2024.05.19 12:37 Hour_Training_832 Legit Shiny Wishmkr Jirachi using ACE and RNG to find!
| Hey Everyone, Right now I’m on a journey to try and get as many Legendary and mythical Pokemon as I can that are currently locked behind the 3DS wall outside of paywalled Pokemon Go. I have already Completed Pokemon Blue to obtain a Shiny Mew, and Pokemon Silver to get a Shiny Celebi, however now it was time to tackle Pokemon Emerald to get a Shiny Deoxys and Jirachi! Shiny WISHMKR Jirachi :) To do any of this, I have to start a fresh copy of Pokemon Emerald so I can RNG all of my encounters. If you are unfamiliar with them, please check out I'm a Blissey, or Papa Jefe to get familiar, but I’m sure most people are atleast semi familiar in this subreddit. They can explain it way better than I can since this is the first time I have ever RNG’d anything in a game. In layman's terms though I chose Pokemon Emerald for a couple reasons, firstly, because it has all of the legendaries in it, and access to Deoxys on birth Island, and secondly, because unlike Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire, Pokemon emerald starts on advance or seed 0 everytime you start it up, so it’s very easy to identify how many advances (time) the game needs to hit a shiny frame, since each PID and SID combination has a certain amount of shiny spreads that are available to them in a given game. This means, through normal shiny hunting means, Pokemon Emerald is probably one of the worst games to shiny hunt in, but from an RNG standpoint, it's one of the best! Video Version of this here - https://youtu.be/kJFrerrjL6s?si=9lOn46Ex-0thskSv With that semi brief explanation out of the way - it was time to start hunting for a shiny Mudkip, this took a long time to get, since this was the first time I had actually tried this, I had to keep going back to videos to learn how to calibrate correctly, if I was using the right timer setting in Eon timer etc… but after 8 hrs I finally found my Shiny Mudkip! I named It Jam, since I had recently done a shiny only playthrough of Pokemon Scarlet’s DLC and used a Shiny Mudkip named Jelly… so it only seemed fitting! Now I can start on my journey to beat the Hoenn region, along the way I catch a shiny Electrike that I named Blueberry, Aron named Strawberry, Poochyena named Marmalade, Numel named Blackberry, Trapinch named Boysenberry, and finally Bagon named Apple Buttr. Bagon I actually got on the second reset which surprised me. To beat the base game it took me about 17 hrs. Since I cleared the Pokemon League I decided to hunt a Shiny Beldum that I named Earl Grey, because I had found an Earl Grey Jam that someone had made lol. Now with the game finally complete it was time to start getting ready to create a Glitch pokemon so I could perform ACE that would allow me to get anything and everything I wanted in Pokemon Emerald! ACE SET UP Now it was time to start getting the necessary Pokemon to do this glitch, as there are 2 pokemon in the game that fit perfectly for what we need to get done, first I need a Ralts to trade for a Seedot in Rustboro city named Dots, and then a Volbeat for Pluses the Plusle in Fortree city. Once I have those I need to make clean backups using the battle tower cloning glitch in case I mess up, which is the main reason I had to do the whole game before starting on this glitch! Once I have all the clones set up it's time to start Prepping for Dekamark! Creating the Dekamark - Go Beyond Pluses Ultra! Papa Jefe’s video covers all the differences between each version of emerald, so what you need to do might be slightly different, since I’m playing an english copy of Emerald I EV train my Dots with 17 HP EV’s and 6 Attack EV’s and deleted all of Plusles moves besides growl using the move deleter. Once I have done that, I’m ready to initiate the glitch, I clone several copies of the changed Pokemon and put them in box two in a specific orientation that increases your success rate of getting a working glitch egg Pokemon. These are the following. Plusle slots: 13, 15, 17, 19, 21 Seedot slots: 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24 I now give my Shuppet 2 HP ups, because I need it's HP to be odd (if you do this you might only need 1, HP just needs to be odd) Then I went to Route 101 to catch a low level Pokemon, put it in my party with Shuppet, and a flying type Pokemon. This is where I save to make sure if anything gets messed up there is an easy reset point. After fainting the low level Pokemon on my team, I use curse with Shuppet to bring its HP to 1, now it's time to deposit my flying type Pokemon and use a pomeg berry on my shuppet. Since I’ve used two HP Up’s on this Pokemon once I use a pomeg berry it actually brings shuppet’s HP value below zero. With this done I engage into a battle, check the summary of a Pokemon, try the switch