If I'm posting and rambling too much y'all ignore me. I've just found such community here and it's so helpful.
So, I know a lot of the advice I see in this thread and from AA folks (I don't attend currently but I think it's super helpful!) is that you need to have hobbies. I have an abundance of those. I have never been short on hobbies, I write, paint, read, crochet, am really into movies, I cook, draw, color, love board games and puzzles.
...but somehow when I get the urge to drink I can't... Distract myself? The urge is so strong and overwhelming that the idea of doing any of that stuff just seems annoying to me. Most of the time I just sit around until I'm tired enough to lay down. I have a lot of trouble sleeping as I have had chronic insomnia all of my life. So I lay in bed until it gets too late to reasonably go get anything to drink (but I'm surrounded by 24hr options anyway) and I just...am mad. I get so annoyed and irritated when I decide I want a drink. Which is most days. And I usually don't drink. But how are y'all doing all this stuff? Did you have to wait until later into your sobriety to care about doing any of it?
I don't know how to say what I want to say. Just that when I get that urge, I get so MAD that I "can't" drink that I waste a lot of time doing just nothing. There's so many projects I could be catching up on, books I could be finishing faster than I am (I do read pretty consistently) and movies I could be watching. But I just don't want to do any of it.
The people closest to me tell me they can tell when I'm craving a drink because I won't "commit" to anything. I won't engage in social activities, I won't get started on my crochet or reading in the evenings, I won't even start a movie. It just feels impossible and paralyzing in those moments.
How do I stop wasting so much time thinking about drinking even when I'm not? Does the obsessiveness go away in time? Is it actually time wasted even if I'm not drinking? Because it really feels like it when I COULD be doing anything else. I'm tired of scrolling through social media not even really seeing anything passing on my screen because I'm thinking about alcohol and how I can't have any.
Anyway, idk if this made any sense at all...but thanks for listening y'all.

Bungie, it's time to admit that titans suck. My female exo titan (Sexi-6 (who i have written a 542 page lore book for(she has synthocep thigh enhancements and fought in the battle of stalingrad))) doesn't have the option to remove clothes in non- combat areas. Also, prismatic is the worst subclass ever and solar and arc and void and strand and stasis all suck in onslaught and it pains me and its time to admit that you were wrong and I hate melee focused subclasses but I love punching and melee builds suck in deadstiny and the only effective Titan build is melee and all the hunters tease me because of my weight and the warlocks won't let me join their secret club and zavala won't speak to me and budgie sunset siva d1 alpha vet evaverse cayde DAE FOMO single father of 16

I don't know if this is well-known thing, but I just discovered and feel need to share this.
I play mobile so don't have much play speed. It didn't create any problem until battlegrounds duo. If my opponents have beasts or undead, combat after tier4 is sooo long. It feels like eternity and after combat finished I have between 30-45 sec. If I play naga or pirates can't even play my cards correctly.
One time I disconnected, after game recon voila I have 110 sec. I believe if game starts combat it can't recon to combat so it just skip to buying stage. Now if game looks too long to skip I just close game and reopen again.

