I'm grateful that my two AiBnb units are occupied most of the time in my [unfortunately] low-revenue, non-destination-location, quiet suburban neighborhood.
My cleaner and I put great effort into presenting each guest with a stellar experience, and we seem to be accomplishing that, virtually all the time.
Here's a kink that never occurred to me, with all the scrubbing, dusting, airing, fluffing, and amenities we carefully stage to welcome each guest.
A lovely guest (third timer) got RUDELY awakened at 4 AM on her vacation by a loudly annoying alarm clock going off in some other room.
Clearly, someone right before her, occupying the second bedroom in the unit, had used the alarm, or perhaps more likely - a guest had a child with curious hands, who, unbeknownst to all [God bless that brat 😆], turned on the alarm clock.
There was nothing I could do for the poor guest who reported this (who knows how late they'd stayed out the night before), but she was most gracious when I found out, and I promised her such a thing would never happen again.
We're PROUD of our turnovers. We think of and go to lengths such as fan blades. Baseboards. Dust on chandeliers. Fresh batteries. Lightbulbs all working. Clocks displaying correct time. Making sure lawn guy didn't drop a cigarette butt or candy wrapper somewhere outside. Recheck the bathroom once AGAIN after bringing in a plumber for some leak or drain or faulty faucet. In other words, PLACE LOOKS PRISTINE.
NEVER ONCE stopped to think of CHECKING that tiny alarm button nobody even uses anymore to see that it's off.
Never ONCE has a guest reported a discourteous and thoughtless device making itself known with a dreadful, sleep jarring sound, forcing some abruptly awakened poor woman to play hide and seek in the middle of the night, and wander around an unfamiliar space at %X*$!&#@ AM, searching for a maddening noisemaker with the most grating sound, oh where, oh where is that button - without even coffee in me - so I can return to my bed and get back to S-L-E-E-P???
It's been a lonnnng time since I've added a task to our turnover checklist. But even one [brief, but oh, so] miserable guest encounter will change that!
We WILL check the clocks - ALL OF THEM - every time, and ensure such a [arrrrgh!!!] vacation-obstructive buzzkill can NEVER occur, even if it's once every [I've been hosting for] six years.
GOOD ONE!!!
Anyone else ever had this experience???
To those to whom it has not: Has it occurred to anyone else to check clock alarms when doing turnovers? I'm so interested!!

Once everyone was aboard the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower, Mira seemed to relax a little. Davis and Thompson were chatting away with Vebi and Fennis. Povin still stayed near Mira when the officers were chatting with each other. She felt a little lost now that her services as translator was no longer needed. The winds were much stronger here, and one of Povin’s wings got caught in the wind, causing him to lift up. He reflexively opened his other wing.
“Povin! Remember! Glide! Do not flap!” Mira yelled at him.
“What was that Chief?” Thompson asked.
“I’m sorry sir. Ensign Povin’s wing got caught on a draft. They come from a lower gravity world so if he tries to fly, our gravity will break most of his wing bones and tear through his wing skin. The atmospheric belts they wear can maintain their own atmospheric conditions, but it can’t keep up if they full on fly.”
After riding the currents and getting used to how it felt under his wings, Povin was eventually able to land. He quickly wrapped his wings about himself tightly to avoid doing that again. The rest of the remaining Drala quickly tightened their own wings about their bodies.
“I see. Let’s get everyone inside.” Admiral Davis replied. “Chief Rodreguez, your Captain Martinelli sent over your uniforms.” He called over a sailor who had a duffle bag which was handed over to Mira.
Mira looked a little closer at one of the Destroyer escorts. “Sir, is that the USS Bainbridge I see?”
“Yes, it is. You think your Captain would allow us to come get you and not be a part of the escort? Once we stopped receiving responses, he has called in almost daily to NASA to get answers. Honestly, I was willing to bet that if we denied his ‘request’ to join the escort, he would have gone rogue to be here.”
“I’m not so sure about that. Captain Martinelli wouldn’t break protocols like that. He might have been hailing like crazy until someone gave him answers, but never would he go rogue.” Mira replied.
As she finished saying that a sailor came up the Admiral, “Sir, Captain Martinelli of the USS Bainbridge is on the horn for you.”
