2024.05.18 08:07 EricLannonDrama Lannon banned from Mellow Mushroom
By Jesse Siebentritt October 29, 2014 11:35pm EDT By Jimmy James 15 hours ago
The owner of the Mellow Mushroom on Cary Street banned Eric Lannon from the restaurant because he had entered the pizzeria after the kitchen had closed last Thursday and offered to buy slices of pizza from patrons, according to an article posted yesterday afternoon on CBS 6 WTVR’s website.
This is not the first time Lannon’s behavior has drawn the ire of the Richmond community. A URPD crime alert from Feb. 5, 2014 warned students and faculty that Lannon had been seen on campus and had “a history of theft and swindling.”
Shortly after students received the alert from campus police, The Collegian published accounts from students who said Lannon had deceived them into offering him a place to stay by claiming he was staying with his sister and had not been able to get in touch with her.
Mellow Mushroom bartender Ty Wells said Lannon had been “clearly intoxicated” when he arrived at the restaurant around 11:30 p.m., and police escorted him out after he failed to score a slice, according to the WTVR article.
Lannon returned to Mellow Mushroom the next morning to confront the owner, Scott Douglas, who decided to ban Lannon after reading about him online, according to WTVR.
A Google search for “Eric Lannon” turned up a link to a blog on
www.tigerdroppings.com, a Louisiana State University message board, where posters wrote that they had been conned by Lannon in other Southeastern cities, including Charleston, South Carolina and Raleigh, North Carolina.
WhitePages.com lists an Eric Lannon with a residential address in Henrico county.

2024.05.13 17:39 my-dawgggg HOA Speeding Ticket
Visited an island 2 hours outside of Charleston, SC called Fripp Island. Pulled over by HOA I’m guessing, white truck with orange and white lights, for going 33 in a 25. The ticket is $25.
We were renting a house for the weekend but they took my ID and wrote down my information. Am I obligated to pay the $25 or would there be any harm in just not paying the fine? Asking for a friend
Edit: I’m not concerned about paying the $25 but I wanted to see what the community thought about the legality of it hence
legal. For those saying I shouldn’t have pulled over, as other comments have pointed out they are deputized and have the same rights as the police apparently. I don’t think they’d just let you go.
Also, they don’t know the address I was staying as I was just a guest

2024.05.11 00:37 Relative-Total-5534 Welcome Post (please read)🥰
Hi everyone! My name is Olivia. Been floating around on Reddit for a while and finally decided to start posting. This page will mainly be used for selfies and photo dumps. It’s also a place for me to network and make connections, and just get to know new people! I wanted to make this post to state a few boundaries I have for chatting. I’m only doing this as a small precaution that will hopefully go a long way:)
- This should be obvious, but please do not ask for nude photos! I don’t feel comfortable sending them to anyone.
- Don’t ask for very specific personal info, such as my address or school. I live in the Charleston area, but beyond that I don’t feel comfortable sharing more details.
- Do not send nude photos of yourself. I know every dude feels the need to do this for some reason, but I will not respond if you do. Thanks:)
- Feedback is welcome on any of my posts, just please do not be mean or insulting. I have feelings too!
- Keep convos atleast PG-13 or below. I’m 15, so I can handle a mature conversation, but if you are being overly graphic for some reason I may ask you to stop. Please respect this if I do. Thanks:)
Other than that, I’m just about an open book. You are free to ask me questions or if you have something specific to chat about let me know. Thanks for reading and respecting these ☺️

2024.05.10 13:01 Business-Werewolf995 Where to live...
My wife and I got married 12 years ago and at the time we struggled knowing where to live. I have lived in many places over my life traveling extensively in the military and for construction projects. My wife has never lived anywhere but home (Philly Delco West Chester Suburb). Our families are here but an hour apart and the middle is the Main Line (Villanova, Gladwyne, Bryn Mawr - very expensive)....we have 3 kids who are in the elementary school but our oldest will go to middle school next year. We have really good schools and the kids are somewhat established. The problem is, I can only find jobs an hour away as Delco doesn't have many positions for me...Montgomery county and east have more work. The cost of a house in this area to keep our kids in the school district is $1m....I am asking her to move away to a coastal town further south (Wilmington NC or Charleston SC areas where $800k gets me a beautiful home in a smaller city minutes to beaches I can visit 9-11 months out of the year. She is tempted but doesn't know those areas and feels like she has to stay here because of her parents and her comfort is here. My problem is I've been telling her for almost the entire 7 years we've lived here I am not happy. I've also explained I am not going to work 60-70 hours a week for the next 20 years to afford a $6,5000 mortgage and have a heart attack by the time I am 50. I want to slow down.
