I have an almost high-end PC at home, but I am usually outside. Therefore, I thought using a laptop would be more convenient and decided to get a MacBook Pro. I study design, and although I’ve never used Macs extensively except at the university, I know they are generally more popular in the design field. However, they are also much more expensive than regular laptops. I’ve found two MacBook models that I am considering, but I am unsure which one to buy. BTW i use programms such as: Davinci, after effect, photoshop, Illustrator and C4d(infrequent)

These two folders (Adobe and AdobeGCInfo) appear on my Mac in my shared folder frequently. I try deleting them and they always come back. I've looked through the Adobe settings and can't find any way to change this. Is there a way to move them permenantly to a different folder?
I am on a 2023 M2 MacBook and have the below Adobe apps installed:

Hello, hope someone will be able to help me.
I should preface this by explaining that I'm not hugely computer literate, but recently my friends and I have decided to start recording some video content and hope to edit using Adobe PP.
We bought the recording hardware (camera etc) and have recorded some 4K video. After doing so we've realised none of our personal computers are capable of editing said video, because we don't have anything close to a modern set up.
I came across the Mac Studio as it seems to be able to do what I need. I will be editing 4K videos of up to a few hours long, and would like to add the odd effect here or there/some layers/integrate graphics.
We as a group are 100 percent more on the hobby end of the scale than anything like pro/even competent with editing software.
If I picked up a refurbished M2 Max with 32GB memory and 512GB from Apple in the UK @ £1779 GBP, would this be a good deal/capable equipment for someone like me?
Or would getting a bit more memory (and a new Mac studio as opposed to refurbished) make more sense?
This will be a purchase for my home, and the rest of my family (wife + 2 kids) would use it as a home PC. Would the studio make sense for this too, or should I look elsewhere entirely?
Just to clarify, my friends and I are filming tabletop gaming/boardgame sessions, not onlyfans 👀. I read this before posting and thought it sounded otherwise!

I have a software I want to run , however it only works on Windows . I am aware that I can use parallel to solve my issues but I do have some questions

• if I was to run windows on parallel in the background (as I won’t be using windows directly , it’ll just be a software and hosts a server) will my performance on the Mac be affected ? Will my photoshop and Final Cut be affected by running windows
  
• will windows be on even if I put the MacBook to sleep ? Will the software/server still be running in the background

Hey everyone, I've been tasked to create a gear list for myself at work. I am a graphic designer at an advertising agency. I'm working across the adobe suite, often with massive files and sometimes video. What's the best set up in 2024? I'm thinking a Macbook M3 Pro or Max + Eizo screen so I can have the advantage of working away from the desk as well as having two screens when working in the studio. Another option is getting a Mac Studio + a larger wide screen, which is what some of my collegues are set up on currently. Dear All,
I have a CE-6000 in my office. But I'm using a MacBook Pro (OS 13.5) I just installed Cutting Master 5 (CM5) on my Mac. Connected the cutter with an USB cable.
So I've got 2 problems here.

On the Remote Panel Utility, I do see the CE-6000, connection type: USB. But If I click connect, it said "Could not connect to the cutter". I have tried different USB cable, still got no luck. Wondering if there is any security setting I have to click.

I'm using Adobe Illustrator 2024 (Version 28.5) After I install the CM5, I do not see the plugin under "File". Anyone has a solution for this?

Hey guys, so long story short: Been using my MacBook Pro since 2015, here are the specs:
MacBook Pro 13 inch Early 2015 Processor: 2.7GHz dual core intel i5 Memory: 8GB
Current problems: - Battery health 67% - heats up easily when using high processing apps - sometimes lags when using heavy apps
Question for you all: I don’t want to spend a ton load of money on the new MacBook Pro, Air is something I can consider. Do you guys think it is worth shifting from this Pro model to a newer Air, keeping all the task constant such as; video editing, running some games, using Photoshop etc will Air performance them better than my MacBook or is my old Pro still better ? I’ve got a bunch of paintings that are roughly 4x6 but not exactly. I’m trying to print them on 4x6 to put them on cards. FOR THE LIFE OF ME I cannot figure out how to fit the photos into 4x6 ratios. I want to stretch them to fit the dimension, I don’t want them to crop. I’ve downloaded lightroom on my mac, and photoshop on my ipad and it seems impossible!! I can get it to the ratio but then it always wants to crop it.

So I have waccom tablet and its good except for having to connect it to the laptop and also I'm finished college and will only have free access to Adobe programs for a limited time. I'm thinking of getting an ipad because procreate just seems easier in the long run but no idea where to start?
