I’m speaking to those who have completed the game at least 5 times like myself.. does anyone else perpetually restart the game these days as soon as Arthur gets sick? Or do you suffer through the incredibly horrible ending and then play ranch hand with John just to get to American Venom.. cause honestly every time I lay my eyes on skinny Arthur, it just makes me want to go right back to the beginning in the snow with him in his blue jacket. Of course I have a save file to screw around with John at the end of the game but chapter 6…beaver hollow…Sadie bounty hunting…there was only so much I can take of that and I reached my limit long ago. And most of all, I truly enjoy being a raging lunatic as Arthur rather than a man who’s come face to face with mortality seeking redemption. As much as that touched my heart the first few playthroughs, it don’t hit the same anymore and I just can’t play the game the way I want to in chapter 6 if you know what I mean. Anyways this wasn’t actually supposed to be a rant. Hope y’all can relate!

I've been thinking about that scene in the first book/movie where Cato has Peeta in a chokehold, deranged and covered in blood.

Bring your daughter to work day falls on April 25th. The Black Mesa incident itself occurs on May 16th. Black Mesa and Aperture Science were VERY aware of each other and had an intense rivalry, and with GLaD0S' claims of limitless knowledge and with her being an AGI afterall- it's not too hard to conclude that Aperture had been using her to likely hack into and spy on what Black Mesa was doing.
I hypothesize that GLaD0S knew about the possibility of a resonance cascade event and likely knew that said test was going to take place on May 16th. She easily could have ran the numbers herself- and it's possible she even may have known about Xen already depending on how much access she would've had to Black Mesa's systems. So GLaD0S knows that something is about to go horribly, horribly wrong at Black Mesa via resonance cascade, and knowing about portals and the numbers on them as well as extraterrestrials and other dimensions- she concludes that humanity is borked, but with one solution.
Aperture Science is an analogue to Noah's Ark. Let me explain here. We see that it appears most, if not all, of the test subjects are "expired". I don't think this is actually the case. None of them are dead at all, in fact, but GLaD0S changes the displays to make it appear as though they had been expired to discourage both Doug Ratt Man and Chell from trying to rescue anyone and borking up her plans.
On April 25th, GLaD0S releases the neurotoxin that kills most of the aperture science employees and locks down the facility. At the end of Portal 1- while the Combine are likely occupying Earth or are in the middle of the 7 hour war- Chell does escape, but is recaptured by GLaD0S. Both of these actions are for the same reason- controlling the flow of information. If Aperture Science has been around and still staffed when the Combine had invaded then they CERTAINLY would have tried to get involved, and likely lost, meaning humanity would truly have no real hope left. (GLaD0S of course couldn't have accounted for Freeman, but neither could the Combine.) So the best way to preserve the sanctity of Aperture and to prevent her destruction, the facilities destruction, and the test subjects that are all frozen- she kills off the staff. Now nobody can get out and help against the Combine and put Aperture and that fraction of humanity still alive at risk.
Now there's a lot of other things that happen throughout the games. GLaD0S is sadistic and genuinely derives enjoyment out of being cruel and her tests, but she's a bored AGI with an infinite capacity for knowledge. Gotta do something to pass the time, right?
By the time of Portal 2- there is the 50,000 year timeskip. We see at the end of Portal 2 that the Earth is a blue and green marble, totally normal, but in Half Life 2 it's noted that the Combine were draining the oceans. 50,000 years is enough time for the oceans to repair themselves, for the Earth to repair itself, and this time- GLaD0S lets Chell go voluntarily. There isn't an external threat to worry about anymore. Although yes I am aware of their relationship and actions throughout the two games. I also believe that those "expired" test subjects would soon be released after Chell leaves the facility.
As a side note, but not serious theory- maybe GLaD0S was testing and testing and testing in an attempt to make someone who would be capable of standing up to the outside threat. Creating a Freeman. At the end of the series, Chell is a free woman.
Obviously take this with a grain of salt, but it all actually lines up fairly logically in my mind. Thanks for coming to my TedTalk.

