Letter to old boyfriend

hey guys, i’m on reddit cause i can’t get an answer off of google (which i don’t really trust to help me anyways) but my whole life i’ve had this thing with food and liquids that i’ve learned isn’t normal? i realized this when my boyfriend and i ate in the car, and maybe an hour later returned to the car and starting to drink his cup of soda again even though it was an hour old. With me, i can’t start a drink (even bottled) and return to it more than a few hours later (which leads to many half filled bottles laying around my room) and i can’t eat food that’s been left out, or if food doesn’t look right or feel right in my mouth i just can’t eat it..it’s especially hard with fruits, as i can’t eat even slightly squishy fruit or fruit with any imperfections on them (like a bruise or just something that looks weird to me). I also have trouble with expiration and best by dates, my mom always says I can still eat something past its best buy date but im just too afraid to do it. I don’t know what’s wrong with me

Hello, this is something you might have missed in Help Wanted 2.
Previously Post Interesting things:

1. Our main character, HW Jeremy, Cassie's dad, is already wearing the Security Mask before we even start the game. This means Glitchtrap has access to his mind and body. As for what that entails...
2. Help Wanted 2's AMask-on version of the FNAF6 Pizzaria might be based on Micheal's canonical look for it near the end of Pizzaria Simulator.
3. After completing each minigame, a party hat, plate, and cup will appear on the table next to you. Whose party are we attending as a guest?
4. The protagonist of Help Wanted 2 is HW Jeremy, discovered through the color blue items which are prominent in the game and used for his name and shirt in Ruin. Jeremy was a former employee of Circus Baby's Entertainment and Rental and may have been present during the events of Sister Location.
5. In the First Aid minigame of Help Wanted 2, the "GET WELL SOON!" drawings depict Baby's life as seen through Vanny's eyes, hinting towards the game's secret ending. These drawings also reveal that Baby's data card from Sister Location was inside Helpy in Pizzeria Simulator and survived the fire. As a result, her programming was eventually absorbed into the Pizzaplex's Network, leading to her appearance in Help Wanted 2.
6. Glitchtrap may have collected the souls and memories of the original dead kids into the Pizzaplex's Network and in this game, Jeremy is going is his memories.
7. Help Wanted 2's Fizz Faz minigame's location is the same but different location in Security Breach. They both have identical objects placed in the exact place as each other, giving evidence to the fact that Jeremy is physically moving to certain locations in the Pizzaplex when clicking on the minigames.

Once in the restaurant again, Helpy as always when you completed a minigame, informed you that a new task was available to you. Checking the Staff Only folder revealed that it was the next night of Fizzy Faz, which you clicked on to open its pop-up window.

