I'm so thrilled because after being general(medically) discharged from the army I wasn't feeling great about myself. The first thing I did to fill my time was the makeitminis which I first saw on myfroggystuff's youtube channel. Afterthoughts

Just a little haul today since I unfortunately didn't get a midweek Ibotta bonus. This is going to make finishing my big bonus a lot harder, especially since the weekend bonuses have been terrible lately. Unrelated to the haul - My profits from today went towards my plant addiction.
My store had a ton of those mini rose bushes. Time Spent

I spent around 10 minutes planning my haul while I brushed my cat before realizing I didn't have an IB bonus. So I stopped there. I was in the store for about 45 minutes, but a good 15 of that was seeing if there were any better roses. As usual, that time also includes my regular groceries, and I was walking SUPER slow today because the cart I picked out started screaming any time I walked at my usual pace after I got the first few things in the cart.
 

Food From Deals

Here's an idea: Mix up a white cheddar Mac a Roni, with your choice of ham, sausage, chicken, pork, or one of the vegan meat alternatives. Add a little soy sauce, and some green peas if you wish. You could even add some extra butter and milk (or plant based milk) to make it a bit creamier. Serve with a slice of buttered toast or some Jasmine Rice. Perhaps make a little Banana bread for dessert. (Note: Everything mentioned has Ibotta deals available.)

Yes, yes, the 'Bronx Honx' couple talking shit about everyone in the middle of the Walmart subsidiary that I tried to gently correct of their entitlement and general obnoxiousness here in Costa Rica. They reappeared on Saturday night at a party. We were at the home of a dear friend, a local musician celebrating his 72 birthday. I went to sit down and there she was, Mrs. Bronx Honx, sitting on the sofa like a puffed up malignant toad! Thankfully she did not recognize me, I don't know if it was because she's not observant unless she can gain something, or was because I had my hair in a bun at the store and wore it loose to my waist on Saturday night.
Tried to stay away from her but eventually she pigeon holed me into a corner and started to ask questions. What do you do for a living? Where do you live? and the most telling and disturbing What do you do with your time here because I have nothing to do and I'm ready to off myself! Over the course of the night I watched her working that party like the type A personality she is. Same questions to everyone!
Tried telling her that retirement in Costa Rica means literally doing whatever you want, working on your hobbies and interested, going to the beach to surf, swim or walk, reading, writing, etc, etc, or sometimes doing nothing but relaxing into the Pura Vida and she said to me "I have no interests and hobbies only medicine." She's a former medical professional.
Eventually she moved on to my husband, talking to him for several hours before declaring to the crowd that he was the most interesting and educated person in the room and a "super nice guy"! I rolled my eyes, he is horribly over educated and he is Midwestern polite, even to assholes.
Her husband appeared only at the very end of the party, I'd noticed him outside when I joined a few people out there to enjoy some devil's lettuce in the smoking circle. He didn't recognize me either, chatted me up very cheerfully. Not nearly so offensive as the Mrs.
Before we left the Mrs. wanted my phone number. We did the business card exchange, and I didn't tell her that my number is a US collector number that does not ring here. It takes a message and I don't always call folks back.
Last night, we're sitting at our usual spot on Sunday night listening to one of our favorite bands playing. Guess who tromps in? The Mr. and Mrs. They joined us uninvited even if we were already with friends. This time Mrs. grilling my best friend here and later we compared notes, with her coming to the same conclusion I did. I only talked to the Mr. and my husband.
Now they're saying how "happy" they are we're their friends and they'll see us around Tamarindo and know they have friends. Oh hell the naw to them crashing anything else.

Today is my second day at Walmart and I had to come in just to do Hourly Onboarding Academy but it won’t let me sign in! She told me I could come back later today but I live 45 minutes away so she threw me on the floor for like an hour had NO CLUE what I was doing. Now I’m back trying to login and it still won’t let me super frustrated.

