2024.05.21 16:24 ivaninozemtsev Got my first thinkpad recently!
For a while I've been only using corp laptops, but recently I've decided to buy a personal one. My previous personal laptop was 13" MBP bought in 2014, and I hope this one will also last around 10 years :) submitted by ivaninozemtsev to thinkpad [link] [comments] I chose Lenovo X1 2-in-1 Gen 9 14" and maxed out everything, so I've got OLED touch screen, 64Gb RAM and 2Tb SSD. For me the laptop size didn't really matter, but I've noticed that 16" laptops usually have some unneded buttons on a keyboard, like numpad, and also I thought that 2-in-1 form factor is nice to have for watching movies in bed/on a plane. I also didn't bother with dGPU, as I think I'll buy eGPU if/when I really need it. Installing the latest Ubuntu 24.04 in dual boot was reasonably straightforward: turn off BitLocker, disable Safe Boot, shrink Windows partition, create a USB boot stick, install. Just in case I kept Windows and ended up with 4 partitions: 250Gb Windows, 250Gb Linux, 500Gb shared NTFS partition, and 1Tb for Linux, but in a week I didn't really need to boot into Windows. Everything works reasonably well, there are just a couple of rough edges which I hope will be eventually fixed: sometimes I need to restart touchpad drivers after reboot (from this comment), and also I had to tweak wezterm commant (from this comment). The battery life isn't impressive, but isn't terrible either, enough for me to charge once a day with not very intensive use, so so far I'm very happy! https://preview.redd.it/frk9axxwgs1d1.jpg?width=2000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=815ef373765f9de68d0175025c855db107294805 |
2024.05.21 16:14 AtlantiumAI SUPERLIGHT Episode 9
SUPERLIGHT Episode 9 submitted by AtlantiumAI to u/AtlantiumAI [link] [comments] By Roc Hatfield https://preview.redd.it/mxfkcdznfs1d1.png?width=2912&format=png&auto=webp&s=968b039867f9d923a3af1d8764b4cef6e39d0f97 Aetherians of the New Empire are banned from ever returning to Aetheria or from joining into the One. The border net is a solid wall to non-authorized Aetherians, impenetrable. The Elo Eloahim passes through the net without a hitch. The Blade has now come to a full stop. The shuttle carrying Excelsior Andriel is docking with the Blade. Once the shuttle is cleared of occupants, it will return to the Elo Eloahim autonomously. Excelsior Andriel has made his way back to the bridge of the Blade and is admiring the border net through the giant viewer screens. I haven't been out here for many strands. Beautiful to look at. Send some technicals out to one of those nodes to have a look at it. I am sure it is manifest, but there must be a way to defeat it. I want to tear a hole in it, big enough to push the Blade through it, Andriel says. There is only one express elevator that drops down to the 17th floor. The operator must enter a series of codes as the elevator descends. The codes are changed frequently like a password. There are government secrets on 17 that can never be accessed by unauthorized personnel, says Steven as the elevator nears the bottom floor of the Pine Bluff underground base. The door opens and Nancy, Walter, Brad and the two techies spill out of the elevator to a large hall with long corridors running down each side. The footprint of the bottom floor covers about 120,000 square feet, about the size of a car factory or supersized retail store. We have all your gear in a lab down this hallway, says Steven. We are anxious to see your device at work, Oscar says. Hey, do you guys want to see something really cool? Steven asks. All three nod in unison. Great. Follow me, Steven says. The group walks down a hall and enters a lab, lots of tables, computers, not much to see really. Up on one table is a group of long plastic tubes, 12 inches in diameter, maybe 4 or 5 feet long. You can see mirrors at the end. Wow, this looks interesting, Walter says. You are looking at the real reason we went into Iraq. Saddam had this built from instructions found on ancient Sumerian clay tablets found near where Babylon once stood. They called it the Looking Glass. Our CIA guys heard about it and had photos and diagrams of it smuggled out of Iraq. We recreated it out at Area 51, Groom Lake actually. When they saw that it worked, the powers that be, Steven makes air quotes with his hands, decided to go in and get it. This is the real deal. The whole 9-11 scam was part of an elaborate plan to get this thing out of Iraq. That’s my opinion. Plus other sundry items. Walter, Nancy, and Brad are just stunned. Steven turns on a light source that bounces around from mirror to mirror and ends up at a large concave mirror, 15 inches in diameter. You can see faint moving images on the mirror's surface that look like old 8mm grainy film. It looks like rioting in the streets, store shelves empty, a stark apocalyptic scene. Large crowds gather around the U.S. Capitol building and the Vatican. Steven, where are these images coming from? Brad asks. From the future? Steven responds. No? Brad says. Yes, from the future. Steven says. Somehow, light being moved over all these mirrored surfaces breaks out a light that is streaming in from the future. Walter moves in closer. So are these images just random snippets? Or are they organized in some manner? Walter questions. The best we can tell is that they are like listening to an old AM radio at night. Stations from far away can drown out stations that are close by. Just sort of a jumble of music coming in and fading out. It seems that the images are from different points in the future. One may be 5 years out and the next 50 years away, Steven says. So, what is so important about it, Nancy asks? Think about it, Nancy, having advanced warning of coming events. Plus, many times we can see advanced technology. It's priceless, Oscar says as he reaches over and turns off the device. The one big drawback, however, is that, just us witnessing of these events will change them. It's a very tight loop. We have been shooting video from the big mirror. When we compare previously shot video from images from the look in glass, they are different. Some in subtle ways and others in major ways. Simply observing the future changes it. So we only keep it on for brief periods