Offering highest for Beach House stuff but the Bunk Bed is lowest priority on the list since I have like no worth.

When I opened my pool a couple of weeks ago it was very dirty so there were a couple of iterations of removing the grid system from my Pentair DE filter and cleaning them off in order to get everything nice and clean for the rest of the season. This included the company that opened the pool for me, and myself a couple of times. Because the pool was very cloudy originally, it's hard to tell when DE started getting back into the pool, but nonetheless, it is there. My dad and I rebuilt the grid system last week and I believe I did not have the manifold seated on the standpipe properly which is what I am assuming was the cause of the DE leak (was not fully flush). The grids all look to be in good shape, but I guess there is always the chance of a very small tear I did not notice.
I've been trying to get all of the DE up off the pool floor with my robot vacuum, vacuuming with filter engaged, and sweeping it into the bottom drain. I am not sure if this is even the right move as everything I see from my research says you basically need to vacuum the DE to waste. I am trying to grasp why that is needed? If I charge the DE filter by putting DE into the filter basket, isn't sweeping it into the bottom drain or vacuuming with the filter engaged the same thing? Also, if my methods of trying to get it out are not working, it seems like the DE is either getting recirculated throughout the pool, or there is still a small DE leak if my current method is working.
Image attached is the DE before we vacuumed into the filter. It seems less now, but it does still accumulate in certain areas.
Also side question: in the other picture attached of the dirty grids, does this seem like normal build up? My dad and I thought it looked pretty brown, but also thought maybe the DE leak was causing it to look weird? Also there is a bit of grittiness on the top of the manifold that almost looks like sand but hoping that seems normal as well and there isn't some sort of debris leaking into the pool via pipes/liner. I did get a new liner last season but I am not loosing any water so I am thinking there is not any holes anywhere letting debris in.

The current stable is a 2021 Yamaha Tenere 700 and a 2019 Husqvarna TX300.
I recently moved from the midwest to a small beach town. I used to ride single track and fire roads for fun. Now I'm looking for something to cruise around town or to the next town over with a little bit of gravel road ability. The TX300 is a race bike that drinks mixed gas and would be a pain even if it was street legal. Great offroad though, and can be raced. The Tenere is just too much to justify when it only touches gravel occasionally and I rarely take it on more than a 25-30 mile trip.
Looking to replace one or both bikes to cover fun beach town cruises and faster offroad riding/racing. Sport bikes are popular in the area but I don't think they'd be fun around town. Same with cruisers. But I'm open to suggestions. Currently looking at small naked bikes and dual sports.
Current thoughts:
Grom: Good and fun for around town, low and light enough a gravel road wouldn't concern me. Probably wouldn't be good to go to the next town over, speed limit is 55 but people drive 70. Good price, lots of aftermarket parts, big community. Would have to keep the TX for any actual offroad riding.
Scrambler 400X: Good around town, love the look. About the edge of what I'd be comfortable cruising a gravel road on. Not familiar with Triumph but willing to learn. Would still keep the TX for offroad.
XSR700: Good around town. Like the look, love the engine. A little big for much confidence on gravel and dirt. Bulletproof engine, already familiar with the platform. Always a fan of Yamaha. Would still keep the TX for offroad.
CRF300L or Kawi equivalent: Good around town, no issue with beach or gravel. Could make it to the next town over comfortably. Really only downside is I'd like to keep the TX for racing and they're very similar bikes. Could supermoto it to distinguish itself a little and add a little fun.
500 EXC-F: Could do it all, but maybe not the best at anything. Could do supermoto for around town and swap some real dirt wheels for the offroad riding/racing. Replacing both bikes would help justify the price. But a single bike stable can be boring and it's not quite the beach town vibe.

Here is my 1990 Specialized Hardrock that I picked up off marketplace for a great price (see last photo for reference). I’ve been looking for a project bike for months to turn into a bmx inspired cruisecommuter and the Hardrock was near the top of my list. I bought the bike in the beginning of May and you can see the progress I’ve made since then.
I started off by giving it a good clean with dish soap and water which ended up brining the paint back to life. The bike had been sitting outside for sometime so it was covered in dirt and pollen. Next I upgraded the pedals to a set of SE Bear traps followed by a new set of Maxxis DTH 26x2.3 tires and a new SDG saddle. The following week I got my new steer tube, stem, bars, thumb shifters and grips and threw it all together and took it on a test ride. Since then I have been enjoying the bike taking it out on a few 20 miles rides to get everything dialed.
Next up I plan on changing to a 44t 1x crankset and then a new Cassette (possibly changing from 7 to 9 gears). Lastly I’d like to get a matching wheel set and then start buttoning everything up with small detail pieces. I’m still considering getting a Nitto Front rack and basket setup to make it an even better commuter.
