Hcg 5mg

Almost 2 years- No recovery?!

2024.05.14 06:11 YahYeeta Almost 2 years- No recovery?!

Right, good day everyone,
23M/81-82kg/6'0"
So long story short- have ran 3 steroid cycle. First was 2 years ago, last one ended 6 months ago. Not above a gram. No 19nors. Just test + DHTs. Longest cycle 16 weeks, using HCG @1500iu weekly each time.
Edit: LH is always between 2-4. Was 2-4 range when at 400, only time it's been 5 was when at 800ng/dL. It's at 3 as of last test (Test was 7nmol, LH 3, FSH 2)
Pre cycle bloods had me at around 400ng/dL/14-16nmol.
After first cycle (Test @ 350, tapered up 500mg) I pct'd to 800ng/dL (28nmol?). Used Nolvadex @ 40/20/20/20. Also Clomid @ 12.5/12.5/12.5/0.0
Bloods taken 6 weeks after stopping PCT- doubled my Test levels (increased muscle, better diet + sleep) which was awesome! Should have stopped here. Didn't.
After the second cycle, came back at 200ng/dL (7nmol) used same PCT protocol. I was training very hard so I expected this- I actually got way leaner and kept 90% of the strength- despite having this low level (was obviously in a calorie defecit) doing MMA + gym.
PCT'd 3 more times after this:
Nolva only. 20mg/4 weeks. 2 months break- still 7nmol. Still kept same bodyweight so maintenance calories (4.5k)
Clomid only. 25mg/4 weeks. 2 months break- still 7nmol.
Jumped back on Test for 4 months after this.
Then PCT'd again. Enclomiphene only. 12.5mg/4 weeks, followed by a 2 weeks break, then 10mg of Nolva for 4 weeks.
That was the last PCT i've done- still 7nmol following this.
I assumed I was underfuelling- so since then i've gained ~8kg+. My appetite is also insane right now- I never feel full.
Almost entirely fat. No strength increase.
My physique looks like shit, I feel like shit. Have gone so far backwards.
So, I took 3 whole weeks off training pretty much. Did 3 weight sessions, 45 mins each. Nothing else.
Stopped tracking food, but was consuming well over 5000+ calories of almost entirely meat, eggs, cheeses, saturated fats and oils. Yes I know it's hard to say 5000+ calories but remember i've tracked food for 2 years +, I know it was at LEAST 5000 calories.
My appetite is insane.
It's was quite an extreme diet, very high fat, high protein, low carb.
Just re-tested at 4.5nmol-100ng/dL after this rest and refeed and gaining 3kg+ alone during this period. Obviously all fat. No muscle, wasn't training.
I was overtraining and underfuelling for quite some time but i've gained significant weight over the past 4-5 months, but look and feel like shit.
Had abs, veins, strength for 2 years- no matter my test levels, but now it's caught up and it's all gone. Literally back to square 1.
I'm probably going to pin some test P @140mg per week (within the next week), as well as some Tirzepatide @ 2.5mg to shed the shit weight.
Does anyone have any other suggestions before I jump back on TRT+GLP?
Am I stuffed?
I kept between 8-10% bodyfat the whole time I was cycling on/off.
Did lots of MMA, lots of running, lots of weights. Was eating 4000+ calories the whole time, but lost/gained randomly. Usually weight was between 73-77kg.
I wasn't massive, but strong and lean the whole time. Got heaviest at 88kg on cycle (1st) and peaked at 80kg last cycle.
Lost a few KG during PCT down to 73-74kg- but now back into 81-82kg range.
Now i'm likely 20%+ bodyfat at lower strength and i'm suffering a lot.
What's the smart/logical next step to take here? I have got a script for TRT now. But i'm not sure what to do. I'm 23!
Cheers all

2024.05.13 17:49 -CS-- Advice on recent bloods, please.

