons (poor management, people raising their voice at her, etc). Of course she should be respected but in her position she didn’t really have the luxury to quit and be without work. Because I didn’t know when she was going to get evicted I moved out with my dog into my own apartment. I tried to tell her over and over that she needs to get rid of furniture and make the house look presentable. But she feels the need to hold onto everything because they’re family heirlooms. As a result she remains sitting in the house with it not being sold.
She has been working at a restaurant now that is close by (her car got repossessed). She barely makes enough for the cheapest rental in our area so obviously she has not been paying her mortgage or the HOA since she was served that notice. When I try to tell her she needs to be planning how she’s going to move out she claims that they “improperly served” her because her address is confidential but I explain that it doesn’t matter if she’s not paying to live there.
Anyways, this week she called to tell me someone changed the locks. When she called the sheriff they said that they had documents to evict her but she received something in the mail saying that said the auction sale didn’t go through. We called a locksmith and had the locks changed back but I reminded her that this is just a warning of what’s to come and she needs to have a plan of where she’s going to go. Of course she won’t have any money until the property gets sold either by her or on a foreclosure auction.
As I stated I am only 22. I live in a very small studio apartment and she is mentally unstable. I would be willing to let her stay with me for a few weeks until she finds a place but I worry that since she has no vehicle she would struggle to find a place to work. (My apartment is too far from her current job to bike to). I of course don’t want to tell her sorry go be homeless but at a certain point this can’t be my burden to bear. I gave her all of the possible advice months in advance but she chose not to listen. I love her and want to to what I can to help but there’s only so much I can do when I’m barely supporting myself and my dog.
I want to also mention that she has smoked weed and cigarettes for as long as I’ve been alive and her consumption has not stopped since all of these financial troubles despite me telling her it’s not helping her case. She claims she needs them to not lose her mind or for her “pain.”
I know this story is long and all over the place but if you stuck through to the end I would really appreciate some advice. Any advice from a realtoattorney would especially be appreciated.

Wanted to get reddit's opinion on my decision on two used cars to be used on a 26 mile round trip commute, errands and general going out adventures.
My priorities are as follows (in order):

Reliability (Believe Mazda wins here)
Sale Price (Ford: $11,000 Mazda:$14,000) Ford could also qualify for PHEV tax credit
Fuel Efficiency (Ford)
Interior Space and Features (Ford though the trunk space is horrid)
Looks (Tie imo)
Performance (Mazda)

Other factors:
There is 94,000 miles on the Ford and 68,000 on the Mazda.
Not sure of any battery degradation but planning to have a pre-purchase inspection done on the Ford. (Mazda private seller may allow for it)
Both look great from the exterior just minor scrapes. Although, the Mazda comes with 12 inch rims, low profile tires, an amp in the trunk and really dark tint. All of which I'd likely get rid of or replace.
Currently have $10,000 or so stashed away for the car specifically. The rest I would have to likely loan or I could dip into savings.
Let me know what your decision would be!

2024.05.21 20:58 rahrahrah4 Toast Operations Manager showing up as server for gift card sales/redemptions

The name “Damian Rosales” shows as a server for many of our gift card sales and redemptions. He is not found in our active or archived employee list. When I searched his name online I found a match that works for Toast in business operations.
I find this by going to Gift Card Transactions, enter a custom date for at least one month and I see the name listed in the Server column many times for transactions.
I have not been able to find that our sales are off on any reports but I just think it’s odd that his name is listed as a server for gift card transactions but no where else in our system.
This has been ongoing and customer care has not been able to provide an explanation.
Any thoughts on this?
One specific example of how odd it is: Guest check shows the actual server’s name and the gift card sale shows on that server’s sales summary for the day, but when I run the gift card transactions report the server’s name is listed as Damian Rosales for the transaction instead.
Maybe just a glitch but seeing if anyone else finds anything like this in reports.