Pokemon hold up on the dpad for 5 seconds to go into the games memory cache to alter data that is going to allow me to get the glitched Pokemon egg. Once complete I go back to the battle screen and try to run, but it says I’ve fainted and returns me to the pokemon center, with a quick check of the now corrupted eggs that were plusle and dots before the glitch, I can see if it worked, unfortunately I had all bad eggs, I had to run this part about 7 times to get the Egg that I needed, a hatchable egg, named Dots in a Nestball. Once I found the egg I take an uncorrupted clone of Dots and put it in box 10 slot 19 thanks to Slepnir - https://pastebin.comSleipnir17 I then use a simple code to hatch the Decamark egg without the game crashing. Turning the dots into a glitched Decamark pokemon (this is dicey because you cannot hover over it, there's a couple more steps I needed to do, I needed to catch a Pokemon and name it x♂zN6FFxC and place this pokemon into Box 10 slot 20 next to the Decamark. Then exit the box and save, booting the game back up, and using another of Slepnir’s codes to finally have a stable Pokemon that we can use to execute code from anywhere! I also at this point used the E-Shark code generator to create a pokemon from nothing, and then turn it into an exit bootstrap Pokemon with another eshark code so that I can execute codes using 13 boxes instead of 14 boxes. https://e-sh4rk.github.io/CodeGeneratoindex.html Now it's time to RNG some Shiny Legendary Pokemon! I head off to catch the Regi’s, using the power of RNG I catch each of these in 3 attempts. The hardest part of getting them was actually catching them, so I went and found a shiny Shroomish so I could make the next set of Legendaries much easier to get! Luckily I found this one in 5 attempts on my shiny resets. Now there were 5 more Legendary Pokemon to tackle with Breloom, so I used the Box glitch to obtain the Eon Ticket, and catch a shiny Latias after 5 resets. But how was I going to obtain the other Lati? Since one is a roamer, and the other sits on this island? Well my little Decamark of course! I use it to respawn the Lati on the island, and then swap it with Latios! I caught this one after 3 Resets since It was calibrated from the battle with Latias previously, I was feeling pretty great about how good I was getting at RNG’ing encounters at this point in the game. It's definitely a front loaded effort to learn. With the Lati duo out of the way it was now time to go after the box legendaries from Generation 3, I started with Groudon which actually took quite a bit of time, I think 15 resets, because walking forward felt much different than pressing A. Fortunately Kyogre seemed much easier, probably because i was used to moving to engage the battle so hitting the right shiny frame became much easier. Finally, one of the best shinies that's ever been released… Rayquaza. I was able to hit this Pokemon’s shiny frame after only 3 resets and seeing its shiny form gets me excited every single time. Seriously one of my favorites. With the Legendaries down, I was feeling really great about my progress, however it was now time to move forward to the Mythical pokemon. Deoxys was up first, with a quick Decumark code, I gained access to Birth Island, and after a little trouble with the puzzle on the island. I got Deoxys with 4 resets to find one of the coolest shiny Mythical Pokemon. I also decided to snag Mew, which even though the English Mew on Faraway island isn’t legit, I wanted to still grab. This one actually gave me a little more difficulty, but after 18 resets and finding the right shiny frame I finally got it! Now I have every single Legend and Mythical in Pokemon emerald besides Jirachi… But how the heck was I actually going to get Jirachi? This Pokemon only has 9 Shiny frames that are legitimate - https://www.irccloud.com/pastebin/rdxEbTm4/ and anything outside of that would be flagged as hacked or illegal.. So now the Journey starts for obtaining a complete legitimate Jirachi. I start by changing my Trainer ID to the ID that Wishmkr Jirachi has to be by using Esharks code generator to make a box spread that changes my ID to the desired number 20043, once thats complete I now have to change my Secret ID to 0 which is the required Secret ID spread for a legitimate Wishmkr. We have to check to see if this works however, so before I do the change I catch a Pokemon and Nickname it KFC, change the SID by using Eshark Codes Generator again with my glitch Pokemon. Then go to the name rater to see if it allows me to change its nickname, and thankfully it didn’t so we were successful changing Our Secret ID. Now there was only one thing left to do. Change our Actual name to Wishmkr. We can do this by using Slepnir’s Box code which changes our name to whatever we enter into box 5. Use our Dekamark glitch pokemon