I realize some might say I am being selfish and I wish I was happy here, but I'm not and I've tried for seven years to be happy. We are unsure how to address this problem and any advice is appreciated.
TLDR: Husband isn't happy living in Delco PA and wants to move to a coastal southern town for a better life. Wife wants to stay here because she is happy and feels the kids are established and have family here.

2024.05.06 15:09 partypastor Unreached People Group of the Week - Jewish Peoples of the United States
banner Welcome back to the
Reformed UPG of the Week!
Gonna leave this here because reddit is still a massive pain these days Slight update, the new reddit UI has made it almost impossible for me to quickly do these, like I used to be able to do. Thus, theres a chance it becomes UPG of the every other week until the problem is fixed. I can't spend every one of my entire Monday mornings working on this for hours with stupid formatting issues.
Last week I was
reminded just how many Unreached People Groups there are in America. So today we are doing the largest unreached people group in the US,
Jewish peoples of America.
Region: United States
map of Jewish peoples in the United States Stratus Index Ranking (Urgency): 34
It has been noted to me by
u/JCmathetes that I should explain this ranking. Low numbers are more urgent, both physically and spiritually together, while high numbers are less urgent. The scale is 1-177, with one number assigned to each country. So basically on a scale from Afghanistan (1) to Finland (177), how urgent are the peoples physical and spiritual needs.
The Stratus Index - Synthesizes reliable data from different sources to clearly display the world’s most urgent spiritual and physical needs. The vast majority of missions resources go to people and places already Reached by the Gospel, while only 3% of missionaries and 1% of missions money are deployed among the Unreached. This is the Great Imbalance. As a result, there are more people without access to the Gospel today than a decade ago. Stratus seeks to equip the global church with fresh vision to accomplish the Great Commission by addressing some of the factors that perpetuate the Great Imbalance. We hope this tool allows the church to better understand what steps will be required to overcome the barriers that prevent needs from being met, spurring informed and collaborative missions strategy. The Mississippi–Missouri River, the world's fourth longest river system, runs mainly north–south through the heart of the country. The flat, fertile prairie of the Great Plains stretches to the west, interrupted by a highland region in the southeast. The Rocky Mountains, west of the Great Plains, extend north to south across the country, peaking at over 14,000 feet (4,300 m) in Colorado. Farther west are the rocky Great Basin and deserts such as the Chihuahua, Sonoran, and Mojave. The Sierra Nevada and Cascade mountain ranges run close to the Pacific coast, both ranges also reaching altitudes higher than 14,000 feet (4,300 m). The lowest and highest points in the contiguous United States are in the state of California, and only about 84 miles (135 km) apart. At an elevation of 20,310 feet (6,190.5 m), Alaska's Denali is the highest peak in the country and in North America.
30A in Florida Denver, CO Mississippi River Wildlife of US: There are 311 known reptiles, 295 amphibians and 1154 known fish species in the U.S. Known animals that exist in the US include white-tailed deer, bobcat, raccoon, muskrat, striped skunk, barn owl, American mink, American beaver, North American river otter, red fox, American Black Bear, Hawaiian Monk Seal, Black-Footed Ferret, Gila Monster, Groundhog, Pronghorn, American Alligator, Crocodile, American Bison, bald Eagle, wolves, mountain lions, Grizzly bears, polar bears, lynx, muskox, caribou, and now I'm tired of searching for lists that include all the animals. We have tons of venomous snakes, we have invasive pythons in the everglades.
Unfortunately, there is an invasive but existing population of wild monkeys in Silver Springs Florida.