You know I've been meaning to get into the Helpi of this game. That's right not even a second paragraph into the next part and we're already deep diving into another subject!
So lets start with the interesting thing about Helpi in Help Wanted 2, is he actually Glitchtrap? Yes, no, and maybe. Let's think it through.
Unlike his Ruin variant, Help Wanted 2's Helpi only appears in one place, the projector screen in the hub world. Also unlike Ruin's this Helpi has a completely different design.
Although those two points about this Helpi don't give us much to work on to figure out why he the way he is in this game at first glance. It actually gives us a ton of information!
For one, his design and singular placement in the game tell us that this Helpi is not a part of the V.A.N.N.I. network like Ruin Helpi was. How can I know this? Simple. The V.A.N.N.I. network does not cover the FNAF 6 pizzeria.
You see something that I didn't cover in my Ruin deep dive is its Brazil ending. In that ending, Cassie puts on the Security Mask and integrates into the network one last time as she hides from the Mimic behind a Fredbear's cutout. But how could this be when Helpi explicitly tells us that the V.A.N.N.I. network ends at the door to the underground?
Something that I learned when I started my quest to prove stuff, especially when it comes to the endings of these games, is that each of the alternate endings we're given, no matter if they're the canon ending or not, provides us with valuable information about the ongoings of the game. Including stuff that's happening in the background sort of speak.
Take my "One ending leads to Ruin" post for example. Some of Security Breach's endings give us a pretty clear picture of what Vanny was doing when Gregory and Freddy went underground for the Burn It All Down ending.
The Alley ending for instance has Vanny tracking down Gregory into its namesake. But how Vanny knows that Gregory has left the building so quickly and managed to follow him right after he leaves is only hinted at in the To the Rooftop ending. During that ending we're are shown that Vanny is on the rooftop before Gregory gets there, much to his shock.
You see when deciding to escape the Pizzaplex rather than confront Vanny, Gregory falls right into one of her traps. Vanny knows that Gregory is going to try and escape the building once it hits 6:00 a.m. because she made almost every exit to the Pizzaplex unavailable and inaccessible to him until that time.
The front entrance, of course, opens at 6:00 a.m., and The loading dock requires at least a level seven clearance, which would take literally hours for Gregory to get. This leaves only one possible exit for him to leave through and the one place she can ambush him and catch him by surprise, the Pizzaplex's rooftop.
So when 6:00 a.m. hits and she still doesn't have him, Vanny waits on the roof as it provides her with a vantage point to catch him or spot which way he leaves the Pizzaplex. Unfortunately for her, but not too unfortunate considering all the possible endings, Gregory had decided to confront not her, but the true source of evil and attempt to Burn it All Down.
Though funnily enough, The Getaway ending, in which Greg and Fred steal a van, was the best possible escape plan, because the van provides Gregory the advantage of speed to outrun Vanny when she spots him from the rooftop.
All of this is information that could only be gained by looking at what the other endings tell us about what could possibly happen if different choices are made.
So what does the Brazil ending of Ruin inform us?
It can tell us that the Vanny Mask can connect to the Pizzaplex's network outside of the V.A.N.N.I network. If you are confused by my wording, let me explain as I haven't talked about it in a while. But the Pizzaplex has a main network and subnetworks. The main network is basically the foundation for every other network in the Pizzaplex, like the security system, the wet floor bots, and Glamrock Bonnie network, the various attractions' network, and the V.A.N.N.I network.
So the V.A.N.N.I network is not actually required for the Security Mask to be used, just the main network of the Pizzaplex, and as the hidden cameras of Ruin show us, at least one subnetwork connects all the down to where the Mimic was sealed. Way past where Jeremy is in the FNAF6 pizzeria.
But you don't really need the Brazil ending to find this out as the sequence leading up to it helps tease that out. No, what the Brazil ending tells us, or rather shows us and relates to Help Wanted 2, is that Helpi can appear outside of the V.A.N.N.I network.
How can I know this is Helpi? If you're referring to this Helpi, our little helper from the Security Mask, then no, I'm not talking about that Helpi. Whom I'm referring too is a variant I've come to call Helpmi. In Ruin, this corrupted version of Helpi is defined by his slight change in appearance and personality.
But more than that as I talked about in my "Helpi is a victim Prove it!" post. The source of our corrupted Helper in Ruin and is using him as a puppet is other than Glitchtrap. Our malhare has quite the fondness of using other known characters in the franchise as a trojan horse with which to interact and manipulate things. A quirk developed from his Mimic and Aftons origins, no doubt.
So when I say that Helpi can appear outside of the V.A.N.N.I network. What I'm actually saying is that Glitchtrap's Helpmi decoy can appear outside of that network. And that decoy can appear as any variant of Helpi, including Glamrock Helpy who makes an appearance in the Brazil ending instead of V.A.N.N.I. Helpi.
As to why it's Glamrock Helpy and not V.A.N.N.I Helpi who appears in that final image of that ending, I'm not totally sure. It could be that Cassie would be more familiar with that variant of Helpy as that one is the current standard design in the Pizzaplex, it may be because V.A.N.N.I Helpi is actually an entity compared to the other Helpys, or could be because Glamrock Helpy was the first version of him to be controlled by Glitchtrap.
Each possibility is likely, but no way to know the truth of it. At least for now.
But what's important here is that Glitchtrap is capable of showing those who wear the Security Mask a Helpi decoy that can direct them to do what he wants while he hides in the shadows. And that decoy can shift its appearance to fit any occasion.
Say a certain pizzeria that's deep under the Pizzaplex.
Is this Helpi actually Glitchtrap? Yes. Unlike Ruin's Helpi, this one is entirely Glitchtrap in disguise with no alter ego.
Wow, I just clocked in on that! Glitchtrap actually shows another trait of his Mimic predecessor by having a habit of putting on disguises! That is interesting...
Helpi, Nightmarrione plushie, and even Burntrap to an extent. I've been wondering why in this game, Glitchtrap seemed so intent on being hidden from our view. Especially since this is the type of situation that we should expect to see him since our mind is in the network.
We never see him up close, have a direct view of his full body, or face him directly. It can't be because he's stuck somewhere and has to communicate through a proxy as he personally hands us the memory dolls and even personally plays with us directly with his hand puppet in the Bonk-a-Bon minigame.
Maybe Glitchtrap being so hidden from us in these games after Help Wanted is not because he was cut from the games, but because he's deliberately hiding from the protagonists of these games' point of view and uses disguise to interact with them. Hmm...
Okay, we're getting off-topic now. But we will talk about this at a later date.
As for this Helpi retro appearance, I believe it has to do with being inside the pizzeria. This restaurant although is the location where FNAF 6 took place, may also be the place where a carnival happened to be. And if that giant Freddy we find near this restaurant is any indication, a Freddy 's-themed carnival that coincides with a certain annual festival that we've been hinted about in these new-era games.
Anyway, that about wraps it up about Helpi in this game. But I want to get further along in the deep dive to see if there's any else I can glean from this decoy.
Let's get back to the Help Wanted 2!