Advice on recent bloods, please.
Hi guys. Below are recent bloods. Been trying to dial in now for a year and this is the lowest my T has ever come back and is still over range (10mg Prop/Day) (only started Prop few weeks before this test, was previously on 157.5mg Enanthate / week so T was a lot higher. Prop seems to give me more T per mg, though.
I have no libido currently, however my E2 looks high as fuck, but if you consider E2:T it’s 14.7? Which I think is pretty standard, low if anything. I’d like some opinions on that if possible.
I’m going to lower dose to 8mg/day Prop. I wanted to add HCG now but I’m going to hold off until I have more in-line levels I think.
I’d just like some opinions because my previous blood work (although EVERTHING was higher (T was 2000ng/dL rather than 880) it looked healthier.
I assume my HDL was crushed because I was on proviron before this test, so I’m not really concerned there. Prolactin is dumped because of caber. PSA has always been in range so I assume proviron is the culprit.
Any thoughts would be more than welcome.

2024.05.12 22:31 NosyTycoon Alcohol and e2 symptoms

A few months ago I came off TRT and began HcG 650iu EOD + Enclomiphene 25mg EOD (temporarily, for fertility purposes). I also take anastrazole 0.5mg 3x / week to keep my e2 in check.
I’ve also been an avid (nightly) drinker for several years, and decided to quit a few days ago. I understand alcohol can raise e2, but would dropping it after years of use have the immediate opposite effect?
Curious because I’m experiencing a lot of low e2 symptoms — brain fog, exhaustion, dehydration, joint pain, headaches…but I’m not sure how much of this to attribute to e2 vs. alcohol withdrawal symptoms (I quit 4 days ago but didn’t have any symptoms until yesterday).
I’m getting bloodwork done tomorrow, but curious if anyone else had a similar experience with alcohol/e2 and whether quitting drinking warrants a change in my AI dose?

2024.05.12 04:59 Bitter_Cress_4656 I think I might have crashed e2?!

I recently came off of a blast of 400mg for 12 weeks about 5-6 weeks ago. I was taking .5mg adex twice a week with pins. Half way through the blast I got bloods done and estradiol came back 46 pg/ml.
Well I've found blood work from my trt dose of 200mg a week with .25mg adex twice a week with pins and my estradiol was at 25 pg/ml.
After my blast I went back to my trt dose of 200mg and like a complete idiot stayed at .5 mg adex twice a week. I don't know what I was thinking but my diet was out of control and I was drinking more than I should have due to stress from life (wife, kids, and my business).
I was having really painfull nipples for the last 3 weeks and again, like a complete moron without getting bloodwork done, I upped my adex to .75mg twice a week for one week.
A couple of days before the last .75mg dose I was experiencing crippling anxiety, brain fog, intrusive thoughts, suicidal, felt like I was sick but wasn't, overall body aches, extreme dehydration even though I drink a little more than 1 gallon of water a day.
I'm not due for bloodwork yet, but I can get some done this coming week.
Is it safe to assume I have crashed my e2? Nothing else in my routine has changed, nothing new added or taken away. I am also not on any other medications.
It's currently been roughly 10-11 days of dealing with these symptoms and 8 days since my last adex dose.
On hand I have extra test and hcg I can take. I can also get some dbol but it won't be here for a week.
What do you guys think?

2024.05.12 04:17 just_peachy777 Anyone ever get a positive after testing negative 10dpo?

For context I (24f) was diagnosed with PCOS in 2021, main probs are extremely high testosterone, high dhea sulfate, borderline high insulin, & stubborn weight gain (slower but obvious weight gain w/ no change in routine going from 100lbs to 120lbs in a few months after high school and maintained 120-130lbs but then in 2021 started to shoot from 120lbs to 190lbs in about a year & a half even after diet changes etc & have consistently been 185-190lbs (I’m 5’2) for the last year), & then obviously infertility has been a struggle.
My SO (25m) & I have put a pause on actively trying & tracking so this cycle would be more of a happy accident, however, had been on letrozole 2.5mg for three months prior & had no luck yet did have positive ovulation tests on easy@home & pregmate strips. However, thanks to inositol & prenatals my cycle has started to regulate to around 34 days in contrast to the usual 120 ish days it was before with provera needed to induce.
This is probably the first cycle I ovulated naturally in years. I took an ovulation test on a whim after we had did the deed two & three nights prior, day of peak, & day after. Well, this test I got the most blazing positive I ever had, basically became a dye stealer kind of positive. I am 10DPO right now & have had the worst cramps possible since around 6DPO. I know that can just be PMS as well but I usually don’t cramp like this. Boobs are also super sore & have been extremely nauseous but I know that’s also related to PMS & could just be a rise in progesterone since I would test positive already if HCG was high enough to produce symptoms.
I have tested stark white negative with FMU & just tested at 8pm as well w/ another negative. I took an ovulation test too as I heard w/ early HCG the tests sometimes cannot distinguish between HCG & LH so you may get a positive OPK if pregnant. I did not, also pretty faint line indicating low LH. So, for that reason I am also thinking I may be out.
I know everyone says you aren’t out until AF shows up but statistically it’s looking like I am. I just don’t understand if I got that blazing of a positive OPK & have had positives in the past & the timing is right why it isn’t happening, it just feels like my body is broken.
Also to add: I have gotten pregnant once before randomly at 20 before my pcos got worse but had a loss at 7 weeks but that has been my only instance of conception when I’ve never had protected sex in my life w/ any numerous partners I’ve had since 16. Also, my partner does have a child (2.5yo) from a prior relationship & 2 losses so I don’t believe any issues are on his end.
Anyone get a positive after a later negative or suggestions for supplements or tips for when we are ready to try again if this isn’t it? Currently taking wholesome story myo & d-chiro inositol powder, Mary Ruth’s women’s liquid multivitamin with hormonal support, 540mg maca root, 100mg coq10, smartypants gummy prenatal (bad at taking pills), & baby aspirin. Should I add or switch anything else?