I heard a lot about Dungeon Crawler Carl, like A LOT. So i decided to give it a try.
Need to mention that i'm usually not quite fond of LitRPG genre, i have read some webcomics, but mainly because of story and characters - the RPG part was the thing i really disliked.
DCC made a good impression on me - i was surprised and really enjoyed the first book. Can't say it's an example of high literature and distinguished uniqueness (Omniscient Reader was there before DCC, just to mention), but it was a well-built story, with a good balance between action and world explanations, so you're not being bored while reading it.
Also i liked the fact that most of problems happening with Carl was the result of his own decisions rather than just the manifestation of writer's will, so it's like in a real rpg game where you suggested to choose good but harder way or vice versa.
So i decided to not waste time and bought the second book and there is the point where the series became problematic for me.
First thing - the balance between action scenes and non-combatant activity was disrupted. If most action sequences in first book felt more unique, now they felt more like some ordinary grinding activity. I know, i know - it's all about disappearing the effect of freshness when you're digging into some series, but nevertheless.
Second - quests appeared and it's the point author (in my opinion) failed a bit, because i felt no compassion at all. I guess it's partially because it's hard for me to be compassionate to artificially created beings with no free will and i can't even imagine in which way somebody in that universe could be interested in TV show with that characters, so quest with elite character was boring in my opinion, it's a personal thing i guess, but i can't find the reason to like it. Quest which took place in the second part of the book was even more weird - Carl accepted the quest because of his compassion to random NPC, but when she died he was like "Oh, that's sad but lets go on" and quest turned out be the freaking hidden apocalypse quest, which was impossible to predict, so yea, it's kinda opposite to the thing i liked from the first book. Technically Carl struggled after his own decision, but man, how it was possible to predict that?
There are other small problems i found, but don't wanna be too meticulous. That's why i kinda disliked the second book and i guess i'll stop reading this series. In the first book Carl assisted the group of weak and helpless people and you could say it's a cheap trick, well yea, but still better than assisting no-free-will dummies.
So what do you think about it, guys? I'm not asking should i read it further or not, not asking to convince me to read it further - quite stupid, but many people here asking for such things - i'm rather interested what you guys, especially series fans, think about second books in comparison with first one?

[So when Solar and Lunar were first made, they were performance animatronics that performed at the Lights Out Theatre. And they weren't named Solar and Lunar back then, but rather Sun and Moon. Classified as a light-sensitive animatronic, in the presence of light, Sun would be in control and when it was dark, Moon came out.
When they were moved to Daycare, they were both reprogrammed to be made more Daycare Attendant-like. Sun ended up in charge of playtime, and Moon placed in charge of naptime. The children adored being around Sun, they got to play whatever games they liked and had loads of fun. The children, being children, didn't like naptime, because that's boring! They wanted to play, not sleep. So Moon often had to scramble around, putting the kids back to bed. The children loved Sun, but didn't bother much with Moon.
And then Moon felt... Neglected, in a way. Sun got most of the attention because Sun was cheery and bright, but Moon apparently ruining the children's fun by trying to get them to sleep. Weren't the two meant to work together? Moon felt like they just weren't good enough. And they were jealous. They wanted to be appreciated, but they were often just cast to the side because they were only the Moon. And the Moon can't shine brightly like the Sun, because the Moon only reflects light from the Sun.
And then, Moon started to malfunction. It's not clear why it happened, but Moon started to act out more. They were almost... Forceful, in getting the kids to sleep. Some children were so terrified to the point that they didn't dare to sleep without the lights on. Which of course, made the situation worse.
And Sun was worried about Moon. Moon and been rather... Distant, lately, not talking to Sun much in their shared headspace. Moon just seemed... Off, too. Sun hoped their "twin" was okay.
.......... Moon hurt a child. They hadn't meant to, but they did. They really hadn't meant to, they promised. But the damage was done. Fazbear Entertainment attempted to remove Moon entirely from Sun, but failed. Moon remained. So the company decided that they would just have generators in the Daycare, so that the lights could always be turned back on. Keeping Sun in control, and Moon restricted. Sun developed a paranoia with Moon, enforcing one, single rule. Keep the lights on.
Sun and Moon.... argued. Before Moon truly began to change, the two had argued. That's why Sun didn't immediately suspect something was wrong, they'd assumed that Moon was just... Mad at them, for some reason.
Sun had said a lot of things to Moon. Things that they weren't shouldn't have said. They didn't mean it. They'd never mean to say something so hurtful to their counterpart. But they did.
"You're just.... You're just a parasite, Moon!"
Sun remembers Moon's hurt expression. Sun remembers frantically trying to apologise, nothing. Why had they said that? Hi, Overwatch fresh from install is running at 20fps, sometimes dipping to 2fps when in game. In addition, audio is very crunchy and lag spikes last 10 seconds and are very frequent so game is un playable.
I am running it on a ASUS Vivobook 15 X512 laptop. I have tried following many yt videos which mess with the in game settings- which for me do not fix the problem at all.
I did recently update my drivers which also changed nothing. I understand my laptop is a bit old, but even on the lowest graphics it runs like a potato as soon as I get into combat.
I don’t have alot of knowledge on how these things work and was just wondering if anyone would be able to help please :)

Just to be clear i am indeed speedrunning the combat part, i never liked turn combat games but i decided the play this game for the history that people told me that was good, and it is pretty nice.
My question is: i'm using a super late game persona ( i think) izanagi no okami who is lv 89, so how come i'm not oneshotting lv 26 ambushed enemies anymore? (i don't know much about the power scaling on the game btw so thats might be normal) is there anything i am not doing? do i need to get a better weapon or gear?

