Ever-shifting Short Seller Claims

The short sellers attacking RILY in 2023-2024 have been relentless (currently 57% of float sold short per FinViz), with an ever-shifting list of wild accusations.
It's sickening to watch them compile a never-ending list of baseless wild theories and claims to support their short positions, which are demonstrably false. But as each is proved false, they pivot to new claims, and/or change the goalposts.
The sheer volume of shifting claims makes it hard to track how despotic they are with their "platform," and how many falsehoods they've spun. Even for someone who watched it in real-time, for almost a year

Compiled & Debunked

Sunlight kills vampires. To that end, I've compiled a list of (i) claimants (ii) claims (iii) reality (iv) definitive source proving reality.

Why Did They Target RILY?

One of the most vocal short sellers, Nate Koppikar (who also introduced Marc Cohodes to the "opportunity") has a fund Orso Partners. Based on their SEC registration document, this is their investment thesis:
"The Account’s investment objectives are to achieve capital appreciation primarily by identifying and selling short marketable equity securities of underfollowed and complex companies with misleading or corrective disclosures through a research-intensive process. The Account employs a short-biased investment strategy with an emphasis on primarily small to mid-cap companies that are underfollowed and complex (i.e., companies with market capitalizations of less than $5 billion which the market does not yet have a wellformed bull and/or bear perspective)."
RILY fits their description. The icing on the cake was the relatively large market cap, and the relatively small float. Given extremely high insider ownership (32.9% of shares per the proxy), and limitations on when and how insiders can trade, the "free float" of the stock (i.e., the shares that regularly trade) is very small for the size of the company. Moreover, the setup would only get better - given insiders have consistently used their free cash to buy additional shares hand-over-fist (further reducing the float).
That meant, with relatively small amounts of capital, the short sellers could shove around the stock price. That ability to move price opens another profit avenue - taking large derivative positions (buying puts, and selling calls), and shoving the price (or allowing it to drift up) to profit all along the way. It looked so good, the stock has been the highest-shorted on the US indices for several months. Even after the release of the 10-K, shares remain "hard to borrow" with elevated borrow fees.

Debunked Claims

The claims made by vocal short sellers could fill a book. Most were outrageous and fanciful when they were proposed. Virtually all have objectively debunked. This isn't a comprehensive list, as their claims are too numerous and varied. But it paints an illuminating picture.
With a track record this poor, one would expect the short sellers to exit - rather than continuing to spin new narratives. Perhaps the continued attacks are their exit strategy to avoid bankruptcy... Well, #Bullish.
With the highest short interest of all US stocks (albeit likely decreased from the highs of ~76% of the float), I think this is more than ripe for a return to fair value - or well above, if a short squeeze occurs.

Note that the list below deliberately excludes three types of posts/claims from the short sellers:
A) Juvenile personal attacks and attempts to character assassinate and dox a long list of people (RILY CEO, RILY new hires, RILY clients, Marcum the auditor, Marcum's lead audit professional, any firm or individual publicly posting a bull thesis on RILY, etc.).
B) Those that make no objective claims, but simply exist as a product of malicious degeneracy (like pictures of roasted pigs in ovens labeled Bryant Riley the CEO, photoshopped pictures of the CEO in prison chains next to convicted felons, video of an obese woman barely able to walk being gored by a bull labeled Mrs. Riley the CEO's wife, etc.).
C) Those that are impossible for short sellers to know, and impossible to objectively verify (e.g., Marc Cohodes claiming a single RILY trader front runs the CEOs personal short trades in front of clients taking following the firm's bullish advice on those stocks, to guarantee profits).

