2024.05.21 16:02 Lpunit Bronze rates are fine if power scaling gets fixed

I think the community is misplaced in their feedback to Blizzard regarding what is the actual issue with MOP: Remix.
There is a lot of talk about the rate of bronze dropping being too low, hence the large farm groups which are more efficient. However, I don't think this is the actual root cause problem.
The real problem is player power. We are so weak at level 70 that it is more efficient to grind regular mobs in the overworld because doing a heroic dungeon takes 15 minutes and doing normal TOT can take over an hour, let alone SOO which can take 2. Dungeons and Raids are the content we "should" be doing, but there is too much friction for that content, causing people to resort to mob farming.
If we were able to get as OP as advertised (as OP as frog farmers), then we would be able to blitz through dungeons and raids in no time. Clearing through SOO in 30-45 minutes on Mythic for 30k+ Bronze sounds like a good deal to me. If I can fly through Terrace heroic in a few minutes for 5-8k bronze, then that's fine by me.
Threads just need to be more plentiful, with tons more dropping from dungeon and raid bosses (and the caches), and the bronze cost of gear upgrades needs to be reduced 10x for it to get us back to having fun.

I have made my team thinking about the combo gravity+sleep powder+chlorophyll and Groudon being a good sunsetter. Incineroar is just a great mon it was a good adition to the team. Suicune was the best tailwind setter I found that wasn't weak to ice since both my sweapers are weak to this type and it is really bulky but doesn't do much on the offense. Farigiraf is a mon that I really just put there to have a way to take trickroom away and tera fairy to kill koraidon. Most of the time I loss I felt it was either because I missed a crucial play or I couldn't take zamazenta out of the field or kill terapagos in time.
I tried to switch groudon for koraidon to kill terapagos but it left a lack of counter play against miraidon. I already thought of switching farigiraf for Iron valiant and keep Groudon since it would give me counter play to terapagos and still have a way to take down trick room.
In what regards zamazenta recently I switched venusaur's tera type to fire and now weather ball in the sun kills praticcally always. What do you think I could do to refine the team and deal with terapagos?

In around a month I will be competing for my school at an interschool competition. Teams, so 4v4, I'll likely be board three. Our top 2 boards are very strong (around 1850 FIDE), while me and the 4th are significantly weaker. I'm like 1600 blitz on Lichess, 1800 rapid (OmayojiCat on Lichess). Don't have FIDE.
The other schools will be fielding very strong teams, probably around 1600 FIDE. I guess my goal is to draw? Time control is 15+5, I mostly play 10+0 online. Openings are Colle-Zukertort with White, Caro-Kann for Black.
Anyone have advice for people around my level to improve my OTB play in about a month's time? Should I spam puzzles? Play longer games, read a book? This tournament is quite important to me as it's my last year of high school and I am the captain of the school club.
I signed up for a tournament in early June as a practice, I may get a FIDE rating and therefore an estimate of my strength then. I also played at this interschool last year, got 3.5/6 board two, 2 wins 1 loss 3 draws. Team came 4th out of 21, need top 2 to make it to nationals. Our team had an average online rating of around 1300 at the time, the two top boards are new this year.

  • Strength: He should be physically the strongest due to Meguna being equal or even relative to Gojo, he also makes Mahoraga throw up and knocks out Jogo multiple times in their fight and can send Gojo flying with one punch alone and Yujikuna and Heiankuna would be above this.
  • Due to them being physically better than Megumi's body mean Heiankuna > Yujikuna > Meguna ~> Gojo. These are all opponents that he can send through multiple buildings, and destroy entire portions of the city with just punching, kicking, throwing, slamming, etc.

Meguna sending Gojo flying his weakest form by the way (physically of course)
  • Speed/Reaction: Meguna can speed blitz in their Domain clash while in the midst of CQC, and can also perceive and react to Kashimo EM waves while chanting and firing off his WS Dismantle.
  • He can also react to Gojo's Hollow Purple at 200% while off guard, and he's also fast enough to move on air being able to straight-up dodge and run on it with just sheer speed.
