Dear Reddit community,
I need some relationship life advice.
I '23/F' am currently involved with a '27/M' partner for a year now. I love him and he loves me, but I often wonder if our relationship is worth continuing. Half the time we are each others' best friend and lovers and we get along amazingly... however the other half of the time we argue over the stupidest things and the arguments go round and round in circles for a while (and I'm not joking, we argue SO fucking much). To give an example, just this past weekend I drove up to see him as well as celebrate his friends' family visiting from South America (we are long distance) and on the car ride there, I ask if we are staying in his motorhome he has there. He wouldn't give me a straight answer and I was wanting to know so that 1) we could save money instead of going to a hotel 2) we wouldn't have to worry about checkout times 3) I wanted to know where the hell I was driving to! Instead of giving me a straight answer about why he preferred to stay at a hotel, he went round in circles and got upset that I was asking. We eventually figured that argument out and it turns out he didn't want to stay in the motorhome because he still needed to clean it and he didn't want to welcome me in that kind of environment (the next day we went to his motorhome so I could help him organise).
That same night when we're celebrating his friend and her family, he starts smoking his friend's vape and is attached to it pretty much the whole night. Obviously it is his choice what he does with his body, but it sucks when your partner tells you he quite vaping/smoking and then as soon as he has the opportunity he picks it right back up again and blames his friends for his vaping problem. The group was playing some fun Brazilian music to dance to, and so I go up to my partner to ask him to dance with me and I playfully try to push the vape away from his hand (he was just sitting there vaping). I didn't slap his hand, I didn't forcefully take it away from him, I wasn't disrespectful in anyway - I was just trying to be playful and was hoping he would put it down and dance with me. I allowed my expectations to upset me. I was expecting/hoping that he would put it down and dance with me. Instead, he was like "not now babe" and reaches for another hit of nicotine. I got upset by this because we haven't seen each other in over a month, we only have a few hours together, and first he gets weird/upset about the motorhome thing and then it feels like he chooses spending time with the vape over dancing with the person he calls the love of his life. (and maybe I am overreacting with this particular situation, it just hurts watching him hurt his health like that then blame his friends and it feels like my partner has no self control when it comes to that kind of stuff).
That was Friday. On Sunday morning, his alarm went off at 6 am which of course also woke me up. He started getting up/moving around/making a bunch of noise, and I try asking him what's going on. No response. I ask again and I ask "Do we really need to be awake at 6?" because in my mind his flight back to his state isn't until the afternoon and I was the one taking him to the airport so do I need to start getting ready too?? like why are you up so early? can you please explain what is happening? Like the motorhome situation - in which he would not clearly explain what was going on - he just got mad at me saying I was tripping about the alarm and that I shouldn't ask him questions in that kind of tone of voice (what tone of voice?!?!?). He just started getting so upset that I asked if we needed to be up at that time and I was so confused by his response because it really didn't seem fair to me. When he got back in bed I did not want to be touched by him - I was so sad that I feel like I can't even ask my partner simple questions without him getting upset. He tried to go on explaining why I shouldn't ask questions like that and justifying his response. I get first thing in the morning after not much sleep people can be a little cranky, but dude to tell me I'm tripping and then evading my one question/getting defensive? not cool to me. After it's clear I'm not buying his response, he apologises and asks me to forgive his reaction, which I do and we're back to being fine. That day before dropping him at the airport, we drop off some his clothes we organised at the donation centre and then he realises he can't find his car or motorhome keys. so we spend the whole time before the airport with me driving him around to various locations to find his keys, we search my whole car, he has me search my entire bag... we can't find the fucking keys anywhere. But we were both like, no worries, they will show up somewhere. And we had a good time about it. No arguments, no complaints, he was grateful that I was helping him with his shit.
The next morning I find them in my car and I send him a picture with "omg babe, guess what I just found!" and instead of being relieved/happy that I found them, he BLAMES ME for not having seen the keys before. to be clear, I never once touched his motorhome keys. I had no idea until Sunday morning that we would even be looking for them. He blames ME for HIM losing HIS keys. I wouldn't take that shit from him. Then he went on saying that I need to "centre myself," that he has a right to feel the way he does blah blah, and sure he has a right to feel whatever he desires, but he has no right to blame me for anything! especially after I spent a good amount of time and fuel helping him do things he should've figured out on his own a long time ago and it is so easy to ship him the keys. not a big problem at all. and when I sent the key picture, he had a New York bottle opener on the keychain, and I was like "oh cool! Have you been to New York??" with the intention of getting to know my partner better - I think it's could he potentially took a trip there and I was asking in a light hearted way and his response (over voice message) was a sarcastic "yeah babe, I go there every weekend." Again, I don't understand this response. I don't understand why my question was so bad and why he felt like avoiding it? Maybe he was stressed about the whole key situation/ feeling jet lagged from the flight. But still. it sucked. I basically told him that I wouldn't take this shit from him that he cannot blame me and not take ownership of his own shit.
I just don't understand. I also have such a hard time leaving him. I tried before in the past - I felt pressured to move to Florida with him; he talked a lot about moving into together, having kids, etc etc and it was just moving too fast for me and I felt like I needed to leave because I can't give those things to him right now and it's not fair if that is something he wants and for me to stay in the relationship wanting different things at the moment. He convinces me to stay with him, saying he can wait for those things, but doesn't want to lose me. I stayed.
I'm just sooooo tired of these arguments! I'm tired of feeling like I can't ask basic questions without him getting upset. I'm tired of being made out to be the bad guy when I'm clearly not at fault. I'm tired of feeling like I acquiesce to him. I sometimes feel like he needs me more than I need him and I don't want to be his mother cleaning up after him/keeping track of his shit and then getting blamed when I don't know where HIS things are.
And we have silly arguments like this so much in the past too. I feel like maybe I'm deluding myself thinking that when we are together for longing periods of time that we won't argue so much - that it's the stress of travel that causes us to bicker. or that I'm holding on to the really good parts of the relationship where we make each other laugh so hard and we can meaningful conversations.
I worry that if we do someday have kids that they won't be able to come to him without him getting upset/weird/non-communicative. *sigh* what do I do? I know I just talked about the arguments of this past weekend so this post feels a little biased. But I feel stuck. Part of feels like maybe I should leave him, but the other part of me sticks it out. Am I secretly addicted to the drama? Or maybe I don't have a strong enough will

