2024.06.02 08:42 confused_dev3l My fault for opening an account in State Bank of India.

They are the most incompetent of the people I have came across. Like how do they have no clue about the international wire that was to be credited in my account like 20 days ago even though they sent me the Receipt of Remittance on the same day the wire was sent. And yet the money is nowhere to be seen, and they have no idea where is it!
So here is what happened till date:
I worked on a Freelance project for someone based in US. They sent me the international wire via some 3rd Party Service. I received an email from SBI mentioning the payment details and everything on the same day the wire was sent. It was my first time receiving any international payment, so I googled what does that email mean. It was an early notification from SBI that I will be receiving this amount from this company alongwith the Receipt of Remittance. People online said that after receiving this mail, it takes a day or two for the money to be credited. So I waited... for 10 whole days and yet there was no sign of money or any other message from the Bank.
So I contacted SBI customer care and they asked me to contact my home branch. Then I contacted my home branch, and God Damn the lady that picked up the phone. She thought either I'm being scammed or I am a scammer. She started saying "You wouldn't get the money, SBI doesn't send such emails. That must be from a scammer. He will ask you for more money, and you won't get any money". It took me 10 whole minutes to make her understand that the money I'm receiving is legit and No-one is scamming anyone here. She finally understood and asked me to contact another branch in the city that deals with these International payments. Now as I'm 2600kms away from home, I asked my father to visit that branch once. He went there with all the receipts and everything, and they said that they haven't received any such money for my account. They said that all the international transactions are handled by International Remittance Centre, Kolkata and I should contact them.
So my next step was to drop a mail there. It was after 18 days of receiving the Receipt of Remittance. I mailed them all the receipts, described my problem. International Remittance Centre (IRC) responded "With reference to the trail mail please be informed that the message has been cancelled due to non availibility of cover fund."
I asked them what does this mean, and they said "Our Nostro account was not funded.". Then I thought that there might be some problem from the sender's side, hence I contacted them that I am facing these issues, could you please verify the payment status from your side please.
Now here's the fun part, the service they used to send the payment is showing the payment status as complete since the next day they sent the money.
Now the thing is that money is neither with the sender nor with me, bank says they didn't receive the money, and the service they used claims that they sent the money. So overall no one has any idea that where the money is and its been 22 days since the money was sent.
And I still can't understand how did SBI sent me a Receipt of Remittance if they didn't receive the money.
Have any of you guys faced this problem in past while receiving any international payment, and what happened at the end?

2024.06.02 08:01 BigMan1844 Booked a Flight with Frontier, was billed, but never received the confirmation email

I went to check in to my flight tomorrow at 3pm and found that I have no confirmation email, though I did receive the email for 2 months free TSA Clear that they offered at checkout.
Looked at my card and I was billed the $350 for the flight. I think I booked as a guest but apparently that email has an account associated with it. I can't remember a password and when I hit reset password I don't receive anything.
Because I never received a confirmation number or find my frequent flyer number I'm unable to talk to anybody on the phone. I've been sitting the past 2 hours waiting to talk to someone through online chat.
Has anyone else dealt with something similar and if so how were you able to resolve it.

I'm not sure if I'm at the right subreddit, if I'm not, please refer me to the right one. When I try to sign in this publishing platform, the image below is the message I received. However, when I search through all my mails, I couldn't find a single one that is an email asking me to verify my account. I have done this multiple times and not a single verification email is being sent or was sent to me in my mail history. When trying to click on "Forgot my password", it also tells me to activate my profile before resetting password shown in image 2. However, once again, I have not found any email regarding that. The thing is, I might have indeed created an account months prior via ORCID, but I may not have verified my account (possibly because I did not receive the verification email). Does anyone know how to get out of this situation? Thanks in advance!

Firstly i know i am an idiot that I believed in the typical FedEx scam call, as I was not aware of this scam.
i have been an ICICI bank customer for past 9 years, never knew this relationship will turn into an absolute nightmare.After a very distressing call/video call from the people claiming to be FedEx customer support/Cybercrime/Narcotics Bureau(with fake ID proofs) on 24th April. I was coerced into transferring Funds worth 10L.With my ICICI bank account details, the fraudsters raised a Loan of INR 10 Lakh. The loan was sanctioned without my knowledge or consent. The bank officials did not contact me and verify it before processing the loan. I didn't receive a single phone call, or i haven't made any requests asking for loan. The loan got approved and transferred to my account (which I was completely unaware of as my funds were less than INR 10k) while i was in call with the scammers. I was threatened with money Laundering and Drugs case as he claimed that money is illicit, hence needs to be transferred immediately as i was unable to justify the source of the funds. By inducing fear as I was not aware about the funds where abouts i was coerced to transfer that amount to the SBI account . The scammers/Bank has then closed my banking service and debit card immediately after the transfer and I suspected something was wrong and went to bank and realized that personal Loan of 10L has been sanctioned. within 2 hours i raised a cybercomplaint and bank complaint. Submitted the Signed dispute form with the bank the same day. Next day morning FIR was raised with Cyberabad police.
Now here is where i might have neglected : I had shared the screen to show all my bank transactions that i dont have any money laundering happening in my account, He might have taken the otp from screen. He logged into my netbanking and disbursed the loan.
It is shocking that the bank processed such a huge personal loan without bothering to confirm and verify. This huge negligence as they are able to manage several marketing calls everyday but unable to verify. Upon verifying the loan documents sent to my email, I discovered they lack essential information such as my salary, employment, Signatures. This account was opened as a student account while i was studying in college, and the status of this account was automatically upgraded to Privileged account without my consent/request. I hardly have 20-30 transactions yearly on that account. How can banks be so negligent with the verification process as there are several cybercrimes happening everyday.After multiple communications with the bank, they are still insisting me to pay the EMIs. The lack of verification from the bank has raised a huge financial and mental burden. This is very alarming that bank is not willing to admit that their verification process is very weak and putting liability (of loan EMI) on customers while scammers are running free. The bank is still investigating the issue but not willing to hold the EMI.After connecting with the SBI bank i got in hold of the fraudsters account statement for that day and realized there are worth 1.2 CR fraud happened on that same account and 6 complaints has been raised.out of these transactions around 1 CR worth of transactions are from ICICI bank (Not sure if complete or partial was loan). I suspect the Account data is getting leaked from the Bank. All those 6 complaints are more that 10L worth of transactions.
Upon reviewing the loan documents they have incorrect information that i belong to PEP category, salary not mentioned, Employer not mentioned. RBI says that PEP category should be verified by higher officials of the bank.
Need legal advice if i stand a chance in not paying the EMIs, the penalties will build up. I have a FIR copy, all fraud transactions that happened in that account, The loan documents are not correct, My device was not used to digitally sign the documents, my location was different. Will bank take legal procedings with me if i dont repay.
Please please suggest, i am having a huge mental, emotional breakdown.