"Fizzy Faz fun! Meet production quotas and protect the bottom line." this was what the pop window for Fizzy Faz Night 2 read before pressed the TUTORIAL button and was transported by darkness into the void again.
"Make the correct order and send it up to the delivery unit. " "Give S.T.A.F.F. Bots a break occasionally or you may regret it." "Use the
Emergency Shut Down if things get out of hand."
Were what the ominous instructions floating in the void greeted you with. It looks like things aren't going to be so easy this night if that third one was any indication. With a press of the start button and a blink of darkness later, you find yourself back in the Mixing Room once again.
"You are back." was FIZZ Bot welcoming on your return.
"S.T.A.F.F may become hostile." Another warning about the dangers of the S.T.A.F.F bots. Looks like you are really going to need to start paying attention to them and how much of each ingredient you have.
"Give forced break." Nothing about your surroundings changed from what you've seen. Even that half-empty Sodaroni can that was between the tall monitor and the button control panel in front of you last time, was still there. So you decided to take these next few moments to prepare yourself for what's to come.
"If S.T.A.F.F strike, use SHUTDOWN button. Force reboot." Was the end of Fizz Bot's short and clip instructions for the night before the tall monitor let up, implying the shift had started and the work had begun.
(Oooh, that's what that button does, reboot the S.T.A.F.F bots. I thought it was just a lockdown button. I should've probably paid more attention to Fizz Bot's explanation on my first watch-through of this game.)
It was all going well enough for you, you followed the list of ingredients, placed the container in the delivery unit, and kept an eye on the S.T.A.F.F bots as quickly and as best as you could. Rinse and repeat.
To your misfortune though.
A loud metallic screeching noise echoed throughout the Mixing Room, throwing you off your rhythm and causing you to stare out your window and into the warehouse itself. You didn't see anything, so you checked the cameras for the source of the noise.
Your best wasn't good enough.
A whirring sound pulled your gaze off the monitor and back to our front window as something that wasn't there before had pulled up to the window and was now standing there.
It was a S.T.A.F.F bot but not one that you've seen before. It was covered in dirt like someone had pulled it out of some old dusty dirt pile left in some forgotten part of the warehouse. But more than that, someone had decided to give it strange markings made by a black marker.
Its eyes were blacked out and tear marks were given to its face along with a drawn gaping mouth designed in a way to give the impression of teeth and three stripes were made around its forearms. But the strangest thing about this bot besides the fact that it was made to look like Nightmarionne, was that there was writing on its chest and what it read.
"In your Dreams."
What? But before you could think another thought, the bot slammed its hands against the glass window before rolling itself towards your right. Right to the open exit door.
In a moment of panic and quick thinking, you slammed the emergency SHUT DOWN button in front of you before you lost sight of it in the front window. Immediately, sparks shot up from various areas in the room as a metal wall came down from above and blocked the front window and a metal door came down in the doorway. Shielding you inside the room that was currently letting off an alarm sound and blinking a red light.
With the metal shield blocking the front window and your right short monitor displaying a black screen preventing you from seeing the cameras, you were totally isolated from the ongoing outside of the room you were in.
Luckily, your other monitor was on and still gave you the current order, so using this time wisely, you finished up the next few orders before the shutdown was over.
Which was soon enough as the metal shields went back up, the red lights turned off, and the alarm became silent. The Nightmarionne bot that was once in your front view has disappeared, but you had no time to be more thorough in your search for it as you still had orders to complete and S.T.A.F.F. bots to manage.