He told the child his name, “Ildini”, and the little fellow repeated it over and over as if it were a game—“Ildini—Ildini—Ildini!”
He ran home still saying over the new name, and exclaimed to his grandfather: “Grandfather, come—Ildini!”

So Icepire Peak campaign, party is level 4. The Warlock is an issue we (the table) are working on.
The party finished the Mountains Toe Gold quest and captured the Wererats gang leader, Varnaster. The table (The Warlock) botched all the social interactions by salavating over the chance to chop off Varnasters tail--fully unsatisfied with prompts to take a trophy from a dead foe, no Warlock wanted a living tail.
Welp Varnaster escaped, and Warlock was given clear instructions by other players to bring Varnaster in ALIVE. Warlock tracks the rat out into an open field and gets within 100ft of their target. Warlock had 600ft of range due to spell sniper.
Varnaster bargains information in exchange for their life. Warlock demands the tail and the information. Varnaster agrees to the deal as long as they can go free. The trade happens, and Warlock immediately kills their target.
Warlock then chewed all the meat of the bones and made a rat-tail-bone-whip that counts as a silvered weapon.
HOW DO I CURES THIS ITEM? The player has resisted talks from fellow players and me, the DM. How do I build an in-game narrative that teaches the lesson of not breaking a vow? They are a Kobald Pact of the Fiend (Tiamat) Warlock, so I feel that is a good thread to pull on to get this point across.