again and now I am the WishMkr! (you will need to you use Wayback machine with Slepnir’s Pastebin 3 otherwise you will not be able to view it) With all of my prepwork is done, It was time to finally start hunting a Jirachi.. So I use a box code to create a custom outbreak of Jirachi on any route that I want. I very quickly head over to the route I spawned the mass outbreak on, and encounter a Wurmple… Well that didn’t work, so I found another Massive mass outbreak code to use, but the pokemon only spawn on Mirage Island, So I firstly need to spawn Jirachi’s on Mirage Island. And then with one more code I finally spawned Mirage island, now I just needed to see if it worked.. I flew to Pacifidlog town and thankfully Mirage island had spawned, I just needed to see if Jirachi’s outbreak had worked this time, and Thankfully it had! Now I just needed to find the PID of a Legitimate Shiny Wishmkr Jirachi, I looked for 12hrs but couldn’t find a legitimate Pokemon with the correct PID that would work for Jirachi.. So what do I do, was I screwed? Shiny Wishmkr Jirachi was the only reason I even started down the path for Gen 3…all the other Pokemon besides Deoxys can really be caught in newer games…. things were not looking good. Then I found a Reddit post about someone performing this glitch as well that solved my issue... Essentially the spread I was looking for didn’t exist. I needed to use a Synchronize Pokémon with the nature I was looking for, which happened to be serious, and use method 1 in PokeFinder. I also needed to use the PID to IV calculator and then after doing this I FINALLY found the right PID for a legitimate shiny WISHMKR Jirachi… Word of advice, if you plan on doing this, don’t do it the way I did, because the only thing that separates Wynaut, which is the Pokemon we switched out Jirachi for in the mass outbreak for, is the level the Pokemon spawns at, so I couldn’t tell if I was 1 frame off, or 100 frames off. I would use Eshark’s code to change the species of the pokemon that is the correct PID like Cooked Fish meat did, or just freeze the frame on the seed before and then use sweet scent to get your encounter… . Thankfully after riding the struggle bus for about another 8 hrs hunting this Pokemon I finally found a shiny! And even though this was a struggle, it was super satisfying to see shiny Jirachi show up on our screen, as this Pokemon at this point had taken about 60 hrs to see… Now there was only one problem left…this Pokemon still shows its caught in the wrong game, Shiny Wishmakr Jirachi can only come from Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire, Thankfully using a Eshark generator code to change the pokemon’s encounter data to make it be from the correct game. Now the Jirachi shows it was encountered in Littleroot town at level 5, and with a quick change back to my Original Trainer ID and Secret ID This Wishmkr Jirachi shows it was encountered in a fateful encounter, which is the flag this Pokemon needs to have to be considered a legitimate Pokemon. The Last Step! I needed to check to see if this Pokemon was actually considered Legal in PKhex, since PKhex apparently has better legitimacy checks then Pokemon does, and thankfully after porting in my save file I can see that I have finally created a Shiny WISHMKR Jirachi, that was encountered in fateful encounter in Pokemon Ruby. I’ve done a lot of shiny hunts, legal shiny hunts. And I have to say that RNGing this Shiny Jirachi was one of the most difficult things I’ve attempted. Partially because I did it the hard way, but also because the Pokemon isn’t supposed to be easy to obtain. I was so thankful to finally snag this! With this complete I did some more competitive hunting and beat Japanese emerald to send a legit shiny mew up to Pokemon Scarlet and Violet as well. I believe there is only one more game I can so like I did this game, which I am super excited about completing in the near future! submitted by Hour_Training_832 to pokemonrng [link] [comments] |

| Hey all! I’m following im a blisy’s video on TID/SID RNG manipulation for Pokemon Platinum to get a specific spread for shiny Darkrai, and I’m getting very stuck! At 4:28 when he copy’s the PID to get information about the TID/SID from the ID generator tab in Pokefinder, when I go to enter that information myself I’ve found that my version of Pokefinder has ZERO options for PID in this window - picture attached. Any suggestions on what to do? https://youtu.be/dyp1I6w6JVw?si=CXIgz2IywMZI0h5Y submitted by typical12345 to pokemonrng [link] [comments] |