My social media account was started for two reasons. Main one is I was and am being gaslight by everyone i’ve known throughout my life, friends, family, etc. They all have simultaneously acted as if they have no interest in speaking or knowing anything about me and actively made it seem as if I am self isolating myself from them.
The other was as a art journal/sketchbook were I post first drafts, sketches. A behind the scenes, not finished products. While I do have some art for sale & is a business account, its meant to be like the outlet/warehouse/home studio, open to the general public but a specific customer.
The main point is no one who doesn’t know me personally should be interested. Theres not enough of a cohesive theme, its a lot of writing, personal, etc. I spend on average 8 hours a day on social media, if I saw my posts or account I wouldn’t follow, like or comment, there’s no indication unless willfully ignorant that i’m looking for followers, comments or engagement similar to other accounts.
Simply put my account is for myself & those that want to stop child abuse. Thats it, if you’re not interested in me or stopping child abuse there’s really no reason to interact with me account.
However I constantly get people who come to my account to comment, follow & whenever I say to them that if they’re not interested in me personally or stopping child abuse they shouldn’t be on my account they then block or troll me as if I have no right to try to find help stopping child abuse or inquire why tf they’re so interested in me personally.
Thats what I want to solve but have not been able although I’ve tried various methods.
How would you communicate to someone who is liking a post from 2022 to inquire why/how they found & liked the post?
I have over 13k post, no matter how they got to the post every way I know of takes a lot of time, scrolling & effort. The post has few seconds of video & 2200 characters of writing. (Side note I have a gang of trolls that comment on my posts on other platforms that they can’t understand my writing & no one can although the only reason I’ve known people to follow my account is based on reading, understanding & liking my writing. )
So there’s this weird dichotomy in that I’m often praised for what I’ve written privately by some prominent individuals, trolled publicly as being incomprehensible, but both actively deny that I am in need of help & that’s the main purpose of my account.
Basically my plan to combat gaslighting in my personal life by having a public social media account it would seem no one would be pay attention to or interested in unless wanting to help me personally or stop child abuse generally has resulted in me getting gaslit by strangers who deny themselves or anyone is interested in or reads my posts although there’s many indications daily that people are so interested in my posts that they’ll like posts from years ago that generally take much effort to find.
I did everything I could to avoid this. Having random people liking my posts, saving, sharing them & i have no idea what anyone thinks or knows. Do they see the pinned posts on my account that are about abuse? Do they like/understand my writing, what did they like about the post? Why are people offended that I need help?
Its too weird & creepy & I have no idea what to do, on one extreme I have several people doxx & threaten me only to then ghost when I address their false accusations & then on the other extreme there’s people who actively try to deny & create a false narrative that no one knows or cares.
By now it’s obvious that I’m not the only one gaslit, there’s people that truly seem to have no idea whats going on & understandably don’t want to answer questions or get involved as they thought they were on a social media account like any other but its those people who I most need to know their opinion, how/why they found/liked a post from years ago, so that I can prevent it or address it from continuing to happen.
Marketing wise, for charities, needing help, the technique of having posts which require effort & investment of time by the audience shouldn’t backfire as it has informing the audience that the content they liked was posted to bring awareness & ask for help with other matters such as stopping child abuse. It should be “oh I can help or not”

2024.05.21 20:55 Plastic-Internet-569 Sales commission clawbacks

I work at a software company in sales where my total compensation is split 50% commission and 50% base salary. My commission is based on sales that I close and I am paid on signature of the deal.
In December I closed a deal for about $110,000 for which I was paid $22,000 in commission. Of that $22k I actually received a $12,000 paycheck, after taxes and healthcare. After I closed the deal, I went on maternity leave for four months. Now that I am back at work, I am being told that the account never launched with our product and the customer wants a refund, therefore the company is asking me to repay my $22,000 commission. They will be taking this amount from all my future paychecks until $22k is repaid. So I will in fact be paying them even more than I received.
I’ve looked in my offer letter and my compensation agreement and see nothing that gives them the right to claw back my commissions or even references this in any way. They sent me a presentation about this “clawback” process and the presentation was made yesterday, making me think they have never done this before and have no basis for this.
Is this legal? Do I need a lawyer ?