Languages: While many languages are spoken in the United States, English is the most common. Although there is no official language at the federal level, some laws—such as U.S. naturalization requirements—standardize English, and most states have declared English as the official language. Three states and four U.S. territories have recognized local or indigenous languages in addition to English, including Hawaii (Hawaiian), Alaska (twenty Native languages), South Dakota (Sioux), American Samoa (Samoan), Puerto Rico (Spanish), Guam (Chamorro), and the Northern Mariana Islands (Carolinian and Chamorro). In Puerto Rico, Spanish is more widely spoken than English. According to the American Community Survey, in 2010 some 229 million people (out of the total U.S. population of 308 million) spoke only English at home. More than 37 million spoke Spanish at home, making it the second most commonly used language. Other languages spoken at home by one million people or more include Chinese (2.8 million), Tagalog (1.6 million), Vietnamese (1.4 million), French (1.3 million), Korean (1.1 million), and German (1 million).
The Jewish Peoples of America speak English.
Government Type: Federal presidential constitutional republic People: Jewish Peoples of America
Jewish man of America Population: 4,596,000
Estimated Foreign Workers Needed: 92+
Beliefs: The Jewish peoples of America are 2.7% Christian, but only 1.6% Evangelical. That means out of their population of 4,596,000, there are roughly 73,000 believers who share their faith. That slightly more than 1 believer for every 100.
Like all those who deny Christ, the Jewish peoples are deceived and follow a false god. For religious Jewish peoples, God (
not the true God at this point) is the Supreme Being, the Creator of the universe, and the ultimate Judge of human affairs. Beyond this, the religious beliefs of the Jewish communities vary greatly. Orthodox Jewish peoples generally follow the traditional religious beliefs and practices found in the Jewish literature that interprets Scripture regarding ethical, religious, civil and criminal matters. Conservative Judaism is less traditional than Orthodox and combines different ethical, philosophical, and spiritual schools of thought. Reform Judaism is the most liberal form and interprets Jewish beliefs and practices in light of contemporary life and thought. Reform Jewish peoples do not believe that the Jewish Law is divinely revealed. They are not restricted to kosher (traditional, approved) foods, nor do they wear the skull cap (yarmulke) when praying or use Hebrew in prayer. All religious Jewish peoples believe in the coming of a Messianic Age, but only the Orthodox Jewish peoples look for a personal Messiah.
Not all Jewish peoples are religious. Some understand their "Jewishness" only as a social and cultural identity. American Jewish peoples are more likely to be atheists or agnostics than most Americans.
The Wilshire Boulevard Temple, known from 1862 to 1933 as Congregation B'nai B'rith, is a Reform Jewish congregation and synagogue, located at 3663 Wilshire Boulevard, in the Wilshire Center district of Los Angeles, California, in the United States. Founded in 1862, it is the oldest Jewish congregation in Los Angeles. History: Jewish peoples were present in the Thirteen Colonies since the mid-17th century. However, they were small in number, with at most 200 to 300 having arrived by 1700. Those early arrivals were mostly Sephardi Jewish immigrants, of Western Sephardic (also known as Spanish and Portuguese Jewish) ancestry, but by 1720, Ashkenazi Jewish peoples from diaspora communities in Central and Eastern Europe predominated.
For the first time, the English Plantation Act 1740 permitted Jewish peoples to become British citizens and emigrate to the colonies. The first famous Jewish person in U.S. history was Chaim Salomon, a Polish-born Jewish person who emigrated to New York and played an important role in the American Revolution. He was a successful financier who supported the patriotic cause and helped raise most of the money needed to finance the American Revolution.