The character is pretty much Stitch. The idea is to have another character already have a relationship with mine, having just picked me up and thinking im a dog. And he’ll only say a few words at first, but will progressively get better at speaking. This characters bites his toes and rolls around to move around, will be chewing on his own hand, and gain a strong sense of family. He also will be able to change into other characters like, a butler he saw once, who will use vocab like stitch, but talk formally. His moon druid shapes will have the same blue aberration coloring as him.

This character is inspired by Megumin from Konosuba (She shouts “explosion!” and constantly wants to fireball everything, and then falls asleep). I see her holding hands with her pet fire spirit. Wanting to burn everything. Maybe the fire spirit can be like calcifer and talks. And maybe has a “before creation there must be destruction” them going on.

Class: Chronurgist Wizard
Race: Harengon
A 12 year old sassy prodigy girl who is shaping the fields of chronurgy magic. Uses Gen Z language. Thinks shes smartebetter than everyone, besides some of the people she looks up to at the academy. “Ugh whatever”. Shes adventuring because she needs field experience for her internship.
Hides her bunny ears under a red hood (like red riding hood, shes kind of fairy tale coded (like alice and the white rabbit too)) because harengons are not a respected race for magic and shes embarrassed.
Her parents are literally two rabbits.
Alternative personality is that shes super hyper and brimming with energy, goes crazy if she gets any sugar.

Or, as opposed to the prodigy girl, this character is an old grandma harengon who’s still got it. She has kids that are rabbits. Jumps around. “When you get to be this old you understand time differently”. Maybe she accidentally ventured into the fey wild as a kid. Dated a fairy prince once. Has a lot of wild stories your grandma sometimes drops on you.
I love this idea, but idk i might get tired of roleplaying an old person at some point

Race: Tiefling? Fallen Aasamir? Undecided
This character is some powerful old demon lord who is being punished for some reason, and that punishment is stripping him of his powers and forcing him to do good on earth. Maybe he just has to do more good than evil. But he hates that and wants to be evil so bad, but this is the reason he wont… usually. (Im aware of the problems of playing an evil character, or being antagonistic, so this reason should keep him in check i think!) Being good slowly brings his powers back, and he might just learn to not be so evil.
The creation ability is (like gilgamesh from fate) that he obtained so many things over the years, that he can just summon those items from his vault in hell.
He has a purr in his voice.
Bardic inspiration could be flavored as “i suppose i’ll lend you a fraction of my power” snaps
Or “here ill help you” *snaps* “there! Good deed done”