2024.05.11 23:30 jakesonwu Test E vs Test P. E2 difference, experiences ?

I have been dealing with zero libido with all bloods in range. E2 was at 32 last blood test. I have tried so many things even a calorie surplus and a dopamine detox which sucks but has helped a bit but still not back to how I was prior to TRT, erections are not the issue, it is drive that is the issue.
I want to try Test Prop daily injections to see if that helps. I am currently on 100mg enanthate twice a week, 12.5mg aromasin with each shot, and 350IU HCG 3x per week.
The equivalent Test Prop dose accounting for ester weight is 176mg per week. So If I move to daily injections 176mg per week (25mg per day) would this effect my E2 ? I don't want E2 to go much lower because I am already on the low end and if my E2 goes any higher than 40 I get puffy nips and gyno like crazy on the left side. Already scheduled for surgery next month to remove the gyno I have for the third time and I really don't want to have to schedule a 4th surgery or spend a huge amount to get the glands removed.

2024.05.11 04:13 Ok-Yak-XX97 Letrozole combined with Dexamethason?

Hello! My first IUI was assisted with 2.5mg of Letrozole and an HCG trigger shot which ended in a chemical at week 4 and 1 day. This time around (IUI attempt #2) my doctor prescribed me 5mg of Letrozole on CD3; went in for my scan at CD11 and found out that my follicles aren’t responding as well to the medication like the first attempt :( So my doctor prescribed me with another round of Letrozole 5mg and a steroid called Dexamethason. Has anyone ever been prescribed Letrozole and a steroid at the same time? How was your experience while taking it and is there any symptoms I should keep a lookout for? Thanks in advance!🤍

48M Experiencing Low Libido and Persistent ED After TRT/HCG, Seeking Advice
Hey all, I'm struggling with a significant drop in libido and persistent erectile dysfunction since starting TRT & HCG. Despite daily Cialis(5mg) and occasional sublingual Viagra(100mg), ED remains a major issue. I even tried PT-141 with some success but not as much as I hoped, albeit with a cautious dosage to minimize side effects. Recently, I started taking DIM (200mg) to address potential aromatization, which I self-prescribed after discussing it with my doctor. However, he suggested increasing workout frequency to four times a week, stating it could help with libido and ED. He also mentioned the importance of estrogen in preventing prostate cancer.
I'm wondering if I'm experiencing aromatization or if there's something else going on. Here are my weekly dosages:
  • Testosterone cypionate (started in February): 160mg divided into 2 doses (Tue/Fri)
  • HCG (started in March): 900 units divided into 3 doses (M/W/F)
Any insights or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
  • T levels before taking anything:
    • T- 853 (range: 250-1100)
    • Free T - 95.5 (range: 35-155)
    • PSA - 1.1
  • T levels after 3 months:
    • T- 2187 (range: 250-1100)
    • Free T - 483.3 (range: 35-155)
    • PSA - 1.4

