Hey there! I haven’t been able to reinstall any sort of mods on my Mac since beginning of April. I took a bit of a break because I was getting annoyed and left it uninstalled, but have been trying the last three days watching videos and reading articles and keep getting error messages.
Does this have anything to do with being forced from origin to EA? The mod is installed correctly and popping up as being installed but continuously pops up errors. And all the sims just have their pants off. Won’t do literally anything in the mod otherwise. Not sure what I’m doing wrong. Looks like there may be to EA folders now so maybe that is an issue? One is the typical one where my game has always been and the other says Electric Arts or EA or something slightly different. Thanks so much in advance! Has been really starting to annoy me!

When hovering over input based matchmaking, it says "does not apply to ranked"
So does this mean aimbot controller plebs will be in my ranked games? If so I'm uninstalling. Way to kill your game.

Is anyone having trouble withe maps in DD? It's slow to tell me where to go next and the arrow goes in different directions. It's affecting my delivery time. Support just says to uninstall, but the problem doesn't go away.

Windows 11 Latest Chrome version
I already know its on of those malware bozos (was downloading something shady, or at least I realised it was shady after attempting to download it), I just can't seem to deal with it like I used to deal with Yahoo redirects back in the day. Just resetting chrome settings, uninstalling something with "chromium" in it or reinstalling chrome would usually work, but im completely lost at the moment. Do you guys have any idea on how to fix this? Thanks in advance.

I haven't been able to use marketplace for the last 4 months. It doesn't load listings and when people share things with me it says page not found. I've tried my laptop, a VPN, and 3 different accounts and no luck. There's no updates and I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling and multiple other things that they recommended but no luck. I don't think I'm banned because I never had any warnings but is anyone else having or have had this issue?

Hi, I’m a PC noob and have tried everything I could by searching online but still couldn’t solve the problem with my PC.
My PC broke a couple of weeks ago saying to reboot and select proper boot device. My friend advised me to buy a new hdd since my mobo is not reading my previous hdd.
After a week, I bought a new hdd and freshly installed windows 10. Pc worked fine overnight as I installed and played league for over an hour. I tried installing Honkai Star Rail overnight as I went to bed and left it downloading, only to find out it wouldn’t open past the troubleshooting window. I tried restarting and it kept going through repair mode and back to the troubleshooting window.
I tried wiping the drive clean and making a new install of windows 10, all went well and again I installed LoL and was able to play for a couple of hours. I tried installing HSR again and I noticed that at some point the downloading stops and my pc freezes. After this, I stopped the download and immediately uninstalled HSR.
Over the past few weeks I tried installing HSR again while checking online possible causes of the freezes and the only thing that I saw was that windows 10 was seeing HSR’s anti cheat as a malware which was causing the random freezes then eventually crashing windows.
I got frustrated since previously, before my hdd broke, I was able to play any game without any issue and without changing anything settings such as firewall. Still, I decided not to install HSR again since it might cause another BSod and make me install windows again.
However, since Wuthering Waves is coming a few days from now, I tried pre downloading hoping that the same thing won’t happen. I was pretty optimistic since hoyoverse and kuro are different companies after all. And well to my surprise, now my pc froze and again BSoD. I can’t get past the troubleshooting window again and might need to reinstall windows.
I’m thinking, should I just clone my sister’s windows 11 and pray to god I can play wuthering waves upon launch? Does anyone have any idea on what might be the issue here? or If anyone has any suggestion?