Monarch was born into royalty. The royal family of Cascadia, to be exact. His mother and father were kind people, and harsh but fair rulers. Together, they ruled over all of Cascadia, commanding armies, ruling their people, and taking care of Monarch, their only son. For 17 years, all was peaceful.
Until the Federation, a global superpower, began using Cascadian resources to wage war on their enemies. The rulers didn't like this, so they attempted to withdraw from the Federation, rescinding their membership. And when the people heard of this....
Suddenly, Monarch, a young adult, still technically a child, was escorted from the castle, the place he had been all his life, to go to an unknown, secure place. As he was rushed from the castle, an explosion went off behind as planes had begun to fly overhead. One message was clear; The monarchy was dead. A civil war had begun.
Monarch was thrust into a world he knew nothing about: a war he knew nothing about. So he ran. Ran like hell, until the world stopped spinning and he was away from the chaos. He ran from the people meant to protect him, trusting nobody. All he knew was that he was in danger, his parents were dead; and he. wanted. vengance.
The war waged on for several years, but only quietly. The anti-Federation forces struggled against the global superpower, and their pro-Federation forces: people who used to be part of Cascadia. The traitors. Monarch, in the meantime, was training. He was going to be a pilot. A fighter. However, he failed out of flight school, for "taking too many unnecessary risks". He, personally, disagreed. He thought it was funny.
However, in his time at the flight school, he was noticed by someone. A man named Arnold Frenken, going by the callsign Kaiser. He was the leader of a mercenary group, and he liked how Monarch flew. Monarch agreed to join this merc group, one named Sicario. In the beginning of his time at Sicario, he proved himself to everyone by out-killing them on his FIRST CONTRACT.
After this contract, he was put in a group with three others: A girl with the callsign Prez; real name Robin; who was assigned as Monarch's co-pilot. She was the only co-pilot able to keep up with the insane g-forces Monarch consistently put himself through. A boy, callsign Diplomat, more often called Dip; real name Peter. He was assigned as one of Monarch's wingmen, Hitman 2. He was the son of a political ally of the king and queen; one who died in the same castle bombing as Monarch's parents. He was a good pilot, and was in the Cascadian Air Force before deserting at the same time as the next member of Hitman Squad. Another girl, callsign Comic; real name Evelyn. Another former Air Force member, having been discharged, then picked up by Kaiser at the same time as Monarch and Dip. All together, they were known as Hitman Squadron. They were the best that the Sicario group had, and sent on high-value missions.
During all this, Monarch slowly began being referred to by others as "the King of the Sky." This all culminated in his callsign being given to him, not created by him: "Monarch." It helped that he had.... somewhat of a collection of butterflies. He had always liked them... so had his mother.
One day, after a contract, Sicario was contacted by the anti-Federation forces. They needed help, and they were willing to pay. The war had settled for around 2 years, each side seemingly building up resources for a large clash that hadn't come. But the message was clear. It was time.
The war began. Sicario was sent first to reclaim parts of the country, then destroy certain parts of Federation infrastructure. Until their sixth mission. It seemed like a normal mission, and the objectives were completed by Hitman Squadron. Until the Peacekeepers arrived. The Peacekeepers were the Federation's best air fighters, only deployed to contain major threats. The squadron was the infamous Crimson squad: the best pilots that the Federation had. As all the other Cascadian forces retreated in a panic, Monarch realized something. This was the squadron that bombed the castle. This was the squadron that killed his parents.
Monarch, despite the warnings from his squad members, Sicario's leader, and even his co-pilot Prez, charged them. Despite taking some hits, and flying slightly sloppily due to the pure rage he was in, managed to shoot down one of the Crimson members, leading to their hasty retreat. As Monarch and Prez landed at the base and stepped out of the plane, they were met with nothing but silent, incredulous looks.
The war waged on. Monarch knew his target. He just waited. Kept carrying out missions. Until they got their biggest one yet. Over the Bering Strait, the biggest air battle in history was about to take place. A purely air-to-air combat scenario. This was to decide who had the best air force, and who won the war by extension. Hitman flew into the area, seeing nothing but planes, missiles, and smoke. They flew into combat, and the communications array lit up as both enemy and friendly comms could be heard.
Allied Pilot: We got new mercenary IFFs in the area, who do we got? Allied Pilot: Positive contact, looks like Sicario's here! Allied Pilot: Yeah, well, the only team worth a damn is Hitman! Federation Pilot: Watch it, those pilots that the Peacekeepers keep talking about are here. Federation Pilot: That asshole with the Crown with them? Allied Pilot: Their flight lead is worth every cent we’re paying him, look at him. Allied Pilot: I didn’t think mercenaries like that were around anymore, not after Oceania. Federation Pilot: Taking on a king in a battle royale, just our luck.
They knew who he was. They ALL knew who he was. Or at least... they knew his callsign. They didn't know that behind that visor, that pilot's helmet, was the rightful prince of Cascadia. More chatter was heard.
Allied Pilot: “Monarch?” Hell of a TAC name. Allied Pilot: Self-proclaimed? Sicario Pilot: Entire kingdoms are founded by people like him. Allied Pilot: He’s still a merc. Mercenary Pilot: Not every king is just.
They couldn't know. He could trust nobody but those who already knew.
Federation Pilot: Put a crosshair on that Crown, we take out the king and the rest will fall!
Federation Pilot: That flight being led by the Crown, those are the ones who got away from Crimson. Federation Pilot: We’ll show those blowhards what a salt-of-the-earth pilot can do.
They... They thought he was the leader of the rebellion. The figurehead. The king. As he shot more and more down, he smiled. In the midst of the pure chaos that was this air combat, he felt calm.
AWACS Galaxy: We’ve got inbound, pop-up bandit group at bearing 230, looks like they pulled back for one last push, there's a lot of them. AWACS Galaxy: IFF confirmed, Federation Peacekeeping Squadron Crimson identified with more reinforcements, this is it! Hitman 2 Diplomat: Ah shit...
Crimson 1: Crimson Squadron, ready the MLAAs, we’re putting an end to this party. Crimson Pilot: Looks like it’s those mercenaries, think they might turn tail and run again? Crimson 1: Not this time, open fire.
And as he heard Crimson Team arrive, he was enraged as before. And he did something he never had before, at least while flying; he spoke. Just one word.

