I am 32F and my LO is mid-40s to early 50’s and male. I am a social worker. He is my co worker but we don’t work closely together as he works in a different part of the service. We’ve been working together since September 2021 when I started my current role. He’s always been friendly and there have been times when I thought he was flirting. I myself have tried to flirt with him but I am socially awkward, have little experience with the opposite sex, and can’t do much other than intense eye contact and smiling lmao so I doubt I was smooth with it. We sometimes see each other on the office floor and don’t acknowledge each other - for example, if I’m depressed, I won’t say hi. We’ve barely interacted.
Anyway , he is bad news. Apparently married and also dating someone in the office so I should steer clear.
Sadly, work is shit without him and I think about him all the time. Yesterday , I sent him an email asking if he could call me as I wanted to speak. He called me and I said and did the following :
I am really attracted to him and have masturbated to the thought of him. I’ve done a lot of cyber stalking too. I don’t want a relationship with him I think.
I’ve got adhd and borderline personality disorder along with the usual like depression and anxiety. I’ve experienced childhood trauma. Had a lot of therapy over the years including the treatment for BPD and looking to go back into it. Also looking to get my adhd treated. I know I feel like this partly because I am lonely and have been for most of my life.
It’s not the first time I’ve experienced this but it’s the first time I’ve been limerent for a coworker.
FML. I feel sad that he didn’t say that he feels the same way and happy that I have got it off my chest. I felt like crying at work today and I think it’s because of this situation.

- I told him work is boring when he isn’t there and that he is never in -asked him if I have ever made him feel uncomfortable - he said no
- asked him if he has ever flirted with me or picked up on flirting from me - no to both
- told him I lack social skills and was assessed for autism but it was negative
- told him that I’ve asked him questions I know the answer to just so I can talk to him -told him I don’t say hi sometimes because I am depressed. -told him if I talk to him in the kitchen, I’m either gonna say nothing or be inappropriate. -told him I’m an overthinker -told him I have adhd and I’m working on getting it treated but I did take my medication today and that I used to be more impulsive as a child -asked him to pretend I don’t exist - he replied he’s going to be authentic -spoke about how I’m not planning to leave my job any time soon