I've played a some of Elden Ring and I'm still playing, loving it so far might be my favourite game oat tbh.
I've also shelved Witcher 3, found the controls a bit jarring and confusing, but I haven't dropped it, will definitely get to it, just dont have the time to invest in a big game.
Finished Detroit BH. Didn't love it, but I love the concept, found the game a bit too short and the ending i got was meh.

Other details: The opening scene from what I can remember, starts with your player character talking to a dude that's just been stabbed and is bleeding out. The blood graphics were exactly the same as Tenchu's textures. I remember my brothers playing it and doing wacky shit with maybe a debug mode or something, they could change the blood color, and make it pulsate in a rainbow like palette. I think the setting was in feudal Japan, and was about samurais or ninja. All I can really remember is that the combat was mind blowing, at least to me as a kid.
Any help is greatly appreciated, I've been trying to find this game for years and they can't remember shit.

"Want a Kulade?"
Sam and Jessica stopped dead in their tracks, studying the man that had approached them. He wore a vibrant yellow suit with giant logos, and was beaming ear to ear, as he presented two cans of soda.
"Is this a marketing stunt?" asked Jessica, all too familiar with those sorts of gimmicks. Prior agency work had left her a little jaded.
"Yes, yes," said the man. He had a thick accent. "Mark-e-thing. All country. Drink!"
"Taste any good?" little Sam asked, eyeing the soda. It had a neon-vibrant design. Yellow, green, but perhaps a little too inspired by Mountain Dew.
"Young Sir, specially enriched! Here –"
"No, thank you," said Jessica. She faked a smile and pulled Sam away. They continued and saw a multitude of people passing by with Kulades in hand. Happy smiles. Feverish chatter about the taste and tingling sensations.
Protecting Sam from unhealthy stuff was difficult. Aggressive targeted advertising, peer pressure, freebies ... hell, she'd used those tactics herself.
"Moom," Sam pleaded.
Jessica shook her head. Once you became loyal to a brand, it was game over. And soft drinks ... you'd become addicted, gain weight, use it as a substitute for emotional comfort ...
"Excuse? Who likes the Kulade?"
Another man accosted them, also wearing the yellow suit. He fished out two cans from a large yellow duffel bag, trying to hand them over.
"No," said Jessica. "Thank you."
"Dumb bitch," the man muttered. Jessica felt herself reddening with rage. But for the sake of Sam, she showed restraint and walked away.
"Why can't I have one?"
"Because it's bad for your teeth," said Jessica. She had lots of arguments like that.
None of them worked.
And further down the street she saw a van parked in a crowded square. Hundreds of people were lined up, pushing and shoving in rampant fear of missing out.
"Ma'am? Sir? Want Kulade?" said a woman in a yellow suit, dangling a can.
They were everywhere. It had to be a massive operation.
Sam perked up. "Please?"
"No!"
"BUT MOOOOM!"
Suddenly, her ears rang with deafening howls coming from all directions. Air-raid sirens blared, now mingling with distant wails of sirens from police enroute.
Jessica's heart skipped a beat. Her eyes instinctively sought the sky in anticipation of a threat that did not immediately reveal itself. What the hell?
And then her phone joined in, chiming with a strange, incessant noise she'd never heard before.
A message took up the entirety of the screen:
Emergency Alert
TERRORISM. DEADLY CONTAMINATION WITH TOXIC POLLUTANTS. RADIOACTIVITY. DO NOT DRINK THE KULADE. THIS IS NOT A DRILL.
Sam looked at his mother and tensed. He knew she'd be mad. He hurriedly emptied the can he'd been given, gulping down the few remaining drops.
Jessica screamed.

