I had a last chat with my gf today via txt. It`s over. I`m so heart broken. I wanted to get a peace of mind and her come to my place (outside) so i can say goodbye (hug) and give her some of her things back. First she accepted, but after 3hours she sent text she can´t face me now. She is having hard time divorcing from maniac ex who is mentally abusing her and is having therapy so lot of stress. She wants space and being alone so she dumbed me even though we had amazing 4-5months. I was good to her always other than wanting to see more often which pissed her sometimes and i apologized it today. I tried to lay the option that we could continue the way she wants, but no. She just can`t have anything going with any man at the moment and i said i can wait her to get better and be supportive by her side, but she didn´t ask me to wait and wants to set me free which feels like knife to heart.
I can give her things at gym we both go. So my question is should i wait that she would come to meet my place to get the stuff back? Even though she was very against it later today and said throw them away. I could give her things back at the gym, but i can`t say my goodbyes there so that would leave me sad as there is no final closure if this is really the end.
Other question is i can go the gym at the times she goes there and she was actually fine us seeing at the gym going forward as we don´t chat there just say hi. I would love that as for the time i see her i feel better, but i don´t know can i then move forward in life. I don´t think i can anyway for long time as she was so special. I don`t want to let go and watching the YT clips "the power of walking away" so kinda same as no contact to make her miss us and maybe at the end of summer she would understand what she lost and miss me so much to re-think if she feels better at that point. She won´t be living near my area long time so i need to make decision to see her still while i can or go full NC/walk away and hope for the best. I just fear i would regret of not seeing her these few months. This is killing me.

2024.05.14 17:27 Sin-God A Very Curious Coincidence: A Setting That Has Jumpchain-Like Elements

This post, in its fullness, is about Ta Mando and the Shiftverse, a setting we'll talk about in a bit but before we get started I do wanna mention something kind of neat.
I've vaguely alluded to how I learned about jumpchains, mentioning that it was through a CYOA creator who also does jumps. Pre-pandemic I was a member of the Make Your Choice & NSFW CYOA communities, and I saw FancyFireDrake's Goddess of Mankind CYOA and I really liked it so I checked out some of their other stuff. At the time I was already paying attention to NSFW CYOAs because of TroyxPage, specifically Grand Adonis which to this day remains at least in my top three favorite CYOAs of all time, and when I saw that I really liked Goddess of Mankind I wanted to see what else FFD had done so I looked through their stuff and saw stuff on Jumpchains. This was happening around the same time I was joining the Shiftverse as a player.
Through the power of coincidence I was joining the Shiftverse, an original setting by a friend of mine named Philososhy, at about the same time I was learning about jumpchains and beginning to really discover the power of crossover fan fiction and stuff like that. Here's a little bit of canon Luciano Lore; as a child I began writing, which is part of what I do professionally and semi-professionally, by writing self insert crossover fan fiction though at the time I didn't know these things had terms. I was raised overseas, as I am an army brat, and I was homeschooled, and my family wanted me to get into reading and writing, and so they had me write stories. I don't think they anticipated the lifelong rollercoaster that that would send me on. Anyways, back to the central topic.

