I was in a two year relationship & found out my ex had a severe drug addiction & honestly was living a double life for a good portion of our relationship as well as cheating on me (telling girls he is single and whatever else). When I found out- I left and gave him the space to talk and explain and he honestly never really had anything to say wo me urging him. It’s been a few weeks since we spoke & I reached out to see if we could have a convo- idk what I’m looking for. Closure? To hear his voice? Maybe to understand wtf just happened bc my whole world feels so weird- anyway he has gone radio silence. It makes me feel as if I did something wrong- It hurts. I’m already gutted and now this on top of it is a lot. Any advice?

So today i noticed i somehow trashed my 7/5/5/5/2 exalted helm. IDK when, looks like during inventory management i accidentally right clicked same gfx helm ready to disassemble, equipped it instead and trashed my helm later... And the accomplice besides of my sheer carelessness is lag during loot management.
Which leads to the fact that the inventory & craft UI is very laggy and clunky for some reason. Inventory management. Laggy. And it's definitely not only that.
The fact that i can handle 8 people with multiple effects and tons of monsters with another effects in diablo2 ressurected without any major lags but solo electric explosion of 30 crabs and scorpions leads to 90-to-20 fps drop on basically same graphic settings is rather disturbing.
I don't like comparsions with genre different games. But diablo is literally the same genre, same monster massacre, same shining effects, booms and explosions yet the performance feels much better, especially in crowded areas. Yes, there are several builds which are graphic heavy, but not even them has noticeable problems when played solo. Unlike here where it (sometimes) becomes lag fest even with static orb or cinder strike.
So yeah, i'd like to see some QOL features in the next cycle, but the optimization should be much higher priority. In Grim Dawn, for example, they added a graphic option later down the line which massively improved performance. I actually don't know the software magic behind that, but it certainly is possible. So i hope EHG is aware of graphic issues and look into it eventually.

 | Jumped on the hype train for Another Crab's Treasure. Though I do like the combat formula of Metroidvania/Souls-like games, I was mostly convinced to play because it followed the world/story formula of fun and poignant to start before becoming esoteric and 'horrific' by the end. submitted by jmangraf to AnotherCrabsTreasure [link] [comments] That being said, and while I did have fun playing for several hours, the game is hitting a point of failure. After reaching the Expired Grove, the game really begins to take a down turn. It's as if it took notes only from DS2 enemy placement. Constant tough enemies literally buried with proximity triggers while you're being targeted by ranged elite enemies] and all the while common enemies dot them both in between with often no room for 'luring'. The kind of tough that doesn't really feel rewarding, just cheap. Then, the game suffers from rendering areas to where it can cause severe stuttering (10 to even 5 or less frames a second, on series x) which, while only generally annoying, highlights as particularly bad in the tight combat where being frame perfect in your reaction has about a 20% chance of being "too early" because the game simply can't keep up. I made sure to test this on Grovekeeper Topoda, and several elite enemies in general overall, several times over during both parry and dodge+attack or dodge+heal windows to be sure. While mentioning Topoda, it also tends to be bad design when the boss can clip itself outside the combat arena during evasive maneuvers only to quickly launch itself back in with ranged attacks that cause you to play pure defense. That, ALONG with the fact that if its ground-covering moves happen to cross a rock in the arena it causes clipping and stuttering in the animation, make it even harder to time with the already difficult combat scenario. Continuing with Topoda, the boss also takes aspects of the DS style bosses and then butchers them by giving different attacks the same telegraph, as well as giving one of said attacks near-zero time to counter should it trigger during the same "wind-up" as the other two (the tail swipe). I understand wanting to make an optional boss difficult for lore purposes, but decimating the combat formula to so do so means you either failed to understand why it's (the combat formula) so good in the first place or else tried far too hard to give a, let's be honest--now hammered into the dirt--formula your own "difficulty originality." Game could've been great, but the fact that its own performance issues hinder the very combat formula it uses, not to mention pairing that with the devs desperate attempt to 'make it their own,' really holds it back. Its sad too because the 'original aspects' it has like the now streamlined shell mechanic introduced by Mortal Shell, and the Hollow Knight-esque abilities (adaptabilities), felt really flushed out for this game. But there's nothing worse than getting so dialed into the otherwise precise combat that when the game's latency/performance issues kick in it causes your perfect timing to be a hindrance--meaning you need to figure out the latency in a given area of the game and compensate (as becomes very noticeable during harder bosses). |

My most recent psychosis occurred due to a number of underlying reasons that I was dealing with over a 6-8 week period and was mostly delusional.