As the title says, I wanted to ask for help with Renegade Platinum E4. Box 1 is the mons that have good IVs or that I know are good for the E4. Things to point out: -Luvdisc is Swift Swin but has atrocious IVs. -Blaziken has Blaze, not Speed Boost, and average IVs. -Cleffa has God-like IVs with 25+ all around. -Sharpedo is Swift Swim and has good IVs, same as Relicanth. -Arcanine has God-like IVs with 31 att and def and 19 speed. The five last mons are my current team:Pelipper for rain and slow(ish) switching with U-turn, Mantine with Water Absorb and Agility, Gliscor to sweep Bertha (yes, the four teams, I have calculated it), Steelix with over 350 defense and Togekiss to dish out good special damage. With Togekiss and Flamethrower, Glisscor and Steelix, i can more or less destroy all of Aaron teams, with some switches and maneuvering. Bertha as I said gets destroyed by +4 Gliscor and Earthquake/Fly and equipped with a Yache berry for the Mamoswine in case it uses Ice Shard, as I'm dead to a crit. And still I have Pelipper and Mantine in the back. Flint's team 1 and 4 get sweept by Mantine+Rain+Agility. (The same job can be done by Speed Boost Sharpedo, but I find Mantine more useful). Teams 2 and 3 are the ones that give me the most trouble, but still I think I can handle them. Lucian with my current team of five is the least clear, I've thought Froslass. She has really good IVs, is faster than every single pokemon on Lucian's team, and can one hit almost every enemy, (except Metagross and Bronzong), including the four leads, so no Screens. However, if I switch her in she dies to a crit almost every time (I can circumvent this with Pelipper's U-turn). Moreover, with Destiny Bond I have a save kill on any enemy.Cynthia is more or less also sealed, with sacs, one shots and good planning. Box 2 are Pokemon that I've deemed not so good/useful, but, of course, I'm open to suggestions. If you need anything just ask. Thank you a lot! submitted by howcanyoureadthis_ to nuzlocke [link] [comments] |
2024.05.18 21:34 trekkyy Improve performance for NDS games on android
I've been playin Pokemon for a long time and just discovered these RETRO ACHIEVEMENTS thing. And I REALLY wanna earn them for Platinum. But weirdly enough, I get BRILLIANT performance on Standalone Drastic emulator whereas REALLY awful performance on Retroarch(in both Desmume and MelonDS). I tried Standalone MelonDS emulator too, it had a bit better performance, but still unbearable. Could anybody help me out with it? Thanks. Another thing i'ld like to tell. My device is Samsung Galaxy m13 4G.

2024.05.18 20:39 1second2impact Help with damage calculator in HC Nuzlocke
I'm currently doing a HC Nuzlocke of Platinum and using Hzla damage calculator, but some enemy's team are missing or under another trainer name, i can manually insert the enemy's pokemon, their moves, but i don't know the ivs and nature for an exact calculation.
For me it would be okay too if there was a spreadsheet with the exact stats nature ivs and id manually insert them.
What i fear is that I might outspeed my opponent by a few points but if the enemy has a +Speed nature i might lose a valuable team member in a crucial fight, same applies for a move that would ohko by a small margin.

2024.05.18 11:21 Hour_Training_832 8F + Coincase = Shiny Mew and Shiny Celebi - First Time Using a Pokemon Glitch outside Missingno!
What’s up everyone!
I’ve recently been spending a lot of time in the older games since once Pokemon bank shuts down, there will be a ton of legendary and mythical Pokemon that are locked behind the paywall of Pokemon Go…
I saw a YouTuber named Trails Pokemon and they inspired me to set out on a journey to try and catch all the Shiny Mythical and legendary Pokémon in the older games, so I could have unique ribbons and markings on them! I really wanted to do all of this in hardware though so I decided to see what I could do to try and get my favorite mythical Mew, and Celebi shiny before they become incredibly hard to get if Game freak doesn't port these games to VC on the Switch / Switch 2 which I feel like if they were going to do they'd of done already.
https://preview.redd.it/slwixku8l51d1.png?width=2560&format=png&auto=webp&s=6581f56691739e071b6e5a055a8eea1065854194 The Set Up - Video Version
https://youtu.be/CmawneiP9L8?si=HVBLQnLEOssLTUlC I figured I’d start with the first two generations, Pokémon Red and Blue to get a shiny Mew, and Pokemon Gold and Silver to get a shiny Celebi. Both of these are awesome shinies, and I missed out on the Pokemon Go Masterwork research for them… so this was my only chance to get them. I was going to be working on doing the 8F Glitch, and the Coin case glitch to get them. I am pretty familiar with the Missingno glitch in gen 1 but that’s about the only glitch I’ve ever done until attempting this.
Thankfully I had already beat Pokemon Blue in a Hardcore Nuzlocke I had done earlier in the year. So I booted up my copy of Blue, and went to catch all of the legendary Pokémon, because if I’m making a transferable, good enough for Austin John Shiny Mew, I might as well make everything shiny right?