Speed blitzed Gojo inside their Domain Expansion but Gojo can perceive him but not stop him
Keep in mind this new Dismantle has a start up time and takes time to charge
This is heavily fatigued mind you and in the anime he's shown just floating in air
  • Durability/Endurance: As we know he is easily top 2 in endurance he's literally been fighting the entire verse while holding back on most of them such as Yuji, Yuta, Rika, Higuruma, Kashimo, Gojo, and Choso these are Grade 1 to Special Grade level fighters with Gojo and Kashimo being the 2nd in 3rd strongest.
  • And as for his durability, it's also nuts but I will list everything that Meguna and Heiankuna survived. Meguna has survived Infinite Void, 200% Hollow Purple, Red + Black Flack Blue infused, Point blank Hollow Purple, and 2 beatings from Gojo inside his Domain.
  • Heiankuna has had his heart stabbed and jumped by Yuta (Domain amped), Yuji who weakens him with soul punches in Rika who is a monster physically.
  • Not only this but gets hit with a Maximum Output Jacob Ladder (Domain amped), 8 Black Flashes + Soul Damage, got hit with Cleave (Domain amped) and Piercing Blood and this man is still alive and just now has reached Yuta levels of CE (more than Gojo) after being jumped by Yuji in Todo in can still cast his Domain.
Arguably the strongest attack in the entire series
A literal technique that should have extingushed Heiankuna but survives and doesn't get sepearted from his host
200% Hollow Purple off guard another attack that's in debate for No.1 strongest attcks in series and Meguna only loses his hands
  • Close Quarters Combat: Sukuna is the best at CQC beating Gojo multiple times and his weakest form (Meguna) and beats Kashimo in CQC as well these are the top 5 characters overall in verse and he beats them nerfed one way or another with Gojo losing to his weakest form and Heiankuna is still weakened.
  • He utterly dominates other characters such as Mahoraga, Maki, Yuji, Yuta, Rika, Jogo, etc. Proving that he's objectively above anyone that's weaker than the top 3 in CQC.
Beats Gojo in CQC the second best in the series tied with Kenjaku (in CQC people it's stated don't kill me)
Bodies Mahoraga in CQC while not going all out
Beats Kashimo in CQC while he in MBA
  • Attack Potency/Destructive Capability: With his Malevolent Shrine at 140 meters w/18F + Mummy Head he nearly kills Gojo and that's not even his full power either he can shrink his Domain to increase the output.
  • With (Divine Flames, Open) he eradicates Mahoraga and wipes Shibuya off the map while Divine Flames are only at 140 meters, due to Malevolent Shrines radius meaning it has a 400 diameter due to Malevolent Shrine's max range being 200 meters and he didn't even use this against Gojo. This means he has two ways to kill Gojo, and Heiankuna's output would be stronger than the other two because he can chant in fight.

  • Intelligence: He's easily top 10 in his verse and arguably in the top 5 or even 3. He completely outsmarted Gojo in their fight from start to finish to gain the extended version of Dismantle and figured out Megumi's Shikigami's abilities rather fast. He also knows Gojo is amping himself with a CT during their first fight and planned on taking Megumi's body from the beginning of the series and can master things on sight.

I'm a bit of a Mastery Flexer myself and a Support main, before the mastery changes I had 14 supports at level 7 mastery, and now with the reset I am grinding them to level 10.
One of the main reasons for it, is so I can flex the lvl 10 mastery with x Supports token but why is blitzcrank only classified as tank and fighter and not in the Support list?
You can check what champs are 'supports' on the challengers menu and even Zoe, Hwei and Neeko are supports, 2 of which only went to support during the last 6 months, but not Blitz lmao
When is Rito changing this? I need my numbers

2024.05.20 20:56 Bloodshed_msf Compilation of Issues by the Perspective of an Endgame FTP Player.

  1. Gold Crunch It is worse than ever because even though the community complained about how stupid the cost of leveling up a character, they just continued to make it even more unbearable. Right now they are about to release "tokens" for that but still, I don't think that's gonna work either because they'll probably make those available for Krakens and Whales too just as they did in the Mega Gold Orb case. As ftps we get like 1 per month. Also the gear crafting is more expensive than ever, those crimson gear costs are no joke either. And let's say I'm wrong and tokens would help us a lot, after 6 years I'm 100% sure that they will introduce events that spending tons of gold which will surely make our experience horrible again.
