European here, does anyone else find it ridiculous that smoking areas have been moved to the front of the park?
I know you Americans have a love hate relationship with ciggies but over here it’s a lot more socially acceptable to smoke outside in restaurants. Smoking areas are the most sociable places in the parks, I’ve met so many nice strangers bonding over a smoko and shared a lot of life stories with the nicest people, you don’t get that anywhere else in the parks everyone is to busy.
I don’t quite get it either, I see a lot more people now smoking/vaping in hidden bushes. I wouldn’t say I’m asking for the place to have completely public smoking but to have at least one in the back of the park hidden away from the kids would be really nice. Or even an indoor smoking room like we have in our airports where the smell doesn’t travel.
I mean it’s already a hot and stressful day why make it even harder on the vast majority of Europeans who visit the park. I almost died walking from Peter Pan to the new smoking area on the grand floridan trial, it’s like a 2 mile walk in 34 degree weather.
Look I get if you don’t want to smell or inhale second hand smoke, but it’s just 3 or 4 areas hidden away, you have the whole rest of the park im just asking for 30 feet max.

Hace poco cuando estaba laburando arreglando unas cosas en la casa de unos vecinos del barrio escucho a la dueña hablar con la hija diciendo que tenían que buscar un técnico urgente por qué su PC andaba mal y yo completamente de onda le pregunté si podia hecharle una mano, corto con lo que estoy haciendo para revisarla, entro al cuarto la madre me presenta a esta chica vamos a llamarla flor, charlamos un poco por arriba yo Masomenos me hacía una idea de lo que le pasaba a la compu y me puse a trabajar sin sentarme como me es de costumbre y ella insitia en que me sentará cuestión la PC estaba más complicada de lo que parecía así que me terminó sentando en eso ella se que al lado mío preguntandome cosas básicas corte mi nombre edad etc (pensó que me era mas grande de lo que soy) después hablamos de lo que le podria pasar a la máquina y le di un sermon full gordo compu y después de eso hablamos un poco de que estudiábamos y de que trabajaba ella y de alguna que otra boludes, en eso mi jefe me llama devuelta para seguir con el trabajo mientras dejaba instalando un antivirus cuestión que ella se va me saluda a la distancia y me avisa de que me dejó su ig y número en el escritorio, cuando bajo a continuar con la compu al rato entra la madre y me sigue hablando de ella diciendome que es una muy buena chica y que es muy trabajadora y no se que más, la madre cuando vio que todavia no habia anotado su numero insite en que lo haga y luego se eso empieza sarpado interrogatorio me empezó a preguntar si había terminado la secundaria (no xd) si tenía planeado estudiar algo más después de eso y me pregunta si no quería ir a trabajar en el local donde trabajaba Flor en fin fue una situación medio extraña, termine instalando opera gx porque el problema era que tenia Windows 11 con 4gb de ram y el opera termino aligerando un poco el trabajo de la ram cuando volví a casa a la noche le mando mensaje para saber si estaba comoda con el navegador me contesto contenta que si despues de eso hablamos un poco más y me invitó a tomar algo y nuestras interacciones desde ese entonces son yo le mando mensajes a la mañana que son mis únicos tiempos libre y ella trata de contestarme en sus tiempos libres en el laburo o la facu y siempre me manda un mensaje de buenas noches sin falta no se cómo sentirme durante estos últimos 2 años estuve viviendo por y para mi laburo al punto que me desconecte un poco bastante del mundo y la interacciones humanas.Necesito consejos para no cagarla por qué realmente me cae muy bien y últimamente no me la puedo sacar de la cabeza al punto en el que me encuentro a mi mismo suspirando como un tarado y no quiero que eso interfiera en mi laburo en fin perdón por el testamento xd

Hola a todos, sé que el remedio a lo que voy a contar es ir a terapia y estoy tratando de ponerme en ello, pero antes quería escuchar sus apreciaciones. Alerta de mucho texto y tal vez algunas cosas sean confusas.
Tengo 27 años, soy estudiante de doctorado y este año completo 6 años arrastrando los mismos problemas.
En el 2018 me enamoré de una chica, antes de conocer a esta chica, yo era un tipo muy determinado al punto de que si me proponía hacer algo siempre lo lograba, después de enamorarme de esta chica todo se fué a la mierd* pues me hizo nada la autoestima, yo no volví a hacer el mismo y me pasaron todas estas cosas que voy a comentar.
En el 2015 era adicto a la masturbación, un día decidí no masturbarme más y lo logré hasta el 2018, cuando después de conocer a esta chica, me volví a masturbar. Llevo desde el 2018 tratando de dejar de masturbarme y lo maximo que he logrado es durar dos meses sin hacerlo, pero luego, vienen esos pensamientos de autosaboteo que me incitan a hacerlo de nuevo, porque ya ni siquiera lo disfruto.