The Shiftverse

Before we get started I wanna say that I'm describing a LIVING setting I'm a PLAYER in not the MASTER of so this information will be necessarily limited and imperfect. That said I'm a VERY passionate player, and given the RL circumstances of this setting and my character's circumstances I know a healthy chunk of lore, though I am not even scratching the surface due to this being a special interest of mine and me being a big nerd, plus my character also has had the chance to learn a lot of neat stuff about the metaphysics at play here and has just been taught a lot of cool lore on the interior of things, SOME of which I'm communicating here in a very broad sense of strokes.
The very, very basic gist of the shiftverse from a player character perspective, is that player characters are... reality TV stars whose lives are shows airing on multiversal, cosmic televisions, and they are watched by monstrous, unknowable beings, while the player characters go from world to world, for various different amounts of time, and just LIVE among the inhabitants of the world, free to do as they please and to interact with locals however they wish. It is a pure coincidence that this VERY basic gist sounds so remarkably similar, conceptually at least, to Jumpchains, though as a very funny matter of fact in the SPECIFIC setting I have a character in, there are others with player characters and another one of us knew about jumpchains before I started sharing stuff about jumpchains in the Ta Mando (the SPECIFIC world my character lives in, which is just one of many settings which exist for the Shiftverse) server (which is public, I'll be posting a link to the world-anvil later).
All of the player character primes (the term used to apply to beings who get sent from world to world for the sake of the tv shows, which does not encompass ALL multiversal wanderers in this setting, and also NPC primes exist) I know of are humans from a mundane Earth, in fact many of us in Ta Mando (though almost certainly not all of us) are from the SAME Earth. Certainly all of the player character primes for Kanda, which is the central location, "location" being used real loosely, are from the same Earth and about the same time period.
Primes get superpowers of various sorts to help us survive and live exciting lives. We're also capable of using the powers native to the world's we visit, though learning and attaining such powers isn't always easy. My character is Jonathan Mondragon, who on Earth prior to them becoming a Prime, was a Puerto Rican doctor. I did insert SOME traits of myself in them, they are non-binary, they are bilingual, they are a charisma main, but my ORIGINAL idea for this character was for them to be a Caribbean Homelander (they have a few different powers, namely the powers of Superman (Smallville style, so the powers are steadily growing and new ones become accessible over time) & a set of social powers, which along with Omega Beams and some doctohealer stuff represent their STARTING kit, in the time since they've arrived they've become a champion of a deity of truth and honor, gained the very beginnings of a dragon's power set, and have attuned to the Ta Mando equivalent to The Force, so we love a chaotic ass power-grabber). That idea... did not last long. Jonathan has been in Ta Mando for a few months now, and is a solidly moral person due in large part to the fucking nightmare they had to endure in the beginning of their time here (they were deliberately summoned by the people of a colony of Kanda who were in a bad spot, and Jon has largely succeeded in solving SOME of the problems but it was ROUGH), and the growth they've endured as a result of both pain and the good things they've done since they arrived. Some other primes include characters with really strong magic stuff, someone who is a Saiyan, and a person who is the Avatar, as well as people more attuned to the Ta Mando version of the force and a Space Marine, so as you can see our power sets can VARY.
There are other vague similarities with Jumpchains, such as vague similarities between items in jumps and items in shifts, as a prime tends to get SOME basic items at the start of a chain (usually a facility which serves as a house, which can differ from prime to prime, and functions as a bit of a less protected/more accessible warehouse) but not ALL primes get that and SOME primes get WILDLY more advanced facilities than others. OTHER items can be included as well, as my character has stuff for medicine and farming, and I know of other primes who've got uranium mines, lightsabers, and even pets as part of their starting kit. There ARE difference, one of the biggest differences is that a shift's (the in-universe term for a stint in a world/setting) length is NOT a decade and can last however long the eldritch beings who run the show feel like, though from what I, Luciano, know it seems like most last about a human lifetime, though there are some that last WILDLY longer than that. Another significant difference, as has been explained and hinted at to my character, is that remembering the details of a shift once you leave is not guaranteed, nor is having and keeping the same powers you once had, and all of this is similar to the idea of drawbacks in a jumpchain but these changes, as far as I know, across shifts do not confer any advantages in exchange like a jumpchain drawback does.

Ta Mando

I'm not gonna say much here, I'll just post two links. One is to the World Anvil for Ta Mando, one SPECIFIC setting in the Shiftverse (there are many worlds someone could get shifted too, Ta Mando is just one of them). The other is to my character's World Anvil page, Jonathan Mondragon. This is not SUPER up to date, but it's the beginning of a good set of articles for people in Soterri, as well as a way to learn more about my adventures. Also, this is a text-based TTRPG campaign and we play using GURPS. It's... weird. I'm very much a D&D person, I've been playing D&D over half of my life (literally, I'm 29, the first time I played D&D I was 13, and I had the books BEFORE then), so it's been an adjustment. I like it though, my character DOES feel powerful and has had plenty of kicks moments, but just LEARNING what I can do and the mechanics of everything was a trip.
Anyways, Ta Mando is my favorite TTRPG setting I've ever been in, there's a lot to discover, there's a lot more for me to do there, and I sometimes think about doing a Shiftverse jumpdoc. I think it'd be very funny to blend the two systems like how I've blended the Troyverse & Jumpchains, and how I plan to blend Akumakami64's Love Azathoth CYOA (have a little surprise announcement, as a treat, for making it this far, but do note that I'm in the middle of my busiest time of the year so this won't be for a minute), but truthfully I just don't know enough to really do it justice. Maybe someday I'll make a jumpdoc for The Shiftverse. it could be fun honestly.

