I'm helping a friend to format his computer and he have Edius Pro 8 on it, so before formatting it I'm looking around about how EDIUS license system works and I've find out that this company is a totally mess abount consistency on branding. They have thousands of different websites for every different versions and languages, I don't even know if the domain I'm on is even legit or not. The support page on one of them gives me some links to some community forums but most of them are dead: The official english one is the most populated but they have disabled the registration so I cannot even post on it ("Sorry, registration has been disabled by the administrator."), any other places are sketchy as hell. What the heck is going on.
Anyway, what I should do before formatting? I've read that I have to open the license manager in Edius to disable the computer to "free" the license, then install on the fresh windows and reactivate it... but, because Edius Pro 8 is old and looks that the company likes to change domains and servers frequently I don't want to risk that I cannot activate the software anymore because of that. So, is it still possible to activate Edius Pro 8 in 2024? Or, can I migrate eventually the files that sais the software is activated so I don't have to deactivate and reactivate the software? Thanks

So, just recently I brought multiple orders of Lps from LPS queen.com (Probably a mistake on my part, should've noticed at all those fake positive reviews first). Anyway, I noticed that all my orders have already been claimed as fulfilled. I know for a fact this isn't possible as I live far and only ordered them a couple days ago. I emailed the email the site gave me AND the actual chat ON the site. No response. On the site for the email, it says I can expect an email back in 24 hours. It's been a little longer than that. And nothing. On the site for the chat, it says the response time is only a couple minutes. It's been hours and I suspect it'll be longer.
Not only that, but my order numbers do not work. My order numbers seem to be for orders that were ALREADY delivered and are definitly not mine, as they were shipped out ages before I brought mine. Like, huh??? I know this is the legit LPS QUEEN website and I'm so confused.
I've heard a few things about fakes and forgotten lps. That, I don't mind, though I'll definitly be dissapointed if the rare lps I brought is fake. The others not so much. But still, Has anybody else had an experience like this? Where LPS queen is not responding or something similar??

This whole situation with Coinbase has been a nightmare. A few years ago, I convinced my parents to invest in Bitcoin, a significant amount for our family. Initially, I used Binance for them, but eventually, I moved it to a Coinbase account thinking it would be more secure (huge mistake in hindsight). Since they're not very tech-savvy, a personal wallet wasn't an option, and I was worried about potential tax implications if I transferred the funds to my own wallet. It's important to note that they are Spanish citizens living in Spain.
In May 2022, I transferred their funds from Binance to Coinbase. Late last year, my father started receiving emails from Coinbase asking to verify his account. Unfortunately, they ended up in his spam folder and went unnoticed. These emails were in English, which he doesn't understand, so he didn't think much of them.
Last Sunday, May 12th, my father informed me that his Coinbase account showed a zero balance for Bitcoin (BTC). Initially, I thought he might be looking at the wrong place, but no. • Their solution? To deal directly with Wyoming's Unclaimed Property Division.
• There's a website to check for unclaimed assets, but it shows nothing with my father name, and calls to Wyoming's Unclaimed Property Division go unanswered.

This entire ordeal has been incredibly stressful for me and my parents.

Me and my fiance have lived at this residence for 9 months our lease is up in September and the landlord is a private landlord who lives in the home he's 20y/o and he told us on Saturday night he is calling his realtor tomorrow (sunday) and the house will be posted august 1st so it would be best if we can all be out by July so he could undergo fixing up the house to sell we pay 1200 a month for a room and attached bathroom. We live right down the street from an elementary school so legally he can't even live here. All the roommates hate him he is a mooch already owes me $200 for the groceries I bought and the piercings he guilted me into paying for with the promise to pay me back. He surprisingly does have a gf but she lives in another state and he legit cheated on her a week before she flew across the country to see him and she also was the one who payed a month of his rent btw she still doesn't know he fucked someone else btw. BUT ANYWAYS he (landlord) said he doesn't like how we all are hating on each other and blaming each other for things (the new roommate also has a tendency to leave crusty dishes in the sink and lock the one lock no one has a key to) and when we all point out none of these things were happening before this guy moved in he jumps to defend this guy. I have no clue why but at this point we are just looking for different housing there was an apartment perfectly in our budget that I wanted to tour tomorrow and I requested a specific unit literally earlier today my email got ignored and now it's taken off the website so I'm anxious to be able to afford other complexes we don't have a huge savings because we were planning on being here for a while longer and all of our money has gone into the wedding as of late so I dunno what's some good tips when it comes to apartments and no I'm not seeing landlord for breaking lease because at this point I would rather disconnect from this place entirely.
Edit: I also have bought all trash bags laundry detergent cleaning supplies and groceries in this house that all roommates use daily even ziplock bags (also they all game on console and guess who bought the AA batteries 🫣) so help me make a list of things that I could take to inconvenience them because I want to forget them but they shouldn't forget the person who's been a literal piggy bank and supply hauler for them