2024.05.21 20:51 HisSunshine3-9 Busy morning

Hi 😁 Just got home from running around all morning. I got up, took R to the bus stop, came home and immediately was on the phone with a client for an hour 🤦🏼‍♀️. Rushed to take a shower and get to my massage appointment with my favorite chic. She did EXTRA AWESOME today. Ran to the office. Had to go fix someone else's insurance and now I'm finally home with a few hours to myself before I have to get up and go pick R up. I had a taco for lunch. I'm soooooo beyond ready for a nap. I'm still tired from yesterday. I got a little pink, but it's tan now.
R had his 3rd swim lesson yesterday. He is showing huge improvement, but I think yesterday kicked his ass. She worked him hard. He has now been introduced to 3 out of 4 strokes. Butterfly is last. So far he seems to be the best and backstroke and isn't too bad at breast stroke for only doing it one time. We are skipping next week, because the lady didn't want to do a lesson on Memorial Day so he will go back again the week after and then I believe he's done with it. I'm not sure if he's going to stick with it, that's what this trial is for. I think he could be really good at this though. He's like me. Naturally well rounded at anything he tries. Not necessarily the absolute best, but reeeaaalllly good. I think he could be a track superstar if his head was in it. I couldn't believe the shit he was doing.
I am on a mission for a big citrine cluster rock to add to my table. I have been finding some pretty cool pieces but I don't wanna pay the ridiculous prices. If I keep it up I'm gonna need a bigger table.
Omg the tax lady just called me back. I got THE best news ever. I am getting a refund instead of having to pay. AND she said she going to go back and redo my last TWO years of taxes and I will get a refund AND get back all the money I paid in. So at the end of it all I will probably get back over a 10k check. I am soooooo relieved about this. I should have found her years ago. She said there were so many things he fucked up and wasn't making sense AND she said I can claim all those medical bills and even the sales tax on my car! Like holy shit. Why the hell didn't anyone else tell me that? The good news is that I will get this refund soon. The amendments might take 6 months but you know what? That is perfectly fine by me. I can track it and then wake up one day with a huge chunk in my account. I knew something was sketchy about paying in all that money when I was filing single, head of household with a dependent and all of those write-offs. I just didn't know where else to go and who else to trust. Thank God the dude in my office recommended me to her. I am keeping her forever! I just have to dig up a few papers but that's fine too. I am almost positive as to where I have everything. Soooooooooooo stoked 😁😁😁
On that note, I need to nap like I said I was going to. I miss you something fierce and I love you beyond measure or explanation. I will talk to you soon, my love. 😘😘 Always and forever, I love you more.

I'm on a road trip about a thousand miles from home in my 2017 Sonata. When I pulled into my parking spot at the hotel yesterday, and parked it, everything seemed fine. When I came back out ~45 minutes later, there was a pool of ATF under and in front of my car. I would've tracked it on my shoes had it been there earlier, so I know it was from mine. I got ahold of the local Hyundai dealership, and had the car towed there. This is where the trouble really starts.
When I purchased the car, I was told and reassured very distinctly, and repeatedly by both the sales and the finance guy, that the 120k miles powertrain CPO warranty started at the mileage I purchased it at. I purchased it at 14k miles, so the powertrain would be covered through 134k miles The dealership I am at for service denies that this is a thing that was ever done by Hyundai and their affiliates. Unfortunately my paperwork is in a safe ~1000 miles away, so I cannot check it and or dispute what they are saying. Is there anyone that can point me in the right direction, or that has a similar warranty to this? Right now it seems like they're trying to take me for a ride.

I’m in the US. This will sound weird but I am 28 and have never owned / bought / rented a car. I of course know how to drive and have a license, but I moved to a big city when I was 18 and never needed a car. Now I am back in the suburbs and need to buy a car.
So I have very good credit and a long relationship with my bank which pre-approved me for a 69k loan. I am looking at a 2024 Kia Soul from a local dealership that is listed on my bank’s auto page. The Kia is about ~22k and I will be making ~380$ monthly payments for 60 month term, at ~6.5 apr, with 5k down. All of this I am okay with and actually prefer because I trust my bank a lot more than a random dealership sales person.
So my main question is that I am planning to go to the dealership directly this weekend. What can I expect? I know I will ask to test drive the car, but do I just come out and immediately show my pre-approval letter? Will the dealership itself have to do any of their own finance checks (income, credit, etc) — or is that just a tactic to get me to use their financing? I am just very nervous of getting fucked over. So, I’ve got my website all together, products on, etc and I ran about maybe $15 in paid ads got 500+ site views but no sales, I know this is probably pretty standard for a new store, but am I trying to replace too big of companies by having such a wide variety store? Do I need to re-do everything and create my own brand around the product I find? I am also struggling heavily to find a good product that solves an issue or offers some sort of value to my customer, I don’t like how cheap everything is on aliexpress etc? Using DSers and CJdropshipping to fulfill my items and using them to find them, but I am really struggling to properly understand what I need to do to build real success to replace my 9-5. My thoughts are I need to pay for a service like Zendrop or another one that shows actively selling items, find something good, and make the site and brand around the product, and pay a good website builder either on Fiverr or like star storez to build me a selling store so all i have to do is create good ads and post them. TikTok denied my business registration as I gave them the only paperwork I had when I registered it with the CRA?? Everything to do with dropshipping is pissing me off on another level