until we understand this phenomenon better, Steven concludes. Okay, let's get you guys settled into your lab. I am really looking forward to learning more about this superlight. Our world is amazing, isn't it? Steven says, Washington DC is spectacular at sundown. The lights from the monuments and government buildings make for dramatic and exciting backdrop for the world leaders and dignitaries that visit, as well as the everyday politicians that haunt the city. A group of high-powered cabinet secretaries and military bosses have sit down for an emergency meeting with the president. Gentlemen, greetings and thank you for coming up here to the White House on such short notice. I have been receiving phone calls and veiled threats from world leaders all day. Number one, what is all this fuss really all about? And secondly, what is going to be our stance in regards to this crazy technology, which I have heard very little about? Are we just going to take it from a private company and turn it over to all the governments of the world? The president asks out of breath, Mr. President, if I may, says Senator Abramson, who is seated on one of the two sofas just in front of the president's big resolute desk. I believe I was the first one to hear of this device. I heard from a doctor that works at the company, one of my constituents. He came to me frantic and told me many details about this device. He had the presence of mind to film an experiment he participated in, shot on his cell phone. I was so concerned about this horror show being in my district, I contacted the FBI director to look into it, for I thought it was a national security risk at the highest degree. The FBI director sent in a team with a warrant to seize any and all evidence related to the Superlight project. Brad Hillier, the company CEO, was one step ahead of us and had already moved all key components of the device and associated files and plans. We have no leads at the moment as too where he and members of his staff are hiding out. I would like to offer whatever assistance I can, being that this thing was created in my district. I would like to help if I can. Thank you, Senator. We can use all the help we can get. I want to thank you all again for coming up, and I would like to suggest that each of you consult with your respective departments and get me a letter that lays out your thoughts on how to proceed with this situation. Please give me something by the end of tomorrow. I will then be better informed on my decisions on how to deal with this issue. Thank you all for coming. All the attendants stand and stream out of the Oval Office. Ed Bramson hangs back. Mr. President, I had a deep black officer from the Space Force speak to my oversight committee, and she let it be known that she knew about Hilliard before any of this became public. I have no way of getting to her. But I thought you should know, she may have information regarding Hilliard. Very interesting, Senator. I will try looking under some rugs. But as you know, I have little authorization over deep black project sites or the people that run them. Please stay in contact, Senator. Atlan, the home world of the Aetherians, is the seat of the Old Dominion. The large planet sits just outside the massive black hole at the center of the Milky Way galaxy, in a large cluster of stars orbiting the event horizon. The light from all the nearby stars eliminate all darkness. Every planet in this cluster is lit every hour, all over the globe by multiple stars. Massive bright stars can be seen in every direction. Humans could not exist here, the heat and radiation would evaporate the water in a human body in seconds. But it's paradise to the Aetherians that dwell here. An indescribable garden, hundreds of millions of vast mansion homes with complex landscaping. There are over 100 planets inhabited by the Aetherians in this sector. One more beautiful and amazing as the next, Atlan is home to the One. The One walks these gardens from time to time, and abides in a mountain compound known as Shiloe Ahim. Ambassador Lucentel the hand of the One, is an Ark ancestor. He was with the One long before the Matterverse was spoken into existence. There are a small number of Ark ancestors, as many as 100 are known to live. The Akashe, the Ancient Hall of Records, holds records telling the story of the One and the Ark ancestors alone on Atlan. The Ark ancestors wanted a family and asked the One to enrich them with sons. The One said he would extract a small spark of himself and release it as a son for each Ark ancestor. Many years later, the Ark ancestors developed the ability to petition the One for new sons and daughters. The sons and daughters of the Ark ancestors are slightly less powerful than the Ark ancestors. Over billions of years, the eternal Aetherians have multiplied into trillions of beings and lower beings. The lower beings take the form of many exotic creatures that inhabit thousands of planets scattered across the Aetherians' Old Dominion. Atlan is standing by to receive us, Ambassador, announces the Commander on duty. Please dock and secure the Elo-Eloahim. I would like to travel down to Atlan as soon as possible. Brad, Nancy, and Walter have finished setting up the superlight in the big lab that Steven and Oscar gave them. Brad, you need to see the footage I shot of you while you were sleeping in the van. The interview I did with your driver, Zia, Nancy says. What? You interviewed my driver? Brad says surprised. Yes, when you were asleep in the van, Nancy says, as she is cutting up the video footage. Okay, here we go. Brad is watching the video, riveted by it. He turns it off. Well? Nancy asks. It's nice, I always wanted a daughter, Brad giggles. I am sorry this shit is so crazy that if I don't laugh, I would cry. We haven't peeled back even one layer of this onion yet, and it's already difficult to keep up with. When I came out here with Archer on his private plane, Captain Carpenter introduced me to her little grey alien friends. We flew aboard a small silver disc-shaped craft to their home base, that sits out around the rings of Saturn. Nancy looks right at Brad. Stop Brad, are you high right now?. Brad pauses, don't you remember at lunch, Captain Carpenter said I would bring