Looking to kayak the Delaware River and wanted to launch somewhere south of Easton and finish somewhere north of Trenton/Morrisville. I am used to kayaking the Schuylkill between Reading and Phoenixville so am used to some slow and low water levels. I traditionally do the "car shuffle" and thus do not paddle up river at any point so I can enjoy relaxing on my journey. I am looking to do the Upper Black Eddy Boat Launch to Byram Boat Launch across the river from Point Pleasant. A few questions:

• How much faster will the water flow be here than in the Schuylkill?
• It looks like this is 10 miles. Would this take around 4 hours with moderate paddling? It looks like most trips I take down the Schuylkill are between 6-10 miles on average and take anywhere from 2.5-4 hours ish on the water.
• Would it be worth it cut out approximately 3 miles of this trip and launch from the Kingwood Access Boat Launch? Would I be missing anything cool?
• Other advice or things to look out for on this trip?

Hi there! I was diagnosed with b-cell ALL back in 2020. Since then, I went through 2.5 years of intensive treatment, followed by a 5 year extended maintenance period (I still have 3 years left). I used to be on dasatnib, but because I was so consistently sick, they ended up changing me to Ponatinib. Even though I don't feel as sick as I did during my intensive treatment, Im still struggling with side effects from my chemo and I would say I'm still sick about 20-30% of my day at least (specifically in the morning). I've seen people post on here about how they've gone back to work full time while on a chemo pill, but I feel like that seems impossible for me (I tried to go back to work full time for seven months last year and just wasn't able to do it). Is anyone else out there struggling with the daily chemo pill during maintenance like I am? Sometimes I feel like I'm being a baby, but I also know that I went through some really intense shit. I guess I'm just feeling a little insecure and like maybe I'm not meeting my potential and should be doing more? My doctor doesn't think that I should be working as long as I'm on chemo, at least not full time, but I'm worried that maybe I'm taking it too easy, if that makes sense?

I have a Briard who got his "old man haircut" a month or two ago after a bout with septic pneumonia that left him with both sides shaved for chest tubes.
I've kept him in full coat his entire life and he's fantastic about being groomed. He'll stand like a statue or lay on his side and take a nap, whatever you ask him to.
We didn't want him totally nakey 🥺 so a friend who has poodles hand scissored him down to about 4" all over. Minus both sides of his ribs, which were shaved with a 40 at the vet hospital.
He's probably about 6" now and needs another trim... my poodle friend is going to be out of town for 10 weeks so we're going to have to go to a groomer.
First - is it reasonable for me, to reduce costs, tell the groomer I can bathe him and blow him out pin straight and fluffy right before he sees the groomer so all they have to do is scissor?
Is there anything I could say/do to reassure the groomer I am very capable of prepping him in an appropriate way?
I use Chris Christensen Miracle Repair shampoo and conditioner, and used CC After U Bathe Final Rinse Solution before he was scissored last time. Dry bone dry and pin straight with an HV dryer and an Ice on Ice pin brush.
Second - I live in northeast Ohio and am trying to brace myself for what the cost might look like to have him scissored to 3-4". I'd prefer a mobile groomer but can take him to a salon if need be.
The dog is really great about grooming... because of his age (almost 11) we tried to give him breaks throughout the initial scissoring process but he just kept getting back up on the table. He's still super fit, has no arthritis anywhere, and is as full of life as ever so that was a little surprising but not shocking. 🤷‍♀️ Point being - I think someone would be able to do the scissoring straight through without stopping.
His sides are only about an inch long due to the ER shave job (yes he looks silly LOL) so if it matters the trim excludes the bulk of his trunk and about half the underside of his neck.
Thoughts on how to discuss these things with a groomer? I feel like y'all probably hear a bunch of BS like this from pet owners, but I really feel like I have a good handle on my abilities and his behavior.

My girlfriend and I are moving in July, both working in the financial district, and after spending a few full days looking up different apartments, asking different companies for the additional fees, asking for video tours and looking at locations that also have availabilities around our move-in date, we have narrowed our search to the following apartments: Liberty Towers, Urby Jersey City, Urby Harrison, Warren at York, 225 Grand, 18 Park Street. We are looking only at one bedroom apartments for now; we might look at two bedroom apartments later on in our careers and/or stage of life.
So far, there are three categories of apartments.

