Unblock me game computer

I recently got into emulators and Roms for old Nintendo games and made a mistake. I was looking for Roma and came across a site called romsfun.com. I am aware of the dangers of downloading random things off the internet and looked up the website, found a post on Reddit saying how it was safe. (It did however ask for an allow notifications and an am I a robot test from them.) I looked it up, I click on the rom link I wanted to download and got taken to the same are you a robot page. I was reading through it when suddenly I am taken to a page where I am told viruses are detected on my PC and an autogenerated text voice says my IP address was used recently. In a panic I shutdown my computer quickly. When I got back on I started receiving Mcafee notifications that I have several viruses on my computer. I checked with the windows virus checker and it said I was safe now randomly when I open google my computer receives those mcafee notifications, making it impossible to use google. Any tip, and did I actually download a virus or malware?
Also, I know little to nothing about computers so sorry if I sound dumb. Also if you come here to call me an idiot and stupid for doing what I did. Please don’t I am stressing enough already.

so my dad was busy now so now i was playing games on my computer like minecraft roblox and more in my room untill my dad cames in and i turn off my computer because my dad was there so now he turned on the wii i am so excited that my wii is on
so now i go to the mii channel but untill there is this strange mii that his name is eteled but it just delete in backwards but he just standing here and smiling but he seems.... weird so i put him into the delete mii channel so now after i delete him
i go to the create mii button and started to create a new mii and i name it kyle because it my name but until i go the to mii channel and eteled is here again but i dont know how does he get here?
i tried to erase him again but untill the screen goes dark but i dont know why? and eteled is here floating here and he said kyle why would you delete miis? you know they have feelings right? but i said how does the mii talk but he then saids kyle im gonna give you one more chance if you erase miis again you know what will happen.. but the sign appears here and it saids wii have erased u but until i got mad and sad so i decided to turn off the wii and sleep
after the sleep i have wake up and worried that if my wii got shutdown so i decided to try to turn it on but it was normal now so i try to go to mii channel and saw eteled here but i will try my best to not erased him but i will just try to play other wii games with him so i go to the wii sports and i choose bowling because it was my favorite sport of the game
now i was started to get boring and all i have to do it to play the sports with one mii in this game but after i finshed i go to the mii channel again and i am now going to erase him again but then he teleport so fast but he just turn the menu into a glitchy place with some static and eteled appears more static and more creepy than he is before and he said

but now the wii have shutdown thanks to eteled now i dont want to tell my dad for this he will get mad at me so im going to hide my wii now in the closet and i go to bed and thinking i regret that

Hello! First post in this fine community, I've read the rules but please let me know if I'm breaking a rule.
So, a couple of months ago I built my very first PC. It's a modest setup as I didn't have a lot of money back then, and I was not very knowledgeable (even less than I currently am). Everything was fine. However, after a couple of months of gaming, I started to notice that after 5 minutes of gaming (games like Sandstorm Insurgency or Total War: Warhammer III), the CPU fan suddenly turned off, and for it to power back on I had to shut down or place the computer in sleep mode for 10 minutes.
I have already cleaned the interior of the PC, looked for dust and cloth inside the fans, disconnected the fans and reconnected them to the motherboard and PSU, and have even moved the CPU from the CPU FAN pin to a regular FAN pin to rule out faulty pins. But the problem still persists.
Do you think the fan is the problem? The PSU? Or the Motherboard?

Im looking to get a new computer, as mine has been running slow over the last year and has recently become very irritating no matter what I do. (Albeit, Im not that good with computers).
When I was in high school, my mom got me my current computer because I had killed two other computers graphics cards my playing the sims 3. Now I play the sims 4 with a decent amount of dlc. Its the only pc game that I consistently play, and I want to make sure that the computer I get will be able to handle it well.
Any advice for computer hunting for a person who does not know much about computers besides the sims apparently kills graphics cards?