you up to speed. Well, I am bringing you up to speed right now. Drivers, waterbots, now grey aliens and UFO discs, what's next? Nancy asks with indigence. Brad says, who knew a high-frequency light designed to see cracks in critical aircraft components and machinery would cause intergalactic turmoil. So as I was saying, my understanding is that the Superlight is a threat to a huge data collecting operation that these high freaks have been doing for eons. High freaks? Walter asks puzzled. Oh, that's just a name I gave them. They are the beings that inhabit the realm that we see with the Superlight. They function at a super high frequency of light. Their world is as real as ours, just operating at a higher frequency. Without the advent of the Superlight, we would never know that they are all around us and strewn all across the universe, Brad continues. The high freaks drive avatars or waterbots as Zia calls us, without our knowledge, so they can collect millions of terabytes from hundreds of telemetry points during the lifetime of the avatar. It seems that the traveler or waterbot is just a spacesuit, be it an advanced one for the high freaks, Brad concludes. So the superlight reveals this relationship to the travelers, and that is what they are concerned about. Follow the money. |

After the challenge, Topher and Scott are in first class, waiting for Sugar. Sugar finally shows up and says that she would’ve been here sooner had someone not barfed all over her, which Topher apologizes for. Scott then tells everyone to get down to business. Scott asks who they should try to eliminate, and Topher suggests Staci, as she’s a bigger threat than Cameron & that she’s also level-headed, something that most of everyone else is struggling with. Scott agrees with this, as he believes that it should be easy to convince Max to vote for her. Scott tells Topher to do this and adjourns the meeting. Max is walking around the plane, and Topher finds him in the dining cabin. Topher asks him to sit down, and Max does so. Topher then asks Max who he’s voting for, and Max says Sugar. Topher then asks if Max will forget what Staci had done to him in Niagara Falls, and for a moment, it looks as if Max is truly convinced. We then get a flashback of the things Staci has done to help Max, and in the confessional, Max rhetorically says that he can’t believe that he was that close to believing Topher’s lies. Back with Topher though, Max puts on a facade of agreement, telling Topher that he’s in. Over the P.A, Chris tells the contestants to go vote. At the elimination ceremony, Sugar & Staci are the last ones not safe. Sugar, Scott, & Topher look smug, and everyone else looks worried. When Chris announces a tie though, this shocks everyone. Scott angrily says to Topher that he thought Topher had it under control, and Max just realized that he forgot to ask Staci & Anne Maria to vote for Scott, making them all facepalm angrily. While this is going on, Chris is on the phone with the producers, who are hounding him. Sugar then confidently says that she can take down Staci in a tiebreaker, which gets Staci to notice that Chris is still on his phone. The contestants are now yelling at Chris to do his job, and when Chris gets off the phone, he explains that due to budget constraints, he has to eliminate both Sugar & Staci from the game. This pleases exactly no one, and Chris is barraged with angry shouts from all corners of the room. Sugar then asks how eliminating her helps the budget, and Chris cites added weight to the plane, more food needed, and simply admitting that he finds Sugar & Staci both annoying. Sugar firmly refuses to leave before Chris gets Chef to shove her out of the plane, prompting Staci to quickly jump out as well. In first class, Scott is pissed off at Topher. He mocks Topher, quoting how he said that everything was under control, and that only Staci would be eliminated. Scott says that the only reason that the alliance will still be a thing now is simply for self-preservation. In economy class, Cameron tells Dawn, Staci, & Max that to bring down Scott and Topher, they need to be on the same page, which Cameron apologizes for not making clearer before Staci was eliminated. Cameron & Dawn put their hands in the middle, with Max & Anne Maria doing so as well. In the confessional, Max states that Scott better watch out, as his days are numbered. In the cockpit, Chris asks some questions before signing off. After the credits, we see Sugar & Staci land on the Great Wall of China. Sugar laments about how unfair her elimination was, getting Staci to tell her to shut up, as Sugar has complained about it for the umpteenth time. Sadie then shows up and tells the bickering duo that they need to hurry up, as their flight departs in 5 hours. Staci says that she can’t wait to be back in Canada, and Sugar hopes that the hotel they’ll be staying at is nice. Sadie tells Staci that they won’t be back in Canada quite yet and tells Sugar that having a nice hotel should be the least of her worries. Sugar asks what this means, and Sadie replies with “you’ll see”, before they all walk off, and the screen cuts to black. African Lying Safari The episode begins in economy class, where Dawn & Cameron are cuddling each other, Anne Maria filing her nails, and Max looking pensive. A slightly worried Max lays out this hypothetical to Anne Maria – After Topher is eliminated, Scott gets immunity. In that case, who do you vote for? This is stumping Max, as he is cool with everyone here besides Scott. Anne Maria agrees, saying some tough choices would have to be made here. In first class, Topher tells Scott that with everyone else reuniting, it’s every man for himself, as their two votes won’t change anything. Scott agrees, and he tells Topher not to be surprised by any tricks he pulls. Once the plane lands, Chris welcomes them to Tanzania, home to the Serengeti Plains. Anne Maria arrives slightly late, as she topped off her pouf as they landed. Chris introduces the first challenge, which he named "Sock-et To Me." This challenge entails going over to a pile of plums, and grabbing as many as possible while dodging the soccer balls that will be kicked at you by contestants. Scott mocks the soccer balls, so Chris beans Scott with one, reveling