  2. Level of Greed in Event Milestones I remember the time I hit the last milestones just by playing the game more. Whether it was blitzing or another unbearable game mode, I was able to complete the tasks and got my rewards. Boy, that was looong time ago. The game started to cap my performance around 75%-85% of the milestones meaning that bottom 3-4 is unreachable. For the last year that 3-4 became 5-6. For 3 years I made calculations about how to hit the last milestone, It gradually turned into "How can I hit this required item milestone" and eventually reached at a point "Can I actually skip that bs ass event or not?" This Merc's Golden Bounty event is a digital way of spitting on player's faces. Now they even design events that Krakens can have difficulty of completing it. As a ftp I only have Deadpool and Deathpool and all I'm hitting is the Milestone 6. The whole 12 better milestones are beyond reach for me. All I'm getting is around 750k per event, not even a million.
  3. Character Availability. Blitz was no one's favorite but it allowed us to recruit new characters with 4-4.5 gold stars within 10 days. Campaign node events were everyone's favorite and like the same, they were allowing us to recruit characters with 4 and even 5 stars within 15 days and both got discarded. Now certain character releases takes whole month and we can barely get 4 stars. Usually we unlock them with 3-3.5 stars with the event. Then 2 weeks later they put them in a pass with 30 shards. Then they create an event orb with shitty rates that gives more Ultimus Credits than required shards. And that's it. That is the release. And even before their full release, they produce events that require 5-6-7 stars of the new characters which is impossible for us to participate. Even if we get 5 stars, it gets us almost no point. They recently reorganized the Ultimus store but it solved nothing as well. Not only it is expensive but it is also not fixed so even if I had the currency, I get like 5 shards per 2-3 days. I used to have 300k credits and now I have only 20k. They are successfully drained our resources without giving us anything. They should either increase the amount of the shards like x15 or even more or they need to fix new characters. Right now, even if you have the currency, they expect you to spent cores to refresh the store. And even when you do that you are not going to get the new characters to 5-6 stars to participate in those events. I don't even remember when was the last time we saw someone on the Arena store. The Scopley's mind is so evil that all they do is stalling the releases then we get tons of store credits and then they put the characters for more expensive rates to drain those credits.
  4. Ridiculousness of the Incursion Raids In the old days, (I take a sip from my invisible pipe) we used to be able to sustain a base level for our characters. To give it an example:
Level Cap 75: DD characters 75, raid characters 70, rest is 65 g12
Level Cap 90 DD characters 90, raid characters 80-85 , rest is 75, g14, B.Iso Lvl 3
But right now raid characters need 100 level at least too. And gear 19 if you can. Because even with 2.1m teams you cannot safely sim any nodes, maybe the second node of the Mutant node and that's it. If you successfully sim the first two Mutant nodes you can still get ruined in the boss node as in the example: https://imgur.com/a/legOCnn. Mystic nodes are problem because you need to play it in a certain way and when you sim it, the AI system plays it in the wrong way mostly. For the bio nodes, I recently saw Rayge Gaming using Skull instead of Venom and it works way better so Venom seems like a waste. Every node has 12 characters that you can kill and 1-2 character that are invincible like Nova, Black Cat and Morgan.
But overall, the resistance of the enemies are, pardon my french but fucking stupid. Raids now are the Dark Dimensions that you do daily. Having huge health pools and huge amount of armor were already hard, we were already complaining about racing against timer but now we have huge amount of resistance as well, especially in the 2nd Tech node. They already make evasive characters like Cloak double-evasive while they are on enemy lines and in addition, now they have 80-120k resistance. But even that is not enough because most of them spawns with defense up so it means even more resistance whereas if you put g19 and 3 diamond on your Pegasus team, all the focus they can get is 35k-40k. Even if you put Skirmisher on all of them (then you will lack ton of damage) they are still nowhere close to matching with the enemies' resistance. And as you all know, the buff-debuff system means almost the everything in this game because unlike many other games, these buffs and debuffs effect the game by 50% whereas in many other games it's only 25% or 30%. So no debuff? You are screwed and there is nothing you can do to increase your focus because it is capped.