It's taking every ounce of willpower in my body to not spoil myself by watching clips on YouTube of Cyno's second story quest since I'm on NA server (though admittedly I watched a few seconds of one of them just to see Kaveh) and I'm so excited I want to cry. I already get so happy simply seeing Kaveh after rewatching the same Kaveh dialogue or cutscene over and over again, so knowing that in a few hours that there'll be fresh new Kaveh content and 4ggravate interactions make me want to start running laps around my house in sheer excitement.

Chaves scapegoat street. From the first run not this most recent one. M390 blade steel, factory edge that may have cut like three pieces of tape, carried maybe twice. This one has been modded by Sean Campbell. Cerakoted black scales with a hand rubbed cross hatching that came out amazing. Lightly Black oxide blade (very hard to tell in pics & vid but it looks amazing) all hardware has been black oxide as well. 🍺 Commander Adjustments
Adjusted the basic skill effect of "Hobbit Adventurer" (Frodo & Sam, Merry & Pippin) to: Defense of Man, Elf, Dwarf, Hobbit, Beast, and Ent units in 2 allied formations +12.
Adjusted the basic skill effect of "Haradrim" (Black Serpent) to: Defense of 3 allied Man, Evil Man, and Beast formations +15.0.
Adjusted the basic skill effect of "Lord of Mûmakil" (Black Serpent) to: Defense of 3 allied Large Unit formations +5.0, and Attack +5.0.
Adjusted the basic skill effect of "Forest Guardian" (Beorn) to: Attacks inflicted by 2 allied Large Unit formations reduce the target's Defense by 10.0 for 1 round.
Adjusted the Lv.10 effect of "Forest Guardian" (Beorn) to: 2 Large Unit formations Attack +3.0.
Adjusted the basic skill effect of "Mountain Orc Leader" (Oglurg) to: Attack and Defense of Orc, Uruk, Troll, or Beast units in the Commander's formation +15.0, and their Initiative +5.0.
As a result of these skill adjustments for Frodo & Sam, Merry & Pippin, Black Serpent, Beorn, and Oglurg, you will obtain one free skill reset chance for each of these Commanders recruited before the update. These free reset chances will be valid within 14 days after the update.
📰 Unit Adjustments
Removed the Melee Attack trait for the "Ranger" and "Dúnedain" units. The effect of normal attacks prioritizing Enemy Ranged Units remains unchanged.
Adjusted the Flying trait for ""Eagles"", so damage received from enemy Melee Units will decrease by 20% (formerly 40%).
Increased the resources and time required to conscript and heal "Goat Riders" and "Ram Riders."
🌪️ New Land Status: Gale
The Gale status will be activated on land beyond your spawn realm at the beginning of Season 2 and new Campaigns launched after this update.
The Gale status will stop Flying Armies from occupying affected land.
The Gale status can be removed when corresponding Control Points are occupied or a certain stage of Server Progress is reached.
⚙️ Feature Adjustments
Flying Armies can move beyond the Influence range of their affiliated structures, but out-of-range movement will consume extra Stamina based on the distance moved.
However, Flying Armies are still restricted by the Influence range when occupying land.
When Flying Armies engage in combat with low Stamina, their damage dealt will decrease, and they will also take additional damage from Ranged Units.
Adjusted the Kingdom/Faction Protection effect. Now, when within areas under your Kingdom/Faction Territory Protection, enemy armies cannot launch attacks on personal lands of your Kingdom/Faction members when these lands are beyond the attackers' Fort Influence range.
Adjusted the positions of "Clairvoyance" and "Extract" on the Ring Ability Tree.
"Clairvoyance" no longer consumes Ability Points.
Adjusted the display rules for certain Gift Packs.
[Season 1] You can now control army marching by tapping on the ground in the Trails.
🛠️ Feature Optimizations
[Season 1] The "Blessing for Departures" Mathom Chest and the "Rare Treasures" Mathom Chest will share the same draw progress. After this update, the number of ""Blessing for Departures"" and ""Rare Treasures"" chests you have drawn before the maintenance on May 14 will be tallied. If the total exceeds 200, you are guaranteed to obtain a Mythic Commander Invitation upon drawing the next ""Blessing for Departures"" or ""Rare Treasures"" chest, and the 200 draws will be deducted from your draw progress.
Added a Commander Recommended Builds System on the Commander interface, with detailed recommendations for Commander lineups.
Optimized the display of Physique Countering-related interfaces.
Optimized visuals for the skies.