The internet has always been in my life. I didn't use it too much when I was younger, but it's slowly taken over. Video games used to be my scapegoat for why I've been so unhappy, but I don't even really play them anymore. The common denominator in my life has been YouTube and the internet. I can't recall much at all from the thousands of hours I've spent on YouTube videos and social media. My mind subconsciously categorized these things as meaningless, so I never tried to engage or learn anything from them. Hours upon hours of essentially white noise, for years. I never developed new interests once the internet took over. I'm almost 21, and the only things I'm knowledgable of are cartoons and video games. The internet stunted me as a person.
If I didn't have the internet, I would've been bored more often. I might've become more curious and learned new things. I can't imagine how much more skillful and well rounded I could've been if the internet didn't exist in my life. I've become intellectually stunted, and it will only get worse and more pathetic as I age. I spend all my time on computers, but what has it really ever done for me? I wish I had spent my teenage years hanging out with my friends instead of playing meaningless video games over the internet with them. My online friends were toxic. I didn't learn much of anything from the internet.
I just want it gone, all of it. I'll be a 21 year old man in a few weeks and I want to rid myself of this "life" completely. As my peers enter their senior year of university, I've been stuck in a dopamine haze. I want to throw it all away. I want to unplug my computer and live life as if the internet didn't exist. Screw moderation, what is there worth preserving here? There's nothing for me. My life has been on pause for a very long time, and I don't want to become a stunted manchild (which I'm already on the path to becoming).
I don't know how I'll do it. I need the internet for banking, college, and researching stuff like skincare and fitness. On some level, it has to stay in my life. I just wanna kill it completely though, so, so badly. I don't want computers or the internet in my life anymore. They're the common denominator. They've always been there. I just wanna live life as if I were born in the 20th century. Maybe I'll feel even more alone but at least I'll be free. I swear to God I'm getting rid of all of this in a couple of weeks. I don't know how but I need to.

Here’s all the levels of Citadel Station, ranked from my least-favorite to my favorite.

1. Level 4 - Storage. Layout is confusing, everything looks samey, and the flier bots are annoying and won't stop spawning. I just went back there to grab a few plastique--should have been in and out, but the flier bots harassed me the whole way.
   
2. Level R - Reactor. Hoppers all over the damn place eating all my ammo.
   
3. Level 7 - Engineering. A horrible, awful maze (but kind of fun to navigate once you get used to it).
   
4. Level 2 - Research. Semi-symmetrical layout and maintenance shafts make it a little tough to get around, and the baddies keep coming back on your first few visits. Has a great climax with the computer room, Isotope X-22, and the elevator to the next level all in one quadrant.
   
5. Level 3 - Maintenance. Straightforward level full of nasty monsters. Not difficult to get through once the place is clear. The Interface demodulator puzzle is cool and spooky.
   
6. Level 9 - Bridge. Cool final area, very spooky design (though I miss the weird goop on the walls from the original System Shock). Layout is easy to deal with, if not particularly interesting.
   
7. Level 1 - Medical. System Shock condensed into one level.
   
8. Level 8 - Security. great change of pace with the vertical layout. Could have been atrocious to navigate but isn’t (refreshing after engineering directly below).
   
9. Level 5 - Flight Deck. Cool layout with varied types of areas, but not a headache to get around. Good enemy variety.
   
10. Level 6 - Executive. No wonder the executives wanted to live here. Your map is actually useful. Music and atmosphere is the best on the station. Combat takes a turn at this point in the game, and you feel like you can take on your enemies without running out of resources. Also the hub of the virus mission, my favorite puzzle in the game.

Right now, I'll be going into my 3rd year in university and I'm majoring in Digital Arts and Sciences. The major is basically made up of very project-based classes that have us learning about game development, UI/UX, and 3D and/or 2D animation. Eventually, you'll hone in on a certain field in upper-division classes and I've been really interested in pursuing 3D modelling. However, I've recently come across the option of becoming a technical artist and I've hit a bump in the road. How useful would a computer science minor be in pursuing a career as a technical artist?
I've been taking math classes and a programming class so that I can officially declare a computer science minor, but the minor itself would require a lot of credits (24 more to be exact) on top of working a job/internship, school, and developing my 3D modelling skills and portfolio, and I'm not sure balancing all of those is very plausible. So, would a computer science minor really be worth it? If not, what should I be focusing on instead?
Another opinion I would like to ask if you would recommend even considering a career as a technical artist for me as a more artistic-leaning individual.
Any insight or opinions on this would be very helpful!

