I heard from the Grape Vine that a skate park will be built where the dog park is in Tahoe City. I have mixed feelings.
Listen, it’s a memorial park for a young skater who passed away in a tragic ski accident.
Before that, the family would come to Tahoe every summer and eventually buy a house from the bay. The family has lived here for six months, and then tragedy struck.
Since their son loved to Skate, they built a foundation to make a skate park. It started with a pop-up park behind The Blue Agave.
Since the family is from the Bay Area, they fundraised enough money from here and back home to renovate one skate park and, again, possibly build one in Tahoe City.
Pros: I think it’s great to have these kids skate in an area where they can do tricks and not ruin public or private spaces.
Helps the community turn into a giant skating community
Cons: It’s near locally-owned restaurants, businesses, and homes. (I already have to deal enough with loud noises during Adult Softball season. If you’re playing at Conners Field. Everyone can hear the loud music and yells.)
Seen/heard many underage drinking and drug use incidents. Stealing from CVS, Safeway, and even tried at SIPS. With these “Skater Kids”
Find it pretty disappointing/disrespectful that no one asked local homeowners who live at Grove, Bliss CT, Pioneer Way, Red Cedar St, Jackpine St about anything. (Personally, if you want to make something communal, you must accept every TAHOE LOCALS and not go behind their backs)

I’m proposing that the skate park be built on 64 acres or Pomin Park or, even better, the Tart Transit Center since there are so many empty parking spots there. That’s public access and far from residential areas.
Also, I can’t believe that the person who picked that spot doesn’t care about people's local dogs since that’s the only place I can legally have my off-leash dog.
(You can say all you want, but Tahoe City isn’t the same. Those of you who were actually born, raised, or lived here long enough understand)

For context, in the original Season 3 EP5 script there was going to be a scenario that would differ depending on whether or not you shot Joan or took the deal in Thicker Than Water. If Clint was dead Eleanor would have suggested returning the supplies to the communities that have been raided by The New Frontier, whereas if he was alive he'd suggest keeping them.
Switching it around a bit, if this became a scenario where Javi came upon Clint and Eleanor fighting it out and on the spot had to make a decision as to what to do with the supplies, who would you be siding with?

Hi all. I graduated last week with my degree in Elementary Education and have been given the choice of teaching 2nd, 3rd, or 5th grade. My student teaching and clinical experience is exclusively 4th and 5th grade. While I have enjoyed my time in 5th grade, I really don’t like how middle school-y they’ve become since coming back from spring break, and it’s making me very seriously consider 2nd and 3rd. I decided that I wanted to get into rhythm games after loving the karaoke minigame in the Yakuza series. I downloaded demos of a few games for the switch and really liked the gameplay of Project Diva the most. The demo for mega mix only has 2 songs, but I perfected Arifureta Sekai Seifuku on easy and have been grinding a perfect on Romeo and Cinderella for about a week now. Safe to say I'm invested.
I have both a PS5 and Switch so I have the option on either Future Tone or Mega Mix Mega Pack. I know a big selling point of Mega Mix is modding on PC, but that's not a factor for me. Here's the breakdown of pros and cons for me:
Future Tone

• 79 More Songs than MMMP
• PS4/5 Controller is significantly more comfortable than Joycons (Don't own a pro controller)
• $10 Cheaper than MMMP when on sale
• Background Models look a lot worse

Is Ticketmaster allowing people to resell or transfer their David Gilmour tickets? I'm a new nurse who graduated in December. I started on a med-surg unit in a new-grad residency program in January. I was being bullied by some of the staff, spoke up about it but nothing changed, and overall was truly not cut out for this specialty. I was having daily panic attacks before and after work, stopped enjoying life, and cried all the time. I am very interested in psych nursing/outpatient. I live in OR and have applied to several places, but most of what I'm finding is only inpatient med-surg/ICU/ER, eto which is not something l'm interested in. I applied for a child psych position up in WA at a top hospital, and made it to the second round of interviews. I am very conflicted on if I am offered the job, if I should take it. The biggest reason for that is finances. I still live at home and am able to save a TON of money doing so. I have student loans & a car payment that if I was able to start work soon, couple wipe out in 1-2 years. I do pay rent but not nearly as much as I would be paying in Seattle where I could potentially work. My husband and I are trying to weigh the pros and cons, and moving would mean that our finances would be a lot more tight, and I would not be paying my loans off soon at all. On top of that, I truly love living with my family and am very close to them (my husband likes it too, we live in a big house and all split bills and are content). I fear that I could potentially be passing up my dream job though if I am offered it and don't take it. I also don't know how long I should keep looking for jobs in Northern OR until I give up because I have no more options left for the fields I want. Overall, I don't want to make an irrational decision and leave everything and be more strapped financially, but I have always wanted to work in psych and it's a great hospital. I need some outside perspective because each day I just feel more and more defeated when I'm not finding a good job that fits for me, or am turned down. I need a rational and logical perspective to help me make the most sound decision. Thank you so much in advance :)

I'm 11 days sober and went to my first one on one sobriety counselor appointment.
The counselor did a cool exercise with me, where you write your own pros and cons of alcohol on paper and then rate them from 1 - 5 how much they would make you relapse or for the negatives, how big of a reason they are to stay sober.
At the end you count both sides separately and put the "points" or weight on a scale. Imaginary, drawn or physically if you have one and get a better visual understanding of your current feelings about alcohol.
Of course the pro list might be longer or get more points during cravings, but it helped me visualize my feelings toward alcohol better.
Mine was at 61 for negative effects of alcohol and only 25 on the positive side.

Hello everyone, I’m a "Web analytics and conversion tracking" freelancer and I love working in this field. Till now, I have consulted/worked with a lot of agencies/paid ads Pros on project basis.
My specialty is in Google Ads Conversion tracking, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Facebook Pixel Conversion API, Server side Tracking, Cookie Consent, etc.
I’m looking for such agencies or in-house teams who might need someone like me. I can set up all sorts of tracking including some simple Javascript & dataLayer.push() stuff, Enhanced Conversions, and can also work with cookies & consent modes.

Firstly, to be fair, I am in the U.S., and I think that Pocketbook may be a more Euro-centric device even though it is currently sold on the U.S. Amazon store. I really wanted to like the Pocketbook Era Color, thinking it had a really nice looking form factor. I just did a head-to-head against the Kobo Libra Colour, and at least from my perspective, even though both use the same Kaleido 3-screen technology, they are night and day different.
Pros- I do still like the form factor of the Pocketbook Era color. The plastic sides have a premium faux aluminum look and feel, and the device holds nicely in your hands with it overly large four buttons where you hold your hands. I also like the feel of the flush screen.
Cons - Even though the processors for both devices have close to the same speed, functions lag significantly longer on PB. Even though both devices have the same screen technology, the backlighting on the PB is uneven, with two significant bright spots on the right edge of the display. The hot spots are visible until the front light is almost turned all the way off. I have seen others write about this, so I do not think this was just a bad unit. Lastly, at least for me, in the U.S., there are way fewer options for uploading content. There is Dropbox integration, but the only way to access Overdrive is to log on via the web browser, which is excruciatingly slow, and login info has to be re-entered when opened again. It seemed a really painful option as every step took so long, and every keyboard entry had such a significant lag. I intended to put Koreader on this device and sync between my devices, but with so many negatives, I could not think of anything that PB does that the Kobo Libra Colour does not do better. I am returning the PB. I wanted to share and answer any questions if some were similarly curious about the PB.