12) Parrot Capital	"The list of $RILY enablers is massive: Marcum LLP, Sullivan and Cromwell, Seeking Alpha, Holbrook Holdings, $AX Axos Bank, Many, many more."	FALSE There's no global conspiracy whereby these companies - all respected law firms, auditors, banks, and media outlets - are collectively colluding to enable RILY to commit fraud. I have Kerio Connect 10.0.5 running behind Nginx Proxy Manager (port 80/443 only) as test. I cannot get the real IP to show in the Kerio Connect logs, I'm always getting the IP from the Nginx (Proxy Manager) server. I've tried everything setting I could find on Google but nothing works. I'm always getting the Nginx IP instead of the orginal.
Any one here running Kerio Connect behind a reverse proxy and has a working config with real IP instead of the proxy IP? Care to share how you got it to work?

I'm going to be developing sites as a business and I'm looking at the creator plan on .com but its my understand that .org offers the same feathers for free but self hosting is required. Is self hosting, hosting on Hostgator or would self hosting require me to use my own private server and or require hardware?

Hello! Jokes aside from my title, I can tell a server if my order isn't correct on my own and I like pickles. However, I hope that paints a good picture to start with on what type of person I'm looking for. Also sorry, but not sorry for this being a book.
What/Who I'm looking for:

• Generally more assertive and independent because I'm more the opposite from the former and the same on the latter.
• Someone who will mostly have my back when I'm going through a difficult time, because I will sure as hell do the same in return.
• Someone who actually wants to make decisions as equals.
• Someone that is good at conveying what they're thinking/how they're feeling.
• I value kindness/compassion, honesty, rationality, and curiosity above all else.
• I'm just gonna put an arbitrary age range of like 22-33 as a guideline, but it's just that, a guideline.

What I bring to the table in return:

• Very carefree in things like decor, room arrangements, etc.
• I think I'm thoughtful and tend to do little stuff like make sure I ask if someone wants something on my way home.
• I also do my best to be observant, but realistically also sometimes miss really obvious things.
• I like making sure people I care about are taken care and use the previous traits to do that.
• As above, I'm independent and that's is also true in the financial department.
• Open to relocation, as I'm not really tied down by anything.

I'm fairly rational and honest. I talk way too much sometimes, especially when I'm passionate about something or excited. I do like alone time, or just sitting in silence together. I try to keep things lighthearted most of the time and I laugh at a giant amount of stupid things that probably aren't that funny. My humor is pretty cursed because I find some dark humor funny and just internet humor in general. I'm pretty whimsical and often like to try new things. I get really focused on things for a little while, then I kind of move onto whatever takes my attention away. Because of that, my hobbies are kind of a revolving door a lot of the time. I think my worst trait is that I sometimes genuinely have a hard time understanding people and their decisions.
Hobbies:
For my hobbies, it's all just kind of nerd hobbies for the most part. Most of my free time is spent playing video games with the occasional watching or reading something in between. I actually like and follow sports when I feel like it. Said sports being baseball and football. Despite being ingrained in internet culture, I do touch grass regularly. Some things that I'd like to do, but refuse to do alone are things like hiking and traveling. I also don't know if I'd really consider it a hobby, but I exercise.
Physical appearance:
I'm about 5'7 or 67 inches. I've got the old man balding genes, so I keep my hair rather short. I also keep my facial hair around as short. Both of which are brown, though my face has some other colors mixed in. I'm pretty broad. I'm overweight and working on it, as stated above. I have hazel eyes, but they usually like 90% brown and 10% green.