Once I caught the legendary birds, Mewtwo, and finally Mew, I then had to to some prep work:
Now I set up my party
- Mew
- Pidgey with 233 hp
- Parasect
- Onix
- Tentacool
- Arbok
Now it’s time to obtain my items I need for the 8F glitch, this uses Missingno, if you don’t know how to do the Missingno Glitch there are lots of videos. But briefly, if you speak to the catch tutorial man in viridian city, watch him catch Weedle, fly to cinnabar island and surf along the coastline you will encounter a Missingno among other Pokemon. M and Missingno are the two new needs. Whenever you encounter them they increase the item value by 128, so if you have 1 it would make it 1+128 or 129 in your inventory.
Items for 8F Glitch Now I needed to obtain a lot of items to get ready and prepped once we obtained 8F. Most of the items here can be purchased from Celadon city mart, PP UP can be obtained in celadon city in a block right outside of the city near the fake Pokemon center.
- 8F (we will obtain it later)
- Any item x89 (Missingno glitch, sell 40)
- Dire Hit x58 (Missingno glitch, sell 71)
- Iron x37 (Missingno glitch, sell 92)
- X Accuracy x119 (1 + Missingno glitch, sell 10)
- Water Stone x62 (Missingno glitch, sell 67)
- Burn Heal x50 (Missingno glitch, sell 79)
- Pokeball x43 (Missingno glitch, sell 86)
- Antidote x43 (Missingno glitch, sell 86)
- Protein x62 (Missingno glitch, sell 67)
- PP Up x60 (Missingno glitch, sell 69 (nice))
- Ice Heal x50 (Missingno glitch, sell 79)
- Lemonade x133 (5 + Missingno glitch)
- Great Ball x50 (Missingno glitch, sell 79)
- Fresh Water x34 (Missingno glitch, sell 95)
- TM01 any #
Once I have obtained all of these items, place them in your Pc. I make sure to clean my pc out of redundant items, because we need to make sure there is still room for one more item later to complete this. Now I put all of these items into my pc, along with my Masterball to keep it all safe.
Now I go buy an X special, and make sure I have 7 items in my inventory making sure to have a Masterball in slot 7. And my x accuracy in slot 6.
- Any item
- Any item
- Any item
- Any item
- Any item
- X special
- Masterball
Making sure I have a Pokémon with fly and surf in my party. Perform the Missingno glitch, once I encounter Missingno use X Special twice, use the Masterball to catch Missingno, and you should now have 255 X Special in your inventory.
With this part complete, now I move my X special to slot 3 in my inventory, and toss my first two items, this duplicates my X special. Now I start tossing stacks of X Special until there is only two scrollable spots in my inventory. Then I toss 253 specials which does some crazy things with my inventory, then swap item one with item 2 in my box, then swap them back. Now I had activated item under flow which is what I need to be able to obtain 8F.
Now I fly to Celadon city and go to the right, 1 step before the route changes. Now I toss my entire stack of X specials in slot 1, press select and pick the x special left, and scroll down into the item under flow until I find a nugget. The. I press select there to swap the nugget for the x special.
Now I walk 5 steps right, 5 steps down, and 20 steps to the right, press select on the first item, and scroll down into the item under flow, until I find 8F, press select and swap them. (This part is super sketchy. I was so worried I was going to crash my game and lose my save file here but we freaking did it!)
Now not touching anything in the menu and NOT using 8F I fly back to Cinnabar island, and deposit 8F into the pc, making sure to ONLY deposit 8F. Close the pc save, and reset my game. Now I have the 8F item! Huzzah!!
This is the first step but it felt so good to get this, it looks like the game is breaking while you’re doing this because it pretty much is lol, but if you follow the steps it works easily.
Now I deposit my x special and withdraw all of the items we set up earlier.
- 8F
- Any item x89
- Dire Hit x58
- Iron x37
- X Accuracy x119
- Water Stone x62
- Burn Heal x50
- Pokeball x43
- Antidote x43
- Protein x62
- PP Up x60
- Ice Heal x50
- Lemonade x133
- Great Ball x50
- Fresh Water x34
- TM01 any #
And setup my Pokémon I had prepared earlier:
- Mew
- Pidgey with 233 hp
- Parasect
- Onix
- Tentacool
- Arbok
Now with my party set up, and my items in the appropriate order (I checked like 12 times lol) I made my Mew from GF with the OT ID 22796. But this was only part one, now I needed to make it Shiny!