We've had countless hours of fun that seemingly ALWAYS seem to get ruined with some glitch or problem, usually relating to ships or blackscreening or something. Today was likely the last straw of the crew I've been with since season 6.
We finally did the grand finale tall tale for PotC, The Lords of the Sea, and were having a great time. A reaper sloop came by and even left, recognizing we were mid tall tale. Right as the dutchman finally breached the water and we turned toward it, OUR SHIP LITERALLY INVERTED. It kept moving but we could not get on. Bottom up, with no damage, and was unfixable. After trying with what blunderbombs we could, it wouldn't flip, and we decided to scuttle.
Super frustrated, on our way back, the sloop came back and killed the Dutchman to finish the tall tale before we got there. They did it to ruin it on purpose, went head on toward us, boarded, and sunk us. We're not even bad at pvp, but these guys were off the walls. We didn't even shoot at them at first, and straight up tried talking. They were having none of it.
I just can't fathom on what world this would happen, and sure you can say "safer seas", but be real, that's lame as hell. Ruining the grand finale of our adventure COMBINED with YET ANOTHER glitch is just insane. My crew has already talked about uninstalling and several of our other guild mates may do the same.
Even with the sweaty douchebags aside, with the great updates still coming out, how are these physics bugs still not fixed???
TLDR: Tall tale grand finale ruined due to a glitch and then sweaty douchebag combo. Don't know if my crew is even willing to play the game anymore now.

So.. needless to say I’ve been playing rl for a bit. Sitting around 2500 hrs and peaked gc2 in 3s and mid gc1 in 2s these past 2 seasons. However, I took a 1 month break from the game because I ran into a problem of 2 dead motherboards back-to-back on my gaming pc. Now, coming back, I feel terrible. I’ve been averaging about 1-1.5 hrs/day for the past 2 weeks and have dropped mmr like a mad man. Went from almost mid gc1 to high c2 in a matter of 3 days, and I find it impossible to win at the c2 rank because of how differently they play.
I’ve been practicing with bakkesmod maps, scrimming in 6mans (and winning), and doing my same routine.
Some options I’ve been considering are: 1. Switching from regular air roll to directional and practicing that in the hopes of it making me a better player (to the point where I can ball chase my way through c2, c3, etc.) 2. Taking a break and hope that I come back to a different me lol 3. Hitting my head against the wall repeatedly in c2 and hoping to run into a winning streak so I can play my actual rank.
What do you guys recommend doing to break this funk? I’ve ran into this before but never to this level. I have never contemplated uninstalling more in my life but I just don’t have the heart to.

I have played for several hours today and had exactly 2 games where I didn't encounter someone who played like they were applying for a job at IGN.
I understand that people are new to the game and trying new characters, but the "protect me and then I'll heal you" line doesn't work when we can actively see you trying exclusively to get kills as Resonance Ying and you end the game with 4 digit healing numbers.
I understand that this game is kinda buggy and connection is unstable, but if the team loses the first engagement because you didn't leave spawn for 10 seconds, don't try and say "oh it was only 10 seconds, why didn't you just take cover"
And lastly, if you are the type of person to just immediately AFK or throw the moment a match gets challenging. Uninstall. There is no worse player on a team than someone who gives up.

