First of all, I’m aware of what I’m looking for is overpowered and not at all how the game was designed to be played but it’s fun for me so do you and ima do me.
Wondering if there is my perfect truck mod out there. Falling in love with the IX quad steer and it does exactly what I need except for logs. Can’t find an ad on for a log bed that works with it, but it certainly has room for all three sizes of logs and a crane. Otherwise it’s a five slot beast that can repack and roll on.
Or if anyone has found an add-on of what I’m looking for for the IX quad steer then please let me know. The plan is to haul a short, medium, or long MoreLogs trailer with a corresponding bed that you could load from trailer to truck as needed

• Needs to be able to haul short, medium, and long logs on its body, no trailer (not all three sizes at the same time obviously)
  
• Able to have a logging crane (currently love the LP4 Omni crane mod)
  
• When not using a log would like a 4 to 5 slot bed
  
• Decent speed and stability
  

We've had the Ioniq 5 2023 for about a year and a half and since then it's developed some of the common issues I've seen here.

• Trunk rattle
• Android Auto USB disconnection
• Overheating charge port when charging

Unfortunately, the closest dealership (5 minutes down the road with the next closest over thirty minutes away) has been frustrating to work with.
When the trunk started rattling, we made an appointment and took it in. They had to schedule us more than a month away due to their busy schedule. But then on the appointment day, they took it for an hour and then called back saying they couldn't fix the issue because they needed to order parts that won't be here for a week. Also they can't bring us in for another month due to the busy schedule again. Why didn't they order the parts before we got there...? Also, 6 months after they fixed it in the second appointment, the trunk started rattling again. Fun.
The car started running into issue when charging at home where it would intermittently stop charging until I restarted it manually. This is the same charger we've had since we bought the car and this has only started to happen in the last couple of months without any changes. We took it to the dealership and they asked what speed we were charging it at. I told them 240v at 40A and they said that's much higher than what the car is rated for and told me to turn down the amperage. Said there's nothing they can do even though the rated amperage is printed on the charging port door as 48A...
I brought up the Android Auto USB issue on our first appointment (same one as the trunk door above) and they told me they couldn't do anything about it because they couldn't reproduce the issue. We had a second appointment and they told me the same thing. On the third appointment, I took one of their techs on a ride around the block and we only saw it happen once, but now the service guy on the phone they says they think it's an issue with my phone port. The phone is only 5 months old and this problem occurs with my wife's phone and our previous phones. They won't fix it.
This is more of a rant with the dealership than anything else. We love the car and have enjoyed it all this time, but man I kind of miss going to the Ford dealership in our town. They fixed all kinds of things on our old car without question, but this Hyundai dealership has been nothing but frustrating. I need to try the other dealership in town, but it's way away from where I work and is owned by the same guy.

I built it myself, and the problem is that the pc boots, fan speeds ramp up to 100% for a second, and then the computer just chills while showing nothing on screen. The specs are: B550M Aorus Elite, R7 5700X, 4070S, Lexar NM620 1tb, Lexar 2x16GB 3600Mhz. What could be the cause of the problem? And also thanks in advance for any help. (I'll provide more information if needed)

I’m having a hard time figuring out what it’s actually called.
Planning on getting a nice (kinda expensive)sedan. Ground clearance is acceptable-ish but on the lower side. Unfortunately, it won’t clear a few speed breaker mountains in my gated community.
Instead of doing a permanent lift, I want to install an on the fly adjustable suspension. I would like to avoid air suspension if possible. I saw a 10yr old video on YouTube where this American company used hydraulics along with coilovers to achieve the same result(raising for road use, lowering for expos and shows).
I’d like to retain the current height for highways, ring roads, bypass roads and other good roads in general. But I want to lift the car before riding into sussy roads.
Anyone know if someone sells/installs these kinds of suspension kits here in India? Preferably south India so I can drive the car to them..
I’m even ready to import if necessary. I know there are a few good shops in Kerala where they have the experience to install any kind of suspension. But if I’m importing the suspension, ideally it would need to have failsafes. It should still work at the lowest lift even if it fails so I can use the car while waiting on replacements/spares.
Anyone know of such suspensions?