The lead up to it - I had just finished the largest engineering project that I had been working on for two years,. My wife and I were having a very difficult and stressful time, with disagreements all the time.
My body was yelling and screaming for help and I could feel it from deep down inside me. I went to see doctors and psychologists but it didn't do it for me.. A childhood friend then passed away and that tipped me over.. All of a sudden I was placing myself in my friends place and I had all these questions that I had for myself.
I took a few days off work in the hope that it would get better, however, as I returned I just felt exhausted and overcooked. That's when I started to lose it... Note that I wasn't doing any hard drugs at the time, nor was I drinking, but in that upleading week, I was having the occasional nitrous oxide (N20) cannisters.
I went to get my tarot cards read upon returning to work (first time). The lady who conducted the card reading told me to choose the cards when "I feel the energy above the deck".. I actually felt the cards drawing my hand closer to them. I received the following cards, all of which seemed were of major importance to me: (1) Stand your Ground, (2) Hope, (3) Foundation & Achievements, (4) Base Chakra, (5) The Waiting Game, (6) Third Eye Chakra, (7) Love Begins, (8) Spiritual Union, (9) Intuition, (10) Conquer & Defeat.
..That night I went for a walk, I saw a shooting star - it was the first time that I had seen one and was so beautiful. I rushed into tell my wife about the tarot cards and the shooting star.. we both broke down in tears. Later on that evening I would tune into Youtube, and learn more about finance, investing, life, philosophy and music - all of which were major interests in my life.
The next morning I woke up and got ready to go to work. I couldn't help myself but start crying when all of my songs came on. Notorious BIG - Juicy: "Born sinner, the opposite of a winner, remember when I used to eat sardines for dinner".. I had sardines for dinner growing up too, and I could literally taste my mothers sardine dish in my mouth while the song was playing... As I raced onto the highway, it felt as though I was so connected to everything. I rolled the windows down and felt the air around me...The number plates around me "8SAMA" - which I had a feeling that there was going to be a terrorist attack occurring in the not too distant future. "FX Silver" - I was speculating with precious metals back at that time and thought it was a sign that due to the terror attack, silver was going to increase in price. "IDK IDK" - I was listening to the song I don't know by Tion Wayne, Stormzy, etc. the night before my psychosis.. Everything around me was providing me with signs and nothing was a coincidence. It felt like I was enlightened or something?
I called my brother in the morning who lived abroad, he said that he was being overworked and stressed out. He wanted to head to New York for new years eve and I immediately told him not to go as something bad was going to happen. When I went back into the office, I felt as though there would be some kind of market correction before the terror event occured, so I tried to sell all of my crypto, the only problem was, when I entered all of my key seed phrases, one of them somehow disappeared and I could no longer access my crypto wallet. That was when everything cracked further.. I thought the government was onto me as I had put all the pieces of the puzzle together and started to warn people around me.
I grabbed my manager from the office and told him I needed to speak to them. I wanted to come clean with everything that had happened. During this time I felt at peace and in this blissful place. I was seeing visual signs of things from my past which were interacting with my present moment .. it felt like everything around me was staged. I came clean to the manager and told them that I had been struggling at work, and using drugs and alcohol to cope, I said that it also put so much strain on my relationship and my wife was going to leave me. At this time it felt like the police had wire tapped my manager and everything I was saying was going on record. I was trying to outsmart him with every question that they had for me and it was like I was playing 4d chess in my head. We spent close to 2.5 hours talking about my situation -at every stage I was waiting for when the popo were going to pop out and arrest me.
My wife had been contacted and came to pick me up. She took me back home, but while I went home I thought that our house had been bugged and wired. To me our neighbours were acting odd, and so many things were working in my head, I just didn't know how to relax and calm down. The next day I was taken to my parents place, and I initially started by doing a little bit of exercise, I still felt as though the police were after me and I had something to prove to the world. I then had a panic attack, where I legitimately felt as though I couldn't breathe, my wife and family rushed me to the emergency department at the hospital, and I was met with a psychiatrist who put me on a large dose of antipsychotic medication. Don't know where I'd be without my wife to support me through everything.