Despite the fact that some of them were denied the right to vote or hold office in local jurisdictions, Sephardi Jewish peoples became active in community affairs in the 1790s, after they were granted political equality in the five states where they were most numerous. Until about 1830, Charleston, South Carolina had more Jewish peoples than anywhere else in North America. Large-scale Jewish immigration commenced in the 19th century, when, by mid-century, many German Jewish peoples had arrived, migrating to the United States in large numbers due to antisemitic laws and restrictions in their countries of birth. They primarily became merchants and shop-owners. Gradually early Jewish arrivals from the east coast would travel westward, and in the fall of 1819 the first Jewish religious services west of the Appalachian Range were conducted during the High Holidays in Cincinnati, the oldest Jewish community in the Midwest. Gradually the Cincinnati Jewish community would adopt novel practices under the leadership Rabbi Isaac Meyer Wise, the father of Reform Judaism in the United States, such as the inclusion of women in minyan. A large community grew in the region with the arrival of German and Lithuanian Jewish peoples in the latter half of the 1800s, leading to the establishment of Manischewitz, one of the largest producers of American kosher products and now based in New Jersey, and the oldest continuously published Jewish newspaper in the United States, and second-oldest continuous published in the world, The American Israelite, established in 1854 and still extant in Cincinnati. By 1880 there were approximately 250,000 Jewish peoples in the United States, many of them being the educated, and largely secular, German Jews, although a minority population of the older Sephardi Jewish families remained influential.
Jewish migration to the United States increased dramatically in the early 1880s, as a result of persecution and economic difficulties in parts of Eastern Europe. Most of these new immigrants were Yiddish-speaking Ashkenazi Jewish peoples, most of whom arrived from poor diaspora communities of the Russian Empire and the Pale of Settlement, located in modern-day Poland, Lithuania, Belarus, Ukraine, and Moldova. During the same period, great numbers of Ashkenazic Jewish peoples also arrived from Galicia, at that time the most impoverished region of the Austro-Hungarian Empire with a heavy Jewish urban population, driven out mainly by economic reasons. Many Jewish peoples also emigrated from Romania. Over 2,000,000 Jewish peoples landed between the late 19th century and 1924 when the Immigration Act of 1924 restricted immigration. Most settled in the New York metropolitan area, establishing the world's major concentrations of the Jewish population. In 1915, the circulation of the daily Yiddish newspapers was half a million in New York City alone, and 600,000 nationally. In addition, thousands more subscribed to the numerous weekly papers and the many magazines in Yiddish.
At the beginning of the 20th century, these newly arrived Jewish peoples built support networks consisting of many small synagogues and Landsmanshaften (German and Yiddish for "Countryman Associations") for Jewish peoples from the same town or village. American Jewish writers of the time urged assimilation and integration into the wider American culture, and Jews quickly became part of American life. Approximately 500,000 American Jewish peoples (or half of all Jewish males between 18 and 50) fought in World War II, and after the war younger families joined the new trend of suburbanization. There, Jewish peoples became increasingly assimilated and demonstrated rising intermarriage. The suburbs facilitated the formation of new centers, as Jewish school enrollment more than doubled between the end of World War II and the mid-1950s, while synagogue affiliation jumped from 20% in 1930 to 60% in 1960; the fastest growth came in Reform and, especially, Conservative congregations. More recent waves of Jewish emigration from Russia and other regions have largely joined the mainstream American Jewish community.
Eastern European Jewish immigrants arriving in New York ca 1887? Culture: Typical qualification that all people groups can't be summed up in small paragraphs and this is an over generalization. In North America, most Jewish peoples live in urban areas on the east or west coasts. New York City has the largest Jewish population in North America, with over a half million Hassidic Jewish peoples alone. In South America, they also live in cities, but keep themselves as a distinct religious and ethnic minority.
While maintaining a Jewish identity, the majority of North American Jewish peoples conform to the mainstream American culture. "Jewishness" is often defined in more secular terms such as the use of Yiddish words and family traditions, rather than in religious aspects, such as the following of Jewish laws regarding dietary restrictions. Not all Jewish peoples are religious. Some understand their "Jewishness" only as a social and cultural identity. Understanding what it means to be a Jewish people begins in childhood. It takes place in the home through storytelling and by taking part in Jewish rituals and festivals such as Rosh Hashanah (New Year), Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement), and Passover. Socialization also takes place through participation in Hebrew school or synagogue youth groups. At the age of 13, the Bar Mitzvah ceremony for a boy (or Bat Mitzvah for a girl) is an important rite of passage, which marks him or her as an adult member of the community. While these ceremonies were more spiritually focused in the past, they have become equally important as social events.