It started when I was driving down a backroad and I see blue lights behind me. I immediately panic and gas it to over 100 mph, throwing shot out the window, rigs, a half Oz, scales, everything. The blue lights are gaining on me so I hit a dirt road, going insane speeds down this bumpy ass road, eventually, I realize I've rode the back tires off of the vehicle, so I jump out and hit the woods. I see the lights approaching and see flashlights coming into the woods, mind you it's pitch black and it's in a marshy, real rugged terrain, I'm running full speed doing flips and shot over hills and running into shot and the flash lights are coming up on me, and they're getting closer and closer and I am thinking fuck I am about to go to jail. They come up on me and everything goes black.
I wake up not knowing how long I've been laying there and I feel like I've been shot in the chest with a shotgun, I can't move my body and I think I'm dieing. I see a star in the sky that I was fixated pm, and I'm thinking that's where I want to be. Eventually it feels like I die, my body is making weird ticking noises and I feel like I just lose my body, I come out of my body and have these giant angel wings and I start flying up to the star, when I'm about halfway there my wings turned to bone and I fall back to the earth, then several times over, I grow angel wings again and fly away again, only to have the same thing happen again, it felt like I was being taunted that I could never make it to heaven. I eventually snap back to my body again, and wake up another unknown time later.
I managed to stand up, and in my mind I was on this earth all alone, like in some type of purgatory. My body is so weak I can barely move, but I managed to stand up. The bottom half of my vision is solid black and the top half I can see the tops of trees, I eventually see this figure, totally black and tall with a cowboy hat on. It's just standing about 5 foot away and laughing at me. I try to pick up a big stick that was near me but my body was too weak to swing it at it. Every time I took a step forward , it just took a step back and laughed.
There is a fuzzy period here, but fast forward about 2 days later of being completely out of my mind in these woods, I stumble upon and oilfield location that had a little trailer where the workers could stay and it had a jeep parked out front. The doors were unlocked and I went inside trying to get some water out of the faucet, I didn't notice the guy asleep on the couch. No water came out, so I went into this guy's jeep, thinking totally that it was mine, got a crowbar and a wrench and went to the water main and broke into it and turned the water on. I go back inside and start ravenous drinking water out of the faucet.
The guy wakes up and at first thinks I'm a worker. He asked me if I just got hired. I told him yeah and he asked what I drove there and I told him the jeep outside. He looked at me confused and then says that's his jeep. I argued with him and told him that's my friends jeep and I'm borrowing it. He realizes something is fucked up and eventually runs me off while having the phone to his ears, undoubtedly calling the cops.
Three more days go by and im completely out of my mind, everything is like the scariest thing you can imagine and i dont know whats real of fake. Im malnourished, dieing, and freaking the fuck out. eventually I think the cops are after me, and I remembered storing some dope in my boot like two years, I had on big rubber duck hunting boots, and for some reason I feel like I need to cut the boots up into tiny pieces and bury it. I do this and then run for another day from imaginary police.
I come across this area of trees cut down and there is a guy like 500 yards away on the other side that I'm trying to sign language to that I need help. My tongue was so dry I couldn't yell. The guy wasn't even real and eventually waved at me and drove off. I find a few berries to eat to wet my tongue and eventually collapse in thick thorn bushes staring up at the sky with big sharp thorns in my back thinking, "this wouldn't be so bad of a place to die" I pass out and get up an unknown time later.
I finally found some sort of road and I decide to try to walk down it, but when I do, like 20 world War two bombers fly over and drop these little silver cubes, hundreds of them, these cubes hatch and there's all these miniature snipers in the woods aiming at me. I freak out and start running down this road, and in My mind I'm thinking "okay they're all trying to kill me and I'm unarmed, all I can do to make them think i have a gun is to take my sock off and put it on my hand like a pistol with my fingers" so I do this while running frantically down this road, crazy as a mother fucker.
I finally run across this house and I beat on the door like the police for like 30 seconds and eventually this 80 year old man answers, and sees this crazy fucking site, I'm shirtless, shoes less, with one sock on my hand with cuts and shit all over my body and face, eyes like saucers and looking like the wolf man or some shit. I look dead in this man's eyes and while waving my sock pistol around I tell him "look, if they told you I'm here to kill you, I'm not. I just want to use your phone. " he looks very confused and shut the screen door while calling the police.
I eventually figure fuck it this man isn't going to help me so I run off and break into his back yard. I find the faucet and turn it on and I'm up under it with my mouth open, drinking in water so desperately and fast that I'm throwing up while drinking it. A cop eventually walks up to me and asks me to come with him. He tells me he has water in the cooler in his ride and I can drink that. I am so out of my mind and thirsty and dieing that I didn't believe him and he had to pry me away from the faucet.
He was able to tell after talking to me that I was very much out of my mind and takes me to the hospital. They tell me I have a 78% chance of dieing that I had ketoacidosis and my kidneys were failing. I lived, and after 8 or 9 days of being in these woods with no food or water, out of my fucking mind, with delusions so bad I didn't know what was real or fake, I finally got released and then sent to a mental hospital for two weeks.
This was by far the worst and scariest experience of my life and I would not wish it on anyone. Stay woke friends, and never go into meth induced psychosis.