Two summers ago, I drove 7 hours one way to buy a 2019 Manual Genesis G70. It was used, not certified preowned, with just under 12K miles. The OEM tires were approaching the end of their useful life. It had one scratch on the rear passenger door and an annoying dealership permanent sticker on the trunk. It also only had one key. The head unit infotainment screen also had a small delamination crack - visible if you looked close but not perceptible if you ran your fingers across it. I bought it as is, though Genesis has a stellar warranty that transfers to the second owner so I still had 2 years warranty remaining. It was too far away for me to get it to a trusted mechanic to PPI, so the warranty was a huge factor.
On a long drive to the beach, the screens began to flicker. The car still ran mechanically fine, but it was alarming. I also noticed I couldn't get the Genesis Connected Services to work. A few weeks later, the screens were flickering again in my driveway. I shut the car off thinking if I just shut it off and turned it back on it would fix itself - for about 5 minutes I couldn't restart the car. It was as though it had a completely dead battery. I took it to my local dealer which unfortunately is an hour away but fortunately is reached through a combination of great back roads and highways. They were unable to replicate the issue but decided to attribute it to the head unit and replaced the entire thing on the basis of the delamination crack being covered by warranty. A week after I got the car back, the screens flickered again. I tried doing an over the air software update with Genesis Corporate over the phone and it kept failing, so we went back to the dealership. They manually did the update. After a few more weeks, the screens flickered again. I took it back down and they decided to go nuclear, completely uninstalling all software and updates from the car and then reinstalling the latest software as a clean slate. When I got it back - my genesis connected services were working and the screens never flickered again. BUT. My backup camera would now randomly stop working. I took it back and they tried a patch update to the backup camera software as well as replacing a crush washer that's apparently a known failure point for the backup camera. The problem persisted. They informed me there is a sensor in the transmission that tells the backup camera when the car is in reverse and when to turn on. That sensor apparently failed, and the solution is apparently to replace the entire transmission. I personally found that insane, but a new clutch and transmission covered fully under warranty? Sure, I'll enjoy your courtesy car a little longer. Yeah, on that note. Having the car in and out of the shop so often was annoying, but it was all covered under Genesis phenomenal warranty, the dealership was surprisingly patient, understanding and communicative, and since they're an hour away I had an opportunity to enjoy some courtesy cars on a good mix of backroads and highways. The courtesy cars I had in no particular order...

• 2023 Genesis G70, 2.0 Turbo AWD. Felt heavy and the automatic transmission seems to take up more space in the center console than the manual. Definitely quicker than my car, but I don't enjoy the weightyness to it. I think it might have something to do with how the power is being put down? Like it IS faster than my car and it DOES have better traction in corners but it FEELS much heavier.
  
• 2023 Sonata N-Line. Feels fast and light but not for me. The interior after getting out of a G70 is a let down and the front wheel drive and extra power don't do enough to make up for it. To clarify - I think this is a fun car if you want a quick, front wheel drive sedan - but it's not my cup of tea.
  
• 2022 Genesis G80. Cannot say enough good things about this car. Feels like a true luxobarge. Gorgeous, comfortable, quiet interior, everything feels heavy and expensive but it also has the power to get out of its own way. This was by far, hands down, no comparison, the best courtesy car I've ever been given. I'd go as far as to say it's one of the best cars I've ever driven in my life. That's relative of course, but it really was just such an impressive vehicle. It was hard to find anything not to like about it.
  
• 2023 Genesis G70, 3.3 twin turbo AWD. Holy hell this thing moves. So, this car has the sunroof - which I hate. In G70s with the sunroof, I have to put the seat all the way on the floor to have headroom. I'm 5'11" with a 32 inch inseam if that gives you an idea of my torso/leg ratio. It also had the same heavyness I felt in the 2.0 AWD courtesy car - it's something to do with the AWD but I don't know if it's how the system moves power around or if it's literally just the added weight of the system. It doesn't feel flickable the way my RWD car feels. And before you call me an idiot for describing my G70 as flickable, understand it's all relative and I haven't owned or driven that many performance cars in my life. I know my car isn't a miata. That all being said. So. Freaking. Fast. The V6 has a really unique sound to it unlike any other V6 I've experienced, I can't decide if I like it or not but it's definitely unique. The speed is really incredible and the AWD makes it so usable. You can floor it turning right or left off the line at a stoplight and it will hold the road and put the power down. If I weren't so sure this car would get me arrested, I'd want one.
  