Marriage and family relationships among Jewish peoples are much the same as other Americans. While Jewish families have fewer children, they are child-oriented, indulgent, and permissive. Although wives generally take on their husbands' surnames, Jewish identity is traced through the mothers. That is, if one's mother is a Jewish people, then he is, according to Jewish law, Jewish. He or she is entitled to all the rights and privileges that status brings, including the right to immigrate to Israel and settle there as a citizen.
I couldn't not include a pic of the notable cultural event of the American Hasidic Jewish peoples who dug a tunnel in New York Cuisine: Popular dishes in American Jewish cuisine include:
- Bagel – A doughnut-shaped bread roll. The dough is first boiled and then baked, resulting in a dense, chewy interior with a browned exterior: A bagel and cream cheese is a popular pairing.
- Bialy – A bread roll similar to a bagel, but without a hole, and somewhat less chewy as the dough is not boiled before being baked.
- Blintz – A fried crêpe, usually filled with farmer cheese and served with various toppings.
- Brisket – An inexpensive cut of beef that is braised as a pot roast.
- Challah – A light bread made with eggs, used as regular food, and on ritual or holiday occasions.
- Chicken soup – Chicken broth with herbs like parsley, dill, or thyme, and often with egg noodles added.
- Matzah balls are sometimes added to the soup instead of, or in addition to, noodles.
- Kreplach are small dumplings that are another common addition to chicken soup.
- Chopped liver – A liver pâté made with hard-boiled eggs, salt, and pepper. Served as a side dish, hence the expression, "What am I, chopped liver?"
- Corned beef – Beef brisket that has been cured with brine and spices and then sliced.
- Corned beef sandwich – A common use of corned beef.
- Gefilte fish – Ground fish – often a combination of carp, pike, and whitefish – that is mixed with other ingredients, formed into patties or balls, and poached; usually served as an appetizer.
- Kishke – A large, starchy sausage made with grain, vegetables, beef or chicken fat, and spices.
- Knish – A type of savory baked turnover; various fillings are used, such as potatoes or ground beef.
- Kugel – A baked casserole made with egg noodles or potatoes.
- Latke – A pancake made with grated potatoes and other ingredients, fried in oil.
- Lox – A sliced fillet of cured salmon. Belly lox is cured with brine and is therefore rather salty. Nova lox is cold-smoked. Lox is often eaten as a sandwich, on a bagel with cream cheese.
- Mandelbrot – A crunchy cookie, sometimes made with almonds, formed by baking a loaf which is then cut into small slabs and twice-baked.
- Pastrami – Beef brisket that has been cured with brine, rubbed with pepper, garlic, and other spices, smoked, and then sliced. Like corned beef it is usually served as a sandwich.
- Pastrami on rye – Pastrami on rye bread topped with spicy brown mustard.
- Rugelach – Small baked pastries made by wrapping dough around a filling.
- Whitefish – Smoked freshwater whitefish, either filleted or made into whitefish salad.
New York Bagels Prayer Request:
- Ask the Lord of the harvest to send forth loving Christians to work among the Jewish communities.
- Ask the Holy Spirit to grant wisdom and favor to the missions agencies that are focusing on the Jewish peoples of North and South America.
- Pray that the Jewish people will understand that Jesus is the long-awaited Messiah.
- Ask the Lord to soften the hearts of the Jewish peoples towards Christians so that they might hear and receive the message of salvation.
- Pray that God will grant Jewish believers favor as they share their faith in Christ with their own people.
- Pray that strong local churches will be raised up in each Jewish community.
- Pray against Putin and his insane little war.
- Pray for our nation (the United States), that we Christians can learn to come alongside our hurting brothers and sisters and learn to carry one another's burdens in a more Christlike manner than we have done historically.
- Pray that in this time of an upcoming election and insanity that the needs of the unreached are not forgotten by the church. Pray that our hearts continue to ache to see the unreached hear the Good News.