Tenar arrives at the haying and asks the women about the leather capped man. Nobody is sure why he, Handy, isn't there, but they view his kind as shiftless so that's no surprise. After she mentions the child the workers, being weary of the villagers let alone Ogion's apprentice, move on.
Tenar heads to the road and comes across Aspen, the wizard from before. He asks if she's there for work, and Goha is sure he says this not because he doesn't recognize her from before but more as an insult or warning. Tenar instead says she was going to warn the overseer that they had hired a thief known to her village. It takes him awhile to answer that he doesn't know about the hirelings, and Tenar suddenly realizes he seems older and more wizened than appearances. Suddenly he calls her a witch, a gossip, and a liar, and that he should have punished her over the incident with Ogion's body, and also, about Therru, that, "[t]he man did well who tried to destroy that creature, but the job should be completed." He says, "'Have you understood me?' 'No,' Tenar said. 'I have never understood men like you.'" She leaves down the road, but gets a static sensation and turns to see the wizard gathering dark lightning with his staff and started to speak a curse (she has a realization that because Ged has lost his power she kind of superimposed this on all others).
Two of the men from Havnor interrupt this, ostensibly (and, unfortunately, as a bit of a faux pas) to stop Aspen. They address her very cordially, at least one of them with honor, referencing her past deeds with the Ring. "'Ah,' said Tenar, flustered and warmed right through--'there’s all kinds of power in the world!--Thank you.'" She wasn't sure if the wizard knew of this or not, but it doesn't matter, as he hates her, as he hates Therru, because she is a woman. She thanks the envoys, in particular by giving them the information that Ged will need time but will get back to them, and draws positive comparison to them and the new order by the new King: "There was indeed a king upon that throne, and in his crown the chiefest jewel would be the Rune of Peace." She in particular was quite fond of the younger one which showed her particular reverence... though on turning back she is a bit sad to find (unfortunately, understandably) that they are chatting with the wizard as if nothing happened.
The men stay a few days and leave without contacting Ged, and Tenar finds some difficulty in a reason to stay around, particularly with Aspen the wizard and Handy the leather capped man now quite openly a threat. She feels like in leaving though she will lose the last bit of Ogion less, and on top of that "...she thought, 'I will never dream of the sky, down there.' Here, where Kalessin had come, she was Tenar, she thought. Down in Middle Valley she would only be Goha again." She doesn't let Therru out of her sight, and the days pass.
After being told everything, Aunty Moss had put out feelers in the acquaintances at the manor (after all, she was a healer and whatnot and so had some heft). A tale emerges that the younger lord, the grandson, had become sick and withered following the death of his mother, and oddly instead of seeking out Ogion or healers they sent for a wizard from Roke. Something a bit more than a rumor emerges, that they had been keeping women away from the manor and that the wizard was working on keeping the old lord, probably more than a century old, immortal off of the grandson's life. There's such a "let it be" attitude in the village that even Aunty Moss doesn't outright call it an evil (though she does think it'll all go wrong). Tenar had started asking villagers about Handy, the leather capped man, including if he left the area or not, but only received vague, uncommitted replies in return. Tenar was generally viewed as an outsider and uncordially by all but Fan, the old weaver.
Therru was kept close by, though she seemed to like this "...as a much younger child [might], working with her or playing. Her play was with cat's cradle, basket making, and with a couple of bone figures that Tenar had found in a little grass bag on one of Ogion's shelves.... To Tenar they had no sense of power or danger about them, and Moss said, 'Just toys.' To Therru they were a great magic. She moved them about in the patterns of some silent story for hours at a time...." She also learned to spin wool into yarn. Tenar felt like she wasn't "teaching all" like Ogion had said, though the Goha part of her said that the more homely arts, and the wisdom behind general good living, were true arts in themselves. One afternoon Tenar tries to to Therru the true name of a stone, but then (for a specific reason, after Therru mouths the name) she thinks it's just not time yet for it. Instead, she teaches her a fable that Lark had thought their children together, of Andaur, a woodcutter who cut down an oak tree that had a human voice, and Avad. Once again, "As long ago as forever, as far away as Selidor..."
That night, however, Tenar is wracked with anxieties while trying to sleep. These start general but get more and more specific and dark (supernatural, even) that Tenar wakes, makes a countersign, then springs from bed and yells, "'You come too late, Aspen. I was eaten long ago. Go clean your own house!' There was no answer, no sound, but a faint, sour, vile smell of burning-singed cloth or hair." She sets Ogion's staff on the door, checks on Therru, and does not sleep that night. The next day they visit the village to sell their yarn to Fan, and a curious incident happens where Tenar is pelted by stones as if by rain (there are some boys hiding about). Tenar starts to get shaky, and when they arrive at the house it's apparent someone was there: "It smelled of burned meat and hair. The coverlet of their bed had been disarranged." She realizes a spell had been put on her, it was no coincidence that the same word she had tried teaching Tenar was thrown back at her. Even her thoughts seem to turn against her, and to combat this she tries to think in Kargish. It's like she's contacting her old self, Arha the dark priestess, who reacted last night and knew curses and knew how to live in (or with) darkness. Tenar realizes she must leave, and a somewhat funny (in a way) incident happens with Heather (she tries to give her the goats and to keep up the household in other ways) where the words she wants to say only come out as insults. She gestures to Therru to come in the house to prepare to leave, and Therru poignantly reacts to the stench in the house. Amongst the activity a couple things are interesting, Tenar makes Therru water the peach, and Tenar empties her fabric to make room for (Ogion's, Ged's, "Hers") three great books instead of leaving them in the desecrated place. They take the staves Tenar had carved, leave Ogion's in the dark corner, and leave with "...the door of the house wide open to the wind from the sea."
They leave, instinctually she bypasses the main road, as if she met Aspen on the way she'd be lost. A mile away she knows she choose well, the words (Hardic and true) come back to her, first the true word for "stone", then "Kalessin", then she feels better. On the way to Gont Port, Tenar is thrilled to see a ship driven by magewind. A small segment here about the few towns Tenar has visited. Fifteen miles they had traveled (Therru steadfast, but certainly tired) when they come across a gate with two stone dragons surrounding it. Surprised by a guard (they guard city gates? What do they keep out?) she unwittingly does a perfect imitation of Heather and the guard, bored, lets them through. Gont Port is a living cacophony and Therru is transfixed. They travel along southward, the plan possibly to camp in a forest, when Therru alerts Tenar that the man in the leather cap is there. He spots them, pauses, and they run. They arrive at the docks and they are past their limit. Tenar asks a sailor if this is a ship from Havnor. It is, but he can't let her on it.
Suddenly, the man in the leather cap, Handy, appears behind her. He entreats her that she didn't have to flee, he was the one that got aid for Therru, and he wants to help them. "He put out his hand as if drawn irresistibly to touch Therru. Tenar could not move. She had promised Therru that he would never touch her again. She saw the hand touch the child’s bare, flinching arm." Suddenly a younger sailor (it seems to be Tenar's son for a moment) appears and asks what Handy wants with them. Handy says Tenar took his niece, "witched it", and ran off with her. She pleads the sailor to let her board and the sailor takes her to the deck and tells Handy to wait there. Tenar collapses, "...dropping the heavy sack but clinging to the child. 'Don't let him take her, oh, don't let them have her, not again, not again, not again!'"