in his yelp of pain. Topher goes up first, and he gracefully dodges all of the soccer balls, getting a giant pile of plums. Cameron is calculating where to kick the ball, and when he figures it out, the soccer ball hits Topher in the shins, making him fall & drop the plums. Cameron is up next and isn’t even able to get any plums before he’s knocked down by a speeding soccer ball from Topher. Max is now going and while he stays upright this time, he is only able to get half a dozen plums, as he dropped most of them. Scott is next, and while he hits Cameron with Dawn’s ball, he gets beaned in the head by Anne Maria & Max at the same time, making him drop his plums. Dawn goes, and nearly makes it, but trips over a ball kicked by Scott Anne Maria starts running, deflecting all the balls with her hair. She grabs some plums, doing the same thing as she runs back to where she started. Max is speechless at this, asking how Anne Maria made her hair do that, with her saying it’s a mix of having good hair, and good product. Anne Maria hands Max a mostly empty can, and in the confessional, Max is flabbergasted when Anne Maria’s hairspray offers a 72-hour hold. The plums are then used to smash through gourds, and whoever does so first wins an advantage. While Cameron accidentally hits Chef, Anne Maria barely puts a dent in her gourd, frustrating her. After a Chris induced miss, Scott perfectly strikes his gourd, getting six tranq balls & a slingshot for his troubles. Max strikes his gourd soon after, getting four & a slingshot. Topher hits his next getting three, Anne Maria strikes her gourd with her cricket bat, getting two, and since Dawn & Cameron couldn’t crack their gourd, they each get one ball, but no slingshot. Chris tells the couple that they’ll have to throw the tranq ball with enough force to pop it, and Cameron says that’s nearly impossible. Chris then announces that the tranq balls will be used to knock out the Max clone, who according to Chris, is “bigger and better”, as he’s been genetically mutated. The Max clone is even wilder now, with his tracksuit being half-torn, glowing green eyes, and no shoes. As Chris explains that whoever knocks out the Max clone gets invincibility, said clone is seen attacking an intern. Chris tells them to go, with Dawn & Cameron teaming up, and Anne Maria & Max doing the same thing. Topher offers to team up with Scott, but the Farm Boy rebuffs him. This ends up being a mistake however, as Topher has stolen Scott’s tranq balls. With Scott, he is walking about when he hears a rustling in a bush near him. He tells the clone to come out, but is instead met with a lion. Scott then goes into his back pocket, finding nothing. Scott tries to calm the beast down, but eventually runs away. Meanwhile, Max has finished setting traps all around the area. Anne Maria is skeptical about this, and Max asks “who in their right mind could resist a Mallowmar?” Dawn & Cameron are looking for the Max clone, and when the lion is behind Dawn, she asks if Cameron has recently brushed his teeth. Cameron asks why, and Dawn looks behind them, seeing the same lion that terrorized Scott. The two lovers run away, but Cameron gets caught in one of Max’s traps, making Max wince. Anne Maria gives Max an “I told you so” look, and Max offers to help get Cameron out. He asks if anyone has a knife, and at that moment, a baboon grabs Cameron, greatly angering Dawn. Dawn & Max promise to find something to free Cameron before running off. The girls and boys run into each other and, mistaking the others for their intended target, hit each other, knocking each other out with tranquilizing balls. Chris chooses this time to make the contestants sing, despite being still stunned. While being in their stunned state, the contestants sing “Wake Up”, which is about exactly what it sounds like. Chris then warns the contestants that they have about an hour to catch the Max clone before the plane leaves, ditching them. Chris offers to watch the action back at the jet, which Chef obliges to. Dawn runs off to save Cameron, saying that she can handle it, as her boyfriend will not become baboon food. Anne Maria & Max run to the right, while Topher & Scott both inadvertently go left. As Max & Anne Maria go right, they turn around, as they see footprints going left. With Dawn, she has made it up to the baboon den at the top of the tree, and Cameron tells Dawn to not make any sudden movements, as the baboon really likes him. Dawn tries to explain the situation to the baboon, but it gets defensive, holding Cameron tighter. This is too far for the Moonchild, who rips Cameron out of the baboon’s hands, then kicks it in the nuts. As Dawn & Cameron make it down the tree, the baboon is shrieking. Topher & Scott both see the Max clone from a distance, as they’re on a hill. Topher steps up to fire, but Scott shoots Topher before shoving him down the hill. Topher angrily shouts at Scott for this, and he then notices the Max clone, which is right next to him. Topher tries to plead with him, but the clone mercilessly & viciously beats up Topher, which Max & Scott are cringing at from the top of the hill. Scott tries to take advantage of this, but Max snipes him from behind before doing the same to the Max clone, winning Max the challenge & invincibility. Chris goes to announce this, but only Max & Anne Maria are listening, as Topher & Scott are in a sleeping heap with the clone, and Dawn & Cameron haven’t made it back yet. Vote for anyone besides Max, vote for someone to get immunity for the next episode, and feel free to come up with any plot points for the next episode. (Rapa-Phooey!) |

2024.05.21 15:53 Goliath-Yeeter-2263 Retro Review #25: Power Rangers Dino Fury: Season 2 Episode 1 - Numero Uno
