As of recently, kometa is no longer applying overlays to my movies, although it is applying them to tv shows.

All the research I've done on this topic falls in trying to explain why Aang managed to get in Avatar State after being hit by Azula, I actually already understand all of this, my question is, why did Guru say that Aang couldn't access the Avatar State if he chose to abandon the last chakra opening procedure? The way he said it, it seemed very clear that leaving the temple and going after Katara would automatically prevent him from accessing the Avatar State forever, but that was clearly not true. I've even thought that Guru could be making Aang decide this on purpose, like a test, to see if Aang would choose power above the people he cares about, as Iroh had said, but as nothing implied this, it is just an attempt to fill a hole.
This makes me think that the Guru's words made Aang think that would be useless to try access the Avatar State, so he strived to just become naturally stronger with the bendings, without counting on the power of the Avatar State, however, a slight shock in the area where Aang was hit by the lightning would have been enough to make his chi flow normally through his body again, that would have made the fight much easier...

TLDR: Grenadier doesn't double the size of your explosions. It octuples them.
I noticed something today that I have never seen anyone mention.
The perception perk Grenadier increases the size of your explosions, everyone knows this. Most games will give you upgrades in terms of the % area increase (ie. Increases explosion area by 50%). Pizza Math shows us that this doesn't mean the width of the explosion is all that much larger.
However, Demolition Expert increases the radius of your explosions by up to 100%. This has big implications. You can tell because it makes big booms.
Geometry tells us that the volume of a sphere is: V=4/3πr^3.
Let's say your default explosion radius is 1 unit (since we're dealing percentages, the math works regardless of whether it's one explosive legendary shotgun pellet or a missile). Using the formula, we see that the total volume of your explosion is 4.19 units^3.
Let's increase that radius value to 2, representing the 100% increase that your Demolition perks provide. Now your explosion covers 33.59 units^3, or 8 times more volume than with no perks.
One might argue that in practice the effects are somewhat diminished because we rarely get to take advantage of the Z-axis in combat. Most enemies are on roughly the same horizontal plane.
Have no fear! Even accounting for this, calculating the area of a circle in only two dimensions, you are still hitting an area 4x larger than with no perks. So you see, even with the most generous accounting, thats still huge mileage for 2 points.
Turn your trash grenades and explosive legendaries into tagging machines. Turn near misses into hits. Turn whoever happens to be standing nearby into bloody chunks.
I'm particularly enjoying this perk with the Explosive Palm legendary perk, but there are probably other applications.

which the maker was talking up as one of the best ever, like he had filled the bottle with some vintage, extra good year, of some Dom or something,
the people tastings's verdict of "the best champagne ever " , didn't taste the greatest,
is that Nice wineexpert talk for: shittiest champagne I ever tasted? 🤣
And what kind of cash you would have to own this bottle?

The reason for this very long post, it does have a point and it has to do with wine , you have now heard this insane things about champagne, vodka, perfume and Coffee.

I was so scared of being weird and fit in even less than I did, and scared to do something at home, so they would start thinking i was weird and not like me either..
So I hid it as best i could, i took everything that came with that and pushed it as far down and hid it as i just could managed , had some small outlets when I was alone at home, and the times i cracked at home, it was either against my Brothers, and because of lack of selfregulation, it was either exploding with anger, crying hystericly, screaming as loud and as long my lungs and voice would let me from irritation or frustration, or having the same extremes with positive feelings, they most likely thought i was a normal part bipolar, part psychopath, part spoilt rotten daddys little Princess who gets everything she wants, never gets in trouble, and can get us in trouble with just one cry or one word, and part sweet, happy , Nice littlesister, you know the kind of babysister every big Brother, most of the time, have? And it's normal for a kid to be a hyper sometimes, but I had a childhood being scared to be me, tummyaches all the time for the stress and work, physical and mental symptoms getting slowly worse with time, and buhu, i had it so bad, millon kids had it a millon times worse, but it still wasn't plesant and 10/10 would not recomend! I've managed to build a Social Media following of +50K after sharing content consistently for over a year.
The audience is targeting "consumers" not "businesses".
However relying on Social Media only is quite risky. I would like to move some of the audience to another channel.
After considering emailing/newsletter I decided against it, since it's pretty much one sided.
I would like a place where people can actually connect, learn from each other and exchange as they are currently doing it in the social media channel comments.
After reviewing what it feels like a hundred of community based solutions (kudos to the people selling shovels) I will most likely go with Mighty Networks or Circle.so.
With both solutions you can start a paid community, however I can't decide if I should START with a paid or free one.
Free community:
Pros: - I could reach a certain volume of users quicky, - I could learn from the most frequent problems encountered and test solutions with people that are engaged - I could still have paywalls for some of the content such as online courses
Cons: - The fact that it's free might attract too many "wrong" profiles that have no added value or would actually have negative behaviours (advertise their stuff, harass others, mock others)
I wouldn't earn revenue from consumers but I could try to find business sponsors (similarly to what content creators do with their newsletters, podcasts etc.)
Paid community:
Pros: - It would be a source of revenue (currently not making any) - The people that join are more "qualified" since they actually paid to benefit from the community.
Cons: - Having a paywall to join would mean a much lower conversion rate: the community might be less "active" - If people pay they might see sponsors has a negative thing "Why am I seeing sponsored content if I already pay a subscription"
I'm quite new to entrepreneurship and I don't have experience "selling", so I might be trying to convince myself that "paid" is a bad idea because it's uncomfortable to me.
Looking for people that have experience with communities to help me see clearer here.
Should I start a free one with paid content from day one?
Should I just start one for free and then see from there?

