I'm trying to cope with my upcoming exams so I decided to relive my childhood by watching mainly 2d animated movies (cartoon films). I already rewatched the most popular ones (Disney main entries, Scooby-Doo movies, Batman movies - those are the first ones that came to mind as I was mainly watching series while growing up, wasn't so interested in movies back then). I recently rewatched Atlantis The Lost Empire. It reminded me how wonderful my childhood was (or how wonderful nostalgia makes it look). Anyway, it also reminded me of the late 90s early 00s graphic style and with that I wondered down on memory lane.
As a child, I remember watching a cartoon movie on my crappy CRT TV. I don't remember if it was broadcasted on FOX, Jetix, DIsney or Minimax but I vividly remember one frame from above the city; it was a large city with tall buildings (although I think the opening scene was perhaps happening in the suburbs...really don't know...)
The graphic style was simillar to Atlantis The Lost Empire as far as characters go (only a little less detailed) but the general graphic style of the movie was more simillar to Scooby-Doo! and the Cyber Chase. Imagine if those two had a child; then that was it. It's easier to visualize in my head than it is to explain.
The plot I can barely remember. It was probably something in the lines of: we're going on vacation (car full of things; even on the roof). You get the gist.
Another refference could be Animaniacs: Wakko’s Wish. Although a bit more "cartoonish"/goofy it has the same cross-century vibe to me. It might as well be a TV Series. It might even have animals instead of humans. I'm sorry that I don't remember much of it.
So to say, I'm looking for a 2D animated movie / cartoon film (however you want to call it) from late 90s early-mid 00s with a simillar graphic style to both Atlantis The Lost Empire and Scooby-Doo! and the Cyber Chase. Actions starts in a city but I'm pretty sure they go on vacation somewhere else (maybe another city?). It surely was at the cross of the century as the city resembled a today's metropole.
I've already searched for this type of movies but aside from the main Disney entries and some other random movies that don't even come close I had no luck.
My memory could be wrong so take everything that I said (albeit not much) with a grain of salt. I know it's not much, but maybe if you give me a few movies I could pin-point which one of them resembles it most. Thanks in advance.

I don't have a whole lot to go off of but from what I remember this was a live action fantasy movie about a struggle between light and dark, which included two corresponding unicorns. There was a scene at some point in which a chef character who was sort of short maybe with a moustache was peaking out from behind corners, then disappearing only to reappear popping out from behind something else, kind of like one of the door chase scenes from Scooby Doo.
I don't know why this movie stuck with me so much, or even if I'm remembering it correctly but for some reason I think about it all the time. I would really appreciate the help identifying it!

Hello, I am struggling to find any info on thus subject and wondered if there was an easy way to accomplish this. I love Scooby Doo and have watched it since I was a kid. I mostly watch where are you and what’s new over and over & the first 2 live actions & the animated movies 2010 & before, stuff from those eras. I do enjoy a pup named Scooby doo and the collection called “the new Scooby doo movies”
I noticed a few of the newer movies didn’t seem to be written as well and characters seemed off sometimes so haven’t watched much of the new stuff.
What are some newer Scooby shows and movies that are still good? :)

I'm always a sucker for putting Scooby and the Gang into new and unfamiliar territory (one of the reasons why I love Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island) so outside of having the gang in a space setting similar to Cowboy Bebop or Firefly, I'd love to see the gang investigate the highest echelons of political power and solve mysteries involving conspiracies that "go all the way to the top". Complete with dodging assassins and Deepthroat style informants. What do you guys think?

While waiting on AAA for 4 hours for a tow truck you discover 5 very large duffel bags that have been well hidden in the brush. Upon inspection you notice that they are caked with mud and dirt and are seriously weather worn. It’s clear that they’ve been there for several years, maybe a decade or more. You open one and find that it is stuffed with bundles of 100 dollar bills, a small amount of drugs, and a pistol. The pistol is rusted and the drugs are in bad shape, but the money is in good condition and you can tell from the design that the bills are older. You estimate that each bag has about a million dollars inside. You’re sure that anyone looking for this money is long gone.
What’s your next move? If you keep it how do you incorporate it into your life without arising suspicion?
Edit: as you spend the money, a little at a time, it dawns on you that all the serial numbers are the same. Besides the serial numbers, the bills are completely indistinguishable from genuine currency printed at that time.