Hey Folks, Looking for advice. I'm about to jump into my first time being DM for a full campaign. We are playing Tyranny of dragons and I'm super excited. I've been DM for plenty of one shots and I've played in multiple campaigns so i know the rules pretty well and I'm relatively well versed as a player. Our forever Dm deserves a break and i stepped up to the plate looking forward to. However, immediately i need some help.
One of my players wants to be infected with Lycanthropy, specifically were-bear lycanthropy which would give them the following traits
Lycan Resistance. You gain immunity to bludgeoning, piecing and slashing damage from nonmagical attacks that aren't silvered

• Shapechanger. You can use your action to polymorph into a Large bear-humanoid hybrid or into a Large bear, or back into your true form. Your statistics, other than your size and AC, are the same in each form. Any equipment you are wearing or carrying isn't transformed. Your movement speed in Bear or Hybrid form is 40 ft., and you gain a 30 ft. climbing speed. You revert to your true form if you die.
• Keen Smell. You have advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on smell.
• Moonlit Strength. You gain a Strength of 19, if your strength isn't already higher, and a ~+1~ bonus to AC while in bear or hybrid form (from natural armor). Attack and damage rolls for your natural weapons are based on Strength.
• Natural Weapons. You gain two natural weapons which can only be used in your Bear or Hybrid form; a Bite and Claw attack. Your bite attack deals ~2d10~ piercing damage, and on a hit if the target is humanoid must succeed a Constitution saving throw (DC= 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Constitution modifier) or gain werebear lycanthropy. Your claw attack deals ~2d8~ slashing damage.
• Multiattack. You can make two claw attack

This seems kind of busted to me, especially at level 1 on a full caster. I am however a yes and kind of guy (In this case more so of a No but)
I'm looking for suggestions on how i can 1. Keep the theme of the werebear alive and 2. Keep it balanced so the rest of the party doesn't feel completely outshined.
what I'm not looking for is suggestions that just say :Don't do this.
mostly what I'm looking for is suggestions for alternatives that are balanced mechaically or Rp wise so that when i tell the player i don't think this will work i have some other options to present.

First of all lets state the obvious. He needs a rollcatcher but I am not going to go in depth with this change, because this would require new animation and Im not that creative.

• Enhanced neutral lights

With this change Conq will not be solely dependant on his mediocre foward bash to start his mixup.

• Chain heavies

Speed them up to 700ms from 800ms.
As it is, his chain heavies are simply reactable and do low dmg compared to other heros. Sure we can increase the dmg, but problem of reactivity would remain and it would still not land very often.

• Chain bash

Now guarantees a chain heavy for 22 dmg.
His bash is 800ms and feintable, but unlike other simmilar bashes like that of Jorm, Tiandi and HL, it only gets him 13 dmg. Jorm gets 26, Tiandi 20 and HL has even faster bash (700ms) and gets 26 dmg.

• Charged heavies.

Add hyper armor at 400ms.
Other then being a bait for his full block or dodge attack, I dont really see value in this move. With this change there would be another valid option, let it fly and trade. This would also improve his team fights a little bit.

• Seperate bash attacks and full block ones.

Conq suffers from very low full block punishes but we cannot just make them do more dmg, because they are the same attacks he preforms after a bash, thats why they need to be serapated.

• Flail Uppercut (full block) dmg change to 15 from 13, gains undodgeable effect
  
• Scutage Collection (full block) dmg change to 14 from 13. Gains hyper at 100ms.
  
• Same Side Chain Lights
  

FH is way past the point where light spam can be called a "valid strategy". Its purely up to someone to open training mode and train. Same side chain lights should be speed up to 500ms and dmg lowered to 13.

• Zone

Lower the dmg to 14 from 15 and make it undodgeable.
At the current speed zone is only useful on prediction to counter GBs or as heavy parry punish. This will give it some much needed utility. Other way would be to speed it up 500ms and lover the dmg 13, but game is full a zones like that, so Imo this makes it a bit more interesting.

• Superior block on dodge

As it is, its kinda useless. My idea would be to add direct 3 dmg to the bash after sucessfully superior blocking.
This may seem as low, but Conq would still get SB followup for 13 dmg for a total of 16, which is still higher then his heavy max punish and full block punish.
With Shield Basher feat total dmg would be 22.

• Feat changes

Our devs would rather jump off a clif then make new feats, so those changes will be purely numerical and some feats will be replaced.
- Tier 1
Conqueror - Capturing control zones is now 25% faster (was 15).
Body Count - Replaced by Deadly.
Those changes will improve his team fights and rotation. Body Count is a good feat, just not for Conq, his mid clean is mediocre at best.
-Tier 3
Punch Through - Replaced by Tough as Nails
Punch Through is useless on Conq because of his chain heavies being UB. Tough as Nails will help him stall fo longer, as heavies should
- Tier 4
Uninterruptible - Now Gains 50% dmg reduction. Cooldown increased to 180 seconds
Essentially replaced by longer Juggernaut without debuff. It may seem busted, but its a T4 after all. There isnt a good T4 that is not at least a little bit busted. Longer cooldown to tune it down a bit.