I've heard of some free ones like Liquidbounce or Raven, but I don't feel comfortable with the sketchy executable file raven has. Liquidbounce I'm less leery of, but it is free so I just don't know. Got myself into a Beauty College and graduating in 6.5 months to earn my licenses as a Nail Tech. Costs about 8-10k and financial aid will cover more than half. All my life I’ve been going back n forth from working as a server or construction/welding. Up until a year ago, during the pandemic I realized that the Beauty Industry was one of the few that was still thriving so I took a chance (with the support of family and friends) and decided to pursue this career.
In the beginning it was a little deflating to my ego, the stigma that goes with a male being in a women’s industry plus I wasn’t good at the start ( who is when trying something brand new ) I had no idea what a cuticle was til I went to school. I just knew when it was time to cut my nails and that was that. Never went inside and got a manicure or pedicure before. Not that I ever truly needed one bc I mean most guys do the basic things to clip n clean.
That being said, fellas I’m telling you now. If your an extrovert, enjoy talking to women/making them laugh, take care of yourself physically/mentally, have some sort of dressing fashion, making easy money in AC + tips and want vacations/time off almost anytime you want as long as you give the owners within a respectable time frame. This job is for you! I’ve been working little over a year, no where near as good as my other technicians but I’m pulling in at least 55-60k a year. That’s only doing the basics/simple stuff. Like in every career, you put forth the hunger to learn and get better, you’ll be pulling in more money. My fellow nail techs who have been doing this a long time. A slow week is 1,500 a week for them 5-6 days.
Now I love this job haha. Definitely has its perks, free mani/pedis, the ladies in the salon will take care of your brows, make sure your on point and one thing it has done for me, built up confidence to speak/hold a conversation with women. If you don’t crumble under pressure 😂 servicing a woman’s nails and making her laugh/comfortable at the same time. Whole different ball park. Feel free to ask any questions bros! By the way, there is no background check as long as you don’t look hella sketchy, tattoos are now being more accepted but face tattoos will always be difficult for a owner of any business to hire, gang/racial are obvious. But from what I am told, clients enjoy that im a Millennial, relatable, well-spoken/dressed, tattoos and a decent looking Male. You know how us Men would say girls have it easier in certain aspects in a career such as like a barber for instance. If she was pretty or cute, did my lineup or fade and it didn’t come out to nice. I’d still tip and come back because of her looks/personality and made me feel good while be serviced. “Pretty Boy Privilege” is definitely a thing in this industry so it’s the same for us. Being a young male tech has tons of benefits here also if your smooth English speaker haha.
One last thing to add, if you’re feeling embarrassed switching over from a blue collar job, a “man’s man” type of job. So I've recently been working on getting my workplace's DMARC/SPF/DKIM (Google domain) up to snuff and while most of it appears to be working properly now I've got a few hanger ons that I can't seem to figure out. Mayhaps in part because I've only been able to utilize free tools vs paid tools, we don't even have Google's paid enterprise tools so I know I'm locked out of a few useful things there. For the most part I've been focusing on Google's aggregate report as it has the most number of emails.
In the following cases SPF is passing. Its also been almost a full week since I last updated the DNS records so I would think any cached data should have been flushed by now. To use some example numbers one report I'm referencing has a volume of 664 for the Google server name.
Firstly, I've been seeing a 20230601 selector from 209.85.220.73 that passes DKIM but is supposedly unaligned (Google), the thing that gets me is there's also a Google selector in the same entry that passes alignment and DKIM so I'm unsure why it seems to be bundling two selectors into the same entry. Current best guess is perhaps one of our ex-3rd party email senders but I don't have a way to verify that at the moment (49 passing but allegedly bad emails). Passes DKIM's DMARC.
Secondly, I seem to routinely have a few emails via 209.85.220.41 with a s1 selector that passes alignment but fails DKIM. The bulk of our emails (526 in this case) appear to go through this IP just fine. My best guess with this, given that the s1 selector appears to be related to a 3rd party vendor domain that is verified to send emails on our behalf, is someone is forwarding one of said vendors emails and something is mis-crossreferencing the s1 selector with the wrong domain (3 bad emails). That said I also occasionally get a couple of emails via this IP with the Google selector that passes alignment but fails DKIM. My best guess in this case from looking through the limited email logs I have access to in free tier Google Admin is possibly due to a flat reject policy set up for one of our subdomains that rejects emails from outside approved domains for said subdomain (2 bad emails). Would need to continue dumping the email logs whenever this one happens to verify. Both these two issues from the .41 IP fails DKIM's DMARC.
Unless there's some non-invasive/non-paid tool that I'm missing I'm assuming the next course of action would be to set DMARC to quarantine which aught to nab the problem emails from .41 but won't get the ones from .73 that have the 20230601 selector. I'm assuming 5 emails out of 664 failing DMARC isn't bad but still concerned about the 49 that allegedly pass.

