Ive been working on how to hammer out the details of my magic system. Im a man who loves me some epic fantasy, but i vastly prefer hard magic, so i was faced with how i wanted to do my magic, what to base it in. I decided on basing my magic in general concepts of physics. This will be a mire background lore thing thats not how its explained by characters in the book(s) i jope to write.
One example is an order of knights themed after storms. The magic of the Storm Knights is based in differentials, pressure differentials to create wind, density differentials to make themselves buoyant enough to float and be blown by wind, and electrical charge differentials to zap with lightning.
Another group uses the shenanigans of quantum physics. The big one ive hammered out the vibes of is superpositioning (basically, one thing being in multiple places at once). Its being used in two ways, either teleporting oneself, or duplicating yourself or an object, though your in both places, theres not two of the things. For example if you duplicated yourself, youd see through both bodies, and be affected by both, if one gets stabbed, both do.
Please feel free to ask questions to me to flesh the magic out, or suggest other concepts i could. Im also curious to see what yall think of this concept!

Anyone take Triamcinolone while conceiving or pregnant? We are starting to try and there’s a big possibility I’m pregnant now. I have been taking Triamcinolone for the past few days for itchiness (I take as needed) - I started looking up meds to take/not take and saw this one is recommended to avoid and now I’m freaking out… I read it can last in your body for up to 4 weeks. Hoping I might get some peace of mind …

I am a 2nd year U8 coach of a community team. I never played this young, started as a U12. My U8 league rules specifically state "No Body Checking." My utmost priority at this age is safety. Players at this age do not really seem to have great control of their crosse. I coach defense as a combination of lift checks, poke checks and body positioning. Body positioning to me is like a basketball player staying in front of their man. No where do I show a player how to check another.
So here is my dilemma and could really use some help. When we are playing games, other teams are using quite aggressive hits to stop my players movement, knock them down or sometimes even knocking over away from the ball. I know this is a physical game and when there are 4-6 young players going for a ground ball, pushing does occur. I struggle with the big hits that are body to body that put my players on the ground in tears. I have yet to find a great definition from USA Lacrosse on acceptable and unacceptable contact at the U8 level. Admittedly I got very heated with a ref last weekend as my team was getting hit over and over without any whistles.
Do I coach my players to be more aggressive to match the competition or address with the refs before the games? Ultimately, I want my players to be safe and have fun. It is NOT about winning at this level within the program. I want them to fall in love with the game.
Any advise is appreciated. I am very much struggling with this.

Women can go around and sleep with as many as guy as she wants, regardless of her or his attractiveness. Men need sex and women need attention.
I think the average body count of a young girl these days is about 2. This just before a girl stars university. This can go upto 3-10 after she graduates university, most likely in the upper end. My friends have talked about how many girls he has talked to that have body counts in the 20-50s and they aren’t even 25 yet. Same with men but it’s much less common for a man to have already slept with 25 women by the time he is 25. The highest I have heard for a man is about 9-10. Well, there was a study done which said that once you have reached the body count of 10, the chances of you getting a divorce is about 40% which is not good odds. I think the average amount of bodies a girl gets before she settles now is definitely between 6-10. I think body count-divorce correlation affects both gender. Both gender are more likely to be divorced if they get a higher body count. Btw, the children of divorced parents are more likely to live with their mothers than their fathers.
Now you might be asking, so what, it doesn’t affect me? Actually, it does. It a harsher way then you can think. What’s the problem then? Crime.
Why do you think 60s to 90s had more crime and serial killers then any other time? War and trauma. Trauma really does change one person. The fathers of their children were traumatized from society and released their frustration onto their families. Leading into a broken/divorced family
Same thing is happening now. But it’s just promiscuity which will lead to clashes in family. I’m noticing way more people tell me how they are divorced.
Brace for a huge spike of crime in the coming years. It will get much worse. And crime is already at a rise in the west.
We are slowly by steadily becoming savages and animals.
The only way to fix this would be to get rid of porn industry, social media, and dating apps.

[I wrote this article about Macbeth for my college's newspaper, and I thought this subreddit might enjoy reading it!]
I have joked before that Shakespeare’s two favorite subjects–surpassing love, murder, madness, and crossdressing–are botany and birds. If you’ve been to New York City you might be aware of the “Shakespeare Garden” in Central Park, whose theoretical aim (though it proves nigh-impossible in practice) is to house specimens of all the plants which Shakespeare mentions in his plays. As it turns out, Bard quotes make for quite a diverse garden: there are roses which assuredly would smell as sweet by any other name; there are daffodils, that come before the swallow dares, and take the winds of March with beauty; there’s holly, heigh-ho; there’s rosemary, that’s for remembrance, there’s pansies, that’s for thoughts, there’s fennel for you, and columbines–no word on whether or not they could find any violets, though. I suppose there’s no objection to be made against those who complain that Shakespeare’s language is “flowery”; even as vicious a villain as Iago deigns to express his philosophy on life by way of botanical metaphor: “Our bodies are our gardens, to the which our wills are gardeners.” And, of course, the plot of A Midsummer Night’s Dream revolves around a magical flower which makes people fall in love.
I doubt anyone will object to my claiming of birds as Shakespeare’s other poetical fixation: I suspect that the majority of falconry knowledge which most non-falconers have today comes from reading footnotes in their copies of Shakespeare plays, explaining exactly what Richard II means by “How high a pitch his resolution soars,” or why Hamlet says “Hillo, ho, ho” to Marcellus. But while plants are so common in Shakespeare that I don’t know of one play which we might say is especially densely forested with references to them, there is one play that stands out as particularly full of birds in comparison with the rest of the Shakespearean canon. That play is Macbeth.
This is the sort of thing that one only notices after having read a play so many times that the actual events of the plot become akin to the meter of a poem–beats which must be hit, and which start to feel so natural that one hardly notices them–and one’s attention drifts away from the big, important speeches and toward the more utilitarian words and odd little moments that bridge them. I am not the first to point it out, but it is, all the same, a delightful quirk of the play, and could be a good way for Sophomores to throw their classmates for a loop in seminar [Note: Students at our college study Macbeth during their Sophomore year.]: why are there so many birds in Macbeth?