“You were saying, Chief?” Davis chuckled. “Maybe you should go take that call. We’ll be in the Ready Room. Come see us there after you have spoken with your captain and made yourself Navy presentable.”
“Yes, sir!” She saluted, received the return salute, and headed to the comms room. In the comms room, she was directed to the receiver. “This is Chief Mira Rodriguez speaking.”
“Chief. It’s good to hear your voice again. Do you have any idea how many calls I received from my nephew? I don’t know how he was able to get people to patch him through so frequently while on duty himself, but he’s very resourceful. I have to admit that. Did those aliens treat you well? And who took down communications like that?”
“Yes, sir. I was treated extremely well. I haven’t had a chance to be debriefed yet, so I don’t know how much I’m allowed to say over comms.”
“I understand. You should be able to say at least if the comms were interrupted by the aliens.”
“Not by the aliens I was with, sir.”
“I understand. Go do what you have to do, Chief. I hope to see you back on the Bainbridge soon.”
“I hope so too, sir.” She replied. The call ended and a sailor took her to where she could change her clothes as well as where the Ready Room was located. Once she was in her khaki-colored Shipboard Working Uniform, she headed to the Ready Room and then waited to be told she could sit. The Flx’usri each had their specialty chairs, and the Drala were able to manage the human chairs.
“Is Captain Martinelli well?” Admiral Davis asked.
“I believe his is calmer now, Sir. However, I suspect he will grill me himself once I am returned to his ship.”
“That sounds about right, Chief. I wouldn’t expect any less of him.”
“Grill? Are you in danger, Chief Mira?” Vebi asked worriedly.
“Grill is slang for question soundly, Rear Admiral. I promise that I will be completely safe with my Captain.” Mira looked around and noticed Commander Morris wasn’t in the room. “Excuse me, Sirs. What happened to Commander Morris? I thought he had survived the assault?”
“I’m sure he’s somewhere on board the ship. When we left to this room, he had been distracted. You know how these ships can be hard to navigate for non-Navy enlistees.” Davis replied.
General Thompson added, “If I had not spent my earlier enlisted time on board Navy vessels, I likely would have also been confused. I always did enjoy the Marine Taxi Service.” He joked. The Admiral gave him a poke with his elbow good naturedly. It was a sign that they had been friends as well as coworkers for a long time.
Admiral Davis explained to the aliens, “The General and I belong to different branches of service. Each branch has a love-hate relationship with all of the other branches. We all have our strengths, and our weaknesses are proudly backed up by the strengths of the other branches. It’s like having siblings. I can tease and make fun of my siblings, but if anyone else does, I will fight them to submission and make them apologize to my sibling.”
“Ah, I understand,” Vebi replied. “I feel the same way about my spawn-mates.”
Fennis cut in, “I understand the diplomate you had intended for us was lost in the conflict. We would prefer if Chief Mira were to be this for us. She has lived with us, and we have forged mutual respect for each other.”
“I believe that can be arranged.” Davis replied after a few moments of thought. “Bureaucracy takes time, and the rest of the Chief’s enlistment will have to be accounted for, but I believe this can be arranged.” He chuckled. “Captain Martinelli will be both happy for you and pissed we’re taking away his highest-ranking Machinist Mate aboard the Bainbridge.”
They began talking and getting to know each other and finally, Vebi asked, “I understand you will need to speak with others to make a real decision, but do you think your people will join the Federation?”
General Thompson beat Admiral Davis to it as he said, “They touched our boats. No one touches the US Navy’s boats and gets away with it.” Davis gave Thompson a small elbow to the ribs showing that the two men were friends outside of their official responsibilities.
Eventually, Commander Morris found the Ready room and General Thompson gestured for him to take a seat. “Now that we’re all here, Chief, how about you give us a full debriefing. Start from leaving Earth.”
“Yes, Sir. The mission started off great. Roger was able to correct course as needed, but the autopilot we were using was very accurate. We were all asleep when it happened. I’m a light sleeper and the pings against the hull woke me up. Looking back, there must have been a harder hit that woke me up first, but at the time, all I heard was the lighter pings. I got up to take a look around and then the alarms went off that we all knew meant to get into our space suits. Once I was in my suit, I realized no one else was in the room with me.