I then came back and rested. Slowly but surely I started to realise that I had just experienced a psychotic episode that lasted for several days. Following this event, I had a major depressive episode, which took months for me to recover, and approximately one year later I am in a better place mentally, but I am still not 100 %.
It turns out I have a family history of this sort of bullshit that nobody told me about, and being exposed to drugs and alcohol would only increase the risk of any symptoms. I've been off all the drugs and attempting to stop alcohol, and live a more holistic, natural life. Let's see what happens. For anyone dealing newly dealing with it or in the process of recovering, it gets better. Keep your head up.

I basically screwed my freshman and sophomore years of high school. If I do graduate on time, I will be cutting it very close, and after a seemingly never ending pile of credit remediation over my last remaining summer breaks of high school. It could have been avoided if I wasn’t a bitch and constantly depressed. I really want to live, make friends, have a severe case of FOMO, and was planning on spending this summer at parties; urban exploring, thrifting, volunteering, going to a summer camp that looks good on college apps, taking more shifts at my job, etc., but have to do summer school pretty much the entire summer.
There are only two weeks where I’m free, and my friends are on vacation. These friends never hang out anyway and are the type to flake out on everything and not just spontaneously decide to hang out (like normal teenagers. What’s worse is that we live in pretty dense suburbia, but many other kids still meet up all the time with their friends anyway. I’m at a different school from them right now, but am transferring back to the high school they’re in, so it might get easier, but I doubt it. I only have a couple of summer breaks left before college, and I’m freaking out.
Last summer I was depressed and didn’t do anything + struggled with anorexia. The summer of being 16 is supposed to be a pivotal time for teens coming of age, but I’m literally going to be stuck in a classroom. I don’t know what to do. There are only two weeks where I’m free, and my friends are on vacation. These friends never hang out anyway and are the type to flake out on everything and not just spontaneously decide to hang out (like normal teenagers. What’s worse is that we live in pretty dense suburbia, but many other kids still meet up all the time with their friends anyway. I’m at a different school from them right now, but am transferring back to the high school they’re in, so it might get easier, but I doubt it. I only have a couple of summer breaks left before college, and I’m freaking out.
Last summer I was depressed and didn’t do anything + struggled with anorexia. The summer of being 16 is supposed to be a pivotal time for teens coming of age, but I’m literally going to be stuck in a classroom. I don’t know what to do. Hi, A week ago my son vomited thrice around midnight. It was mostly undigested berries. He was fine the next day with normal appetite.
Then again similar thing happened on Sunday around 12am for 3 times. This time it was mostly undigested berries. And during the day he had severe diarrhoea 3 - 4 times. He also was passing very foul smelling gas a few times.
And on Monday around 4am he vomited 3 times. That’s when I started worrying because it’s happening only during night.
I immediately called the nurse helpline and she asked us to goto ER. But the doctor said it’s mostly due to some virus and there seems to be lot of gas. He also said it could be 2 different virus because it’s on and off.
I’m really confused because will the virus cause vomiting only during night? And it seems to be on and off.
I am really hoping it’s just a virus and nothing else!
Has anyone faced similar issue with your kids. What was it? Did it go away on its own?

Hello & Good day to all. Just looking for an opinion regarding a brand new Corvette C8 with less than 1k miles on it.
Of all rhings, kitten or cats got into the bay apparently, damaged some belts it seems and I had no clue. I started the car remotely so it was on for a few mins before i went out and noticed the fans on full blast.
Ita pretty hot here 45°C plus. So this can be normal and i just backed out the driverway trying to hurry onto the road so the ventilation systema get some air. It was less than a min before a realised several error messages "charging system malfunction" and "a/c switched off due to engine overheat". I moved to the side almost immediately and just drove to a safe parking spot in under a min. I did notice some unusual amount of water under the engine bay at this point. Usually there is just a bit from a/c condensation.
Anyway, car is getting inspected and fixed at the agency but I dont fully trust what they do. My main concern is, the engine block itself, could there be any long term impacts of this one incident? And should i do anything to ensure its been inspected and fixed properly?