Above I have listed every ornithological reference that I’ve found in the Scottish Play; as we peruse them, we certainly cannot conclude that every individual reference is of the same kind, or carries the same import. I will not pretend, for example, that, just because geese and ravens are both birds, the Porter’s invitation for the imagined English tailor to cook his goose in Hell merits as much attention as Lady Macbeth’s ominous declaration that “the raven himself is hoarse”. Nor do I think that any individual reference particularly demands explication; by itself, any one of these bird-invocations seems perfectly natural. Shakespeare’s talent is such that he can repeat a motif in such a way that on the macro level it is obvious yet on the micro level it hardly feels present. But that macro level is what interests me here: what impression is created, on the whole, by the presence of so many birds in this play? I have a theory, which, though it may seem far-fetched, I think merits at least some consideration, and which, at the very least, I have not seen stated elsewhere, and so may make a novel contribution to the conversation.
Macbeth is both Shakespeare’s most supernatural tragedy and his most Sophoclean; these two superlatives are inextricably related. The appellative Weird given to the opening scene’s three Sisters–derived from the Old English wyrd, meaning destiny, and famously given its more familiar connotation by Shakespeare himself in this very play–is, among the Bard’s works, unique to Macbeth; and just as that word appears nowhere else in Shakespeare, so is the concept it represents absent in all tragedies but this one. Though Hamlet may cry out against outrageous fortune, and though Othello may rhetoricize about how no man can control his fate, it is only in Macbeth that we truly feel that the events we see play out before us are fated, predestined, inevitable. [See Note 1.] The ghost in Hamlet commands his son to revenge his foul and most unnatural murder, but does not tell him it is certain that he will succeed; indeed, would not the drama be sapped of its intrigue if that level of certainty were present? Meanwhile, the supernatural interlopers in Macbeth offer the Scottish thane not a mission, but a prophecy: All hail, Macbeth! that shalt be king hereafter! From its mystical opening word–When, not If–the Scottish play makes us aware of the certainty of all that is to befall our tragic antihero. Macbeth is thus a different sort of tragedy than Shakespeare’s others, and it works by an inverted mechanism. While the tragedy of, for example, Desdemona’s death is that it may have been prevented, the tragedy of Macbeth’s destruction is that it represents the fulfilment of fate; and this is the very same mechanism by which Oedipus Rex operates, complete with its own “Weird” character in the form of the seer Tiresias. Though Calvin managed to accept that some men are destined for greatness and others for ruin, this idea is, to Shakespeare and Sophocles, nothing short of agonizing–the stuff of tragedy.
Now: what does all of this have to do with birds? Consider these words from Antigone, spoken by Tiresias to Creon:
You shall learn, when you hear the indications of my art! As I took my place on my ancient seat for observing birds, where I can mark every bird of omen I heard a strange sound among them, since they were screeching with dire, incoherent frenzy and I knew that they were tearing each other with bloody claws, for there was a whirring of wings that made it clear… (Lloyd-Jones translation)
Consider next these words from Oedipus Tyrannus, spoken defensively by Oedipus to Tiresias:
Why, come, tell me, how can you be a true prophet? Why when the versifying hound was here did not you speak some word that could release the citizens? Indeed, her riddle was not one for the first comer to explain! It required prophetic skill, and you were exposed as having no knowledge from the birds or from the gods. No, it was I that came, Oedipus who knew nothing, and put a stop to her; I hit the mark by native wit, not by what I learned from birds. (Lloyd-Jones translation)
The practice of divining the future from birds–be it from their behaviors, their cries, or their innards–was, to Sophocles and his contemporaries, not superstitious hokum, but a practical science at which one could be skilled or unskilled, and it bodes ill for Oedipus that he is so quick to disregard it in favor of his own native wit. [See Note 2] By Shakespeare’s day, the practice had long been relegated to the realm of outdated hocus-pocus, but the Bard still saw some truth in it; in Macbeth, there is a recurring sense that, when the world is sick with some great wrong, its first symptoms manifest in the behavior of birds. When the “fatal bellman” the owl shrieks in the night, Lady Macbeth takes it as a sign that her husband is about his bloody business. The day after the murder of Duncan, as Ross converses with an Old Man about the strange things they’ve seen the previous night, “unnatural/Even as the deed that’s done”, the killing of a falcon by a mousing-owl–an omen straight out of Sophocles–is mentioned before the madness and cannibalism of Duncan’s horses, even though the latter would surely be more immediately noticeable and ghastly than the former.
These are the most obvious examples of birds as ill omens in Macbeth; yet even the more innocuous invocations of birds throughout the rest of the play continually turn our thoughts back to the ancient Greek understanding of fate and prophecy, and thereby remind us that, however savagely he may fight at Dunsinane, Macbeth’s fate is as fixed as that of Oedipus. The birds have already foretold all.
Note 1: The closest thing there is to this kind of fatalness in another Shakespearean tragedy is the several superstitious occurrences in Julius Caesar–both the soothsayer’s message of “Beware the ides of March” and the bestial portents such as the lack of a heart in an offering and the whelping of a lioness in the streets. Still, I will insist that these omens do not convey a sense of fatedness to the audience as strongly as the Weird Sisters in Macbeth by virtue of their being told to Caesar himself, not to Brutus, the play’s true protagonist, and by the fact that Shakespeare elsewhere uses dialogue to throw some doubt upon the idea of predestination: "Men at some times are masters of their fates:/The fault, dear Brutus, is not in our stars,/But in ourselves, that we are underlings." -I.ii
Note 2: The Liddell-Scott Greek Lexicon identifies at least two separate verbs referring to bird-based divination, both of which are present in the quoted passages: Tiresias uses ορνϊθοσκοπέομαι, observe birds, interpret their flight and cries, while Oedipus uses οιωνίζομαι, take omens from the flight and cries of birds. The latter term comes from οιωνος, a large bird, bird of prey, such as a vulture or eagle, and so distinguished from a common bird, while the former comes from ορνις, which more generally refers to a bird, including birds of prey and domestic fowls. Birds of both kinds are present in Macbeth; there are οιωναι, such as the “falcon, towering in her pride of place”, as well as ορνες, like the Porter’s goose and cock. I therefore see little value in interrogating the kinds of birds invoked by Shakespeare, the specific cultural associations and significance of the owl, the raven, or the wren; rather, if we reduce them down to their barest existence as birds, animals of the class Aves, and consider them in an ancient Greek light, then things become a bit clearer.