Today was all about continuing our implementing process in blockDAG mining techniques. It was more about the debugging part in the mining implementation to resolve the existing error that we were facing in yesterday's implementation part and less of the coding part. x1 Miner application status Apart from the blockchain development, a parallel team is working on the x1 miner application, let's get into the current progress for that commitment:
As we're near to the delivery of the first phase of x1 Miner application, the user onboarding module is complete with the privilege of sign up through phone number and Google. Adding on, the platform has been added with the pre-sale functionality too along with the setting, notification and home functionality. Currently the phase 1 of the application is under testing and bug fixes phase. We'll be delivering the application on store shortly.

I have my pre-op appointment on 5/28, and my surgery day is two weeks after on 6/11
I had already had the first apportionment with my surgeon early in April, when I decided to go ahead and have the surgery with his clinic. That day he recommended to me the best procedure for my body (I'm in between a mini-TT and a TT), discussed pros and cons, and shown me pictures of his patients before and after. I agreed to get a mini-TT with lipo of flanks and some MR which they always do during TT surgery, and that if during the surgery he thinks I will be better with a TT he can go ahead and decide to "upgrade me" for regular TT. The quote I got would be the same for both procedures, and he told me that recovery was comparable and the length of the scar would be the same for me.
On the 5/28 I have several appointments:
1 - blood test (fasting) - not sure what they are looking for here
2 - anesthesia check - including electrocardiogram
3 - later that day, appointment with my surgeon to review the results of those tests and go over questions and informed consent forms.
I want to make sure I don't forget any important question. After reading a lot in reddit I know that I want to tell him or ask him:

• It is important for me to address the area above my belly button (B belly), so I would prefer to get a TT rather than go for the mini and go through the whole thing only to fall short.
  
• Confirm that he will do MR (I have much abdominal distension, no babies but from weight gain and loss, and it affect not just my hanging belly but my very bad pelvic floor)
  
• Discuss how low/high he creates the scar. The day of the first appointment i thought I would only get a lipo so the TT proposal came as a shock and I didn't pay attention to that in the pictures.
  
• Confirm what compression garments I need to buy and what they will provide me with. So that I have time to buy them. I might ask this to his assistant, she is wonderful and will be the best for those details.
  

For the first meeting the idea of getting a surgery was just sinking in, so I appreciate this second meeting to ask more questions and clarifications. When are your pre-op appointments coming up and what are your top questions to discuss?

Has anyone taught in Florida and NY? I get NY is considered better when it comes to pay, benefits, unions, less crazy laws, etc. Not really asking about that part.
I'd like to know how different it is regarding actual teaching and students. I get the impression that workload is heavier in FL (especially with the mass exodus of teachers currently) even though my subject, chemistry, is not a tested area while in NY it is (regents exam). Do you think this is an accurate impression?
Is it just kind of a... it doesn't matter what state you're in, better schools mean better student behavior thing or are kids in FL really that much more behind kids in NY on behavior, reading/math ability, etc.? Because apathy and low student engagement seems to be a problem everywhere, but are kids in FL really more apathetic and less engaged than kids in NY or is that also an incorrect impression?

Hello. My exam is on 11th june. For now, i have taken first 3 boson exams and here are my scores for each as my first tries: A=733, B=705, and C=800. I have 2 practice tests of Jeremy’s IT Lab which i am planning to take over the next 2 weeks or so. I had some issues with few questions related to automation and programming, and wireless too. I read boson’s explanations and also OCG for some areas. What else should I do? Also, are Jeremy’s tests good too?