I received an email from a previous energy supplier saying I am due a refund. Great! However, it also states that it will be issued via a voucher that can be cashed at a post office. Not so great!
I am aware that refunds should be offered/issued by the same method used to pay, and I obviously did not pay my bill using vouchers, rather a monthly direct debit.
For me to get to a post office and home again would cost around £25 (I would need to get a taxi), where the refund being offered is £22.
I’m unsure what to do. Should I email them and provide my bank account number and sort code? Should I phone them to request it gets paid into my bank account? If they refuse to issue it to my bank account, how best should I proceed?
The email is as follows:
We are contacting you in relation to an account you previously held with Electric Ireland, which was closed on Sunday 20 September 2020. Following a recent internal review, we have identified a credit on your account. This should have been refunded to you when you closed your account.
We wish to refund the payment of £22.00. This will be issued in voucher form and can be redeemed at any Post Office.

I will try to make this as short as possible but when I was with Great Lakes I was 6 months ahead on my student loans. Everything transferred to Nelnet with no issues.
I continued paying normally and made sure I properly checked all the correct boxes so my due date would continue to stay 6 months ahead.
I paid for the month of May as normal & 3 days later I receive an email saying my payment is past due & I owe $130.
How do I go from being 6 months ahead, paying the current month, and then that same month owing an extra $130?
Is anyone else having issues like this? Wtf is going on? I'm obviously going to call on Monday but I'm terrified that they won't be able to resolve this or something is wrong.
Also are there any rumors of a class action suit? Because this is lowkey terrifying that they are over here just winging shit.

Mostly a rant, but also looking for any advice on how to deal with continuing to move forward. Unsure if I need to restate no contact or to just continue to stay silent and keep blocking. What has worked or not worked for you?
In December, I discovered my now ex had been hiding a drug addiction, I went lowish contact until Jan as I wanted to still be a support for him but the psychological and emotional manipulation during that time led to me officially ending things.
Went quietly no contact until the end of March when he suddenly showed up and attempted to enter my home. I firmly stated that I want no further contact with him. Blocked his number and on all socials.
At the start of May a friend had mentioned that she had been in contact with my ex James. I stated I was uncomfortable with that, she minimised and justified his behaviour, my intinal temporary step away from that friendship will now be permanent based on how that conversation unfolded. I'm disappointed but maintaining my peace is more important.
I felt sure that her contacting him, would be encouragement in his mind that he did nothing wrong and would increase the likelihood of contacting me again.
Two weeks later and I received an email from him that was all over the place asking for a recommendation for lawyer, I blocked him there.
Another two weeks later and I receive another email. This time from his "mom", who I've previously had no contact with, "asking on his behalf" for the name of the lawyer I used, blocked that account. Later that same day I see a notification someone has liked my google review of that lawyer, it felt creepy, maybe I'm paranoid, I've since deleted that review.
I attended the police station and explained the situation and they took down his details, but wouldn't offer any further assistance other than to just keep blocking him and file privately for a restraining order. I've found the court system here more traumatic than helpful and am not willing to put myself through that level of stress.
It's been over now for as long as the relationship existed. I'm tired. I just want to be left alone. I worry that he's going to show up at my workplace or my home unannounced.
I'm annoyed he continues to feel entitled to cross boundaries and try to involve me in whatever nonsense and chaos he's created for himself.