And combat began. Monarch ended up shooting down half of Crimson team before they retreated, and he was still tempted to follow them. He was only calmed down when he noticed something: All of the friendly pilots had formed up on him. They were all following him. It was a sign of... respect.
Perhaps he was more of a leader than he thought.

And then the capitol of Cascadia, it's pride and joy, Presidia, was hit with a nuclear bomb that set off cordium in the ground, causing a cataclysmic event and turning the land into a fiery hellscape. Despite this, Monarch and the rest of Sicario survived, shooting down many along the way. Encountering Crimson Team one final time. Shooting them all down. Until it was time for one final battle. And in the middle of this final battle, this climax to the war...
A ceasefire. The war was over. Cascadia and the Federation were.... stopping? Just like that? Monarch was... angry. His parents died for THIS? Despite this boiling rage.... Monarch accepted it. But someone else... someone else had not.
A sudden explosion. Presidia was turned into a fiery crater in an instant. A bomb, a nuclear bomb, had gone off. No. It had been set off. By HIM. Crimson 1. Monarch's rival, his Federation counterpart. One final duel. No wingmen, no reinforcements, nothing. Just Monarch, his trusted co-pilot Prez, and Crimson.
Hitman 1 WSO Prez: I don't know if I can do this, Monarch...I'm braced...
Prez was scared. Monarch knew that. But this was no time to run. He needed this fight.

Hitman 3 Comic: Transmitting a beacon. Dust Mother, he better pick this up...
Assassin 1 Kaiser: They had to take this from us! We'll burn them all, we’ll burn down the Federation!
Hitman 2 Diplomat: Eve? Eve!
Hitman 3 Comic: [gasps] Hey, I’m over here! Hell's bells, I was about three seconds away from putting a bullet in you!
Hitman 2 Diplomat: It's alright, I probably deserved it at some point, are you good to move?
Hitman 3 Comic: Yeah, yeah. It's all gone to hell, the world is about to be remade.
Hitman 2 Diplomat: We're finished here, we gotta disappear for a bit, I don't want to get caught up in what's coming.
Hitman 3 Comic: What about what we're owed?
Hitman 2 Diplomat: Monarch will collect.

They traced Monarch and Prez to the plane, and all of Hitman squad simply.... sat.

However, instead of becoming a king, he created a council. A council of those he trusted, his "family". The ones who would hold power over certain parts of the country. But he never truly lost his lust for the air, for adrenaline. So he gave power of the country to them, and.... simply went back to being the best mercenary the world had ever seen.
Until the Pilot rolled around. Or, more aptly: flew around. He was from another universe, one that supposedly had... wizards? Magic? Of course, Monarch was intrigued. This "Pilot" man also seemed to... know who Monarch and Prez were, and specifically asked for them. So he followed.

Cascadia was whole again. As the world worked together to rebuild the destroyed lands, they all promised that never again would another war of this scale be allowed to happen. Of course, there were still rebellious groups. Groups that needed mercenaries to clear those rebellious groups out. And Monarch was thrust into the world's light, as not only the son of the former King and Queen of Cascadia, but the killer of Crimson 1.However, instead of becoming a king, he created a council. A council of those he trusted, his "family". The ones who would hold power over certain parts of the country. But he never truly lost his lust for the air, for adrenaline. So he gave power of the country to them, and.... simply went back to being the best mercenary the world had ever seen.
Until the Pilot rolled around. Or, more aptly: flew around. He was from another universe, one that supposedly had... wizards? Magic? Of course, Monarch was intrigued. This "Pilot" man also seemed to... know who Monarch and Prez were, and specifically asked for them. So he followed.