This story takes place over the course of about 2 ish years so details may get a little jumbled, so please bare with me. Let me start this story by setting the stage and important characters.
Dm - pretty okay guy but a little hot headed at times (This is mildly important)
Me - warlock fighter multi class
K - monk and problem player
There are a few other players but they don't really play too much of a role in this story, so I'll bring them up as needed.
We were playing Rime of the Frostmaiden, my first long term campign and the first character that I geniunely enjoyed and charished. Like I said above, I was playing an Aasimar warlock fighter, who was in the rime escaping a bounty on her head and was making ends meet by smuggling goods in and out of the ten towns. I loved her so much.
The campign starts and everything is fine for the most part, there are some in character disagreements but it was all in good fun, or so I thought. K's character constantly called my character evil for worshipping the Raven queen (hexblade warlock), before any of the problems actually start to arise its non stop and I quote, "Your a smelly stinky warlock drow!" I worked with my dm when making my charcter, and we decied that she was techinally a half helf, her fatehr being a dark elf. The only thing that made her stand out as anything else was the fact that she was well over six feet tall and build like a brick shit house.
I found out after these first few sessions that this player was the kind to run ahead of the party, without telling anyone in character, and get into trouble. The first time this happened and they showed their true colors was when we were exploring a mineshaft and turns out there was a Grell hiding in there under the specific condition, written IN THE BOOK mind you, that it would only come out if someone were in the room ALONE. Can you guess who found it and almost died as a result? If you guessed K, then you would be right. After a battle and K almost going down, almost, they start to raise hell and say that it wasn't fair and they couldn't do anything (The grell had them grappled and held in the air the majority of the fight while everyone else peppered it with spells). The DMm had to tell them that it wasn't an encounter that he made, that it was in the book and supposed to be there.
We continue with our sessioned and what not, having an occational out burst from K about the game being too hard from them splitting the party and running off. Things do start to bubble when the dm punishes K in game for their antics. For example, they start acting out of line with their gods beleifs and their god stops talking to/interacting with them, to which K whines and throws a fit over. A few more issues that we run into along the way include, but are not limited to

• K threatening to burn down a mans house because they losyt a fight. This fight was something set up by a fight club, with rules. The whole point of the fights were to rank up and challenge the champ.
• K breaking into their moms house through the chimmney and getting their ass lit on fire.
• K constantly stealing from the people of the ten towns, which if you know, are starving and activley dying.
• K complaining during almost every combat that it was unfair, unbalanced, and not fun. All the while everyone else, myself included, was having a great time
• K leaving call multiple times during session, espesially during combat, and blaming it on ADHD. This specific one pissed both me and the dm off, who I stated was a hot head before. He did not take kindly to his time and resourses being wasted. I was upset because I also have ADHD and found a ways to manage it during sessions, even offered to help K! But they always turned me down and just continued with leaving session and upseting the dm over it, while contining to blaim it on a mental illness that them and I shared.