Good evening, I'm new here in Reddit and I discovered this app on tiktok so allow me to release my frustrations and pains here.
I'm 22 yrs old (F) and I'm currently working na. I decided to share my story here because no one really knows what I feel since then.. esp i don't have my own circle of friends.
First year HS when I met J and we're not on the same section, I saw him everyday because some of my classmates were his friends, I don't like him at first.. kasi medyo maingay sila na mag babarkada and hate ko talaga ang maingat esp na natutulog talaga ako during vacant namin. I didn't mind them and months had passed at intramurals na namin.
J joined the basketball team at ako? Wala, I'm not sporty kaya taga nood lang ako at sumasali lang sa class dance presentation. I'm fan of basketball that's why I chose to watch it and cheer to our year level. He's good in basketball.. can't deny that. I cheered him in silence since we're on the same year level naman. I was really amazed of how he play...
Months had passed again and i guess my classmates noticed me looking at him and they started to teased me towards him, Syempre indenial tayo. Lol.
I thought everything will just be normal after but when i opened my facebook i found out that he added me on facebook and so I accepted him and he sent a lot of like sticker and btw it happened last 2013. So i got upset and chatted him what was that for and he said "Na pindot ko lang" so i didn't mind him then nag m-manual type ata sya ng emoji kasi nag send sya ng [[Midfing] at basta nag away kami don and i told him na "Bakit nag add kapa at mag sisinuplado ka?" And he answered me "Kung pwede lang sana ma undo (Unfriend)" Sabi ko pwede naman ah at pwede mo rin ako ma block and since HS pa ako at eme-eme pa so ako nag block sa kanya.
FF. 2nd year HS were just normal, we don't talk it's like we're totally strangers.. idk if he knows me kasi sabi niya napindot niya lang naman ang add sa Facebook. Despite what happened to us (Sa chat) i was still cheering him every intrams namin. Minsan nagkaka eye contact kami pero hindi ako nag aassume, but yes i know na crush ko na sya.
All of our teachers knew that i was into him that's why every time na dadaan sya samin pinapapasok sya sa room and they will tease us. Sa room din sya namin nag tatambay every vacant since friends nya classmates ko.
3rd year HS at hindi ko na ma isa isa memories namin basi for me happy ako na kahit minuto lang yon ay napasaya niya puso ko at don na ako nababahala kasi parang hindi na normal, Nag seselos na ako, na iinis na ako at nalulungkot ako pag wala sya. I tried to divert my feelings to someone kay CJ 4th year HS sya and he was a nice guy and very gentlemen. Sa months na pag uusap namin i can say that we're in good terms but i know to my self na si J parin gusto ko.
Alam ko na mali na parang pinapaasa ko si CJ but i told him everything naman at inaccept niya din reason ko kasi nararamdaman din naman daw niya. I lost contact with CJ and tried to stop my feelings for J pero it's not easy.