Yeah, I know it’s been a minute and I’ve been super inconsistent since I started doing these again, but it’s because I was very busy with school. Since finals are all done now, I’m hoping to put more of these out. submitted by Goliath-Yeeter-2263 to powerrangers [link] [comments] The episode starts off in Pine Ridge where everything seems peaceful until a Sporix attacks. All of the sudden, Zayto starts hopping from roof to roof until striking the sporix. The other rangers minus Amelia show up as well and Javi finishes it with a Stego Fury Strike. The rangers demorph and grab the sporix. It also turns out that the rangers are trying to see how fast they can take to destroy a sporix beast. Amelia shows up and apologizes for being late. It turns out that she’s actually filling in for Jane who is on vacation so she has a lot of work on her plate. The rangers all go their separate ways, with Zayto and Aiyon taking the Sporix back to base. At Buzz Blast, Amelia is completely running the show. She gets a call from Jane who is in a hot air balloon with J-Borg. Jane asks if Amelia can run the office for a few more months since she wants to extend her vacation. Some boss you are, Jane. Amelia is glad for the offer, but her face shows she isn’t sure she can do it. At Dinohenge, Ollie is on the phone with his mom who is working in Japan. Zayto, Aiyon, and Solon are looking at a solar system in hopes of finding Rafkon. Ollie tells them that they may find an answer in library books about stars. Aiyon says that this “Lie Barry” person sounds shifty. Ok this made me laugh a bit. Ollie tells him it’s a building and gives him the address. At Area 62, Slyther wants to go into Void Knight’s secret room since he’s destroyed and can’t prevent him from going in. Mucus is about to slam a wrecking ball into the locked door. She rides on it and slams herself against the door turning her to slime. The door is also unharmed. A picture of Void Knight then pops up on the screens and he calls out for Mucus and Slyther, who are shocked he is still alive. Mucus calls him an imposter when a new Sporix Beast named Bitscream comes out of the computer. Void Knight says his plan requires something from the rangers. At the library, Aiyon who is holding a ton of books on astronomy is walking out with Javi and Izzy and he asks them if they wanna help. Izzy turns it down since her astronomy test is next week. I’m sorry, who the heck takes astronomy in high school? Seriously I haven’t met a single person who did. Izzy’s phone rings with the exact same ringtone as my grandmother. It’s Fern! She picks it up but can’t hear anything due to what seems to be a jammed signal. Her phone becomes all pixelated and Bitscream pops out of it. The three rangers morph. Aiyon takes a hard hit. They keep fighting the sporix. They use a bunch of power ups and get very close to finishing him, but he ends up teleporting away. Aiyon finds his books all dirty near a destroyed flower shop. The owner sees his destroyed flower cart and cries very realistically. He begs the rangers to fix it and Javi uses a power up to do so. There’s something off about the owner though. Bitstream then pops out of a security camera and grabs Javi’s Fix-It Dino Key and leaves. At the base, Amelia is upset that Buzz Blast’s servers are down. The rangers are also curious why the villains needed their fix it key. Zayto highlights that they can’t even use it without a Chromofury saber. They even have Void Knight’s saber in the base. Javi points out that Void Knight could still be alive, as he’s usually the one that gives orders to them. The rangers plan to investigate. They plan to find security footage of Bitscreem. Amelia then finds out Buzz Blast’s backup server is down too, and has to leave base to go there. The rangers find the footage and also see the flower shop owner turn into Slyther. Mucus and Bitscreem go to him and bow down to someone on a tablet, who is likely Void Knight. As Izzy is about to leave to tell Amelia, she sees a familiar pixelation on the computer. She tells the rangers they should try to destroy Void Knight’s Saber before anyone can use a key with it. Bitscreem who is spying from inside the computer is worried that the rangers will go through with it, as Void Knight needs his saber. Aiyon is hesitant but Izzy says it’s ok. She quickly closes and covers up the computer. The rangers get confused by Zayto realizes someone was likely listening to them. Izzy tells them what’s happening and they realize everything Izzy said is only bait to lure out Void Knight. Back at Area 62, the villains are coming up with a plan to get the saber back. Outside Dinohenge, the rangers set up dynamite to destroy the saber. Amelia is hesitant to believe Void Knight is still alive, but leaves to take a call. The rangers all begin going over the plan in a scripted manner. Amelia takes charge and tells the rangers to hide. She gets another call and picks it up. Slyther and Mucus show up and Bitscreem starts listening to Amelia. He pops out of her phone and grabs Void Knight’s Saber and teleports away. Javi is mad at Amelia and she says she had to take a call. The rangers now don’t know if Void Knight is alive. The villains confront them and the rangers morph up. Mucus and Slyther leave and Bitscreem teases the rangers saying they’ll never find him. Zayto tells Solon to send the T-Rex and Cosmic Combo Raptor Zords. He forms the T-Rex Cosmic Megazord. Zayto uses Cosmic Gateway to enter the computer to face off against Bitscreem. He blasts him but finds out Bitscreem can reboot himself. Zayto uses the Cosmic Gateway Strike to finish him and destroys him, even though it was just established he can reboot himself. What? At Area 62, an unmorphed Void Knight has his Saber back, who is happy to have his powers back. He grabs his helmet and tells his comatose wife that the wait is nearly over. The rangers are examining the computer until it suddenly explodes. The Sporix comes out, but Void Knight comes in to grab it and leaves. At Buzz Blast, Amelia apologizes to the other rangers and confesses that she has to choose one responsibility, between being a ranger and running Buzz Blast. She calls Jane who is just waking in to tell her she needs to step down. Jane gets her attention from behind to Amelia’s surprise. Her and J-Borg start talking about their trip and how their hot air balloon was destroyed by a volcanic eruption. Their footage inside their camera bag then turns to dust from the heat of the eruption. They walk away and Amelia tells them it’s good to have them back. Zayto says it’s good to have Amelia back too. The episode ends there. Yeah this episode was kind of so so. It’s the first episode of the season, yet a lot of it felt very fillery. There was really nothing new to come out of this. We know Void Knight was still alive because of the finale of season 1. Not much else went on. Bitscreem was a solid monster of the week though and he actually gave the rangers a hard time. I also thought the Megazord fight was pretty cool, even though Bitscreem’s rebooting ability got retconned like 5 seconds after it was established. I don’t know, I really don’t think highly of this episode. There should’ve been more that went on, especially since this is a season premiere. This episode’s rating, is a 4/10. |

