Hanging a deer is never an easy task, but with the HME Game Hanging Gambrel, it becomes a breeze. This heavy-duty hanger is built to last with its 3/8' formed hanger that is fully welded and gusseted for added strength. The special hook design makes hanging the deer an effortless process, and its olive powder coat finish not only looks great, but also adds a layer of protection against rust.
One of the highlights of this product is its impressive 500 lbs. weight capacity. It truly is a heavy-duty tool, capable of handling even the largest game with ease. The 3/8 heavy-duty steel construction adds to its durability, ensuring it will stand the test of time.
However, there are a few aspects of the HME Game Hanging Gambrel that could use some improvement. Some users mentioned that it could be a couple of inches wider, which might make it more comfortable to use. Additionally, others noted that the hooks are upturned, which is a handy feature for keeping the carcass sides on the hook after sawing in half.
Overall, the HME Game Hanging Gambrel is a great choice for anyone looking for a reliable and sturdy deer hanger. Its unique features and high weight capacity make it a top pick among users, and the affordable price is an added bonus. With its great build quality and user-friendly design, this gambrel will surely become an essential tool for those who process their own game.

When I stumbled upon the Gold Metal Deer Hook, I immediately found an elegant solution for my home's decor with a touch of rustic charm. Its minimalistic design allowed it to easily blend in with my existing wall decor, while still making a statement with its sleek gold texture.
As someone who often finds themselves searching for my keys or wallet, the hook's convenient accessibility made it the perfect addition to my entryway. Despite its small size, the durability of the metal held up well over time, proving that less is truly more in terms of style and functionality.

🔗Wildlife-Inspired Wooden Wall Coat Rack

https://preview.redd.it/gp6gllshi44d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=78cdb59cdacb484c23c4c50711be339a7e7c55df
The Deer Antler Wall Coat Rack is a modern piece of wildlife-inspired decor that has the potential to add unique style and practicality to any living space. This handmade wooden wall rack features five hooks for hanging coats, hats, and keys with the maximum load weight of 20 pounds. The sturdy black wooden base is perfect for mounting on a wall without any damage, thanks to the 3M glue (double-sided tape) included at the back of each hook.
One of its most attractive features is its small packaging dimensions, making it easy to store when not in use and travel-friendly. However, this also means that it might take up more space than you initially anticipated when it arrives. Despite its dimensions, the product feels solid and well-constructed, but the wood color is only available in black, which may not work with all home decor styles.

🔗Easy Load & Swivel 360-degree Deer Hanger

https://preview.redd.it/1764iisii44d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=fbb7abe440a715d9a19e2b34f96454732cf7726e
I have used the Guide Gear Deluxe Deer Hoist Lift System for a few hunting seasons now, and I must say, it has significantly improved my experience in the field. The system allows me to access and hang my game without any hassle, making the entire process efficient and less time-consuming. The swivel system is a standout feature that makes it easy to position my game in the bed of my truck.
One notable advantage of using this deer hoist is its ability to handle up to 300 pounds with ease. It has a strong and sturdy construction, made of heavy-duty steel, which ensures longevity and durability. Furthermore, it's portable, which means I can easily disassemble the components when I need to transport or store it.
However, there are a couple of things I would like to mention as minor drawbacks. While the installation process is straightforward, the provided crank can be a bit challenging to use, particularly when dealing with the weightier game. Additionally, the hitch system doesn't always stay firmly in place, which might make the task a tad more complicated.
Despite these minor drawbacks, the Guide Gear Deluxe Deer Hoist Lift System has proven to be quite reliable. With a 4.4 rating and 420 reviews praising its capabilities, it's clear that the system has made a significant positive impact on the hunting experience for many users. Overall, I would highly recommend this hoist to anyone looking for an efficient, simple, and affordable way to handle their game in the field.

With these Isoto Deer Head-shaped Wall Hooks in my home, I've transformed my space into a stylish farmhouse. The vintage design adds a touch of rustic charm to any room. They're perfectly suited for entryways, hallways, foyers, bathrooms, mudrooms, or any place with limited storage.
Made of high-quality cast iron, these hooks are heavy-duty and can handle coats, bags, hats, or even towels and robes. The installation process is simple; you'll receive 4 mounting screws and expansion nails connectors.
Each hook measures around 11 by 7 by 16 cm and weighs about 365 grams. Purchase two of these charming deer head-shaped hooks, and get ready to elevate your living space with an elegantly rustic touch.

🔗Rustic Bronze Deer Christmas Wreath Hanger

Recently, I added a touch of rustic charm to my front door with the Northlight 15.25 in. Rustic Bronze Deer Christmas Wreath Hanger. The intricate deer with antlers design was an instant hit, adding a unique and elegant appearance to my door. The one-sided design made it easy to hang, with the large hook securing the hanger with ease. I loved the fact that it was not only a practical solution for hanging my wreath but also a statement piece of its own.
While I was initially excited about this wreath hanger, I did encounter a minor issue with the lack of hardware provided to secure the deer head into the wreath holder. This resulted in a wreath hanging that looked a little incomplete. On the positive side, the hanger was sturdy and simple to hang, and it looked fantastic on my door. In conclusion, with few improvements addressing the missing hardware, this Northlight wreath hanger can become a beautiful and functional addition to any front door.