4th year HS and it will be the last year na makita ko sya because we will be studying in different university na sa college. As what i said i really tried to forget him but it's really not easy.. so go with the flow nalang ako. Hindi ako na iimik everytime na tinutukso kami. One time naka charge phone ko and my classmate which is his friend took my phone and tried to unlock my phone but they couldn't guess the pattern so my classmate ask him "J_______ ano ang pattern?" I just watched them and he grabbed my phone from my classmate and tried to connect the dots and formed letter J .. like wth? but that wasn't the pattern of my phone.
2 months before our graduation was our town fiesta and we're all busy practicing our dance presentation again and as usual samin sya naka tambay. Hapon noon ng pumasok sya na lasing nahh.. tipsy nalang at dumeretso sila sa classroom namin. Sa tabi ko sya pinaupo ng classmate ko at vinideohan kami nila. Some of his classmates were also there and teased us.
Ayon nalang year after nalaman ko na may girlfriend na sya at ang girlfriend nya ay isa rin sa tumutukso samin.
I thought infatuated lang ako, I thought crush ko lang talaga sya. Pero 11 yrs na at ang hirap niyang kalimutan. Gusto ko din naman maging masaya kahit hindi na sana SYA, Okay lang. He's happy now and i think deserve ko din naman maging masaya. I really tried to forget him, I really tried to move on kahit walang kami pero kung saan na medyo hindi ko na sya na iisip diyan naman sya nag papakita sa panaginip ko. TANGINA ANG HIRAP. PARANG BINABANGUNGOT AKO. GUSTO KO LANG NAMAN MAGING MASAYA.

One time naka charge phone ko and my classmate which is his friend took my phone and tried to unlock my phone but they couldn't guess the pattern so my classmate ask him "J_______ ano ang pattern?" I just watched them and he grabbed my phone from my classmate and tried to connect the dots and formed letter J .. like wth? but that wasn't the pattern of my phone.
2 months before our graduation was our town fiesta and we're all busy practicing our dance presentation again and as usual samin sya naka tambay. Hapon noon ng pumasok sya na lasing nahh.. tipsy nalang at dumeretso sila sa classroom namin. Sa tabi ko sya pinaupo ng classmate ko at vinideohan kami nila. Some of his classmates were also there and teased us.
Ayon nalang year after nalaman ko na may girlfriend na sya at ang girlfriend nya ay isa rin sa tumutukso samin.

I've had a several WD with the gap of 30-35day, i also edge unintentionally due to social media use as y'all know while scrolling you might see something that turns you on. I quickly scroll past it and never think about it again but it still counts.
I also smoke, I'd say regularly at night. Not in big amounts but i still smoke weed/hash, whichever is available. I'd like to know the effects of it on my SR journey as I'm unable to trace it myself.

Hi everyone, I'm just looking for maybe some recommendations, my father is a high functioning alcoholic, he lives by himself with his dog with the closest neighbor being 20 minutes away. I worry constantly about his safety but we have a low contact relationship, where we talk maybe once every couple weeks. The only thing that helps ease my mind currently is seeing whether he's active or not on Facebook as that's the only socials he has and it's not always reliable if he's not on there. I do think he would wear a smart watch if I were to purchase it for him, if I were to tell him it is to track his steps and check his heart rate and stuff like that. I'm just wondering if anyone has any recommendations for a smart watch that would be able to be tracked by an android phone (we are both android users) I would prefer if it didn't need to be connected to a cellular plan, but that could be an option as well. I just would like to be able to check daily that he is breathing, and it would be nice for me to be able to track where he is, but the breathing and heart rate are the main priorities for me. I have alternate options to tell where abouts he is like an airtag on his vehicle.