I find it really odd and curious that the Nightmarione bots in this minigame don't have their glowing white eyes like in Security Breach. Is this implying that the minigame's version of these bots is just a recreation rather than being the real ones?
I just went and checked out the normal ending for this game because I remembered that the Nightmarione bots appear there too and the same goes for them. No white eyes...
At first, I was going to brush this whole thing off as just an ordinary appearance of that special S.T.A.F.F. bot. But the missing eyes thing is starting to make me believe that something else is going on here with those bots in particular.
But what?
I know that the S.T.A.F.F. bots, or at least some of them, have the souls of Fazbear employees or other victims trapped within them due to Security Breach voice lines for them. Is this telling us that the souls within them are no longer there? Or is it telling us that the souls aren't in the network that we are in?
What I mean by that last line, is that both in this minigame and the ending, we are integrated into the network through the Security Mask. But unlike Ruin, we are integrated into a different network, not the V.A.N.N.I. network.
Still, there's got to be a reason why Steel Wool decided not to give them their signature white eyes in Help Wanted 2. I can't think of anything so I'll just stick a mental pin on this for later.

Before long, the ending shift alarm rang throughout the warehouse letting you know that your shift has ended and your work was completed. "Return and work. Save time tomorrow." Was the last thing you heard before you were transported back to "GAME WON!" void to claim your reward from the claw machine.
Which turned out to be something surprising compared to the other prizes you've gotten from the machine. It was a red gumball machine with arms and googly eyes, aptly named Gumball Swivelhands.
Pressing the "RETURN TO HUB" button had you transported back to the restaurant. Once there, it was the same as usual. Helpy notifying you, that there was another task available and huh?
You spotted something in the left side corner of the restaurant that wasn't there before. What was weird was that it was something that you've become recently familiar with. Like, a couple of seconds ago.
Standing before you, right next to a bill-to-change machine, with an open smile, extended eyelashes, and a propeller hat was Gumball Swivelhands. How did it get here? Did someone place it here? Could you get a gumball?
No matter the question asked, the answer remained unknown to you. But this goofy gumball machine made you wonder if other prizes you receive will show up here too.
There was only one way to find out.
Back at the computer station, you clicked on the Staff Only folder to presumingly start Fizzy Faz Night 3 but you were shocked to find that the next unlocked file was another corrupted file. In fact, you had another file that was corrupted in addition to that.
This meant there were no more tasks that you could complete in the Staff Only folder until you figured out how to fix these corrupted files.
You stood there, staring at the screen wondering how were you supposed to fix them, until you sighed and closed the Staff Only folder window. There was absolutely nothing you could do, so the only logical choice you had was to pick a different folder to complete for now. Who knows, maybe one prize you will receive from one of these other folders holds the key to the corrupted files.
But which folder should you do next?
(By using a random letter generator and picking the starting letter of a YouTuber's name, we decide what to do next! So the honor of picking the next folder goes to... Huh, I guess there's not a YouTuber that played Help Wanted 2 with L as the first letter in their name.
Alright then, next letter! It's A! Which means Astralspiff!)
You decided to do Ticket Both next as you were curious as to what exactly that entailed. Clicking on the folder caused its popup window to be displayed and revealed what the folder contains. And surprisingly, there were only three things in it. Needless to say, that was much less than what the other folder had.
There were two locked folders and a file that was named Carousel with an icon of its namesake. Looks like this is going to be a little bit more interesting than the other ones too, going by just its name alone.
(Oh joy! It's the Moon minigame!)
Another click brought up the Carousel pop window which stated, "Enjoy a ride on the classical Fazbear antique carousel. May require technical support." Alright, it was time for you to see what this was all about and see what this folder had in store for you. And so with one more click, your vision was covered in black.