Yesterday, I had my graduation ceremony. After years of university with absolutely no help besides occasional rides to the bus stop and, very rarely, to campus, I finally graduated. Here's what my parents have done in the lead-up to graduation and the day after instead of supporting me.
My parents spent months leading up to the graduation freaking out about how I'll get a job, trying to control my hair and clothing (even implying I'm ugly when I choose my own hair and clothing), harassing me to hand out business cards to everyone I meet (especially if the situation would be an immense faux pas), grilling me on if my grades are good, lecturing me relentlessly about how I need to keep in contact with people in my class and it's soooo important and would I like to hear about how my dad got a job through nepotism for the eightieth time, asking me questions they already know the answers to (Yes, I'm still talking to my former classmates. Yes, I know that you worked in the Yukon when you were 18. Yes, I know about your friend who worked in a weather station. Yes, I know you had to move to find a job in the 1980s. Yes, I am aware that it is a possibility I might have to move too. Yes, I know that it's okay to invite people over to the house, you've only "informed" me about a hundred times. Yes, I know that school is important.) Every single thing that they "inform" me about is something I have very clearly expressed that I understand, and is just thinly veiled criticism. But my dad needs to lecture more than he needs oxygen.
Just constant nitpicking, criticism, and nothing I ever did was enough. I couldn't even focus on grades, because they would in their own words "put pressure on" me to do what they wanted. To handle their emotions for them. They're obsessed with the idea that I would have to move to a tiny town or work in a coal mine to find a job, because I'm more highly educated than my dad (who dropped out of university despite having all expenses paid by his father), and because my dad worked in the Yukon for two summers. He will never shut up about that, and he even goes so far as to hold us hostage with implicit threat of a massive tantrum to listen to him tell us the story again and again and again and to show us pictures of the place he worked on Google maps and point to everything he remembers. Sometimes he can go on for half an hour just repeating himself over and over.
Last summer, my parents even went and took action without my knowledge or approval to try and get a job set up for me cleaning up a mine contaminated with arsenic in the middle of nowhere, NWT. They tried to guilt and shame me into it ("What are your plans instead? Do you have another job lined up? Because you need to have a job. You can't sit around all day." This coming almost literally one week into summer vacation after my second-last year of university, when I could be using my energy to find interesting co-ops or explore hobbies or travel, instead dealing with their harassment and obsession with trying to literally trap me in a fucking arsenic mine.) They went on and on, lectured me over and over, implied that I would be embarrassing my grandfather if I didn't go, and so on. Eventually they said "You can go work or get a certification", and I picked the certification, but then they got grumpy anyways, and every week for the entire summer they would ask "Are you still working on the certification?". Of course, dipsh*t. I've told you fifty times how long the program lasts.
They don't care about what I'm learning in class, don't care about my hobbies or interests, only care about my friends as either a means to get backdoored into a job or a "nice French Canadian woman" to have babies with. They don't care if I'm struggling, and are completely unavailable to help in any regard. Any request for help would result in a guilt trip. Even if I actually couldn't eat dinner with the family for one day because I had a test, my father would get raw emotions and I'd have to walk on eggshells for a few days. The one time I mentioned I was having trouble studying, instead of shutting up and no longer ranting in the main floor where I could hear him or turning the TV off, he just dragged a table into the unfurnished boiler room (without asking me) and then told me that I would have to study there. I wasn't allowed to choose not to, because he'd already set it up. Ironically, my anger at him did let me study pretty well for the one day that I was forced there. He tried to keep me there long-term because he thought it was just such a great idea, but I managed to trick him into thinking I didn't need help studying anymore, so I got to study at a desk with a light on it and flooring that wasn't bare cement. Hooray for the most minor victory imaginable.
In the months leading up to graduation, did they care about how hard I was working at my capstone project and offer support? Absolutely not! Did they care about how well my sleep quality was, how many times the cat woke me up because they didn't play with her enough or give her enough attention? Nope! Did they care about how exhausting it was to deal with their constant lectures on the same topics, and to have to give them affirmations ("Yes, you're right, that's right, good job, nice, very tasty, good work, oh really?, neat, that's cool, how'd you make that?, mhm, I agree, you're being reasonable, they're being ridiculous, that's crazy") a hundred times a day? Not even in the slightest!
We spend more time talking about my dad's college friends than about anything I or my brother care about.
Then, leading up to graduation. all I've gotten are the most humiliating, infuriating, insulting messages and lectures from my parents. I get almost daily emails and texts saying "You need to get a job, it's important to look for a job" despite the fact I've told them I am looking probably fifty times. Too cowardly to say it to my face. I've been texted literal links to a Google search for "[degree name] jobs [city]" more than once. Both my parents treat me like I don't listen, when I do. They treat me like I'm lazy, when I've put myself through university with no help even after they lied to me about giving me financial aid and made me out to be a bully demanding more money when all I did was say "alright" and then pay for it myself. They must have sternly given me a talking to about how "I'm not going to pay for university, you know that, right? You need to pay. Don't expect us to pay. Because we paid for your first semesters, you know that, right? We've already paid for enough." thirty times, even after I'd made the final payment. They treat me like I'm stupid when I have expressed understanding before. They treat me like I'm a bully while I always bend over backwards for them, just because I don't play my role as "surrogate mommy but this time I get to tell her what to do" well enough.
It feels like they're almost raising me into a replacement or surrogate parent. Like my dad wants me to be his mom or dad, except this time he gets to be in charge. And my mom wants me to be her mom, except this time when she freaks out or has her deer in headlights look, she'll get someone to step up and take care of everything for her. I distinctly remember having to comfort her even for things she did to me, like tell me that a pair of comfortable shoes I picked out was good and she'd get them, and then immediately scream "take it out, take it out!" after it was scanned at the register. I could not have been older than twelve. And for my dad, he always rants and raves to me exactly like he does to his parents, except without including blame for them sending him to boarding school and instead having tons of old "life updates" like where he worked when he was 18 and what music he liked to listen to in high school, stuff like that. Then he expects me to praise him or be interested like his parents never were (he always tells me that his parents only cared about his car when they called).
So now I graduated. All they had to say in the days coming up to it was to grill me on the time I'd have to be at the venue and the time I was planning to leave the house to get there on time, with a distinct air of "you're too lazy to think of this in advance and too stupid to figure it out without a plan". Of course, I had to answer this question probably five times, because they don't care to ever listen to me. Before the ceremony I got text messages showing they were way more excited about themselves being here than anything relating to me, with multiple messages expressing how they arrived and it was exciting, then they asked me how the atmosphere was and their only reply was a one-word "nice" with no punctuation, because they don't care about me and only ask droll questions to segue into their next bit.
After grad, there was two generic sentences spoken with no emotion about how it was nice I graduated, and then they made a whole song and dance about the amazing gifts they got me. It was a degree frame I picked out myself that my dad presented as new and exciting (because he never pays attention to me, of course, when I told him I had picked one out and ordered it with my mother. Also she had another freakout about price and acted like I was holding her hostage by taking her unforced offer to buy me the second-cheapest degree frame on offer.). Then he presented the free gift small frame they got with it as though I should praise him for it, then a congratulation card that was alright I suppose if only because my brother drew a little creature in it that made me smile (my parents did not add anything special or meaningful to it). There was also a cap, which I genuinely enjoy and is nice, and a cheap ballpoint pen for some reason. He said there was more gifts at home, which okay, I don't care about gifts but I'd like him to at least be as excited for my graduation as he was for the picture frame. I didn't get any souvenirs from the bookstore because I knew if I got something he'd also gotten he'd freak out and accuse me of not listening to him or whatever, so I waited. When I got home my gift was Skittles. I don't know why I thought me might have gone to the bookstore and gotten me something special related to my actual interests. He doesn't care to know what those are anyways. I guess I hoped that at least this one day would be different.
Today, the day after graduation, all I've gotten from my parents is:
- Involved in a lecture and manufactured drama about my brother not using my car to drive to his job, even though my dad had the exact opposite position the entire rest of the year, because "what if you need to drive somewhere?", trying to manufacture a fight between my brother and me while also guilting and shaming me for not driving as a hobby like he does.
- A text message from my mother asking me if I'm awake because she wants more ammo to paint me as lazy. Nevermind that I barely slept the night before to make it to grad (of course neither of my parents would care enough about me to come with me as a family. I was literally the only person I saw who went on my own and without their family showing up early too, to support them. I walked past so many families in the parking lot knowing my mother couldn't be bothered to change out of her pajamas for me.) Nevermind I had a huge day that day, and that I was taking care of the cat's energy all that night too because attending my grad is apparently soooo draining my parents can't look after their own pet, and somehow it falls to me. All that matters is she woke up early and I didn't (after I handled all her inconveniences for her, funny how that works).
- Rapid knocks on my door because my dad is making bread as a hobby and apparently "needs" me there to help him with it, and then also "needed" me to stay and make cookies with him.
- A lecture about someone I never knew who apparently once threw something at another kid on my street when I was about 5, and about how he died and how his wife's hobby was really expensive or whatever and if I really don't remember him?
- I went to a showhome for fun and brought back the brochure. My dad jabbed his finger at the pictures on it to explain the house to me like I wasn't the one who literally brought the brochure back. Never asked if I cared or anything, just immediate launch into lecture and expecting me to stay and listen and praise him for being so smart or whatever.
- A lecture about D Day for some fucking reason. My dad is obsessed with history, and he doesn't have any friends to talk to (wonder why) so his lectures always fall on my ears.
- An email from my mother explaining in an extremely condescending way how important it is to have a cover letter when applying for jobs (just completely assuming I don't write them and also am too lazy or stupid to think about having them) including copy-pasted text from a sample cover letter that is no doubt one of the first results on google for "cover letter example"
- An angry email from my mother including a job she found on google
But, contrast that to my neighbors across the street. I was friends them in grade school, haven't seen them in like ten years, and just on my way past to the showhome we said hi and chatted in a genuinely nice conversation that wasn't a one-sided lecture like usual in my house. They could sense my emotions and didn't try to keep me there longer than I wanted to rant, they were genuinely interested in me and gave me space and interest to express myself, their mother even hugged me for graduating and it was the most genuine hug and congratulations I've ever received in person. Every other hug was my family members forcing me to hug them for their own sole benefit. I admit I cried a bit later on my walk thinking about it.
Compared to my parents, the parents of old friends care more about me, trust me more, believe in me more, have more hope for my future, are more interested in me, and understand me better. It's tremendously sad that all throughout my graduation ceremony I was worried about my parents becoming upset for some random reason and blowing up at me. I'm glad I at least focused and made myself feel some pride and joy in myself for graduating.
Even the random people I met who were also taking part in the open house were nicer and better conversationalists than my parents. A random elderly couple I have never seen in my life can have a better interaction with me than my own parents. The realtor was more chill and less perfectionistic than my parents by a mile. His million-dollar house sale was something he was less stressed and perfectionistic about and something he beat himself up over less than my parents are about my hairstyle when I'm going to class because "What if you meet someone in industry and they see you're not professional".
It's absurd.