1- Dot is a special kind of genius. Layers upon layers of meaning in his work. His mastery of language and the craft are unsurpassed. 🥷 It's amazing seeing him get recognition for his old catalogue as a result of this.
2- The 'Not Like Us' music video should just be clips of people reacting to the song, and dancing and singing along in clubs, with inserts of everyone wilding out to the lyrics at all the key moments. That's it. That would be poetic! Drake's ego would shatter. 😂
3- It's terrifying how readily people will jump down a rabbit hole, make wild accusations and doxx others without hesitation. I was blown away watching it unfold in real time. I never realised how quickly people could get carried away like that. 🤯
4- Seeing the JCole sub posts in contrast to the other subs made me take a good hard look at myself. From now on, I'm trying to bring that chill vibe into my daily life. 😎😂 Thanks to all the redditors who posted the "which pokemon..." and "would you fw my pet" posts. They were a wonderful respite amidst the dumpster fire.

2024.05.14 16:53 Nopani My legacy perks tierlist

I'm a long-time player who joined before the NG+ update. I had every perk by then and I played till my fifth NG+, cleared out the Orc Horde on Impossible then stopped for about a year before coming back with the new wave of updates - I've obtained every encounter-related achievement now and my achievement completion is at 97%, while my NG+ bonus is +1311% caps and +131,1% all resources.
These are my thoughts on what prestiges (or "legacy perks") are the best.
S Tier:

Architecture of Titans - This building singlehandedly takes care of your wood and stone needs - including caps! - and also provides a dramatic output of tools, copper and iron. It's completely worth the 60 fame and a satisfying reward for beating one of the lategame bosses.
Ministry of Interior - Like the Titan Work Area, but for gold and research. And it comes with extra population and supplies, as well as crystals indirectly through the extra professors. Only caveat is that it costs materials and supplies to build.
Guild of Craftsmen - A must for the earlygame when the production of tier 2 resources is directly competing with your tier 1. It will fall off for the individual tier 2 buildings later on but it's still the first building you want to go for whenever you unlock the feudal age.
Craftsmen - Tier 2 resources will be one of your main bottlenecks throughout the game, and these perks provide bigger and bigger boosts to them. After Craftsmen III it stops boosting tier 2 to instead boost natronite and saltpeter, which is less crucial to have.
Shopkeepers and Breeders - This boosts tools, cows and horses. While the latter two are nice to have for extra money at the market in a pinch, it's tool production that puts this perk above other resource multipliers like Enhanced Axes and Irrigation Techniques. Tools will be a recurring bottleneck from the early game all the way to the lategame, and it's always a good idea to get more.
Deep Pockets - We're here to remind you about possibly life's greatest joy of all: MONEY!

A Tier:

Machines of Gods - Like a lite version of Titan Workshop focusing exclusively on tools, copper and iron. It's unlocked later and is less cost efficient, but certainly helps.
Powered Weapons - This buffs your units starting from primitive spearmen all the way to artillery and line infantry. The early perks are the most important to get as they make your cheap, easy to spam units all the more effective.
Enhanced Axes, Irrigation Techniques, Renowned Stonemasons - These are the best way to boost your base resources until you can afford deep runs and beat the Sleeping Titan. Worth noting that Enhanced Axes and Renowned Stonemasons lead to Woodworking and Stonemasons, whereas Grain Storage is already unlocked at the start.
Regional Market - MONEY! You can think of these as a second bank. Probably the best use for your first coin.
Resource Caps - These are vital for early afk play. This line starts weak but gets stronger and stronger. It synergizes greatly with the NG+ plus bonus, though said bonus also means you can just take the boosted caps from base buildings and make do without this perk. Though it should remain very relevant in your first few NG+ runs.
Ministry of War, Ministry of Worship - Both of these greatly simplify core aspects of the game, army and magic respectively, with extra army cap, food cap, faith and mana. Ministry of War turns arquebusiers into one of the best units in the game, and Ministry of Worship grants extra lucky stones, and both of them come with extra jobs and population. The reason they aren't S tier is that in the lategame you can get enough army cap to clear every encounter (at least on normal) and enough mana to have all spells turned on even without these ministries, whereas the extra research and gold always stays paramount.
Clever Villagers - The thing with research output is that it's not your main limiter until it is. When you have the other resources' production down, make sure to not neglect this perk.
Library of Theresmore - This provides a nice boost to most ancient era resources. With 5 of these libraries you have a +10% bonus, which would've cost way more in fame if you were getting all the various Enhanced Axes, Deep Pockets, Strengthening Faith, etc. and you can comfortably afford up to 10 libraries.
Monastic Orders - I agree with u/AGDude's description that "all of the boosts it provides make life just a little bit easier". It also has a lenient price scaling.
Strengthening Faith - This lets you produce more mana and faith which lets you unlock spells faster. Affording an extra spell can be as good as affording an extra perk, or better. It's also a must if you like using Battle Angels or rely on Zenix Familiars.