Mi físico se fué a la mierda. Era un tipo delgado y me engordé, todos estos años he bajado de peso y me he vuelto a engordar por comer en exceso. En este momento estoy grande porque voy al gym, pero también se me nota una exceso de grasa y me desagrado.
Estoy sumido en las deudas, gasto dinero que no tengo y compro cosas que no necesito para aparentar simplemente.
En realidad quiero retomar el control de mi mente, porque no quiero soñar egocéntrico ni narcisista (de pronto suene así), pero la vida me lo ha dado todo para yo tener un potencial increíble: soy inteligente, siento que me visto bien, tengo habilidades musicales, jugué futsal a nivel casi profesional, según las mujeres soy atractivo y me considero chistoso y carismático. Sin embargo mi mente no me deja desarrollar mi potencial.
También siento que estoy muy vacío, que vivo en función de que la gente me reconozca valioso y por eso hago las cosas que hago. Aclaró que no tengo novia, primero porque siempre arruino todo y segundo, porque mi situación económica no me lo permite en estos momentos.
Los leo, pueden decir todo lo que deseen que igual no me tomo las cosas a mal.

About a month ago, a man and his girlfriend/ partner came to a small business restaurant in Rochester Hills MI, and said some really racist things towards the guy who was working there (Asian guy), telling him to go back to China because he wouldn't accept a $100 bill due to not having enough change. The racist man in question is a white male, between 30-40 years old, bald, has a beard, about 6'2, fat, and has tattoos on his arm. His girlfriend is also white, similar age, and fat. They both smelled like weed, and they were driving a white suv. All the information I have from him is the name from a review he left as "tony cope". What would be the best way to find his social media? So can I find a picture of him and alert others?

Buenas, estoy en un dilema no se si grande pero si que me "aflige". El año que viene egreso de la secundaria y quiero estudiar veterinaria. Actualmente vivo con mi vieja y su pareja en una ciudad a 50km de Córdoba y mi viejo vive el extranjero (lo veo seguido y me banca bastante económicamente), el tema es que, a palabras de mi madre, "esta con un pie fuera de la casa (la de su pareja) y si quiero estudiar en CBA tengo que vivir sola porque ella capaz se vuelva a Corrientes con su flia" eso, sumado al hecho de no estar bien a nivel ventas con su negocio, hace que sea imposible que ella me banque económicamente para la facu y todo el peso recae en mi viejo. La cuota por si sola (a día de la fecha $450.000 mensual) si la puede bancar, sudando la gota gorda pero si puede, pero sumado a los gastos de alquiler, que por lo que leí son altos, y para comida y gastos extra se le vuelve mucho. Acá viene la pregunta, vale la pena optar por la de Río Cuarto? Que tal es la vida universitaria? Que tan fácil es llegar de CBA a Río Cuarto para poder visitar a mis amigos y mi pareja (el me banca así estudie en china)?
Me siento tonta preguntando esto, pero me gustaría opinión externa y saber un poco como es Río Cuarto, ya que la única vez que fui ahí fue a un partido.

Have made several posts in the past. I have been into series of relationship and none worked out. was either betrayed,cheated on and beaten up...The longest was about 3yrs with a guy ,he was caring at the beginning of our relationship untill i later discovered that my best friend is sleeping with him for real in which i caught them and all i got from my ex-bf was a dash of slaps and beat from him...I cried and planned not having any relatioonship again untill my grandma adviced me that its not the end of life,so i am giving this a trial and hoping to find someone with cute heart.
I was 5 years old when i lost my mother, and I lost my father on my 20th birthday 💔💔 that’s so sad and very heartbroken .. have never been happy I don’t think have experienced happiness 😪😭
I had a failed suicide attempt early this year, since then I've been trying my best to stay positive. I eat healthily, exercise regularly, sleep 8 hours a day, but I feel like I'm burning out. I don't know how long I can hold on.
used to think I would be happy person without marrying sômeone. I thought I should focus on my career first before trying to find someone... However, loneliness is sabotaging that belief. The older I get, the more lonely I become lol... And when I am lonely, my heart throbs, my body runs out of energy and I will end up lying there feeling empty…. everything seems boring.