Crybaby & Baby are identical twins that were born on August 14th in Lennox House for the Mentally Insane Institute and into a fairly loveless household with an alcoholic mother, stoner brother and unfaithful father. Both of their names came from their brother altering their birth certificates as a cruel joke to give them names he felt fit their personalities. Crybaby was seen as the emotional, vulnerable, dramatic, and sensitive twin regarded as the good twin while Baby is seen as the chaotic, mean, sneaky, and vindictive twin regarded as the bad twin. Baby seen the family dysfunction for what it was and encouraged Crybaby to run away with her to a far away place in which she referred to as Dreamland from the toxicity so they could be happy together, but Crybaby was too naive and doe eyed to realize the severity of their house situation. Because of this, brother, mom and dad have held resentment against Baby because she wont keep her mouth closed about the problems in their family. From a young age they've always been inseparable and are almost always attached to the hip. To distinguish them, Crybaby dyed one side of her head pink and Baby dyed one side of her head blonde. Crybaby also curls her hair while Baby's stays straight. The twins natural hair color is very dark brown (almost jet black) Before the age of 5, the twins were so close and so intelligent they managed to create their own language barrier to communicate to each other which is sacred between them and others can't interpret. Because of their unhealthily codependence to one another and eccentric behavior, their brother viewed them as weird freaks who were better off set up for adoption or auctioned to be kept in mental hospitals and freak shows. Unfortunately being born into a dysfunctional family the twins rarely were given healthy attention and love and this caused many maladaptive behaviors such as isolation from outside contact, Stubborness, aggression, impulsivity, and impaired social relationships. This behavior was apparent to school kids who teased Baby and Crybaby (especially crybaby) for their trauma caused behaviors, teachers, peers, neighbors and their own family called them the Bipolar Twins for their hot and cold dynamic. However due to their contrasting personalities and temperaments Baby would find herself in constant comparison and competition with Crybaby which was fueled and started by their brother who planned to split them apart. (via, adoption) as their parents had enough of "Baby's" bad behavior they ended up giving her to Belham Orphanage an orphanage for the exceptionally "gifted" where she would never see Crybaby or her family ever again. Brother framed Baby for the things he did around the house (breaking dishes, lying, stealing candy, and initiating fights) and because the parents were so disorganized and chaotic they did not pay close attention to who was actually responsible for the bad behavior. Baby was the scapegoat to the family's dysfunction because she saw through it all. As Crybaby grows older she becomes more aware and more suspicious about her family and starts to discover that there is "another" other than her and Brother. Despite her questions her family especially Mom and Brother continue to gaslight her and remind her that it's all just a figment of her "imagination" and she needs to " "relax" with this Mom and Brother continue to drug Crybaby with Librium until any memory of Baby is completely erased and wiped clean out her mind. (Crybaby is around 7-8 at the time) While Baby is in the orphanage she spiraled becoming depressed, cynical, and detached from those around her and refuses to even go outside. Mom, Dad and Brother dont visit her at all although Mom promised to take her home when she is "well" She often fantasizes and dreams about seeing Crybaby and running away together to "Dreamland" as months and years go on Baby slowly descends into madness and loses herself in the process. Baby starts to reminisce hallucinate and dissociate regularly and have done for a long time. She dissociated in separate, regular episodes. Between these episodes she doesn't notice changes. She creates a different persona and goes under the alias "Bad Baby" in which she wears a porcelain doll-like mask and ritually dances in sync with her emotions. Baby accepts her insanity and fully embraces it as she sees no way out the orphanage. Additional info - Baby is the older twin by a minute and 5 seconds making Crybaby younger

A year before I left Boston, we went for dinner one night. It was after ultimate frisbee, and Boloco was the only place open. We were still riding high from the last time, when we'd gotten everyone to swim across the Charles. Some kids from MIT had been eating grapes as they walked across the bridge, and I'd convinced them to throw some to me to try to catch in my mouth. They missed a few times before throwing down the ziplock bag, and I was able to throw one to you, which you caught.So this time, I'd joked we should climb the fence to the reservoir and see if we could eat burritos on our backs as we swam across, like otters. You liked something I'd said, so instead of rushing it with Boloco, we wandered the grocery aisles to savor the planning. In the end, you'd proposed making a little boat by turning the frisbee upside down and duct taping two water bottles beneath as pontoons. "We could make smores," you said leaning toward me. We bought a tiki torch that we sat in the middle and then piled the rest of the frisbee with marshmallows, graham crackers, and chocolate squares from Hershey bars. Before we left, you ran back to your car to get a sharpie. You wrote "S.S. More" on the side of one water bottle. I posed for a photo.