Hi everyone, I’m a first year teacher and started off earning $65,000, just finishing my first year. I earn about $4,200 monthly for 11 months out of the year (no pay in July).
Our union got us a pay increase and I will be earning $69,000 my second year. Then, once I clear my credential after two years of induction I’ll bump up on the pay scale and begin earning $79,000 my third year.
After emailing HR, I was told I could start off my third year earning $92,000 with a masters degree. So, I signed up for a fast paced masters program that is set to begin in July 2024 and end in July 2025.
Here’s my dilemma. I’m 24 years old and I’ve been very financially irresponsible my whole life because I honestly did not know any better. I’ve been listening to Dave for the past month and downloaded the EveryDollar app. After all my expenses living in California (rent, car payment, car insurance, phone, gas, electricity, groceries, household items, gym membership, etc) I have an extra $800 left over.
I currently have debt of $1040 on one credit card (27.99% interest), and $4,014 (28.99% interest) on another credit card. I have a car loan with $11,000 left on it on a Toyota Corolla (Originally $28,000 with 2.9% interest). The payment is $420 a month.
I know it might seem stupid to get myself into more debt after already being in debt, but I decided to finally get my shit together and getting that masters will significantly increase my pay. Every year I hold it off is basically losing money.
I’m now tutoring after school which will bring in $250 extra a month. I also tried door dashing and I don’t really get many orders but my goal is at least $100 per month with that. I’m going to start uploading my worksheets on Teachers Pay Teachers but I can’t count on that for income yet.
In total I should have about $1150 extra a month to start putting toward that debt, possibly even more with the pay increase for next year. I currently have my emergency fund at $600 and I will put $400 in at the end of this month after getting my paycheck. Then Baby Step 1 will be done. I plan to pay off the $1040 credit card by August. The second credit card by NovembeDecember. Then I will start tackling the student loan.
Here’s where I am having issues determining what to do. The masters will cost $13,000 and that’s already a with a 30% discount my district is offering. This loan will start accruing interest as soon as I receive it at 7% and it’s a federal loan. I don’t have to pay until 6 months after I graduate but as I mentioned it begins accruing interest upon receiving it, so I want to pay it off ASAP. However, I won’t be able to start tackling it until December 2024 after I pay off those cards. I know everything will be okay now that I started budgeting, but I guess I feel I could be doing better. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get rid of this debt faster?
Some Background:
I’m not married, but will be eloping in June (can’t afford a big wedding). While my fiancé does not have any debt, he only has about $1000 in savings also. We are long distance, he’s in Belgium and I am in the US. I don’t think we will be able to combine finances yet because of the different currency. He will be paying for the costs of his green card and I am not sure when we will be able to live together, depending on the process. Once he comes to live with me, I think we will be able to work on baby steps 3 and above together as he will be taking a job in IT.