2024.05.08 15:31 ContentCauliflower57 12 DPO IUI #1

Have my hcg test scheduled for Friday but I let it get the best of me and tested today and it was negative. The iui process was so long & hard to be honest. It ended up being 5 monitoring appointments, then the actual IUI. By the end of it my arm was sore from all the bloodwork.
I did end up ovulating on CD21 which I see as pretty late, my estradiol was low leading up but by day of IUI it was 200, I only matured one follicle.
As I prepare to hear the news from my RE I wanted to see if anyone can give insight if anyone’s had a similar IUI and if they changed something which ended up in success the following cycle. For reference I was on 7.5mg of letrozole with a ovidril TS

ON TRT since Jan. No libido No morning wood
Long story short I have been on TRT since Jan At first doctor put me on 25unit of Test Cyp 3x/week Things were good. Libido and morning wood were good. Then couple of weeks in the cycle I started feeling not great. I did blood work. Doc adjusted my dose to 20Units 3x/week. Felt good again then back again to sensitive nipples, emotional, mood is not good, no sex drive etc.. then lowered the dose again.
Also I’m on HCG, and 5mg daily Tadalafil. I take my vitamins. B6, b12, D, zinc etc…
I’m 42 years old
I’m really not convinced about what my clinic is telling me.
I reached out to another clinic. They told me to bring my dose up to 50units on 1cc 2x/week and add ANASTROZOLE
My blood work attached.

2024.05.06 19:14 AndriesvanRiezen Using Anavar to reduce SHBG while on Tamoxifen

I am on Tamoxifen 20mg every second day plus 600 iu HCG 3 times a week for fertility. My SHBG came back very high. Would taking like 2.5 or 5mg Anavar a day effect my LH and FSH output? Protocol is for fertility so cannot be on Test. Some say it would still try to shut me down, but wouldn't my testosterone be higher anyway due to Tamox and HCG? and that is not shutting me down. I know my body is pumping out Testosterone due to HCG and Tamox tricking it into thinking there is 0 E2.

2024.05.05 22:09 Legitimate_Bath_7756 Premom T/C ratio doesn’t match my blood tests LH levels!!

Premom T/C ratio doesn’t match my blood tests LH levels!!
I had a 16 week loss in early Feb and just returned to my fertility clinic to start trying again.
I can’t understand my charts at all.
My blood tests at monitoring have shown that my LH is hovering around 7mIU/mL. But the Premom ratios have ranged from .14 to .77 on those same days of the blood tests. That would make absolutely no sense.
My last couple days have also shown a LH ratio of .85 and noted as the “peak” though I haven’t ovulated yet based on my last scan.
I read that Letrezole can affect LH test strips, but then read elsewhere that it shouldn’t affect it unless I’m on the medicine (my last pill was 6 days ago now).
Please shed some insight if you have any!

4ish years on TRT-- still running high levels. Safe? + some random other questions
Just wanted to do a check-in on my levels and if I should be have any concerns about how high my levels are.
I'm prescribed through my general practitioner, so I'm kinda self-managing a bit, I was running my levels high and trying to 'chase' that honeymoon period. I would typically get my blood work done at a 72 hour trough (dose AMs Mon & Thurs, usually get blood work done Thurs AM).
I made some overall health changes that and feeling pretty solid these days. I've also added in HCG in Jan of this year, first at 500iu/.25ml twice a week subQ, then increasing to 1000iu/.5ml twice a week subQ in mid march. I was taking .5 of an Anastrozole once a week for like, YEARS. And I finally stopped at end of Feb as. you can see my levels were super low, and finally in a decent spot?
Current protocol from beginning of 03/24
Test Cyp - 80mg/.4ml twice a week (M & Th) IM in Quad (160 total a week)
HCG - 1000iu/.5ml twice a week (M & Th) subQ in belly (2000iu total a week)
Finasteride - 1mg daily
Cialis - 5mg daily
Previous protocol from 01/21 - 03/24
Test C - 100mg/.5ml twice a week IM in Quad (200 total a week)
Anastrozole - .5mg once a week (usually tuesday)
Finasteride - 1mg daily
Cialis - 5mg daily
https://preview.redd.it/5kz8limwz8yc1.png?width=1238&format=png&auto=webp&s=0f7e6e168bdd28801d07e64cbc90fda800cb89c0
RANDOM QUESTIONS:
  • Overall-- are these levels just way too high? I backed off the Test Cyp a bit when getting on HCG (mostly to see if the effects on mood/ball size/penile sensitivity and overall enjoyment would be beneficial to me), also to note, my testing done on 2/29 was still when I was on half the HCG dose I am now. Will that have a big effect on levels?
  • Injections: I've been doing alternating quad injections for years, it seems to be the most easiest, but I am worried about scar tissue. I have been using a .5" 27 gauge for awhile now. I've tried to start to swap in delts but I'd always hit vein or something and get a ton of blood or soreness. Glute just feels so hard to reach? SubQ for the HCG has been so easy, can I do subQ for Test Cyp? Would I need to be dosing more often of I do?
  • Estradiol & Anastrozole: As I mentioned and shown above, my E levels were tanked for a while, I stopped taking Anastrozole near mid-end of Feb, and wanted to wait 6-8 weeks before testing my levels again. Now I'm at 31. Did enough time pass for my levels to even out after stopping to take Anastrozole? Will my E levels continue to change or is 8 weeks enough time for my levels to balance out? I'm terrified of gyno lol. I think I have a tiny bit of puberty gyno, but I also am not sure what to look out for? I've always had what kinda feels like beanie baby stuffing when squeezing my pecs, but thought that was just fat. If my chest/nips become sensitive, where would i feel it?
thanks all for any tips or insights