Not gonna lie, I was pumped to finish Night 3 of Fizzy Faz in this part. This is the second time where I'm ready to do a two-in-one special within one part! But I guess the Ticket Both minigames are going to have the honor of fulfilling that.
And oh joy, am I excited to get into this carousel minigame as my mind has given me an interesting thought which we'll explore more™ in the next part!

I am 54M and have been married for over 23 years and am still in love with my wife. I have always been faithful to my wife. My wife has been faithful to me as well. Some may question me as to how do I know my wife has been faithful. We are still in love with each other and have been married for a long time. We cannot lie to each other and she would not be able to hide it from me. We both dislike people who cheat.
I am a manager at my work. I was transferred to the office I am working at for over five years ago. I have been working with this company for almost 30 years. In this office, there are about 20 employees. There is a clique in the office of which I am not in. To the people in this clique, I am an outsider even after 5 years of working together. Thankfully there is a handful of people in this office who treat me very well, my boss is one of them.
All members of this clique belong on the social committee. They are responsible for the social gatherings. At Christmas this past year, I thought I would take the lead to get the boss a gift. In the past, someone has always stepped up. I sent around an email, asking for $20 per person and ideas as to what we could get the boss. About a week later, one of the members of the social committee sent an email telling everyone getting the boss a gift falls under the responsibility of the social committee and the social committee is in control.
One of the members of the social committee is getting married. She is 26F. I later found out she is having a bachlorette party at a resort about 2 hours away. I jokingly asked about strippers and she told me no strippers as per agreement between her and her fiance. The bachlorette party is 3 weeks before the wedding. I also found out two other coworkers are going on this bachlorette party as one is the maid of honour and the other is a bridesmaid. The maid of honour is not married and does not have a boyfriend that I know of. The bridesmaid is married with two children. The bridesmaid is the one who sent the email that the social committee is in control of getting the boss a gift at Christmas time.
As it turns out, I know two friends who are retired and retired in the same area as the resort the bachlorette party is at. I told my friends when and where the bachlorette party is and asked them to let me know if they hear any rumours about a wild bachlorette party. Both my friends smiled at me as they said they know the owner of the resort and would definitely let me know if it was wild.
I am not invited to this wedding. This does not bother me as I could not go anyways as my wife is having a minor procedure two days before this wedding. I do not know the bride other than at work and only know of the groom.
A few days after the bachlorette, I get a call from one of my friends. He was talking to the owner of the resort. My friend said there were strippers and house keeping was complaining due to the mess they had to clean up. My friend said the strippers definitely received some action as lets just say there were man stains all over the place. I of course thought my friend was joking as he likes to joke around. I could not see this bride cheating on her groom. She did not appear to be the type. My friend swore up and down he was not joking. Let’s just say I was in shock. I thanked my friend for letting me know.
I talked things over with my wife. The groom needed to know but I did not have physical proof, only hearsay. After discussing it with my wife, we decided to write an anonymous letter to the groom. We knew the groom would at least check it out and let any boyfriends and husbands know what happened. In the letter, I said everything I told him was hearsay but to find proof, he should drive to the resort and talk to people himself. Maybe someone from housekeeping would talk to him.
I do not know if the groom drove to the resort or not but the wedding was called off a few days later. The rumour mill was working overtime. I overheard people talking about it in the grocery store. Thankfully everyone is taking the grooms side. People should not cheat.
Also the bridesmaid is now getting a divorce. That will be messy since there are kids involved.
I am writing this a few years after the fact but am wondering if IATA for spilling the beans. I have a feeling even if I did not spill the beans, the maid of honour would have spilled the beans as she is now with the groom. I wonder if she set this whole thing up.