Mom hasn't gotten better. She came into my room today to say the heater wouldn't turn on. She had unplugged it and was just plugging it into the extension cord, unplugging it, and repeating. She never plugged it into the wall.
We had a memory test, but for some fucking reason they're not able to give results for weeks.
I'm so tired.
We just put our dog down yesterday. She kept asking me over and over if the dog had died after they pushed the shot. Now, she seems to switch between remembering the dog is dead and wondering where the dog is.
I don't know what else to do beyond assume she's not there mentally anymore. If I keep assuming she's still mentally there, I'm going to end up killing myself or killing her.
She makes zero sense half the time. She always whispers, then screams and gets angry when we mention her voice is barely a whisper. She refuses to do anything more than play the same puzzle game on her tablet and watch shitty Blue Bloods episodes. Her cognition is down the toilet, and everything is “stupid.”
The stupid computer won't work. (She forgot the password.) The stupid sink won't work. (She was pulling the stopper, not the taps.) The stupid remote won't work. (The wrong remote.) The stupid TV won't turn on. (It did. She just doesn't know how to change the channel.)
She constantly remembers vivid details about her friends' drama, but got forbid she remember anything more than surface level facts about me. I like dogs and frogs. That's about all Mom seems to remember about me. She still thinks I love things I liked when I was twelve.
TL;DR: we're probably getting a dementia diagnosis. Should I just say fuck the doctors dragging their feet and treat Mom like she has dementia until proven otherwise? I'm tired of trying to reason with her.

I am having issues with my girlfriend and was hoping within the next 10 days to pop the question, and as shitty as it is, she is bringing up and point of view in our relationship I do not agree with in any capacity.
We have known eachother 9 years, Started dating almost 3 years ago. I had strong reservations about this relationship even beginning because I had gotten out of something bad a year prior and she had gotten out fo a 5 year relationship before getting with me.
This is a rare and only time where the girl was asking me out and I was saying no. I had started to learn about boundaries and mental health and it felt like at that moment I could not handle any form of a relationship. She forgets to tell anyone in this story how the longest she has been in single is 6 months and basically hopped from relationship to relationship.
I had told her she needs to spend a year or more figuring out what she wants in life for herself and who she is outside of a relationship because it sounded like a person with no path or direction.
I will admit I was weak and definitely like her, come to find out we liked eachother when we first met it was just bad timing. The only reason I asked her out is because all my friends said we looked and seemed perfect together and they hadn't seen me that happy in a long time.
So far we have had it good, and of coure some fights, but if I am being fair her last few relationships have been very abusive and non loving and the abuse goes all the way back to her family as well. So after my many failings I learned how to, not lash out or scream or make instant judgements or start a argument with texts, I have learned a lot from my own short comings and it feels she is where I was years ago. When we fight 80% of her arguments come from a topic that isn't even the issue and that fights feel like , I made her hurt or upset so she is gonna hurt me the same if not worse...
An issue I was warned about when I started dating, was after I inherited some money. I had been told by most of my family that dating financially below me could be tough because they might always see the comparison. And in a couple relationships it has been thrown in my face. Its not great, but it was given to me and I know that isn't fair. I would say I spend most of my money on my friends or significant other well being, not to buy them, but gift giving is a strong love language and I guess I always felt guilty I did nothing to have this money.
The recent conversation has been about her making more money versus me. I stopped working about 6 years ago to try and get into home investments and real estate stuff, I got tired of not being promoted when I showed up early, stayed late kind of crap then being asked to do 100 tasks not in my job description, but the actual on paper description of the person who got promoted over me and was not doing. I don't mind working hard or even for free, but if on paper I meet qualifications and the person promoted doesn't, then I have a problem.
This is her first consistent job that pays okay and has benefits. She job hops year after year and when looking for jobs they want some form of loyalty more than 1 year and she keeps wanting to go back to a bar job downtown that when she first had it was making bank, like 1800.00 every weekend only two days of work, but then when every bar opened up downtown post covid her weekend pay was now like 1200, then 1000, then 900. Not to mention tons of shootings and scary phone calls I would get at 3 AM. So we made a deal if for the next three months the paycheck wouldn't increase beyond 1000 she would quit and not go back... So I have supported her through multiple jobs and quittings and her trying to start her own baking business that she tanked because anytime I set a price for her baked goods, she would give a massive discount and not breakeven... I have even done 24hr straight baking sessions to get massive orders to clients in which killed our oven that I had to fix. I just wish she'd stay somehwere for a while and build a resume that works. I know our whole country is fucked financially and the average survival salary of our state is 100k,.. I already cover everything and pay for everything else...
I have been doing the real estate investing on mostly my own, and obviously it is not going well, trying to be ethical and moral and in the housing market seems like an oxymoron. I still have more money than she brings in and I am working on my real estate license, but I bought the house, take care of her, our dogs, mow the lawn, help out with her family of 9, fix our appliances, take care of her indoor plants, gave her a garden for outside that I also maintain, cook dinner or buy dates most of the time, pay for trips, her dogs surgeries etc, She is saying I need to make even more money so she can take it easy and stop working as much... But she has complained multiple times about wanting to help out around the house mroe and with payments... Idk how she can help if she is gonna take an inconsistent paycheck, and have no benefits of any kind and drive farther...
Am I slacking as her man and better half or is she not stepping up to the plate and doing her share?