I know this is not the best place to ask for these kinds of things but i need someone ANYONE to help here
Basically me and the guy (we'll call him lex) have known each other since i moved to our street back 2017-2018 and we've been neighbors for a while, we have a 2 year gap (grade wise) and a little under it age wise, we didn't start talking until i was in 6th grade (him in 8th)and we slowly got super close and eventually texted each other everyday for hours consecutively until we started to date. It didn't work out (due to communication and external problems) but our parents never and still haven't figured that out. When we broke up i was in 8th grade and he was in 10th (sophomore year) and we were still really close friends like REALLY close. Even after i dated my (current) girlfriend we still stayed super close, hanging out everyday and still texting.
Time skip to no me in 10th grade and he's in 12th a couple months ago (around February) he did something unimaginable that i still kind of deny to myself but he basically $A'd me, he rubbed his very hard dick into my back while i was occupied with something and at first i brought it up with another guy friend because i truly didn't want to believe what happened, happened... What made this hurt more is because Lex knows about my previous problems and my past experienced with being $A'd by someone else super close. This friend opened to my eyes to the possibility that Lex has groomed me int not noticing his previous red flags and as i was thinking about it the more and more i saw these things that stuck out to me like how he would lay onto my chest and rub his face into my boobs, or how he would comment on thing he shouldn't have. The more and more i noticed the more i slowly put distance between me and Lex and i totally blame myself for the lack of communication on my end.
About a month ago i finally texted him a long and i mean LONG message explaining what's been going on and how and why ive been distant with him hoping we could communicate it thoroughly and i could hope to see his side because i truly considered Lex like my brother and one of if not my CLOSEST friend and i still wanted to be friends with him no matter if it was a bad idea or not but his message he came back with didn't exactly meet any requirements of a serious conversation at all, he didn't even bother spell checking his own message and it really upset me so i did send a second message the same day telling him my frustrations and calling him out on the fact that he didnt even apologize for making me uncomfortable when i apologized for my lack of communication and so i pulled away.
Ever since then he has since blocked me on every social media platform and has promptly ignored me completely and at first i told myself it didnt matter but as of the last month i haven't been able to let anyone get close to me and i dont know if its my brains subconsciously trying to protect myself but even if im with people i truly love and know im safe with my brain restricts the ability to be able to get as close or feel the same amount of happiness that i felt with Lex, ive been absolutely devastated the last month since im someone whos love language is physical touch and not being able to receive the same amount of dopamine i was able to before. I have just been contemplating going to his house and ringing on his doorbell to apologize just so i cant be friends with Lex again because it hurts my heart to its core not being able to hug someone and feel happy.
He has graduated and is leaving for college soon so its really now or never, my friends have told me that im in the right but i cant help that maybe i should've explained something better or heard his side out or just something...

Has anyone gotten their thyroid removed from their body? I had an ultra sound? scan? done one it about two-three years ago and the doctor told me that my body has essentially attacked and destroyed it. I also was told I have a cyst and nodule on it but because it wasn’t deemed cancerous the doctor said to just leave it and check it again in two years. I asked if it could just be removed as a whole and he said it would cb e considered a cosmetic surgery. I also asked if we could monitor the cyst sooner and he made it seem like I was causing a problem. So I haven’t been back to him since and started seeing my GP for it instead and she has helped me a lot. Unfortunately, I moved 1,000 miles from here and she doesn’t do telehealth in this state.
Before I start seriously looking and spending money on doctor appointments ( because insurance copays and the nearest doctors being an hour away ) I was wondering if anyone has had any luck on getting it removed without it being deemed a cosmetic surgery.

Race: Tiefling? Fallen Aasamir? Undecided
This character is some powerful old demon lord who is being punished for some reason, and that punishment is stripping him of his powers and forcing him to do good on earth. Maybe he just has to do more good than evil. But he hates that and wants to be evil so bad, but this is the reason he wont… usually. (Im aware of the problems of playing an evil character, or being antagonistic, so this reason should keep him in check i think!) Being good slowly brings his powers back, and he might just learn to not be so evil.
The creation ability is (like gilgamesh from fate) that he obtained so many things over the years, that he can just summon those items from his vault in hell.
He has a purr in his voice.
Bardic inspiration could be flavored as “i suppose i’ll lend you a fraction of my power” snaps

Hi! I’m newly 18 and this is my first post. Usually I just read posts and don’t really make them, but I’m needing some advice about my HOAs treatment of my family. I’m really unfamiliar with the laws regarding HOAs and living communities because my mom and I just moved here less than a year ago. We live in a trailer park with a pretty strict HOA running the whole thing. My mom bought the house in full (so no mortgage) but one of the things she signed on to when moving was that everything above ground belongs to her while everything below ground belongs to the park/HOA.
Ever since we moved, we’ve been having plumbing troubles — the toilets have trouble flushing, when one faucet is running the other drains in the house gurgle — really simple stuff that we could live with, and the issues came in waves. The past 2 weeks it has gotten awful and we haven’t been able to shower, wash our clothes, or use the bathroom correctly in many days now, because there is a clog so bad that running any water for any period of time will cause other drains to overflow. A plumber was called to take a look at the situation and he deduced that there were tree roots growing in the pipes to the septic.
The HOA got really mad that we called our own plumber in for the situation and to my understanding yelled at my mom for it and said they would send their own guy over on Monday (today) to fix it. Long story short he just dug a hole in the yard, made a phone call, and left without a word to us. The problem was not solved and we still cannot wash our clothes or take adequately long showers. I intended to wash my hair tonight very quickly in my shower but could not as it was filled with waste water. (for the record I have no idea how I’m ever gonna go in there again after seeing that lol)
I guess the main question is, has the HOA legally done anything wrong? Are we allowed to sue the HOA for our living conditions right now? My friends and family who i have told seem really disgusted and scared of this situation, and I keep “jokingly” suggesting to my mom that we should sue them, but I’m not sure exactly what we could really get them on. Are there any laws or regulations for HOAs to handle this situation appropriately, have they done anything wrong here?