“I grabbed a suit with the intent to help someone into it and then we could go back and help others. They were all dead. The atmosphere in the ship was completely gone and we were no longer noticeably moving. I was staring at either a short and rough death once my air ran out, or if I could fix the life support, I could be looking at a long agonizing death from hunger. I never turned away from a challenge, so I was determined to fix the ship.
I fixed the life support and power at the same time. Now I was only going to face a long agonizing death. It was then that I jettisoned the dead. Hindsight being 20/20, I realize it was the wrong choice. I know that Commander Morris felt I should be able to make a refrigeration room, but if you look at the ship and the schematics, but assuming that I knew I was going to survive and make it back home, that ship did not have rooms that were airtight. They are close, but do not seal all the way. Secondly, I didn’t have the materials to make it so that the air didn’t circulate out of any room I put them in.
“At that time, I fully expected that I was going to die out there. It would take time for any message to get to Earth, time to fabricate a new ship and crew it, and time to get out to me. Time that I didn’t feel I had.”
Davis interrupted. “The seals weren’t airtight?”
“The exterior ones were, but any of the interior doors were not. They used a different kind of seal material, and in some cases, we could see light through a closed door. Even the door that was supposed to be the airlock for if we had to open the exterior door for anything. That one was the best seal, but there were still leaks.”
“Continue.” Davis said.
“I was out fixing the thruster when the crew of Black Hole found me. You haven’t met them, and I don’t think they can even come down here. The federation uses color outlines on their emblem to denote classes of ability to survive on worlds, I guess would be the best way to put it. Black Hole is a Green Class. They have the fewest worlds they can touch down on and survive. It’s based on allergy. If they were to even touch the plants here, they would get hives. The Meteor's crew is a Black Class. They can go to nearly every inhabited world. They might have to be careful of gravity, or if the air quality or temperatures are too extreme for the atmospheric belts to handle. Our world is classified as a Black Class planet.” She then relayed the rest of her journey.
“Do you think we can speak with these other heads of ships?” Thompson asked the aliens.
“Of course.” Fennis replied. To Vebi he said, “If you hail Commander Xuan’rawis, I’ll hail Captain S’sveta.”
After getting their targets on a video call, they both headed over and got their counterparts in view too. “We still have two hours until our nocturnal counterparts awaken. We’ll have about an hour of overlap, and then we will need to rest ourselves.” S’sveta said.
The leaders all spoke with each other, leaving Morris very confused as he did not receive a translator implant. Thompson told Mira she could act as his translator, so she did.

I really wanted to put this out here for anybody who might be searching the internet in a panicked fear about making the choice to get this surgery or not. Or just looking for advice to make the process easier! On Friday (5/17) I finally went through with the absolutely DREADED hemorrhoidectomy. I was absolutely terrified based on the stories I read on here, and elsewhere on the internet. Today is Tuesday (5/21) and I’ve literally had no resting pain so far, other than feeling sore at the site. I’ve had a bowel movement every morning for the past 3 days, and felt nothing more than mild stings and some pressure. Now I want to start off by disclosing the fact that I did have exparel administered at the time of my surgery (long lasting local anesthesia) if you can get this, I believe it is one of the keys to minimizing your pain. Not only because it quite literally takes the pain away for the first few days by keeping you nice and numb, but because of that you will not be loading up on narcotics (which cause constipation, the place I think most people with these dreaded stories are coming from) With that being said, the most important thing is to prevent constipation at all costs. I took Miralax once a day until I finally moved the bowels, then stopped. I drink a glass of prune juice every day (just 1) I also drink 1 glass of Metamucil per day (1 tsp in a cup of apple juice or water) I only ate Greek yogurt, chicken broth, oatmeal, grapes, pineapple, cantaloupe and tons of water (6 water bottles about) I’ve also taken my ibuprofen around the clock, I set an alarm and take it just to be ahead of any pain that might come even though I have never felt like I needed it yet. Sitz bath 3-4 times a day and after a bowel movement, and lidocaine cream after bowel movement. My doc said change the gauze 4 times a day, I find myself doing it much more frequently because I pee a lot since I’ve been drinking so much water, so I change it when I use the bathroom. I never lay on my butt, even when I was numb I just laid on my side so that I didn’t irritate anything. For the first few days I iced my butt as well to manage the swelling. I have a little portable bidet that I use during bowl movements that helps with the burning. I’m only on day 5, so I have a lot of healing to do still. But so far it’s been a cake walk compared to the horrors I’ve read on the internet. Just lounging around, rewatching GOT and letting the healing do its thing! I know everybody is different but I think if you take this surgery seriously and prepare knowing that your choices play a huge role in recovery and some of this can be within in your control, you can do it. There are some things that are not within in your control, which leads me to my next point.. your surgeon. I believe mine was the best of the best, he is a colorectal surgeon, not a general surgeon. You need to go to a colorectal surgeon who does this day in and day out vs. a general surgeon who does this surgery way less frequently. I can’t be sure, but from all the positive stories I’ve read, an actual colorectal surgeon seems to be the one thing everybody has in common! You can’t control what’s being done, but you can control who is doing it! Best of luck everybody !! I hope this helps somebody

I am not diagnosed with “Synesthesia”.