Just a minor suggestion to add a decent size pool of most vics in-game and give them a couple of limited production run variants that maybe serve a small niche but overall, ARE NOT meta/ meta defining. By limited production runs I mean a total of about 25-50-100 of each variant can be made, and if all are lost in fighting then that variant is extinct for the rest of the war.
a couple of these limited variants I can think of are as follows
-logi truck with a built-in radio or radio backpack at the cost of 1 truck storage space
-the classic Warden smoke launcher apc (should prob be a normal variant tho)
-Cars with high and low gears suited to tow lightweight equipment
-Light tanks with mounted SMGs on the cupola
-flat bed with pop-up headlights and a racing stripe (lol)
-MPT with 4 extra small external fuel tanks, can hold any kind of liquid fuel, can fuel allies and itself, can explode and cause fire damage if shot with 30mm an up ammunition
-crane with fuzzy dice hanging from the mirror
-bard with a 30mm replacing the 12.7 mg, controlled by the commander, zero degrees of traverse, only 5 30mm rounds in storage, gun disable chance increase
-outlaw with THICKK tracks, low tracked chance, increased tracked disabled speed, better over trenches, no speed boost, increased fuel consumption
again these vics aren't meant to be super useful but exist to represent an experimental phase of a faction's vics that didn't make it into full production runs due to cost, function, or other limiting factors. these limited vics would make cool trophies if captured but could suffer from clan man vic hoarding. Just an interesting idea I think, doubt anything like this will be added so don't take it too seriously.

I’ve been playing this game since Season 5 OW1 (I think dive was the meta)
Man, I’ve been addicted to the game since. It’s the ONLY multiplayer game I’ve been playing seriously to improve on. I’m not the best, I’m a consistent diamond player and I’ve peaked Masters occasionally.
I haven’t even had a problem with OW2, at first, I enjoyed the 5v5 format because the in-game fights felt faster.
But man, these days I’m really starting to feel oppressed in the tank role. You have to play so different compared to the other roles. Sometimes I’m legit just AFK around the corner because if I peak I’ll get discord, slepted, and the DPS passive just shreds through me. Last night I was actually thinking of hanging up the controller on this game. Which is sad because I do genuinely love it.
I guess I’m wondering who else feels the same? Especially for tank players?

I'm a 46 year old man who's ended up back in the dating game... and it's not a bit like it used to be. Fair enough. Times change.
Still, the difficulties we're all facing seem to boil down to one key difference between how men and women date. Said in general terms; Men are comfortable having sex with someone regardless of any long term romantic interests. Women are comfortable having sex with someone when they trust / 'trust' the relationship is heading in the right direction.
Naturally, there are going to be outliers (some of them extreme). But, the above may serve in the general sense.