For context, I work in a hospital as a Unit Clerk. Recently, I was asked to train a new hire to be able to do the basics of my job. At my hospital, they give a bonus to “preceptors”, no matter the level of pay, per hour to train new hires, but only if you come in on an off day and take a 4 hour class to “qualify for it”. I haven’t taken the class, and though I have trained others in the past, I was told that since I don’t qualify, I won’t get the bonus for training, and that I also didn’t get the bonus for training the others when I did it before.
The problem with taking the class is that, as far as I can tell, it’s only offered on day shift, and I am a night shift worker. I work upwards of 5, 12 hour shifts a week in a trauma unit, and work far enough away that by the time I get home, I rarely have enough time to get a full night’s (technically day’s) rest before I have to suit up and come right back to work. I average around 6 hours on a good day, not that it really matters in context with the situation.
My stance is that, if I am not being compensated for passing on my knowledge and experience in my job to this new hire, but anyone else would be, should I stay my ground and refuse to train them? Or should I cave in and just do it anyway? Because though, on paper, it only looks like 4 years of experience, it’s 4 years of experience during Covid, where the hospital was basically on fire 24/7.

Quincy is my 8 year old FIV+ cat - we rescued him 6 years ago and he's had nearly all of his teeth removed and, last October, had surgery for calcium oxalate bladder stones after urinating in shoes, on bags, on carpets, and finally, on tiles. After his surgery, he's had no behavioral problems since - yay!
Because he's a senior and FIV+, he goes to the vet twice a year. He went late last week and his labs look good, he's physically healthy and doesn't have a bladder stone recurrence yet. The issue is that his urine is very acidic and concentrated - we want it to be alkaline and diluted so this is obviously not good.
He was prescribed Hills c/d Urinary Stress food but we think he's been snacking on our dog's food and treats which has disrupted his strictly prescription diet. We're going back in about a month after going on full lockdown (no treats, no extras, no nothing besides his kibble) and getting his urine retested to see if there's improvements.
Here's some things we've tried:

• Prescription diet wet food - he hates wet food, has always hated wet food, and refuses to eat for the full day if he's presented with wet food
• Wetting his kibble with water - disaster
• Water fountain with regularly changed filter - occasionally finds it interesting and then moves on
• Regular water dishes, low whisker stress dishes, elevated water dishes, shallow dishes, wide deep bowls, plates with water pooled on the top
• Dishes in 5 locations around the house - he only frequents one of them - we've tried moving them to other places
• Changing water multiple times a day - doesn't make a difference

The vet says we're basically needing to increase his water intake or we'll have to switch his food (again), give him oral supplements to make his bladder more alkaline, or do fluid replacement. We're happy to give him a different food but the rest we'd like to avoid.
We can't do water flavorings and have to feed him exclusively prescription food so no water-heavy supplements like tuna, etc.
Have you had any successes getting your cat to drink more? I'll do anything!

I'm a (24F) and l've been friends with my guy friend (22M) for about 3/4 years now. I've never seen him as more than just a friend until two weeks ago. He invited me out of the blue to hang out during the wknd just the two of us. On my way to the event I said that I would be late and he basically said no problem but added "baby/sweetness" to the sentence; like "no worries sweetness" kind of reply (that's not what he literally said but you get it). That was already unusual to me, but I went about my drive and looked over it.
We meet up and it's normal, we got drinks and danced. I had planned to leave early but we had so much fun that I didn't mind staying longer. We bar hopped and walked around the city, he was affectionate the ENTIRE night. (Hugged me, pulled out my chairs and pushed them in, joked about me being so soft while he hugged me, etc) we were basically flirting the whole night. We cuddled in two separate Ubers (I leaned on him while he caressed my arms) he even squeezed me closer to him and whispered in my ear. At the end of the night we texted when we got home. What does this mean if he hasn’t addressed it?
TLDR Just to provide additional context. Ever since then I haven't been able to address the elephant in the room but I sort of liked it? We've been small talking everyday since then but I sort of hinted at it today and he basically acted like he was caught off guard. Now I'm so confused... also he hasn't responded since that part of our convo earlier. So did he basically play me? If so then the friendship is ruined I guess, which is disappointing. Sorry it was so long this is the summarized version I swear lol