I am diagnosed with Autism-Spectrum-Disorder.
Sometimes I see colors that fade again.
I put this into google and “Synesthesia”.
I went to Reddit “Synesthesia”.

My experience history: 1. Sometimes, apparently “randomly” I will see a color pop up. This is getting more common after 3 months of regular zen meditation. 2. When I look at the walls, sometimes I look at the “patterns”. And when I focus on a particular one for a while, it gradually seems to gain a little color. It’s weak and usually a type of red. 3. In most cases I have ever experienced those it was ONCE blue, a FEW times green and MOST of the time a kind of red or light purple or pink-red. 4. I often go over chess games blindfolded and I always remember them after going over them once. 5. Right now the clock says 12:36. When I look at the numbers, I always think of the patterns like 123 and 6 is all of those multiplied together. Or 2304 is 48 squared. It’s very natural for me.
Problems: 1. I thought that most people experience Synesthesia since near-birth. 2. Synesthesia tends to have specific/clear and consistent associations, like number-color, that I can not see for myself, or don’t have. 3. I am confused now.

Wade's visor beeped to life as his alarm system went off, the murder drone's clock showing the time, "8:00 AM", changing to his green-yellow eyes as he woke up. Tina's visor activated as well, the drone girl's own alarm activating she awakened from slumber with Wade.
Stifling a yawn, Wade looked to Tina as he rubbed her back, easing her as she rose upright. "Good morning, sweetie."
"Morning, Wade." Tina replied quietly as she looked to Wade, the two drones smiling warmly as they took in each other's presence. Noticing they were both almost completely bare of clothing, the two drones blushed as Wade began to move off the bed.
"Well, I should get something on." The former worker drone stated as they touched down on the floor, Tina grabbing her green shirt from the counter as she tried to get dressed as well.
"So should I." Tina said back as she put the shirt on, memories of their recent night together still fluent in her mind as she slowly walked over to the kitchen.
The last hours of the past night had been calm for the most part, Wade and his friends detailing their tragic capture, the loss of his brother Ron, the rescue of the drones, and finally, Tina and Wade's miraculous escape from the factory before returning to the base. After the chatter in the bar, the group split off to go their separate ways for the time being, Jasmine going with Wade and Tina to help them into her place before leaving them to watch it while she went to get some food for the next day. During their quiet stay in the apartment, Wade and Tina made small talk over what to do in the future before having what humans would call a... very pleasant night together.
And now, with the new day approaching, the drone couple had to get ready for whatever came ahead. Walking over to his clothes on one of the vacant chairs in the living room, Wade picked up his shirt, slapping it on him before glancing to Tina, who merely wore her copper brown pants and green shirt from yesterday. Smiling at his girlfriend, Wade spoke to her as he turned back around to continue redressing himself. "Seems Jasmine went out somewhere this morning. I don't see her anywhere."
Tina listened to Wade as she inspected the counter, noticing a small sticky note lying on it as she took hold of it. Tina could tell it was left by Jasmine, given the handwriting. The note said, "Morning you two! Went to get some food I forgot to pick up, I should be back shortly after you wake up. - Jasmine"
The pilot drone smiled as she read her sister's note, then turning to the living room to speak to Wade. "She went to get some breakfast, we should expect her to come back any minute now." Opening the fridge, Tina grabbed two cool cans of oil, one for herself and another for Wade. Setting the cans down on the counter, Tina closed the fridge before taking hold of the cans again, taking them with her to the living room where a fully dressed Wade now resided at.