2024.05.02 10:38 Neverdark1990 Changing from Test Cyp to Sustanon or Nebido

Hi everyone,
For a couple of years I've been on Test Cyp and HCG daily subq injections. Ranging from 10-12,5mg test and 80-100 IU HCG. It's working well for me except that HCG keeps my estrogen on the high side.
My current clinic is abroad because there weren't any viable options in my country. However, I just found a doctor in my country who can possibly prescribe me Sustanon or Nebido. I will be able to administer myself and I am free to choose an injection frequency that works for me. I've been going very smooth on test cyp (also painless injections and never any lumps) and am a bit worried about making the transition to Sustanon or Nebido. Sustanon makes no sense in my mind because of the multiple esters and nebido has a crazy long half life. Is there a better choice in one of these and will I even notice any difference switching? Any experiences?

2024.05.02 02:12 Lost_Conflict1401 Slow rising HCG, wondering if ectopic

Hi everyone, I am 33F, I have very irregular cycles and was diagnosed with PCOS. My husband and I have been TTC for about 1.5 years, my gyno finally started me on Letrozole 5mg and we got pregnant first round.
I wanted to get tested for HCG the minute I got a positive because I knew it was important, my lines were not getting darker which concerned me. But none of the doctors in my area was willing to see me because it was my first pregnancy, and no history of miscarriages or complications. The earliest I was able to get a blood test was 22DPO, at 22DPO my HCG was 215, Progesterone: 8.94 which I already had a gut feeling that was bad, but I did another blood test at 25DPO and it was 350 and 7.1 progesterone. My doctor told me the pregnancy is likely not viable, which I expected. She says there might be a chance that it is an ectopic pregnancy, she’s not 100% positive since she cannot visualize it on ultrasound (due to low HCG).
I was wondering if anyone has been in my situation, and how did it end up? I was wondering if I should take the methotrexate in case that it is an ectopic, or should I just wait and see if they can locate the pregnancy? I have mild lower back aches and mild dull side cramps, but not to the point it’s unbearable, feels like I’m going to get a heavy period. No bleeding at all.
I am just worried that ectopic can cause a rupture :/, and since my pregnancy is not likely viable anyway, should I take the methotrexate for preventative measures? Will the methotrexate end my pregnancy even if it is not ectopic? Or should I wait it out and hope that it’s just an in uterine pregnancy that’s not viable so I can miscarry on my own/d+c ?
Thank you in advance for your help

2024.04.26 23:02 DreamerEngineer Early Pregnancy and Stress

Did not think I would be posting for a while but I am! I was diagnose with PCOS early this year and we have been trying to conceive for almost a year. This is my first round of letrozole at 2.5mg and got my BFP on Monday April 22 using the early detection test. I am still in shock as I thought it would take several round of Letrozole for it to work. Given I tested positive so early my HCG levels were at 13.5 and was told I need to go in and get more blood work next week Tuesday to confirm everything else is going well. I am obviously terrified something can go wrong, I thought I would be so ecstatic but I feel more worried about something going wrong. My husband is keeping a positive attitude but this pregnancy seems surreal.
Any advice on how to manage everything?
I will update once I get my 2nd lab result! I feel like only then I will feel a little better.