Brothers, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for them is that they may be saved. (Romans 10:1) ____________________________________________________________________________________________

2024.05.04 04:10 Hot_Literature3874 Cheapest houses in Charleston
| So a couple a days ago I was sitting with a friend that was a realtor. She’s let me play on your MLS app. I downloaded the cheapest homes in Charleston right now. And I mean the cheapest ones on the market. I didn’t screw with condos because of all the regime fees and other hidden things that go with them. Seriously…I had a friend look at an old old old condo on James Island and the regime fees were over $470 a month. I asked the realtor who was showing us the place why and he said that he thought it was because the complex got sued and they all needed new roofs. Anyway I digress. so the first real home with a Charleston address is on Savage road and in the hood! And it's tinny. How much is it….$285,000! So with interest rates being right at 7% that home, the cheapest on in Charleston, is $2,248.22 a month! Yes, the cheapest thing you can buy. But if you don’t mind moving to North Charleston the cheapest home there, in the hood hood is $179,500. Unfortunately you can’t live in it. None of the inside is done and it needs electrical, HVAC, plumbing, Sheetrock…well everything but framing. That home will run you $1,345.22 a month…but again, you need to sink another $100K into it. The second cheapest home in North Charleston is a tiny home. But…it’s two stories. That home, also in the hood is $279,000. That home will run you $2,106.20 a month. But…it walking distance to the strip clubs 🤷♂️ Now if you want to go a little farther north and dealing with traffic every day you can move up to Summerville. Where the cheapest home is not a home at all but a single wide trailer. This home will cost you $219,500. So a monthly payment of $1,630.34 a month. Folk these are the cheapest homes on the market. This is it. So tell me again how living in Charleston is affordable submitted by Hot_Literature3874 to Charleston [link] [comments] |
2024.05.03 20:48 romanticrohypnol Las Vegas shocked by cannibal murder case, suspect awaits hearing
| LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — It's one of the most unusual cases Clark County District Attorney Steve Wolfson has ever seen. News 3 got his reaction to a murder case involving alleged acts of cannibalism. The suspect, Colin Czech, is now out of the hospital and due back in a local courtroom on Wednesday, May 1. Wolfson has been involved in our local courts for more than 40 years as a defense attorney and prosecutor, but this case is different. He says the competency of the defendant will no doubt be addressed. "It is not uncommon for some of these cases to take years," said Wolfson. Wolfson calls it an ongoing investigation— a grisly murder at East Charleston Boulevard and 3rd Street. Czech, 29, is accused of attacking a man and eating portions of his face. He was a no-show during a court hearing Monday afternoon, now rescheduled for Wednesday. "I would be shocked if there wasn't an effort by his lawyer to talk about whether he's sane or not, whether he's competent or not," said Wolfson. Wolfson says the details from Czech's arrest report are like nothing he's read before. It started at 4:44 a.m. Sunday morning in front of a 7-Eleven at Charleston and Las Vegas boulevards. An employee called 911 after a man tackled and punched a customer in the parking lot. The caller also stated the suspect was banging his head on the concrete—screaming and yelling and pacing in front of the business. Then, at 5:33 a.m., another call comes in from the AM/PM just up the street. Witnesses report a man fitting the same description at a bus stop eating the face of a male on the ground. At 5:37 a.m., the police arrive and take Czech, who is said to be homeless, into custody. According to the report, there is biological matter in his hair, mouth, and on his clothing. "I was shocked, very shocked," said James Burch, who lives nearby. News 3 met Burch, Suzanne Saccento, and Scott Hanofee outside the 7-Eleven. All three once lived on the streets and say it's far more dangerous than most people realize. "For the first time in my life, I was petrified, and I never thought anything like that would ever happen to me," said Hanofee. "I stayed out on the streets for two months, then somebody set my tent on fire," said Burch. "He's security, and I ask him to walk with me and my animal at night because I'm too afraid," said Saccento. As for Czech, Wolfson says there is a process if the issue of competency is raised. "First, there is an evaluation by a couple of doctors, and these doctors then submit reports to a judge, and the judge then makes a finding of whether that judge feels the person is competent or not. If the judge finds him competent, then we proceed," said Wolfson. But if he is found not competent, he would be sent to a state facility for treatment, and the case is temporarily put on hold. As for the victim, he's identified as Kenneth Brown. submitted by romanticrohypnol to TrueCrimeDiscussion [link] [comments] |
2024.05.02 15:58 MrsFriszle Additional Info Needed - Sent to VA instead of SC
I applied for a new passport for my son at USPS with expedited service on 04/15 (in Colorado) as we are traveling 05/16. It moved to in process on 04/22.