🔗Pewter Finish Adjustable Deer Hanger Set

https://preview.redd.it/agh3er1ki44d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d17a49fe9b0335ee307fbfe0567e9f886ed8f4fd
Recently, I tried the Deer Sword Hanger and fell in love with it. The 2-inch closed length and adjustable feature allows me to display various items on my wall without taking up too much space.
I appreciate the pewter finish, which gives it an antique touch that adds charm to any décor. However, I noticed that the hanger might be a bit difficult to mount for some users due to its sturdiness. Overall, the Deer Sword Hanger is a great addition to any room, and its versatility makes it a must-have in my home.

🔗Stylish Deer Antler Wall Coat Rack for Key Holders and Accessories

https://preview.redd.it/w8bfn4iki44d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=86f09c337a413c24dba4929df56f6321a3fa142e
As a reviewer, I recently came across the KingLive Deer Antler Wall Coat Rack and decided to give it a try. Upon seeing this unique piece of décor in my home, my friends couldn't help but wonder how functional it was. To put it to the test, I decided to hang my winter jacket, a couple of scarves, and some kitchen utensils on its five metal hooks. Sure enough, the rack handled the weight with ease, living up to its high load capacity.
The stylish deer antler design not only adds a wild touch to my living space, but also serves as a conversation piece for my guests. Installing the KingLive Deer Antler Wall Coat Rack was a breeze, thanks to its adhesive backing, which securely fastened it to my wall without causing any damage.
While the KingLive Deer Antler Wall Coat Rack is durable and lightweight, I did find that the metal hooks could occasionally be tricky to maneuver when trying to hang heavier objects. However, this minor inconvenience is outweighed by the functional design and aesthetic appeal. All in all, I'm quite pleased with my experience using this coat rack.

🔗Deer Head Resin Wall Hook, Safari-Inspired Decor, Keyhole for Hanging

https://preview.redd.it/h4gh0dwki44d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0f8d33a65c9038ac5b5c8eeda14a993f56228ed5
I recently came across the HERNGEE Deer Head Single Wall Hook as a unique and practical addition to my space. Made from non-toxic resin, this eco-friendly hook adds a rustic charm to any room, making it perfect for decorating a children's room or adding a safari theme to any area.
The sturdy construction also makes it versatile, allowing me to use it as a coat hook, hat hook, or even a jewelry hook. Although it doesn't come with any hangings, the attractive deer head design still makes for a stunning wall art piece, even without any items hung on it.
The presence of a keyhole on the back allows for secure hanging, while the size of the hook (6.7"H x 7.5"W x 4"D) adds a touch of elegance to any room. The HERNGEE Deer Head Single Wall Hook is available in various animal designs, including rhino, horse, elephant, sheep, giraffe, and deer, offering a wide range of options to suit individual preferences and spaces. All in all, this eco-friendly and versatile hook has become a welcome addition to my home.

Recently, I gave the BestAlice 8 Pcs European Deer Skull Hanger a try and was pleasantly surprised. This hanger is perfect for adding a touch of elegance and style to any room, and it's incredibly easy to use.
What stood out to me was the antler-shaped design, which not only adds a decorative touch but also provides practical use by hanging clothes or hats. The heavy-duty steel construction was another highlight – it's reliable, stable, and can easily handle the weight without any deformation.
Assembling and removing the hanger was a breeze, with the included screws and expansion bolts making the process effortless. Plus, the variety of places it can be used, from bedrooms to offices, adds to its versatility.
Overall, I'm thoroughly impressed with the BestAlice Deer Skull Hanger. It's a quality product that adds both style and functionality to any space, and I can't wait to see how it enhances my room decor.

I recently gave these rustic deer head hooks a try, and I have to say, they've become a staple in my living space. The vintage finish adds a touch of flair to any room, and the antler design truly stands out. Mounting them on the wall was a breeze, thanks to the included screw.
They're versatile too - great for hanging keys, towels, or even coats. However, while the cast iron is durable, it's also quite heavy, so be mindful when placing them. Overall, a great addition to any room, but handle with care.

🔗Quality Deer Head Brass Gun Hanger

https://preview.redd.it/vb9dlu2mi44d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=387eb278f1aa310c746f48ed3c389c300cfa3638
I recently had the opportunity to try out the Deer Head Hanger Brass, and let me tell you, it's a game-changer for gun enthusiasts and collectors. The first thing that stood out to me was its solid brass construction, which not only adds a touch of elegance to my gun display but also provides durability.
One of the most convenient features of this hanger is its ability to securely hold guns with diameters up to 1.5 inches. The spring-loaded design effortlessly expands to accommodate various firearm sizes, making it a versatile addition to my collection.
However, I did notice that the Deer Head Hanger Brass might not be the best option for those looking for a minimalist décor piece. Its ornate design could potentially clash with simpler home interiors.
In conclusion, the Deer Head Hanger Brass is a high-quality, stylish, and functional addition to any gun enthusiast's collection. While it might not be the most understated option, its exceptional performance and construction make it a worthwhile purchase.

🔗Authentic 10 Point Buck Deer Wall Hanger

https://preview.redd.it/vpd577emi44d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2077aeb227dc17f38ff1ad259c20e6cb5c8bfa94
I recently had the chance to try out the Ebros 10 Point Buck Deer Bust Wall Hook Hanger. It's a true masterpiece for any hunter's game room or trophy space. Standing at a height of around 8.75 inches tall, it not only adds decorative appeal, but also doubles as a functional hook.
Crafted from designer composite resin, the wall hook is beautifully hand-painted and polished, although be prepared that the color tone might vary slightly. It's a great addition to mud rooms and entryways, and a perfect conversation starter when guests come over. However, I'd recommend anchoring the screw to hang it for a more secure fit.
All in all, the Ebros Bronzed 10 Point Buck Deer Bust Wall Hook Hanger truly captures the essence of a hunting trophy, making it an invaluable addition to your home décor.