To set this up I needed to change everything around. I deposit my Mew into my pc into box slot one, moving all of my other Pokemon from the box mew is in into box 2 so I only had Mew in my Box 1.
I then go to the safari zone and catch a Kangaskhan.
With Kangaskhan on my team it now looks like this
- Pidgey with 233 current hp
- Parasect
- Onix
- Tentacool
- Kangaskan
With my party of avengers Pokemon assembled, now I needed to get my bag set up. This includes changing up lots of items. So I deposit unneeded items into my pc
Bag:
- Any item (any #)
- 8F
- Lemonade x170 (42 + Missingno)
- X Accuracy x178/177* (50 + Missingno)
- Carbos x218 (90 + Missingno)
- Pokeball x119
- Fresh Water x201 (73 + Missingno)
- *you use 8F then toss 1 accuracy and use 8F again
Now with everything set up, I go to my PC, double checking all of my items and my Pokémon team is correct. Then use 8F with 178 X Accuracy, drop 1 X Accuracy, and then use 8F again with 177 X Accuracy again. Now I check my Mew and all its stats have changed. And my HP stat goes beyond the hp bar but I fix this issue by going to nurse Joy and healing my Pokémon in the Pokémon center.
With this power in my hands, I then made my Articuno, Moltres, Zapdos, and Mewtwo Shiny. I also decided to make my Blastoise Johnathan shiny as well, which was my ace in my Nuzlocke run that died in the very last battle against Gary. I felt like it had earned its spot as a shiny that I could transfer to generation 9’s Scarlet and Violet.
Phewwwwwwwwwe generation 1 done… Now I need to do generation 2.. so I start out on a fresh copy of Pokemon silver and pick my boy Totodile (it's my fave starter so I of course have to pick it) name him Lyle and then proceed through the rest of the game to beat the Elite 4. During my journey from Littleroot town, I had a couple goals in this game.
- I need to get Shiny Celebi, and the 1/8192 encounter rate wasn’t the ticket, with an unknown end date to bank I needed to get it much sooner.
- Catch all of the legendary beasts shiny
- Get the legendary duo Ho-Oh and Lugia Shiny
- Make Lyle the Feraligatr shiny
Getting the Coin Case Glitch
Now I have actually never done any glitches in Pokemon Silver or gold ever so this will be my first attempt… I wipe the floor with Lance and my super OP Feraligatr. Then start setting up to get everything I need.
The first thing I snag is the namesake, the coin case. I go down into the underground in Goldenrod city and find the Coin Case that will allow us to actually perform this glitch. With Coin Case in hand, I head off to get TM27 Return from the Market top floor, this TM can only be gotten on Sunday though and if you have high friendship with the lead Pokemon, it's possible to change your date and time and it was a Thursday when I started to initiate this, so I changed my in game time and day so you don’t have to wait (
https://legendarypkmn.net/pass/) Then I went off to Then off to Ilex forest to get TM02 Headbutt.
With this done, it’s now time to set up my avengers team, so I catch a Wooper, and Evolve it into Quagsire. I teach it Surf so it knows 4 moves, then teach it TM 27 Return as its first move. Once complete I hand it TM02 headbutt to hold (Do not teach it Headbutt it should be a held item). Catch a flying Pokemon, which I ended up snagging one of my favorite regional birds HootHoot. And finally a slide pokemon. So I learned that a slide Pokemon is one with Low DV’s, low friendship and is low level. Through doing this glitch three times, the best Pokemon I found was catching a Bellsprout outside of Violet city, then trade it to someone in the city for an Onix named Rocky, this Onix works every time you run this glitch (for me it has anyways) and makes this harder part of doing the glitch easy.
Now it was time to get my change pokemon so I caught 6 pokemon on Victory road to use as my pokemon I’ll be changing. Multiple Golbats, Donphan etc.
Once complete this is what my party looks like
- Pokemon we are changing
- Flying Pokemon
- My Slide Pokemon in my case Rocky the Onix
- Quagsire with Return as its first move, and holding TM02 Headbutt
Using this guide on Bulbapedia I select the box layout that I need to have set up to run these codes to get my desired outcome. I figured I’d try with Celebi first.
https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Coin_Case_glitches I change my box to match for Celebi, fly to cherry Grove city and enter the Mart. Save the game, walk out of the mart taking 4 steps to the right, opening my pokedex on Bellsprout to hear its cry, then use the coin case after switching pockets in my inventory. It glitches out my game, but after I save it the issue is fixed.