I got my car back and I haven't had any issues with screens or backup cameras or anything else since the transmission replacement. So what's to love? Small, sporty, rear wheel drive car that has the power to break traction but isn't so powerful that you can't use all your gears. To me this car is straddling the line of slow car fast. It's incredibly comfortable, has a great stereo, looks cool, and it's got enough room for me, my spouse, my dog and a child seat. Also so glad I got the manual when I did - manual G70s are not easy to find. This was one of four for sale within 500 miles of my zip when I bought it. The rear seat is actually usable, but the foot room is tight. I'm 5'11 with a 32 inch inseam. If I take my shoes off, I can sit behind my driving position. I have the knee and hip room - but the foot room is very tight for an adult male. Decent gas mileage if you're not driving it like a hooligan. Feels light and eager to turn, even at speed.
What's not so good? The trunk has a high load floor so even though you have a good opening and footprint, it's shallow. It's not unusable, it's just not as deep as you'd expect it to be. I was still able to fit everything my spouse, my dog and I needed for a week at the beach. Speaking of long trips - no spare tire. That pissed me off. Not even a space saver? Come on. I think it should be a legal requirement that all cars have at least a space saver. In any case, this car can accept the same space saver spare kit the 3.3 model comes with or the Kia Stinger comes with. I ordered the parts online and installed a space saver spare myself. The backup camera shuts off as soon as you're out of reverse, even if you're rolling backwards in neutral. This is a nitpick, but I do wish the backup camera would stay on until I was rolling forward. Speaking of reverse, the pedal box is tight and I usually wear an 11 or 12 shoe depending on the brand. With certain shoes, I have to modify my left foot motion because my toe will catch the arm of the clutch pedal. Not impossible, but it can be annoying in certain pairs of shoes or if you have big feet.
Clutch and Transmission :: I'm gonna give this it's own section because I feel like this is a very case sensitive matter. Manuals I drove before this - a 2011 Subaru Outback. First manual car I bought and I drove it for 120K miles before an old dude in a Yukon totaled it. Some people have said they don't enjoy the feeling of this transmission, I don't have much to compare it to. I think the stick feel is fine. The actual clutch is a toss up for me. It's hydraulic, so on one hand it's buttery smooth and easy and very forgiving if you're doing a drive through or in stop and go traffic - things I took pains to avoid in my outback. The flip side is, the pedal gives you very little feedback. The bite point is harder to feel and it definitely numbs the experience a bit. If you're looking for a very raw, analog feeling transmission this is not it. This feels much more like an entry level luxury sport sedan that was given a manual just because it would be cool to have a manual, but also trying to do one in such a way that it wouldn't alienate luxury car buyers who generally find manuals to be a nuisance.
Would I go through it all again? Absolutely. The dealer trips were annoying but it let me test drive some cool stuff and I never paid a dime. The only thing I paid for was an oil change, a new set of tires (not from the dealer) and a new key cause I wanted to have two. The key was $700 which is offensive but unfortunately not unheard of with modern cars. The car is a blast. If you want a smallish, luxuryish, sportscarish vehicle that gives you a lot of nice stuff without being too expensive or too harsh, check out a G70. If you're a manual purist, you may love it or hate it - the clutch is definitely a sticking point for many people. Genesis Dealer? Mine is great, thank god. But I have heard plenty of horror stories from other owners who went to more Hyundai focused dealers. Maintenance? No mechanical issues at all, just weird software related glitches that were all covered under warranty. Mods? Not really planning anything big. I added a sun strip to the windshield, a dash cam and wiring for my radar detector. Also the spare tire. And I put PS4s on it. I plan to keep it stock - at least until it's paid off and the warranty is out.
Questions for reddit :: Catch cans! Should I have one on this car? Is there a recommended brand? Do your mechanics charge you more to empty them or do you empty them yourselves? What does a catch can do that the OEM air oil separator doesnt?
TL;DR :: I like my manual G70. It isn't very fast, but I like it.

I had a computer running QB Premier 2019 with my company file.
Hard drive died
I rebuilt the computer and installed by mistake QB Pro 2021 that I have for a client.
I opened the file in 2021 and it wants to upgrade the data. It made a backup and got into the data, but realized I used the wrong version of QB.
I uninstalled 2021, installed 2019, made sure it is fully up to date and then tried opening the backup file.
It says it can't open it because it was made by a newer version of QB (doesn't say what the newer version is).
I go to backups and get QBW file from last week. Still get that error that the file was updated to a newer version.
I use a copy of a QBW file I made at start of 2024. Same message when trying to open with premier 2019, the app I used when it was last opened at the start of 2024

Anyone having this weird issue of photos taken in game would just show as a black screen? But if I right click on that photo and click on set as desktop background, I am able to see the photo as a wallpaper. I thought it might be some issue with the photos app itself so I repaired, reset, uninstall and reinstalled it. Didnt change anything. I know its an issue with the game itself because the photos I take in Spiderman Remastered, shows up perfectly. I could open the photo and see it just fine. Its only in this game that I have this issue for some reason. Did the developers say anything about this issue? Is anyone else having this issue?

