Hey guys, i am planning to build a new PC soon, but i cannot decide whether to go with a 7900XT paired with the 7600X or a 7900 GRE paired with a 7800X3D. I know this question has been asked many times before, but i still do not really have a good answer. I am not going to be using this PC to play the MOST performance-demanding games out there, but it would be nice to have a reliable GPU-CPU combo, just in case i eventually would want to. I am only going to be playing at 1440p and at 165Hz. What do you guys think? To preface this, my sword skill is 14 and warfare is 12. It’s my first playthrough of the game, and I love it so far. PS5.
From what I can tell, the directional guard system is pretty redundant in practice. It’s not necessary to match your opponent’s direction to block, perfect block or masterstrike, and changing your attack direction seems to have little to no effect on their chances of blocking (or more likely masterstriking your camera into orbit) despite Bernard insinuating otherwise. The only viable attack direction bar none seems to be top, without fail, 100% of the time. If someone does have a faceplate, they certainly have better protection everywhere else on their body, and the face is always the weak point.
Any Cuman? Top stab. Bandit with an open-face helmet? Top stab. Beefy guys in plate armour and a closed helmet? Believe it or not, top stab. Peasant or archer, mix it up with a top slash.
And, yeah, I understand the head is always going to be the weakest point on someone who isn’t armoured in a non-sensical way. But, then, why doesn’t the directional system play more of a part in defense, considering the semi-realistic nature of the game means anatomy is king - so it only makes sense for attacking to have a pretty tame learning curve of observing your opponent does in fact have a head.
Am I missing something? Is there any reason to attack anywhere except top, with any weapon? Why would I perform a combo when 11 out of 12 of them ONLY have attacks that go straight into the enemies best defended areas, provided it can actually be pulled off without interruption.
I hope the directional system is tied more heavily into defense in the coming sequel.

As the title suggests, I’ve got a question about the Skalgrim mod: does it affect the balance of the Campaigns?
I’m currently on my third play-through of the Imperial campaign (because I’m not a filthy Heretic 😉) and I’m really enjoying it, having not it played for nearly a year it’s fresh again. But I’ve very quickly hit on my typical fleet set-ups (Especially my C and BC-eating pack of Dauntless’ 😊) and I’m very quickly seeing the slight lack of variety.
So I’m tempted to install the Skalgrim mod as it seems to bring a lot more to the table in terms of ships and variety.
But I’ve not been able to work out if it affects the balance of the campaign, and I’ve seen too many large-scale mods mess with an RTS and make campaigns unplayable. I do enjoy the quick-battles but mostly it’s the longer, grand campaigns that make BFG 2 a great game for me.
I’m currently playing through the Imperial Campaign on medium (without too much difficulty either), but have completed it on hard and have played Necron and Chaos on medium as well (ok, so maybe I’m a bit of a Heretic…) so I’m comfortable with the game play, so if it makes things a little tougher, I’m not too bothered.

Over the next few months we will hear and see the stats over and over. 172 appearances, 125 goals, 50 assists. Over a goal or assist a game. Incredible. But the true pleasure was just watching her play, something we’ve all been robbed of over the last few years. That may have been nobodies fault, but I could certainly name whose fault it is that we will be robbed of watching the rest of her career.
For such pioneers of women’s football, Arsenal have handled Vivianne Miedema’s departure horrifically. Women’s football is not the same as Men’s and should not be run in the same way. In women’s football relationships are built between fans and players as quickly as lesbians fall in love. The accessibility is there and encouraged. Rightly or wrongly, winning isn’t always everything, the priority is growing the game and inspiring the next generations.
Make no mistake, not offering Viv a contract at 27 years of age is the same as Barcelona turning around to Alexia Putellas and not offering her a contract. It is the same as letting Thierry Henry leave on a free. In no world is it a sensible decision. In no world does it make sense for team aiming to win trophy’s. And in no world is any true Arsenal fan going to allow this to be swept under the rug. Could there really not have been a conversation about a contract even if the club felt it was a risk? Could that conversation not have been had? This is Vivienne Miedema, with all due respect, there is nobody better.
This is a huge disrespect and something that the club, specifically Jonas and Edu need to address publicly. Especially if the plan is for Jonas to continue. Not only that it brings into question the ambition of the club, within minutes Man City are sniffing and being vocal about it.
But as difficult as it is for us fans, and as baffling, the real victim is Viv.
To Viv, thank you, thank you, thank you. Not just for what you have done for the club on the pitch, for who you are off it. For being unapologetically yourself, and showing us the most important thing is you and your wellbeing regardless of what directions you are being pulled in. We will always be holding out hope that there will be a U-turn and you end up staying, but the reality is even if the club were too they don’t deserve your forgiveness for this. I hope wherever you end up you don’t just confirm what everyone except the club knows, but make Arsenal have to re-evaluate every persons position who helped come to this conclusion. Because it’s the wrong one, and I’ll die on that sword. But who knows, maybe one day you’ll be winning the WSL with us as manager. I’ll be wishing it in every shooting star I see.
I know we will have to let it go, just as you will have had too, but we aren’t ready yet.
So whilst we may not be ready to say So Long Viv just yet, we will never be able to listen to that song without thinking of you.

Once I posted something about this (it was on Rim 1.4 version) and now I have a similar problem, this is some kind of bug. I wish more people had a similar problem and a solution:
My pawns have recreation levels on zero. I alreay have a schedule with lots of time for recreation and have some stuff for them to play with (horseshoes, shallow water, chess). The game is still very early (jugust of the first year) so they cant be tired of the same stuff.
Why they cant stop working and go play with something to improve their recreation level? Even if they are in the schedule time for recreation, they will not do anything and just keep working! I dont get it! They even have a recreation starvation buff.

Sup.So i played this game a couple of times without any issues but since they remake the anti cheat thing every time i launch the game , the game is breaking my internet connection and i cannot connect back until i restart the computer.This is happening only when i launch the game , i have no problems with other games , apps etc.I use internet cable not wifi and i have a good internet connection with good ping. When i launch the game and the game is disconnecting me from the internet i tried to connect back but it said '' specified port already open '' Basically it tells me that im already connected even tho im not , and i searched this problem on google and i found out the reason its saying that its because its locking itself from connecting back unless i restart the pc.I did alot of tests with everything , there is no problem with my computer or the internet connection i have , it's the game 100% i don't know what makes it do that but it's breaking my connection for some reason.If someone knows that would be amazing since i can't play the game anymore and now i basically paid for nothing.Thanks.

I dont know why, but all day i've been miserable. I dont know why, nothing bad happened, i hung out with my gf and nothing bad happened, i played games with me buddy and it was fun, but i constantly have a headache, (kinda like the one that you have when you're sad) im constantly sad. The only way to feel fun, i have to play Counterstrike since it uses all of my brain to play strategycly. What do i do?
