Someone gave me this PC and I want to make it fit more into a Proxmox server to run also some services but also to have AI services and one Win VM for gaming with passing through the GPU with IOMMU (If possible with this GPU?).
First I definitely need more storage, right now there is one HDD with 2T. As you can see in the pic, The cable harness that connected to the HDD has another two slots. Can I use them without the cable that connect to the HDD on the left of the connection? (I have only one like that). I have at home Samsung 870 QVO Series 8TB SATA III 2.5" Internal SSD MZ-77Q8T0. Can it connect to this setup? Do I need to buy different set of cables?
Also need memory, Which cards will be good for my setup?
Will appreciate any help to make this project successful !

I'm building my 2nd computer, having built my first cheap budget build in 2017! I've been away from the scene for a while and not caught up on the latest trends so I'd really appreciate any feedback on this build. I will be using it for graphic design/productivity and a mix of 1440p casual gaming. I'm somewhat flexible with my budget but hoping to not go over CAD $2600 unless very beneficial.
Was going more for aesthetics as I don't realistically need a computer this powerful but if there's any better performing or alternative components please do let me know. Especially if any of these components, manufacturers, or sellers are known to cause issues. Thank you!!

Is $150 worth the risk to buy a $2,100 Samsung 77S90S from Digital Supplies Inc (not a Samsung Authorized Reseller) on Amazon? ***Please share your experience, good or bad? How was your experience buying a $2k+ TV from Non Authorized TV Reseller? Part of me says $150 is not worth the worry that it's going to break right after warranty. However, if 80% report that they have had positive experiences, then why not save $150?

The other question is are gray market TVs inferior to TVs sold by authorized resellers? Similar to buying $100 designer pants at Ross for $30.

If within a year, can I send a defective TV to an authorized Samsung repair shop, and have it fixed free of charge?

We are not authorized dealers and provide the cps warranty .. This is brand new factory sealed. We are not related to beach camera and not affiliated. You will have to do warranty claims through CPS and they will arrange for a samsung tech to come to your house to service it for you.

Wasn't sure how to flair this since the problem could be any number of places - OS, firmware, hardware, network, who knows.
I have a custom-built Windows 10 desktop in one room of my apartment and a Samsung UN75NU8000 smart TV in another room. Both are connected to my local network via ethernet (although I've tried connecting both to my LAN via wifi and to a mobile hotspot network on my phone, with the same results). Since I cannot run an HDMI cable between the two rooms, I'm trying to cast to the TV as a wireless display over my LAN. I've been able to do this exact thing with no issues, on the same TV, using several other computers (all laptops - a W10 MSI laptop, a W10 Microsoft Surface, and a W11 Lenovo ThinkPad), but this desktop is giving me a ton of trouble.
On the laptops, the process is simple. I open the Notification Center in the bottom right corner of my screen, click Connect, and then select the TV from a list of available displays. Everything works seamlessly.
On my desktop however, the TV does not appear. It also does not appear if I go to Windows 10 Settings > Bluetooth & Other Devices > Add Bluetooth or Other Device > Wireless Display or Dock. However, it does appear - twice - if I select "Everything else" instead of "Wireless display or dock". The two listings appear identical (and both have the monitor icon, indicating that they are displays despite not appearing under displays), but they have slightly different behavior if I add them.
Adding either instance has it appear under "Other devices" on the "Bluetooth & other devices" menu. However, while both instances had the monitor icon in the "Add a Device" menu, one of them now instead shows the "film/musical note" icon that indicates a digital media device. The other still has a monitor icon.
Despite having added these two devices, the TV still does not appear as an available display in any context. If I look at Device Manager, I see both instances as separate devices.
The one with the digital media device icon appears under Digital Media Devices, which makes sense in itself, although it's odd that my desktop sees this second instance of the TV in the first place. The other instance, which remember has the monitor icon and seems to be recognized to some extent as a display, appears under Software Devices. If I open the properties of that device, the General pane recognizes its manufacturer as Samsung Electronics, but the Details pane describes it as a "Generic software device". If I attempt to update the driver, I am told that I already have the best generic software device driver installed.
On one of the laptops that is able to cast, I can see that it is using the system32\drivers\monitor.sys driver. I checked and that driver does exist on my desktop, but it is not available even if I go to "Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer" and clear "Show compatible hardware". The only three drivers it lists are "Generic printer device", "Generic software device", and "Uicc Iso Device". With "Show compatible hardware" selected, I only see "Generic software device". There doesn't seem to be any way to force it to use the monitor.sys driver.
I contacted Samsung customer support, and they verified that my TV firmware is up to date. I asked if they had any specialized drivers that I should install, and they responded no - their devices only use the standard Windows drivers.
From there, I went to Microsoft customer support and had a support engineer take remote control of my desktop to investigate. He verified that my OS and drivers are all up to date, ran some diagnostics, and told me that the issue must be a driver compatibility problem with my MSI motherboard. He directed me to MSI support.
MSI support was entirely unhelpful, telling me that they have no troubleshooting steps, downloads, or suggestions for further resources.
At this point I'm at a complete loss, and turning here in desperation. Below is a collection of raw information about my setup, in case anyone can figure out where the problem might possibly be. I haven't been able to find a single instance of anyone talking about this type of issue anywhere online.