Can anyone confirm that they use the M18 fan to actually help speed up paint/spackle drying times?
Or are there any other fans better for just cooling your damn van/trailer down a tad? I use my Ego 765cfm blower to get the old musty air outta the trailer, but I need something different for that...AND for helping drying times!!! Thanks for the help.

i received a FNS/DNW grade in a course that I wrote the final. I contacted my professor and he told me that they are manually going through the scranton sheets for students who received FNS/DNW, but that it is taking longer than expected. This course is a prerequisite for something, and I re-enrolled myself in it for the summer just incase I need to retake it for some reason, but the drop deadline is tomorrow, and I don’t want to waste my money and my time. Is there anyone that I can contact apart from my professor that can help speed up the process of my exam being graded? My class got their grades back almost 2 weeks ago now so waiting this long for my grade is absurd.

Since I used the booster as an example of certain things you NEED to use because the game is basically making you (otherwise you’d basically be severely handicapped on EVERY mission) , let just use the booster from the new warbond as an example. Because…. Ya know, primary weapons……….. WHATEVER.
Literally today someone finally posted a video on here proving that THE NEW BOOSTER ACTUALLY works. When active, it now takes a fraction of a second less to start sprinting again after being “slowed”……….

At no point in any reality in the multiverse do I think a human being who enjoys video games came up with this idea for a (perk supposed to have a positive impact on your success in the mission) designed , programmed, play-tested, and patched this one in and said “oh yeah, this one will be a BANGER.” It is a cool concept, however, which leads me to believe that someone at AH has absolute banger ideas, while on the other hand someone else in charge of implementing said idea and entering usefulness of said idea in the form of number values absolutely fumbles the bag EVERY Single Time something or anything at all has been released the past couple of weeks. It’s almost literally all almost completely useless across the board save a select few things.
Unless you’re me who enjoys running different stuff anyway. If you do, however, then you know that it’s mostly running/kiting anyway then 75% of the time, cause you didn’t bring one of the 4 good weapons with you and because of that now your kit sucks, therefore your kinda useless when shit hits the fan.
Across the board on all boosters, I think they deserve an upgrade. Aside from the main 4 which I can’t list because (they’re listening).
Primary weapons too. AND stratagem weapons…………
Stick with me. Motivational shocks.
I would prefer this to be either instantaneous (meaning no slow effect EVER if this booster is on) and show a visible “shock” animation, or instead of getting slowed it grants a 15% speed boost with a Stam reset for 2 seconds when getting hit by bile/poison. Think Finka’s gadget from Rainbow Six, but it activates as soon as poison is detected by the armour systems.
Honestly, any positive change to this booster at all couldn’t make it overly powerful, in my opinion, and even then I would still pick the other ones before it every time. There is a slight chance depending on the planet that maybe, MAYBE it would SOMETIMES replace the one that lets you run through shrubs faster.
Think about it, you have boosters that fully resupply you when you die. Meaning you only need resupplies if you’re in the middle of long active gunfights, aka you’re NEVER actually waiting on a resupp cooldown. You have boosters that make you run like a Kenyan(as stated earlier, stam, my fave). You have a booster that allows you to take 1 extra hit before death (HUGE in this game by the way).
All boosters outside the main 4 need significant reworks. To the point where saying what it actually does OUT LOUD would sound overpowered. And STILL they would be picked less than the main 4, or be niche at best.
……..the same could be said for most primary weapons and all but about eight to twelve-ish stratagems as well.

I work for a semi governmental entity and have been tasked with procuring a camera to take photos of meetings, scenery (for owned stock and whatnot), and networking events, mostly. Secondarily, I may set up a tripod and do a little film for social videos and various stock reasons.
At my last job (for the same purpose I might add), they bought a Sony A7 IV. So. I’ve been spoiled, to say the least. I don’t technically have a budget, but I think if I asked for a $2500 camera, I’d be laughed right out of my office.
I don’t know much about cameras but I do know enough about editing to be passable, so from a newbie perspective, I need something that can do: -action shots in indoor spaces -decent FPS for social videos
Past that, I don’t really know. I’m pretty out of my depth here and learning all about this is really overwhelming.
Bonuses include: idiot-proof. I will not be the only person using this and I don’t have faith that anyone will listen to me when I explain what aperture, shutter speed, and ISO mean.

We all know how Flash gets defeated by high-tech bank robbers, which, considering
Barry/Wally's many, consistent beyond-FTL feats, should never happen, or how Batman can suddenly beat Parademons, which should scale to the extra-dimensional nature of Apokalypse and therefore easily rip the Dark Knight to literal shreds in literal milliseconds.
How can Spider-Man lose to a psychotic doctor with 4 titanium tentacles, when the former can dodge rifle bullets with ease and lift dozens of tons?
The most commonly stated answers to this dilemma? Well, they are both brain-dead:
“You’re right, please make them undefeatable gods, like Metro Man”🤓☝️
“Nooo, the plot comes first. If Superman needs to lose to Harley Quinn, so be it”🤡
One makes the plot boring, the other spits on the established power levels and lore.
Any plot in which Superman god-stomps his enemies in 0.1 nanoseconds and is home for a double date with Lois, and Batman and Selina is ridiculous and a trash plot, as is a plot in which Jim Gordon tags Wally West at full speed.
imo both of these takes are simplified, brain-dead takes.
My solution?
State and limit their strengths! How/Why is this not the default method?