For me it would be It’s Terror Time Again sung by Skycycle from the 1998 Scooby Doo on Zombie Island animated film. I know it’s kind of corny but I loved that movie growing up and recently rewatched it. I forgot how good that song is and I think Matt’s vocals would fit the song perfectly plus with how talented the other band members are I feel like they would make this song sound amazing.

Edit to add last question. Heads up this will probably be a long post, just bear with me 😅. So I just recently made a post about if Snakebite Scruggs knew about the werecats and the people they killed. Since then I’ve thought about several other things that I feel have been left unanswered in this movie. Since I highly doubt we’ll ever get a sequel or prequel that’s at least half as good as the first I thought it would be fun to discuss any of my questions below with other Scooby Doo fans.
-Do you think Snakebite ever saw any of the zombies? I mean according to some sources they reanimated every harvest moon (which I thought was interesting because I always thought they just reanimated the one time that the Mystery gang was on the island as like a freak accident kind of thing) so it would be hard for him not to see them especially since he was on the island during the events of Zombie Island. In the movie, Shaggy and Scooby ran near him (he also hooked Shaggy’s shirt with his fishing pole during this) while running away from zombies so it’s possible that they could’ve wondered over to him.
-This has partially been discussed in the comments on my last post but why did the werecats not target Snakebite?
-Why are the police just now investigating this after they’ve been doing this for a little over 200 years? I mean if they do this every harvest moon which for the most part occurs every 3 to 5 years (depending on your source) means they’ve done this about 40/67 times depending on which amount of years is correct.
-Why are Morgan Moonscar’s eyes red when he is first reanimated but the next shot of him they’re an off white color?
-What would Moonscar or the other zombies had done if they actually managed to get their hands on the gang? We know they aren’t evil and according to certain sources they were fully aware which is why they were trying to warn them but I still wonder what they would’ve done.
-Why did Jacques do a full transformation while Simone and Lena only did partial transformations at first before fully transforming later? Can they control how/when they transform?
-Simone said that the house was very old and she wasn’t surprised that it contained pieces from Moonscars ship but in the movie when we see her flash back to when this all began we see her home being built by the spice traders. This couldn’t have taken place long after Moonscar arrived on the island so if they found his ship wouldn’t they have been curious as to why it was just left there? Wouldn’t that have made them question where the owners of this ship went and why it was abandoned? Also, why would they just destroy a perfectly good ship to use to build a house when they could’ve just used it themselves and there’s plenty of surrounding trees?
-How many people do the werecats need to steal souls from in order to maintain their immortality? With the spice traders it seemed like there was a lot of people there. If only some of them went missing wouldn’t the others become suspicious and start investigating?
-How exactly do you think Jacques became a werecat? We know Simone mentioned they needed a ferry driver and that he wanted immortality but was he possibly a would be victim but he offered a service in exchange to become one of them or do you think he found out by accident and asked to become one of them?
-What if Morgan Moonscar wasn’t actually an evil pirate? All we have is Simone’s side of the story and she could be lying about the events that took place 200 years ago along with lying about who he was. We never heard Morgan’s side so for all we know Simone and Lena could’ve already been werecats on the island and Morgan and his crew were there minding their own business when she and Lena attacked them. Then as time went on fabricated the heinous pirate story as like a cover up or something. I get that it’s unlikely but it’s a nice what if especially since serial killers tend to lie among other things to make themselves seem innocent in order to gain more victims.

or just me? it's not that i don't like the new ones - i love them! they're awesome. i just think they're both cool, like the two cakes meme. same way i felt about firefly and sam being the same person actually, like, holy shit! a cute well designed girl AND an awesome mecha! just funny to think about :)
