2024.05.14 04:30 Western_Ad_9249 1440p Gaming and productivity PC ITX build

I've been looking around because I'm planning to build a new PC this summer to replace my old laptop. Its specs are 16g ram, core i7 11800h, and rtx3060. I want an ITX build that can comfortably play 1440p games and also looks nice as my priority is honestly space and overall functionality. I'm open to buying gpus on ebay or other resellers as I also heard those are good deals. If anyone can help me with gathering a potential parts list it would be much appreciated THANKS.

2024.05.14 04:28 PersonalizedGameRecs [/r/boardgames PGR] Hi, my work is going to have a team building event that is an "LCR tournament." Looking this up, I'm guessing they mean the game Left Center Right. Looking at some videos on the rules, it seems that you just roll dice and pass chips, am I correct? It would seem there is no agency

Looking to sell two EVGA RTX 3070 FTW3 Ultra gpus I am no longer using. I build and sell custom gaming PCs but don't need these two anymore for builds.
Both are in excellent condition, fully tested and ready to go. Sad EVGA doesn't make gpus anymore.
Asking $285 shipped, less for local, OBO.
Local is 94526.

2024.05.14 04:21 Specialist_Bowl4822 US $400 or less

LAPTOP QUESTIONNAIRE
Would like to spend as little as possible for what I want
I don’t know much about laptops but I want it to last a while. If a used computers lifespan is significantly shorter then no, I’m not open to refurbished/used
I would like it to be the typical laptop form - no detachable keyboard or anything like that
N/A
All I need to run on it is Obsidian, being able to run mildly taxing games would be a nice bonus
Decent keyboard
I don’t need anything fancy; as stated above I want to run Obsidian smoothly over several years and I don’t want to spend more than what is necessary.

2024.05.14 04:20 Affectionate-League9 Heisenberg and the Chocolate Factory

Okay, I just completed the Factory and....still processing my feelings about the game as this is my first playthru. Horror has indeed left the building and we're completely in action RPG land. I mean there's the intense fights kind of horror and the mutated people.
The thing that bugs me about the factory is the same thing that bugs me about the Castle Dimitriscu and also the village in general. SUch a confusing maze that sendcs me going in circles for hours. The village was annoying for this especially becausse there were so many invisible walls. Oh I can't move through this bush or past this tree?
The factory is worse tho because the map at this point is useless to me. I know there are probably people out there with a supercomputer 3D brain that can easily figure out where they need to go with multiple maps in 3 dimensions as WELL as have great sense of direction....but I am not that person. especially with the latter.
I will say that propellorguy was very scary. NOne of the other tropes really were. Even when I had to walk past the 5 dudes on the wall I was like whatever...you used this trope before in RE4!
Was just waiting for them to come to life. Whatever.
I will say that I am FINALLY getting low on ammo for the first time in the game. I'm guessing when I play hardcore, I won't have that luxury. Basically I used my explosives for the big guys and used my handgun for the zombies.
OMFG if I have to go past those machine cranks one more time I swear to god.
oh yeah....Heisenberg's final form as he ran off to kill Miranada was SOOOOOOO COOL! Can't wait to see more in action.
I would also like to say that I seriously hate Ethan and hope something really horrible happens to him. His dialogue is the worst I've ever seen in a horror game.
And seriously he's not even willing to listen to Heisenberg after listening and readin all his stuff.
Like...that actually might be the best chance to get your daughter back really.
I also liked the Chris cut scene at the end. But it's kinda stupid that Chris never told him all this stuff before then.

2024.05.14 04:19 Call_It_Luck What specific scenarios would benefit me for R6?

For reference, I'm not an incredible aimer, but I can do somewhat decent.
I would like to start with maybe 5 diff scenarios that would build the fundamentals for R6 aiming, then I can increase difficulty from there. Looking for specific scenarios and why they are the most beneficial to start with, in your opinion.
Please don't just respond with "search for R6 playlist in kovaaks". I've tried many of the kovaaks playlists for other games and didn't find them enjoyable a lot of the time. I like being able to pick and choose scenarios and create my own combination.
Thank you

2024.05.14 04:17 grizzle91 New addition to my Nurgle aligned Mechanicum and a question

New addition to my Nurgle aligned Mechanicum and a question
I’m slowly building a Nurgle aligned Mechanicum force. Started with the old combat patrol, added a Manipulus, now this Ironstrider Balistarii next. I have several bigger armies where I am so far behind in painting that with my admech I am only building a new unit once I paint the last one.
My question:
I have a Plagueburst Crawler halfway done from my Death Guard army I had set aside for the time being. Any chance it’s the right size to proxy (in casual games) as a Skorpius Disintegrator? Looking in the app that looks like the only thing that might be a similar shape and size.

