El Sistema Estatal para el Desarrollo Integral de la Familia (DIF) Oaxaca, a través de la Dirección de Operación de Bienestar, llevó a cabo una serie de talleres de Lengua de Señas Mexicana (LSM) de enero a abril del presente año, con el objetivo de promover la inclusión y eliminar las barreras de comunicación con personas con discapacidad auditiva.
Talleres en municipios e instituciones
Los cursos se impartieron en los municipios de Santiago Matatlán y San Pedro Apóstol, en la región de Valles Centrales, así como en dependencias gubernamentales como la Secretaría de Turismo, la Coordinación del Servicio Nacional de Empleo en Oaxaca (CSNEO) y personal de Protección Civil del Instituto Estatal de Educación Pública de Oaxaca (IEEPO).
Aprendizaje de la LSM para una sociedad inclusiva
A través de seis niveles de cuatro horas, las personas participantes aprendieron la importancia del uso de la LSM en la sociedad. El programa incluyó temas básicos como el abecedario, los números, los colores, preguntas comunes, la familia, transportes, lugares turísticos y comida oaxaqueña.
Infografías, videos y actividades prácticas
Las sesiones de aprendizaje se apoyaron en infografías, videos y actividades prácticas para facilitar la comprensión de los contenidos. De esta manera, las personas participantes adquirieron las herramientas básicas para comunicarse en LSM.
Espacios inclusivos y respeto a los derechos
El DIF Oaxaca busca generar espacios inclusivos y fomentar una convivencia social armónica a través de la promoción de la LSM. Con estas acciones, se busca hacer valer los derechos de las personas con discapacidad auditiva y garantizar su acceso a la comunicación y la información.
Cursos gratuitos y abiertos al público
Los talleres fueron gratuitos y estuvieron abiertos al público en general. Las personas interesadas en aprender LSM pueden acercarse a las instalaciones del DIF Oaxaca ubicadas en la calle Vicente Guerrero número 114 de la colonia Miguel Alemán, en la capital oaxaqueña.
Solicitud de talleres
Para solicitar la impartición de un taller de LSM, las instituciones educativas, empresas o personas interesadas deben presentar una solicitud dirigida a la Dirección General del Sistema DIF Oaxaca, donde se especifiquen las fechas y el lugar deseado para la realización del curso.
