I noticed Legion Slim 5 Gen 9/83ex000aus) had has a 4070. Browsing the store, this laptop had equivalent or even superior stats compared to more expensive non-slims/83df00anus) (particularly in the GPU rankings).
There is a caveat: The slim used an AMD CPU as opposed intel. I noticed other slim laptops made similar tradeoffs: better GPU in exchange for AMD.
Is the intel CPU superior enough to warrant a downgrade to a Nvidia 4060? I'm also a little wary of buying a slim due to cooling concerns. By the way, I am very inexperienced when purchasing laptops so if anything here makes no sense it all that's probably why.

Ok so here's the rant after a LOT of research.
Having been a loyal Vistara customer for years, the email from CV feels like a break-up text from your girlfriend who is about to get married to someone else - "main hamesha tumhari dost rahoongi" :D :D
So here's a lowdown of what's going to change. Club Vistara had already revised the tier renewal criteria in March 24 (disappointment but ok given explosion in travel), but that is nowhere near what Air India's Flying Returns asks for, or gives you back in return.
Here's for Gold Tier:
Other privileges are pretty much same - Air India gives you 20kg extra baggage allowance in the Gold Tier but if you're expected to fly 5 times a month on business trips (an era of Zoom and Teams meetings), what use is it unless you are smuggling gold.
And if you're flying enough to be in the Platinum tier (90 flights), suggest you ask your company to get a private jet, if not, they should be making you fly Indigo or Spice because of the dent you're making in their bottomline.
The sad part is that there is no full service competition or loyalty programme for Vistara or Air India to bother about (read Jet), and in a country where the food standards authority would rather change the criteria for carcinogenicity rather than enforce food quality, all you can do is grin and bear it.
Long story short, for CV members, enjoy the last few months of this courtship - travel as much as you can and enjoy the privileges!

The context of this post is you flashed away your recovery and your system partitions. You're on Linux, like me, or you're on a version of Windows that has the drivers already installed. TWRP is currently not compatible with new firmware or anything beyond android 10 (please correct me if I'm wrong). Given that TWRP is out of date and hasn't been updated since 2022, we'll have to use adb and fastboot only. (If there are other tools from oneplus that make this easier please let me know).
Though I did write these, I did use chatgpt to write this with bullet points and fix any typos I had in my original instructions.
Consider this a draft. If I learn more, I'll update this here, unless a mod removes this post for some reason, I'll just post this on another sub or make my own oneplus 6t sub.

Unfortunately, I’m in a position where I really don’t think I can continue this relationship for 3 reasons:
1. He told me he doesn’t compare the two relationships and I try to do so (I know comparison is the thief of joy) but I genuinely don’t get how and why he could want to be with me. Is he using me? Maybe. Am I just a placeholder? Probably. I don’t talk about those insecurities with him because he never did anything but be a good partner. I know these are my own issues to deal with and I certainly don’t want to bother him with those. 2. He is so out of my league. Listen, I know physical attractiveness is not everything but there are some limits. To give you an idea, she was the typical blond hair, model body, blue eyes and what not. He is tall, blond and in shape. They looked like Barbie and ken. I’m 5’2 and a little chubby (150 lbs) I have glasses and a small French accent when I speak English (I sometimes look like an idiot). We also have opposite personalities. She was an extrovert, lots of friends and was in general very “popular”. She reminds me of myself when I speak French (language barrier is crazy). I also LOVE being ALONE. My career is in research so I guess you can call me a lab rat. Anyway all of this to say that this relationship doesn’t make sens. Yes we have the same humor and are always having fun but I just know I’m a downgrade. Like how disappointing is that. I know his wife and him were in a group of friends together (he still talks to them frequently) and it’s just a lot of things I can’t relate to. 3. I feel really guilty for his wife. He tells me a lot about her and she’s the type of person I admire and wish I was more. She deserved the world and I feel like it’s unfair that I get to have those things. Maybe I’m just crazy but even if marriage is a subject my bf talked about with me, it’s not something I could go through. In my eyes, she is his wife (I always refer her as such when talking about her). He talked about how he would love to have kids but I just cannot do it. My old payment method expired and the Brightspeed website wants 13 different third-party cookies to update payment information...it is really unbelievable...especially for an ISP who should have security at top-of-mind.
Anywho, yada yada yada, chatted with rep, updated payment expiration date, and am then told that I need to move to their New, Upgraded Fiber line. That my account had a "downgrade tag" (those words exactly) and that I would see more reliable uptime and speeds by upgrading.
I was a former CenturyLink customer when Brighspeed bought them. I explained to the rep that I was getting 940 up&down currently with 99.9% uptime. I use a Firewalla Gold firewall device as my modem (ONT > Firewall > Switch) and was just thinking, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."
She ignored what I said about my uptime & speeds and pushed a $200 Prepaid Mastercard promotion on me if I would agree to swap. The "swap" includes new credentials, a technician coming to my house and installing a new modem (again, I don't use their modem now...it's not even plugged in) and of course I'm worried I'll have worse speeds and/or uptime and that I'm might not be able to configure the new system to use the PPPoE-type credentials I currently use to bypass their modem/router combo.
So, can anyone help me understand why they're pushing 'new accounts' on current customers? I find it hard to believe that they've laid new fiber in my 5 year old neighborhood. The rep had broken English and was simply reading from a script. I can't fault her for not having all the answers to my questions, but in short, I declined her offer to make any changes at this point.
I crossposted to Brightspeed but as they have less than 400 members, I'm doubting I'll get firm answers there.