My girlfriend was incarcerated in the US state of West Virginia for child neglect resulting in death due to her ex boyfriend shaking and killing their 37 day old child last year. Her sentencing was recent and while her Lawyer and Prosecutors agreed that 6 months of jail time would have been suitable alongside 20 years of probation, the judge overlooked many facts that happend in both her ex boyfriends trial and the facts that individuals such as doctors, the lawyers, therapists and psychoanalysts gave in order to sentence her to 3-15 years of imprisonment. I can’t think of the name of an old show and don’t have enough specific information to google it
What I do remember is a high school aged boy moves to a new town in California to restart his life after his dad commits suicide. I’m pretty sure it’s one of those ones where the mom thought it would be good but he didn’t quite want to
He starts making friends with the kids that live there but they all kind of tell him different things about each other and the towns past.
There’s a girl that lives across the street from him who’s really into science. In the first episode we meet her and she has a gas mask on and is acting all ominous in her garage but then she’s revealed as an innocent nerdy girl who just does science experiments. Her previous boyfriend committed suicide but there’s other kids in the town that say she killed him.
The town is a rich “perfect” neighborhood but as the season goes along you realize that it’s far from perfect and everyone had secrets.
I first saw it on Netflix about 10-15 years ago and kind of remember the cover for the show having a pool in it

Does anyone else do week by week shared custody? I’m a mom to an almost 5 year old son. This isn’t even new, it’s been almost 2 years since we separated and decided on every Sunday for exchange. We’re great co-parents. To be honest, I think I’d want to talk more than we do (right now it’s just mostly during exchange), but even outside of just talking about our son on Sunday’s. Talk about our own lives or text here and there even if that’s just about our son.
He fluctuates with us being only about our son to sometimes more chatty where it even seems like i’m rushing out, so he’s hard to read. I know we could just have a conversation. I’m also in a serious relationship now, my boyfriend is super supportive, never jealous or anything. But still sometimes it feels weird to be, or want to be, good friends with my ex?
Will it ever get easier? My son is autistic and thrives on routine. Transitioning weekly has actually been a LOT easier than either of us imagined! He’s happy during drop off, only the odd time in the last 2 years has he wanted to stay with either one of us or was sad when we left. So I feel like any 3/4/4/3 day split would be too much for my son.
But sometimes the whole week is SO HARD. At the beginning we would have mid week visits. Just at each other’s houses whoever had him that week. But he stopped his and then after a while I stopped asking for mine too.
My son doesn’t really do FaceTime, he is non verbal so phone calls aren’t an option. I think I’ll probably just ask to do the odd mid-week visit again during my off week.

Tw: suicide running away and animals Sorry for the long post
So I have posted here before but I want to just vent. I have no one to talk to my sister gets sad and it the same thing with my dad I can't even talk to my mom. I'm sorry if some of it doesn't make sense.
So I sometimes write my goodbye letters for either suicide or running away sometimes I just want to end it sometimes I am so close to walking out my door and never coming back or make plans on how I will end my self. It's just sometimes my family is to much my mom is not ok mentally has a bunch of stuff wrong with her but dosent go to therapy she went once but she tell everything from her memory and its warped to we're she the victim and everyone else is the bad guy. My dad is just a broken record he says when my little sister turns 18 he will stand up for himself but I know that won't happen he to much of a push over.my sister is still young and has vented to me about the same thing I vent to her about and we just make plans to move a couple hours away from my family so we can be mentally healthy. I just want someone to talk to but I can't I don't have any friends here. Now onto the animals I use to love dogs and cats now everytime I see one I am scared my mom saw it, I am so disgusted by myself because even ones I see on ads I don't want to look at them. I started feeling this way after one of our cats died she lived till she was 6 and died from a heart tumor she had sense she was born. I was old enough to know what was going on so I was so distraught and sad. When we getting ready to move we found a cat that didn't get along with any of our animals so I made sure it got to a good home and my mom was so mad at me. So my mom gets new puppy and cats because she feels that "none of them connect with her". Once they get older she loses interest in them my dad sister and me are responsible for them. my mom and dad are looking into buying a house here and he promises to let her get a puppy but we already have 2 cats and a dog I love them to death but my dog was the last one we got and we didn't really want her. I just don't want one and if I try to talk to my mom she plays the victim.

