2024.01.28 17:07 awkwardmystic Good sites for album artwork, not just front image

I used to use cdcovers.cc some years ago - this site had scans of the album from and read artwork, as well as the physical media (CD) and often liner notes.
I can find plenty of sites that have the front covers - these are generally easily found using search engines anyway - but are there any good sites that have the back covers also, and preferably the other artwork?

2021.10.13 15:13 PrimalJay [TOMT][VIDEOGAME][90's/2000s] Looking for a PC game from the late 90's, early 2000's. Halo-like FPS with customizable character. More info in post.

In the late '90s and early 2000s, my dad brought home a bunch of these Twilight CD-ROMs. They were filled with all types of full games and demos. I was talking to a friend about these disks and we both remembered a halo-like FPS that came on one of the many disks. The only things we can remember are:- Found somewhere on one of the twilight disks.
- It wasn't a full game, just a demo level.
- The game was set in a sci-fi-esque world.
- The game had a character load-out screen where you could attach different weapons to the armor.
- About the armor; the closest we can compare it to is a mix of Master Chief and Doom guy armor.
- When loading into the demo-level, a loading screen would show your character in an industrial elevator (or it was a spaceship, not sure?).
- The demo level had a few enemies and was set on a kind of island. On the island there were large metal pillars/columns and a very distinct alarm sound would be constantly on in the background, growing louder when coming closer to a pillar.
I hope someone can figure out which game this is!
If I remember any more, I will edit this post.

2017.01.06 19:06 grifterb Printing PS2 Covers for DVD Cases

I am planning on printing some ps2 covers for a couple of games that I have, which have no dvd cover label or case. I am planning on purchasing regular size dvd cases, which are I assume 14mm ones. I was wondering, if any one has any experince printing ps2 game covers for cases? I have some basic questions, which I believe may prove to be useful for anyone who would like to do something similar, if answered.
1) Is there a specific paper that I need to use? I will not be printing them with a personal printer. There is a shop near that deals with that kind of stuff. The guy said that he could print the covers to glossy paper in color in any size I want. Is there a speicifc thickness for the paper that I need to use?
2) I'm not clear on print sizes. The covers that I've found on the internet (retail covers, not custom ones, because I am going for the originals) vary by a couple of pixels, but are usually around 3225x2156. Appearently the print size is supposed to be something around (273 or 274 mm) x (183 or 184 mm). However it is about the exact size of the case itself. Shouldn't there be some sort of overfill so that the paper will actually fit right in?
I found this website, which supposedly creates a pdf of the scanned image of the cover that you upload for the exact size print. Is this reliable?
http://www.printdvdcover.com/
3) Finally, the covers themselves. The ones that I have are of varying quality. Most of them are pretty good, like this one:
http://www.covergalaxy.com/PS2/Shin+Megami+Tensei+Nocturne/Cove
The only problem with this one is that the NTSC U/C label on the slit is slightly curved. This one on the other hand is somewhat worse:

Because it looks like it was printed on canvas rather than glossy paper before it was scanned. I do not know how it would look after the print, but would it look considerably worse compared to the first one? Does anyone have any experience with this?
I would be very happy if someone who printed covers in the past could inform me on the subject.

2014.02.05 20:31 metroidfan220 Looking for where to have game covers printed

So, Reddit pointed me earlier to cdcovers.cc which has high quality jpegs for a lot of game covers. But I can't seem to find anywhere to have them printed online - has anyone here done this before? I'm looking to fit some garage sale finds into cases nicely.

2013.08.21 17:11 aronskylar Where to find covers for used games?

cdcovers.cc used to be great for other systems but they don't have Wii U covers. I buy most of my games used and most of the time they don't have the real covers.

2013.06.28 09:57 CarolineJohnson [REQUEST][PS2] DDR Supernova 2

The only full case art I can find that's print/use ready (this one) is just not good. Also it has Anime Center watermarks all over it. Also it's just terrible because the back is just ripped from DDR Extreme 2, meaning most of the information and a few of the screenshots show things that aren't in Supernova 2.
I was able to find the official front, but no spine or back, so I'm kind of lost for what to use.
Anyone got anything I'd actually not be embarrassed to use?