Now my Pokemon in Slot 1 is extremely broken. If I encounter anything it looks like a Celebi, but on the menu it still looks like a Golbat.
With my broken Golbat I head over to the Daycare in Goldenrod and deposit my Pokemon, here you either pay a ton of money to get your Pokemon out, or 100 pokedollars. I found if you take one step down, then walk straight out, turn right back around and enter, he only charges you 100 Poke dollars, it worked several times when I did this so hopefully if you do this it does for you as well. Once I get my Golbat back it is now a Celebi! But its not legal to transfer to home… yet anyways.
I head to Blackthorn to delete all of my Celebi’s moves that it doesn’t know legitimately, and use TMs to teach it moves it does, if you didn’t nickname your Pokemon is actual name too I would use the name rater to change the name to whatever Pokemon you changed it too.
I then proceeded to do this Glitch multiple times to obtain:
Entei Suicune Raikou Ho-Oh Lugia Celebi (Tink) With all of the Pokemon I was looking for obtained now it was time to turn them shiny! So I use the Bulbapedia guide again change my box names to match those of changing the shiny pokemon,
https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Coin\_Case\_glitches. And keep my part composition the same.
- Pokemon we are changing
- Flying Pokemon
- My Slide Pokemon in my case Rocky the Onix
- Quagsire with Return as its first move, and holding TM02 Headbutt
Then run the coin case glitch again doing the same as above, this changes the Pokemon in slot 1 to its shiny variant! I do this multiple times, for all 6 legendaries, then to Feraligatr, and Nidoking as well. I love Nidoking shiny, it looks so freaking cool imo.
Now the last thing I needed to do was to get the Pokemon to the correct levels as a lot of these Pokemon are under the level cap that will flag as a legitimate Pokemon… so I run about 8 hrs of Elite 4 runs, and eventually get the Pokemon to the required level they need to be.
Celebi - Lvl 30 Entei - Lvl 40 Suicune - Lvl 40 Raikou - Lvl 40 Lugia - Lvl 40 Ho-Oh - Lvl 40 The fastest way to do this if I had to to do it over again, would be to change Pokemon I caught in Mount Silver, vs Pokemon on Victory Road, as Pokemon in Mt Silver are over 40, so all you would have to do is change the Pokemon itself, delete its moves, and then it would be ready to go.
Lyle the Feraligatr will live forever with me now in the current games, and so will all of these awesome legendary Pokemon.
With all of this work done, It was finally time to transfer these pokemon up to Generation 9, this was pretty time consuming. It took about 70-75 hrs to beat both games and perform the glitches / learn what I needed to do. But it was super rewarding to get them into Pokemon scarlet and Violet. The Coin case glitch is leagues easier than the 8F glitch as you can see, and way less stressful. I wasn’t worried about my game blowing up to smithereens lol. Especially with this being the first time I had ever manipulated a Pokemon game to get more out of it then just extra rare candies to level up my Pokemon
As far as the future holds, Gen 3 and Gen 4 have some opportunities as well so I will be looking at those games next! Cannot wait to get going on them!

2024.05.18 05:13 thesarcasmisreal Need help getting Cisco E1000 Router to connect to the internet
So recently I have gotten into playing some of the old pokemon Games (Platinum and Soulsilver specifically) these games need a wifi connection that has no password to work, so therefore I needed either a hotspot with no password, or an of the time router. I bought a Cisco56985 (E1000 Model) to connect but it’s failing to function properly. I can’t change its IP settings like I need to because it won’t connect to the internet. I have connected the router’s internet port to the modems LAN 1 port as instructed, and reset both to see if that works, but neither of those connected the router to the internet as needed. I get a pink screen saying “401 Unauthorized” when I try and type the IP address in the search bar. I’m not very good with this kind of tech, and I’d really appreciate if someone could help me set it up.

2024.05.18 04:35 Notmas Dark Celebi vs Virus Groudon
Seeing as these are the two nightmare kaiju from the Pokemon movies, I'm shocked no one has pit them against eachother before. Let me set the scene for the two combatants:
Dark Celebi is a Celebi that was captured in a Dark Ball, which automatically corrupts the mind of the Pokemon as well as gives them a somewhat unclear but obviously massive power boost. Due to the corrupted mindset, instead of protecting the forest Celebi immediately goes on a rampage tearing it up and creating this massive "armour" of sort made out of sticks and dead foliage. Notably it doesn't appear "angry" like all the other Pokemon that got captured in the Dark Balls, instead moreso seeming in a daze barely reacting when people tried to get close. It was defeated by Celebi coming to it's senses.
