Hi, I just got done with my college and I’m home for vacations. When I was in my early 20s, I was living with my nmom and had a toddler. I really wanted to go to school online and better our lives. I had a talk with my mom and she told me how great of an idea that was! We talked about what I wanted to go to school for. It was such a good conversation.
She told me that if I got everything set up for school and get the grants that I needed that she would buy me a laptop that I could use. I was so excited. It seemed like she was excited too! I thought this was the start of my life becoming better. I was so ready!
I got everything set up. My dad even helped me and was excited because I was going to the same online college as he was at the time. We even went out to a nice dinner and he congratulated me for making this decision to change my life.
I told her everything was set up. I was going to start soon and needed the laptop. She was a little cold. Didn't really say much at all. I wasn't sure what was going on but I just left her alone after that.
My classes were set to start in two weeks. She came home one day with a laptop box in hand. I was so happy. She pulls the laptop out of the box right infront of me. It was even my favorite color, red! I couldn't believe it! She sees how excited I am, and I ask her if that's mine. She looks at me and smiles. She holds it up and points to it. She says this is my computer. Her face is now contorted into a demon smile and says, don't you fucking touch it.
I just sat there. I can remember my toddler playing with his toys off in the distance making noises, while my mother laughs. Why did I once again fall for that? Was she angry because my dad helped me get things set up? I don't even think I said anything to her. I just was in shock I guess. I knew I was screwed.
I tried using my friends tablet and that didn't work. I couldn't take my toddler to the library and I didn't have a babysitter or a job. I was fucked. I was so young and literally didn't know jack shit about anything. She knew that. She wanted that.
She never fucking once used that laptop. I am not kidding you. It sat on her computer desk out in the living room where it probably still sits today.
She has made it her life's mission for me to fail. That is not her first or last thing she's done to see it happen either. Just the one thing im stuck on right now.
For what? That's the question that runs through my mind all the time. She claims to have had a horrible childhood. Her mother was so terrible. For me, going through what I did has taught me how not to be a mother.

I have checked with the moderator before posting this, everything here is deliberately vague so it's not a form of promotion of my services.
Background
I was diagnosed at the age of 32 in 2014. After some initial improvement from medication, about three years, things just reverted to hopeless and a lot of the bad of ADHD somewhat turned my life upside down. I was in pretty poor shape from late 2018 until 2023.
Anyhow, I am Irish, but now living in Barcelona since late 2022. One big upside to that move was it's so much easier to get help here. Proper help from serious Adult ADHD specialists, and no real waiting lists to see them. I am now doing very well and have been for months, it feels very different living with ADHD now than ever before under their care.
I really feel for you guys back in Ireland, I really had such an underwhelming experience of getting help for almost decade before I emigrated, despite multiple attempts to seek it. I ended up in Barcelona over-medicated, fed up and at a total stage of denial about ADHD after giving up on it ever getting any better.
ADHD Coaching
As part of the new approach to my treatment, I was sent to an ADHD Coach by a psychiatrist, who was quite dismayed with how I presented to him considering I'd be diagnosed for a decade and apparently "treated".
I was so impressed and improved by Coaching, on top of my medication, of which I'm now taking less than before and doing much better, I decided to leave my 20+ successful and senior career in tech behind me and trained to become a coach myself.
So, I have left my job and have been working for many months full-time to reach where I am at now. I will also be offering Business Training and Consultancy on how employers can deal with ADHD in the workplace.
Coaching offer
So, after committing to this career path, I've reached the end of the formal learning part of an CPD accredited ADHD Coaching course. At this time, I am required to submit a video of a coaching session to go along with my test.
Rather than fake this somehow, I am willing to offer two people here ADHD Coaching, of four sessions, at no cost. To note, I have been doing practice coaching calls for a couple of months, but I want to do something more aligned with a real-world use-case.
There is a purpose to the four week period as one session is not enough to make any progress but it is enough to dig into at least one challenge in a comprehensive way. I can't commit to a full up to 10-12 week engagement at no cost though. That said, I will only require one of the four sessions from each person to be recorded, the other three do not have to be.
The sessions will be conducted online, at one week intervals and be one hour in length each.
Coaching focus
I am particularly interested in working with adults in the workforce, entrepreneurs and managers who are struggling to find their way with ADHD.
This is closest aligned with my own experience and interest. However, my only real "rule" is, even though I could and have trained to, I do not feel comfortable or could work with anyone under the age of 18 and will not be offering any services here in future.
With that in mind, while I will consider anyone over the age of 18, I may feel I need prioritise my focus area over first-come-first-served, if multiple people do reach out. I hope you can understand.

First time posting, please excuse potential errors with names or tags since english is not my first language. I hope that someone can help me. My desktio PC is running Windows 10 and lately an issue started occuring. Whenever I try to open the Start Menu it opens for a moment before closing again without giving me the chance to select anything. It does not matter if I click something or not. It just appears to crash. Perhaps it's also worth mentioning that I can access and use the start menu when I do a right click on it.

This is relatively recent so I'll tell the story while I have it in mind.
A few weeks ago I agreed to join an online game (which from experience is always a gamble) and we were getting ready to have our first game. This worked fine for me because I was just going to get home from a long road trip by then. Now despite the fact I was on the road I agreed to a call while I was on said trip and even explained that I was on the road at the time. I thought everything went well. I had a character concept ready and just needed the backstory sent.
However, during the last day of the roadtrip I was on I had no signal so I could not read or see anything sent to me. I know the GM is aware I'm on a trip so I didn't worry. When I did have signal I got links to join the game(which was starting two days earlier then I was informed) so I joined and sent a very rough backstory and clarified I'd update it once I got home. So when I get home and finally get ready to send my stuff I see a message from the GM.
I open said message that claims I'm childish, immature, and self absorbed for not talking for four days. I respond rather confused and tell them I had only just got home and was getting ready to send the completed backstory. I then got blocked by the GM and kicked from the game before I could even ask why they got the idea I wasn't talking over four days. It was kind of disorienting going from being on seemingly good terms to being insulted and kicked out.
Now if I wasn't talking enough without cause or not responding at all I'd understand being kicked. But I had a reason which was communicated and explained prior so safe to say I was surprised. I'm just glad I dodged a bullet because that came out of nowhere. The sad part is a genuinely wanted to play and was excited for it.