I wanted to share something with the DM Michi community, and I have a theory on why so many people who are new or casual (like me) tend to play like garbage in the late stages or even the early stages. DM isn't a new gamemode for me; I've been playing DM for a while now, and I absolutely love the gamemode compared to RM, but on AoEII:DE this is starting to becoming the most frustrating gamemode I have ever played. This is all because of a bug in multiplayer that causes lategame to become unplayable. The game drops to 1 fps, messages are delayed for about 1-2 minutes (timed it myself), and units are either frozen, stuck, or refuse to follow commands at all. In rare cases, the game itself crashes, sometimes on my own or with everyone crashing. I've disabled mods, reinstalled the game and even reinstalled my OS to no avail.
I've gotten so annoyed that I have written a thread on Reddit complaining about the crashes and freezes, with some responses. I've also attempted to get users to write negative reviews, but none have confirmed on writing anything. According to one of the comments, it states: "The problem is the gpu itself specially the 6000 series, the game can’t stress it enough so the gpu goes to sleep mode constantly providing a terrible stutter, nvidia or intel doesn’t have the same issue"
So I guess fuck me and good luck playing late game since I have an AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT, until someone suggested trying this: "AoE doesn’t stress enough the GPU so the clock doesn’t reach the minimum frequency to wake it up. Basically it’s like using the GPU for nothing and it goes to sleep. They said that running another app that quite draw attention on the GPU can wake it up so it does 2 jobs at once good."
So I decided to use Verminitide 2, a very intensive game that will make sure the GPU stays awake. Using this method, AoE2:DE is still unplayable, even with Vermintide 2 working fine and properly. I can dodge, attack, and summon skeletons (as necromancer) all fine, but AoE2:DE refuses to work. At this point, I'm fucked; I can't play any intensive DM Michi games until the actual developers care and fix this.
At this moment, I have decided to uninstall AoE2:DE, and I will refuse to play any (pro, noob, casual, etc.) Deahtmatch Michi, as I do not wish to be hated in the already small community we have. I am asking the small existing community to please not treat new players who are trying to play like garbage and to show them this post, knowing that it's most likely not their fault. I don't have that many friends that play AoE2:DE (let alone that play Deathmatch), and I will resume playing until this has been fixed.
But what I really want to ask is for the community to write bad reviews if they have encountered this issue or any issues like pathfinding at all. This has gone on for long enough now, and I just want to play DM knowing it's my fault for losing instead of the game crashing or lagging to the point where it's unplayable. I'm sharing this everywhere I can, so please share.

I told HR today that I am at a loss and I feel sick so I’m taking a day off. 21 complaints open against this specific manager. Three on medical leave due to her abuse. (two are my work friends and one had to go outpatient depression/anxiety hospitalization. You’d think I was making this up)
HR keeps listening to my complaints about her but the response is “I’m so sorry you feel this way and I understand, this isn’t right”. Ok - so what’s the action?
If it is NOT right and why is this manager still here?

-HR won’t fire them (WHY? Just WHY) even though they destroy everything in their path and actively make relations in the org far more tense.
I told the company I WILL walk out. I said I’m done. I am sickened because I am a 20 year experienced employee who devotes a lot of time, effort and help to everyone and I’ve always been a high performer. I noticed after I threatened to quit because my mental sanity is gone and I’m too good for this type of sick abuse. Then started to move quickly and met with my boss. I said I will quit if they don’t coach her to manager. They said it’s “definitely salvageable” and seems like a “communication” problem. and we can work it out. So, after meeting with her she’s still behaving like a psycho. What’s the next course of action? She’s been causing havoc for months and she still has a job? Maybe I should just start abusing people so I can get a raise and also have impenetrable immunity in the office.
HR also noted that me (the subordinate) have very different personalities and styles. They basically mean I have character, class and I’m not a narcisstic ego-driven abuser.
Has anyone been in this situation and can you lend some advice? I’m thinking the advice is most likely to leave. I could leave but the job market is tough. However, I’m so mentally fried that I may have to just quit and live off of savings. Others said quiet quitting works.
I’m LOST! What the HELL are my rights? Any advice is welcome. I fantasize daily of walking out and leaving no notice. (I have 5 solid references that are NOT her at the company)