5) CAPPED Speaking of caps, does anyone enjoys them? I ask to whales and krakens as well. Is there anyone who rubs his/her belly and saying "Mmm, those poor mfs not gonna get more than 50k points, let's spend 20$ and buy 60k milestone points, mwahahahaha (bad guy laugh- I think it is funny to explain obvious things)". We are already capped by life. I will already not gonna be able to become Tadano MAC. I looked at his profile to check when he quit the game and saw last active 3 hours ago. (Damn is he coming back? Strange). But anyways, the 10th guy who finished DD5 quit 1y 282 days ago. So Tadano should quit around that time right? What I'm trying to say is the dude left the game almost 600 days ago and he has 89m whereas I have 62m with non-stop playing. I never missed a day and still need like another year to catch up with him. We already are nowhere near close to them so why adding another cap to our performance in events?
Bla-Bla Bs Event Spend Campaign Energy 1pts Earn Blitz Credits 1pts (Capped 1000) The latest milestone requires 52.000
What a nice and fun event isn't it? What's even worse is being endgame now almost gets you nothing. Back in the day there were events that we can thrive too but now 95% of the events are for the whales and krakens. Therefore, being and endgame player is a huge negative for us. As a player with 62m collection power a newer player with 50m-55m player can easily defeat me. Because recently, I looked at my whole roster and saw that I have 10m power that I never use. I calculated the characters that are not needed for legendary events, other events and I never use in war, cc and raids. It is around 9m power that I do not use which causes me problem in matchmaking because a newer players do not know the times where AIM, Mercenaries, Hydras, Asgardians, Bionic Avengers, Brotherhood, Fantastic Four, Inhumans, Shadowland were meta and therefore didn't invest on them. Their roster is more compact and useful.
6) Standardized Experience and Unfair Matchmaking So as endgame players we already have an important downside against new players. Even new players with 10%-15% less power than we do can easily defeat us but the matchmaking system for the Cosmic Crucible never meant to be fair. In my last war I fought against a player with 90m tcp so 28m more power than I hold. I gave this example numerous times but system is basically like "As a mid-weight champion you defeat all your opponents of your size so now you have to fight against heavy weights". How about no? Why do I have to be a punching bag for some series? Owing to their awful system, all of our experience is standardized. Almost everyone has a ratio of 2:3 or 3:2 for winning and losing. I am almost never at the top 3 in my 8-player group. I'm always 5th or 6th most powerful player in my series which is not fair at all. There should be a system like -5%-10% and +5%-10%. As a player with 62m power I should be matched people with 68-56m tcp.
7.1) Resource Management (Our Side) It has almost no importance right now because the events are designed in a way that nothing matters. We are not gonna do much thing. 7.2) Resource Management (Scopley's Side) They are doing an awful job about this as well. We sometimes calculate our asses off in many events to get a mere damn 50 Dark Promo Credits and most of the time miss it. Then they release an easy ass event like Temporal Dimension with lot of good rewards. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining about the rewards but the way that they are giving them to us is ridiculous. You play your ass of a hard event and then boom a compensation message with tons of free stuff or an easy as hell event. You get good rewards but still you do not feel "rewarded". You either feel "Is that it?" or "Well, that was too easy". One event we cannot even claim a milestone with 1m gold and 3 days later they give us 500k Gold in free claim. How about putting a "leveled hardship" for the rewards? They also have a cunning way of delivering resources too. You know the unholy triangle of Time, Energy and Money right? You can only have two. The Scopley does exactly the same stuff too. We have a curse triangle of Gear, Training Mats and Gold. You can only have 2 of those. People were suffering with training mats but had the gold and now they had the mats but not the gold.
7) Hardware Requirements and Eye-Bleeding Amount of Garbage I don't know how much storage the game requires but if you take a look at the stuff we don't use (or barely use once a year) we can reduce the game by 60% without losing anything. There are tons of worthless stuff that just exist. I don't know who plays RTA but let's keep it. Would you please take a look at the orbs we have? There are 4 orbs for 4 horsemen? Ok new players need it but just think about percentage and the frequency of use. Milestone 3 orb? What happened to MS 4, MS 5 and MS 6? Legacy 1-2-3 orbs, Basic orb, T1, T2 Ability orbs, 20 orbs about gear in Blitz store, Blue Gear orb, Purple Gear orb (after like 6 months you are done with Green, Blue and Purple gear), Greek raids character orbs, Blue and Purple gear War orbs, Green Iso orbs. I don't even open them more than a whole year and I'm fine except the MS 3 orbs because it also gives gold orb. Either just give us the resources or create a system like tokens. After reaching a threshold just make it infinite because we already have more blue and purple gear than we can use. Just remove these garbage and it will not only save them money in data storage but will also make the game load faster at least. I don't even open Orange Gear orbs and I'm fine on that area.