I'm so tired of being called big back, it does not really bother me but it's so annoying and it will probably get worse when I start highschool. I have big arms, fat behind my knees, a double chin and I genuinely cannot live like this. I have a lot of stretch marks too. I don't play sports because I'm simply not interested in a lot of them, I can't go out and run by myself because of safety reasons and I don't have a key to my house, I barely have time and school burns me out. I walk everyday but I don't see any changes, to be fair I eat a large amount of food everyday after school but I can't tell when I feel full. Give me any kind of advice besides dieting or going to the gym. I've been trying to eat less but it's not really working that well.
EDIT: I'm only 14, so give me advice that would work for my age, I also do want to mention that I've always had some kind of body dismorpha or however you spell it. I almost gave myself an ED when I was in 5th grade because I believed I was fat and tall, I would eat a lot one day then barely the next day. Right now, I still somehow think I'm skinny even though I KNOW I'm not. I just wish I had a mirror to look at myself, but now I don't, so i have no idea what my body looks like now.

I think about starving myself all the time. Sometimes these thoughts come suddenly, here and gone like flashes of light. The want to reverse all my work to get where I am now is fleeting. Other times, it creeps in slowly. It starts with catching my face in the mirror, and all I can think of is how fat it is. Once I nitpick at the shape of my face, I pick apart the rest of it. My eyes aren’t the same shape. My eyebrows aren’t shaped well enough. My nose is huge, it’s not dainty or cute. I start to regret not saving all my student loan money from before I met you so I could’ve fixed my nose. After I am done criticizing my face I move to my body. There is not much I like about my body. My stomach is too big, my breasts aren’t big enough, my hips are huge, I have weird feet, and my waist isn’t small enough. I especially hate my legs. When I stand my thighs are bad enough, but when I sit they double in size. My legs are fat, they are not skinny and I can’t remember a time they were. They do not look nice with short dresses which is why I feel most comfortable in ones that almost touch the floor.
When I am done focusing all my energy on my body, I begin to think of all the ways I can fix it. I could stop eating entirely, that would fix it quickly. I realistically couldn’t do that. It’d cause too many fights. Instead I would start with giving us unequal portions of the scrambled eggs. Even though I used six eggs, I’ll only serve myself two. I would cut out the juice and sweet coffee syrup I love so much. I can get stevia, I don’t need black sugar syrup in my coffee. There’s too many calories there. I would continue to cut out things slowly but surely. I’d cut out sugar, bread, and high calorie proteins. I’d insist on being vegan because as much as I love animals and that should be enough it’s really about the calories.
I look up weights, heights, and bmis of every celebrity that hits my social media. I research ways to get weight loss drugs, unsure if they would work but willing to give them a try. I think about buying a scale all the time and where I would hide it. I schedule in my head when I would use it. I’ve thought about driving to the mall every day and spending a quarter to weigh myself in the women’s bathroom by the food courts. It’s not as bad as having a scale in the house, right?
I don’t know how to tell you this. I’m not looking for a reason to be sad or cause problems. I am constantly at war with my brain. Everything and anything can trigger thoughts of wishing I would waste away. Once they start to spiral down I feel like I can’t escape them. I’m trapped, unable to move, unable to breathe. I have to wait for them to clear on their own, in the meantime I must stay silent. If I speak a single word, I’m worried it’ll become too real and all the actions in my head will be released. I am scared once I start, I won’t stop. I will lose weight until there is nothing left and I am a shell of the girl you fell in love with.

Crowson had served loyally under his father King Milo for all of his life.
But once his close comrade Theo was sentenced to be executed…
Crowson abandoned all loyalty he had to the Obsidians
And so, He fled their newly captured town of Westfirst…
and arrived in Fallholt to lay low for a while, before taking action on his one and only goal, Kill King Milo and end the Obsidians…
Crowson stands atop a ledge, overlooking the small town below. He sighs, “They won’t find me here. It was a mistake to slip the name of Beggar’s Hole to Maverick, he’s likely told Milo and… I hope Theo decided to lay low in another town like I did.”
He would proceed to walk down some stairs and into the town properly. He’d sit down on a bench, going through his thoughts, frustrated at not being able to keep his mind off King Milo… “I need a drink.” He stands up.

• Travel Banter: The Sacred Flame’s Forgiveness (Crowson and Thearnt) Crowson finds Thearnt praying about something, Thearnt reveals she was letting the gods know Crowson was on their side she tells him that he’s doing the right thing and the Flame will forgive him. Crowson questions her, asking if killing people, and continuing to do so is really what the flame stands for? Thearnt is stunned and silent. “I– I was trying to be nice…”
  
• Travel Banter: Wasting My Time (Crowson and Asherah) Asherah asks Crowson if they came all this way just to get him a drink, Crowson tells her “It’s nothing more than a waste of time, but that’s why I came here.” Asherah laughs and asks Crowson if he has anything better to do here. “Do You?” He fires back. “Then hold your tongue and let us be going.” Asherah just says “This whole conversation was a waste of time.”
  

Crowson is served a drink by the barkeeper, the only other people in the tavern are two men sitting far away from him. He quickly downs his drink and orders another that he downs just as fast.
After some time passes, Crowson is standing outside. “To the ruins we go Zach!” he hears someone just beside him. “Aye, Careful now.” Zach responds. Crowson watches as the two leave town to the north.
“Ruins…?” He wonders to himself, He gazes at the distant valleys and stone structures and against his own will at first, he decides to follow them.
Road to the Ruins of Fallholt, Danger Level 24
Fairly quickly, Crowson would find them and start listening. The same men from the bar, “Now what Rene?” Zach asks. Rene stays silent. “There has to be someone else on our force who can lend us a weapon…”
“Your force?” Crowson reveals himself to them. Rene is startled by him, “We’re the Fallholt Guard!” he shouts “It’s you...You aren’t going to– kill– us– are you?”
Crowson turns around, as if to make sure King Milo isn’t there, “No.” he says at last. Rene and Zach ask Crowson if he’s part of the Fallholt Guard too, He tells them that he isn’t. Rene asks Crowson if he would mind doing them a favor.
“We’ve dealt with our fair share of Stealing, Murder, and Trafficking around Fallholt, It’s… not a very safe town. Recently, something’s been especially off about these ruins over there. We don’t know what’s going on inside, and we need someone to take a look because we–”
He turns to Zach, as if he doesn’t want to say it himself “We lost our weapons. Stolen by some bandits.” Zach continues. “I know it’s a lot, could you help us?”
“...” Crowson frowns, “Where did these bandits go?” Rene points him in their direction
You’d mug the bandits and take Rene and Zach’s weapons back.
Crowson returns their weapons and tells him to get a move on. Rene apologizes for not being much help yet. Zach tells him not to worry, Crowson turns and walks in the direction of the Ruins of Fallholt.