2024.05.21 15:49 Brian23hammond MYP Black Review 800 Miles
Hey Y’all! Just wanted to share some thoughts on my experience after 800 miles of driving. For starters, I BURN through the battery 😂. This car has been by far the most fun and enjoyable experience. If I’m in a mood, I can turn onAuto-Pilott and relax, if I have a lead foot (pretty much every day) then I stomp on it and I get all the adrenaline I need at over 33 years old lol. If you want the white interior, do it! I have a 5 and 7 year old and baby wipes pretty much take anything and everything off of them. It just hitsdifferentlyt when you open the door. The simplicity has been a big one for me. I drove a friend’s 2023 BMW X5 and it had SOOOOO many buttons everywhere. It just felt like too much after having practically no buttons in my MYP. submitted by Brian23hammond to TeslaModelY [link] [comments] Usually, when I buy a new car I start looking at all the things I would go ahead and swap out (wheels, intake, exhaust, and so on) which ends up running very high in costs. Here I did tint, smoked film for headlights, taillights, and all signals, tissue holder, trash can for the back seat, center console trays, and black badge colors. In the end, it was well under a grand to do all of that. I got used to the regen braking within 24 hours and now have used the brakes maybe 5-10 times over those 800 miles! The brakes will not need to be replaced for a long time. Stereo is by far the best I’ve experienced personally. Not to say there isn’t something better out there but from what I’ve seen in person, nothing compares. Makes for great morning drives dropping the girls off for school, it’s like a concert in my car and everyone is singing! lol. Having your own driver profile is also quite awesome. My fiance just gets in the car and EVERYTHING changes to her settings, mirrors, Spotify account, seat/wheel and even driving preferences (chill acceleration) lol. I choose the MYP simply because it’s just my daily driver and daily is never more than 20-30 miles and I work from home so some days it doesn’t even get driven. I also have a two car garage and had the 240 outlet put in by a friend. If I didn’t have that I could see how charging could get annoying. I used a Tesla supercharger two days ago while I was in the mall and it was pretty neat. It’s funny because I found it to be expensive at $13 for 28 minutes of charging and then I remembered what I pay at gas stations….it’s still much cheaper lol. I’m just getting spoiled with charging at night when I’m home. I don’t know what else to say other than, if you’re indecisive about pulling the trigger and you already know you can afford it, then go for it! Are there a few catches with that, of course! I still feel we’ll always need a gas car and could never do two EV’s as a family. I do think you need at home charging for charging to not become annoying. I don’t have spare time to just go sit at a Tesla charger. But those are about it for me. I will give you the one hiccup I had since owning it. This was my fault btw, lol. So, on pick up day, I got it around 10am and came straight home to work. About 2:00pm I leave for the gym and as I’m leaving the drive way, the car asked if I wanted to schedule an update for 2:00 am that night, so I selected yes! I get to gym and my Tesla app tells me that the update will take 25 minutes and I will easily be in the gym for 45 minutes plus. So my dumb**s selects update because I’m obviously impatient. I get out to the car after working out and my screen says the update is at 10%. I call service and they couldn’t do anything over the air and the conclusion is that I need to get it towed to a service center and it’s a Friday!! I get picked up and head home extremely upset of course. I get back on the phone with service to schedule a tow truck and as we’re on the phone the agent tells me to check my app and see if it shows it in update still and to my surprise it wasn’t! Long story short, don’t try and update your car unless it’s at home and connected to your WiFi. The update was to add my free 3 month FSD, so it was a massive update. I haven’t used FSD too much because I love driving the car so much but it’s pretty damn impressive! Everyone who rides with me is blown away by its capabilities. Anyways, I got my review out and I figured it was the perfect place. Also, I leased because I want to buy the refresh in 3 years when I turn this in. https://preview.redd.it/es0lu6zwas1d1.png?width=1205&format=png&auto=webp&s=a501d5b08837377a5a1c63c8d7f4eb9f5f9a5990 https://preview.redd.it/ebnvf4qxas1d1.jpg?width=1160&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d9cc77055edd4a90b44ad5181a8977b6376f6524 |

SMITH'S OFFICE Said. March 25, 2024. A White Hat officer’s wife was found dead last Thursday in the couple’s idling vehicle in the garage attached to their Fayetteville, North Carolina, home, a source in General Eric M. Smith’s office told Real Raw News. At approximately 6:00 p.m., the husband—sources are not presently sharing names—returned home from nearby Fort Liberty, formerly Fort Bragg, where he had been at work since 7:30 a.m.