So a little background this girl and I were friends we met a year ago. I was her second boyfriend, she was my first everything. At the beginning of our relationship I just wanted to be friends with her but ended up changing my mind and I drew a line in the sand and told her once I leave the area for the military her and I were going back to friends because we met at work. I work a side job while I go to school. So one thing leads to another and both of our feelings got deeper and we ended confessing our love to each other and I dropped that boundary I put up. Like she ended up wanting to follow me where ever I go in the military. On the work side of things I was trying to go for a promotion that I ended up having to sideline then a couple months later she was offered it and got it effortlessly and for a couple months I took it out on her emotionally because I was jealous. I acted selfish, unsupportive and controlling with her. Then as she rightfully she did she dumped me for it. I know now I should’ve just been happy for her but I let my jealously get in the way of that. I didn’t really have any time to reflect on this until after the break up either because of how much time we spent together and I’d tell her I was sorry but there never was any result because I didn’t reflect on it like I should’ve. So she dumped me and for a little bit we were still acting normal and it got to a point where I felt things were starting to get fixed. But at work one night I was venting to a co worker I thought I could trust even though their reputation has been to not be able to keep their mouth shut and it was a moment of weakness for me and I confided in this person because long story short the department we work in has a lot of toxic management and I was worried they were manipulating my gf but I stressed that she was strong and could handle herself but nonetheless it was a worry I had. Then when I got back from my military training that weekend she just started ghosting me even though before I left her and I were on great terms. So that untrustworthy person told her something not that it matters anymore. But I gave her over a week but it was eating away at me so I tried asking her if we could talk about it and she said no and kind of ignored me at work. So I wrote her a 3 page apology letter and stuck it in her front door. Now I have an important military ceremony coming up in the next couple of weeks and she was going to pin my rank on me and she had the pins. So I pressed her about it again she still did not wanna talk about it. I was pushier this time and she said I was making her uncomfortable and scarred which hurt even though I was just trying to figure out what was going on. So I asked her for the pins back and she said okay put them in a box with my name on it and left it on my front door then removed me from all her social media.
I know I played it wrong I was still selfish and impatient. But I really love this girl and hope it’ll work out. I guess I just have to give her more time? Can I still invite her to my ceremony as the date gets closer?