Abaddon thinks the man’s dead at first, but he’s not. He’s cowering. Frozen.
Abaddon crouches down. ‘Hell’s teeth,’ he whispers. ‘Argonis?’
Kinor Argonis trembles at the sound of his name. His plate, even his flesh, is covered in slimy, atramental mould, like the surface of the bridge stations. There’s a massive wound across the side of his face, as though he has taken a glancing blow from a maul. The wound is still bleeding.
‘Kinor? Kinor, it’s Ezekyle. Kinor, wake up.’
Argonis, equerry to the Warmaster, slowly turns his head to look at Abaddon. There is no real recognition in his eyes, but there is fear. Abaddon has never seen true fear expressed in the eyes of an Astartes battle-brother.
‘Kinor, what happened?’
Argonis’ lips bubble, incoherent. He’s panting, whimpering quietly.
‘Argonis,’ Abaddon says. He places his hands on the equerry’s shoulders and tries to straighten him up to make eye contact. ‘Argonis? It’s me. It’s the First Captain. Speak. Where is Lupercal?’
‘Lupercal!’ Argonis snorts, like it’s a curse, or a bark of pain.

‘H-h-heee was here…’ Argonis gasps, sucking in a breath between each syllable. He convulses, and bile spills out of his mouth and down the front of his plate. ‘He was! He was! He was! He–’
‘Calm, brother. Get a grip on yourself. Where did he go?’
‘He was,’ gurgles Argonis, ‘terrible.’
Abaddon pulls back from Argonis. Something… Impossibly, something has overridden the equerry’s Astartesian fear-control conditioning. ‘Kinor?’
‘He is… He became something… He became… I didn’t want to see. He made me see. He made me look. I didn’t want to. Ezekyle, I didn’t. I didn’t want to look.’
He starts to weep. It would be pathetic if it wasn’t so chilling.
‘Rest,’ says Abaddon. ‘Take a rest for a moment. Clear your head. Close your eyes.’

Background- I (26M) work in minor league sports and travel with the team on the road. About a month ago a players GF introduced to her best friend (23F) and we hit it off. After a few dates and nights spent at each others houses, the team took a 4-day road trip. While we were gone, I got a few check-in messages, like she was watching online and happy we won, but I felt something was off.
We get back in town and she calls things off giving me a paragraph basically saying a whole lot of nothing and "I dont know what next year is going to look like and I dont think it's fair that we keep seeing each other and i really wish nothing but the absolute best for you." The consensus was she caught feelings for the first time in a while and did not know how to handle them, so she ran away from the situation.
Hurt, but that stuff happens, where it gets interesting is she still shows up to the game last weekend, not with the players GF (her best friend) I had heard from other GFs on the team that she just showed up by herself. It's a public place and I get it... then she shows up to the team bar afterwards for the celebration, a place we had been multiple times together. The players GF told me she told her not to come and it was a bad idea if she actually wanted things to be done, but she didnt listen. Just weird to me. I noticed she was there, didnt make eye contact or acknowledge her but every time I was walking by or going to the bathroom she turned away.
At the second bar the GF came up to me and said the girl left because I didn't say anything to her or even look at her. I was confused because I thought I was not suppose to if she was the one who ended things. The GF said she had no idea why she ended things but they would talk all the time about our dates and time together. I know she's still keeping tabs on me, but I dont know what my next move is. Me and her havent talked in a week and I know she's out of town right now, just dont know what to expect when she comes back.

For background, the party consists of a Rogue, a Fighter, a Wizard, and a Monk. They are at level 8. They just finished a boss fight wherein they took a bit of a beating. The module I am running, Courts of the Shadow Fey, listed the reward for this fight as "an appropriate very rare magic item."
As you can see the party is lacking in healing options. So, I came up with this:
Plague Doctor Doll
Wonderous Item (tiny construct), neutral, very rare (requires attunement)
A Plague Doctor doll in vintage attire, clasping a shimmering silver staff in its leather-wrapped, wooden hands. A highly detailed snake - also in silver with precious stones for eyes - coils around the staff. Its head faces out as if watching. The doll's tall, brimmed hat casts a mysterious shadow over the classic beak mask.
The doll must be attuned to a person to be activated. Otherwise, it is just a mundane toy. The doll considers the attuned person their owner. It may be carried or placed on the floor. If placed on the ground, the doll will move on its own and will stay within 60ft of the owner when possible. Should it become separated from its owner by more than 60ft it will become dormant again until reunited with its owner, or if someone else attunes to it.
When active, the doll acts on its own initiative. The doll has the stats of a living doll except for the actions. It can only take the Dash, Dodge, Disengage, or Hide actions. These are bonus actions for it. It must use its action to cast spells as determined below. While it understands common it cannot speak. It communicates via small pasteboard cards it pulls from its robe.
With the owner's permission, the doll can bond with up to 5 other people. It gives each of its bonded friends a small card that reads, "My name is Asclepius. I am here to help." Those so bonded are considered friendly to it and, along with the owner, can call on the doll for aid, using their bonus action to do so. In response, the doll will use its action to cast one of the spells in the following table with either the caller or itself as target. The DM will determine the spell cast by rolling the dice as indicated. For spells requiring concentration, the owner is considered to be the one concentrating.

