Golden retriever doberman mix

Hello fellow dog lovers! I currently (22) live with my parents and my brother. I’m looking to move out soon after college. I have two dogs, a Labrador retriever and a golden retriever. My lab (Buddy) is my literal companion. We got him 2 years ago and we got Charlie (my golden) this past September. Buddy follows me wherever I go, and when I leave his sight, he starts whining. He lays next to me when I watch TV. I take him for 2-3 walks a day. I’d say 75% of my day revolves around the dogs. However, I feel like I’m too attached to him. Whenever I’m away, I constantly think about him because I’m so nervous something will happen to him. I’m starting to worry about what will happen when I move out. My family takes good care of Buddy and Charlie, but I’m definitely the one who cares the most, and they are most attached to me. Is this normal? Or what should I do about this situation?

Hi, im deciding to amputate or not amputate my 10 year old golden’s right hind leg. I’m hoping for some opinion from owners who have similarly amputated their dog’s leg to help me decide if i should do it. His case is extremely complicated and i am torn between whether i should do it or not.
My dog is currently a 10 year golden retriever who was recently diagnosed with Sarcoma. At the point of diagnosis (about 5 months back), the cancer was found to be localised to his knee joint and has not spread to the other parts of his body. Vet recommended us to amputate his leg but we did not do it. The reason was because he grew up having 2 major hip surgeries, and his other “healthy” leg is actually missing a hip joint. It was removed when he was around 3 years old as the joint was deformed and causing him problems with walking. Long story short, both his legs are bad.
As a result, we decided not to amputate his leg when he was diagnosed 5 months ago (Dec 2024) with sarcoma.
Fast forward to today (may 2024), the swelling in his leg has returned as a result of the cancer, and our local GP vet has suggested us to amputate his leg. The rest of his body remains healthy and he feels that it would be able to prolong his lifespan.
I love him very dearly and i am torn between whether i should amputate his leg or keep it. As you guys can see, his condition is very different from other dogs and he was not blessed with very good hips. I would really appreciate any feedback or comments regarding this, especially from those with similar experiences.

Been seeing a ton of complaint posts and rant posts on the thread recently, and while I don’t think they’re wrong at all, I figured I’d break it up a little with a cool commander I’ve been using.

I know some are going to roll their eyes at an alchemy commander, and I can see why. Mythweaver and Rusko are notorious, but this one is pretty fair overall. I enjoy playing and I love Reanimator, so this one is perfect. I’ve never made a post like this, so bear with me
Overall theme: reanimate small fellas and win by value. I threw my deck together with the card pool I’ve built on Arena, and it’s pretty damn good. It’s a mix between impactful creatures that have good etb or cast triggers and small bodies that mill you to fill the yard. Ideally some way to untap Veko would be wonderful as well, but I haven’t found one yet. Some notable inclusions: - I ran ever rendition of Sheoldred, all are good, but the Whispering One is by far the golden pig of the deck - anything that has 0 power and enters with counters instead is good, as they don’t suffer any diminishing returns. - Eldrazi and their cast triggers are insane, I only have the new Emrakul but still, something like cityscape leveler is wonderful
Outside of that it’s a standard reanimator.

Spring always makes me so restless. I've got a million things to do and half the time I need to do them. I've been so busy lately that I've been missing out on socializing. I'd like to fix that.

However, in recent weeks, there have been changes in his behavior for no apparent reason. He loves to follow me around and is very affectionate. However, out of nowhere, he starts trying to bite me and my wife and "growls" (without any apparent reason). It mostly happens with my wife, more than it does me and sometimes I have to step in, but not always works, she has bite marks all over her arms and legs.
We're going to resume training this week, but I would like to know if anyone has gone through something similar because we're at a loss as to what might help prevent this from happening, my wife is terrified of the pup, but she loves him to death and is very sad because we feel powerless.

So somebody posted today about blitz joining the hazbin hotel. And while reading the comments, someone brought up how you know if blitz was a part of hazbin he wouldn’t be able to be redeemed, but that doesn’t mean he wouldn’t be able to work with the hotel in another capacity. It got me Thinking if angels can fall, why can’t demons rise?
im Relatively new to the fandom so I don’t know if the creator has talked about this and any of her YouTube videos or any other kind of comic cons or anything like that. So if she has given an explanation/ altered the lore (obviously I know there’s multiple types of mythology and lore and such surrounding the abrahamistic faiths and concepts of heaven and hell and after lives, so please let me know if there’s stuff iv missed about what she has said about this all. And Don’t be a dick about it please.
Anyway, when Lucifer fell other angels, left heaven and fell with him to hell right?
Someone even pointed out in one of the other posts on here how one of the angels in hazbin looked oddly related to stolas(very bird like).
Obviously, obviously other than heaven, maybe not wanting to allow them in what stopping a hell born from rising to heaven and taking on an angelic roll?
Let’s say there’s a hell born just like Charlie all positive golden retriever energy demon who wants nothing more than to spread happiness and make hell better and safer for all hell borns. A demon who has never sinned in any capacity even while living in a place FULL of sins and sinners. Most the hellborns have normalized sins like murder and such. And obviously they have brought up that hell has some kinda justice system so there are some hell horns who want justice systems in place since blitz and mox met in jail/prison.
Angels themselves don’t even know how sinners get to heaven… and mentioned it’s based off divine judgment. Well what if the judge/god/goddess who makes those divine judgment calls deemed a demon worthy of being an Angel…

Good morning! I have been to our ski fields when I was younger, however I’d love to go on a roadtrip this year to the snow. Are there any small towns we could book to stay in just for a play? Not interested in snow sports haha just a frolick! And for the kids to see the snow for the first time. If we could take our golden retriever, even better.