🔗Deer Hoist and Carrier: 600 lb. Capacity, Hitch-Mounted for Efficient Hunting

https://preview.redd.it/q4u5pcrmi44d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=700907c52ee4b526a1de45d91c4f60ff1ffe7c01
As a hunter, I've always been on the lookout for gear that makes my life easier. The Kill Shot Hitch-Mounted Deer Hoist and Carrier is one of those gems. It's a two-in-one tool that saves both time and space in my truck bed. When it comes to dressing or skinning game, this hitch-mounted deer hoist and carrier is a game-changer. Not only does it allow me to string up the animal, but it also rotates flat to create a cradled transport for my game. I don't have to swap out the hoist for a carrier when I'm ready to bring my deer home - a major time saver.
The Kill Shot is made from durable, powder-coated steel and supports up to 600 lbs. It attaches to 2-inch hitch receivers, and rotating from hoist to carrier position is as simple as flipping a locking pin. The manual crank winch comes with a strap and snap hook, making it easy to use.
However, there are a couple of things I think could be improved. Firstly, the strap could be a couple of feet longer, making it more versatile. Secondly, the crank winch tends to get full of mud and dirt, which can be a bit of a hassle to clean out.
Overall, this is a great product that has definitely made a difference in my hunting experience. I would highly recommend the Kill Shot Hitch-Mounted Deer Hoist and Carrier to any fellow hunter looking to make their life a bit easier in the field.

2024.06.02 11:00 AdministrativeCow173 Manifestation Books

I've wanted to do this post for some time so that I can somehow keep track of what books I'm reading and maybe add new books to my wish list from your suggestions.
The first manifestation book I read was *The Secret* - Rhonda Byrne (I also saw the documentary) - it seems to me a very good basis to start your manifestation journey, but it is not enough. I liked it a lot, but I think it could have been more complex.
*The Manifest* (Roxie Nafousi) series is one of my favorites. I think this series of books is perfect exactly as it is. it is very complex and with many exercises that help you evolve. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who wants to learn as much as possible about this "art" of the manifestation.
I bought *The Secret to Teen Power* (Paul Harrington) because I want to have all the books in The Secret series. It is a very good book for teenagers, but being written in 2009 it is quite behind the way teenagers talk/behave. Instead, the examples in the book are very interesting and good for teenagers to better understand what the law of attraction means.
I bought *The keys to the secret* (Daniel Sevigny) because I thought it would be a good extension for The Secret, but I didn't like it. It mostly bored me. The only parts of the book that I liked are the ones with manifestation affirmations.
*Your Soulmate is Calling* (Russ Michael) is an interesting book, but outdated for our times. The book describes 11 stages of manifestation for anything that are really interesting.
Now I'm reading *Make Every Man Want You* (Marie Forleo) and to my surprise I really like it. The book is not about how to attract men into your life, but about how to attract whatever you want into your life. it is a small book, but well structured and with many interesting passages!
The books that I bought but haven't the chance to read are: Super Attractor by Gabrielle Bernstein, The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle, Lighter by Yung Pueblo.
The books that are in my Wishlist at the moment are: Power + The Hero + The Magic + The Supreme Secret all by Rhonda Byrne, Ask and Its given by Esther and Jerry Hicks, The way forward by Yung Pueblo.

2024.06.02 10:59 Ourimouri The more I know, the more I feel we need something better.

Well I'm in my mid 30s and grew up in a low income area of western Sydney that was rife with various crimes and shady people.
Up until my 19th year alive I believed the opinions and conclusions of those around me which were primarily anti-government mixed with gang and sovereign citizen mindsets.
But since my 20th I have slowly done my best to learn the reality of the world around me, namely everything australian before I get my toes into international affairs.
Among many topics that I have researched, one that sticks out the most regardless of one's level or understanding of education is politics.
I've noticed that despite being a work in progress towards an almost all inclusive government and democratic nation and being (correct me if I'm wrong) a 1st world country, we still have many holes and flaws in our system which I feel puts Australia down afew notches in the eyes of its people and of those from international shores.
At the moment some subtopics I've come across are abit much for me to understand and connect the dots with any kind of logic, maybe that's a intelligence cap on myself, I don't know.
But the more I learn and understand about the current state of Australia and how we are governed I feel that our kind of Democracy is no longer serving a purpose other than to keep some demographics in turmoil.
I have had a strange life and I am extremely grateful for what our current form of governance has granted me but again as I learn, my eyes and ears are opened to seeing how many there are out there who are totally oblivious to the realities and consequences that our freedoms grant us.
I sometimes think that maybe Democracy on paper was the bees knees when it was put forth but now after 100 or so years of Democracy and its freedoms and those who have fought hard for the freedoms we have, have lost its way as all I see now that our freedoms have enabled the everyday citizen to turn against the hand that feeds.
I struggle day to day trying to see and believe the best parts of our form of Democracy but all I see is the cons of our reality.
Do you all think that despite everything that our Democracy is worth the trouble it's kicking itself with or maybe there is a new form governance that we need to switch to, a more modern, more flexible and more tough when it comes to crimes and corruption of thought, presence and ideals.
Don't get me wrong I'm not saying we should roll out a strict stereotypical communist like way of governance and lock down everything and throw free will and freedoms out the window. I just don't see what we are doing is actually helping anymore.
Also if anyone who reads this knows of other threads that this post could belong, please let me know.