So here’s what happened : Yesterday I was playing alone on my local single player save game I was messing with commands then I gave myself a tek shield with that command ( gfi tekshield 1 999 1 ) and then my game froze for like 10 minutes, so I was getting tired of waiting of waiting so I rebooted my computer and then when I launched the game back, first all my options/settings were reset ( graphics, resolution, etc ) and even all the configuration I had on my game ( taming speed, farming speed, etc ) and then when I joined my game back It asked me to create a new survivor and I also had a cinematic where a spectral Helena was talking to me saying that I need to find her etc and then I look at my inventory and map, I lost them all aswell as my progress on my map but when I returned where my base everything was still there just not owned by me and my old character was where it was when I launched the game before it crashed It wasn’t here where I crashed (I know there’s a command to steal all the tribe’a properties but I’m asking to get my character data back) so that’s pretty much it sorry if had troubles reading English isn’t my first language. I really hope someone can help me I’d be extremely grateful like I said thanks in advance to anyone who reply🙏

I am only here to ask questions that I have gathered from my attendance of a presbyterian church for a majority of my lifetime. Feel free to criticize my approaches, question my knowledge/understanding of the gospel, and cite scripture. For the sake of discussion, please excuse any blasphemy that I may engage in. I don't mean to. I apologize in advance.
Sin
If God is all-powerful, loves us, and feels great sadness when his beloved children fall into sin, why did he allow for sin's existence in the first place? Something I've heard in church is that God wants a world where we, his children, spend all of eternity with him, and everyone is perfect and happy. This could've been the only reality to occur. Why not? And something else I've heard is the reason we fell into sin was because we were given free will. First of all, why are we inclined to like the sinful option more? Did God make us that way? Second of all, God had the power in the beginning to manipulate what reality was. If he is all powerful, he could've made a reality where evil isn't even a concept, and a being with free will would always choose a righteous option. Him and all of his creation would never know pain. Holy perfection and love would be the only concept for all eternity. Why not?
A common answer I get to the previous question is God's master plan. He has everything planned out and we have to trust him. But how did things get so bad that he needed a master plan? Couldn't his master plan have started and ended with happiness? Do we even have free will if everything is going to plan?
Another common answer I get is that there must be darkness for there to be light. And I honestly think that is horrible. All of this evil and pain in humanity, just for the sake of balance? Just so the light can stand out more?
Game
Now, this part I'm afraid will come off as especially condescending and blasphemous. But please hear me out. I apologize if I hurt anyone with anything I say today.
Sometimes I view life according to the Bible as some sort of sick and twisted game. Imagine you create a society simulation on your computer and play "god". You make weak beings that are destined for death if they do not devote their lives to you. And you feel good when they choose you, even though you made them need you. Why were we made not perfect? Why were we made with the ability to fall into evil if that is the opposite of what God wants? Why make fragile beings that need you when you can make perfect beings that can always live among you?
Sometimes it seems like God made a pool, dropped us into it, watched as we preventably poisoned it, took the obedient ones out, and is now a hero. Isn't everything his plan? Why was the pool poisonable?
Wisdom
The most common answer I get is that God has incomprehensible wisdom and we should just trust him. I find it hard to do that because I couldn't trust somebody with so many unknowns about their character.
Is there any other ways I can think about all of this? Is there anything I missed or got wrong? What parts of the Bible/other resources can I read for clarity on things like this?

This is a two part question of sorts, please bear with me! I'm not very computer literate so feel free to answer this as though I was a four year old.
1.) In the past few days, I noticed that flight paths aren't working for me. The flight path map will pop up, but when I click the destination symbol, nothing happens. Some quick googling revealed that completely clearing my addons / cache (interface, cache, WTF, etc.?) will fix the problem... but there surely has to be a better way, one where I won't have to completely reconfigure my game?
2.) Speaking of my addons / settings overall, I'm currently using an older PC, and I'm concerned that it may give up the ghost sooner than later. Is there a way to copy my exact addon settings over to a new computer, 1:1?