• Travel Banter: Too Harsh on them (Crowson and Orlando) Orlando asks Crowson if he’s being too harsh on Rene and Zach. “They’re lucky I agreed to do this favor at all.” Orlando still tells him that he could be nicer to them still, They seem to be nice people after all. “I suppose so, But I thought you knew I’m not big on the idea of blindly obeying.” Crowson replies. Orlando asks “Is that what this is about?” Orlando tells him that as long as he’s there, he won’t let what happened with King Milo happen ever again.

The Three of them stop at the ruins door, Rene and Zach have no idea how to get it open. Crowson decides to use a bit of brute force, pushing and shoving against the door until it opens, revealing the dark ruins inside…
Ruins of Fallholt, Danger Level 25
As you make your way through the ruins, the screen would occasionally rumble.

• Travel Banter: Pitch Black Ruins (Crowson and Pascal) Pascal remarks about how dark the ruins are “Light conditions are not favorable.” Crowson replies. Pascal says “I hope you do well in the dark.” He then brings up something he thought he saw on the wall, strange scratch marks on the stone. Crowson doesn’t worry about it. He tells Pascal that most ruins in Zalaina have scratches like that. Nothing about the Ruins of Fallholt is particularly strange…
  
• Travel Banter: Lurking Mystery (Crowson and Taland) Taland says he hears the rumbling, and wonders what could be hiding here. Crowson and him would talk about different causes and theories for what could be going on, Slightly lightening the mood. Taland says he’ll do his best to fight from behind the “Sword wielder”, but there’s only one way to find out what could be lurking in here…
  

The source of the noise is uncovered deeper in the ruins. Crowson, Rene, and Zach encounter a Minotaur. A bull-like creature. It growls as it exits from the shadows. Rene and Zach draw their weapons and eagerly await a fight. Crowson takes out his sword and stares coldly at the Minotaur, speaking to it and the others, as it strikes.
BOSS: Minotaur
(Boost Dialogue: This is where I set things right.)
The Minotaur is defeated. Crowson puts his sword away, “That takes care of that…” Rene says, Zach nods “We owe you a lot...”
Crowson is about ready to go back into town, when he takes a look ahead, behind where Rene and Zach are standing. He walks forward and stares up at the wall, Painted on it, is the symbol of the Obsidian Crow.
“W– What is that doing here…”
“Crowson?” Rene tries to talk to him, but he can’t take his eyes off the crow.
“That bird… That damn bird…” Crowson turns around, his face partially obscured, he slowly draws his sword on Rene and Zach… They both take a step back.
“Who are you… Was all this to lead me here? Are you one of them?”
The “Challenge” screen would appear, allowing you to challenge Rene and Zach to a duel.
“Answer Me.”
Once the duel is over, Crowson stares at the ground and puts his sword away. Rene, gasping for air, tries to reason. “I swear to you! I don’t know anything about that symbol, or what it means. I’m not a crow!”
“....” Crowson thinks about what to say “I’m sorry.” His voice echoes.
Zach asks “What does the crow mean?”

Each member has it tattooed on their body. Oukirii asks if that means Crowson has it too, he confirms that it’s on the back of his left shoulder.
  
• Travel Banter: Memories of King Milo (Crowson and Harmony) Harmony asks Crowson if he wants to sit down and talk about King Milo and the Obsidians. Crowson says it doesn’t matter, they have to keep moving forward. But Harmony persuades him into opening up a little. “Here, take my hands.” she offers. They’d talk about things Crowson remembers of Milo. But eventually Harmony decides to leave it alone for the best.
  

Rene and Zach stop Crowson at the entrance to Fallholt. “We just wanted to thank you for helping us out.” Rene says. “I’m sorry about– the crow.” Crowson tells them not to think about it. They ask Crowson where he will go next before he leaves, Crowson looks down and almost smiles when he says “To meet an old friend…”

He knew he had to flee town immediately upon the risk of an Obsidian finding him here.
But he still asks himself, Why was the crow here? He’d been everywhere that Milo went and never once visited Fallholt.
And so, Crowson sets out once again. His quest for King Milo’s blood continues.
He leaves for Beggar’s Hole, wondering If any place is truly safe from the crows ravaging anymore...

I am not sure what the standard way is for someone to have just the second half of a story reviewed here but what I'll do is tell you the basic plot that has come before, then provide a link to the first half just in case you'd like to read the thing as a whole
Our story so far:
IN A WORLD set in an alternate near-future, where it has become routine and accepted for people to allow "Seeds" to take over their lives "body-snatchers" style, Thomas came home to find out his wife Maria had undergone this process without talking to him about it first. He was pretty upset (even though this process has become quite widespread and open and the public value is to simply accept it as a valid choice towards self-improvement (the body-snatchers are a little better at everything than normal humans), this doesn't mean everybody's perfectly happy about it all the time or is immediately ready on a dime to come to grips with the deep question of whether their loved one is now dead or not), and they argued. But they settled into a quiet routine in the following days, just going about their respective jobs and living around each other (divorce would have been gauche in a case like this, and legally they still owned the home together so, live together they did.) She spent this time quietly waiting for him maybe to come around. He spent the time sulking, and half-consciously processing the fact that he wasn't, technically, mourning.
It's important to note that these entities are called "Newborns," and up to this point in the story, in his thoughts and words Thomas (the PoV character) has only thought of this Newborn as "the Newborn," "it," "the Maria thing," things like that. I think sometimes "she" as well, but never by the name of his wife. The story up to this point doesn't make a big point about this, it's just the facts.
Special Concerns
Oh I've got special concerns. Real special concerns. But asking about them right this moment would actually mess with a reader's ability to approach the story as it is and with a natural reaction, so I reserve the right to ask about my special concerns in replies.
With that said, one thing I cannot cannot cannot get the hang of is naming this story. I'm open to advice on that front for sure!