The platter was awkward, and we dropped a couple pieces of chocolate in the woods. But we got through the fence easily. We broke sticks for our marshmallows and you lit the torch with a lighter from your car. I remember there were these little fish that would nibble at our toes in the shallows. It was unpleasant, but it didn't quite hurt, more ticklish. I was a more confident swimmer, so I pulled the jump rope, swimming on my back, the other hand balancing my marshmallow over the carcinogenic flame.
At some point out on the water, the wind picked up and blew out the torch. We treaded water several minutes as you tried to get the lighter, wet from where you'd stuffed it into your underwear, to work. At the other side of the reservoir, we stood and those little fish nibbled at us, and you shook out the lighter hard, and lit the torch. We ate as much as we pleased, laughing the whole way back. You took a turn with the jump rope.
That summer we drove up and stayed at the cabin your great uncle owned in Maine. The cabin itself was a converted boat, where your uncle, a local politician from Florida, spent his summers with his obese wife. They were the legal guardians of your cousin, whose father disappeared again after relapsing. It was early autumn, and you'd said it was too cold to swim. But we'd go down and jump in the water with your aunt and uncle, who were convinced the cold was soothing to your aunt's gout. I taught the little boy to skip rocks, but I got him in trouble by talking in character as Scarlet O'Hara during a game of Clue, which he wouldn't stop imitating for the rest of the afternoon. His grandfather sent him outside until he stopped. When you and I went to look for him, he was trying to split logs with an axe in his flip flops. We told him not to do that because he could lose his toes, and I told him that voices were only funny for a short time.
You and I didn't sleep in the old boat cabin, which was expectedly small. Instead, we slept in an L in a 12'x12' shed with a light bulb, which hung on an extension cord from a truss. We talked until 3am or 4am, about everything, work, girls, childhood, and the things that we'd done that had finally dragged us into sobriety.
The next morning, I'd said I wanted to see if I could swim across Lewis Cove and back. As soon as I said it, you were in. You were so lean from running all the time, and before we even got past the boats and the lobster traps, you were struggling from the cold. I'd suggested going back or even climbing out on one of the docks holding traps, but you refused. In the middle, you were worried about making it across at all. I figured I could carry you, but without a float, I didn't think I could carry you very far. When we finally got to where we could stand, you got out and tried to warm up. I stayed in the water, swimming back out a little because for some reason I thought a lobster might pinch me. Eventually, I realized how violently you were shivering. So I got out too, and we decided to go find the road and try to hitchhike back.
It turned out to be one of the islands scattered along the coast of Maine. Luckily, the restaurant, the only thing on the island, hadn't yet closed for the year. The staff, who lived on the island in warm months, were shocked to see us on their day off. You asked if they were planning to take their boat across the water anytime soon. "If you're already making the trip, maybe we could carpool?" you suggested. Two of them gave us a lift in a little boat, making thinly veiled comments about the stupidity of summer people most of the way.
The next day, you slept for hours with a fever. Your aunt was angry that I'd been a bad influence. I went back out and tried to complete the round trip swim. I did it carefully, keeping my head out of the water most of the time and swimming a modified breaststroke. I thought maybe a fast pace would help keep my body temperature up. On the other side, I kicked off the rocks and swam back, and it was cold, but I was fine. Back at the cabin, you were awake and gave me a hug when I came in. We looked up the swimming route on your phone and saw that it was indeed an island, a mile and change round trip. That night we bought a few lobsters from some place along the road, which your uncle boiled in seawater.