This is NOT me saying we should limit Flash to 300 mph or make Batman an irl peak human, that would be boring/not work. What I am saying is that these are examples of how DC/Marvel/Manga/Hollywood editorial high command could structure heroes' powers and abilities of any kind. Just limit their powers somewhere.
The above clear examples keep the stakes high, because BS like 1 million mass punches, MFTL attack speeds and reality warping power is no longer an option. They have to work around these limits and find creative ways to use powers, instead of hitting their villains with the overused “It’s time to use my infinitely useful and powerful attack!!!”.
All heroes now need a strategy and good tactics.
They cannot magically beam to lightspeed or Whip out the Ultimate God blaster 9000.
They gotta work with Mach 2 and the normal blaster.

I currently have a Mikrotik Chateau LTE18 ax, and have had to replace the LTE with a Zyxel NR7101 to get my contracted speeds. So now I’m thinking, sell the router and replace it with a RB5009Upr plus a dedicated access point.
Some searching has led me to second-hand Ruckus R510s, though some of those recommendations are a few years old now. I also notice Unifi mentioned a lot, and there seems to be a new 7 Pro for not much more than the 6 Pro.
Fastest current device is an iPad Pro M1 (6E, think), so WiFi 7 would only be for ‘future proofing’.
Mainly I want long enough range that it covers the apartment. It would be in a central location, with only a door between it and all but one room, which would have one internal wall between it and the AP. It’s a rental, so running more cable than I already have will get annoying. It’s also not going to be possible to mount the AP on the ceiling, it will likely need to live on a shelf.
I’m reasonably technical, so if the Ruckus is harder to set up, that’s not so much of a factor.
Given my requirements, does anyone feel that I should pick one over the other (or something else entirely)?

I started this series about a week ago. My friend and I both watch an animated show called Invincible which we both love. He told me if I’m really into animated shows to check out Attack on Titan. I’ve really only watched 2 other anime before; Naruto & Death Note. Ig you can say I haven’t really dug deep into anime. But after watching this so far, it’s clear this is a must watch show even to non-anime viewers. It’s really not hard to get into. For me, it’s always really hard for me to get into any new show, thinking nothing can really meet my expectations. But whenever I do get into something that does it for me, I instantly become obsessed with it and feel the need to binge it all. Been binging aot every night and currently near the end of season 3. (Just watched the episode where they enter the cellar)
There’s so much to say why I think its a masterpiece, but il keep this piece as brief as I can. And I’m aware what I have to say here has probably been said numerous times before. So il try to avoid that.

