Hi electricians, I recently bought an older home (built in 1925) that had a fair amount of electrical work done (new circuits in kitchen, mini splits added, new 100 amp panel). Unfortunately it is still on 100 amp service. Shortly after moving in, I was setting up an air mattress with my partner when we noticed the lights flickering when we ran the air mattress pumps, figured it was to be expected since we were running two pumps at the same time on the same circuit. Most of the house is romex, but theoretically there may be some knob and tube in the bedrooms (plaster walls, these seem to be untouched).
However shortly after that I was shredding some documents (8 page shredder is listed here) in my office when I noticed that the lights upstairs were also flickering on the same ceiling fans (there's like 5 of the same fans through the house). I went downstairs to a different circuit and had the same result. It only appears to mess with the fans, but honestly it's hard to tell since those fans are the only overhead lights in most of the rooms. I just ran a final test where I plugged the shredder directly into the outlet under my breaker panel in the basement (this was where my electrician suggested I plug in the dehumidifier I just bought, dehumidifier was off when I tested the shredder) and had the same issues with the fan light upstairs cutting out.
I'm in the process of getting estimates for a 200 amp upgrade and I had the electrician that did most of the work on the house prior to my purchase come out and he agreed that 1. 100 amps is too little for this home (and that he desperately tried to get the previous owner to do 200 amps) and 2. that it is "difficult" to diagnose "lights are flickering under load". He said it could be the phases (?) or that the lights are just particularly sensitive. Unrelated to it being under load, I did notice at least one instance of sunny weather flickering on the fan in the bedroom. The electrician said upgrading *may* fix the issue, but it might not.
I have a few concerns, but the biggest one being, is this safe? Also should I stop using the shredder / air mattress pumps? Should I contact my power company to check my service neutral? Kind of at a loss on what to do outside of spending a ton of money on having electricians come out.
Apologies in advance if some of this seems silly, new homeowner and I've already run into some interesting issues with this house.

So this has happened twice. My brushes and panels and speech bubbles randomly get untextured or weird when I boot up clip studio. Like a brush thats textured will suddenly become a bunch of dots/become like the default g-pen. Panels that are textured (like purposely squiggly) become super smoothed out and not at all what they're supposed to look like. Only solutions is to delete and redownload the brushes/other stuff over and over- but i dont wanna have that stick around. I dont got pics of exactly what im talking about rn but if anyone knows how to fix this, let me know.

This is going to be pretty rushed as I cannot vividly remember every single scene from that YouTube video nor its title at all. I even tried searching it on youtube multiple times but still can't find it at all. However, from what 9–10-year-old me (a bit too old for the target audience but still a kid regardless) remembered:

I hope this post won't get blocked. It is not intended to discriminate particular groups of people, but mostly comes with the concern of our existence as a nation in the future. I think the foreign visitors (especially from !nd!a, Pak!$tan, and the other ar@b!c countries) are threat to central asian countries in the long term:

1. Their number grow exponentially in time, so within 10-20 years it can turn into a huge local !nd!@n/ pak!$tan community. Think about what will happen within 50 years, taking into account the small number of the CA people. Honestly I dont want my country having a big population of them.
   
2. They dont integrate well to local culture, mostly living in their bubble with the other fellows.
   
3. They often harass local females and have some weird attitudes. Somehow they consider the CA girls as a target for hook up/ one night stand. It's really shame on us that our sisters are perceived in that way.
   
4. Ironically they count us as a less developed third world country (which is true though), but coming from an another shitty place I would be more humble.
   

Fellow CA brothers, when you see some weird behavior of them please dont go silent. And we need to take an action to regulate their stay here (cooperating with the government). Of course we dont support any violence towards them, but cant accept a such treatment either. The recent unrest in Bishkek is a nice example how we should react when our people are mistreated. So how do you think we can regulate their number here? Of course they still can come to study and work, but its crucial to get their number under control (I.e. shouldnt exceed some amount).