We have been renting from first key for 2 years now and we will more than likely sign for our third year as we love our home and don’t really have time to move. For the most part it has been a good experience until recently.
We came home one evening to find a hole in our window and the window is completely busted. We put duck tape over the whole to prevent further damage and immediately filed for a work order. After a week of waiting, I get an email stating that our service request has been canceled due to being unresponsive, but neither myself or my husband had a missed phone call from them. So I called the number on the email immediately to explain that we received no notification regarding the work order and the person on the phone said it wasn’t a problem and rescheduled it, for Memorial Day. Not a problem as I would be home that day as I didn’t have to work.
I received a second phone call from the maintenance crew stating they could be there on Saturday, said that was fine and I would make sure I was home during the scheduled time frame. At 11:30 the day of repair the maintenance number called stating that he wouldn’t be able to make it out due to an emergency but he would make a note of it in the system and I should be hearing back to reschedule. Not a problem, as the hole was covered.
A week later I received another phone call while I was at work from someone I haven’t spoken to regarding the window. I explain in detail what the damage was and how neither of us knew what happened as the window wasn’t damaged when we left for work that morning. She then proceeded to tell me that we were responsible for the damage as it wasn’t an act of god and suggested that we call our renters insurance company. Since I work as a licensed insurance agent, I explained that wasn’t how renters insurance works. Renters insurance is to cover my personal property and some liability coverage in the event that someone is injured on our property. It does not cover anything for the home. I also stated that the whole point of renting is so you are not responsible for these kinds of things, the rental company is.
She then goes on to say that since there is no known cause for the damage that it automatically falls on us the renters as it is considered damages and we had the option to call some one ourselves or pay the service fee and have them fix it along with paying for the repairs. At this point I was irritated as the lease does not clearly state who is responsible for unknown damages to the property. She then asked me to consider how much the expense would be for them if they just went around fixing windows.
This is the second window that has been broken now, the first one was from the maintenance guy who cracked a window our first month in the home trying to fix the crank (the house was built in the late 70s with the same windows) who said he would be back to fix it and never came back. Sorry for the long rant but long story short has anyone else had any issues of this nature? I get that if we broke it we need to replace or fix it, but that isn’t the case here. Just looking for some advice on how to move forward.

On May 27th the union held an open house and invited all REM employees and many union members to join and discuss what happened, what's next and to answer questions first hand. These are some of the topics discussed.

The Decision and What to Do Next

REM had enough signed cards to auto certify for unionization. The employees of REM were denied their right to representation because the LRB accepted REM's position that supervisors and car cab workers should be part of the collective agreement. The LRB denied that shop workers, office workers, drivers etc. should be part of the agreement.
This technicality voided the application. Unfortunately cards signed and votes taken could not be counted because of this, even if they pulled out supervisor and car cab votes and added them to mechanics and apprentices.
REM supervisors testified that they work in the field upwards of 4 days a week on the tools. We are all aware this is obviously untrue.
The union lawyer stated that he fully believes this decision to throw out the application would be overturned in court, however that would be a lengthy process (months to years). Local 82 and their legal representation believe that applying again with the new terms the LRB has set out for their application is the simplest and fastest way to proceed.
So the plan is simple. Local 82 will apply again with the terms the LRB has supplied. We know we had enough votes last time, and know we can do it again. We just need you to sign a card again and discuss with your co-workers what we can accomplish together.
If you believe that you have a right to better wages, benefits, pension, safety and more, the answer is simple. Stand together with your co-workers and work together to achieve something great.
United we bargain. Divided we beg.

Former Richmond Employees

Former Richmond/current union members spoke up, each and every one explaining how they cannot recommend joining the union enough.
Some of their statements were...
"I'm much happier"
"I wish I could have gone sooner."
"I went over as a first year apprentice 6 years ago and I have never made less than 150k a year here"
"The grass is definitely greener here."
"It was one of the best decisions I've ever made."
"The union feels more like a family than Richmond ever did."
These are people many of you have worked with before. They are respectable former REM employees.

Negotiations

The union presidents talked about giving REM 6 months to negotiate. During this period, all contracts must first be voted on BY US before being ratified and before paying dues. The decision whether to accept an offer from REM will solely rest on us.
If we do not come to an agreement and we do not believe REM is bargaining fairly, we will likely take a strike vote. During a strike, all members' jobs are protected by the Anti-Scab Legislation and REM can not fire us and replace us.
A union's real power resides in its ability to shut down the means of production. We are not contractually bound to the contracts; REM is.
Local 82 has shown great interest in striking with us if it came to that. Their members would still need to vote but everyone present at the meeting was in favor.
The question was raised if REM would fall under the same collective agreement that L82 has set out for other companies already.
The answer is that nobody can say anything for sure until bargaining begins, however union reps stated that their plan is to present their current agreement within 10 days of certification.
There is a large difference in the company composition of a large multinational company such as KONE compared to REM. It is quite possible that the first negotiation will be under a separate agreement with the aim for us to be bridged and caught up in time for the next negotiation (current contract expires Oct 2027).
However, the last time the IUEC certified a company as large as Richmond was Fujitec and they signed the current agreement at the time.
Union reps followed this with a statement explaining how their past bargaining is proof that they do right by their members. Each time they complete a bargaining agreement the increases they earn for their members are larger and larger, proof of this being in their last incredible agreement.