Virus Groudon is a corrupted clone of Groudon which was created using a mixture of "human greed" and power from a comet that was stated to be capable of sustaining an entire ecosystem for a thousand years. During the movie it was shown to be completely unflinching to attacks thrown at it from a ton of different Pokemon, including powerful blasts from a Salamance. It also has tentacles which seem to have minds of their own, moving through dense foliage to catch their prey and pull them back to the main body. Unlike the main body, these tentacles can be destroyed quite easily. It was defeated by "reversing the polarity" of the machine used to create it, hitting it with the power gathered from the comet alongside Jirachi's power, which sent it into the sky where it exploded.
On one hand, Dark Celebi is an actual mythical pokemon enhanced several times over, but on the other hand Virus Groudon clearly showed more destructive capabilities in the movie itself, and is also several times larger then the giant stick monster Celebi made. I could honestly see this fight going either way, largely depending on how you define the power of the Dark Ball, as well as how strong mythicals actually are within the anime universe. Certain ones like Mew and Hoopa clearly show a lot of power, but others like Celebi and Jirachi often seem threatened by regular pokemon and never show off many impressive feats. Pretty sure literally the only thing anime Jirachi ever did was teleport, a power it shares with frickn' Abra. It also seemed to get hurt by being pulled on by Brock and May, which seems to imply it's extremely weak. Celebi does show some power, namely it's time travel and nature based powers, but it also never really does anything physically impressive. Aside from the bad guy of the movie believing Celebi to be strong, there's no real reason to think that they are.

2024.05.18 02:45 CatholicGoth627 Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl Love
I just restarted BDSP for the first time in over 2 years and am really enjoying the game again. I admit after playing through it twice upon release it definitely wasn't my favorite game and I completely understand why it's low on many people's list of Pokemon games.
It's still low on my own list but I'm having a blast replaying it so far, and I think there are things about it that are very endearing, such as not having to use HM's, following Pokemon, and being able to catch nearly every Pokemon from the first 4 generations. Does anybody else still play or enjoy these games even though they lack all the features that make Platinum great?

2024.05.17 13:58 Gangiskhan Artist #96 Post Malone
Bio from The Festival Voice Artist Biography by Daniel Karasek
Post Malone, aka Austin Post, is a diamond-certified hitmaker of both rap and mainstream pop. He was raised in Dallas and wanted to join a band as a kid thanks to the video game Guitar Hero. However, he changed his mind and wanted to become an MC after his dad gave him a copy of Terror Squad’s “Lean Back.” Post Malone hung out with the Dallas crew IRAS until he relocated to Los Angeles. He put some braids in his hair and dropped the track “White Iverson” in 2015 which got a million views within a month. He signed with Republic later that year. In 2016, he released his debut album Stoney which featured artists including Justin Bieber, Quavo, and Kehlani. The album peaked at number four on the Billboard 200 and would later go multi-platinum. Following this album, Post Malone released two chart-topping singles “Rockstar” with 21 Savage and “Psycho” with Ty Dolla $ign. Combined, these singles went 13-times platinum and became part of his second album Beerbongs & Bentleys which discussed Post Malone’s rise to fame and the trappings that came with it. The album was nominated for Album of the Year at the 2019 Grammy Awards. Before his next album, Post Malone did the pop single “Sunflower” for the Spider Man: Into the Spider-Verse soundtrack which became over 50-times platinum certified worldwide. His next hit “Wow” came later in 2019 helping put Post Malone in the Hot 100’s. The single was part of his third album Hollywood’s Bleeding which featured Da Baby, Future, Halsey, Meek Mill, Lil Baby, SZA, Travis Scott, and even the legendary Ozzy Osbourne. The album topped the Billboard 200 for five non-consecutive weeks. In 2020, Post Malone did a cover of Hootie & the Blowfish’s “Only Wanna Be with You” for the Pokemon 25 album. The next year he released his fourth album Twelve Carat Toothache which featured Doja Cat, the Kid Laroi, Roddy Ricch, the Weeknd, and Fleet Foxes’ Robin Pecknold. In 2023, Post Malone released a hits collected called The Diamond Collection which was followed by his latest album release AUSTIN the same year.