A few days ago I was in the mines fishing for a hypnotic moray as its the last thing I need to finish my Vault of the Roots bundles. I randomly ended up catching a void ray and got so happy!! I'm not new to the game but can only play a few hours a week so am progressing pretty slow so it was my first Epic fish and was caught with a fine rod and no boosts! I was sad at the thought of having to give it up for the spooky bundle though so kept it in my lockbox with the thought I'd try catch another one as one of the last bundle things I do expecting this to be a one off piece of luck for a newbie fisherman like me. Today I was fishing again for the hypnotic moray (which I still haven't got!!) with my upgraded exquisite rod and some bubbles appeared which I fished expecting stone or blob fish. Instead I caught a star quality void ray!!! OMG I thought, how lucky am I!!!!! I then fished the other bubbles that had appeared.... AND I CAUGHT ANOTHER STAR QUALITY VOID RAY!!!!!! TWO IN A ROW!! and then about 15 fish caught later I caught ANOTHER NORMAL VOID RAY!! Like these are meant to be epic fish?? And I caught 3 in the space of like 15 real life minutes?? And I still haven't ever caught so many rare fish. My luck must have been off the charts and I'm now expecting to not get anything I need for like a month

I used to not watch political content on YouTube. In 2017 I saw some of Steven Crowder's "Change My Mind" segments and I said "well I can't refute it, so he must be right" and made efforts to reorient my thinking to be more in line with his. Then in about 2019 I started seeing Vaush videos and said "wow he's even more difficult to argue with, he must he even more right" and reoriented my thinking again. He stopped regularly debating, and I stopped watching, and I don't watch too much of anything anymore, maybe a Destiny video here and there.
Anyway, I recently said to myself "that Alden's number clip was so funny, I should watch that again" but when I went to watch it, it wasn't. It only makes sense if you're already a fan of Vaush. Just like how Crowder's "impressions" are only funny if you're in on his joke and people who laugh with them feel like they know a greater truth, and Vaush's argument is only cogent if you're on his side and feel like you know a greater truth, how do I figure out if I'm currently just in an even bigger bubble of some kind ? I don't know if I was happier before I started watching people, I suppose all I can say about that time is that ignorance was bliss.

For some context I have been playing since 2016 and have about 4000 hours on overwatch, its my favorite game and pretty much the only one I play. I've had fun throughout every meta even when certain heroes are more powerful, but for some reason current roadhog is really bumming me out. Recently I've played several games where my team feels really coordinated, communicative, and skilled. These are the games that make me love overwatch, games where even if we lose you can tell that everyone tried their best and worked together. My problem with current roadhog is that now, when I get these awesome teams, no matter what tank we play, what counters we use, how well we play together, we are up against a oneshotting 2000 health wall.
The Numbers
Hog has a LOT of health, 800 base with 450 from breather, with a 50% damage reduction for its duration (with more head shot damage reduction from the tank passive)
Pig Pen has 100 health, and can activate 1 second after hitting the ground. I find this ability frustrating to play against because it feels like hog can throw pen at you and (even if you react in time) it tanks your shots, detonates, and now you're slowed with half health or dead. The 12 second cooldown on this ability I think is fair, though.
Hook's hitbox has a .5 meter radius for enemies, but no radius for walls or barriers. This is one of the reasons why hook can reach around walls and objects without breaking. 90% of the time you're hooked you're going to die. If the hog is good, he'll body block your escape option, or pull you around a wall so you can't be healed. The displacement is very strong on its own, but with hogs own shotgun burst damage, pig pen, or his teammates, without a saving ability like bubble, defense matrix, suzu, lamp, or pull, you will die. With a 6 second cooldown, I genuinely think that hogs hook combo in its current state is one of the strongest abilities the game has ever seen. Even when you have defensive abilities, hook can outpace all of their cooldowns.
Whole Hog can deal up to 6720 damage, 896 DPS, which isnt so bad against squishies because of the 14m/s knockback. The problem is that it deletes tanks. I've played with reinhardts recently who get hooked in with a near full 1200 shield, 700 health (including armor), they get whole hogged, and they're dead almost instantly. The knockback reduction tanks have make whole hog even more effective against them.
The Counters
Without an Ana hog seems nearly unstoppable, but even with Ana he feels very difficult to punish. Nade can weaken him about 1/4 to 1/2 of his healthpool with help from your teammates if he uses breather. The 50% damage reduction makes it so even if your entire team focuses him, he still seems to survive nade with 300-500 health. If he gets support from his team in any way he's going to live. Nade should NOT be a guaranteed kill on hog if he has support from his team or is playing using cover, but at the moment it seems that hog can get away with being out of position, tanking nade AND sleep dart, somehow killing two of my teammates, and walking away free.
Sigma is probably hogs best tank counter, grasp can eat whole hog and shield can block hooks. Hog can still play around these abilities and has better pick potential.
Mauga and Orisa both can be effective against hog, but in sustained teamfights where no team gets a pick, hog will outlive everything and does not need to give up space in the same way Mauga and Orisa do because of his healthpool and self healing / damage reduction.
Dva seems okay and can defense matrix hooks, but again hog just has so much health that if your team can't get an early first pick you're pretty much going to lose the fight.
I don't get many teammates playing reaper into hog (or in general) so I'm not entirely sure how that matchup works, but I know in general reaper struggles on open maps where hog is good, and even when reaper is close, take a breather's damage reduction can tank reap's shotguns, and reap can still lose the 1v1. I think an additional problem is that the dive tanks that can open space for reaper to move in are pretty bad against hog.
As for other dps, your best bet is picking off a squishy early on in the fight, which you should be trying to do anyways. The problem here is that if you cant do this, hog will outsustain your own tanks damage and eventually you lose the fight by default.
Conclusion
I think hog has too much health for how much kill potential he has. He feels very difficult to punish even when countering, the 50% damage reduction on breather is very strong, and hook being a 6 second cooldown instakill is really frustrating to play into. Pig pen activates too quickly or has too much health. I think that if I see hog throw pig pen then I should be able to consistently kill it before it activates. Whole hog is a tank deleter with little time to react to.
Personally, I preferred hog before the rework, even when he was meta in earlier seasons. Right now it feels to me that he just has too much, his numbers are too high and he has too much burst damage. The game feels like the team with roadhog wins, but in a way that never felt as a bad as when any other tank has been meta. I consistently find myself and my teammates losing to hog no matter how much "better" we seem to be playing the game, or how hard we try to counter him or play around him. Is it just a skill issue, is this character not completely busted in the way I feel he is?