Supervisors in the Collective

Since supervisors have made the choice to testify that they are active mechanics working multiple days a week in the field, they will be part of the collective agreement. Should there be a strike, they must not cross the picket line. If they chose to do so would result in fines and possible expulsion from the collective. This would bar them from working for any IUEC union affiliated company in North America.

MIT's in Mechanic Positions

MIT's in service/maintenance or other departments that have their own routes and are not certified mechanics WILL be protected by the union in the current roles until they have achieved their ticket. You will NOT be removed from your position or have any other negative effects because you do not hold a ticket. You will not be replaced by a ticketed mechanic and your position is yours to keep, as it should be. You will be flagged in the union system until you complete your education and receive your TSBC accreditation.

Let me preface this with the past 5 years summarized.
My wife used to smoke when I met her. She smoked when we were married, and for many years after. Due to health concerns, she decided to quit, and did so sometime around 2013.
We used to go away on holidays together as a family. In 2016 I took our son (13 at the time) on a road trip across a lot of the South and Western US States (CO, TX, UT, AZ, NM) while she went to another city to spend time with her daughter from another relationship. Since then, we did not go on holidays or take vacation together at the same time.
In 2017 I went away with our son, and again in 2018 and 2019. Sometime around 2019 I noticed my wife was smoking again, but I decided not to bother her about it, just let it be. I didn't say anything. She would leave to go to the store to smoke, because who goes to the store 2x every day?
She got into the car cruise nights and she would take her daughter along with her. Our son would ask to go, and she would often say no, she had already promised her daughter. Sometimes she would let him go.
She never wanted me to go with her, and in fact said so with excuses all the time ("you don't like sitting in my car, you don't like being around other people a lot, you should have fun with our son playing games instead" you name it). In the fall of 2022, our son told her that we knew she was smoking, when I wasn't home. So at first the nightly shopping trips ceased, as she began smoking outside on the street.
In 2023, for our anniversary, I got her a present and sent her a nice text. She thanked me by text, and didn't do or say anything in return. For my birthday, she didn't get me a card, or a gift. For father's day, same thing, no card, nothing. I had asked her to go away with me on a trip, and she said no. So I took our son on another trip. We had to come home 4 days early because we got sick, and she was upset we arrived early. She had taken the same period off for her holidays without telling me, and was mad that she was off work when I would also be off work and at home.
For her birthday, she didn't want me to do anything or even take her out, and instead went out by herself on a cruise night. At least she said she was going by herself, I didn't verify.
I should mention that during our whole relationship, I have always shared my phone location with her, but she has never shared hers with me, even though I've asked. She said she doesn't trust location services on the phone and so didn't want to use it. Okay, fine. She never would let me see her phone, and she had a passcode she never wanted me to see. Also, we had ceased having any sex sometime around 2018, and stopped kissing each other shortly after.
In the fall of 2023, she wanted to go to a cruise happening in another city, one state over. I said I'd like to go, and it seemed like she wasn't pleased but also not showing it. I could just have been reading that wrong. We went, and checked in to our hotel for the night, and she sat on the couch beside me on her phone for hours. I tried talking and she didn't want to engage. I tried rubbing her back, and touching her and it was like touching a dead person, with no response. When I finally said that I thought maybe we could make love, she said she was too tired for that.
The next day, I told her I wanted to make love to her, and she said she would have to shower first, and when she came out of the shower, we made love. But it was different than it used to be.
She started going out again to the store more frequently, and then it became just going for a drive, or going for a walk after a drive, or just sitting in her car in some random parking lot for 6 hours listening to music (so she said).
Just before Christmas, she went to the car club dinner, and said I wasn't invited so I couldn't go along.
On New Year's Eve, she told me after supper, at 7pm, that she was going to a party that her friend was hosting, and that she wanted to go alone. I was quite upset over this, but didn't say anything. I just let her go, while I sat at home and cried.
The next week, she asked me to book a hotel room for her for middle of January, as she was taking a week of holidays. I was upset, wondering where this was leading, but I did it for her.
After her first night, I texted her and asked how she slept, and she said she didn't sleep well, was up at midnight because car alarms were going off in the parking lot, and she didn't get back to sleep until after 2:30am.
Our anniversary came, and I got her a gift, and sent her a text. She simply said "thank you for the gift" but nothing else. It seemed off, but not like this wasn't a trend. It was just, becoming more distant and off.
From the hotel stay, through until the end of February, she would be out for at least 4-6 hours every single night and the entire weekends. It was drinking with the girls from work (something she never did before) to coffee with a certain friend (we'll call her Nettie), out for a drive, etc. In the beginning of February, our son needed to go to the hospital, and he had texted her to take him, because I had already taken him 4 times in the prior 2 months. She showed up at home to pick him up, and on the way to the hospital, she was texting someone, with her phone held at an angle so he couldn't see. Several times they almost hit another car or went into the ditch.
Finally he shouted at her "who is so important that you're texting, that you're willing to kill us over?" and she angrily just slammed her phone down and said nothing.
On February 29, in the afternoon, she sent me an email that she was separating from me. I didn't see it until 7pm. She came home from work at around 6, and was really weird. I guess she didn't know I hadn't seen it yet. We decided on supper, and she went out to get the food and bring it home. While she was out, I saw the email.
She never gave me any reason why. Here was her email:
I have been unhappy for such a long time, and nothing seems to help us improve our relationship. I am sorry to say this, but this relationship isn’t bringing out the best in either of us so I’ve decided that I want to separate with the intention of reconciliation.
I feel like I don’t have any space in our house. I mentioned using the 2nd bedroom for my painting and you said right away that you wanted to use it. I stopped even trying to do this.
I would like for you to take care of yourself and get some answers regarding your health and wellness.
Some of the steps I am taking include:
I am currently looking for a place of my own, so we both have space to work on our own stuff. I need time to reflect on myself and discover who I am again. I’m looking for peace within myself and feel I need to do this on my own.
I have opened my own account and my next pay check will be deposited into this account.
I am seeing a counselor.
In restarting our journey, I support your promise to clean up the basement and to sell the stuff. I am also hurting at this time, we both need to heal so we can continue.
I think it's best if we communicate through email for now. I will respond within 24 hours.
After this, she began asking me questions over several days about things, accounts, etc., and I reasoned she was seeing a lawyer. So I made an appointment and saw a lawyer, and we drafted a letter to send to her. In the meantime, before receiving that letter, she filed for divorce, with no possibility of reconciliation, and she filed to take all of my assets, and for a restraining and protection order. She filed to take the house, and have exclusive access to it, etc.
I began trying to figure out where this was all coming from. I started looking at the phone bills, something I had never done before. I reversed phone numbers she had called, and then saw that during the time she was at the hotel, she had zero phone calls, except for one. She received a call at 11:30pm on the first night she was staying there, The same night she mentioned she was awakened by car alarms when I asked how her night was.
Why did she get a phone call at 11:30pm, who was it? Why no other calls for the rest of her stay? People she would talk to knew she was away? She would typically have at least 3-5 calls minimum every single day on her phone.
Unfortunately, incoming calls don't have a call number listed, just that it is incoming. The call lasted for 2 minutes.
While she was 'separated' from me, but still living in the same home, she would not talk to me. At all. One evening, a few weeks after the divorce filing, she was texting someone, and at 9pm she went to bed. Half hour later she got up, and went out the door, and was gone for 2 hours, returning at 11:30pm, going straight to bed. Something she had never done before.
I was blindsided and struck by this separation, and then divorce. I mean, our marriage wasn't great for years, no sex, no intimacy, no "love", but I had figured she just needed some space. I gave her space.
One thing that happened 3 weeks before she separated from me, our son came to me, and told me that his mom was acting really weird for the past while. He said he had some ideas, but he didn't want to tell me because he didn't want to be wrong. I told him I already had ideas, and I had already talked to friends who gave me their opinion, and just spit it out. He said he thought she was cheating on me, and that it was possibly someone from the car cruise group. He told me about the texting incident while driving to the hospital.
Additionally, he told me the first time she took him to the car group, she told him MANY times "you don't have to worry about me, all of these people are married". He said at one point "why are you telling me that?" and she said "well, I didn't want you to think I'm seeing other people behind your dad's back".
On top of this, I had started checking up on her when she would say where she was going. And she wasn't going there. She said she went for coffee at a coworker's house, and when I went for a drive while she was there, I found she wasn't there. She also had texted me at least 8 times that she was going to see Nettie for coffee. Which is funny because I ran into Nettie a few weeks ago, and Nettie hadn't seen her since last summer, when my wife betrayed her trust somehow and walked out on their friendship.
Was my wife cheating on me? She refuses to talk to me. She is telling people lies, like saying that I came to the hotel and checked up on her while she was there, telling the front desk people to "call him if anyone goes to his wife's room". She has told people I know that I had accused her of cheating on me, and I wasn't trusting her, etc.
Is she just done with our marriage? I think it all fell apart 5 years ago, but I'm not entirely sure. The way she was with me, and at home was nearly the same until the day she gave me a separation email, as it was for the prior 5 years. Was she faking it for 5 years?
In the meantime, she has turned her daughter away from me. She and our son went out for the afternoon a couple of months ago, and she told him "isn't it so shitty what dad did to mom?". I didn't do anything... I don't get it.
If she comes crawling back to me, I will not get back together with her. She has proven now that she is 100% untrustworthy. And without trust, there can be no relationship.