Currently applying for a more senior role in a private equity backed IT firm. I like the role more than my current Customer Success role although role is still under Customer success umbrella.
Current company: dinausaur- old,very old;public;global in reach;triple to quadruple size of the prospective new company.high pay, great OTE good benefits. i didnt get any salary adjustment this year because 1)group retention number is not high enough 2)new manager says im already on the highest peak of my salary grade.
New manager is too early to assess, ex colleague who got promoted.previous manager is almost 20 years in company, she was the one who hired most of the team members, she left suddenly.the ex boss, her boss and the VP lead of the entire Customer success org, 3 levels up basically left in the past 18 months.all these VPs have worked more than 15 years in the company.
All new leaders from execs all less than 2 years in role- CRO, Ops Vp and CS leader, seem good, but has repeated history of trimming the fat of any org they take over, internally or where they used to work.Earnings show company is negative p&l for 4 or 5 quarters now, high opex mainly due to high cogs which is mainly sales salaries because we are technically like SAAS.growth is less than 4pc annually. CS team is fully remote but many other employees outside CS are being called back to office.Company seems bleeding, current ratios are getting red.stock chart is a descending ladder since going public after being private, which it was forced to do after mega restructurinh. Originally public in the 00s then went private then public now, layoffs are part of the culture.there are Hundreds of long term employees with decades of tenure.they have also started outsourcing their key service overseas.Upcoming department change, CS teams are getting assigned less accounts, one group will be converted from dedicated enterprise to pooled/low touch CSM approach by Q3. Also rolling out a new automated client success software. Company is putting out fires and new peoducts continiously, has an established and solid brand but has attracted lots of legal battles that claimed it is fraudulent.I cant shrug the feeling our CS team will get laid off given more than half are assigned to low revenue or non performing account segments after a new GTM was designed but not yet launched. There are many others doing my job, im not a leader, and career progression is a question mark, possibly lateral but not leadership unless a major overhaul happens.when a VP position opened, they claimed hundreds applied, and more than a dozen were internal.they hired external and promoted 2 to supervisory roles but doing so added reporting layer to 20 other individual contributors who prebiously reported to a vp and now just reporting to a director.
Prospective company: old brands plus new IT niche products, private equity backed, kinda dropped hints that salary is a bit lower than my current range though the advertised wage is within my target. Given the hints they might get to match or even up the nasic salary but may not even come close to my current ote.as per linkedin people are mostly recent hires 3 years or less, company is undergoing rebranding and trying to get second or third wind, fully remote.their brands are old so they are fighting to be more modern, competitive and relevant, something I had multiple experience with from my previous companies which digitized, cloud migrated and converted evergreen to subscription based offerings. prospective companu is backed up by private equity,so have no sales or revenue figures to review. i have no idea what happens if they suddenly get dropped or sold.
with all the lay offs going im worried that if I am new in any org i get more proned to get laid off, but i really love the role described, and i have this gut feel i will enjoy the challenge whereas my current role in my present job is day by day diminishing our client success value,by no longer doing dedicated CS engagements as we move to low touch.
No one seems safe from possible lay offs, what would you do if you were in my shoes?

Highlights: - website says 7ish day delivery. Took over 5 weeks. - quality is abysmal. For “$80 on sale for $40” even the latter is way too much. - the colt doesn’t work unless held at a complete upright state for me, you cannot aim it up or down or it won’t shoot. - the colts bullets are prone to breaking constantly and need to have the springs reset or they won’t even go into the cylinder. - 80% of the time the bullets wouldn’t fire anyway, theyed just jam in the barrel. - the ejection rarely properly gets all the casings out. You’ll be sitting there hitting eject and one or two just won’t get out. - the Glock style one had feed failures so it would just jam if you try to shoot it more than once or twice. - customer service was pretty rude and their sneaky refund policy basically guarantees you can’t get a refund unless you cancel the second the order is placed.
Trash 0/10 experience.

Hi, I'm looking to create a small retail pilot and I'm wondering if MailChimp can help. Ideally, I would have a unique QR code for each sales associate in a store. They present my service to the customer and if they are interested, the customer can scan the QR code and go to a simple MailChimp landing page where they fill out their name and email address. The customer would receive an email with a link to sign up for the service (with an additional bonus offer for signing up in store).
I would like to track how many customers signed up in store by each individual QR code AND tie it to any customers that signed up for the service to compensate the sales associates accordingly. Can MailChimp do this?