Hello Michiganders!
My husband, myself, and our 4 year old daughter will be taking a quick little vacation to Grand Rapids next week Wed - Sat. We’ve never been and like visiting random midwestern towns on our vacays, so looks like GR is the winner this time!
We currently have 0 plans and need to figure out what we’re going to do! What recommendations do you have for family friendly things to do and eat? I’ve done some googling, but usually find Reddit recommendations a much better resource.
Our kiddo likes animals, playgrounds and parks, waterparks/swimming. Our hotel does have a pool/mini water park area, so not too concerned with checking that box.
We are open to many types of food - I can usually find her something to eat on pretty much any menu, but looking for places we won’t feel out of place with a 4 year old in tow. Kids menu available is a bonus!
We live in Milwaukee, so lots of “family friendly” breweries around us - anything similar in GR so maybe mom and dad can have a wee bit of fun too?

so in 2019 I was at a TØP show in grand rapids & i got pretty lucky with ticket placement & one of the roadies saw me kinda like air drumming along and then gave me a red and yellow pair of custom sticks, they have the best crew i've ever seen, also my dad said in his entire life of concerts twenty one pilots was unlike anything he had ever seen, so good job guys, dad approved!

buenas grupo, soy una chica vegetariana razón por la que nuca había ido a la carnicería de mi barrio, pero hoy mis papás me mandaron y valla sorpresa me lleve al entrar al local. había un chico como de mi edad alto y de cuerpo atlético, con manos grandes que me recibió con una sonrisa, no les mentiré amigas tenia una voz profunda y tranquilizadora yo como pendeja viéndolo mientras cortaba la carne, volví ayer y me puse a hablar con el un poco de lo que hace y si antes estaba boba cuando me empieza a hablar noto que es un chico inteligente( no como todos esos ñeros que hay) y sensible que la vida no le ha brindado las oportunidades, ¿cual creen que es el siguiente paso a dar?

And what flavors are your favorites? Please include the city. I really like Dublin Jerky Co. in Grandville just outside of Grand Rapids. I love their garlic and onion beef jerky, jalapeño beef jerky, and sweet heat beef jerky!

Just got off the Jade today and I was left with mixed emotions on the trip. In no order here are things I found good or bad:
Bad:
-Weird ship layout. I have been on both smaller and larger ships. I understand Jade isn’t a massive ship, but it felt very cramped and odd design. Most ships have a multi floor open atrium with a grand staircase. Jade has a staircase but it’s only 2 floors. The top floor of atrium is O’Sheehans. Just really odd walking paths like having stateroom hallways right off of O’Sheehans so people are constantly passing through the restaurant to get to their rooms. Also you have to walk through the dining area of the garden cafe to get to the pool. It’s literally single file line when they have the buffet section roped off.
-Odd dining. MDR breakfast was only open until 9AM every day. Last year on the Sky La Cucina would serve pizza for guests during lunch time including GF pizza, but not on Jade. My wife was unable to get Gluten Free pizza because the buffet repeatedly told us they couldn’t make it.
-Restaurant reservation is a joke. We were on the ship at 1230 and almost all of the reservations were already taken. This is the first thing we tried to do as we had experienced this same problem before on past cruise. We could not get into Cagneys on our anniversary as originally planned and the only time we could get was 845 on the last night. Thankful we were able to get something though.
-Outdoor setup has so much wasted potential. The upper deck could have some better use of space instead of an odd little shower thing and nothing else. There could be some nice outdoor furniture up there or even an adults only area with another hot tub?
Good:
-Amazing shows! They had some of the best shows I have ever seen on a cruise besides maybe the diving shows on Royal Caribbean. The Elements show they are doing is really cool.
-Gluten Free options and awareness is pretty decent. My wife has celiacs and they did a good job handling this. The lady in charge or food allergies would find us randomly through the day for her to pre order breakfast and dinner.
-Cagneys was great!! Not the best steakhouse I have ever eaten but it once again did not disappoint. Steak was very good for a cruise. It’s not a Capital Grille or anything but for a cruise it’s not too far off.
Next time I will avoid this ship. I have seen other people say they really liked it but to be it left a lot to be desired.