I, honestly, am just looking for some support right now because no one else really gets it. I had an appointment with my doctor and it was decided that we lower my dose back from 1mg to 0.5mg so that I can actually eat something other than applesauce. I was so excited to be able to stay on, but go back down and was super hopeful. I go to pick up the prescription from the pharmacy and it's over $1400! My husband's company got bought out and our insurance and everything changed. Well, apparently my new insurance does not cover Wegovy...or any other weight loss medications. I am a SAHM of twin toddler boys (one of which has several medical conditions) so there is absolutely no way I could afford $1400 once, much less every month!
I am so depressed. All I have done over the past two days is cry. Everyone just keeps telling me there are other ways to lose weight, but there isn't for me! I've tried everything, just about: Optavia, Weight Watchers, Noom, keto, high protein/low carb, HCG shots, a weight loss plan given to me by a doctor, nutritionist plans, intermittent fasting, just not eating but like a few small bites of stuff throughout the day. Yes, I incorporated exercise into all of those. I have PCOS and insulin resistance and I really think that's why this medicine helped me so much.
I am so scared of gaining my weight back. I am so scared of looking at my body and being disgusted again (I'm just now getting kind of okay with it). I'm just at a complete loss. Sorry for the rant or whatever it is. I'm not even sure if it's allowed. I just don't really have anyone that understands.

2024.04.23 13:49 harriz_ TRT & HCG while on Cabergolin

40yr male diagnosed in 2015 with makroprolactinoma 14mm and prolactin 453 ng/ml (2.6 - 13.1 ng/ml).
Went first under bromocryptine therapy which was aweful due to side effects mainly mental issues. Switched to Cabergolin and took it for 5 years which brought the level within range 6.8, however with very high dose of 5mg caber per week. Then in the middle of covid and due to the heavy side effects I just decided to stop Cabergolin therapy.
Today 4 years later my hormone levels ofc are out of whack, but my wife and I plan to have children. So I went to my endocrinologist again and we started caber again. First blood work for prolactin was 76.3. He decided to start with 1,5mg caber per week. After 3 months it is 10.1 within range again which I am very happy with, but my testosterone is still below min level 0.91 ng/ml (1.75 - 7.81 ng/ml).
And today I had a consultation with my endocrinologist and I asked him for TRT. He explained the TRT procedure is contra productive when planning to have children. Even when I dropped the idea to go along with HCG - this is what I have read on reddit to maintain fertility - he said this is not the ideal way to approach. We need to ensure that my body naturally will produce testosterone. Therefore, he decided to maintain Cabergolin therapy to reach prolactin level below minimal range level which is < 2.6 ng/ml and looking how testosterone level will behave. Further, if there is no increase we will add betaHCG in order to stimulate LH. And if this will not succeed at all he is willed to go along with TRT but I have to live with consequences.
Does anyone have same issues or challenges and share some experiences? Thanks

2024.04.22 03:06 CamelFlimsy8367 First Cycle. Will update as I go. 32m. Any advice

I have decided to make the jump. 32 years old, 525 natural T levels, 60 free test levels. Blood work done prior, everything normal.
Will start with 300mg test cyp a week M/W/F at 100mg a shot for first couple weeks. Will see how and I feel and then possibly adjust to 400. Going to be a 16 week cycle (4months)
I have Arimidex and will implement use during cycle at .5mg weekly if I see side effects of elevated estrogen.
PCT already in hand: Nolvadex 40mg daily for first two weeks. 20mg daily for next 2-4 weeks. Additionally, will take the Arimidex at .5mg twice a week for the first two weeks.
Total PCT time 4-6 weeks. Will see how I feel and how the blood work comes back and will extend if needed.
Still looking to have another kid in the future. HCG will be another option for my PCT but not sure if I should stack that in with my Nolva / Adex. Would prefer to see my bloods 6weeks post PCT and then add in HCG if I don’t recover properly.
Thoughts, comments, opinions? Looking for genuine feedback. I have done all the research…I am prepared to go down this road. Any “experts” recommend improvement on my proposed first cycle ?
Appreciate the help.