I can imagine a lot of non-anime watchers might mistake anime as a genre of its own, not realizing they are categorized in themes of drama, comedy, sports…. Just like any other show. Here are the several themes I classify with AOT: Action, drama, dystopian, political/war, mystery.
The emphasis on War & Politics is a big one for me. They do it so well characterizing war. What a soldier does. What it does to a soldier. The large scale impacts. Also the importance of following orders, trusting your teammates and them putting their trust in you. Also a lot of sacrifice. So many people die for their collective goal of humanities freedom. It’s inspiring. Naruto does this a bit too with the whole thing about working well with your team, following command, ect. But AOT just goes way further with it and really makes it a larger part of the shows identity.
In season 1 when joining the scouts; Erwin asks those joining: “If you were ordered to die, would you do it?”. - That sentence plays huge importance for the story moving froward, and one could argue the situations some soldiers are faced with IRL when in a squad in real major war.
The world of AOT is so dark & gloomy you can get away with adding horror to one of its themes. This dark, gloomy vibe is a large part of the shows’ popular identity. It’s not only dystopian, but it’s also very anti-fascist. The characters are constantly striving for their collective goal of driving humanity towards freedom.
Another thing that makes the show pop out is obviously the Titans themselves. The idea of the titans is so cool because their scale is so wide compared to that of a regular human. Killing them is no easy feat and a titan battle has the main characters odds stacked 10:1. Their power scale makes most people scared shitless, give up and lose hope. And when the main characters do get to win, it just makes it that much more satisfying. (This is much more outlined in the beginning of the show obviously) This is where a lot of the dark gloominess in the show comes from.
Even after season 1 when its more common to see the characters effortlessly kill titans, the odds continue to get stacked against them but it doesn’t get boring at all. The show just evolves and the characters are provoked in more interesting ways.
In terms of the characters; they’re all masterful. My favourite characters right now are Levi, Mikes, and Armin (ESPECIALLY Armin after S3 EP17-18). The characters are all good and you really feel for not just the “good” characters.
The show’s obviously not afraid to kill off characters. In every battle, people die. You can say there are both more important, and lesser important characters dying in these scenes, but none of them ever feel like filler characters. They all feel like they mattered in death. Even the lesser important guys have meaning and you really feel it when these people have to sacrifice themselves for everyone else.
Even the antagonist characters eventually don’t seem like real bad guys. I’m obviously still routing for Eren and the other good guys but you begin to see the show is showing you why the bad guys aren’t bad in their own situations. Having not finished the show yet, there’s still a lot uncovered on why certain antagonists are doing what they’re doing, but it’s clear they have a strong reason for their actions and they really believe their actions are what’s perhaps best for everyone.
The runtime is more or less perfect. 4 seasons, 80-something episodes, 20 minutes each. It’s a perfect amount of time for anyone to get into. And more importantly, there’s NO filler content taking away value from the runtime. Literally 0 filler episodes. The pacing’s pretty good and they try to keep it on the faster side in order to drive the events forward, which I like.
The Plot Twists: Seems to be the biggest reason as to why people say the show’s so good. AOT does plot twists like no other. There’s quite a few “betrayals”, and moments of surprise and they come so unexpected. After seeing how they handle plot twists in this show, I’m seeing a problem in how other shows direct theirs. It’s too common for other shows to foreshadow their plot twists slightly too much, or use blatant flashbacks to allude to what’s coming. If you’re someone who already watches a lot of good shows you can already kind of predict what major things are about to unfold slightly before it happens.
Don’t get me wrong, AOT has many flashbacks too obviously (like in many anime), but they’re used pretty well for the most part. They also have minor foreshadowings too you can say but they’re very very faint and also used correctly.
For where I’m at in the series, I’m obviously referring to in Season 2, where Reiner & Berthold reveal themselves as titans. The way it was done really gives me chills. When they start talking to Eren and reveal themselves, it’s done so faintly and non-dramatic that you kinda miss it. It’s like I clearly heard what they’re saying but it just didn’t register in my mind because of the nature of the directing. They make it so their conversation is “Background Talk” rather than a dramatic reveal. No fancy music or anything like that. Really just gave an eerie vibe to it. I had to replay that scene like 3 times to understand what was going on. Then of course after their undramatic reveal; they use a flashback to explain their characters a bit further (notice how the flashback is used AFTER the reveal not before); and THEN they go to their transformation. It is only in this transformation scene that they saved for the dramatic suspense to be unleashed. Maybe I’m looking to much into the writing but I just think the nature of that plot twist was handled very well. (And of course there’s the minor foreshadowing of Berthold chomping on his hand while the castle is falling. It’s an obvious titan-shifter move, but I think it was handled right).
The action scenes are very well blended in with the dramatic parts to its credit. A common occurrence I see with good action shows is they’re good BECAUSE its more than just action. And other action shows might get undermined for not having enough of it, maybe being covered, or perhaps outshined by the more emotional scenes. I have no problem with this myself in AOT. Even in parts of the story where action is scarce for a bit I have no complaints. Perhaps my perception of this is different than others because I’m able to binge it all at once while many others had to wait up to 10 full years between seasons and parts of seasons to see all the action.
Like I said, the power scale of the titans are really the meat & potatoes of the battles being what they are. The battle strategy is really cool to get into, and how they’re going to outdo their titan opponents (Armin as a character really adds to this for me).
The battles are one thing but the fighting itself is a whole other. The actual combat and the animation of it gets the adrenaline pumping. The whole concept of the ODM gear is genius. Using gas powered grappling hooks to leap throughout their environment like a speeding bullet, and zing around everywhere to take down the titans looks like such an adrenaline rush. It gives me adrenaline just watching them, and hearing the sounds of the gear. Its iconic really. Just the idea of it. Also really fits well with the 19th century setting, the technology being where it is.
Ig I have nothing more to say about the animation. Everyone knows its top tier, along with the gore. Nothing really extra I have to add about it, it’s self explanatory. Ofc can’t forget about the OST as well, just like the ODM gear; it’s iconic, adrenaline-pumping. ‘Nuff said.

Unfortunately I already spoiled myself with a big plot twist for season 4. Whenever I get into a show like this it’s always so tempting for me to look at reviews of the show to reinforce why it’s so good, or do the character quizzes, or look at memes related to the show. That being said its too easy to spoil yourself with this.
I saw what the “final boss” looks like. (His head basically, and who it is). Really wish I didn’t see that yet, but it’s literally so hard to not get spoiled I tried my best. My friend warned me how easy the spoilers go. Told me I can’t google the show, search it on YouTube, ect. Anytime I type the shows name I’m risking anything coming up. I also know that 80% of humanity is wiped out from this “event/person”. Found that out the hard way. Other than that I’m spoiler free. I really wish I didn’t see any of that but it’s my fault ultimately and here I am. I probably shouldn’t be going on this subreddit to begin with. I’m lowering my eyes just going on this sub to post this. Not looking at anything else on this sub, not even daring to scroll to other posts. But with how far I’ve gotten in the series I really can’t hold it in and just really want to let out my thoughts so far on the show on here. Please keep the comments spoiler free for me. Just had to unload and discuss a little with you guys.