Round 1, Pick 32 - Xavier Legette, WR, South Carolina:
NFL: Legette, who had a terrific final season at South Carolina, is physical and a big-time vertical threat. This addition should be a big part of Bryce Young’s development in Year 2.
CBS Sports: B+. They have to get weapons for Bryce Young, so landing him makes sense. He is a player who plays physical and runs better than you think. He’s only done it for one year.
ESPN: Coach Dave Canales said it best: Legette brings versatility. The Panthers absolutely fell in love with Legette's ability to make plays all over the field, from catching passes to jet sweeps to kick returns. That versatility at a skill position is something Bryce Young didn't have last season, so this adds a unique weapon to take pressure off the second-year quarterback. He is also big (6-foot-1, 221 pounds) and fast (4.39 40), unlike any other Carolina receiver. He's a perfect fit for what Canales wants to create with the pass and run games.
NFL Absolutely Not Fake News: Can’t believe he is about to fulfill his dream of being picked in the 2nd round.
Round 2, Pick 46 - Jonathon Brooks, RB, Texas:
NFL: Had Brooks not suffered a torn ACL in November, he might have been a first-round pick. He's a shifty, speedy back who can hit the hole and go, and he should be Carolina's starter before long. I thought they might go center here, but Brooks makes sense for a team that lacked offensive juice.
CBS Sports: B-. Fun, three-down RB without much mileage on his legs. Can win between the tackle or on the perimeter and has feature back size. Elusive but not ridiculously in that regard. Fills a need but maybe a touch early. May not be 100% by September.
ESPN: As much as Canales has said he's excited about backs Chuba Hubbard and Miles Sanders, he obviously believed the running game needed an upgrade. You don't take a back in the second round unless you plan to use him, although Brooks may need time to fully recover from ACL surgery that caused him to miss the final three games last season. He's a playmaker who has a nose for the end zone (10 touchdowns on 187 carries last season), and general manager Dan Morgan said he was looking for guys who can score.
NFL Absolutely Not Fake News: Mixes the milk and cereal in his mouth, one bite and drink at a time.
Round 3, Pick 72 - Trevin Wallace, LB, Kentucky:
NFL: A late addition to my top 100 prospects list, Wallace is a top-tier athlete who finally seemed to find his groove last season -- on special teams but especially on defense. He's capable of covering tight ends and running backs and should impact all four downs, but Wallace is young and could use a redshirt year before he's ready to be featured on defense.
CBS Sports: C. Stocky, springy off-ball LB with speed to the football but one of the least-effective block-defeaters/avoiders I’ve scouted at the position. Not around the football much in coverage but fluid zone drops and has the athleticism to run with TEs. Very good tackler. Just unique strengths/weaknesses.
ESPN: Morgan entered the draft looking for "dawg mentality'' and he got that in Wallace. "Dawg mentality means you don't care if you go hurt somebody,'' Wallace said. "You don't go in there soft. I want you to be scared of me.'' Wallace isn't necessarily a long-term replacement for 30-year-old Shaq Thompson, but his ability to cover the field side-to-side and with speed gives him the potential to do that. Give him a year or so behind Thompson and Josey Jewell and he could prove to be a Day 2 steal.
NFL Absolutely Not Fake News: Enjoys going to the park to make faces at little kids, making them cry.
Round 4, Pick 101 - Ja’Tavion Sanders, TE, Texas:
NFL: Sanders is a fascinating athlete who remains in the developmental stage. He's not a quality blocker yet but has some untapped receiving skill. This is a worthy risk by general manager Dan Morgan and Co. as their hunt for playmakers continues.
CBS Sports: B. Big recruit who produced at Texas and is a smooth mover. Good, not amazing YAC and not a pure speed type. Minimal blocking chops. Reasonable weapon for Bryce Young but lacks burst so will have to get schemed up to get most of his catches in the NFL.
ESPN: Definitely an upgrade at a position that quarterback Young could have used some help from during his rookie season. Canales has spoken highly of Tommy Tremble, but he's not the dynamic pass-catching tight end that Sanders can become. Sanders had 99 receptions in three seasons, tops for a tight end in Texas history. He could pose problems for defenses, like Greg Olsen did during the development of quarterback Cam Newton. This was a no-brainer at this point.
NFL Absolutely Not Fake News: Insists he can distinguish between 50 shades of beige.
Round 5, Pick 157 - Chau Smith-Wade, CB, Washington State:
NFL: Smith-Wade opened eyes with a solid week at the Senior Bowl, consistently showing up around the ball and disrupting passes. His length almost certainly makes him a nickel only on defense, but there's some potential here if CSW develops.
CBS Sports: B+. Agitating CB who played outside but will have a home in the slot in the NFL. Plays more athletically than his testing. Lightning quick feet. Because of his smaller size, he tends to opt for diving tackle attempts more than wrapping up. Speed is a concern but could be masked inside. Up for any challenge.
ESPN: A definite need for depth at a position where injuries have hurt the past few years. Smith-Wade will be a backup and special teamer at best this season. He offers speed (4.54 40) and nose for the football that GM Dan Morgan wants. He's coming off a soft-tissue injury that forced him to miss the final five games and is more of a project at this point. Nickel, where he had two interceptions in the Senior Bowl, may be his future in the NFL.
NFL Absolutely Not Fake News: Thinks being a scrum master sounds kinda cool.
Round 6, Pick 200 - Jaden Crumedy, DT, Mississippi State:
NFL: Being 300-plus pounds and running a sub-5.0 40-yard dash gets you drafted. Crumedy doesn't have sterling production, but his maturity and experience should give him an edge in a fight for a roster spot in Carolina.
CBS Sports: C+. Older, very experienced interior rusher who won from multiple alignments in the SEC and has smooth athletic traits. Production never matched how fluid he is as an athlete and his hands. Needs to have a pass-rush plan more often. Has long stretches of invisibility. Plays hard every snap.
ESPN: This is totally a depth move. His ability to push the pocket is what Carolina will look for out of him in its 3-4 scheme. He likely won't be a threat to start, but he has the flexibility and size (6-4, 301) to play inside or out. Depth behind a solid starting three is key here.
NFL Absolutely Not Fake News: Once put together a 50,000 piece puzzle. It was a picture of a cloud.
Round 7, Pick 240 - Michael Barrett, LB, Michigan:
NFL: Punishing hitter in a sawed-off frame. Barrett's poor length will be tough to overcome, but his forceful play style is inspiring.
CBS Sports: C+. Has a nice blend of traits - - power, burst, coverage skill - - but not always the quickest to read where the ball is going. Quicker than fast and needs to get better beating or avoiding blockers on the way to the football.
ESPN: Barrett is undersized at 5-11, 233 pounds, but he has a nose for the football and brings a physicality to the game that makes up for his lack of size. Barrett should get a chance to contribute immediately, at least on special teams.