1. Liberty Towers, Urby Jersey City. Fairly pricey, but they're close to the ferry and the PATH station; the ferry provides me an alternative way to travel to work if the PATH dies. Between these, Liberty is larger, Urby is smaller.

Liberty pros:
Larger for the same price. I don't know if the Urby 1b1b apartments are large enough, and unless we go for the $4145 apartments, they'll be smaller than our current dorm apartment. We could then actually set up a work area in this apartment, or store all of our excess bags.
Slightly better views than Urby; the available Urby apartments are north and/or west facing, whereas Liberty has east-facing apartments available.
Urby pros:
Community. We am currently fairly active in our current dorm community, and this is appealing to us. I hear they have 4-5 events per month? Though I don't know what events these tend to be.
Better maintenance. There seems to be much fewer complaints about the Urby maintenance, and better sound-proofing too.

Closer to Newport PATH?

1. Warren at York vs 225 Grand vs 18 Park Street

All three have fairly high Google reviews, seem to be better value for money, probably don't have the Liberty Towers elevator problem. However, views are worse than that of the first group. My feeling is that these are safe options, but not special. 225 Grand seems to have the largest apartments and is the cheapest of the three, though Warren at York is slightly closer. The views at all three apartment buildings aren't much to celebrate about. Otherwise, I don't know much about the different apartment buildings.
The 18 Park Street room has a terrace? I don't know if that means our neighbours can randomly walk up to our room...

1. Urby Harrison

For a slightly lower price than the other groups, we could look for a two-bedroom apartment in Harrison, and still meet other residents (though according to floor plans, the two-bedroom apartments are smaller than the Liberty Towers 1b apartments...). The problems are that it's in Harrison, which is a 30 minute PATH ride to work, and if the PATH is down, there's no way either of us are making it to work, or back home, whereas the other two groups, walking to the ferry is always an option. I have also heard that there is a lot of industry in Harrison, that not much happens there, and that the air quality is questionable, to say the least.
tl;dr, currently, I am weighing up between these groups, and then choosing an actual apartment. We do want to meet people in NJ/NYC, as we'll be starting work here, hence the appeal for Urby. While we could afford a $5k apartment, we would rather keep our budget to about $4k, unless it's truly worth it. We also have quite a few bags that we need to bring with us, and our current apartment is 670 sq feet, so it would feel bad to move to a smaller apartment after graduation. On the other hand, we've heard about the bad news about Liberty Towers. The second group seems to be ok, and 225 Grand apartments are certainly large enough, but the location is not quite as desirable, and the views aren't as great. What do you guys all suggest? Side notes : - With less games, results are less significant. Many character with 1 or 0 appearance. - Aleph is VERY less represented. It was Top 2 or 3 everytimes. - Abraxas/Yaz's duo is more and more played each TA. - Not so much Ragnar and Co, full mecha with X or Celestine spams (even if they exist). - Tanksmasha wasn't rework at this time. Maybe he will shine in the incoming Power-up TA ? - The poor Makhotep, who came to say hello before, was totally missing this time ! - Macer doesn't get a global %, but it's his first TA. It would be irrelevant.

My PC is shutting down while gaming. Some times it shuts down when I play games for hours and hours, and sometimes it doesn't shut down when I play games for hours and hours. This PC shutting down issue happens sometimes but not always, only during gaming, and I am really annoyed with this issue. Even after I fixed my CPU air cooler adjustment and repasted the thermal, the temperature still rise to 95° at 100% utilization, and during gaming at 65% utilization, it rise to 85°–90°. These are my specs. My GPU, XFX RX 6800, reaches a temperature of 85° to 89° when I play games for hours and hours, and my PSU is a Corsair CV750 750 Watt 80 Plus Bronze Certified Power Supply. My casing remains too hot, even when I don't play games only bro browse YouTube.

Paid for 4 nights at curry village canvas tent cabin for 1 double bed and 3 single beds through national park reservations (only found out after that it’s a legit but 3rd party site) for my friends and I. 1. Making her work. It’s because of this direction chosen for Tiana that this is most likely the reason why black women are expected to work harder and work more than any of their majority white counterparts!

1. Making racism one of her biggest conflicts! Black characters deserve their own storylines, arcs, and narratives That isn’t to do with their race! Storytellers Need to see us as people, not as our race!