Today I want to introduce a new PSOBB server that some of you might be interested on, specially if you are a former retail USBB or JPBB player or a diehard vanilla player, it's called 'Kiyomizu PSO BB' and today I've decided to open it to the public after running it in a testing capacity these last 7 months or so.
This server aims to make the PSOBB experience as simple as possible, by offering only the original base game and the official quests and features that SEGA had active at the time of the official JPBB servers shutdown. It also acts like a testing ground for the newserv software which emulates all PSO versions online components created by fuzziqersoftware but specifically in the BB side of things in this case.
By keeping the game in its original untouched state we are aiming for the maximum accuracy for archival purposes which in turn retroactively feeds the newserv project as a whole.
If you are curious about PSOBB, never got the chance to play Episode 4, want to start fresh, or want to know how the game server behaved for us back in the retail days, feel free to check it out its open and running 24/7.
Setup Instructions
Download the official SEGA client and install it (make a backup of this installer too as its the original untouched client of the latest official build)

Download the patch and place the two files 'psobb.cfg' and 'wsock32.dll' in the PSOBB folder located at "C:\SEGA\PHANTASY STAR ONLINE Blue Burst"
Note: You can also change the game language by setting the language flag in the .cfg file, 0 for japanese, 1 for english.

Start the game as usual with the original launcher, and upon reaching the Title Screen, input any username/password combination and login, the account will be created automatically (like in PSU Clementine) and the patch progress will start, let it run for a minute or so as it takes a bit and restart the client.

TL;DR
Problem: Device(s) on LAN have no access to Internet
• OPNsense 24.1.7_4 installed on VMware ESXi 7.0.3
• 2 ethernet ports confirgured, for LAN & WAN
• Topology: Router (DHCP) > OPNsense (DHCP Server, 10.29.251.0/24) > One Single User Device (Currently)
• OPNsense can ping 8.8.8.8
• OPNsense can ping user device on 10.29.251.10
• OPNsense [b]CANNOT[/b] ping 8.8.8.8 with source set to 10.29.251.10
I tried default settings, reset to factory settings and just used those, tried playing with the gateway, interfaces (Including unblocking private networks), firewall rules, and endless online videos, reinstalled OPNsense, installed os-vmware plugin, increased virtual machine resources...
Only thing I have not done is install OPNsense on baremetal.
Virtual Machine Specs:
CPU: 4 Cores, 2.70 Ghz (XEON Processor)
RAM: 8GB RAM
Storage: 120 GB
Network Adapter: 2 Adapters, set to VMXnet3
Also tried increasing resources to 8 cores, 12 GB RAM, as well as changing VMXnet3 to e1000.
Everything tells me "It should just work", but it's not, and I can't figure out why.
I honestly don't understand the concept of gateway or firewall rules very well, and keep blaming them.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My end goal is to connect 4 different WAN Routers, setup Load Balancing on OPNsense, and connect to my switch, serving my entire establishment.

What app/website are you using to watch the NBA? ... I'm not 100% it's basically a live stream of the Basketball.
I pirate everything: games, movies, software, and even made my own plex server. But lately I have gotten really into Hockey and haven't found a great way to watch Basketball 2024 for free live.
I don't care if there is a small delay or anything, but it needs to be at a good bitrate at 1080p or it isn't worth watch for me. Also preferably I would want a way to watch it on a smart TV in some way but im expecting to sacrifice that luxury honestly.
ESPN, ABC or NBA Pacers vs Celtics Network. I'm sure you can stream as well as way to watch it but I want to see what you guys recommend.