Flocks of harpies are crowing prophecies of doom; wizards are slinging fireballs; trolls aren’t just having peaceful chats about tunneling technology anymore; there are demons in the werewolf dive bar; and something is up with the ley lines. Sometimes it feels like you’re the only one standing between the supernatural factions and a city in flames.
On the other hand, some factions are willing to cut a deal on the side, so if you really want the city to be in flames - and if you feel like that civil-servant paycheck isn’t stretching as far as you’d like - you could make that happen. Every faction knows that you could be useful to them.
How will you handle it? Will you sneak, fight, negotiate, confuse, or just whip out some obscure county regulations? There’s always more paperwork to be done, and if you fall too far behind, your boss might call you in for a chat about your monthly metrics. (Also, your boss might be a constellation. Don’t ask.)

Dear,
I am looking into Odoo as an ERP-system for my business. Currently I have a wordpress-website with a plugin so customers can book slots in my Google Agenda.
I do not want to create a new Odoo-website for multiple reasons, but I do want the appointments to trigger certain actions in Odoo:

• Create new CRM-lead with the information the potential customers provides in the booking form
• Send an e-mail with the booking confirmation
• Block a slot in my agenda linking to the customer information
• ... etc

Is it possible to create a landing page containing a booking form with Odoo which I can link to via my wordpress website ?
I don't seem to find a lot of info online... Can someone provide more info on this topic ?

Greetings, people of Reddit, this is my first post in this community and on Reddit as a whole. I would like you to read about my original sentai
Yojutsu Sentai Obakeranger (Yokai arts squad ghost Rangers) Motif: Yokais, Sorcereexorcists, magic It is inspired by animes such as Shaman king Yokai Watch Jujutsu Kaisen and the concept of Onmyodo (Japanese escoteric magic), among other things.
The story revolves around a young man who, upon arriving in a new city, discovers that it is haunted by terrible spirits known as Onryo but the city is defended by yojutsu shamans. Soon after saving the life of a Nekomata (cat yokai) he awakens his yokai power and becomes Obake Red, joining the team and beginning his journey to become a shaman.
The rangers are:
Obake Red: a young man obsessed with the supernatural and the occult and even though he doesn't have shaman blood he can use yojutsu techniques, this is one of the mysteries of the series His element is fire and his yokai partner is a Nekomata (Two-Tailed Cat)
Obake blue: A serious young man and strategist and was the former leader before Red's arrival and because of this, a rivalry ends up being created between the two, he wants to honor his clan of shamans at all costs. His element is wood and his yokai partner is a tengu (raven man)
Obake yellow: The youngest on the team. Imperative and playful but he hates when people treats him like a child, his element is earth and his yokai partner is a Tsuchinoko (snake yokai)
Obake Black: Before being called by her family to be a shaman she was a sukeban (juvenile delinquent) gang leader she is the typical tomboy and doesn't like too much feminine things she is tough but deep down she has a soft heart Her element is water and her yokai partner is a kappa
Obake White: She didn't really want to be a shaman, she actually wanted to follow her dream of being a "cosplayer idol" but her family repressed her, but among her teammates she can be herself and that's why she appears almost always with a new cosplay when he arrives on the scene. Sweet and cheerful, she is the heart of the team Her element is metal and her yokai partner is a jorogumo (spider woman yokai)
OniSlayer: a man who renounced his shaman side and made a pact with an oni in order to take revenge he does not use spells but rather martial arts withv oni energy His color is purple, his element is darkness and his yokai partner is Shuten Douji (I imagine his ranger suit design to be very inspired by Gostei Knight, Gaisoulg and Rio from Gekiranger)
The collectibles are Yo-Fudas, cards inspired by Ofuda talismans that are responsible for the team's spells, weapons and zords Each ranger has their own deck of Yo-Fudas based on different yokais of their respective elements
About the mechas, I think of something a bit similar Go-Onger, Go-Buster and Goseiger, zords that are half yokai and half vehicle Red: Nekomata/ racing car Blue: Tengu/ helicopter Yellow: Tsuchinoko/ Shovel Black: Kappa/ submarine White: Jorogumo/ Armored car OniSlayer: Oni/Dekotora The main five Rangers have a shared mecha (gashadokuro/ tank) that serves as the mecha main body (similar to the Korean toku Legend Hero) and can make multiple combinations
The villains are the Onryo, vengeful spirits whose mission is to resurrect their leader (Tatarigami) so they can create "hell on Earth" and take revenge on the living. Its method of creating monsters is very similar to miraculous Ladybug
They choose a human with bad feelings such as grudge and malice and incorporate an evil spirit into their body that ends up creating a monster linked to something (an object in most cases) while the monster causes chaos the possessed victim begins to perform the ritual to send his soul to Tatarigami so that he can be reborn (the ritual ends with the victim killing themselves)so the Rangers have to defeat the monster through exorcism (the monster also attacks people with the aim of accumulating people's negative energies to help with the ritual)
So that's it, that's my idea. Again, anyone who wants to give ideas on how to improve this story (specially about the villains) it would be greatly appreciated.