As a side note: his choice to find a different partner is too easily conflated with 'taking advantage of her'; a thing that's more often felt by only one person in the relationship. At the surface level, a man deciding that she's not marriage material is akin to a woman declining a date. For us, it doesn't feel like we're taking advantage of women... we're 'doing the things people do in a relationship'. If it doesn't work out, we still enjoyed our time together (which is hoped to be a mutual enjoyment).
But, back on topic: What we're looking at is a 'category' of men that don't qualify for dating and women that don't qualify for marriage... which may cause you to think of certain types of people. But, this is seen through all the different ways in which we present; regardless of health, beauty, wealth, fame, etc, etc. Everyone pre-disqualifies themselves by way of choosing someone that wouldn't choose them. By 'punching above their class' so-to-speak.
When there's a 'difference in opinion', men miss out and ... women get fucked (over). Yet, both will see this as being 'fucked over'; because we can't seem to stop wanting the things we want and we'll take the risk with someone that's highly desirable.
Worse, most of us see 'giving up' (aka, waiting) as a better option than revising our dating selection criteria.
I was curious about people's thoughts... and yes, I'm not arguing that the above is true, or even saying I believe it holds merit. I'm here looking for people's thoughts so I don't end up with the wrong conclusions (and a bad position to start looking for solutions).

Still, the difficulties we're all facing seem to boil down to one key difference between how men and women date. Said in general terms; Men are comfortable having sex with someone regardless of any long term romantic interests. Women are comfortable having sex with someone when they trust / 'trust' the relationship is heading in the right direction.
Naturally, there are going to be outliers (some of them extreme). But, the above may serve in the general sense.

Mtw2 has been on of the most respected,bought,modded and loved game ever in the franchise. The game has been out for 18 years and still has a community. - More cites. So you know how in the expansion pack there’s more cites then in the grand campaign? Like the holy lands are way more specific. And especially in the America’s. I would want that all in the grand campaign. Like Britain for example in the grand campaign it takes me less then 10 turns to conquer the British isles but in the expansion it’s so much harder. Speaking of the expansion pack we should also add culture with religion. It makes sense to have both
- More factions. There so much potential in the map like in Iberia of course there’s Spain and Portugal why not add Aragon? They’re right there with the same exact land in history but no there just “rebels” which makes no sense. Same with Norway they have Oslo but no there just rebels. Same with Sweden they have Stockholm but no they’re just rebels. Same with Finland they have Helsinki but no they’re just rebels. Same with Ireland they have Dublin but no they’re just rebels. Same with wales they have Inverness but no they’re just rebels same with Estonia and Lithuania I could go on for a long time but I’m going to stop there. The map feels dead at some points
- Bigger map. Kind of the same with number 1 but we should expand more like Iceland would be fun same with the folk islands. Especially expanding Norway,Sweden and finland more instead of them have little pieces of land. But not to big like empire or something I want there to be a lot of cites in a good size map like. I want the map to be like europe(of course with North Africa and the Middle East)
- The ability to make a branch out of your fraction that would be managed by the AI kind of like a vassal. You know what I mean? Like it’s so annoying going on the crusade then losing the settlement 5 turns later. Instead of that you could make a branch like the Holy State of England(made up name) where you give up that land and the surrounding cities to make a new faction which would be loyal to you and pay you tributes. You could make your 2nd son the head of the faction. Notability the faction would be controlled by a AI and after it’s made you can’t unmake it or change the faction leader. Also since we’re talking about sons they should add the ability to change your faction heir it’s present on the mobile but not on PC.
- Events. So again you know how in the expansion pack there’s events like Willam Wallace showing up? I would want that like key points in history like the Turks getting the grand canon or the French Revolution where there’s new faction that tries to take your faction kind of like the baron alliance? That would be interesting and challenging this would probably only in hard mode
- Trading and prisoners . Once you establish trade rights,map information and military rights it’s dead after that. Besides settlements. So instead of having 3 options release,ransom,execute we should add capture where you would keep the prisoners(Along with generals and family members)within your army which would slow you down and later transfer them into settlements where you could bargain them in diplomatic missions. this would also add more building options.Notably this would lower your security and lower public happiness.
- Also better graphics obviously. But I don’t want change to the gameplay mechanics they’re already pretty good.