I happened to call to add the expedited shipping as I forgot to add initially. They then let me know that the USPS didn’t accept the form correctly (didn’t sign it or stamp with their seal). They thankfully just emailed me the letter requesting additional info and I didn’t have to wait for it in the mail. The lady was super nice and indicated that essentially as soon as they receive the new form they can print the passport and ship it within a couple of days.
We went back to the same USPS on 04/26 and I mistakenly wrote the Sterling, VA address rather than the address in the email which would have gone directly to the Charleston, SC office. The new app was delivered to VA 04/29.
I called NPIC and the Charleston office and they both said that Charleston hasn’t received the new form but that it very well could be there and not added yet. They didn’t seem overly concerned and said to just call back tomorrow which I believe will put us in the 14 day urgent window.
My question is, am I completely screwed here? Does anyone have experience with the Denver urgent passport office?
UPDATE:
Passport shipped on 05/02! Should be here 05/06 per tracking.

2024.05.02 03:58 hyperfixmum If I were their publicist…
I am a publicist but not THEIR publicist. But, for fun, I thought you’d enjoy what my next steps would be if I were each cast member’s publicist or pr manager.
- James Kennedy: I would continue to support earned media around DJing and keep him booked and busy. While in the background creating a crisis plan with lawyers and a Crisis Management firm around the abuse allegations, with all possible outcomes and public responses. I would have him create a 501c3 non-profit with Lisa’s support to help temporarily place pets in foster homes for people in DV situations who don’t want to completely lose their animals when leaving abuse situations. I would work with him to create a few key fundraising events a year for his new non-profit. Additionally, I would work with his Artist Management towards song collaborations with up and coming Gen Z artists and push him into track production.
- Ally: I’d outsource new branding and website where she could automate her Astrology business into a Astrology Lifestyle site. Email newsletters, topics on what a Leo should wear to the Beach, interviewing sex therapist on top advice for each sign, etc. A convergence of lifestyle, love and advice with the signs in mind! Hire an editor, SM Manager and can some good photo content. In the future, I’d advise her to create a retail product around astrology signs. Possibly pitch making an App for a niche astrology need for year 2. I would have Ally and James take break from creating music together for about 8 months to focus on this and work on swaying public perception that she is using James. In interviews, I’d have her lean more into being “so thankful for what the show has allowed her to pursue and manifest her creativity”. I feel like she could connect with the audience more through SM. I see her working more with the crowd that loved Emma Chamberlain that’s now a little older, authentic but now affluent, down to earth but has style, raw yet quirky and intelligent.
- Katie: I love that Katie is different than a lot of the cast and I feel like I understand her Millennial dark aesthetic audience. I would push her into full SAH mode, prepping her for grand opening and being physically present in the shop for a good amount of time to ensure the public associates their venture as truly being theirs and heavily involved before they delegate away. I think she should take investor meetings or scout locations in St Pete, West Palm Beach, and Charleston next. I would be pitching her to women focused conferences as a speaker and get her networking. I would look for her next relationship to be with a indie musician (any gender) and cause a stir (none of the minor league kissing the babysitter bs), really lean into Travis BarkeKourtney Kardashian dark love in her content. I would pitch some ideas to test audience buy-in, Murder Mystery Makeup with Bailey Sarian episode, 3 dark lipstick collab with a makeup brand, and other partnerships. Her podcast could write too much so let’s skip.