2024.05.14 04:17 rivenitup69 Competitive coaching

I’m really getting into magic again after about a decade and a half break and I’ve been playing just about every format to try to see what really captures my interest. I’ve been following pro events quite a bit and I’ve fallen in love with standard. My goal is to someday compete on the pro tour but I think I need guidance to get to the next level. I’ve hit top 3 digit legend on hearth stone and I’ve hit mythic in arena and I just think I need some coaching to better understand the meta game and how to play out some of the more complicated scenarios and how to get better at deck building. I’m new to the community so does anyone have advice for resources for improving my game and also know where I can find high level coaches who can help? I appreciate any advice you guys have.
Thanks!!

2024.05.14 04:17 GregGraffin23 Cold war games that deal with spy stuff and conspiries more than action

Combat is allowed. Spy do shoot other spies. But I don't mean games like Red Alert of grand scale things where you command armies.
I want to play as a Soviet agent, doing Soviet stuff. More like an adventure game or a political game.
I've play the Crisis in the Kremlin games (and the spin-offs)
Good story > action

2024.05.14 04:17 Plexusardisme [Online][5E][Wednesday Evening GMT] Looking for a (duo of) player(s) to join an Exandria campaign in its early stages

Hello,
I've started a campaign (DM) set in Exandria (starting in an OC island to set the tone) with a great vibing party in which I see promise. Sadly, two (great :/) players had to leave due to work schedule conflicts, and we're looking to fill in their spot. The game happens every Wednesday (usually at 8pm GMT, but we're looking to make that one to two hours early if it works for everyone, as we were starting that late to accomodate one of the leaving players who was in EST).
Ideally, I would love to find a duo of players who already know each other to ensure A) we can work a way that your characters can join in the adventure as an established duo rather than separately, B) so that there's a balance in the party and your characters have weight in its decision-making sooner rather than later (individual new voices can easily go unheard in an established group).
The campaign aims to be roleplay-oriented, so I'm preferrably looking for comfortable and experienced players (forever DMs this is your opportunity to play) who are seeking a chill party of players interested in building a formidable story over a LONG campaign (aiming for level 20 eventually) set in a loved world BUT with a unique and original twist. As long as you're respectful, willing to RP, and committed, you will be welcomed with open arms.
We are currently at level 3, still in the first phases of that OC island, so you wouldn't be missing much, and I'm willing to take the time this Tuesday to fully brief you and help you create your characters.
Note: We are playing on Fantasy Grounds, for which I own a GM license, so you won't need to spend anything. Note2: I would preferrably like to handle this quickly and get the new player(s) up and running by this Wednesday.

2024.05.14 04:16 Front-Echidna-4139 Please is this normal

So here’s a run down of my build MOBO: MSI Z790 gaming plus WiFi CPU: i9-14900k Gpu: Pny 4060Ti 16GB Psu: Evga 850w bronze Ram: Corsair 32gb 2x16 6000mhz Ddr5
I’ve been messing with bios trying to get this stable on unreal games disabled xmp messed with intel spec power settings and couldn’t get it to work finnaly after setting my max clock speed at 4.8 GHz with water cooled setting (that makes it pretty much unlimited power available to the cpu) and setting the amp limit to 400 a I manually set my cpu voltage to - offset by -cpu pwr (lowing the power it will draw constantly) to 0.075 I am now stable highest any of my cores have got is 53c and while gaming I’m only pulling at most 60w and while idling I’ve seen it hit as low as 8w being drawn and was curios if this was the best way to maintain stability as it’s all I’ve found to work in the last 2 weeks

2024.05.14 04:16 Regular-Criticism806 What CPU, PSU, RAM, and NVME should I buy?

What CPU, PSU, RAM, and NVME should I buy?
I got this motherboard (MSI MPG B560I gaming edge wifi) and case recently for cheap. I wanna build it up but It's been a while and I'm not up to date on pricing. I have a RTX 3060 already and I'm trying to get a good price to performance ratio. Not trying to go overboard, but right now I'm on a Dell XPS 8700.

2024.05.14 04:15 BrBuddy123 Any recommendations before I buy?

I am building my first PC and am aiming for the best performance to cost ratio with a budget of around $3000US. I'll be using it mostly for playing games, such as COD, Baldur's Gate 3, Apex and Modded Mechwarrior 5. This budget includes peripherals too since I have nothing. This is my current list and would like any suggestions or changes. Also are there any upcoming releases I should wait for?