The major two events that earn this post its title goes as follow, in this order.
My charcter was assasinated.
Her past caught up with her and she was killed, bled out in the middle of the tundra. But the dm and I talked about this, and it was meant to happen. You see, the dm sent me some cool prostetic homebrew that I really wanted to use. So we made a plan for my character to get killed, lose an arm in the process and be brought back as a reborn with an arm made of magic from the Raven Queen. What I wasn't expecting was the dm to give me a choice in letting my character die or taking the reserection in exchange for soemthing. The original trade would have been that she comes back to life but no matter what she or her father did, she and him would forever have their fates severed and couldnt do anything to save eachother.
This is a deal my character would not have taken, and I would have let her stayed dead to keep in charcter. But the dm threw me a bone and gave me a different deal instead. To which every time she died here after, she would have to stay dead for a longer and longer time, each time. Like that stop motion Pinoccio moive if you've seen it. While the dm and I were talking about it, I thought it would be funny to just roll new stats to keep everyone on their toes as we ended session before I made my decision.
Que K absolutly losing their mind in our general chat, saying that if my character dies then they wanted a new character too. The only reason this would be an issue was because we had lost a lot of the original party, K and myself being the only characters left. The Dm had even stated a while before that if we lost all the pcs that he would consider ending the campign, as no ones character would have the same inititave to act and all that. So K threaning to make a new character because I might make a new character, made things more complicated. I had put almost a year of my time at this point and didn't want it to go down the drain because of this. Which also plays into why the dm game be an easier deal for my character to take for her life back.
They had an actual break down over this, why? I still have no clue.
The second event was a dragon encounter. An Adult Black Dragon that was destorying the Ten Towns.
It was the most high stakes encounter we had ever had at that point, and everyone was stressed to say the least. My self and the artificer cast fly on eachother so we can actually reach the dragon who keeps doing fly by breath attacks. After almost an hour and a half of combat we finally slay the dragon, with myself landing the final blow. I was fucking estatic! My first dragon encounter and was the one to kill it. K however, wasn't happy.
Imeadiatly they start screaming about how they couldn't land a hit on the dragon and were useless for the fight. Saying that the Dm ran the encounter wrong, which upset the dm who was once again running a written encounter from the module. They kept screaming over the vc while we all tried to calm them down. It ended with the relativly calm barbarian pc who snapped and went off on them. There was so much yelling and fighting that I just left. I heard from the dm after the fact that K threatened to leave, which I guess they thought would work like it had in the past, but everyone who was left in vc told them to go ahead.
They stayed and we continued to have issues with them threatening to kill off their character if things didn't go their way or they weren't the mvp of every session. Needless to say, the dm kicked them after a few more sessions.

It’s exactly as the title says. I’ve been with my fiancé for 4 going on 5 years, our relationship has been amazing up to this point. We were talking about marriage, buying a house, kids….
I’ll try to keep on track. 2 months ago my friend asked me if my fiancé is bi also (I am bi) and I said no. He proceeded to show me a grindr post with my fiancé on it, his picture that I recognize from years ago when we first started dating. I immediately tried to confirm. This is when I found out the important fact that you have to pay to tap on any profile u want for grindr (this will be relevant later) I paid my friend so we could see his profile. My heart sank. I felt sick. And I made an attempt on my Life immediately after but was saved by nearby railway officers. I couldn’t deal with the pain. when I finally did come home (we live together) he was surprised to see me because I was supposed to be at work (I work 2 jobs, 1 full time in the day and a part time at night a few times a week) when I came in, he was in the game. Everything looked so normal, it didn’t look like he was being nefarious or anything and I think that hurt me more. Just knowing he could have been doing this the whole time right next to me and I would never know, it hurt.
I confronted him by giving back my ring. I told him he broke the promise it stood for and to keep it. He tried to put it back on me and asked what’s wrong. I just cried. I thought I would be mad when I saw him, but I saw the years we spent together in his eyes. I asked him if he was hiding anything from me. I told him I wouldn’t be mad if he can admit it. I wanted him to be more hurt but he defended himself saying he doesn’t know what I’m talking about. I dropped the bomb that I saw his Grindr account. He said he’s not gay or bi or even questioning and that it must be someone else. I didn’t believe him. I told him I knew about him having the account for a long time. I just needed the truth. This is where I take a brief moment to explain that I’ve seen emails and AppStore notifications about Grindr. Stuff like “even if you delete the app it will not stop your subscription “ and I saw he had texts with a man where he said that he (my fiancé) was trying to come through and fuck him. This was the second year of us dating that I found this. I said I saw the notification about Grindr but nothing about the texts. Back then he said it was spam. We lived together already. I left it alone, there wasn’t any other proof of it and I did not know that you had to pay for it back then(yeah I know that the part about the subscription in the notification should’ve tipped me off but I was going through a lot back then) Back to the present, he refused to admit it. I threatened him and he stayed adamant. I asked him if he would tell me if he was gay and he said ofc. That he wouldn’t tell his very religious parents but would tell at least me. He’s been cheated on by a woman being with a woman. I didn’t think he would do that. So I let it go. For then. Then I found femboy porn in his searches. My friend that found this out is becoming trans. I felt sick knowing that my best friend was a better match for him than me. Our sex life is up and down. It’s amazing when it happens but it doesn’t happen often. I’ve gone 8 months without sex at one time during our relationship. 1 time every month to 2 months is our constant average. I was told by other people that while that isn’t normal for our age group, it happens. Since then, I haven’t worn my ring. I’m not cold to him, I still love him with all my heart. I’m still affectionate, but it hurts to sleep next to him. I hate that I have to second guess him. I want this to work but it feels like I’m beating a dead horse. I have no family. I have very few friends and I am the friend out of all my friend groups that has gotten their shit together the most. We have a place together. His family loves me. I know all his friends. I feel like my life is in shambles… Why bring this up today? Because I got STI tests for both of us shortly after this came out (he agreed hesitantly bc he said if I’m clean he’s clean) and it turns out I have stage 1 kidney failure. I may leave this earth and have no one by my side til the end. I’m scared. I’m not going to get treatment, it’s my decision and I don’t want to be on a ton of meds the rest of my life. Is our relationship salvageable? We’ve had so many great times and he has helped me grow as a person so much. Same for me to him. I love that we bring out the best in eachother. But now what… Sorry if I rambled. I would appreciate any advice