49 male 5’11” 190 former smoker (smoked approx 20 years, have not smoked last 17) New England served 6 years in the military, 15 years Volunteer Firefighter, 20 years Career Firefighter, 9/11 responder (2 days 9/11&9/12)
Quit drinking almost 10 years ago. Approx 8 months after became fairly ill at home. I could not keep anything down and was sleeping over 20 hours a day and exhausted. Went through several tests with my GP with nothing found. Last test was Western Blot, + for Lyme. Put on Doxy for 60 days sent on my way and told no reason to retest. Felt better and went on with life.
A few months passed and I was run down all the time, wasn’t eating, nauseous, achy and went to an LLMD who ran bloodwork, told me the Lyme had advanced and treated me with supplements and oral antibiotics (heavy duty) I lost approx 60lbs over the next 5 months and not improving so switched to IV antibiotics. I lost another 20lbs in 6 weeks and decided to see another Dr in the area who had experience with Lyme.
This Dr used both traditional medicine and a Naturopathic approach and explained how bad all the antibiotics were and what they had done to my system. Her approach was to boost my immune system and during testing determined I had high levels of 7 heavy metals with Lead, Mercury and Cadmium being the worst. These were treated with Chelation IVs while the Lyme was treated with Vit C and Peroxide IVs, vitamins, and supplements. It was also determined I had the MHFTR gene,hypothyroidism and low T. Put on Methyfolate, Test and prescription thyroid. I completely removed dairy and gluten from my diet. I began working out and gained 50lbs back with much of it being muscle and was feeling great.
I was previously diagnosed with PTSD, Dep, Anx but was managing well and then things went south all of a sudden after almost two years of doing pretty well. I went to a treatment facility and was supposed to enter a first responder program but they determined I was too much of a danger to myself and kept me in a lockdown unit. My Dr convinced me that ECT was the next best step so I endured 18 treatments. I was a zombie for approx 24 hours after each treatment but was doing multiple sessions a week. After drooling on myself for a few weeks I decided this was not the best course of treatment and went to another facility with a Vet/First Resp program and very high end. They treated me medically and for mental health ensuring both were as good as they could be. Adjusted pharma some more and explained how the ECT was not the right treatment and had me do eMDR.
I left the facility and returned home only to have my Lyme symptoms flair again. After several months of treating my immune system again, I was back to work. After 6 weeks I had a mental breakdown, later determined to be from a miscalculated dose from a recall of the Armour Thyroid I was on. It was also determined that my Cortisol levels were high through saliva testing and I was placed on Cortisol Manager 2x dose to lower my Cortisol.
I again returned to work but things were still not right. After a while of this we tested my blood level for Cortisol and I was told I had none. They then tested for Aldosterone and that was very low. I was told I had Addison’s Disease and put on Hydrocortisone and Fludrocortisone. Sent to an Endo, wait 9 months for appt, told there is nothing else they could do and to continue steroids. After another year of telling everyone something was not right I had a cardiac episode with a BP is 192/102 (typically 110/60 and 40-50HR) Saw a cardiologist and out on Olmesartan max dose and Amolodipine(sp?) BP still regularly 160/90. Cardiologist sees Thyroid and Addison testing. Sends me to another Endo. This Drs tests show no issues with Cortisol or Aldosterone and tells me to stop them.
Last week has been miserable. Achy, sore joints and muscles, muscle tension has reduced but posture has changed. Nauseous, no appetite and having a lot of trouble sleeping. My mental health initially improved but has now gone down hill pretty quickly.

(As of now, I do not have experience in this area and haven't looked into it much at all. I'd say I'm uneducated on handguns for hunting purposes so for the time being I'll leave it to others in the comments section to provide sufficient advice)

Self Defense

• Sig Sauer P365
• Springfield Hellcat

The Sig Sauer P365 is such a solid option. I have at least 2,500 rounds through mine and I've never had an issue. The recoil is surprisingly low. The muzzle jump is surprisingly low. The night sights that come standard are great. This is personal but the ergonomics and controls are great for me.
I've never shot the Springfield Hellcat, but the multiple videos online of the 10,000 round tests without failures cannot be ignored. The ergonomics aren't for me, but I would trust it with my life.
Many people might suggestion the Glock 43x, but the muzzle jump is quite a bit more than the Sig. If your hands get sweaty, or wet in general, you would have to get Talon grips or something for the G43x because Glock frames lack worthwhile stippling/grip. And again, the Sig has that covered.