I have a Samsung phone, still in warranty, and took it to a Samsung store today to get it fixed.
To my surprise, they refused to cover any work under the warranty citing that the T&C's exclude any device with evidence of 'physical damage'.
This means that even the tiniest scuff, scratch, or blemish invalidates the entire warranty, for any issue.
The issues my device has are well documented all over the internet as quite clearly being manufacturing defects, and not simply caused by a careless owner.
Is there any legislation I can cite in this situation? It seems like a very cheeky ploy on Samsung's part to absolve themselves of any responsibility for any issue.

Recently, my somewhat outdated PC started bluescreening once per day. After lots of diagnostics, I figured out it was something to do with my HDD. There were no issues with storage of personal files on the HDD...I am new to learning about PC's but I presume it was something to do with retrieving OS files smoothly. The diagnostic software from the manufacturer of the HDD never found any specific issues with it, but sometimes the hard drive checks would 'abort.' Anyways, I upgraded to an SSD and it's been smooth sailing ever since.
I have been wanting to set up a Plex server for movies & various media to share with my household. As I am on a budget, I'm thinking of temporarily using the old HDD for it, since it never seemed to have issues storing media, it just glitched out when running an OS. While I would not like to lose my files, I am also not too concerned with the prospect of it crapping out eventually, because most files hosted on it would either be things that can be redownloaded and/or things that I didn't pay money for...plus, I would definitely upgrade to a new drive when I have the budget to do so. My question is, would it be at least somewhat safe and reliable as auxiliary storage based on my situation?

I currently have an s21 ultra and want to upgrade. I was looking at the s24 when I compared the specs to my current one they were hardly better and worse in some ways. I understand that Ultras are upgraded versions but I thought a standard 3 years later would've caught up.
What I'm basically asking is why would I get a more expensive standard phone when I can get an older ultra with better specs and pricing (or just stick with my current one). I have already moaned about this on a thread today, but it just got worse. I sent my S23 Ultra into a Samsung Experience shop, and wow they werent wrong, it has been an experience.
What has been the most difficult sitaution is that these retail shops, despite selling Samsung products, the staff wearing Samsung t-shirts, the sign above the door saying "Samsung" is not actually Samsung, but a seperate set of individuals leasing the shop from Samsung.
This means as consumers we have very little protection.
The first day promised was Saturday, this was delayed as a third party could not supply the part required (charging port failed, would no longer charge via a wire). Then today the part was delivered but they couldnt sign off on their QA. So ive been without my phone since last week.
I complained to actual Samsung via the phone, they couldnt do anything because it is the 'Samsung experience store'. The Samsung store said that they cant do anything as the problem lies with actual Samsung. If i want a refund on the product (was deemed impossible, but i was really at the point of losing my mind) they said i had to go to my carrier who supplied the phone, which is EE. Which is just absolutely insane.
In terms of being treated fairly, as it is a manufacturers fault i have been messed around far too many times to consider staying with Samsung, they have built this impenitrable fortress around themselves so we, the customers are left going between 3 different companies to sort out a simple problem. Its so poor.
I cannot believe how bad they are. Its beyond beurocratic.

To the extent that the # of updates your phone will receive, or the number of years your phone will be eligible for upgrades, plays so heavily in the Android purchase decision? As I read about Android phones I am left with the impression that there are basically 2 Android brands worth buying - Google and Samsung - because nobody else seems to be willing/able to commit to making their phones last more than a couple of years with the latest software. Why?!? Is it too complicated for manufacturers? Should the update responsibilities fall to the carriers ( this may be the case for some phones)? There has to be a better way, or IOS will continue to dominate...
