shogun 2 cannot find mod location

So I recently started playing shogun 2 again and I realized that CA once again is changing their mod locations. For shogun 2 however, most of the mods are “outdated” although still working due to the new update is only about the launcher, those considered “outdated” will be dumped right into your data folder like before. And you’ll see them in your launcher right away. this gives people an illusion that CA did not move mods location for older titles like shogun 2. WRONG! If you are like me who like to use the pkm and edit the mods I download from workshop, you’d have a hard time finding the “updated” “new” mods in your data folder.
Because CA moved those new mods to workshop/content/34330
And it would be hard for you to isolate what’s going on if you have a lot of games with mods installed especially inside the 34330 folder, CA creates empty dummy folders as placeholders for the “outdated” mods. Considering how rare new mods are and how many mods you’ve already installed. You may be tricked and overlook the 34330 folder. I spent the effort so you don’t have to.

A while back, I could get away with downloading a variety of workshop mods whether they’re flagged as working or not and the games like Shogun 2/WH3 would always run, no issue. I haven’t touched them in the last year or so as they are suddenly so sensitive to mods and just crash on startup for me nowadays. Did they at some point just patch these games to not run with most mods?

A few months ago someone posted I think here with a download link of a few specifically blue wallpapers they made, they were absolutely gorgeous and were a staple for me in building. Unfortunately like a dumbass I accidentally deleted the entirety of my mod folder, if anyone recalls who made the set I would greatly appreciate you sharing the link again, thank you!

So i recently downloaded this modded map for doom 2 and its giving me technical/visual issues when i get to the part of the game where i cross one way thresholds… i deleted and re downloaded the file for the map once too see if that fixes the issue. im not tech savvy at all when it comes to this sort of stuff. anyone know what causes this issue?

Bit of a miscalculation on my part, but how do you download/extract flags from this mod

I am crashing all the time now. I have downloaded all the necesarry mods, such as 4gb patch, nvse, no stutter, anti crash, and many many more. But i am still crashing all the time, mainly when a loading screen happens, but i crash during normal gameplay. Is there anything I can do? i have rx 6600 xt and rx 5600x, and game is downloaded on a nvme ssd

Downloading/writing/deleting roms from the 45GB stock firmware seems redundant and I'm going to be setting a few of these up to give away to friends. Wish Anbernic would just offer the stripped down versions in addition, I would assume the reason their links get killed daily is everyone is busy ass-blasting these 40-60gb firmwares with roms they want to clear out.
I suppose I could just set one up then clone the card, but I am thinking the process of repartitioning etc from a clean image write is device-centric or is that an over assumption of Anbernic's way of doing things?
If none is available, can anyone explain the process of stripping the current massive one down and creating a new image. I am fairly technical, just haven't redone a sd image before. Is it as simple as mounting the 45GB image, deleting the contents of various rom folders, and creating a new image? RG35XXH stock-mod added features, that I know I can't do, but I would be willing to host the file for all if I can get it right.

Just downloaded the game and after 12h in, I'd like to take it to the next level! I'm a chick who loves driving, so I'd like to take the immersion all the way up! So far, I gathered that I'd need a couple of things:

• Few mods (Local radio, write down your favorite ones)
• Pedals + Wheel + Shifter
• A VR maybe? If so, which one's the best?
• Maybe a greenscreen? but I think that's a little too much.

Am I missing something? What would you add to feel as much in-game as possible? (gas is expensive lol)

My new Vegas has been very generous with crashing and I’ve done the first 3 dlcs and most of the main quests without any problems but now at level 40 hours into a play it crashes at any loading screen I’ve downloaded all the mods I’ve been reccomended to fix this like nvac DXVK and d3d9 and it’s still crashing at every loading screen anyone know to fix this at all

I downloaded the High Poly Head to True Vanilla NPC Overhaul but the mod requires the "High Poly Head" mod that is third party. I download the extra mod from a Zip file and when I put into the Nexus Vortex it makes it a mod and not a plug-in. This causes a "Missing Master" error to occur and thus the mod wont activate. Is there anyway to convert the High Poly Head or move it so it will show up in the load order? Sorry if I'm typing dumb or confusing, feel free to rip me in the comments :) thanks!

Hello dear FFXIV Community. I have a problem where my end of my windows and technical knownledge are reached. Since after the long DDOS attacks from FFXIV, I have the problem that my FPS goes down (and render latency goes high) when I logging into the game. In the menu and character selection my graphic card have without fps limiter the highest potential (In the task manager I see it goes up to 100% how it should be without fps limit). Even in the character selection. But in this moment where my char are connected to the world and loads into the world the fps goes very unstable between 70-21 fps. Out of any cities like residentials areas, Open world (not cities) dungeons. It is stable between 120-109 (but before the problem as well stable on 120) but as soon as I entering any cities the fps goes down. Much worse it is in the golden saucer, I am not able to play stuff like cliffhanger or other non gc-duty events. Before the problem happens I had always stable 120 fps (ok not limsa but that is know of course) don't matter where I was.
My deskop speci:
System-OS: Windows 11 Enterprise 64-bit (6.2, Build 9200) (22621.ni_release.220506-1250)
CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5950X 16-Core Processor (32 CPUs), ~3.4GHz
Motherboard: MSI Meg x570 ace
graphic card: Nvidia RTX 4090
RAM: 64gb
I play FFXIV on 4K on 120 fps what are absolutely fine before the problem occours.
On the funny way my notebook have the same problem with an rtx 2060 and a intel core processor.
What do I did already for fixing this problem by myself?