Not sure if the devs are even looking at Reddit posts anymore but I think this game just needs a relaunch. It needs a different name cuz Rogue Company just isn’t catchy enough. It literally sounds like a lame mobile game. Remove the game, fix all the bugs, work on some sweet gameplay trailers and teasers and just go for a rebrand. That’s the only thing I can think of. This game is amazing. Nothing like it. I’m just sad to see them giving up on it so soon. Don’t waste mad potential because of mistakes of the past, it’s still salvageable.
Nobody even knows this game exists lol. Imo this game is way better than Valorant. Just rebrand and focus more on marketing.

You know how some songs can be stuck in your head? Maybe they have a catchy melody, memorable rhythm or fun lyrics to sing. Those are really fun to play in a rhythm game. Unfortunately, most of the songs in the current event are not like that (ignoring the lack of lyrics). So far, the best bgms that I found to be fun to play belong to Nahida, Zhongli, Yoimiya, and potentially Kirara. For example, Neuvillette's music is awesome if you're in a theatre or as a combat/cinematic bgm. But for a rhythm game, not so much. But again, considering these are not musics created for a rhythm game in the first place, I think the trend will continue. Although, I also believe they have a way to make it work if they try.
Next, why is the vertical space for notes on mobile so short? On PC, the screen real estate is comfortable enough. But sadly, I'm not acclimated to playing on PC. Meanwhile on mobile, I can't even increase the note speed without the notes flying so quickly past my screen. There's a way to solve this and I'm sure the devs have already seen how it's done on mobile.
And then there should be additional tags applicable to players' custom beatmaps. All of the official beatmaps are playable using 2 fingers, or in other words, thumbs for mobile players. But when I browse the custom beatmaps, I mostly find ones designed for PC, console and tablet players. This should be easy to implement.
Finally, I can't say that I'm nowhere near the ranks of top tier rhythm game players, but here's an example of songs (at least we can agree) that are catchy enough for a rhythm game. And this layout of notes should be comfortable enough for players using any device.