Hello. I am here because I need help. I have been experiencing lag all of a sudden and after trying to troubleshoot it on the internet without help, I am really just frustrated and want to be able to play my comfort game again.
I was playing Rimworld the last three days, and I have had no issues with lagging. I saved and quit my game and turned my laptop off to go out for lunch. After coming back two ish hours later, I booted up my computer and opened Rimworld. Once I got into my game, it was lagging so hard that it is unplayable. I thought it was weird so I restarted and nothing changed. After googling and trying the performance mods, it improved the speed a little but it is mostly unplayable still. I tried to load another game to see if it was just one, but all of them are like this now.
I am very much in the mid-game time, where I don't even have advanced fabrication yet. I only have 11 colonists, 20ish farm animals, and don't really do anything hardcore. Including the 3 performance mods that I downloaded, I only use a total of 5 mods in addition to the core and ideology contents. With all of this in mind, my lag should not be due to excessive mods or high volume of pieces on my map. Many of the forums I puruse people cite that the high number of mods (300+).
My laptop specs are: 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) 3.4GHz Inspiron 15 5510 16gb RAM (15.7gb usable)
Maybe I need to improve my hardware? But I have used this laptop countless times with the above specs and without the 3 performance enchancing mods and I did not have any trouble with lag at all. I'm so frustrated that maybe I shouldn't have turned my computer off while I went to eat. Can anyone help me?

Almost 10 years ago, I worked at this company, and one of the roles of my department was to analyze data from surveys and secondary data collection. Each quarter, we were required to design and publish the data into a handbook. After 6 months of joining the department, my manager (who joined the department 2 months after me) reassigned our tasks and projects in an attempt to reorganize the department better.
This manager was promoted internally and was notorious for kissing up to management for his benefit. He was technically not qualified for the promotion due to a different background/expertise required for our department, but one of the C-suite people liked him a lot. He did have some expertise in certain areas and could be quite smart, but he generally had an unpleasant personality, so many people in the company didn’t like him much.
Along with some three new projects, the handbook task went to me, which would be the first time for me to do it. The meeting was in February, so my first handbook would be for that year’s Quarter 1. In the department meeting where my manager announced the reassignment, I asked my colleague who had handled the handbook project before me to share and explain the usual timeline for this quarterly handbook publication. She had managed the project for 4 years and said that the normal timeline would be 6 months.
This means, for Quarter 1 data, the printed copies for publication need to be ready by 30th of September. The 6-month period includes collecting the analysis from survey managers, and for secondary data, I would have to contact the data owner and do the analysis myself. I also have to liaise and work closely with the outsourced company that does the design and printing. Keep in mind that this 6-month timeframe is normal and has been agreed upon by management for years. The timeframe also takes into account that the person managing the handbook would also have other projects that are equally important for the department.
So, I carried out the handbook project quite smoothly along with my other tasks, and by late July, the only thing left for me to do was proofread the content of the handbook. The next procedure required me, my manager, and the designer to sit down and go through every single page to finalize everything before we send it to my manager’s manager (Unit Head) for approval to print. It takes about 2-3 weeks for the printing and delivery, so, following the previous quarters’ timeline, we should hand in the design to the Unit Head by mid-August and confirm the finalize version for printing by the last week of August.
Again, this is the normal and agreed-upon timeline, and every couple of weeks I would update my manager on the progress and the next steps of the project. We had worked with the designeprinter company for years without any problems or delays, so everything was on track. However, on the last Friday of July (a whole 2 weeks before our target timeline to send the design to the Unit Head), this conversation happened:
Manager: OP, I need you to finalize everything today, because we are sending the design to the Unit Head on Monday.
Me: Next Monday? Why? We have two weeks.
Manager: Well, the Unit Head wants to see some changes around here, so I thought we could speed up the publication of this handbook to start. I told the Unit Head we would send the design to her on Monday.
Me: Okay... you could have discussed this with me first. I mean, the proofreading is almost done, I can get it done by today, but we still need to sit down with the designer to finalize and sign off. The appointment is in a week.
Manager: Can you do it tomorrow? Go ask the designer.
(Now, it was not normal in our company to come to the office and work on weekend. And of course I already had a plan for that weekend so this was really annoying to me. At least I knew that the designer would have no issue moving it to the next day, which is Saturday, because he is THAT cooperative.)
Me: I can try... but tomorrow is Saturday. I’m not sure if he can make it, especially at this last minute. And are you sure we want to rush this? Because even if we meet the designer tomorrow, the hardcopy will be delivered just 2 weeks earlier than the normal deadline. Is it that significant?
Manager: Yes! Just go ask the designer now.
So, I called the designer, and as expected, he had no problem meeting on Saturday.
Me: Mr. Manager, the designer is okay to meet tomorrow. Is 10am okay with you?
Manager: Huh? (Puzzled look)
Me: Uhmm... You also need to be there for the sign-off.
Manager: I do?
Me: Yes, you literally need to sign off on the final version to send to the Unit Head. It’s the normal procedure.
(To be honest, if it weren’t for the procedure, he didn’t really need to be there. He had already seen the design a few times, and I'm pretty sure he would never have had anything meaningful to contribute to the meeting. I would have loved for him not to be there anyway. He just needed to be there purely for the procedure. But at that point, I was quite excited to make him come to the office on the weekend when he obviously didn’t realize he ALSO had to be there with the designer.)
Manager: I can’t tomorrow, I’m going [somewhere] until Sunday.
Me: Well, if you want to send this to the Unit Head on Monday, then YOU HAVE to be here tomorrow.
Manager: Sigh... let me get back to you.
About half an hour later, he came up to me with the sourest face ever, “10am tomorrow is fine", and walked away.
I’m guessing he must have pissed off someone when he had to change/cancel his weekend plan.
So the next day, he came in 1 hour late, not smiling at all, and was rude to the designer and me. He was really unhappy to be in the office on that day, but we got it done by 1pm.
The following week, the story of how *I* made my manager come to work on Saturday was told around the company. Apparently, the plan that he had for the weekend was a group trip with some of his buddies who also worked in the company, and he had to make new arrangements to get to the place by himself and arrived late. A lot of people thought it was really funny (including the Unit Head and some of his buddies) and laughed at the image of him walking into the office on Saturday for some trivial yet necessary work.
Nevertheless, the next 2 years that I worked on the handbook, he never promised anyone to have the handbook ready before the 6-month timeline.