B tier:

Zenix Familiar - These are cheap, immortal scouts who cannot discover new nations and run on mana rather than gold or supplies. And they give you research. The fact they cannot discover civilizations may seem like a drawback at first, but it also means no splash screen will pop up and block your autoclicker if you've left that on the explore button (there's some exceptions, like the Forest of Markanat and the Demoness Castle).
Hall of Wisdom - More or less like an extra school. Handy although Machines of Gods is a better use for your first Tome of Wisdom.
Stock Resources - These are the equivalent of a few houses, farms and lumberjacks for free at start, which is an appreciated boost.
Gift of Nature, Gift of the Creators - Also a small initial boost, this time in direct production. Lets you get a few buildings up faster.
Rampart - Another good use for a coin. It's like a second wall that costs more but gives you extra fame every run.
Enhanced Pickaxes - I find copper to never be a bottleneck and for iron to very rarely be, but it's handy to invest some points into these, especially if your army strategy is to spam warriors and heavy warriors.
Fortune Teller, Soothsayer, etc. (Lucky Stone perks) - Nice to have, particularly if your strategy relies on getting that extra upgrade from luck buildings.
Ancient Vault - A multi-purpose storage which unlike the rest of the category also raises your gold, research, faith and mana cap. Building 14 of them is fairly affordable and equals getting Ancient Treasury I and II + Service to Gods I and II.
Ancient Treasury - Extra gold cap can be hard to come by in the early game. That said you will mainly rely on vaults and natronite buildings to get the cap high enough for the coin.
Grain Storage, Stonemason, Woodworking - Grain Storage is good in the very early game where every bit of extra food counts - whether it's to send out more attacks, or to free up one worker from food production to something else. I find Stonemason and Woodworking to not be worth bothering with, as at my current NG+ level I can reach Architecture of Titans in fewer runs than it takes to unlock them, but they aren't bad per se.
Elysian Field - This helps militarily even if you don't rely on Battle Angels. It's one of the few ways to significantly raise the food cap, and more stockpiled food means you can send the army out to attack more times per sitting. Besides that they have a niche use in getting the achievement for 15 Altars of Sacrifices, but that's very late game.
Titanic Walls - These walls give you extra fame and - surprisingly - tier 2 resources. But due to how costly they are it's less of a "I must get this immediately" and more of a "When I'm already swimming in tier 2 resouces and fame, I can build these to get even more"
Militia Recruitment - Like a second, more cost-efficient barracks with some added settlement defense.
Free Hands - An average pick, not as good as others. You're better off boosting population through the various buildings you unlock progressing the game.
Army of Men - Also average. The late perks are very powerful and they can help squeeze in just enough soldiers for a tough lategame boss on higher difficulties, but most encounters do not come down to ten extra soldiers and even when they do it's usually a problem of recruitment cost and upkeep rather than army caps.
Battle Angel, Seraphim - Some people swear by them but I don't use these much as early game I have other uses for faith and mana and lategame they fall behind other units. It's pretty fun to summon a battle angel just to clear a cellar full of rats, though.