Home Defense

• Smith & Wesson M&P M2.0
• Springfield Echelon
• Canik Mete (the Rival or TP9 are pretty similar and fine options too.)
• H&K VP9
• Sig Sauer P320
• Walther PDP
• CZ 75-SP 01
• Arex Zero 2 S
• Beretta PX4

Everything above is really reliable, has a good trigger and good sights. The only clear negative with something in this list is the muzzle jump of the Walther PDP. If you get a PDP and struggle with controlling that muzzle jump I highly recommend getting a weapon light (as you should have anyways for all home defense firearms), a tungsten guide rod from Walther, and a brass backstrap from LOK Grips.
I don't think Glock is worth getting anymore because all of the striker-fired guns above have similar reliability to a Glock, but also have better sights and trigger. Check out the other options above as far as ergonomics and controls go.

Competition (which competition? - revolver? IDPA? USPSA (which division?)?)
You could use the handguns in the Self Defense section above in IDPA, that's what that competition is geared towards anyway. The below two are solid options for something like USPSA Limited Division)

• G34 (a good cheaper option compared to the CZ Shadow 2, but it'll need more work out of the box... trigger, sights, I like tungsten guide rods and talon grips as well)

I'm all ears if anyone has anything in mind for better value, but the CZ Shadow 2 was one of those guns I honestly wanted to hate. I've always loved the looks of 1911's/2011's and so when I got into handguns and learned top competitors are often using a 2011 or a CZ Shadow 2 I just needed to find something to hate about this gun to put it behind me and never look back. It just never happened though. This pistol is incredible. The trigger is amazing. The grip, as ridiculous as it looks, is very practical. Super reliable, like any other CZ.

As I will be traveling, it is crucial that the camera can be charged with my powerbank. Unfortunately, there are no stores within a feasible radius that carry the Z6ii to test this. For this reason, I wanted to ask the community if Nikon cameras can be charged with standard powerbanks? Canon is said to be very picky in this area; I hope that Nikon isn't and accepts to be charged with anything.

Basically, the house I'm living in is not my own. Myself and the owner will likely not be living here within the next 6 months. The owner intends to sell the property "as is" and take a loss in order to expedite legal matters (it's a divorce). We know the problem is the roof, and there are plenty of water stains on various parts of the ceiling that have accumulated over the past decade or so. Our intent is not to repair the actual cause of the problem. The solution I need is a DIY fix to patch up the leak from the inside of my bedroom, only to the extent that it will hold for 6 months or so and not collapse onto my head while I'm sleeping (of course it has to be right over my bed). So far, from what I'm learning/theorizing, a small hole in/near the center point of the leak, try to shove some silica packets up through it, plug the hole back, then spread a couple layers of spackle (I know that's probably not what to actually use, but my knowledge of these types of product names is limited). We've been getting an inordinate amount of rainstorms lately, but should have a few days of a break at the beginning of next week. Assuming the coming 3 days of rain doesn't just cause the thing to collapse over the weekend, I'll basically need to begin and finish this DIY on the Tuesday or Wednesday following the date of this post. If y'all would be so kind, I would be very appreciative for a list of materials and detailed instructions. Everything I'm finding online are instructions for fixing the leak properly, but again, a permanent fix is not the goal here. Cheap, not too crazy difficult for a disabled person to do, and not having to address it again while I'm still living here. Thank you so much in advance.
Details: the actual stain is very roughly 2' by 2'. There is a part where the popcorn ceiling is cracking/peeling away, but that isn't where the water is coming from. If there is sagging, it's either so minimal that I can't see it, or it's under the peeling portion and being obscured. The perimeter of the stain butts up to the wall. The dripping on day 1 was from a single spot. On day 2, it was dripping from several spots in the same area (within a roughly 6" diameter). I've been catching the leak with stacks of paper towel in a wicker fruit basket (this causes a lot less splashing than a towel, and there's not enough room to fit a bucket or anything; let alone the noise it would cause directly over my head), so I can't really guesstimate the approximate volume other than to say it was about half a roll of the jumbo sized Bounty brand, lol.

Hey everybody,
I am experiencing some issues with some STK S4 (neck) and S6 (bridge) pickups I've bought used on Reverb, well reviewed sellers. I've installed them into my Yamaha Pacifica 112V with a new tone pot and selector switch (both fender) and initially, I assumed there was no sound coming through them.
It turns out after wiring them directly to the output jack (white lead, black and bare wires ground, red taped off as per SD schematic guides) that the lead is just super low volume, and the neck is even lower. I also tested the middle directly, and sure enough it was just as loud as it was when I first got the guitar.
At this point, it’s either a loose connection somewhere in the wire leading into the wiring cavity on the back since I’ve checked all connections there, or both pickups are busted. What gets me is that they are both used from different vendors and have the exact same issue despite there being proof they worked fine beforehand. The only thing I can think of that would cause them to break that Ive done is remove the pickup covers on them, but it didn’t seem to break anything?