Hi! My first post here.
To cut to the chase, I have a mother who always wants to find something wrong with my life. Ever since I was a child, she found the smallest things to be mad at me for, such as doing a chore just slightly incorrectly, and every single time she'd call me "useless". She constantly compared me to other children, and still does the same now and my big age of 19. Apparently, I'm not independent enough, and I don't care about her enough, even though I'm constantly going out of my way to prove that she's wrong. She's my mother, I would do anything for her. But she doesn't see that at all. Once, I told her I didn't like it when she called me worthless, and she told me that she said it because I am. She never apologized. Trust me, there's loads of things she's done to me that many of my friends feel like would justify me running away, but I'm not going to be too morbid.
At the same time, she's my best friend. I'm an only child who grew up with little friends, so the person I interacted with the most was her. We share a lot of the same interests and gossip about family drama. It's at those times, I feel like I'm wrong about her. But this time, she did something I feel I can't forgive her for.
Last July, I finally got a boyfriend. It seems like we're soulmates...we met on dating app but found that we have so many friends in common and also that we used to go to the same school as children. He's more than I could ever ask for. He travels to where I am by train for more than 2 hours every week (so a total of 4-5 hours). Once, he travelled more than 3 hours (a total of 6 hours) to see me in my university campus because I was feeling depressed about my assignments.
He indulges in my passions and interests. He doesn't have much money but sometimes scrimps on his meals throughout the week so he can afford to get me a small treat like ice cream when we see each other. He bought me roses on Valentines. He buys me meaningful gifts whenever he can. He understands me on a super deep level and we talk about everything. I could call him at 3am with a problem and he'd pick up. He never gets mad at me, and we've never had an argument because we always sort out our issues by communicating effectively. Heck, he even follows me to church sometimes because he wants to show me that he's interested in the things that matter to me and because he wanted to make a good impression on my mom-who married someone who never took interest in anything she did or liked let alone follow her to church every other week.
He's the most amazing guy I could ever want, and his family loves me (he jokes that they love me more than him). It's just that I haven't met them yet, since there's the distance to take into account, and because both his parents work so they're constantly busy. Also, they wanted to respect the fact that my mother might not let me go all the way to their house because of how far it is. Still, he always tells his family about me, and I often speak to his 3 sisters on the phone as they're younger than me and sometimes like hearing my advice.
My boyfriend, though, has met my mother on multiple occasions and she told me she loved him. My dad on the other hand, is actively avoiding meeting him (example: we were supposed to follow my dad to the temple for a special occasion, but at the last minute he backed out. He would never back out from that kind of thing).
If you're wondering, this is where the issue starts. My mother thinks it's incredibly suspicious that I haven't met his family yet (even though I told her I'm meeting them on the day my boyfriend graduates from pre-university). It was never really a big deal to me, since I have met his close friends and spoken to his sisters-and the fact his parents knew about me and liked me was enough. I understood that they are both busy working people and they live quite far from me. But yesterday, all this blew up in my face.
I asked my mother if she'd be okay with me taking a trip with my boyfriend, just for a couple of days, to celebrate our first anniversary. I wasn't expecting a yes or no, really. Just asking. Initially she yelled at me about how I haven't even met his parents yet and how he hasn't met my dad yet (which was entirely his fault) and said we should do it in September instead. I said okay.
Then, when I got back to campus later that night, I called her again to check up on her and she brought this up again. She said my dad disapproved of the trip and went on for 15 minutes about many things. I'll summarize in a list about what she said.

• He isn't good enough for you
• He doesn't want you to meet his family
• His family probably doesn't like you because they haven't met you yet
• You guys are taking things too fast and should continue getting to know each other
• You're always sacrificing for him
• You're getting the short end of the stick
• There are better people for you to date
• You're sacrificing your studies for him and you'll get distracted by him

As you can see, none of these are true. The last one made me especially angry because I go to what is known as a "smart kid school" in my country and it's very hard to get a distinction on our assignments! However, a condition on my student loan says if I get first class honors, they will cancel my debt completely. So my mom kept burdening me with how I dug a hole by myself for choosing to be in a relationship with him during university life (EVEN THOUGH, she wanted me to date around in university before. The difference is, she wanted me to basically be a playboy...playgirl? I don't know. When my mom was young she was exactly that. Had tons of boyfriends and cheated on a lot of them. She even told me to join a speed dating event).
I had never been so hurt in my life! What happened to "don't worry about money just focus on getting your degree"? Anyway, my boyfriend never complains when I tell him I need to be by myself on that day because I need to study and do my work...I'm one of the hardest workers in my class and he knows how much my studies mean to me. It's not my fault I'm not getting distinctions.
Now I'm a mess. I want her to love my boyfriend, and I want my dad to love my boyfriend. But he's truly done as much as he can to get their approval but he's depressed himself knowing that none of his efforts have been seen by them. He has a life, a curfew, and a worrying mother too...he can't always be accommodating to me (his mother initially didn't like me because she felt like he was spending too much time and money coming to see me but came around eventually), so I accommodate to him whenever by choosing a convenient location for us to meet up and meeting up at a later time. Because of this, my mother says I'm doing too much because distance isn't an excuse (it kind of is).
Anyhow, my question is, how in the world do I deal with this? Or at least, I need some comfort...this is the best relationship I'm honestly ever going to have but my mother wants me to date around because that's what she thinks having fun means. She thinks I'm sacrificing everything when the truth is, I'm having loads of fun in university with my new friends, I still see my old friends, and I have more than enough time to focus on my studies. He's not distracting me from everything.
How do I convince such a stubborn woman to be on my side?

Who is protecting the Empress of the Sun Hestia look who has Red hair and Red eyes and wears a White Kimono with red spots. Just then a group of people wearing brown robes and white masks are led by a bald creepy dude with a Scar on his right eye. He approaches the throne and begins to speak.
The creepy dude My majesty My name is Bob and my group are a bunch of nomads who travel from World to world gathering intel and giving them to each kingdom and we heard rumors about Cataclysm prison weakening. And we would like to have your Sword Empress of the sun. So we can use it to defeat Cataclysm.
Bob walks up the steps before Cutie's sword hangs by his neck stopping him.