2024.06.02 10:58 incyweb The algebra of happiness

For many years, I took the train to work. A fellow commuter (I’ll call her Jane) endlessly complained about the poor punctuation of the service. Jane was intent on claiming as much compensation as she could from the train operator. To that end, every day she recorded on a spreadsheet how late her trains were. She was due to go on holiday and asked if I would keep a note of delays during the week. Reluctantly, I agreed. When Jane returned from holiday, she asked me for an update. However, I had totally forgotten to keep a record. Rather than admit my oversight, I told her the trains had run perfectly on time through the week. It had never happened before. Jane, as you can image, was delighted. She did not ask me again. I often think, if I’m too happy then Jane could sort me out.

Variables of happiness

Happiness is often described as a state characterised by positive emotions, satisfaction and a sense of purpose. I know that happiness cannot be strictly defined as a mathematical formula. However, as an aging Mathematician, perhaps you will humour me. As in algebra, where variables represent unknown quantities, happiness is influenced by factors that interact in complex ways. Making positive changes in any aspect can have ripple effects. The variables of happiness include: Purpose, Relationships, Health, Gratitude, Growth and Resilience.

Purpose

The purpose of life is to enjoy the passage of time. - Jimmy Carr
Having a sense of purpose gives us direction and motivation. Whether it's through work, hobbies or other activities, aligning actions with our values and passions brings a profound sense of fulfilment.
I love seeing people use things I build. A combination of commercial and IT skills enabled me to develop a tool that significantly improves the way my corporate colleagues work.

Relationships

I am self-motivated and very happy working alone. That said, without my family and friends much of my drive and sense of purpose would diminish. Supporting my children and seeing them develop into amazingly talented adults is a huge pleasure. Strong relationships are crucial to my happiness.

Health

A healthy person wants a thousand things, a sick person only wants one. - Confucius
At age 35, when commuting home by train, I was convinced I was having a heart attack. At Reading station I sought help and an ambulance was called. At the scene, paramedics used an ECG to check my heart. I was then taken to the local hospital for further tests. After an overnight stay, I was told my heart was healthy and I could go home. Subsequently, I went to my GP who told me the likely cause of the pain was related to some DIY I had undertaken. Since that event, I have not taken my health for granted. Daily walks help me stay happy and healthy.

Gratitude, growth and resilience

Listening to the BBC Podcast A History of Britain in Numbers made me realise how lucky I am to have been born in a safe country in the 1960s. Central heating, showers, computers, mobile phones, social media, Wifi, the internet and AI. All things that enrich my life daily that my grandparents could hardly imagine.
I struggled at school. Maths and woodwork were the only things I was good at. In my 30s, I discovered books and embraced the idea of life long learning. I am working my way up Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs. I am particularly enjoy learning new things and sharing my understanding with other, e.g. via this blog.
While incredibly fortunate, I have faced many setbacks, including redundancy and the death of my mum and a close friend. Pragmatic optimism and a supportive network helped me. I feel more resilient and grounded, having come through these challenges.

2024.06.02 10:58 DistinctDamage494 Stop bringing yourselves down. The guru said we can all become enlightened on this earth. You don’t need to be special.

Maybe it’s some of the fake baba (not the genuine ones), but a lot of you guys behave as if we will always be stuck in maya. And that it’s just our destiny to be “mortals”.
We are meant to be Khalsa, the purest of the pure. Tap into yourself and realise that gurbani is trying to tell us that we all have the ability to become enlightened.
We all have the ability to become brahmgianis, but few will realise this and actually try.
I am nowhere near that level, but gurbani tells us we are all capable of it so stop acting like you’re helpless. You don’t need to watch a video of some random baba to tell you this. Read gurbani and take control of your OWN journey.

2024.06.02 10:57 mightyrj Dodger Stadium Visit 06/01 - Son’s first game!

Dodger Stadium Visit 06/01 - Son’s first game!
TLDR: Son’s first game at Dodgers stadium is now a core memory and I’m thankful for all the great staff and other fan interactions!
My wife’s cousin invited us to go to the Dodger game tonight and had some amazing field level seats. Now my wife and I have gone to many games before and have even taken our son — but not since he was a baby in the carrier.
Today, my wife said my son and I should go as a neat little early Father’s Day celebration. So we did!
My son currently loves baseball, has finished his first season in a league and loves all things about it. Favorite movie to watch currently is Rookie of the Year — and well, hopefully you get the point. However, this would be his first real game so my wife and I were very anxious. Eating, patience, possible boredom, etc.
What happened today was freaking amazing! Our tix came with awesome parking and access to stadium level. I decided I’d take him early just to walk around the stadium and show him all the cool stuff that’s been added over the years. We get around the main gate of the stadium around 4:45-5:00 and being to wait.
Crowd was awesome, took some photos with the WS rings outside and went through security and checkpoint with no issues. Son and I got the awesome Glassnow bobble heads and were on our way in! We start making our way to the stadium club just to check it out since we had access. We stop by the fan services booth and he got his first dodgers game pin. Staff was super nice!
Carter making our way to the club, we just walk around and he’s clearly just soaking it all in. Everything baseball — you could see it in his eyes, it was really magical as a father to really see that joy and spark over something we both love. On our way out to leave the club (he didn’t wanna wait and possibly eat there) and older gentlemen saw Him and gave my son his bobble head! Score!
To continue to show my son more of the stadium we make our way to centerfield plaza. A gentleman’s tops me and asks if I’m interested in trading one of my Glassnow bobble heads. I ask what he has and he shuffles through his clear bags to show us what he has — a bunch of stuff from this season and what not but what caught my son’s eye was the replica Fernandomania WS ring. Instantly did a trade for it!
After more walking and what not my son and I made our way to our seats and stopped to get some souvenirs — a blue jersey and small wooden baseball bat for him — and get some grub: Dodger dog, tenders and fries, lemonade, and some soft serve.
Got to our seats in field level and took a bunch of photos and sat down and he went to town on the food and continued to soak in the game! He cheered, we screamed, taunted the Rockies “Doyle doesn’t rule!” And “Hey Kris, you beat pizza with a. Fork and knife!” And just had a blast. He even ended up on the screen in the 9th inning.
Overall, he got a bunch of fist bumps from staff and other fans and just had a blast. He wanted to get on the field and run — told him we can try another time when they allow for fans to do that.
I’m just thankful for this awesome experience and was happy that everything seemed to break out way tonight. Even coming back to win. The tantrum from waking him up after we got home to give him a bath was more than worth it. This wasn’t just a core memory for him, it was for me as a father as well.
If you made it this far, thanks for reading — thanks for indulging me. I’m just happy really that everything worked out the way that it did and my wife and I were fortunate enough to have him enjoy this night.
Always remember, Dodgerfam — Fuck the Giants. Fuck the Astros. Let’s go, Dodgers.