8) Some Content Creators There are a lot of content creators that help community getting the good rewards. From Escape the Clint or Alliance Tower events to raid nodes, there are lot of good content creators that are doing good job, however, I don't wanna name names but there are some creators that do their best to beat around the bush. When there is bad event comes up, they either fake their anger or do not make a video but the moment an easy event pops out boom, "here is how to max bla bla- bs event" videos come out. They only show the good side of the game to attract more views but when there are that many of awful events that popular creators do not "strongly" criticize, the player base as a whole gets reduced and thus their viewers.

Trust me man, we get it, the companies need to make money but how much? I mean after getting how much money, they will grant us a decent game that do not abuse their playerbase? After how many million dollars are they gonna produce good content and events that is more than spend this and spend that? Right now they are waaay passed the level of "We Need to Make Money" and they reached to "Well, fuck them, they already are all addicted and cannot do anything against us". I mean, I will not throw some names but wasn't there a guy who was on the PMV and then few weeks later he was on the top of DD5 or DD6? (Been a long time so I do not remember which DD) As long as you rush to pour your money into those guys' account how can you think they will listen to you? Scopley is like some street food vendor in some 3rd world country. You see the videos people making ice cream on the fucking asphalt road right? That's our beloved producers. They do not care because they're getting their money. Why doing some cleaning if all people ever do is complaining and not taking serious steps? They tried to boycott it once and Scopley made even more money that month. Now they organized a "movement" that was ridiculous from the get-go. The movement started after the 5th year. So these guys were running the game for 5 whole years. Do you really think there are any issues that we know but they don't? So you guys need gold? Damn man, if only there were people telling us this. For whole 5 years we just thought the new character releases are not enough. We thought you needed 10 characters each months. But thanks to PVM we know now. All we seeing is a funny play where Scopley does the things that they would do regardless but attribute some of them to PVM so that they feel they got tiny victories and made change in the game. But let's say I'm wrong from the beginning. The PMV did way more than we can think of. It is still a huge fail because it means that now we have to organize in a discord channel (God I hate that app) in order to get things we used to get without doing anything. Now we have to argue and raise our voice so that they can balance let's say a node of an event.
And I'm genuinely sorry for the long post. It's been a long time to come here again but not because I didn't have the time but more like not having the will. I remember the days I watch the videos of Khasino, Valley and MG. It recently reduced to MG only daily and now I don't even watch him regularly. I just look at some casual players' videos whenever new Alliance-Tower-like event pops up and that's it. My passion for this game died down a lot and I think lot of people will soon stop talking about altogether and silently quit the game whereas Scopley thinks there wasn't even many people complaining.
Edit 1: An I'm terribly sorry for forgetting the 2nd almighty group called "Just Go Play Another Game then". They are whole another type of specimen that do not know simply switching to something else do not solve problems. Oh let's switch to another game like LOTR: Heroes. Cancelled. Let's switch to some AAA games. Lot of them are bugfest on release. Let's switch uhmm. hmm. I'll go watch tv then.

THE FIFTY CENT OFFENSE by ANGRY HIPPOTOMASUS
After continually watching teams work to innovate NFL offenses to unprecedented degrees to take advantage of rule changes to further emphasize passing, I have come to the conclusion that there is one clear logical next step to further innovate gridiron football: run two QB’s at the same time.
Before you dismiss this idea as taking away an essential pass catcher or blocker, or functioning as a gimmick offense, hear out my proposal. In what I have termed a “Fifty Cent” offense, the offense lines up in a traditional Singleback formation. In place of a RB in this formation, I propose we push that player five yards further back and have them serve, in principle, as a second QB.
This second QB, or QB2, as I’ll term him, can serve a variety of functions, all of which the defense has to account for, and none of which the offense would give away in their formation. Essentially, the system serves as an inverted Wildcat formation: instead of an RB playing as QB and being unsure what their role is in a given play to the defense, QB2 serves as a potential runner, receiver, passer or blocker.