Bob Well you two figure out my plan already so I guess I have no option but to take it from force.
Just then Bob uses his magic spell to pull out his sword and he and his minions begin to attack. Cutie and Molly try to fight back but it is too much for them and get captured and Bob’s minions capture Hestia as Bob grabs the sword and glances at it.
Bob This Sword is a decoy. (Bob then shatters it with his magic) Minions drag Cutie to the Castle dungeon while carry Hestia to that special place)
Cutie struggles against the minions' control while they drag him to the dungeon. Cut to five years later and we see Cutie shirtless hung up in the dungeon walls shirtless wearing only his pants and a piece of cloth covering his head except his eyes. Then Bob and his cultist.
Bob Well Cutie it’s been five years and still you won’t tell us where the Real Empress sword is!

Bob Leaves the dungeon and enters a room which is in some blackish glow surrounded with red hue. At the floor is a star shape enclosed by a circle on the floor. There Bob stands at the edge and raises his hands which then begin to be turning a metallic silver. He begins to wave his hands and a Star shape pattern begins to have a pinkish water swirling around it then when it clears out we see Star Butterfly at the center of the Star pattern.
Bob Hello Princess My name is Bob and you have something that we need. (Bob then materializes some mask’s then drops them on the ground where mud surrounds the mask’s then the mud raises the Mask which then forms into humanoid shape).
Star Butterfly I’m sorry but this Wand isn’t yours to keep.
Star Shoots a Rainbow energy beam at Bob but he blocks it with nothing but his bare Metallic hands.
Bob I’m impressed that the sword has a few tricks up his sleeves. But I’ve had a few tricks up my sleeves myself.
Bob then shoots a sliver beam at Star and pulls out a golden butterfly from her chest and places it into a jar.

Star Butterfly I say Narwhal blast. A large Narwhal appears and slides down destroying many of Bob's minions and then pinning Bob to a wall. She then runs away from the room.
Bob After her she must not escape with that sword.
Star flees Bob’s goons and hides in the dungeon where she begins to hear the song Always look on the bright side of light she follows the sound to a cell where she see’s Cutie hanging from the wall.

Cutiesaurs Let me explain. Long ago before you before me before the kingdom of Mewni before time. Three gods and three goddesses appear. They created the rift then they created time then they created the universe then gave life to them. They taught each creature in the multiverse how to care and love and respect one another. However for order there must be chaos and chaos took the form of Cataclysm. He corrupted everything the gods and goddess did, undoing their work. So they fought back; the battle lasted a thousand year with the records of the events being lost though a few survived. After Cataclysm was weakened the Gods and Goddess locked him up in a prison out of space and out of time. With their own swords. They then gave the six swords to six universe’s. The Sword of Retro, The Sword of the sea, the Sword of sweets, The Sword of reality, The Sword of the sun, finally the Sword of Mewni. They form the kingdoms around the swords. But sadly over time the kingdoms lost knowledge of their past and swords. Except for two. The Kingdom of the Sun saved knowledge of the past and the kingdom of Mewni kept their sword safe. Which is why that wand you have is important; it's the last known sword that prevents the unleashing of Cataclysm.

Cutiesaurs (sarcastly) Yes, much like a shortcut. (sarcasm ends) Anyway The rift used to be how one person got from one realm to the other. It was the world that was between realms. However with the invention of technologies and how certain realms like our Kingdom of the sun here isolated themselves. The Rift was no longer used and ships were turned to scrap. Well before I came along and fixed this baby up. Let’s go inside and take a tour and start this baby up.

I was planning a larger treehouse for my kids, with concrete footings and 6x6s, but after reading about how hard it is to auger through large tree roots with 2 man or hydraulic rigs, I am reconsidering my plans, as my treehouse location has 3 large trees within 20 feet of the 42" holes I'd need to dig.
With this in mind, I am planning to simplify my plans, and build a small platform around a tree, using concrete deck blocks with 4x4s fastened to them. My plan was to then use 2x8s for the frame, with 2x8 joists. I'd frame out a spot for a hatch door, have a rope ladder on the side, a tree to go through the center. I do not want to attach any joist directly to the tree, as to allow for tree growth.
The tree I'll be building this around, is 4' from my fence line. I plan to build about 6" in the air.
I am having a hard time finding answers to how large a platform with 4x4s and deck blocks.
How large of a platform can this set up support? I'm thinking perhaps 5x8. If that is too big, would adding additional footings in the center, help? How about doubling the frame?
Any thoughts, comments, and recommendations would be appreciated.

i got reddit just for this so.. it’s a bit of a long one but i got my lip pierced about 6-7 months ago. it was healing really well and fast and i wasn’t about to pay money to change my stud to a ring so i did it myself last week. i think it reacted badly (though i don’t have any metal sensitivities im aware of, nothing like this has happened to my ears or nose) and it was swelling and bruising badly. the ring wasn’t big enough to accommodate it even after a few days of me waiting for it to go down, so i just took it out until i could pick up a new one after work today (it was too sore to put my stud back in so i figured it would be okay for a day.) anyway i didn’t pick up a new ring but it wasn’t sore or bleeding or bruised anymore today so i was gonna put my stud back in but i think it healed a little TOO fast because now it feels too thick to push through myself or maybe the ring changed the direction of the hole during the week? anyway i don’t wanna risk making it worse but what should i do? do i wait for it to heal more and get it redone or get it redone now? would they even do that😭 or should i tough it out and push it back through like i normally can with my lips or nose.. please help i miss my lip ring it looked so cool