2024.06.02 10:56 GrammarYahtzee123 Explaining each and every one of Sukuna's techniques, tools, and tricks... so far

Hi. I'm the guy that made this similarly titled post about Gojo's techniques at the beginning of the Shinjuku Showdown arc. A year has passed since then, and now that it seems like Sukuna's barrel of surprises has hit its bottom I'd like to go over all of his abilities as a sorcerer in order to put to rest any debates regarding his strength.
One note before we begin, I will be using the TCB's names for techniques and other proper nouns. I do not support John Werry.
Miscellaneous Jujutsu
Innate Technique: Shrine
Domain Expansion: Malevolent Shrine
This is a big enough topic that I think it merits its own section
Borrowed Technique: Ten Shadows
In the interest of not going over every minute detail of a technique that only somewhat belongs to Sukuna, I will only make note here of changes he made to the technique in order to increase its effectiveness
Binding Vows
Since Sukuna now has a reputation as the Binding Vow merchant, we may as well discuss all of them in detail
I really think I covered everything this time, but feel free to provide any corrections in the comments otherwise! Hope this list helps :)

2024.06.02 10:56 NectarineOk1735 iPhone analytics

Hello, I was looking at my iPhone's analytics today and I noticed that there seemed to be a lot of "ExcUserFault_aspd." I read some more about it and I found out that it usually occurs when an app tries to do a prohibited thing (ie: access certain data, go into the kernel level, make changes to things it can't). I was just wondering if anybody else had a lot of them and if it was normal to have a bit of them in your analytics, or if that meant that I have a malicious app/software downloaded.
Thanks

2024.06.02 10:55 novum-rosea 27F - I am looking for more friends!

Hello, as mentioned - I am a 27F looking for more friends, as I don’t really have a lifestyle where I’m constantly outside actively hanging out with people (which I am fine with).
I work a remote job so my socialising level increasing would do me some good.
*You must be somewhere around my age, or older. I’m sorry as the more gen z you are, the more I’m lost in the conversation. *I am also not looking for a relationship.
Please give me a short introduction of yourself too, please.
About me:
Edit: I like cooking, so if you do too and want to talk recipes, let’s do it! *While I try to achieve great things, I am aware failures can happen 😅
—-
If you think we get along, great! If you’re think we’re similar, amazing - let’s get connected!

2024.06.02 10:54 LeaderExternal7795 How long did it take for a diagnosis ?

I started having serious symptoms about a month ago and just wondered for others how did you do about getting diagnosed. At this point it could be other things for me but my PCP says it is likely MS based on symptoms (2nd time for similar issues .. but first went away within a few days) but referred me to a neurologist.. . He also said it could be something much simpler and not to worry.
I’ve had a bunch of lab work and have ruled out diabetes and vitamin B12 deficiency. There’s other things with my blood work like high WBC count and high neutrophils but low lymphocytes. He’s concerned but not sure what it could be so referred me. I do have low vitamin D but not extremely low.
I started with mild numbness in my legs and spread up to my torso. Now I’ve started having severe pain in my lower legs and feet. I’ve fallen a couple of times because of this and walking has become somewhat painful. It gets worse at the end of the day and after showers or walking in the heat (Texas).
So I got a n appointment with a neurologist 2 weeks from now. I assume from there I will have to schedule an MRI and other tests. And even then I may have no absolute diagnosis for a bit from what I’ve read.
My husband wants me to go to the ER because of the severe pain in my legs and me falling and he’s afraid I’m going to injure myself worse. He won’t let me shower without him within earshot because that’s when my legs just seemed to turn to jelly the last time.
I used to work in ER as clerical and do not like the abuse of the ER and heard so many doctors and nurses complaining that I basically just refuse any ER treatment .. but he feels this is not abuse and they could find out what’s wrong faster… especially with my falls.
I’m just curious for any one else. Did anyone end up in the ER or just get referred out as I’m expecting. Or did you go through quite a bit of time and appointments to figure it all out ? I’m just confused as what to do and if waiting may cause damage or if that’s just how it works.