mag 3rd year na ako in a few months and i still feel like i'm a very incompetent student nurse. during duty, may mga mistakes ako na dapat alam ko na gawin in the first place kasi basics lang siya. sa lecture naman, hindi sobrang baba pero hindi ko naa-achieve 'yung grades na gusto ko for the amount of time i spent i reviewing. i don't know what to do anymore. i feel like i can get to love this field, pero i'm the problem. i'm not fit in this field. what should i do? should i change program na ba? need advice please

a few years ago i was really close with someone and it ended really badly due to my borderline. at the time i wasn’t diagnosed, so i didn’t really know why it was so hard for me to maintain relationships. however looking back at the relationship now, all of my issues were related to borderline or bipolar. as much as i hate to admit it i hurt them a lot because of my mental state. i was very scared of them leaving me, which made me incredibly over protective and anxious when they’d leave for more than a couple of hours. i relied on them a lot to make me “happy” and that wasn’t fair to them. i would constantly ask them if they still cared about me which put a lot of stress on them. i felt like the only way that i could make them stay was by pushing them away and giving them space that wasn’t actually space. at the end of our friendship they told me that i was basically too much to deal with and that they wanted to stop being friends. i dont blame them for anything that happened, i was just terrified of abandonment and in a horrible place mentally. long story short, today i reached out and apologized for hurting them and they basically forgave me without saying the words. this made me feel like a huge weight was lifted off my shoulders. i was always terrified i was a horrible person because i hurt them, but when they responded it just felt like the closure i needed. they responded so well and with so much understanding and even told me they are glad im doing better. anyways i just wanted to share that because i think having borderline and being undiagnosed and untreated in relationships can be extremely hard, but there is room for forgiveness.

I'll try to keep this brief but I have a lot to say and I tend to ramble. I (20F but 19 at the time) have been broken up with my ex (20F) for almost a year now. When we first ended things I felt SO MUCH RELIEF I was in almost a euphoric state for the first week or two. I knew she was extremely toxic but didn't care to question it because I was just so happy to never have to see or speak to her again but quickly that wore off and I realized just how terribly she treated me. In the past month or two it's starting to get to me again after a few conversations with close friends where I told the stories of things she did to me, hoping to have a laugh at the absurdity but underneath realizing just how much she put me through. I still can't accept that it was truly mental or emotional or verbal etc. abuse. I guess I just want somebody to tell me if I'm victimizing myself, or if my mental illness is making me delusional if I was the real abuser the whole time, or if we were both toxic (all her words). I just wanna list off some of the things she did, partially for myself to lay it all out and partially to ask everyone here if I'm the problem or if she was just toxic w/o being "abusive". I'm avoiding specific details because I don't want anyone I know to stumble upon this and know it's me so apologies if theres little context but here it is:

• biggest one on the top: when we first got together I had just gotten out of a relationship and was struggling metally. I had been in therapy for a while before we met and started mood stablizers soon after we were together. she constantly would use this against me to tell me i'm crazy, that my mental illness was ruining our relationship, that i was "a disease", that I was just like her crazy ex etc.
  
• another huge one! she insisted on extravagant expensive gifts then later expected unquestioned obedience because of it. when i caught on to this and began denying gifts it would cause arguments
  
  • i identified as bisexual at the time which she constantly used against me. if we were ever in the presence of men, even if i didnt interact with them, she would get mad and either give me the silent treatment or start an argument about it. when i expressed multiple times that I may not be attracted to men she would get angry because it proved to her how "easily impressionable" i am
  • constant lies. about things my friends or even my mom had said allegedly about me (they never did), about things that she had or hadn't done, she would even tell lies to my friends and mother about things that I had allegedly said about them (i never did) even right in front of me but she was so convincing to everyone around us that I seemed like the liar no matter how much i denied or explained
  • insults! mainly about me but also my friends and family
  • always wanting a reaction so that she could then point to me as an abuser. e.g: screaming at me and throwing things until i removed myself into a seperate room where she followed me and recorded me without my knowlege as she taunted me until I yelled at her to leave me alone, then played back the recording to show me how poorly i talk her
• she told me so many times that my majors were not as difficult or as important and I "couldn't possibly understand" how much more effort and intellect it took for what she studied (we're both in college and I'm literally a double major!! if that matters)
  