Hey folks,
I'm embarking on a project to upgrade my son's Powerwheel toy to give it a much-needed speed boost. Currently, it's painfully slow on its 6v system, and I'm looking to upgrade it to a 12v system for some added excitement.
I've found a helpful video demonstrating the mod in action, but I could use some guidance on the parts list and the process. Here's what I'm aiming for:

1. Speed Enhancement: Transitioning from a 6v to a 12v system to increase speed.
2. Battery Upgrade: Upgrading the battery for extended playtime.
3. Safety: Ensuring that the modifications are safe for my son to use.

If anyone has experience with similar mods or can provide advice on the best parts to use, recommended tools, or any potential safety concerns to be aware of, I'd greatly appreciate your input.

Ezili is a very unpopular hero and arguably the least popular hero in the game so why is that?

Niche

Ezili is a very niche hero, and is only really used for ultra-late game and for expert-map chimps. But why? Ezili's main selling point is her level 10 ability "Hex" which can kill a moab-class bloon and make it spawn no children and if there is still time in the ability left it will jump to another moab. This is amazing and at level 20 it can affect BADs. This means you want to use her on gamemodes and maps where she will be reaching very high levels so she can get as much value from her ability as possible which is why she is used on expert chimps (where you will be going all the way to round 100 and there is extra hero xp because of the higher map difficulty) and late-game where she will be level 20

Surely she will be popular in her niche then, right..?

I will be focusing on chimps. Now, unlike every other hero in the game, ezili sucks. She is unplayably bad. Her attack does one damage with very slow attack speed, and will curse a single bloon from the bloons she hits. The cursed bloon will take one extra damage (despite having 6 pierce she can only curse one bloon for some reason until level 4). This is horrendously bad and you are basically throwing 650 down the drain early-game which you really need. Her abilities are also straight up useless. Her level 3 only helps you pop regrows and purple bloons and her level 7 ability is unusable in chimps as it requires life sacrifice. This means up until level 8 (where she starts doing decentish moab damage) and level 10 (where she gets her moab hex ability) she doesn't help you at all. 99% of players won't waste all this time and effort when they can just use any other hero who will be useful (or at least not useless) in all stages of the game

tldr: ezili is horrendous early/middlegame is too much effort for what you get back for most players

suggestions:

The easiest and most straightforward thing to do is to buff her main attack but just making her lvl 3 and 7 abilities useful will take her super far. Making her lvl 3 help you pop all types of bloons (even if for just bloons or towers in radius) will make her so much better earlygame. or making her lvl 7 usable in chimps somehow like i dunno making it sacrifice a tower who must at least be of x value to use her totem?
anything works but when a hero can't solo round 6 on a beginner map nor do they offer any kind of support at all something is wrong.