For context, my parents aren't total Ns, but they have N tendencies. Mostly they're just very full of themselves and think of themselves as the know-all experts on the lives of others. They also do this thing that I'll refer to from now on as the "you don't say" thing. Here's what this is. You know how sometimes a kid will say something really farfetched like they saw a dinosaur out their window, but they're a good kid and you don't want to stifle their imagination so you're like "whoa, really? Cool!" That's the tone my parents use. Basically what it translates to is "I hear you saying this but I don't believe you and I'm using this tone so you know how un-seriously I'm taking this." All right, now on to the stories. These all happened during the time they stayed with us.
First off, one of them, if not both of them, will complain about EVERYTHING. Like we'll go to a restaurant. It's either too expensive and we need to go somewhere else, or it's too cheap therefore it's low-class (they're pretty loaded now that they're empty nesters). Picking a restaurant is like going through the process of a Bill becoming a Law. Same with going grocery shopping. No, don't get that thing, get this other thing. Why? Because it's cheaper than the other thing so you get more of a bargain, or because it's more expensive than the other thing so therefore the quality is better, whatever, there's no consistency. When I cook I have to completely wow them every time because anything less reminds them of the teenage boy who could barely make instant ramen and they criticize every aspect of my cooking if it's not up to their standards.
Now let's talk about their beliefs. I won't say what they are, but they have this idea that my/my wife's beliefs and values line up with theirs. They don't. Quite the opposite in fact. We are very open about our beliefs so they know where we stand. That doesn't stop them from griping to us about how people of certain belief systems are destroying our country (we're Americans). I will mention that we are among the kinds of people they're talking about, but they're just like "yeah yeah whatever, so anyway..." and they keep right on talking about it like I said nothing at all.
Then there's this idea that my wife is stupid. First off she's not. She's smarter than me. She is in grad school for a STEM field and is very street smart as well. Apparently when I was at work (I work early mornings and am off by early afternoon which is when I spent time with all of them), she was showing them around town and they were talking about how they needed me to show them around, as if she was unable. Saying stuff like "OP will know how to do this,"or whatever.
Then there's the extremes. They always describe things in the extreme. Like something isn't just loud, it's an ear-splitting offense, that kind of thing. And this translates to things we do too. Like every morning we'd make them a pot of decaf coffee after my wife and I drank our full-caff coffee in the morning. One morning I made my wife and I's full pot of coffee first as usual. I was taking it upstairs to her when I hear one of the parents say "they've never made us coffee yet." Really? Never?
Now here's the big one, and it's the one where the "you don't say" thing comes into play. So I have INSANE guilt over buying anything for myself that I don't necessarily need. My parents grilled into me that I always need to save, save, save, and so buying anything for fun is bad. I was legit yelled at and scolded for buying stuff when I was a kid and a teen. Because of this I basically never buy anything for myself. Even cheap stuff causes me to spend 30 minutes pacing the store wondering if I need it. For the record, I'm pretty financially comfortable, though not in the "loaded" category like my parents. So when it comes to electronics, I'm years behind. I didn't stop using my ipod until 2019 and that's only because it finally broke. My smart phone is seven years old. My last laptop was literally falling apart (the plastic making up the frame was cracking and warping and I physically couldn't move the lid past where it currently was) and the hard drive was failing. The computer before that had many internal parts die and it took maybe 3 or so hard-bootups before one finally stuck and it booted up for me. Basically, I hold onto technology for a long time. My parents saw technology as "toys," so buying them was bad. So I finally bought a new laptop. My dad found out and started criticizing me, saying I'm like those people who HAVE to have the latest iphone or car model every year because I freak out if I'm not seen as trendy. I told him that's not the case and he did the "you don't say" thing to me. He also found out it was a gaming laptop and got mad, saying that money that could have gone to feed my children or pay the bills was used to go toward a child's hobby (it was the cheapest gaming laptop I could find FYI). Yes, he's one of those that thinks all games are for children and M rated games are just a marketing gimmick to make young kids feel edgy. He believes all computers should be for doing work, so he got mad at me when I said it wasn't. Also for the record I almost never buy games because I feel too guilty when I do, so I mostly play F2P stuff. I also don't own any consoles. The last console I bought was a gamecube.
Anyway they're gone now so that's good.

I'm looking for armors that feel like the courier actually made themselves, and have "courier" branding so to speak, so that I can actually feel unique within that faction when I join them. In other words: Normal armor of a faction made to be unique to the courier.
For example: Courier Ranger Armor - Customisable In Game
A customizable ranger combat armor mod, from which you can add design like a "Benny was here" decal, lucky 38 card strapped on the helmet or bullethole to the visor. Now the courier can be distinguished from other normal NCR veteran rangers and given special respect.
I wanted a great khan or BoS armor for the courier but nothing exists like that sadly. Nevertheless, any faction armors are welcome.
