Advice re chip and pin fraud in Brazil.
We were in Copacabana on the day of the Madonna concert, my wife wanted to buy a Madonna t-shirt and I inquired the price of the t-shirt, they said it would be 50 Brazilian Real and I told them I will need to come back with cash and they advised they accept card.
I didn't think it be an issue, in the back of my head, I was thinking of using Apple Pay but unsure if I wanted to take out my phone only for someone to steal my iPhone! So I figured to use my Curve card, it was the only card I had on me and didn't think it would be an issue because I have travelled in the past with it e.g. USA, Thailand and the Philippines.
50 Real was the number on the terminal and I had the terminal in hand (left hand covering the pin pad, right hand entering pin), the initial transaction failed and they showed me it didn't go through with the 'error' message, they blamed poor signal and will try again on another terminal. Highly doubtful they would have had someone surfing my shoulder to obtain the pin because my wife was next to me and she said there was no one behind us.
The initial person was quite chit-chatty whilst the other person was trying to get the transaction go through, I never entered the card into the other terminal nor pin, they gave my card back and said it went through (which was strange because I never entered my pin) and quickly moved on.
Walking back to the hotel, I wanted to get wifi access to check my account, 5 transactions totalling £6k/ 2 minutes.
Waiting on Curve to complete their investigation but the initial reply was it's not fraud because it's a chip and pin transaction and consider the chargeback process.

Hello I have been eating Brazil nuts, 1-2 a day, taking zinc biglycinate 15mg every other day, 200mg of Magnesium Glycinate every night and 5000ui of D3 every day. I am not sure if I should add K2 100mcg because I am getting conflicting information everywhere as to whether it can cause blood clotting or you need to have a ratio with k1, I just don't know so I haven't touched it yet but anyway after about 1 month of doing this my TPO AB went from 1600 to 1000, and Thyroglobulin AB is still the same at 600. Also found out I have 2 nodules in my parathyroid gland, but I was told they are not going to do anything about it because my PTH levels are normal and calcium at the time it was discovered 1.5 years ago.
Also, can anyone please tell me the best Hashimoto's diet/food they eat that has helped them with severe fatigue, bloating, and 100% inability to poop(I seriously need help on my constipation, the probiotics my gastro suggested caused my constipation to be way worse and it hasn't recovered since stopping them 3 weeks ago, I used to go once a week, now its once every 1.5 weeks. My cat Marley poops at least 8x the amount each week than I do.
Weight gain...Prior to being diagnosed with Lymphocytic Thyroiditis, I never understood how people were unable to lose weight, I was one of those people who really just didn't understand I am 35yr old male 5'9 2 years ago when I was diagnosed I weighed 150lbs I exercised, did kick boxing for fun to stay in shape after all of a sudden getting extremely fatigued and not know what was happening i got the diagnosis. I went from 150lbs to 180lbs in 1 year and the next year(currently now) I weigh 213lbs. I am starting to gain energy back especially after starting Tirosint which after going through generic and 4 brand names its a god send to me on top on my vitamins. I still have chronic fatigue but at least I can walk up 3 steps in my house without having palpitations and being so tired and needing to rest for a few hours to recover or staying in bed for days because no matter how much sleep i got I never felt I slept. I started to believe i had narcolepsy, I would fall asleep everywhere at inappropriate places and times, i could not help it. Okay enough of all that so I paid to see a dietician which ill admit i do not have much money and it was everything I had to see this guy and he gave me the worse advise ever to eat. I should have known while i watched him google hashimoto diets during our appointment. Please if anyone could tell me their diets that has helped them tremendously i would be so thankful, also I can't afford to go see a functional Dr or a motility specialist so please no one tell me that I already know, I am seeking advice here, and if anyone knows how I can cure my leaky gut and bloating. sorry one last question does Hashimoto's/constipation cause breathing issues? I have always had mild asthma, but my breathing has become really bad with wheezing and scratchy throat. Im not sure if its hashis or where I live, im renting and the floor is asbestos tiles covered by peel and stick laminate tiles as well as lead paint on the window frames which i will paint over when I have the money for paint(renting from my sister for very cheap and she won't buy the paint, in case anyone says its landlords responsibility, I am saving to move, because i dont trust the asbestos and mold in laundry room), XRAY showed nothing in lungs, my pulmonologist thinks it might have something to do with my vocal cords? My albuterol has no effect on it and I was given Symbicort which does not help at all either, in fact all it does is give me a headache and make my pulse go up to 120bpm i guess because they're both beta-agonist. Please anyone any advice on diet and anything else I asked would highly appreciate it. Thank you

I Currently have a ~5 yr old t480 with a Darfon keyboard, which is starting to show its age, as the 'l' key is not working properly anymore, as well as the 'ç' brazillian letter. However, I looked pretty much everywhere I could, and the only keyboard I found here in Brazil was the Darfon.
So, what should I expect to be missing out on? Is it really that big of a deal? My current darfon, although it could definitively be better especially in terms of tactility, doesn't seem to be as bad as people make it seem.