Every night, since I was very young, I've heard a light tapping on my window. Just hard enough to wake me up, but it never took much for me to wake up. I've always been a pretty restless sleeper. Every night I would fall asleep, and every night around 1-1:30 I would wake up to the tapping. Tap… Tap… Tap… I would wake up, slowly turn to the window, then nothing. Complete and deafening silence. I never saw anything when I looked over to the window. Just darkness.
Occasionally I would attempt to ignore the tapping, but every time I tried that, the tapping would become more frequent and louder. If I wanted any sleep I had to look. So I would slowly turn, look at my window, and the tapping would stop.
Whenever I tried to talk to my mom about it, she would always chalk it up to a tree branch tapping my window at night. The tree was never really close enough to my window to hit it unless there was a particularly strong wind or maybe a storm.
I used to sleep over at my friend, Corbin`s, house nearly every weekend. We hung out almost every day when we were in first grade. He was my best friend. Every day we were at each other's house, playing in the seemingly neverending woods that surrounded our houses. Corbin only lived about a five-minute walk away from my house, so it was always very easy to see each other.
The first time I slept over at Corbins house, he said he never heard any tapping on his window, and there were no trees nearby. However, every time I slept over at his house, both he and I would hear the taps on his window. Tap… Tap… Tap… Both of us woke up, looked at each other, and then at the window, and the tapping would stop. We brought it up to Corbins parents as well, and they both said that it was just the house settling.
That made sense because Corbin lived in a 150-year-old farmhouse, so little creaks and taps weren`t super uncommon, but the sound of something tapping on a window was very strange to me. I now know that the tapping was neither a tree nor was it the old house settling.
One day, when Corbin and I were sleeping over at my house, we decided that we were going to set a camera outside in an attempt to see what branch was hitting my window. We begged and begged my mom to buy us a camera, and she finally gave in.
She took us to Walmart and bought us the cheapest camera that could record video that she could find. We brought it home and she helped us set it up and put it up in the tree facing my window. Despite our excitement, we understood that we needed to leave it be to not scare away anything that we might see.
After eating our normal meal of Dino Nuggets and baked french fries drowned in an obscene amount of ketchup, we went upstairs and went to bed. We were feeling as if we were trying to catch Santa Claus on Christmas Eve. As always, later that night we heard the tapping.
Unlike every other time though, we heard a huge amount of rustling, making us worry that maybe the wind had knocked the camera out of the tree. It was particularly windy that day. The taps that night were more aggressive than what they had been previously. They were more of a rhythmic thud against my window rather than a gentle tap.
Obviously startled by the new aggressive knocks, we woke up, turned towards the window, and the knocking stopped. We brushed it off and went back to bed. When we woke up the following morning, we were so excited to check the footage from the camera that we skipped breakfast and didn't even brush our teeth until later in the morning.
We woke up my mom, and she grumbled and groaned her way downstairs, threw her shoes on and we went outside. We went to the tree and noticed that the camera wasn't where we had set it the day before. It wasnt anywhere to be found. Instead in its place was a piece of paper that had a hand-drawn picture on it.
It was one little stick figure being hugged by a huge shadowy being. Underneath one of the stick figures were my initials as well as a heart underneath the big stick figure. The bottom of the paper said, “With Love, my child.” The paper also had a flash drive taped to the back.
We gave the paper to my mother and her face turned a ghost white. It looked like all the blood had drained from her face. She told us to get inside and that she needed to make a phone call. She called the police.
When they got there, they asked me a few questions. I can't remember what they asked, and really, they only talked to Corbin and me for a few minutes. I remember feeling guilty and scared when I saw my mother crying.
There's something especially terrifying when you see your parents cry. It makes things seem much more real and serious. But still as a five-year-old at the time, I couldn't understand the danger that presented itself that day.
All these years later, I finally know what was on that flash drive. It was filled with hundreds of videos of me, taken when the taps would happen in the middle of the night.
Hundreds of videos and pictures of me waking up. There was one file that was a little bit different. It was from the camera we lost that night. It was a video of my window, exactly where we had rested it so many years ago. When you skim through the video you see a hand slowly creep up and cover the lens of the camera. The hand was dirty. Like this person had been digging holes in the ground bare-handed. And then darkness.
I can`t remember much after that, or if any of the other strange events of my childhood have any connection to it, but if I remember anything else, I will update later. As of right now, it's time for me to go to bed. It's 12:57 and I don't want to miss my old friend.

Windows I apologize for the length, but for things to make sense, I have to tell my story in the most detailed way I can.
Every night, since I was very young, I've heard a light tapping on my window. Just hard enough to wake me up, but it never took much for me to wake up. I've always been a pretty restless sleeper. Every night I would fall asleep, and every night around 1-1:30 I would wake up to the tapping. Tap… Tap… Tap… I would wake up, slowly turn to the window, then nothing. Complete and deafening silence. I never saw anything when I looked over to the window. Just darkness.
Occasionally I would attempt to ignore the tapping, but every time I tried that, the tapping would become more frequent and louder. If I wanted any sleep I had to look. So I would slowly turn, look at my window, and the tapping would stop. Whenever I tried to talk to my mom about it, she would always chalk it up to a tree branch tapping my window at night. The tree was never really close enough to my window to hit it unless there was a particularly strong wind or maybe a storm.
I used to sleep over at my friend, Corbin`s, house nearly every weekend. We hung out almost every day when we were in first grade. He was my best friend. Every day we were at each other's house, playing in the seemingly neverending woods that surrounded our houses. Corbin only lived about a five-minute walk away from my house, so it was always very easy to see each other.