As Tina took a seat next to Wade on the couch, the disassembly drone examined his built-in smartcomm, trying to add all the still active contacts he remembered off the top of his circuits as he spoke to Tina. "It's gonna be hard, being my own person without Ron." Chuckling, Wade smirked at Tina, finding himself unsure at his own words. "Or maybe I'm just overreacting."
Tina chortled at Wade's inconfidence as she tried to bring him some, handing him one of the oil beverages as she spoke. "I think you'll do fine, honey. I've run into some disrespectful humans in my life too."
Wade nodded in understanding as he took a sip of the oil, the sound of the front door opening catching the drones' attention as Jasmine walked in. Carrying a paper bag full of food items, the human pilot spoke aloud. "Morning, you two! Just had to finish an errand I screwed up last night."
"Oh, it's not a problem for us, Jass." Wade replied as he took a sip of his oil, Tina looking over to the kitchen wall as she listened to her sister.
"How was your night? You lovers passed out on me when I came in, so I just rested on the couch." The lover drones gave looks of apologetic concern as Jasmine walked back into the living room, the woman noticing Wade and Tina's faces as she continued speaking. "It's nothing, though. I slept well."
"I hope so, we didn't mean to take up the whole bed." Tina responded as she gave a blush of embarrassment, Wade nodding in agreement as Jasmine replied back.
"I did, really. Besides, you two deserved the bed after all you put up with yesterday. Gotta have some place to blow some steam."
Wade and Tina smiled at Jasmine's comment, then blushed as Wade questioned about her phrasing. "Wait, you mean that as a euphemism or...?"
A knock at the door shut up the discussion, Wade standing up as he offered to handle the visitors. "I'll get the door." Tina nodded as he walked over to the apartment entrance, checking the small peephole before opening the door. Looking down, he saw two beings: a human and drone soldier whom he assumed were from the Coalition given their specific body gear.
While he took notice of the militia duo, the drone soldier spoke up to him. "Good morning, we're looking for a..." He lifted up what appeared to be an ID card, Wade glancing at the object as he heard the drone continue his question. "...Wade Carter? We heard he resided here since last night." Looking to Wade again, the drone stopped himself upon finishing his sentence, then picking himself up as he spoke further. "Come to think of it, you look like him."
Wade smiled warmly as he spoke to the two guests. "That's right. You need something?"
"Eh, more like the other way around, actually." The drone soldier replied as he handed Wade the ID, the former worker drone taking it in his hands as he glanced over it. The ID showed him from when he was still a worker drone, but was thankfully untarnished from the factory as Wade held it tightly. Before he could speak, the human soldier handed him a pouch carrying what Wade presumed were a few more of his personal belongings. The drone soldier spoke once more as Wade took the pouch. "We found these while scavenging the storage bays at the factory, we've been heading around delivering them back to those they belong to."
Wade smiled brightly before finally speaking in a grateful tone. "Thanks, Sirs. If there's anything I can do to help, just let me know."
The two soldiers nodded as the human one replied. "Just doing our job, Mr. Carter. Have a pleasant morning." With that, the troopers departed the apartment complex, leaving Wade to himself as he shut the door.
Heading back inside, Tina and Jasmine looked to Wade as the former spoke to him. "Who was that?"
"Just some boys from the Coalition, and just like Nathan said, they finally found my ID!" Wade answered before showing the card off, Tina grinned happily as she saw it, Jasmine giving a simple smile as he spoke further. "Feels good to have it back, I think that was what was keeping me down a little yesterday."
"Well, at least you won't have to worry about that anymore." Tina replied as Wade put the card in his pocket, taking his seat again before setting the pouch at his legs. Taking notice of the pouch, Tina asked, "What's in that? Battery candy?"
Wade shook his head as he began pulling out the items inside the bag, speaking to Tina as he examined them. "Oh, no, looks like some more of my belongings." Once he was done, Wade put the pouch on the couch's cup holder, on the space behind the drink holders themselves. The items were other various cards and papers with various personal information of Wades written on them, along with Wade's wallet. Wade found it almost comical that the items were all separated from each other, rather than being inside the wallet after getting cleared out.
Tina seemed to agree with Wade's thoughts as he began reinserting the cards into his wallet. "Well, that's silly. They just put everything in that little pouch instead of putting it all back in that thing."