Sorry this a bit of read, but I thought including the details might help someone else that could be caught in this crazy situation.
Brief background – we are currently AT&T customers and have 5 lines. The cost is getting crazy high (over $250/month) and the signal coverage is exceptionally horrible at both our main residence in NW Indiana and our cabin in norther Wisconsin.
We decide it is time to try a different service for a month and as we are heading up north on a family vacation in June and well see how the coverage and data speeds are. After some brief researching it looks like Visible is the one to try. I pickup an older unlocked Samsung S20 FE from Amazon so that we can do side by side comparisons. I confirm the IMEI works on the visible system and decide to just try the basic plan for 30 days.
5/24/2024 8:05pm – Placed the order (ending in 4668) for the basic plan. 10 minutes later I quickly realize, after I got the order confirmation, that I screwed up and didn’t use the referral code but put in the promotional code. ARGH!! I quickly contacted Visible support via chat and was connected to an agent in less than a minute. I was surprised how helpful the agent was as they immediately cancelled the order and told me that once I got an email confirming the cancellation I could go ahead and place the order again with the correct referral code. I was blown away by this level of quick support! (Unfortunately, that would be my LAST time of any positive feeling!)
5/24/2024 9:22pm – Received the cancellation email showing order ending in 4668 has been successfully cancelled.
5/24/2024 9:42pm – Place a new order (ending in 6667 – maybe the 666 should have been a sign?) with the correct referral code and all looks good. We receive an immediate confirmation email on the order ending in 6667.
5/25/2024 9:22am – Received a shipping confirmation email for order ending in 6667. WOW! At this point we are quite impressed with how well everything is going.
5/29/2024 1:20pm – In the mailbox is a UNSEALED, with the end completely open cardboard envelope with a new visible sim card and sim removal tool. However, there is NO other information or paperwork. Nothing! Just the sim card. Unfortunately had to work for the rest of the day so decided we would active the following day.
5/30/2024 – 12:20pm – Downloaded/installed the Visible app, installed the sim and proceeded to active it. Once activated I got a welcome email showing my phone number, but the phone would NOT connect to the Visible carrier network. Frustrated, I followed all the steps provided by the automated chatbot, but nothing worked, so I was connected with an agent. This is where everything started going off the rails! The agent told me that the sim I received was from the CANCELLED order! Please note the ONLY shipping email we received was for the 2nd order ending in 6667. Since that was the only sim that was shipped, why wouldn’t we assume it was correct and try to activate it. Additionally, please remember that this was NO paperwork at all included with the sim. The agent tells us not to worry as the correct sim would be there that afternoon or the following day. However, when we login to our account and look at orders, it is showing that it will ship soon? Trusting the agent, we have patience. Nothing more comes that day.
5/31/2024 – 1:15pm – Mail gets delivered and NO sim! Now I am starting to get frustrated as we are scheduled to leave on the family vacation Saturday morning at 6am. Jump on the support chat and get connected to an agent. The agent takes quite a long time reviewing the situation and confirms that the 2nd order, the order that was NOT cancelled, never shipped. I explain that we received the other sim and asked if they could just provision that one. The agent asked for the number, we sent it, but the agent said they could not reactivate a cancelled sim?? I kept pressing for how we can get this fixed, and the agent shocked me by asking if he could call me! He called me on my home phone line and explained that he was working to get everything corrected. I explained that we were scheduled to leave on our family vacation the following morning at 6am and we would be up north for the whole month of June. The agent asked if we can get mail at our cabin, but I explained that we don’t have US Mail service, but we can get UPS or FedEx deliveries. He said that they cannot ship with anything but USPS! He put me on hold and came back with a shocking solution. He would guarantee that he would ship the sim, via USPS, and have it to our Indiana address by Saturday using USPS. I told him that if was 100% certain of that next day delivery, we would postpone our departure by a day in order to get the delivery. He assured me and told me I would get a confirmation email shortly.
5/31/2024 – 5:11PM – Receive a shipping confirmation email, but when we click on the tracking link, it shows it is being shipped by FedEx and won’t be delivered until MONDAY!! What??!! Try to log in to get to chat, but the system has activated 2FA and wants to send a security code to the phone number that is NOT yet activated since I don’t have a sim!! Using the Visible app on my tablet, I am able to get to chat and get connected with an agent. This agent is FAR less helpful and basically tells me there is nothing they can do since I activated the wrong sim!!?? I explained again that I only tried to activate what they sent me. I requested that they change the activation status to “Not Activated” but the agent said they are not able to do this. The agent suggested that I can wait 48 hours post activation and then make a request to cancel everything and ask for a full refund. The agent said the earliest that request could be don’t was Saturday afternoon. Now we are EXTREMELY frustrated and just want OUT of this mess. The agent did provide a case number for the next agent to reference so we didn’t have start from scratch explaining everything.
6/1/2024 – 3:26pm – Was able to login by letting the system fail at sending the code to the non-active phone, and then using “another way” and having it send the code to my email. Started chat and got connected to an agent. Provided the case number and explained that we have two options: 1. Cancel everything and provide us a full refund or 2. Use FedEx or UPS to send us the correct sim to our cabin in northern Wisconsin as we do NOT have US Mail service and that cannot be an option. The agent said they don’t have control over what shipper is used but they could put a note on the order? We were told in order to make this happen we would need to change the billing/shipping address on our account. We quickly entered the correct address, but when we tried to save it, the system again wants to verify by sending a text to the non-activated phone number. However, this time there is no “another way” so we are completely stuck. We explain this situation to the agent and were told that they will need to escalate this. The agent understood our frustration but “guaranteed” that the address issue would be fixed within 1-2 hours and we would receive an email. Once that occurred, we would need to again contact support and request that they overnight a new sim to the new address (if it gets changed).
6/1/2024 – 7:15pm – (please note that this is WAY more than 1-2 hours) We still have not received any email, so again, I use the chat and get connected to an agent. I provide the case number and the agent quickly sees that it has been way more than 1-2 hours and commits to escalate it with “urgency”. The agent says that this will ensure that the issue is resolved in 1 hour. I explain that we barely have 1 hours’ worth of patience left but will look forward to the resolution in an hour! I did ask if it would just be easier to cancel EVERYTHING out of the system, issue us a refund and let us start over with a fresh new order. The agent said that this would cause issue with the current escalation??
6/1/2024 – 9:35pm – As you may have guessed…still NOTHING from Visible. We cannot change anything or start over since the system thinks we already have an activated sim and working phone but we DON’T. This is beyond absurd and just INSANE!! I had such high hopes and I fully understood that the cost structure allows a more limited support venue, but this is NUTS! How can you keep customers when you cannot even get them setup correctly, and when your system causes issues, how can you not provide your support team the tools and resources to quickly get them corrected?? I am not sure what our next steps should be but after requesting a supervisor, manager or team leader at every chat session, the standard response is “I am sorry but they are not currently available”! How does anything get done at Visible??!! I am a VP of Solutions Engineering and I couldn’t screw up a system this bad if I had my whole team focused on it!
Thanks for letting me vent and ramble, but I would be cautious about signing up with Visible. If things change and get quickly corrected, I will be the first to give kudos and update this here, but maybe we are just in a unique loophole situation that others don’t face?? Either way, I cannot remember the last time my frustration and blood pressure were elevated to this level.