Okay. Now for the people that have stayed, Here’s my story.
I (15M) genuinely dislike my life. For most of my life, i was the kid in school who had a busy schedule everyday, and i still am. I barely spend any time at home. For example, in Tuesdays, we have school from 7:00AM to 5:10 in the fucking afternoon. 5:30 i have singing class until 6:30. At 7:00 i have basketball practice until 9pm. Only then i can arrive home. I absolutely hate this.
Also let’s talk about school. I fucking hate school and i think it is a disgrace among our world. Every Tuesday and Thursday, we have class for 10 hours straight (Mind you i live in Brazil). Also, our teachers are a bunch of assholes, and they let it show in their tests. While on the topic, my father doesn’t accept any grade under 80%. I’m talking like “Oh you got a 77%? Why am i even paying for you to go to school then?”. This happened just yesterday. This is not an over-exaggeration at all.
A little more about my dad: He loves to tell me how good of a student he was when he was young. In public school… In Brazil… IN THE 70’S… Fyi, even nowadays the public school system in Brazil sucks so bad people are afraid of even getting near one. Now imagine it 50 years ago! My dad is nuts and things i must be absolutely perfect just cause he was above average in a poor education system many decades ago.

My partner and I are both Australian citizens who also have dual EU citizenship and passports. We are going on holidays for 2 weeks in June to Chile and Brazil. We’ve already booked all our internal flights in South America as well as our flight from Sydney to Santiago and entered our Australian Passport details when booking the tickets for these flights.
We’ve just identified that if we travel to Chile on our AU passports then we need to pay a visa fee of $187AUD. We’ve already done the application but haven’t yet paid the fee as we found out that if we travel on our EU passports then there is a visa free entry granted for up to 90 days.
My questions are this:
*Do we need to contact the airlines (both for flights departing and returning AU and flights internally in STH America) to update our passport information for the tickets OR is it simply ok to show them the EU passports at the desk for them to check we are approved to enter the country?
*If we show the EU passports at the check in at Sydney (and for return flight from Santiago) can we still use our AU passport to leave Sydney and re-enter Australia at immigration?
*I understand we will need to ensure we use the EU passports when entering and leaving chile
*What happens to our visa application if we don’t pay? Does it just lapse and expire?
Is there anything else we need to know for this or other tips?

I'm trying to use FFmpeg to "record" a simulation by piping it the raw texture data. The problem is that each frame takes a different amount of time to generate, and that's showing in the output video. My current command looks like this:

-f rawvideo -vcodec rawvideo -pix_fmt argb -s 1366x768 -i - -vf "vflip" -framerate 30 -pix_fmt yuv420p -c:v libx264 output.mp4 

How can i make it so that the input will behave more like feeding it a sequence of images instead of... whatever its doing now? Again, currently, the output video, even though the video itself is at 30fps, is showing the simulation at the speed that its happening instead of 1/30 seconds per frame.
UPDATE: It seems that the issue was actually the way i was feeding it frames. The textures were being generated on the GPU and read back asynchronously, so I was receiving them out of order. I tried to fix that by saving the frames, and reordering them once I had the right order, but I didn't realize that the saved frames shared the same memory, so it was writing duplicate frames. I fixed it by copying the frame data for a couple frames at a time into a buffer, and then writing that to the pipe. Even though I give the pipe 8 frames at a time in chunks, its getting the framerate right now. That said, I did need to move the -framerate 30 to before -i -

I bought a new monitor from SuperFrame (is a whitelabel monitor) that is 4k 144hz IPS.
It's really beautiful but I cant watch any streams, from Netflix, to Disney+. Just Youtube. I just cant figure out what to do. My suspicion is a HDCP error.
I already tried disabling hardware acceleration, using Windows Netflix app, changing cables, disabling HDR, chosing another resolution/refresh rate, closed ALL programs that record the screen, but I'm getting nothing.
If I use the same cable on another monitor, I can watch anything. Im just stuck. In the NVIDIA control panel it shows that the monitor should be HDCP compatible.

Only in this space do I feel safe to comment on this, and be understood. I live in the South of Brazil. My city and my entire state were affected by a huge flood. It's a great tragedy, hundreds of thousands of people left homeless. (I'm fine, the place where I live wasn't badly hit) But one thing has been bothering me.