Wade chuckled as he put his ID into the frontal window pocket of the wallet. "Yeah, guess they had to clear every little part of it before sending it off." As he finished restocking his wallet, Wade glanced to the pouch before continuing. "Besides, that IS a nice pouch."
"It sure is." Tina replied before taking another sip of her oil can, Wade putting his wallet away as she spoke again. "On another subject, however, you think we should go see if Nathan's around? Him and Kurtis could come by and have some small talk."
Wade nodded as he started to speak, but stopped as Jasmine spoke first. "Actually, I ran into F earlier while at the market. I heard from her that Nathan was going to be joining her for a date later this afternoon." Glancing to Wade, she finished with, "So he might be already busy for the moment."
Taking his own oil can, Wade shrugged his arm as he replied. "Eh, no problem with that. Don't wanna kill a growing relationship, now do we?"
Tina chuckled lightly as she agreed with her boyfriend. "Indeed, if it were us, they'd probably do the same fo-"
The chatter stopped as another knock sounded at the door, Wade moving to get up again as he glanced to the ladies in confusion. "Another visitor?"
"You think it could be F?" Tina made a wild guess as Wade approached the door, glancing out the peephole in slight surprise before opening the door.
Wade felt as if their talk about the Ceres couple had been a form of summoning as he saw F and Nathan standing at the door, bearing strangely serious expressions as they were greeted by the former worker drone. "F! Nathan! Funny timing, we were just talking about you. Come on in, have a seat."
As the two walked past Wade, F pat him on the shoulder as she spoke to him. "As much as I'd like to visit Wade, I'm afraid we're not gonna be here long, nor are you and the Fowleys."
Wade raised an eyebrow at her reply as he followed Nathan and F, the two simply standing in front of Tina and Jasmine as Wade returned to the living room. "Oh?"
"We're leaving? Should we get dressed and pack our things ASAP?" Tina asked with mild concern as F replied to her.
"Yep, you're on the ball with getting ready, but we're... not exactly leaving." The disassembly drone's words brought a confused face from Tina as Nathan clarified his crush.
"We got a call from J, just as we were heading to one of the diners here." The two drones paused for a moment, glancing to each other as they almost spewed out about their date, but shook it off as Nathan continued with little hesitation. "She told us that Tessa had intercepted some kind of transmission, one that might help us clear up this situation with the company faster than we initially thought."
F gave an affirming nod on Nathan's explanation before adding to it. "Her and J are playing host to a meeting held by the general stationed here, and she wants us to attend." Glancing over Wade and the Fowley sisters, she finished the explanation with, "They especially want you two to come as well, given what you both went through."
Wade and Tina gave blushes of embarrassment at the news, honored by the invitation but also a little uncomfortable with their elevated status as they glanced to each other. After taking a moment to process what they heard, Wade broke the silence. "Well, I did make that promise at the factory, and to J and Tessa earlier... and I intend on acting on said promise." Looking to Tina, his girlfriend gave an agreeing nod as she stood up with him.
"Glad to hear it. We don't have to be in that much of a rush, though, the meeting doesn't start until 10." F stated, Wade and Tina both glancing at the clock to check the time before looking back to their murder drone friend with nods of acknowledgement.
Standing up from her chair, Jasmine stretched as she announced her goals to the room. "Well, in that case, I should hit the shower."
"Right, I'll get myself fixed up too." Tina replied as she looked to Wade, the two sharing warm smiles before heading to the kitchen. Noticing the still unstored items on the counter, Tina spoke aloud. "Jasmine? You mind if Wade and I help store the groceries in the cabinets here?"
"Sure, thanks!" Jasmine answered in a grateful tone as she went off to the bathroom in the back of the apartment, Tina glancing to Wade as she began to take some food out of the bag.
"I'll get the refrigerated stuff." Wade stated simply as he took some items out of the bag, Tina putting her chosen food stuffs into one of the cabinets as they worked to unload the fresh consumables from Jasmine's errand.

My allegedly drug addicted neighbor’s abusive, violent and shocking behavior has evolved from her controlling when, and if I am allowed to use my front door, to me rehoming my cat and harming, my own body in fear of using my toilet.