This movie was very early in our collecting and it’s got a special place in my heart, marking it for special memory allocation. This was a “Little Mrs. Zedd” movie - a film she watched as a child and brought to the collection. One that I’d never even heard of. She was looking to make special connections with our little girl - in a mommy and me sort of way, but I was getting in on that action - Mrs. Lady Zedd culture is something I’m always happy to share in.
We needed something simple and comforting, today. Last week’s weather was bumpy and the need to have LMZ stay with us a few days has left us both feeling out of the groove. It’s always good to see Little Miss but not under these conditions. Mrs. Lady Zedd and I just needed ((shrug)) to reconnect.
While putting our needs through the noodle to figure out this afternoon’s film, the memories of that day, 20 years ago now, just showed up like an old friend. Up the stairs I went, careful around the mid-way corner, and back down, film in hand, in just under 35-minutes! Ok, that’s not particularly fast but standing amongst all those movies, I get side-tracked.
Speaking of MLZ, she says she saw it on cable, her mother wasn’t the “take your kid to the movies” type. I think, like me, she often used movies to escape. It’s one of my favorite things to do. Just, melt into a motion picture - let it pick you up and just whisk you away. When I can project into a story, everything disappears. Time, people in the room, me sitting in my chair, all… just gone. What you might call Suspension of Disbelief extreme (xtreme?) or what we call the Movie Bubble around here

Film done, I’m much more settled, MLZ has that dreamy look I love the most. Our scores, so close on film after film in recent weeks, have become divergent. Who cares? I certainly don’t - of course we’ll be ultra close on some, super far on others. I’m convinced literally anything can be expressed in terms of a bell curve, including “people that love bell curves”. ((Mathematics!)) Here we’re likely just seeing the buoyancy of childhood nostalgia - something I’m sure Little Miss Zedd will be able to share in, thanks to her mother.

There's gotta be a better way of doing bids... going through dozens of sheets having to read every damn thing - in fine print, no less- is just mind numbing and exhausting. Do the people that put together plan sets realize how difficult they make it? And often they add paragraphs of stuff that doesn't apply to the job, they just throw it in there to cover themselves... Is there an easy way to do it? I'm looking at 100 files for just one job and I'm losing it... there's gotta be an easier way of doing this! ?😭 how long does it normally take you guys to bid jobs?