- Ariana - I would have her meet with Bravo execs to discuss her own interview style show. Andy has a lot of life left in him but looking at their show lineup, they could add another interview/talk style show without competing with Andy. It would be intriguing because they’d get the viewership vs if she did her own podcast or decided to walk away from VPR. Perhaps the show has Bravo guests and Celebs on for more hands on interactions, trivia, silly games, etc. in the vein of Chicken Shop Date or Hot Ones where she is doing something physically while interviewing. She is charming, sarcastic and humorous while also showing disarming empathy. I would see if there was some product in the retail market that wasn’t oversaturated (not energy, fizzy, coffee drinks) that aligned with her target audience and her authentic interests. A line of organic non-dye drink syrups? Gummies for mental clarity, libido, and skin? Additionally, I’ve said on another post but I would have her in the beginning of 2025 release a canned YouTube series where she renovates and decorates her home. Partnership collaborations with Bobby Berk, Mr Kate, LoneFoxHome, Target, Wayfair etc. It would be completely hers and could hire a good film crew and editor, and see how she likes creative directing and producing medium form content.
- Schwartz: PR stop of current girlfriend media. The public doesn’t care or need it reinforced he can only handle relationships with 20 year olds. I’d advise him to stop making out with randoms in the LA bar scene because he’s opening himself up to risk of false allegations, underage women, etc. I’d try to see if he could book Big Brother and other podcasts with female interviewers who ask beyond VPR questions, but more about Tom. PR Relationship suggestions: Kaitlyn Bristowe from Bachelor if she isn’t dating Zac Clark or Brittany Snow. I think the public wants to see him endeared to a sweet, relatable, kind woman who changes his Peter Pan ways but is still bubbly and fun. I would not advise him to move in with Sandoval to transition to The Valley. I would advise to create more distance from Sandoval and Katie, and come out from both their shadows. I’d have him work with a trainer and get into outdoor partnerships (promotion and modeling) and expand his interests for the show, REI campaign, long distance running/hiking, something with a physical goal to rally and find a different audience - “come along as I hike Appalachia, come along as I train for Ironman.”
- Sandoval: Have whatever new girlfriend move in with him and cause drama as he moves to a new place in the Valley. Let him get eaten alive by the married men who don’t trust him and have him drag them to party nights that make the wives uncomfortable, plus Kristin drama in general. He needs to just stay quiet until next summer (both lawsuits) and try to book whatever will take him while making money and paying down debts. I’d pitch an easy online storefront of Rockabilly clothes he can peddle. No more mocking t-shirts. Reputation management, fly under the radar for the next year until VPR returns.
- Scheana: I’d work with her on a simple script regarding postpartum OCD, anxiety and rage, really tighten up her retelling her experience and have her do a podcast circuit ONLY discussing this and her motherhood journey, such as The Mom Room Podcast. Transition to The Valley and focus on motherhood with OCD/Anxiety, discussing the pressure of traditional gender roles in the home, marriage and parenting, and focus on the relationships with the other women in the show.
- Brock: I think the direction of his construction content on Instagram is working. For the Valley, I would have him focus that questioning attitude on the men only. Advise that the goal with the first season of the Valley is to ensure the audience views your marriage as strong and on the same team (not complaining, only speaking highly of each other), that anything he addresses with other cast members appears more authentic like it’s his own thoughts and not being a puppet for Scheana or production, and if that cannot be done he should stay silent. He should use the Valley to show off his outgoing nature, a real Australian BBQ with prawns (not celebrating Australia Day bc racism/colonialism) and having the guys play rugby. I feel like the public image of being a deadbeat dad can only be addressed by ownership, which he has done and time, consistently showing up for Summer.
- Lala: If her birth is missed I think she should still ask production to film for flashbacks, whether VPR or the Valley. I would have Lala team up with an LA organization such as @redeyeinc and Watts Community Center for their meals, baby necessities, mentorship etc for vulnerable populations. Other celebrities have and I think it would help her marry her rough edges and softness for a cause outside of herself. I believe they would also allow filming but she should get involved before filming and push helping single mothers in need and fundraising. I would advise Lala to pivot her podcast into interviewing female influencers and entrepreneurs and stay away from the current show gossip, and try to get the gossip from others. I think moving into mommy influencing without using the kids is and would work, promoting kid learning programs, baby products such as the Honest Company, her own Mommy and Me fashion (kimonos, bathing suits, dresses, hair accessories).
What would you like to see from them? What ways could they rehab poor public perception?