Today I had my first meeting with a therapist who is also specialized in autism, at the moment I am simply suspecting I might be on the spectrum.
I previously had one that wasn't specialized in it, nor did I perceive her as helpful. It was partially my fault because I wasn't able to talk to her and when I brought up my suspicions regarding autism after some sessions, she quickly got dismissive and just said it's the way I am and this is a much complex matter.
With the new therapist, it felt much better. I won't lie, I was super anxious at the beginning and was upfront about it, but I quickly started speaking about my problems that have been burdening me for years: feeling misunderstood, not being into social interactions, being perceived as weird and feeling constantly burnt out.
After I rambled for a while, in a moment of pause, she asked me if I had ever been assessed or if I am diagnosed with anything, to which I said no due to my parents just not believing in mental health and that I just had to try harder, to which she replied with: "Hmm, I see. Have you ever thought or gotten informed regarding autism?"
That was my breaking point. I started talking about it, how it felt like I have found something that, for once, described how I've been feeling for so damn long, and she said that all the things I've listed sounds very very much like ASD (both for what I was talking about and my actions, apparently I was quite fidgety and didn't give eye contact when I spoke which I didn't even notice), and I started crying.
I finally felt understood and I shared that with her, unfortunately she cannot perform assessments but we will look into a center or professional that can do that.
For now, this is a huge step for me and I feel as if a weight has been lifted off of my shoulders, I didn't feel judged at all, especially after these excruciating years. I really hope to get evaluated soon.

It was partially my fault because I wasn't able to talk to her and when I brought up my suspicions regarding autism after some sessions, she quickly got dismissive and just said it's the way I am and this is a much complex matter.
With the new therapist, it felt much better. I won't lie, I was super anxious at the beginning and was upfront about it, but I quickly started speaking about my problems that have been burdening me for years: feeling misunderstood, not being into social interactions, being perceived as weird and feeling constantly burnt out.
After I rambled for a while, in a moment of pause, she asked me if I had ever been assessed or if I am diagnosed with anything, to which I said no due to my parents just not believing in mental health and that I just had to try harder, to which she replied with: "Hmm, I see. Have you ever thought or gotten informed regarding autism?"
That was my breaking point. I started talking about it, how it felt like I have found something that, for once, described how I've been feeling for so damn long, and she said that all the things I've listed sounds very very much like ASD (both for what I was talking about and my actions, apparently I was quite fidgety and didn't give eye contact when I spoke which I didn't even notice), and I started crying.
I finally felt understood and I shared that with her, unfortunately she cannot perform assessments but we will look into a center or professional that can do that.
For now, this is a huge step for me and I feel as if a weight has been lifted off of my shoulders, I didn't feel judged at all, especially after these excruciating years. I really hope to get evaluated soon.