When my neighbor first moved in, she was yelling and screaming in the hallway that my door is too loud she yelled and screamed that I don’t know who I’m messing with that. I need to set my ass down bitch and shut the hell up this went on for hours I scaring not only me but my cat Littles, at the time. I called the police and then told the operator never mind because I was afraid that police would only make it worse. Because I no longer could bear her banging on my door, banging on my walls, telling me she’s going to kill me that I’m nothing that she is going to fuck me up for daring to use my front door because the noise is too loud. I decided to use my back door knowing that this woman is on drugs. I have seen her drug dealer come in and out of her apartment and banging on her door looking for payment. So needless to say I’m afraid of her and her capabilities. Using the back door calmed her down for about a week. Then she eventually started up with the abuse again banging on my door, banging on the walls for hours, yelling and screaming that she’s going to kill me and that I don’t know who I’m messing with. At this point I did call the police and I have called the police on her many times and none of these times the police have done anything helpful and have never helped me get her under control. So now I’m terrified to leave or enter my home at all. I no longer run to the store and back home. If I’m out of my home, I stay out for hours. I think long and hard before I open my doors if it’s worth another abusive outburst. Since she moved in back in January, I no longer run to my favorite coffee shop and back home. My entire life now only consists of only leaving my home for essentials like food and work. I no longer use an alarm clock as she can hear it and this has created chaos in the mornings and it’s just no longer worth it. I try to keep a window open and face the window when I sleep, so the sunrise can wake me up instead of a loud alarm clock. If I have an appointment that I really can’t be late for I just sleep in my car so I can use the my alarm on my phone.
I no longer wait for the buzzer on my microwave to go off as it infuriates her and sends her into a rage proclaiming that I need to sit my ass down and “stop making a hot plate! I know you ain’t making no hot plate! Sit down and shut up bitch!” I have had to give away my cat Littles because the sound of him scraping his litter in the litter box at night made her so dangerously rageful that I no longer felt that this was a safe environment for him. What has started as me being forced to no longer use my front door has devolved into countless nights of me being curled up on my bed, crying and terrified to move off my bed for fear the creeks on the floor will send her into another hours long rage where she bangs on my walls and on her ceiling yelling in the hallway, and at my doorstep that she is going to kill me that she’s going to make me homeless, screaming that I’m a bitch and I’m a hoe and that I don’t know who I’m messing with. So I remain on my bed causing me multiple bladder infections. On nights I can no longer hold it and muster the courage to carefully quietly and slowly tiptoe to the toilet I don’t flush it after the sun goes down as I am aware that this causes her to be furious with me. I wait until at least 7:30 AM as this is an acceptable time for which she allows me to use my toilet. This has resulted in my toilet clogging at least five times since she has moved in. If you are wondering if I shower at night, the answer is of course not. I no longer use plastic shopping bags for my groceries and have switched to cloth not solely because of the environment but because the noise draws her into a violent verbally abusive rage. I grew up with a father, very similar to her, someone who would fly into abusive, narcissistic rages screaming for hours in my and my mothers face while she and I held each other on the couch or he would scream for hours outside of a bathroom door that I looked myself into protect me from him. The rage fueled punishments were for things like putting, a mug in the “wrong” side of the sink or forgetting what asked for at the store.
Dealing with this lead me to feel like I am worthless my whole life, and caused a lifelong battle with depression and anxiety. When my father died two years ago, I thought I was finally free of the verbal abuse. I thought I could finally rest. I started to be happy and gain some confidence only to be met with the same abuse at a home of my own that I once loved. Because of my neighbor I am the same scared daughter, shaking and crying in a corner, terrified of moving in fear of angering my abuser. And still no one is protecting me.

My allegedly drug addicted neighbor’s abusive, violent and shocking behavior has evolved from her controlling when, and if I am allowed to use my front door, to me rehoming my cat and harming, my own body in fear of using my toilet.