I currently am in Edmonton and I was looking to rent a place in Toronto to move to in August. I found a really nice studio apartment in a house on Rusholme Dr for $900/month (all utilities included) I got in touch with the landlord named James Alexander Rioux, or James Rioux for short. We communicated through email at first. He sent me a long introduction email, introducing himself and the place, including pictures of the place which look very good. Then, I sent him an email introducing myself and I'd like to move forward with it.
He then sent me his Ontario ID card and a few images of himself (now, this ID could be FAKE, i have no clue). He then asked me to send him a piece of ID and some details like move in date and such. So I sent him a picture of my driver's license, which was very very stupid of me because I should never have shared my ID with a stranger. Now he could use my ID for malicious intent.....
We then took it to Facebook messenger for better communication. He sent me the contract and I signed it. He also demanded $1800 (deposit + first month's rent), which I stupidly.... transferred to him. Here I got a bit suspicious, but still stupidly proceeded to send him the money and it was deposited before I realized something was wrong. Here is when it got hella sketchy:
  1. transfer email is of his quote-on-quote lawyer (I think he is African based on the e-transfer legal name) , ie NOT James (the landlord) email
  2. I found multiple facebook accounts of the landlord which raised a big red flag
  3. No landlord is supposed to send you their ID like that ( so prob it is a FAKE ID)
4) I then asked him to return me back the $1800 and he agreed. However the next morning, he said that the quote-on-quote lawyer told him:
"According to my lawyer he use a company account and the lowest amount that can be sent out from his account is $2500, you will need to send him more $700 to complete it and once it’s received then he will send you $2500 back instantly without any problem."
Now, I think I got scammed..... so then called Scotiabank fraud department and BMO advisor and they said that there is no such thing as a minimum limit of how much money you can send regardless of the type of bank account. It just doesn't work like that which makes total sense to me ( there is only upper limit of how much money you can send). Therefore, they said it was highly a scam/fraud and filed a fraud case for investigation. He just kept insisting on the fact that I had to send him the extra $700 before I can get back the $2500 in full.....
Have you guys been in the same situation? Is this 100% a scam? Number 4 above is where it gets extremely scammy. Since the money had already been deposited into the "lawyer''s account, I couldn't take it back on my own on the Scotiabank website, hence scotiaBank is investigating it.