The plan is contingent on the proper personnel: QB1 is ideally a pocket passer and QB2 is ideally a dual threat QB with a stronger run game. Given the number of dual threat QB’s and pure athletes in the college game, and increasing number of backup or little known QB’s finding success in the NFL given opportunities, as well as the history of converting QB’s to WR’s (ex: Antwaan Randle El) the Fifty Cent scheme isn’t that much of a stretch.
Benefits:
There are downsides to this offense, as there is with any system on offense or defense, and I’ve outlined what has come to mind here:
Conclusion: This is a concept that is certainly worth exploring on a more serious level. The potential benefits against the nominal cost of exploring an offense like this is a massive net positive. This wouldn’t necessarily have to be a team’s entire scheme of course, but could count for four or five trick plays to keep up an OC’s sleeve to see a potential impact. The potential utilization could revolutionize football as contemporary offenses move away from previous iterations of offense and as player safety and rule modification increasingly benefits the passing attack and motion, the Fifty Cent offense could put a team on an entirely different trajectory.

I always wanted to say this, is apparently a hot take. Any time I hear top tier CT everyone says "boogie woogie" and I just want to scream so badly
Boogie Woogie is Mai's level of trash, yes that badly. Why you ask?
Well let's start with the many disadvantages it has that many people seem to ignore, even when it appeared the first time.
1-The heavy condition of a "clap". Basically the technique becomes useless, as we have already seen if you can't clap so is a technique that unless you have the absolute advantage on the fight will end up being rendered useless, if you are with an opponent of an equal level in which both sides have the intent of killing, sooner or later that hand will dissapear. Obviously is not just this, the main problem is that by needing a clap it becomes predictable "oH ButYoucAn dO aFaINt" yes resulting in absolute, literal nothing.
2-Easy to predict.
So first let's talk about the fact that if your opponent is faster, there's literally nothing you can do. Sooner or later they will catch up to you, let's not even talk about if your opponent is 1 tier above you, you get blitzed, can't clap, gg. Tbf you may say "well that applies to every technique" and not really, you can have a technique that either allows you to react with an attack that ACTUALLY DEALS DAMAGE, so your opponent can't close the gap as easily, give you a better defense or do a counter-attack. Even momo's tool manipulation can send a fcking cursed tool knife flying to your opponent if is outspeeding you where you think they are gonna land.
After all of this, even add to it , that 1- you know when they are gonna switch 2- you know where they are gonna switch. Sorcerers can feel CE so you know all the options a boogie woogie user has and you just have to wait for them to use it attack one of their options ( or all of them if you can )and boom, ggs ( consider that the todo fights didn't have more than 2 options available at the same time in a fcking 2 v 1 )
3- Glass Pistol
Imagine having a Technique, that basically does nothing, gives no advantage, you gotta be basically a genius to use it, the pay-off is minimum AND IT DEPENDS ON YOUR FCKING PHYSICAL STATS. Again you could say every CT depends on your Physical stats to some degree and that is true but the reliance on your physical stats boogie woogie has is just ridiculous, there's a reason Todo is hyper buffed and really good at reinforcement to the point he can beat grade 1s at base.
Well. Why is it a glass pistol? YOU GET PREDICTED FCKING ONCE AND YOU FCKING DIE. No I am not joking, literally your opponent needs 1 fcking prediction and you lose the fight, in exchange for maybe a couple of free hits?( best case scenario ).
So Imagine you are in a 1 v 1 vs a boogie woogie user, you are in the same lv of strenght, he used it to dodge stuff so you know its capabilities, the BW user has 2 options to switch, you and idk a fcking grade -5 Curse Spirit thats roaming around ( if the BW user is lucky, again this is their best case scenario ). They can't switch to you because is basically pointless, so you go in the offensive, hear a clap ok where the fck are they either, are in your previous position or in the CS position the only thing you gotta do is send a fcking bullet( or any technique that can deal damage mid range ) to either one of the 2 positions and, ggs. "oH BuT IcAn dO a FaINt" ok, you got 1 punch congrats, you had to clap either way so you dont' have that much time to do anything amazing anyways.