Use any Mods? No
I tried already:
Reinstalled graphic drivers. (I used DDU of course) and reinstalled a older version, removed nvidia geforce experience, removed nvidia app, removed nvidia control panel.
(Information any single graphic setting in the game and in the nvidia app and control panel I have switched. the same problem occours. Yes even with fullscreen, window borderless and window option was not working. play it on 800x600, same problem stays, yes even g-synch I switched on and off)
I reinstalled amd chipset driver. I reinstalled windows 11, I downloaded the game files again through the official launcher. I switched the drive. I tried it directly after I installed windows 11 new. I switched from DirectX11 to vulkan. I tried a lot of windows 11 settings (like game mode on and off, set powerplan to high end.) I disabled any "overlay stuff" like nvidia, windows x-box/game-bar.
My notebook have windows 10 and exactly the same problem. After asking a lot of people around I was notice I am a single case. No anyone seems to have the problem like me. I even used network analytics for find any a possible connection issue but nothing. My hardware are not broken so far. I used 3D Benchmark for cpu and the graphiccard (for cpu only cinebench R24) I used Dawntrail Benchmark and the scores on maximum settings for 4k was "very high score". Everythings from what my hardware can do are absolutely fine.
The funny things comes now. Always when I load into the world and everything goes worse. My graphic card sleeps on load 20%. Even all of my cores are sleeping (of course the 4 corse gets a load, but this is more sleeping then overload) I don't understand it anymore. How comes as long as I don't enter any world the load of cpu and my graphic cards can go to 100%, but as soon as I entering the world it goes down to 20% and does nothing anymore? (with the fps limiter in-game well.. This option just don't work even I put it on 29 fps it don't work, on nvidia panel this limiter works and I had always it on 120 fps even I turn it now off nothing changes happens)
If anyone have any idea I would be happy for help, then after 2 weeks of troubleshooting. I am on the end of my techical knownledge :(

Hey y'all, I've been experiencing persistent crashes with my game and could use some assistance. Despite several attempts to resolve the issue, I haven't had any success. Previously, I could run over 100 mods without any problems, but now the game crashes even with just one mod. Here are the steps I've taken so far:

1. Deleted all files in the SSE game folder and all SSE files in my documents folder.
2. Uninstalled and reinstalled SSE.
3. Downgraded to version 1.6.640.
4. Downloaded and copied SKSE 2.02.01 to the SSE game folder.
5. Reinstalled SkyUI using Vortex.

Despite these efforts, the game crashes about 30 seconds after loading. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I got a PS3 again to make sure I had all the digital games I bought downloaded before the Store someday gets shut down.
So I was thinking of playing Fallout 3 again and the PC version needs to be modded to run so I was thinking of getting it on Console again for a more Stable modless playthrough.
So what websites should I use? Ebay? or some other website?

I downloaded VNV to teach myself to mod. Now I'm looking at texture mods and reading the LOD guide but I've seen a lot of people on here messing it up. So do I download the texture mod I want and then use xLODGen following the guide? The texture mod I'm looking at says it has LOD files but how do I make sure they get included when I generate the LOD?

Hey everyone,
I recently came across the Realm of Thrones mod online, and decided to download it, along with various other mods that are generally recommended.
The issue I am dealing with right now is that, almost every NPC i come across in cities/towns, or out in the map, have been turned into White Walkers character model (race). This is whether I am in battle, or wandering around in a city like Winterfell.
I tried searching online but could not find a solution. I am wondering if anyone else has dealt with this issue?

I used the Oracle guide to set up a VPS to host a server, and was able to get all the way up to the part where I download Fabric, but the Fabric website says most mods use the API. I tried putting in the cmd: wget (link for cursedforge api dl) —content-disposition but it says ERROR 403: Forbidden. Also the Fabric guide says I’ll have to move this thing to the “mods” folder so what command do I have to put in exactly to do that, TIA

Hi All, I’m trying to run CD-hit on Ubuntu and can’t seem to access the file. The command line I’m running is cd-hit -i C:\users\user\Downloads\export.fasta -o C:\Users\user\downloads\OADA.fasta
The error code received is Fatal Error: Failed to open the database file Program Halted ! ! I’ve tried the ls command and can’t seem to access the windows directory at all. Any help would be much appreciated. I’ve been trying to teach myself as much as possible while juggling wetlab research.

Hello,
So I got SPT recently and it’s fun! I’ve been enjoying it and the freedom it provides as it feels like I can enjoy the game more.
I did download some mods like SAIN, Waypoints, Bot Looting, Bot Questing, etc because I heard it makes the boys act more human like.
I’ve been having performance issues though, on live EFT I would get 70-90 FPS but now my FPS bounces around 30-50 and maybe rarely 60.
I know one of the reasons is because I have to hose the server on my PC and my PC has to run all the bots, I did download an AI limiter and stuff and that helped me bounce up to 50-70 FPS on Customs, but my FPS is around 30-50 on Ground Zero.
I heard that more AI mods for the Bots affects performance by making their calculations even more complicated. Maybe if I delete my Bot/AI mods it will help performance even more? I’m just worried because (and I haven’t tried it without mods) but I’m afraid having no mods for the AI will make them not all too challenging or realistic and take the fun out.
How do default non-modded bots act? Should I delete my bots mods? Will it help performance?
(Also for some context, my 70-90 FPS on live EFT was with Medium settings, my 30-50 is on low settings)