C tier:

Monument, Heirlooms - A basically-free building at start with some minor assorted bonuses. The bonuses aren't very impactful, despite being costlier than Stock Resources and Gift of Nature, but I like to get one every reset because they need to be unlocked one at a time, so I can have the full collection when it's time for the next NG+.
Service to Gods - Extra faith and mana cap doesn't do much besides affording you an extra level of the Fortune Grove (but you can just get the Fortune Teller line). It's pretty satisfying to clear the Mausoleum of Gods in one, two clicks on faith and mana though.
Charism - I haven't done the actual math and whether at some point a boost to fame might be more efficient than getting the other perks to achieve faster runs, but I only grab this perk when I have fame to spare or have already bought the higher tiers.
Hall of the Dead - Extra population would be handy but this building scales terribly, especially in the tool cost. It's worth to build a few, but you get far more value out of ministries, where population isn't even the main selling point.
Undead Herds - Unless you like cavalry or are trying to get the 15 Altars of Sacrifices achievement, this is not that useful besides for freeing up some workers from the breeder job.
Strong Workers - I hardly ever bother with resource clicking beyond my very first run. There may be some strats that involve building up a stockpile of stone, wood and food during the ancient era before researching feudalism (which removes the buttons), but in my experience in Theresmore the best use for an autoclicker is clicking 15 times on the wall button until it's built.
Spikes and Pits - Uuuuh... neat to have? The best way to deal with enemy nations is by taking them out before they can even attack, and building an army strong enough to pass the age bosses is best done through the other perks. The later upgrades cost relics and buff the Juggernaut.
Shieldbearer, Priest, Juggernaut, Ancient Balor - I never use tanks as the unit's purpose seems sorta defeated. They are meant to be low-attack, high defense frontliners but they are weak to shock which is the most damaging unit type and is very common amongst encounters. Shoutout to Ancient Balor for producing steel and helping me clear out the Orc Horde Assault on Deity, and Religious Colony-boosted Priests are hilarious.
Coin Mercenary, White Company- Mercenaries cost only gold and die before the rest of the shock units. Canava Guard are slightly tankier (but still shock) mercenaries, White Company are offense-focused ranged units. They can accrue a respectable amount of boosts if you get all the Mercenary Agreements perks, but there are better uses for your gold, coins and fame. With that said, if you have Coin Mercenary and White Company you unlock the perk to recruit Cpt Gallard (who gives you gold) and after that you get another perk which unlocks a questline with a new building and new encounters.

D Tier:

Mercenary Agreements - I just don't bother with these unless I'm trying to 100% the perk list. Mercenaries are simply too costly for me to consider.

F tier:

Weapons of the Titan - Compared to the other titans upgrades it's a complete waste of 60 fame points. The units it boosts aren't my cup of tea for the endgame, either, as crossbowmen and heavy infantry outclass arquebusiers and men at arms once you defeat Nikharul and rebuild the fortress.

I'm new to selfhosting and after fiddling around with hosting a few services on my gaming PC, I've decided that I want a dedicated system. However, I don't really know what I should get in terms of hardware, and I hope you guys can be of assistance:
My requirements:

I need a NAS. I have a hoard of clips from videos games that (especially uncompressed) take up a load of space, and I currently have them spread over multiple HDDs that are sitting in a box, which isn't very convenient.
A server which can:
- Host a media server and home assistant
- Host video game servers on a smaller scale (just for myself and a couple of friends) such as Valheim, 7Days2Die, etc.
- Host hobby projects like small sites and discord bots
I'm familiar with docker and k8s, so I will most likely be using those technologies whenever I have the opportunity.

Would a synology or QNAP NAS be able to run the things I've mentioned heer, or do I need something more powerful? If I do, would I then be better off building something myself, and would it be better to have a dedicated NAS machine and a dedicated server machine?
A small challenge as well; I live in a rather small apartment and I'm afraid that multiple active HDDs will be far too noisy for me and my partner, so I've considered using an SDD based NAS to mitigate this. Is this even viable? Perhaps a combinations of SSDs for data I access frequently, and HDDs for longer term storage?
I know this post is SUPER vague in terms of how much power I need, but I'm asking more in terms of where I should start looking, what the conventions are and what kind of setup you would go for with these requirements.