—and found his wife’s limp body slumped over the steering wheel in her older model Camaro. The doors and windows were closed but unlocked, and the engine was hot, as though it had been running for a significant amount of time. According to an incident report, the officer pulled his wife’s body from the vehicle and began administering CPR, pausing only long enough to dial emergency services at Fort Liberty, a few miles from their residence. The answering party informed him that since he lived off-post, protocol mandated he call Fayetteville EMS, which had speedier response times. The officer gave an authorization code that made the answering party change her tune. She instructed the officer to continue CPR until Fort Liberty EMS arrived on the scene, which they did with miraculous speed—a response time of only seven minutes. EMS checked the wife’s vitals—she had none—and rushed to Womack Army Medical Center with the grieving officer riding in the back of the ambulance and clasping his wife’s pallid palm. She was pronounced dead on arrival, speculatively of carbon monoxide poisoning, with a toxicologic panel still pending. Our source said that White Hats in the Army Criminal Investigation Division (CID) are, for several reasons, treating the wife’s death as suspicious, though they almost immediately cleared the husband as a potential person of interest. “She was a fit 33-year-old woman with no history of mental illness. Accidental carbon monoxide poisoning is extremely rare. They had no history or marital issues outside the ordinary. And he was on base at her time of death,” our source said. The investigators who performed forensics on the car uncovered what they called evidence of foul play. For example, the driver’s side door handle had only one set of prints—the husband’s, for he had opened the handle to pull her from the driver’s seat. They had expected to also find her prints on the handle, the center console, and other surfaces, but the only prints belonging to the wife were lifted from the steering wheel. They found no anomalous hairs or fibers other than hers and her husband’s. The decedent’s body, our source said, had no indicators of a struggle having taken place—no bruises or lacerations. And neither the couple’s home nor garage showed signs of forced entry. Besides those factors, investigators had a more compelling reason to suspect dirty deeds had taken place: the husband had been involved in undercover White Hat operations and may have become known to the Deep State. Our source would not elaborate on what the husband’s duties entailed. “These nefarious types aren’t above assassinating family members, so that’s obviously a concern. The guy says there’s no way in hell his wife would’ve offed herself. We’re still waiting for the tox screen and other tests.” Asked whether the couple’s home had surveillance such as a Ring doorbell or interior cameras, he said, “Some things we can’t share right now, but CID is thorough and will get to the bottom of what happened.” Note: I should receive word from GITMO on Garland’s tribunal this afternoon, and I will cobble together an article immediately after. |

TRUMP and the INNOCENT PROTESTORS who VISITED the CAPITAL PEACEFULLY on JANUARY 6. March 26, 2024. The United States Navy Judge Advocates General’s Corps on Friday began but did not conclude the tribunal of Attorney General Merrick Garland, whom the Office of Military Commissions has charged with treason for weaponizing the Justice Department against President Donald J. Trump and the innocent protesters who visited the Capitol peacefully on January 6. As reported previously, U.S. Special Forces arrested Garland on January 28 in Maryland, following his return to the U.S. from Poland, where he had been cowering and remotely directing the DOJ, hoping patriotic justice wouldn’t chase him overseas. As has been the case with myriad Deep Staters, Garland felt an uncontrollable urge to return to the roost, Washington D.C., and dropped his guard just long enough for White Hats to scoop him up. Once captured, the weaselly man who had often stoically insisted his Justice Department was impartial and equitable, devoid of bias, regressed into a heap of sniveling flesh, bewailing his predicament and asking Jesus to “please kill Donald Trump,” an odd request considering Garland is Jewish. Garland’s lawless rule led to the wrongful incarceration of numerous patriots, but he couldn’t stomach five minutes behind bars. In pretrial confinement at Camp Delta, Garland had proclaimed his innocence, screaming, “Let me out of here,” while insisting he had only ever enforced the letter of the law, crossed every ‘t,’ and dotted every ‘I.” JAG, however, contended that Garland bent the law to fit the Deep State’s sinister agenda and, when necessary, invented new rules aimed at eroding the Constitution and depriving citizens of their rights and freedoms. Garland had naturally refuted that allegation during an early interview. According to Garland, he had claimed he was simply an appointed official tasked with punishing felons, among them the J6ers and President Trump. Vice Admiral Darse E. Crandall’s opening statement at Friday’s tribunal painted Garland not as an administration lackey but a puppet master who pulled Biden’s strings. He contended that while a reclusive Biden hid in his basement, Garland, Antony Blinken, Alejandro Mayorkas, and the late Lloyd Austin steered the nation toward destruction. Garland, who had chosen to represent himself, was handcuffed to the defense table and peering over his eyeglasses as the admiral informed the 3-officer panel that JAG wanted Garland to hang for his crimes against America and its people. JAG had advised detainee Garland to display proper courtroom decorum; unruly outbursts would be met with a swift, harsh rebuke. His opening remarks were succinct: “I am innocent of all charges. President Joseph R. Biden appointed me as Attorney General of the United States. I dispassionately applied equal justice to all and shall be vindicated.” Admiral Crandall argued that Biden’s naming of Garland attorney general in March 2021 was merely ceremonial and that corporate entities and foreign dignitaries vetted him for the role as early as January 4, 2021. He called his first witness, President of the European Council and Bilderberg member Charles Michel, to the stand. Real Raw News learned Monday that JAG arrested Michel on espionage charges on February 5. He had agreed to testify at Garland and other Deep Staters’ tribunals in exchange for a 25-year prison sentence. We have no information on his arrest and situation beyond what is described in the rest of this article. Michel supplied his backstory and academic and work history and identified the defendant by pointing at him. “Mr. Michel, you’ve met detainee Garland before today, haven’t you?” the admiral queried. Michel nodded. “Only once.” Garland