Sorry in advance if I sound like I am rambling. This just happened a few hours ago and I am still crying.
For some background, I (30 f) messaged my SIL (32f) yesterday to wish her a happy Mother’s Day and to let her know I had a gift for her and a gift for my niece (6f) for my nieces up coming birthday. I always make the kids in the family something for their birthday since I am rather crafty and prefer to be more original.
My SIL, BIL, DH and I have had a rocky relationship for years. The past couple of years I have been keeping my distance as I do not feel welcome and because I am working on boundaries. There were some accusations (most founded) that they were on drugs. That is some crap I do not want around my kids. Yet, it is my “issues” that cause tension in the family because I have decided that my little nuclear family deserves rve some peace. I only bend a little bit if there is a party because the kids adore each other.
SIL told me that my niece is having a party and we were supposed to be invited. I told her that surprised me since my MIL said she had not heard of a party. She told me this when we discussed the gift I made my niece. It is an epoxy hummingbird hair clip. It took a lot of time to get right and I was quite proud of it.
SIL said BIL was supposed to extend invites to his side of the family. MIL showed me screenshots of the messages where he asked if my kids were coming (as usual) but no word of me.
SIL wrote a huge message saying BIL didn’t have a way to get a hold of me or my DH, and that of course we were invited as we are family.
It is important to note that they hold their children above our heads as a threat to take them away at the drop of a hat if things do not go their way. This has caused a lot of drama over the past 8 years. The past 2 of which I thought we were on bad terms. This was based on some comments the kids often made and the last time we said more than 2 words to each other it was a big fight.
I told SIL that it did not seem like BIL wanted me there for anything more than my kids and that I did not feel comfortable because the only person who even mentioned that I was welcome was SIL. I have gotten to the point where if I do not feel welcome I will not go. I suffer from Fibromyalgia, depression, and anxiety. And while I am doing better to take care of myself, things are still difficult.
I told SIL that it was ok, I don’t want to cause tension and I actually had plans to see my mom this weekend. My mom lives a couple of hours away and sometimes I get to see my brother. It is cathartic for all of us as my husband gets a break before and after work and I get my family time once or twice a month. We normally craft together and have our “crafting therapy” which is something I really need lately.
The last couple of times I went to my mom’s my son was with MIL and FIL. My mom had me promise that during the summer I would bring my son with me at least once a month. I think this is fair so I agreed.
My SIL wrote a long answer that she sent when I was taking a nap, (No sleep last night so my nerves are frayed) Honestly I have read it twice and have not retained much of the message.
During my nap I missed 2 calls from my MIL. Then I woke up to my MIL bursting into my bedroom, no we do not live with her; she drove to our house, pounded on our door, DH let her in. She barged into my room and started yelling at me. How could I tell SIL that the screenshots were sent to me? How could I tell her we talk? (Huh?) Do I know that SIL called MIL screaming about everything? Do I know FIL is on the phone in a screaming match with BIL? And the last one was that SIL told MIL that if I do not come to my nieces birthday then my MIL would not be allowed to see the kids again.
I woke up to all of this. My DH was trying to figure out what was going on or how to handle it.
Just as quick as MIL came, she turned around and left. I offered to show her exactly what I said, but no. All my fault.
I know this situation is all drama. This is the first time in 2 years that I tried to have an actual conversation with SIL. I tried to be honest, not even brutally, just honest about how I feel.
After MIL left, my kids came in my room and hugged me. They heard everything. What 6 and 3 year old needs to see their mom break down like that?
I called my mom and told her everything and that I started falling into the dark hole of depression again. I know I am exhausted both physically and emotionally. I just needed to get this out.
This is not the first time taking the kids away has been used as a manipulation tool but this time I am being blamed for it. IDK what to do. I just want to curl up into a ball and hide from everything. I want to see my family and to stop feeling like a pawn of this fucked up chess game. I need to remember I am the queen of my own set, tackling my own problems on my own board. I was finally getting to a good place. I just hope this crap does not derail my progress again.

Hello enfp female here, I think I developed a crush for a enfj male
When I met him he was seeing a girl and I did not even saw him in a romantic way, we became friends, the fling he had with the girl stopped, and the more the months past the more attracted I start to feel towards him, we spent multiple weekend together with friend and we have often have activity we do together during the week, I don’t have a problem holding a conversation with him even for hours and he makes me laugh and I make him laugh, the slight problem is the insecurity I have with my self. Long story short, I had a bad experience with a guy growing up that left me traumatize and scared of intimacy , so even with a first kiss with someone I might start panicking and have a full panic attack, despite the fact that I am conventionally pretty I have many insecurity and a problem with the skin of my body (wich no one would tell when I’m dress) and we are literally (for the life we live) surrounded by model type girls.
Anyway, I know male enfj tend to have many female friends and I knew I was probably in the friend zone, last weekend after we spent every night of the week doing something together (with other friends) we ended up being the only two left at this club, he was really drunk, being super touchy and at some point I was hugging in order to not let him falling down, and he started kissing my neck and sucking my cheek as if he were to kiss me and I kind of freeze because of my problems and as soon as he was close to my mouth I Just told him, “not like this”. He turned around and ask me if I could keep a secret and he told me he was going to a concert with this girl we both know (she is oh so beautiful and nice and educate, and sporty but elegant at the same time, and she feels like the sun) I asked him what was the secret and he told me, he knew he probably shouldn’t go, since she was not THE one really.
He was so drunk he kept the cycle of asking me “can you keep a secret” and telling me the same thing about the girl all night” I menage to get him out of the club and let him sleep in my spare bedroom. At around noon I left the house, he slept in.
I went to his place at around 19:30 after he had just left mine, because he had my keys and he said he never blackouts drunk and wanted to know what happened, I told him everything, except the sucking on my neck and cheek, and we spent the rest of the night opening up, at around 01:00 am he let me understood it was late, and I started to try to find a taxi on the app, he took his guitar out and started to play music on it, the apps for the taxi kept on not accepting calls, and I became to be visibly frustrated, he told me there was no rush, but I was mortified, at the fourth time I was rejected by the taxi app he said I could spend the night at his place, but he did not have anything comfortable for me, I said no, because I was feeling like I was imposing my presence (it is though the third time he offers me to sleep at his place), in the end I found a taxi and went home, we are still in contact, but he is going with this girl at this concert, and while we were talking the second night he said, “I’m not saying I like her, but I’m intrigued”, and he read their text conversation to me, wich was static and nothing like ours, while we where talking we also touch the argument of some boy I talked to during the winter and he asked me if I kept in touch with him, we also talked about many other things, also we laughed about the fact that for a while I thought I had a crush for his bf, he was surprise to know I had met him just a week before I met him, nothing came from that, because his friend just saw me as a friend and we laughed about the situation, he also told me a story about a girl he thought was crushing on the friend many years ago and he ended up kissing her instead. When I went home I found some flowers at my place, As I said he had slept in the guest bed and made a mess and try to make everything nice while staying there all afternoon while I was out. (BTW it’s not a big deal for me receiving flower, I loved them and every guy I know knows it)
Now I have so many details to share if you have questions, but the main one is, how much am I in the friend zone? And how do I get out of it with an enfj?