APPLE WATCH. pic 1 pic 2 I thought it'd be fun to be one of those annoying hipsters that lets everyone know they have an apple watch. No, not that apple watch, the original apple watch. It was fun. Now it's time for someone else to enjoy being the obonxious hispter guy of their friend group. Works but needs a fresh battery. TV $45 / SV $30.
Seiko SNE331. pic pic 2. These are really nice. Very slim, has solar, and I think the face looks awesome. This is a very lightly used one I bought as a back-up to my user. The only signs of wear I see are a tiny ding by 8 o clock and the strap is rounded from sitting in my watch case around one of those round pad things. These look great with a black sailcoth strap which is what my user has. This one has the stock strap, box, tags, etc. TV $90 / SV $75
Casio G shock square. pic. I'm a big fan of the old school 5200. I bought a few different colors over the years but always end up wearing the regular black version more. This one was worn less than 5 times after being purchased new. Misplaced the tin it came in though. TV $75 / SV $60.
Citizen chrono watch. pic pic 2 pic 3 This was the most expensive watch I bought myself. Bought new for around $220. Decided I'm more of a $40 gshock kind of guy and got out of watches before I got into omegas and shit, yay me. I don't recall the reference number and seem to have misplaced the box (I'll keep looking, I know I have it around here somewhere.) I think it was part of their chandler field watch line. Has a nice OD green strap with reinforced holes. Eco drive solar function works great. Top of the body shows very little wear.....some very fine hairline scratches if you hold it right up to your eyeballs, looks new from typical "I'm checking the time" distance. Nice watch, just a little too nice for me. TV $140 / SV $100

MWC combo. pic. pic 2 pic 3 The watch on the left is a very high end model with tritium, 300m water resist etc. But it has an unknown issue. May need a replacement movement. I bought it used and it worked great but then stopped. Replaced battery, worked great, stopped again. Never got around to sending it in for repair. The one on the right was purchased new direct from MWC and runs perfect. I upgraded to a black strap with glow stitching. Come with box, tin, COA, stock silver nato style strap etc. Normal retail on these is around $350 for the black, $75 for the gray. Take both for TV $100 / SV $75.

Leatherman Fuse Combo. pic 1 pic 2. This is for both tools and the pocket clip. I used to be into modding Leatherman tools to make custom tool layouts. I had plans for modding the black one with different tools and adding a pocket clip from a wave + I never got around to finishing. One tool pivot is loosened up on each of these as I was experimenting on adding the clip etc. Every tool is in good shape, works well, blades are very sharp and look like factory edge etc. They'll need to be re-tightened or something before use. Selling them as is, no sheaths for either, again pocket clip is included. TV $60 / SV $45 for everything pictured.

Spyderco Aqua Salt. pic 1 pic 2 pic 3 This is one of the best knives ever made. Only reason I'm selling this is I talked myself into being ok with owning 5 of them instead of 6. I picked my least used user to post for sale. This one was picked up from a seconds sale where they sold without sheaths. Luckily I had an extra sheath I bought previously. These are incredibly tough, incredibly light, rust proof and killer cutters with a thin, coarse edge. My most used fixed blade model over the last 20 years, they can fill any role from bushcraft to hiking to fishing to diving. TV $140 / SV $120

Kabar TDI combo. pic 1 pic 2. The smaller one is in good shape. Was sharpened because the factory edge was absolute garbage. Sheath clip shows some carry wear. Large one is ugly but still cuts. I used it to practice reprofiling on my belt sander and scratched it up pretty good. Note I lost the straps for the sheath. Take both for TV $50 / SV $35

Hello guys. I recently switched from galaxy s10+ to the note 20 ultra in late April this year. I used the smart switch to transfer over settings and apps.
Tldr- note 20 ultra blazing through mobile hotspot. Mobile data slowed to .5mbps when using vpn.
My problem is the phone used 100gb of mobile hotspot in about 10 days and, my data when connected to vpn, goes from 50-150mbps down to .5 maps.
I never had this problem with my s10+ and I have used nordvpn for years now. My old phone would use about 40gb of hotspot in one month. And, my data on vpn was always about 15mbps.
The only big difference between phones (that I know of) is it uses an esim instead of a physical sim, and the 20 ultra has 5g as the s10+ didnt. Same number, same phone plan, same routines.
So far I have tried: removing anti-virus apps, different vpn subscriptions and free vpn, cleared cache partition, fully updated software and apps, getting new esim, reset network settings, turned off 5g, deleting vpn profiles, Uninstalled vpn and reinstall, different vpn servers.
Any ideas, or can I just not use the vpn and expect average data speeds anymore?