A few weeks later, you'd tried to set me up with a girl you knew. You showed me a photo of her, a knockout blonde from Florida. You said you'd been telling her all about me and had sent her my website, and that she wanted to visit Boston and meet me. You told me what a good person she was. "She does little things you'd do, like whenever she has spare change, she goes and puts it in the coin return of vending machines so that it'll make someone's day." I asked why you weren't dating her, but you brushed me off. We started arguing somehow at Bukowski's, some comment I'd made because you'd said she routinely got favors from an infatuated ex. I'd told you it sounded like trouble, and that remembering that beauty is fleeting was why I hadn't slept my way through the ultimate frisbee club yet. We ended up finishing our White Trash Cheese Steaks in silence.
I left Boston with some girl the following summer. It fizzled in weeks, but it was years later that I realized how much you loved me. My ex-wife had been organizing photos, and had come across the picture you took of me holding the frisbee boat. She was always jealous of other women, and she asked who I was smiling at in the photo. "He was my friend."

Good evening nerds, after perusing last week’s thread about synergies with Jace Reawakened, I wanted to try to start a more in-depth discussion of the archetype that I think might best leverage his abilities: Blue Moon. While the most obvious place for Jace is slotting into the Mystmin-style Dimir Lurrus control shell (and that’s probably just stronger overall regardless of synergy), I think there are some clear benefits to going in another direction, namely: 3MV sorcery-speed value spells to leverage the plot ability, more situational spells to leverage the loot ability, and snap/bolt to leverage the ult.
Before we get too far in, I should note that I don’t have a meaningful match history to show off here. Results have been mediocre as I’ve tweaked toward this current iteration, and I haven’t tested exhaustively enough to thoroughly map out all the matchups. With that being said, it’s a fairly fun deck to play, and I think it might have enough general quality to be somewhat competitive with a refined list and play. With the disclaimer out of the way, let’s get into the deck:
Jace + plot targets:

With that being said, it’s a fairly fun deck to play, and I think it might have enough general quality to be somewhat competitive with a refined list and play. With the disclaimer out of the way, let’s get into the deck:
Jace + plot targets:
- 2-3x [[Jace Reawakened]] - this is the real development in tech for this deck, and it synergizes very well with the rest of the cards that you already want to be playing
- 2-3x [[Blood Moon]] - The namesake of the deck. Fairly strong against domain, which seems decently represented in the meta. Plotting this on turn 4 is pretty late to fully cripple your opponent, but restricting them to one spell per turn is still useful when holding up interaction.
- 3-4x [[Fae of Wishes]] - Obviously a spicy inclusion, but it’s just such a juicy plot target it’s hard to pass up. Also a good blocker in a pinch, and it turns on Flame of Anor. More discussion on wishboard options to follow.
- 2-3x [[Fable of the Mirror-Breaker]] - Fable is everything you want in a generic plot target: great value for cost, not reliant on instant speed (unlike Archmage’s Charm), excellent with snapcaster, treasures can occasionally let you Blood Moon on otherwise sketchy lands
- 2-4x [[Flame of Anor]] - similar to Fable, this hits the spot as a plot target: plays well at instant speed but isn’t reliant on it, gives you great value to recover from a slow start, and synergizes with both of your creatures
- 4x [[Lightning Bolt]] - Generically great removal, and can occasionally close out the game with a Jace ult. Would prefer to run more if possible
- 4x [[Mana Drain]] - No question, best counter in the format. Your plot targets (and Lorien) tend to make great mana sinks for this as well.
- 2-4x [[Spell Pierce]] - Obviously seeing quite a bit of play in such a fast format. Your favorite card against SnT, Natural Order, Minsc, and the like.
- 2-3x [[Stifle]] - Another spicy inclusion. This spell probably isn’t good enough for the format in general, however it does play uniquely well with Blood Moon. First of all, it supports attacking your opponent’s mana base, and stone-raining an early fetch can make an otherwise middling Blood Moon excellent. Once Blood Moon is on the battlefield, Stifle helps defend it against outs like Boseiju, Otawara, or Leyline Binding.
- 1-2 [[Stern Scolding]] - Bowmasters bad, ergo scolding good. Also incidentally hits many non-bowmasters.
- 2-4x [[Snapcaster Mage]] - Fairly slow card for such a fast format, but that is somewhat mitigated by biasing toward 1MV interaction. Works great with Fable and Flame of Anor.
- 3-4x [[Brainstorm]] - On the upside, find what you need when you need it. On the downside… bowmasters. Probably worthwhile, but I could see trimming here depending on the meta.