straightened in his seat as if an electric charge had passed through him. “This is a set-up; I swear I’ve never met this man in my entire life.” “Detainee Garland, we’ve discussed this. You can redress the witness once I’m finished,” the admiral said. “Now, Mr. Michel, how and when did you meet the defendant, and what were the circumstances of the meeting.” “I met Merrick at his house in Maryland to inform him he would likely be the next Attorney General in the United States,” Michel said. “I’m an educated man, Mr. Michel, but this confounds me, so correct me if I’m wrong. You’re a Belgian citizen. What in the world would give you authority to promise detainee Garland anything?” Admiral Crandall asked. “I was more a messenger,” Michel replied. ‘Deliver whose message?” the admiral asked. “Who told you to speak to the defendant?” “I was told on a video call with a man who looked very much like Barack Obama and Jean-Pierre Lacroix,” Michel replied. Lacroix, a French national, is the under-secretary-general for Peace Operations for the United Nations. “At the same time?” said Admiral Crandall. “If you mean, were we all on the call simultaneously, the answer is yes,” Michel said. “Why did you qualify your mention of Obama with ‘looked very much like’?” Admiral Crandall probed. Michel shrugged. “As I understand things now, based on rumor and innuendo, not any real proof I’ve seen, Barack Obama might have been dead long before that call, and the person perhaps pretending to be him was just some man in a mask. I know there’s a man running around pretending to be me, so why not him, Obama, too.” “And now, in retrospect, do you not have the same concerns about Lacroix?” the admiral continued. “Him I’d met before, entirely unrelated. It was the real Lacroix,” Michel said. The admiral reached for a pitcher of water and poured a glass. “Why Garland? Was there an impetus for wanting him to be Attorney General over anyone else?” “Because he had the credentials and already hated Donald Trump and Trump’s supporters and political allies. He was the perfect choice. Trump and his people represented a disturbance, you see, a schism in the order of things. Merrick was told he’d be appointed prior to our meeting’; my job was seeing him face to face, getting a read on him, and making sure he understood that Trump was to be put in jail, made ineffective, or even killed,” Michel said. “You tell an illuminating story, Mr. Michel, in which shadowy foreign figures influence presidential appointments and dictate U.S. policy. It’s all cloak-and-dagger. Besides your word, have you any proof to substantiate your claim?” the admiral said. “The only physical proof I had is what you already have,” Michel responded. “Then let’s take a look,” said the admiral. On a large screen he broadcast a recording of Michel’s video call with Obama and Lacroix, whose faces appeared side by side. Obama did most of the talking. “Mr. Michel, Merrick Garland will be expecting your visit. He understands you are our emissary. We expect you to reiterate our message to him: once confirmed by the Senate, he will use the full weight of the Justice Department to hunt down every insurrectionist at the Capitol. And with the FBI at his disposal, he can once and for all deal with Donald Trump and his family,” Obama enunciated each word slowly. “And, Monsieur Michel, you report back, let us know if he has trepidations,” Lacroix said. “We do not expect that to be a problem,” Obama said. “I understand completely,” Michel said in response. The admiral faced the panel. “Army Cyber Command evaluated the clip. They say they’re 98% certain the voice is Obama’s, but only 76% the face is really his. But whether or not that’s the real Obama and Lacroix is largely irrelevant. What’s important is whether the defendant agreed to this unnatural union of forces determined to weaponize the DOJ for political gain.” He continued: “Mr. Michel, what did you personally tell detainee Garland, and what was his response.” “I told him that both Obama and Biden wanted him as long as he pledged to eliminate Trump. And he told me he planned to do that anyway, that getting rid of Trump and his MAGA would be his capstone achievement,” Michel said. “Was there any concern, Mr. Michel, among you and your associates that he wouldn’t pass muster. I mean, a president appoints, but the Senate confirms.” Michel waved his hand dismissively. “Confirmation was a formality. The result was never in doubt, Admiral Crandall.” Michel wore a sinister grin. “No further questions at this time,” the admiral said. “Detainee Garland, you may cross Mr. Michel.” Garland cleared his throat. “I’d like to approach the witness.” “Mr. Michel can hear you just fine from where you’re sitting,” the admiral retorted. Garland said, “You claim we met at my house. You’re a liar. I’ve never seen you before today.” “The detainee will not badger or antagonize the witness,” the admiral chimed in. “Consider this your first and final warning, detainee Garland.” “If, as you claim, we had this imaginary meeting. Where in my house did we meet? Can you describe my home’s interior?” “Merrick. Remember, when we met, you asked me to call you Merrick, not Mr. Garland. I only saw a hallway and your sitting room. I sat on a burgundy sofa facing a bay window overlooking a dead garden. You were at a desk, oak, if I recall correctly. You were proud of it and said it belonged to your father. Behind you was a bookcase that stretched from wall to wall and floor to ceiling. You grinned at hearing you would have unilateral control of all domestic matters of justice,” Michel said. Garland appeared uneasy, wobbling on his feet. “Thi..this is entrapment. You rehearsed this. You, Admiral Crandall, or your people must have raided my house and told this man, whom I’ve never met, what was inside. I’d like a recess and access to a law library please.” “Well, I’ll grant you that request, detainee Garland, and see you get the books delivered to your cell. This tribunal will resume at 0900 on Monday morning.” The admiral ordered MPs to escort Garland to his cell and instructed the panelists to not discuss the case among themselves or with anyone else without his explicit instructions. I am expecting to receive notes on Monday’s proceedings this evening. |