Since the last update I haven't been able to open the game, it says it's already running but it's not, I tried closing steam and Fall Guys on task managed but still no luck, I already uninstalled it and install it and it's the same.
Does anyone have the same problem? How can I fix it?

purpose:

Build a database of roms to auto import into playnite so when rom is downloaded it has all the data, it’s also nice to offline search what games are available to look out for.

How to do it?

1) use script to scrape a static site for rom names, this will then write to a database.txt file
2) second script will convert roms found in database.txt and make into shortcuts with correct name
3) third script names with exertion of rom file that would be downloaded e.g chd or iso
4) set up an auto scan folder in playnite for the platform of choice and select the folder where all the shortcuts are,
5) update playnite library and let it do the rest, after if you del these shortcuts all the game data will be there. So say shortcut is named “ssx3.iso” if user was to have the “ssx3.iso” in the auto scan folder it will then mark as installed. Other than that it will mark all ps2 games as uninstalled so user can see how many games are installed.

extra:

If scrape sites with links to roms, script will make shortcut to the url of the rom. If rename url shortcut to extension for playnite to scan then change extension back to url,
copy shortcuts to a folder in playnite dir E.g “playnite/system/Store/ps2” when scanning finished control all, edit, got to actions add one for ps2 emu. And another name it “downalod” untick as play action, set as script and put start-process “{PlayniteDir}/System/Store/ps2/{Name}.url”
If have portable fdm for each platform have “start-process “location to fdm portable” first then start-process “location to {Name}.url” wait 5 secs kill edge.exe
What that will do is, if a game not installed, click the box next to “install” and it’ll say download, on click it’ll open correct version of fdm then download the rom and close edge
I’d personally have different fdm portables set up so when downlaod done it’ll exit app, and set the download dir for each platform to “D:/Roms/PlatformName”
For legal reasons I can provide scripts I used to do this but users will need to input there own urls in script to scrape that site or sites for the roms ect. If devs okay this I’ll upload all 3 scripts and you can use yourself if not then you’ll have to make your own scrips but above method will still work

So my wifi adapter stopped working recently, yet again, and I looked up this one YouTube video that I usually watch to fix it cuz that's the only one that's ever worked. But now even that one doesn't work. So I skipped to the last method and uninstalled the adapter but when I restarted my laptop it wasn't there. I know absolutely nothing about computers so this was definitely not the best thing to do but I'm slowly learning.

I do not remember the wifi adapter just that it was realtek.
Could anyone walk me through how I can fix my laptop and install my wifi adapter again?
Edit: I just noticed the post title and realized it's supposed to say "I don't have a wifi ADAPTER anymore"
Edit 2: there was a code 45 on the wifi adapter which is why I u installed it because this was a recurring problem and now I just don't have one at all

I'm fucking convinced every person with a 3k X badge is cheating.
I have a fucking brush, something I spent years with since s2, and I'm fucking useless when my teammates won't push up and give me the map control I need to play the damn game.
I have a fucking shooter, something which is apparently the meta, and even though my crosshair says "oh yeah you'll do damage" I shoot the enemy and it shoots off into every direction but at the enemy, even with perfect accuracy weapons, all the while the crosshair keeps giving me that big X saying I should do damage.
I've never played a more inconsistent game in my life, and I'm seriously considering uninstalling if the next season turns out to be a flop. I'm never gonna get that fucking X badge.