2024.06.02 10:54 Peaceful-Samurai My experience in Copenhagen

Hello everyone! So this is an update to my previous posts.
The first one.
Summary: I’m a 23 year old guy with autism and no friends. I’m travelling all the way from Sweden to Copenhagen to see Olivia. I have VIP but I’m going alone.
The second one.
Summary: After chatting with other Livies in this subreddit, I decided to challenge myself by talking to people in the queue and try to make friends! And this is how it went!
I went to the arena at 06:30. When I got there, I saw a girl and a guy who spoke Swedish. I walked up to them and started talking to them. And they were so nice and social! Let’s call them C and N.
I asked if I could join them and they said yes. We exchanged Instagrams and stood in the queue together. And then one of the staff told everyone that we were allowed to leave the queue to go eat food or use the bathroom. But we had to be back by 17:00.
So me, C and N went to the grocery store together to buy snacks. And then we went back to the queue and chilled there. The conversations went so well that it didn't even feel like I had autism.
Then I decided to challenge myself again. There was a girl who was the first person in the queue. I thought she looked friendly, so I approached her and started a conversation with her. She was actually Swedish as well! Funny how the first person in queue in Denmark was a Swedish person!
We talked for like 5 minutes and then we followed each other on Instagram. When it was 17:30 we finally got to enter the arena. Me, C and N managed to get the barricades, which was very nice.
The concert was amazing. When Olivia walked past us, we waved at her and she saw us and waved back! When I posted videos on my story after the concert, the most amazing thing happened. LivieHQ reposted one of my videos!
So to summarize everything:
I made new friends, I got to the barricades, Olivia noticed me, the concert was amazing and LiviesHQ reposted my story. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!
A few years ago I was too scared to talk to people and I couldn’t even ride public transport alone. Now I’m travelling to different countries and making new friends! Thanks for reading!

2024.06.02 10:52 ivamondal5 23.5 review (mine)

Hey guyzzz I know I am late but I wanted to give my honest review here . Some people said they liked my previous review about love senior that's why I wanted to share this one as well .
Main characters: 9/10 unlike love senior the main lead was fabulous, funny , lovey-dovey, cute and full of coyness . Both are so cute and experienced as well . I don't know from which series I saw them but there is a bl series maybe there they were a second lead. (Let me know the name ) Second lead : 8.5/10 I don't think my rating is low . Aylin is too funny and straightforward. It's so hard to hate her and also her gf . Freaking love them. Where is there individual series . I fu*king need itttt . Supportive characters : 10/10 p ton kaaaa ~~ 😅 he is sooo cool , funny . I am so glad that this series is light hearted without any Villianss or villian characters. And alpha is soooooo pretty . How can she don't have any partner here ??? She is the best sister 💕 and the girl with glasses, gay couple ... all are sooo good at acting. Sorry I can't cut points here . Forgive meeee GOD Theme : 8/10 such a aesthetic set up . It does felt like a big budget show unlike love senior and show me love . They spend money here dude and work their ass off . Sound set up: 11/10 how they use cat , dog sounds and then eyes blinking , then sun walks towards her gf after break-up... haha really enjoyed those . Their expressions all are completed and cute Plot : 6.5/10 well it's simple and kinda different from the B . I mean it's good as a teenager love story but sometimes it felt boring. I mean maybe I am not a big fan of teenager love story that's why felt like that. But that's cute ... wanted to see more episodes. Jealousy: 7/10 in the N sun was more hot dude ... the series show a small part of her Jealousy . I wanted to see her more Jealous . Overall a 8/10 read for me . Cinemagraphy is better , very aesthetic, cute and funny . A very good watch . I enjoyed them so much . I will miss them😢

It feels like a little radar that's been tucked away somewhere, unobtrusively tracking incoming power surges like a digital sentinel.
Then there's this incredible feature, the audible failure alarm. It's almost like having your own personal security guard. If the surge protector takes a hit, it emits a loud alarm. It's a real life saver because let's face it, I've been known to forget about the surge protector and just leave it in the background. But not anymore, because this alarm literally ensures it's on the top of my mind.
It's also interesting to note the NEMA 3R / 12 enclosure. It's specifically designed to meet the requirements of both indoor and outdoor applications, which is quite handy because it means the surge protector can work in any environment without any issues.
But of course, there's the downside. The manual disconnect switch is a useful feature, but it means that sometimes, when I need to temporarily unplug something, I have to remember to manually press the switch. It's like the surge protector is asking me for permission before I can unplug it, which can be a bit of a hassle at times. There's also the alarm contacts, which, while useful for monitoring, can also be a bit overwhelming at times. It's like being constantly tied to the surge protector, even when I don't necessarily need to be.
Overall though, the APC SurgeArrest surge suppressor is a reliable device that has helped me keep my appliances and electronics safe from the potential dangers of power surges and spikes. It's not perfect, but it sure is worth having on your side in this digital age where we heavily rely on electronics.