Happy launch week all! I just saw that Target has now shut off their online pre-orders, and since Walmart/Amazon have already stopped and were actually cancelling some orders it looks like stock will be tight. I work part time at a very large super Target, and our in stores copies are now showing as in transit.
When Mario Wonder launch last year Target pre-orders were not shut off in advance, and I remember that my store received around 250+ copies for launch. Checking TTYD Remake it is showing less than 25 copies incoming, so our in store launch allotment will be greater than 90% less compared to Mario Wonder. Obviously a mainstream title like Wonder will be more heavily stocked than TTYD Remake, but it looks like those interested would be best to jump on it quickly this Thursday. I know my Target pre-order is already showing as shipped, so hopefully all online orders show up timely. Best of luck to those searching for a copy this week!

hola , es mi primera vez escribiendo algo por reddit en general pero verdaderamente necesito ayuda, hace poco conoci a una chica , siempre la pasabamos jugando videojuegos y viendo peliculas o series, teniamos amigos en comun , todo bien hasta ahora la chica siempre me a tratado super lindo a tal punto de decirnos apodos como: my love , cariño, corazon, mi vida y mas apodos entre nosotras , nos deciamos cuantos nos queriamos y asi , el problema empieza cuando empiezo a enamorarme , soy una persona que se enamora facil por asi decirlo , no le dije por miedo a que se arruine la amistad preferi mantenerlo escondido , hasta desenamorarme , lastimosamente un dia las cosas fueron raras con esa chica y para esto yo y un amigo que sabe que me gusta habiamos comentado que nosotros sabiamos algo que ella no pero que no se lo contaria hasta el momento de sentirme lista , ella no sospechaba nada , bueno se puso rara un dia y no contestaba los mensajes y ni le llegaban y como soy una persona que sobrepiensa dije algo esta mal , entonces le pedi ayuda a este amigo y su conclusion fue que tal vez ella se habia molestado por que yo no le dije eso que habiamos mencionado entonces mi solucion fue decirle que me gustaba , al final ella solo me dijo que estaba bien y me marco diciendo que no tenia que cambiar nada entre nosotras y que queria continuar como siempre como si nada hubiera pasado , yo acepte , pero senti un vacio la verdad no esperaba que me correspondiera pero no queria que me dejara a medias saben? , tipo queria que me rechazara y no me diera esperanzas falsas pero al final solo son esperanzas falsas , ahora comienza mi verdadero problema hace poco conoci a un chico me cayo bien la verdad y un dia jugamos la chica que me gusta yo y el un juego ,hay se pidieron el dis y terminaron haciendose amigos , ahora ella es muy cariñosa con el y me siento olvidada y excluida , siento que con el si va a poder llegar a algo serio por que el si es hombre y yo mujer , aunque ella es bisexual , pero no se por que me da el presentimiento de que con el si va a llegar a algo serio , en fin en nuestro grupo de amigos tenemos un grupo de discord somos unos 5 pues en una llamada ellos quedaron en ponerse una foto compartida y a mi no me invitaron , tal vez este exagerando pero de verdad me senti mal , ahora ellos no me invitan a jugar ,ni a ver peliculas , incluso la chica que me gusta y el amigo hacen cosas que comparten como compartir foto de ws , no supe que hacer pero al final les dije que me tomaria un tiempo de redes por que me sentia mal , la verdad pienso en distanciarme o tal vez quedarme a su lado y sentir ese dolor solo por que le dije que no la abandonaria o me enojaria con ella . My optometrist recently recommended I use fish oil since I have dry eye. The Super C supplement I've taken for about 2 years now. I suppose what I'm really concerned about is too much vitamin A since fish oil supposedly contains it (though I don't see it on the bottle here) and the Super C also contains 450 mcg. I've had bad reactions before with vitamins, specifically magnesium causing bone pain, so I'm cautious. I also think I'm pretty sensitive to vitamins, since my PC Doctor wanted me to take 2,000 IU of vitamin D a day but it made me feel ill -- cutting that in half seemed to do the trick and now my vitamin D levels are great, as of my last physical a month ago.
Any advice appreciated. I could switch out either I suppose, though I'm keen to stay on the Super C since it is working for me.