Took a day trip and wrote this around 9:30PM. Enjoy.
Everyone has those dreams they want to accomplish in a lifetime. The ones that seem so far fetched but still obtainable. In my case it has always been on my bucket list to travel every corner of Texas. I have been blessed in my 27 years of life to have gone as far north to see the Panhandle plains near Amarillo and as far east to see Huntsville surrounded by the piney woods. I’ve been able to see the Third Coast from H-Town through Corpitos, down to McAllen and Harlingen. I’ve drank on 6th Street in ATX, and have had countless nights I couldn’t remember in San Anto. I’ve seen a Cowboys game in Arlington while staying in Dallas with family, and I’ve floated down the rivers in San Marcos with friends. I know the backroads of South Texas between Uvalde and Laredo, like the back of my hand, and if I needed too, I could probably drive between El Paso and Fort Stockton blindfolded. In the past 4 years, I’ve spent the majority of the 100,000 miles I’ve driven, on Texas highways and county roads. Passing through small towns that people would never know existed, such as Dryden, Camp Wood, Orla, Goliad, and Dilley, where my son lives. There’s so many other cities and towns I could name which would take up the majority of this story and bore you but there is one area of Texas that I’ve always wanted to see with my own eyes and be able to experience it all. This place is actually a lot closer than many of the places I mentioned. It’s pretty much the next door neighbor to my hometown of El Paso.
On December 28, 2023, I was finally able to see it. Big Bend and Terlingua. As I was driving into the national park I stopped at the park’s entrance sign and took a typical picture in front of it like everyone does, but after, I turned back down the road, made a right and drove 28 miles to La Linda. I did this all without having a GPS or signal on my phone after I lost it passing Marathon which about an hour or so from the park entrance. I followed the old green highway signs down a road that you could tell was hardly used because of all the weeds and brush growing in the middle and side of the road. I was probably the only truck on the road with the expection of two trucks going the opposite direction that had passed me. I kept going until the road ended at a blocked off bridge that only a small car could drive over. The only time I had ever seen this place was through Google Maps when I’d sit there looking at random places that you’d think no one would ever go. I got off my truck and look around, it was quiet but the sound of the river is what got me. It was surreal to say that across that bridge was Mexico and the river I heard was the Rio Grande, which surprisingly had water in it and wasn’t dry like the way it is in El Paso. As I was looking at the graffiti on the bridge I noticed a part of it said “Chuco Town” which I though was weird because why would some slang from El Paso be tagged on some random bridge literally in the middle of nowhere. So I got curious and ended up making my way down underneath the bridge where I found this clear box with a small notebook in it. Several people had written in it with their names and when they had visited the bridge. It was like an Easter egg. I wrote my name in the book, put it back and went to go look for a way to get to the river but I couldn’t because of all the bushes and trees. I spent like a good hour looking around before getting back to my truck. I ended up driving about two hours to the Big Bend National Park Headquarters where I finally got signal on my phone. The drive into the Chisos Basin was beautiful. The color of the rocks and trees made it feel as if it was still the Fall season. The canyons were huge, the road curved through the mountains, the air hitting me through the windows was fresh. Seeing the amount of trees, for the mountain range being in the middle of a desert was crazy. Again, I only spent about an hour or so before driving through the park and into Terilingua. As I drove to Terlingua, the scenery changed drastically. It went from mountains covered in trees to something out of a Mad Max scene. It was nothing but desert with little plant life. I ended up stopping at a gas station where two the highways met. One would take me to Alpine and the other to the Terlingua ghost town. After fueling up, I drove through the ghost town to find a couple of restaurants open. I ended up eating some green enchiladas that were good but nothing compared to the ones found in El Paso. I continued to drive down the highway towards Presidio as the sun started to set. About half way to Presidio, I turned back around to head back. By this time it was 7pm. The sun had almost set completely. I pulled over to the side of the road so I could look at the sky. I had heard so many stories and seen so many pictures of the Terlingua night sky. I wanted to see if it was real. As I stepped out and looked up I saw more stars than I could ever imagine. Everything around me was pitch black, except the sky. There were hundreds of stars, they were brighter than ever. There were no clouds. I stayed looking at them for a good minute, actually I stayed looking up so long I ended up laying in the bed of my truck trying to take it all in. I ended having to go back into my truck because of the cold. Even with a thick hoodie and thermals underneath I couldn’t stay out any longer. I continued my drive back to the gas station where I had first put gas so I could type this out before my plan to head back into Big Bend. I only arrived about 8 hours ago, drove down to the La Linda bridge, drove through the national park, drove through the ghost town and saw a night sky many wont get to see in their lifetime but maybe on this drive back, I’ll be able to find the moon.