2024.06.02 10:49 ForwardOnThePath123 Beach Boys' music is disappointing. I just gave them a 2nd chance too and listened to their discography recently,

I've listened to about 10 full albums of the beach boys from the 1960's all the way to the late 70s. The early music is almost unbearable, it's bubblegum inane 50's/60's pop music. And as a contemporary comparison, Elvis or the Beatles did circles talent-wise around Wilson and the BB's. I heard that Brian Wilson was a genius, so I specifically was interested to know what music he created during the golden era of 68 to 72. I was also not impressed with Pet Sounds, never have been, nor am I impressed with Smiley Smile. Rarely, a few seconds of certain songs I see talent and quality in though.
Not having read any biographies, I still feel that Wilson was mired in tragedy, mental illness, psych meds, etc, that obstructed his growing, maturing and his prime from ever occurring, music-wise anyway. It reminds me of Syd Barrett, like Wilson they wrote like 2 or 3 unique decent songs, and then became legends, but like Wilson, Barrett's solo work and later albums were mostly very boring and are lacking. And didnt sell well either. If you listen to Barrett's solo albums there's practically zero passion in his voice, it's dry and monotone sounding as well.
I searched the discography for a gem, something that Wilson wrote that showcased his voice, or talent. But I didnt find any. The closest I've come is the song he re-recorded in 2021 with just a piano, "In my Room". But there's no singing either.
I had no clue Wilson went through so much misfortune/bad luck until very recently. So I definitely feel bad for him. I also think by the late 70's he had done so many unhealthy things, and illegal drugs and was forced to take so many psych meds, it damaged his brain and diminished his talent greatly & irrevocably.
I also took a listen at his two brothers solo works but was not impressed. But still if anyone has any recommendations, maybe a gem song I have overlooked of any of the Wilson brothers, feel free to recommend it.
I'm a big fan of John Lennon, Beatles, Elvis, AC/DC, Nirvana, Jeff Buckley, BJ Thomas, Alice in Chains, James Brown, classical music, etc,etc
Was Brian Wilson's career in music, caused by an obsessiveness about music on the aspergers level, and also being pressured by his father who wanted to make money off him? Rather than Wilson having a real passion or talent for writing music? Also, one can have a passion & talent for listening to music, but not a talent for actually writing it.

2024.06.02 10:46 Dad1903 Sunday Reflection (2nd June 2024)

Morning Hombres ✌️.
Horrendous - one o' many derrogatory words that could be used to describe y'days outing... proof positive, that Sweden isnae a country wi' quite the same level o' top heaviness as o'er places (for example - Scotland). Here - lesson learnt: Dad at least hath the solid excuse o' unfamiliarity to usher forth, whilst under heavy scrutiny 'n' ridicule.
It's a given that Dad's Desire includes a healthy need for positivity - 'n' for sure, that pish isnae happening wi' DWT at the moment. As mused there y'day but - outside o' that - shite be pretty fucking decent 👍. No a penny gain via DWT was successfully offset wi' a cheeky 7-Fold; an occurrence that's been satisfyingly lucrative in more recent times 🙌. No exactly life changing amounts naturally (heavy faves make up the numbers) - but in terms o' furnishing this fucking shitshow - it's been a delight 😊.
So pish is generally pretty relaxed in Dad World atm - plenty shite to look forward to in all walks currently. A glance forth at options next Sat'day, doesnae exactly reek o' obviousness alas... but here: maybes that's for the fucking best. Dad doesnae get to overthink pish - mostly it'll just being lured by a price, then a further study to clarify the probability. One thing is for fucking sure: a leg-up is required quicksmart. Whether that be via a set o' fixtures based in Bolivia or whate'er pish - so be it. Dad isnae fucking fussy 🤚
See yous next week - same DWT time, same DWT channel 😎

2024.06.02 10:45 AgentCast [Online] [5e] [LGBTQ+ only] [Fridays / Saturdays 6 pm - 10 pm CEST] [2/3 Players wanted] Call for the Many (Steven Universe Campaign) [OPEN]