Maybe. Am I just a placeholder? Probably. I don’t talk about those insecurities with him because he never did anything but be a good partner. I know these are my own issues to deal with and I certainly don’t want to bother him with those. 2. He is so out of my league. Listen, I know physical attractiveness is not everything but there are some limits. To give you an idea, she was the typical blond hair, model body, blue eyes and what not. He is tall, blond and in shape. They looked like Barbie and ken. I’m 5’2 and a little chubby (150 lbs) I have glasses and a small French accent when I speak English (I sometimes look like an idiot). We also have opposite personalities. She was an extrovert, lots of friends and was in general very “popular”. She reminds me of myself when I speak French (language barrier is crazy). I also LOVE being ALONE. My career is in research so I guess you can call me a lab rat. Anyway all of this to say that this relationship doesn’t make sens. Yes we have the same humor and are always having fun but I just know I’m a downgrade. Like how disappointing is that. I know his wife and him were in a group of friends together (he still talks to them frequently) and it’s just a lot of things I can’t relate to. 3. I feel really guilty for his wife. He tells me a lot about her and she’s the type of person I admire and wish I was more. She deserved the world and I feel like it’s unfair that I get to have those things. Maybe I’m just crazy but even if marriage is a subject my bf talked about with me, it’s not something I could go through. In my eyes, she is his wife (I always refer her as such when talking about her). He talked about how he would love to have kids but I just cannot do it. Again, maybe it’s the guilt but I just feel like she’s the one who should be in my place.Anyway I know it’s a lot of text haha I apologize. He is the one who made me believe in love. He tells me a lot about her and she’s the type of person I admire and wish I was more. She deserved the world and I feel like it’s unfair that I get to have those things. Maybe I’m just crazy but even if marriage is a subject my bf talked about with me, it’s not something I could go through. In my eyes, she is his wife (I always refer her as such when talking about her). He talked about how he would love to have kids but I just cannot do it. Again, maybe it’s the guilt but I just feel like she’s the one who should be in my place.Anyway I know it’s a lot of text haha I apologize. He is the one who made me believe in love. Manages to climb above $1M again and push past $15MStill heading for a $4.5M(-60%) 2nd weekend. Audience Figures: WoM figures: Maoyan: 9.0 , Taopiaopiao: 9.2 , Douban: 6.5 Initial opening weekend gender split leaning Male with around a 59-41 split. Women have however rated the movie higher by quite a big 0.5 point margin. Age wise its a somewhat balanced split all the way from the early 20's to the 40+ crowd. Ratings wise however its a U shape curve with younger people and older people rating the movie higher while the late 20's early 30's have generaly rated it lower.
The Last FrenzyThe Last Frenzy puts in another good day. Drops to 2nd against the new release but could jump back ahead as early as tomorrow.Weekend projections yesterday however were way too optimistic. Age brackets wise it remains dominated by the 20-30 brackets but also has a significant portion of older brackets pulling 15%. It remains almost non existent with under 20's which make up just a 2-3% margin. People in their 30's have rated the movie the best.
Twilight of The WarriorsTwilight of The Warriors remains behind The Last Frenzy and loses some more ground to it.Weekend projections also downgraded from $5.9M(-25%) to $5.34M Audience Figures: After the 2nd weekend Twilight of the Warriors remains faily highly rated. I imported two audios, both are the same file with different names. CapCut show name one is 5 seconds and another is 6 seconds. Not all these kinds of audios have this issue. It happens twice in 300 audios. Happened on 3.9. Anyone knows how to downgrade to 3.8?