- 2-3x [[Lorien Revealed]] - Like a tapped fetch, but more resilient to Blood Moon and synergizes well with snap and mana drain
- ~20 lands - Fairly standard mix of fetches & island duals, heavy on islands to support the Blood Moon. Probably worth running an [[Otawara]] and a [[Mystic Sanctuary]], possibly worth mixing in an additional sanctuary and/or [[Hall of the Storm Giants]] depending on how much you want to tempt fate.
- Tier 1 wish targets - [[Roiling Vortex]], [[Pithing Needle]], [[Surgical Extraction]], [[Unlicensed Hearse]] - nothing too surprising here
- Tier 2 wish targets - [[Test of Talents]], [[Gaea’s Blessing]], [[Tormod’s Crypt]], [[Brotherhood’s End]], additional Blood Moon - additional support for common scenarios, or options for rarer scenarios. Note that you can put Blessing into your deck with Brainstorm when needed
- Generic advantage cards - this is where the wishboard has felt fairly disappointing to be honest. You really want something disgusting like a Valki to close things out, but I’m just not seeing it. I think [[Narset, Parter of Veils]] may be the best option to push a game from even to ahead, but it’s a bit situational and lackluster. [[Search for Azcanta]] is another cheap option, but very slow. [[Chandra, Torch of Defiance]] is a classic for this slot, but it seems to play poorly with the blue pips and instant speeds among the rest of the deck. It could also be that an additional fable is the best option.
- Normal sideboard cards - [[Molten Impact]] and [[Aether Gust]] as general interaction, probably some additional copies of wish targets for depending on the metagame
- Other generic control spells - Archmage’s Charm is fairly bad while plotted and very risky with Blood Moon. Counterspell might be good enough as hard counter #5. Expressive Iteration is great value, but I’m not sure it outcompetes the other value cards already included. Dig Through Time might be worthwhile as a 1-of.
- Delirium package - most blue moon decks I’ve seen have been running this, but I feel like it may just take up too much room for what you get. You don’t get the most out of DRC like a more graveyard-focused or aggressive deck would, bauble is a no-go with vortex (and you don’t have a Lurrus to recur it), and heat can largely be replaced by flame of anor.
- [[Tishana’s Tidebinder]] - This is probably the best fit that I don’t already have locked for the main deck. It’s a wizard, it supports the stifle/moon plan, and it’s great with a fable that sticks. The biggest downside is that it’s expensive, and it doesn’t interact particularly well with Jace, but it might be good enough regardless.
- [[Vendilion Clique]] - Another flash threat option similar to Tidebinder. V clique is also a wizard, it plots better than tidebinder does, and it’s fantastic with Narset if you can get there, but on the downside it doesn’t work with fable.
- [[Fury]] - coming soon, this seems like it will slot in very nicely. Helps keep the board free of bowmasters, and it works rather nicely with fable, either early game as pitch fodder or late game with reflection.
- [[Ragavan, Nimble Pilferer]] - a classic rage inducer when paired with a turn 2 Blood Moon, but honestly doesn’t seem to have a great place in the meta. Decent against SnT, but it seems like every other meta deck has T1 removal, blockers, or both. You also don’t really have enough other must-remove threats to make it backbreaking in the lategame, nor play few enough creatures to expect zero removal in post-sideboard games.
- 3rd color splash - Jund can get away with it with Jegantha, both as limitation on pip requirements and as a safety valve when color screwed. Jund this ain’t, with several 2x blue pip spells and only fable treasures to bail you out. With that being said, there are some interesting options if you’re feeling bold.
- In Temur, you have great midrange cards like Jarsyl (incidentally a wizard) and Oko (wishable). You also have Veil as interaction, and several options to shore up your enchantment removal. Going more exotic, reclamation exists, and [[bramble familiar]] gets a steep discount with Jace.
- Jeskai also has some potential. [[Deputy of Detention]] and [[Reflector Mage]] are both wizards as well as excellent reflection targets. T3f is a solid wish option, and you have veto/swords/fragment if you want additional interaction options.

And according to the guiding precepts, there is no proscription against sexual activity in itself (except for monastics). It's misuse of sex that is seen as unwholesome.