I've been a bit hessitant to post this here simply because I'm really anxious about everything! But I thought, if 4 people liked this idea enough to play it with us, it can't be that bad.
So hello! My name's Cast (any pronouns), I'm going to be the DM of this campaign, alongside a coDm who will be helping me with some background stuff.
I've been a DM for about 4 years, and I've played (as a player) a couple of incomplete campaigns. I'm a bit anxious, but usually get more comfortable with people when I DM and we chat for a while.
We currently have 2 confirmed players who we'll introduce in session 0, and we're looking to make a party of 5 (though we may increase it to 6 if possible and needed)
I know what you're thinking, a Steven universe campaign in 2024?
And yeah! It's honestly a show that's meant a lot to a ton of us, with great unexplored lore that keeps me interested in writing about it and making plans with my players!
Dnd 5e official lore can get repetitive and boring at times, after you've read and played all the campaigns about bad drows and funny goblins. And don't get me wrong, I enjoy the classics, Curse of strahd is my favourite campaign ever, but what about trying something different that we've all grown loving? Why not make your cringe 2013 cringe gemsona real?
Some notes before I go into explaining what the campaign will be about:
* This is a queer only campaign for a simple reason, it's gonna have heavy queer themes that are mostly going to connect with queer folk! And coincidentally, all the already invited players and DMs ended up being trans, so we just feel it's fitting.
* Newbie players are more than welcome, though we do need someone who knows and is passionate about Steven Universe. If you join a game as a newbie for a game full of lore you don't like or understand, it's not gonna be enjoyable for you!
THE CAMPAIGN
The campaign is going to be a re telling / re skin version of the Call of the Netherdeep campaign. I will of course ask you to have not played nor dmed this campaign, and to not look anything up about it. It's more fun if you don't know what you're going to encounter! And I heavily improvise and homebrew a lot of stuff, so it won't even match up with it most of the time
So, what's it about?
Call for the Many is a setting based on the unexplored and alien world of Steven Universe. It takes place before the told story and we'll not be adding any of its main characters other than the necessary (Diamonds are a must, and some videogame cameos may occur)
Some of the canon aspects will be ignored or changed to fit a narrative that fits DnD 5e and allows more customization for the players.
The campaign starts in the planet of Ananke, in the Emerald Meadows. A festival is being celebrated by none other than Pink Diamond herself. Small groups of gems will be able to participate in the name of their diamond to earn points, and by the end of the festival, they'll encounter something, or rather someone, that will change the course of their actions for the rest of their adventures.
It is a 1-12 lvl campaign with aspects of war and dictatorship and its consequences, corruption and redemption, mental health depictions, underwater exploration and body horror.
It's still a dnd game, and it's still a Steven universe inspired game, so it'll have it's fair share of silly stuff of course!
*Also, please take note that anything I say here is not canon and may change when session 0 happens depending on the players triggers and preferences!
What will I be able to play?
Any gem, really!
We've separated gems into caste categories that you'll choose according to the type of gem you want to play. You may choose an existing gem, or make a new one that's not seen in the canon before.
We're also allowing pebbles, as well as humans and permafusions.
Here's a handy document made mostly by my lovely CoDM to explain the different choices you have.
[Link]
Classes will stay the same, it's still dnd 5e after all! All official classes and subclasses are permitted, as well as any expansion book other than Unearthed Arcana (UA)
What homebrew rules will you be using?
Not many, honestly! I'm not a dm who follows the rules strictly as stated, but one of the things I love most about dnd is powerscaling stuff, making it a challenge for my players, and that cannot happen without a strict set of rules.
However, I do have a couple changes; some personal, some relevant to the campaign
  1. Healing potions as a bonus action. Pretty common rule, most people use it.
  2. Inspiration points can be used to re roll any of your OR your companions checks, if both parties agree
  3. All backgrounds will be custom made, but we'll make em with you, so don't worry!
  4. Exhaustion. Not exactly a rule change, just a clarification. This campaign uses the exhaustion mechanic, and we will be using the dnd 5e rule. Sorry y'all, I know it sucks!
  5. The help action for skill checks require proficiency in said skill. If you don't have it, don't worry! You can still help! You'll need to roll said check, and if it's a 10 or up, they get advantage.
  6. Death saves are private. I just feel it makes them scarier!
  7. You tell me what you want to do, I'll tell you what to roll! Just makes it a bit easier for me to know what you're looking for.
  8. You're free to play any weird combo you wanna play, just know it'll raise their cr as well as yours. This doesn't mean I'm okay with players actively trying to break the game, I'm just okay with people enjoying min maxing as long as it doesn't cause a problem with any of the other players. If it causes them to get bored because you're doing all the killing, well need to change something! Everyone wants to play
When will it happen?
I can't tell you exactly when it'll start, but I can estimate that I'll have it semi prepared in a month or so, but I prefer doing session 0 and characters beforehand so I can tie the campaign around you and not the other way around!
We'll play either Fridays or Saturdays from 6 pm to 9/10 pm CEST.
We'll have a couple or sessions to level up your characters from 1 to 3 before the main story, but this will also be a good time to test if we're truly a match. You don't like how I dm, or a ruling Im strict about? You're not into the story? You suddenly realize youre not free anymore? It's okay! We'll be sad to let you go, but we all understand, and I wouldn't want to jump directly into a campaign without knowing if we're comfortable with eachother.
I'd love to have 4 sessions a month, but I cannot promise that since I have a job, and I do need to eat. The minimum will be 2 a month! Hopefully more!
What do I need to do to apply?
First of all, are you a match?
WE NEED:
* someone 17 or older. Most of us are (considered) adults, and I rather keep it consistent!
* Know about SU lore, and be interested in it
* Have the same passion for DnD as us. I know we all don't have the time to include this into our routine, but prepping and DMing take a lot of time, we need someone who won't bail on us every Friday because they can't make it.
* Queer!
* Newbies, forever DMs, experienced players, they're all allowed. But please note, join because you like dnd 5e too, not just the universe !
Are you a match? Then feel free to complete this survey!
[Link]
They're just a couple of quick questions to know you a bit better before I send you a message. I have an awful memory, so having a place where all the info is stored and named makes my job easier and more enjoyable!
It's also less anxiety inducing to answer to some pre written questions than to contact me directly, I imagine.
Any questions? Am I a bit dumb and have forgotten to answer some obvious thing I should've said?
Please feel free to ask in the comments, shoot me a DM or leave it somewhere in the attached form.

2024.06.02 10:44 gandulfrinna 24/Europe Looking for weebs and nerds

Hey! I'm looking for someone to watch TV shows/anime with. I haven't been able to find the person I'm looking for so I decided to make my own post. I'm gonna include some of my favourite shows so you get the idea of my taste and see if anything peaks your interest.
TV shows: the rookie, Lucifer, the big bang theory, manifest, the good place, izombie, the Orville, the queen's gambit.
Anime: twin star exorcists, noragami, food wars, demon slayer, Dr stone, that time I got reincarnated as a slime, overlord, assassination classroom, spy x family, I don't wanna get hurt so I maxed out my defense, your lie in april, solo leveling.
I'm also open to suggestions and watching some new TV shows and anime obviously haha. Other than watching things I also enjoy cooking, baking, singing, music and photography.
My preferred platform is discord and obviously voice chat is a given if we are going to watch things together. I would also like us to build a friendship together as well so write a short introduction of yourself. Please be over 18 and from Europe for timezone reasons.
Thanks for reading~