  • told me she was embarrassed of me because my interests and hobbies weren't "resume-worthy"
  • belittled my morals and values, the things i thought were important whether they were big things or small, and my plans for the future
  • controlling to an INTENSE degree. e.g: getting upset with me because i wouldn't let HER floss MY teeth or threatening to break up with me because I wouldn't hide my stuffed animals in the closet when she came over
  • laughed and called me things like pathetic unstable when i would try to tell her certain things she said and did were hurting me. was just all around very cruel and mericless with her words to the point where I seriously think she was nearly incapable of empathy
  • she told me things about myself as if they were fact. this one is hard to explain but for instance: "you just let your s/o's walk all over you" or "youre just not a hard worker". it was said so causally and matter of factly that it wasn't even an insult just an absolute truth she had observed
  • things she admitted to before we broke up: when i opened up to her about my ex and things i went through as a child she later admitted that she was happy that i was "weak" and would tolerate poor treatment. she admitted that she would poke and taunt and yell her own mother until she got the reaction she wanted so that she point out "how crazy she was acting". she admitted to reading my journal the first time she came over to see the excerpts of my ex and, again, figure out just how badly she could treat me.
  • I do want to say that she never actually hit me or physically assualted me but she would often imitate in the moment that she was about to (partially because she wanted to hit me, and partially because she knew it would trigger me because I was abused as a child, again she admitted this part)
  • in arguments: deflected, shifted blame, gaslit, yelled, threw things, hit nearby objects, etc. these arguments would go in circles for hours with the topics ending up miles away from what the intital point was. things typically went from "that didnt happen" to "it did happen but i didnt mean it" to "i meant it but you deserved it". even when I gave in that wasn't enough, she would just leave and ignore me for a day or two
  • she often wouln't take accountability and instead would try to psychoanalyze why what she did upset me, blaming it on my childhood or my ex but never on her actions
  • profuse apologies afterwards. she always promised to stop and to go to therapy but that never happened. somehow she was able to do this without ever actually acknowleging that what she did was wrong
  • i won't go into detail but when it came to bedroom activites there were a few rare times when consent was ... unclear. especially near the end when she was often insistent that I would drink more (she was sober)
  • when i caught on to these patterns by calling her out for fake apologies, gaslighting, lying, manipulation, not taking the bait by reacting, sticking to my boundaries, not letting her deflect in arguments etc. she would throw full temper tantrums. screaming crying throwing herself on the ground type of tantrums. I was so drained at that point that all i could do was just sit and watch and wait for her to stop
  • her poor mom had gotten it for 20 years before me. she told me multiple times to get out of the relationship but i never listened. I hope shes doing well but i'm afraid that checking up on her might invite my ex back into my life

i'm sure that when i post this i'll think of a million more things but this is what i could think of off the top of my head sorry its so long. Writing this all out its so clear that this wasnt normal but i still constantly question whether im just erasing my own hand in it, refusing to acknowlege all the harmful things i did or how i somehow forced her to be this way, if i truly am just so delusional that i made all of this up because i want to be a victim, if i was the one who abused her first, if its my fault because i stayed and let it happen. and if none of those things are true then what do i do from here? I'm moved on and so insanely happy to be single and never have to interact with her again but i'm realizing more and more how much it has affected me.
tldr: my ex gf fits a ton of the criteria for an abuser but i still question whether i am making it up and/or if im the actual abuser just manipulating the situation for my own gain. if i'm not the abuser then how do i accept it and not be affected by it anymore?

I installed the Pico 8 Standalone wrapper from the Experts tab on my MM+ on v4.3.0 and installed good amount of games including Celeste. Problem is whenever I quit the game, it basically deletes my progress. Did I mess up the installation of Pico 8 or is there a hidden way to save game data? I don’t want to avoid playing games like Celeste that I need to progress in.

It is a mobo compatible with 3rd gen processors, I have it with a Xeon E3-1240 v2, but I want to put better graphics on it, I have seen several forums for cards of this type but the information is scarce. I used User Benchmark but I still don't trust it, I would like to put one of these economical graphics cards like the RX 570. Please help, can someone who has this motherboard with one of those graphics confirm and how would I go about putting one on it?