Imagine you are playing a game and you have an ability which allows you to teleport close-mid range, with the conditions that your opponent will know when you will tp and the options you have and your opponent has an ability that deals actual damage and can kill you if you are caught of guard or not even that, it just deals decent damage. You have to hit your opponent like 20 times with the risk of dying every time if you get predicted ONCE and your opponent has to hit you once or let's say worse case scenario 5 times, this is without taking into consideration faitgue for having to tank those attacks and fatigue from melee attacks, also fatigue to be constantly moving bc of BW. I know which option I would take
4- "oH BuT I cAN ThROw A sTone"
Ok, so you take a stone, infuse it with CE, throw it. What are you gonna do, use BW? so your opponent knows where you are going? so they can one-shot you for free? Good plan, at best you are getting 1 more TEMPORARY option to teleport to, you also, again have to clap, so you are telling your opponent where you are going and you are just wasting time to take a rock infuse it and throw it
5- Is only useful in a 2 v 1
Literally only useful when you have THE ABSOLUTE ADVANTAGE already and not gonna lie, it becomes broken, now let's say your ally has an ACTUAL CURSE TECHNIQUE unlike you, let's say momo's fucking tool manipulation, your ally can control CE infused KNIVES to throw your opponent you can switch between the objects and throw them to your opponent at any moment giving you an easy win. Let's say your ally has a simple beam ( not ryu's ) that has decent damage but can't one shot, you can shot them from different places at different timing and for distraction, you can keep going with different techniques.The only problem, it has the exact same weaknesses as in a 1 v 1, 1 prediction can lead to death.
The worse part about this is, is just a win harder technique, literally, if you are in a 2 v 1 where you ALREADY HAVE THE ADVANTAGE you were most likely gonna win anyways and if your opponent is so far above both of you that you lose, you would lose anyways with or without BW, it's only purpose is just getting less damage on a victory you were gonna have already.
6- "Oh But I can TP my opponent to damage "
What damage? you don't have a curse technique LMAO, you can't even properly use a fcking knife, Why? BECAUSE YOU NEED TO CLAP WITH YOUR BOTH FCKING HANDS TO USE IT, maybe you can use some wolverine claws, that can still be blocked by CE reinforcement.
Oh but if you use idk a gun CT I just have to teleport you to the bullet, that can literally only work ONCE, at best, and only works if your opponent can't react their own attack ( keep in mind CT deal less damage to their user ), after that it won't work and you are basically wasting CE for nothing. Keep in mind it only worked on Hanami a Curse Spirit with no( or low )battle experience
7- It can only be useful against someone with no fight experience
Boogie Woogie was able to shine ONLY because it was against HANAMI, someone who we were constantly told had no battle experience, battle drive and we were constantly told Hanami is not good at fighting, no matter how strong they were.
So I think I made my point clear that Boogie Woogie, is absolute, utter, 100%, pure garbage
Now we will talk about the "new" Boogie Woogie
1-Incredibly dizzy, ridiculously hard to follow, just throwing a stone with CE can make make it so you get teleported 50 times and don't know wher you are
2-still has the same disadvantages as normal BW, one prediction is gg
3- " is being used against sukuna", yes that is no small feat but this is like a 30% sukuna, completely destroyed, fatigued, low CE output AND IN A 2 V 1 and with yuji being the absolute counter to current sukuna bc of soul-split, is not a coincidence is just being used right now, is being used in it's best case scenario
4- Worst part? IT NEEDED LIKE A 100X TIMES BUFF TO WORK PROPERLY, between being able to switch 50 times, bigger range and more amount of targets ( I know this is bc of BW), no shit it finally is useful wow amazing, give that a 100x times buff to fcking Mai she would probably be a weak grade 1 at worse.
No joke, imagine Todo with an ok CT ( imagine fucking momo's CT) he would be a top tier grade 1, now imagine Todo with a GOOD CT, inmediatly a special grade. Imagine mai actually wanting to be a strong fighter+100 times buff, that's basically Yorozu, or at least really close
I know If i was in JJK verse and I had Boogie Woogie I literally would never use out of spite against the CE gods, I would literally make a binding vow TO NEVER use it, to get some buff( is unironically it's best application )
So what is my take after all of this? Simple
TODO IS SO GOATED, SO BRILLIANT, SO 53000 IQ, SO STRONG, SO DELUSIONAL, SO SCHIZOPHRENIC, SO FUCKING USEFUL THAT HE MADE A FCKING WORTHLESS TECHNIQUE BE USEFUL, THAT'S HOW GOATED HE IS. IMAGINE WHAT TODO WOULD DO WITH AN ACTUAL CURSE TECHNIQUE