When my neighbor first moved in, she was yelling and screaming in the hallway that my door is too loud she yelled and screamed that I don’t know who I’m messing with that. I need to set my ass down bitch and shut the hell up this went on for hours I scaring not only me but my cat Littles, at the time. I called the police and then told the operator never mind because I was afraid that police would only make it worse. Because I no longer could bear her banging on my door, banging on my walls, telling me she’s going to kill me that I’m nothing that she is going to fuck me up for daring to use my front door because the noise is too loud. I decided to use my back door knowing that this woman is on drugs. I have seen her drug dealer come in and out of her apartment and banging on her door looking for payment. So needless to say I’m afraid of her and her capabilities. this calmed her down for about a week. Then she eventually started up with the abuse again banging on my door, banging on the walls for hours, yelling and screaming that she’s going to kill me. And that I don’t know who I’m messing with. At this point I did call the police and I have called the police on her many times since none of these times the police have done anything helpful and have never helped me get her under control. So now I’m terrified to leave or enter my home at all. I no longer run to the store and back home. If I’m out of my home, I stay out for hours. I think long and hard before I open my doors if it’s worth another abusive outburst. Since she moved in in January, I no longer run to my favorite coffee shop and back home my entire life now only consists of only leaving my home for essentials like food and work. I no longer use an alarm clock as she can hear it and this has created chaos in the mornings and it’s just no longer worth it. I try to keep a window open and face the window when I sleep, so the sunrise can wake me up instead of a loud alarm clock. If I have an appointment that I really can’t be late for I just sleep in my car so I can use the my alarm on my phone.

Recently, I had the pleasure of testing out the 8CH Expandable All in One Wireless Security Camera System with 10.1" Monitor. This outdoor camera kit, Cromorc Home Business, comes with a Network Video Recorder system and outdoor camera that allows you to follow in real-time what's happening around your home or business. The NVR system offers a 10-inch LCD monitor that connects automatically with the 4 cameras without the use of wires.
One of my favorite features of the Cromorc system is its high-resolution Full HD video of 1920 * 1080P and night vision with clear images thanks to the 3 integrated Infrared Array LEDs. I was impressed by the camera's ability to record day or night up to 7/7 and extend the viewing distance to 20 meters. Additionally, the cameras have a metal housing and IP66 weatherproof protection, which is perfect for outdoor usage.
However, I did notice a slight drawback in the night vision quality. The range at night is not as great as expected, but overall, the system is good for the price. The motion detection function notifies you with a real-time SMS on your smartphone through the IP PRO application on iOS or Eseecloud on Android's Google Play, which is quite helpful.

SK Hynix fa avanzare la produzione di massa della memoria HBM4

SK Hynix sta accelerando la produzione di massa della sua memoria HBM4, con il primo lotto previsto per il secondo semestre del 2025. Questa mossa anticipa i piani iniziali del 2026, allineandosi alla crescente domanda di memorie ad alte prestazioni per le tecnologie dell’intelligenza artificiale. Micron ha ufficialmente iniziato la distribuzione del nuovo modulo di memoria LPCAMM2 il 7 maggio 2024. Questo modulo utilizza la tecnologia avanzata LPDDR5X ed è progettato specificamente per la workstation mobile Lenovo ThinkPad P1 Gen 7. AMD Annuncia i Nuovi Ryzen 7 8700F e Ryzen 5 8400F Senza Grafica Integrata

AMD sta per ampliare la sua offerta di CPU Desktop con i modelli Ryzen 7 8700F e Ryzen 5 8400F, destinati al canale retail “Processor in Box (PIB)”. Questi processori sono basati sulla tecnologia a 4nm “Hawk Point” o “Phoenix 2” e presentano l’architettura “Zen4“. Entrambi i modelli hanno la GPU integrata disabilitata, come indicato dal suffisso “F”.
Il Ryzen 7 8700F ha una configurazione a 8 core/16 thread e raggiunge una frequenza boost fino a 5.00GHz, leggermente inferiore rispetto ai 5.10GHz del modello 8700G. Nonostante la GPU disabilitata, il processore mantiene attiva un’unità di elaborazione neurale (NPU), che fornisce 16TOPSper l’IA. Il TDP rimane a 65Watt, come per l’8700G.

TSMC Inizierà la Produzione di Massa del Nodo N3P a 3nm di Terza Generazione nel 2024

TSMC sta per avviare la produzione di massa della sua tecnologia di nodo a 3nm di terza generazione, nota come N3P, entro la fine di quest'anno, dopo il successo della tecnologia di processo di seconda generazione a 3nm (N3E) nel quarto trimestre del 2023. Architettura AMD Zen 5C: Fino a 192 Core, Zen 6 Potrebbe Arrivare a 32 Core per CCD