Hoping to maybe find some advice and perspective from other gamers out there.
I have always been really big into computer games, even since I was a child. It was a way for me to connect with friends and communities I much more preferred to most real life connections. When I met my current primary partner I was in a polyamorous relationship where my primary partner at the time also did not approve of me wanting to play video games as much as I did, and rightfully so. I ended up selling my computer to try and salvage that relationship. but eventually relapsed and built another PC going back to my old habits.
That relationship eventually crumbled, but my secondary partner and I continued dating. Her and I later had a child together and decided to become monogamous. I talked with her a lot about my struggle to balance PC gaming and life responsibilities early on in our relationship, so she was acutely aware of how I liked to spend my time (often to my own detriment). For some reason she stayed by my side even though I continued to go back and forth between moderating my computer time, and fully diving in.
Sometimes I feel angry that I can't do the things I want to do without being made to feel guilty for not wanting to use my time the way she thinks I should. I have come to terms with the fact that having such a hobby that takes up such a large amount of one's time is probably not great for most relationships, and I should prioritize my time in a way that better suits my family. I have come to terms with the fact that I am a struggling addict of sorts, and perhaps shouldn't have a computer at all if I'm unable to effectively moderate myself.
I am once again on the verge of getting rid of my PC as it's become a point of contention with my partner.
I often end up wondering if there are successful relationships out there where one or both individuals are avid gamers, or how people in my position have been able to manage things in a way that's amicable for everyone.

the problem began when i logged out of my steam account but when i tried to log back in it said error code e87 so i looked a tutorial on youtube that said uninstall steam so i did but now when i try to start steam it says "steamwebhelper not responding" so i started my computer again but now steam wont open and i dont want to lose my account with many games so can anyone help me

I posted this in another sub but figured I’d try this one as well. I know what I need exists, and I’ve seen versions of what I’m looking for but the scale of cost and capability is huge, and I don’t want to pay more than I need to.
The current setup: I work in state government and work from home twice a week. They gave me a Dell Laptop and corresponding Dell dock that connects via a single USB-C cord. I have a keyboard, Kensington track ball, ethernet, ect all running through the dock with a duplicated setup at home. Dual displays are connected via DisplayPort, although HDMI is also an option.
The Problem: I bought a 2012 Mac Mini basically to be a Jellyfin media server, but also just to screw around and learn Linux stuff in general. Right now I have an HDMI cable running to one of my displays and I have to manually change the input on the monitor and either use a separate mouse and keyboard entirely or unplug my work peripherals and plug them into the Mini. It’s annoying and cluttered as hell. I would really like to just be able to push a single button and have my existing setup switch from one computer to the other seamlessly. I’m not gaming, or doing anything that requires 4K/high performance pass through requirements or anything. I’m just curious what I need for super basic desktop functionality, and would this work in conjunction with the Dell dock, replace the Dell dock? These are the parts I’m not totally sure about and the devices I’ve looked at range anywhere from 40-50 bucks to over 400 bucks depending on what they’re capable of.

To summarize, I observed that the rubberbanding effect of Transplant. As the time played grew, I began to see an effect after Transplant that would yank me back to the original Transplant target location after a delay. The delay (Time to Rubberband, if you will) grew completely at a linear rate. About 1.7s / hr.
It seems like most people don't experience this problem, but I've spotted posts of others that do.
I've spent a lot of time testing this and trying to rule out issues. In all my testing, I discovered something surprising about my PC. I'm having a small amount of drift in my clock. I'm slowly losing time. Comparing my PC clock vs NIT Internet Time Service, my PC clock is falling behind at almost exactly the same rate that my rubberbanding is growing!
Last Epoch Rubberbanding amount after 1 hour played:
From my last video after 60 minutes, I was rubberbanding 51 frames (on 30 FPS video).
51 frames to rubberband / 30 Frames per second = 1.7 second rubberband time
PC Time Drift
In 30 minutes of clock testing, I observed 0.845s of drift.
0.845s / 30m * 60m/1hr = 1.69s/hr
Conclusion
I would have trouble proving this with 100% certainty without access to some other systems with LE and some minor clock drift, but the fact that the hourly drift and hourly rubberbanding times are within 0.01s of each other seems too close to be a coincidence.

PC Problem? I guess? Is it also a bug for Last Epoch?
Now, this is being caused by an issue with my system, sure. But it sure looks like that when a game session starts that some kind of timer is being initialized on client side that is being used as part of the Transplant (and perhaps other traversals) code. It isn't updated until you re-log or die and respawn.
I think there's an assumption that the timers will be in sync with the sever, and in theory they should be very very close. Though, a tiny amount of clock drift is not that unusual. So while mine might get bad very quickly to being unplayable in an hour, someone with a more normal level of drift might notice a minor rubber band effect after 2 or 3 hours of play (without death).
In the Meantime...
I'm also contacting my PC support. It's a 5 month old PC under warranty, so I'm definitely getting this looked into.
TLDR : I believe PC Clock Drift seems to result in Transplant rubberbanding