My step mom anointed herself the wedding planner as she’s passionate about it. She also cannot make the trip due to a disability which makes it hard for her to get around. It was getting close to crunch time for the headcount planning so I contacted her asking “hey I haven’t heard from the boys and I can follow up with them too, but do you know if any are planning on coming?” She then answers “no because the baby doesn’t know his school schedule and the older one can’t afford it”.
I was hoping to at least have one join as I assumed one would want to stay behind to stay with Anna but I was a little sad that neither of them contacted me to let me know directly. I told my sister who connected with them and told them to get in touch. The youngest was shocked to hear that he wasn’t going as he was under the impression that he was going and he had even picked up extra shifts at work to save extra money. My step brother confirmed it was a money issue which was totally fine and I thanked him for letting me know. I’m now excited that one of my brothers will also be joining.
Fast forward to Mother’s Day and Anna tells no Ben is not going. My Dad asserts that “he doesn’t know how to clean his room so why should he go?”
Once I hear about this conversation I’m irritated as I keep getting conflicting answers and I need to set my headcount. I Message my dad to get an update and he affirms “no Ben is not going because he ran up our car insurance up so his extra money will go towards that and he has to stay home with Anna”. I call up my dad to try to figure things out as the story keeps changing. I mention that I’m totally okay if the boys can’t come especially if it comes down to money, but the communication around everything has been really frustrating. He then proceeds to gaslight me asking:
“I don’t know why you care some much about whether or not your brothers come to your wedding”
“You’re doing too much. You should have just done the courthouse and call it a day”
And making me out to be a bridezilla.
The call got a little heated but we neither of us got rude or nasty. I finally ended the call with “I got the boys aren’t coming. That’s fine. Once I get confirmation on the accommodations I’ll let you know. Love you and have a good night” we hang up and I go to bed after venting about the whole situation with my sister.
I wake up the next morning to find a short message from my dad saying he’s not going anymore and to have a nice wedding. He’ll give his spot to Ben.
I am shocked. Not only did he drop himself from the wedding but over a misunderstanding on his part. I never guilted anyone about not including my brothers and did not beg or anything. I literally just commented on how frustrated I was with their communication but he aggressively wants to misunderstand for some reason.
I wrote back explaining my position and mentioning my disappointment in his decision but let him know the door is open if he changes his mind. I tried to message Anna but she’s been ignoring messages. From what I heard from my sister she is team dad and busy trying to vilify me.

I just had my first TMS session last night. It wasn't bad except for a random, sharp pain through my left eye brow and a bit of my cheek bone every time the treatment was active. The tech and doctor both tried to adjust the coil, etc, but it made no difference; they said they literally had never heard of or seen anyone experience this.

I tried contact lenses for the first time for a total of 5 minutes. Those 5 minutes were enough to give me a painful red stye. I’m on antibiotics but the last time I got a stye it took me 4 months to get rid of it.
I’m flying soon for 12 days to see my friends in the country I went to college in. My life is miserable and I’ve been looking forward to this for 2 months. I had it all planned out.

i met my ex when we were both 17 and in junior college (jc). he was my first real love and serious relationship. we continued to date for about 2.5 years after date, with multiple attempts of breaking up. in hindsight, it wasn't healthy. he was controlling and i had crippling anxiety and self-esteem. he would insist on having a say in what clothes i wore, how i dealt with body hair, tattoos, what activities i joined in university etc.
when we tried first to break up, he was very civil, saying things like he would wait for me and he still cares about me etc. but soon he tried contacting me on every communication platform possible. if i blocked him on whatsapp, he would telegram me etc. untill one night i agreed to meet him on zoom and he begged me to give him another chance. i said "i'm not saying no but i'm not saying yes". he wouldn't take that answer the first few times but eventually let me hang up and go to sleep. the next day, he sent me a long text saying i didn't deserve him (considering all the efforts he made in the past few days) and that it was my fault for not being strong enough to overcomes the trauma (he caused me) to try again.
since then he went on to date the girl he told me not to worry about. but they broke up after about a year. he goes to the same university as me but i am graduating soon. i have bumped into him a couple of times in school and it triggered a lot of feelings for me. there was one time where i contacted him and at the end of it he told me to "never contact him again".
i am 23 now and in a new healthy relationship (for almost 2.5 years). i started therapy at 19 and have tried to work out relationship issues with my ex ever since then. i have since moved on to a different therapist and our main therapy goal at the moment is to help me get over the trauma of my ex.
after years of therapy and time away from my toxic ex, i have forgotten about how it feels to be in that toxic relationship. my brain still knows the pain he caused me but i have physically forgotten what it feels like. but as i have forgotten about the bad times, it has made me miss him more and more over the good times. i made so many memories of young love with my ex that i can never get back or experience again (eg. meeting each other in between lessons in jc, walking to tuition together in our uniforms etc). now, these all feel like "wasted memories".