You need to understand that the entire Path of Buddhism is predicated on waking up from dream-like delusion of self, and selves, and subject (I, my, me) versus object (the presumed external world which the self is presumably 'missing' and needing, or at the mercy of). The point of mental discipline is to stop making an illusory world out of illusory concepts -- our relation to which causes all suffering -- and instead to rest in reality.
This is the basis of all Buddhist ethics. There is no ethical decree given from above by an authority figure; it is all functional, all in service of waking up and dispelling suffering.
So the tainted mental activity that produces the illusion of a 'me' and an external world inevitably leads to craving, grasping, and suffering, like a wheel that turns around and around endlessly.
Craving that persists with regard to a particular object or theme is known as lust. There are many remedies for lust.
First off all, just following the Path in a good course of training will settle the mind and even the energy. Much of our personal suffering and many of our dysfunctional tendencies arise because our energy (in ancient terms named 'inner winds') is inflamed and irregular. A balanced lifestyle and good training in meditation, ethical behavior, and wisdom smooth out the practitioner's energy and establish calmness and stability. This is because it diminishes the mental activity that creates the illusion of subject-object separation and its accompanying habitual patterns of attachment. There are also specific remedies for sexual attachment, including contemplating the constituent parts of a body and/or the many unpleasant aspects of a body -- blood, pus, oil, urine, feces, odor, shedding skin, and so on. Related contemplations consider aging and decay.
These practices are effective because typically the lustful person is fixating on a very limited and idealized version of the supposedly desirable person: they see only momentary physical beauty or preferentially selected qualities, not the whole reality. The contemplations establish what a body really is (which is far from gloriously pleasant). And one can imagine that seeing the entire life span of the object of desire -- seeing hehim as germ cells, a fetus, an infant, a toddler, a child, and adolescent, an adult, an elderly person, a withered aged dying person, a heap of dust and bones -- can dispel the illusion of perfect desirability that characterizes lust.

Some of the most important and influential means of bringing the mind under control (not rigid control, but stability and functionality) have to do with lifestyle. There are many teachings that don't appear in books, and which you get through human contact and actually living the lifestyle along with others.
Regulating diet, sleep, physical movement and rest account for possibly half or more of the spiritual accomplishments and personal transformations sought by practitioners. If you just eat right, your efforts are already tremendously supported.
Avoiding overly dulling or stimulating foods (like too much meat & dairy, and certainly sugars, oily foods, processed foods, overly spicy foods), avoiding overeating, and avoiding alcohol, caffeine, nicotine, and recreational drugs go a long way to settling the fiery, eruptive energy that easily becomes sexual craving.
Certain specific foods are discouraged or, within specific practices, prohibited because they directly block the practice. Some of these are strongly aphrodisiac foods, others are known to block the energy flow being cultivated.
Sleeping the right amount at the right time evens, calms, and uplifts the energy. Best is to be asleep at least an hour before midnight (by the sun, not by the clock which can change with daylight savings time), and to wake and rise before the first light of dawn. No surprise: this follows the schedule of temples and practice centers. And having too little sleep, though not ideal, is better for the subtle energy than too much sleep. Having too little sleep harms the body, but having too much sleep harms the energy and spirit.
Physical movement is also extremely important for health at all levels, and for spiritual practice. And finally (but far from the last benefit available), the influence of a teacher and practice community can't be overstated. Being in the presence of those who maintain the true view helps your own wavering, wandering, attaching mind come under control and move toward the true view itself. Being with people who are clear about their values, and whose discipline arises naturally from wisdom (rather than being imposed tyrannical by an ideology), helps one learn how to become clear and disciplined.
To a great extent, cravings and addictions are cured by replacing them with wholesome and more satisfying and fulfilling aspirations and behaviors, and by replacing the triggering environment with a more healthy one.
Addiction is not always best addressed by wrestling with it directly, as that can become another trigger, causing recurrent cycles of repression and acting out. Objectification is a root problem; so be careful of making a personal issue into an object of fixation. A good course of training will help teach you where to place your attention and effort. It's like the story of the two wolves: the one that grows is the one you feed (with your attention). "You become that which you place before you."
We don't learn how to live by amassing concepts; we learn how to live by being in the presence of true humans.
And if we establish the karmic causes for being in the presence of an enlightened teacher, the influence on our life is unimaginably beneficial.