Carry Handle Micro Red Dot Mount Review: Roushe, Botach, and Amru
I recently purchased three different micro red dot (T1/T2 pattern) mounts for my Harrington & Richardson (H&R) carry handle upper, and thought I should put my findings into a quick review. The optic I’m using is an older Primary Arms Micro Red Dot (MD-ADS).
——-Roushe Manufacturing - $79.95——-
-Pros-
Aesthetically pleasing thumb screw, which also requires no tools to tighten or remove.
Allows recessed fitment for original Primary arms torx button head screws that came with optic.
Fits the Aimpoint T1/T2 footprint well and has a recoil lug.
-Cons-
Fitment is unacceptable. The mount wobbles in channel of the carry handle and, when tightened, leans hard to the right. I’ve included and extra top-down image to illustrate how badly it leans. It does not seat correctly because it doesn’t match the angled flats inside the channel of the carry handle of the H&R upper. It may fit other uppers, but I think the H&R upper is pretty standard, so I kindof doubt it.
Does not come with any hardware, probably to keep costs down. This one is not really a big deal, but it’s not like this mount is cheap either.
No shoulder on the thumb screw, allowing excessive play in the carry mounting hole. Due to this, I fully expect that this mount would move under recoil and would likely loosen faster over time than if it correctly fit the mounting hole.
Anodized finish is very shiny. Stands out and does not match other coatings on the rifle. Feels and looks the cheapest of the bunch.
——-Battlesteel (Botach ) - $39.98——-
-Pros-
Fits well. Matches angles in H&R upper. No wobble or movement.
Most affordable of the bunch at $40.
Fits the Aimpoint T1/T2 footprint well and has a recoil lug.
Flat black hard coat anodized. Matches other hardcoat anodizing on the rifle.
-Cons-
Ugly mounting hardware. The Thumb screw is not bad, but the silver concave washer with foam cushioning and the tooth lock washer both kindof ruin it for me. You may be able to get away with removing the washers and run the thumb screw by itself, but that may cause issues with loosening over time.
Does not fit OEM PA button head torx screws due to narrow recesses. Must use ugly silver hex cap screws that are a touch too long. They’re about bout 1/32” longer than the OEM screws, however did not notice any fitment issues, so maybe the mount is thicker.
No shoulder on the mounting screw, allowing forward and backward play in the carry mounting hole. The mount may move slightly forward or backward under recoil and may loosen the mount over time, like the Roushe mount, however this has the concave foam-cushioned washer, which may help with this.
——- AMRU Designs -$100 ——-
-Pros-
Fits very well. Matches angles in the H&R upper, and has tight tolerances, so it fits snuggly in the channel of the carry handle.
The 5/16 head mounting bolt has a shoulder which fits well in the mounting hole of the carry handle. This should mitigate the effects of recoil in moving the mount forward or backward and should also assist in returning to zero, should I need to remove the mount from the upper. Neither of the other mounts have this feature.
Fits the Aimpoint T1/T2 footprint well and has a recoil lug.
Flat black hard coat anodized. Matches other hardcoat anodizing on the rifle.
Most aesthetically pleasing of the bunch, overall.
-Cons-
Most expensive at $100.
Tightening or removing requires tools. I would prefer that this came with a thumb screw of some sort, but I also understand why they went with a hex head bolt for reliability, so this may not really be a con.
Does not come with the nice, fitted washer as displayed on the website. Simply comes with standard washer. Maybe this was a compatibility issue, and didn’t fit all carry handles? Either way, they should update the website to accurately represent the product.
——-Final Thoughts——-
While your mileage may vary with other carry handle uppers, I found the Amru Designs mount to be the best of the three, albeit a bit overpriced. The BattleSteel mount comes in second as a very affordable, quality option. The Roushe mount is quite frankly a terrible disappointment. I could not recommend anyone purchase one of these mounts. The fitment alone is atrocious. I reached out to Roushe via email twice. I have not received any response from them, and it’s been two weeks. I will update if I hear from them.

To see the BSOD error picture, go to the Frequently Asked Question section at the bottom.
"Encounter" means you tap on the Pokemon to check if it's shiny and flee or you fail to catch it.
  • Encounter limit is between 7,000 to 10,000, but Shungo recommends 5,000.
  • This number is specific to Shungo and does not include the use of a "shiny scanner" that can be found in other rooted 3rd party apps like Pokemod, iPogo, Pgsharp, and Polygon. When a shiny scanner is used, there is no way to see how many wild Pokemon was checked.
"Catch" means you tap on the Pokemon and throw the Pokeball to capture it.
  • Catch limit per day: 4,800 Pokemon
  • Catch limit per week: 14,000 Pokemon
Punishment for exceeding the encounter or catch limit: "BSOD" (Blue Screen of Dead) / suspicious activity screen. You will be locked out of the game for a total of 24 hours. If you continue to get this screen multiple times, it could lead to a strike. There is a chance that Niantic can skip to the 2nd (30-day temporary ban) or 3rd strike (permanent ban)

Punishment for exceeding the spin limit: You get an error that's says "Try again later." when you attempt to spin over the limit and will not receive any more items.
[#6] Since this is considered botting, it may carry heavier punishment like the "Red Slashed" Pokemon.
  • Red slashed Pokemon can only be transferred and are not usable in raids, gyms, battles, and cannot be traded. You will see a red line on your all your Pokemon in addition to receiving your strike.
  • It's unclear whether Niantic may bring this type of punishment back because the last time it happened was during the major ban wave in November 2019.
  • Don't forget, they can skip to the 3rd strike for instant permanent account bans.

[1] Go to https://shungo.app/
  • Press on "login" and then create an account.

[3] Download the "Shungo.apk" from their #Downloads channel in Discord.
[4] Open your "Files", "My Files", or whatever is your file manager app.
[5] Go to your "Internal Storage" then "Downloads" folder.

[8] Open Shungo app.

Why am I getting the "We have detected unusual activity from your account. As a result, temporarily limitations have been placed on your play." ?
  • This is the "BSOD" you get from hitting the encountecatch limited explained at the top.
  • You can also hit the limit leave the "shiny scanner" feature on with other rooted 3rd party apps like Pokemod, iPogo, or Pgsharp while you walk your buddy for candies and to hatch eggs without catching any Pokemon.
  • You should also limit how many times you repeat Spotlight Hour and Community Day events because Pokemon spawns are everywhere, so it's very easy to hit the check limit for one day.

Why are I getting "Pokemon GO is currently down for maintenance. Please try again later." ?
  • PTC account server is down.
  • Niantic's servers are having problems.
  • You switched accounts too fast. Log out, wait 5+ minutes, and then log in with a different account.

Why am I getting Error 15 after switching accounts?
Red boxes are to censor my personal information along with time and date. If you post this screenshot without covering your information, Niantic can identify you and terminate all your accounts.
  • I think this screen appears after you have received the server maintenance screen when you don't wait 5+ minutes before logging into a different account. You may or may not get this screen as a warning. If you fail to wait longer before you switch accounts, you will get the Error 15 screen.
  • This is a temporary IP ban that lasts for a few hours to 72 hours.
To bypass the Error 15 screen:
  1. Clear app cache and app data for all your web browser apps: Chrome, Internet (Samsung), FireFox, Opera, Dolphin, etc.
  2. Clear app cache for Pokemon Go (includes no root 3rd party modified game apps).
  3. Restart your device.
  4. Connect to a VPN server.
  5. www.whatismyip.com to check you are not using your home IP address.
  6. Open the game and log in.
  7. When you want to switch accounts, you log out, wait 5+ minutes, and then you log in with a different account while you are still using the VPN.
  8. If you still get the Error 15 screen while using your VPN, this means the VPN IP address got temporarily banned because someone else tried to bypass the Error 15 but failed to correctly do it. Then, you would have to repeat the steps and try a different VPN server.