TLDR: Delos Reyes prescribed me the wrong eye grade twice. They gave me an eye grade that's much lower than my actual eye grade. They also made me believe na I have astigmatism but upon checking with a new doctor from a different clinic, wala pala akong astigmatism. Now my eyesight is much worse.
My experience may be different from other people pero hindi ko alam baka may nakaka experience rin nito. So I'm sharing this for awareness.
I've been getting new lenses at least once a year since 15 years old ako, and about last year, nagworsen masyado yung grado ng mata ko. So normally, I needed to upgrade my lenses. My mom's colleague recommended Delos Reyes kasi maganda daw service nila at "high tech" daw. So napa budol kami.
The first time na nagpa consult kami sa delos reyes was at around August 2023. Nanibago ako sa style nila sa pag check ng eye grade kasi they didn't use the usual na eye chart. Instead of using the eye chart, nasa monitor yung numbers na titignan mo. Sisimulan nila sa maliit na letters tapos pag blurred pa, iincrease nila yung grado sa lenses. Parang ganun ata yung ibig sabihin nila sa "high tech" kasi monitor yung ginagamit ng delos reyes, hindi yung eye chart.
Okay naman yung first consultation ko doon pero medyo may kamahalan nga yung overall nabayaran namin. The lenses + other eyeglass features and the frame costed us around 18k pesos total. Yun talaga yung pinaka expensive na eyeglasses na nabili mamin sa buong buhay ko. Pero as graduation gift na rin ng mom ko sa akin, hindi na siya nagreklamo.
Sabi ko sa sarili ko, "napaka worth it siguro nito kasi almost 20k yung nabayaran namin eh".
After 1 week, nakuha ko yung new eyeglasses ko. Napakaganda niya on first impression. Durable yung frame tignan. Pero upon wearing the eyeglasses, I've noticed na yung mga letters na medyo malayo ay may parang blurred edges. So as someone who has worn eyeglasses for a long time, it was unusual na medyo blurred yung letters sa malayo. Obviously, sinabi ko agad ito sa doctor para ma remedy.
First excuse nila: hindi maayos yung pagka lagay ng eyeglasses ko kaya may blurred parts akong nakikita. So pina adjust namin yung nosebridge na area sa eyeglasses para mas fitting sya sa akin. When they did that, may konting improvement naman pero it's not to the point na nawala yung blurred letters. Sinabi ko rin yun. So ang ginawa niya, pinacheck nya ulit yung eyeglasses if tama ba yung grado. Tama naman daw. Chineck nya rin ako ulit if tama ba yung grado ng mata ko. Tama rin naman daw.
So their second excuse: hindi pa daw sanay yung mata ko kasi first time ko daw ma experience yung astigmatism na lenses.
After some attempts, medyo napagod na rin ako. (I should also mention na galing pa ako na hospital a month ago due to a brain injury, pero okay naman ako when i got my eyeglasses). So ginaslight ko na lang sarili ko that time by saying na "siguro dahil lang to sa brain injury ko last month. Maybe after some time mag adjust yung eyes ko".
So we went home and i used my 18k pesos worth eyeglasses with slight disappointment. I used that eyeglasses for about 4 months. Bumalik kami sa delos Reyes last December 2023 kasi nagworsen ulit yung grado ng mata ko. It's worrisome kasi it hasn't been a year, bibili na naman ako ng eyeglass? Tapos 18k?
We went back sa delos reyes to ask if anong problema sa glasses ko. They got my eyes checked tapos sabi naman ng doctor na same lang daw yung grade ng mata ko pero may increase in astigmatism daw. I'm not an eye expert so naniwala lang ako. They told me to get new lenses immediately. I didn't want to change my eyeglasses kasi napakabago pa. I'm also not the type na ma reklamo kaya i just asked them if magkano yung babayaran if i get new lenses pero no more additional features (like UV protection), and I'll just use my frame. 7k pesos daw yung new lenses with "Eyezen" (not sure). Sabi nya need ko daw yung eyezen para hindi magworsen yung eyesight ko especially na madalas ako nagbabasa ng libro. Mahal parin pero it's not as expensive na. So yun na lang kinuha namin.
After another week, i got my new eyeglasses. I was deeply hoping na this will be the last time na I'll upgrade kasi nga napaka mahal. And i was expecting na i will not get the same experience as before. I was wrong. Pagdating sa new eyeglasses ko, nag improve ng konti yung vison ko pero may blurred edges parin akong nakikita sa mga letters sa malayo.
I expressed my concern. They told me the same thing. Yung nosebridge sa eyeglass frame ang problema. Or hindi pa sanay mata ko.
At this point ayaw ko nang tanggapin yung eyeglasses ko. Pero wala na akong magawa kasi they wouldn't process or make the eyeglasses unless we pay full. We can't make a refund narin kasi custom made na to for me eh. And i can't go home without eyeglasses kasi wala na talaga akong makikita.
So i used the eyeglasses for another 4 months.
Now, it's April 2024. I asked my mom for another eyeglasses upgrade kasi mahirap nang mag aral with blurred vision. This time we consulted a different doctor. The new doctor is not new to me. His known clients have great reviews about him and I also got my old eyeglasses from him and napaka ganda rin yung feedback ko about him. (Yes kasalanan ko yung part na i decided to try a different optical clinic. Lesson Learned.) Anyway, this new doctor used the eye chart when i got myself checked. And turns out, wala pala akong astigmatism :)
My eyegrade now is actually 450, and according to him, matagal nang nasa around 400 yung grado ng mata ko, but the previous doctor from delos reyes pinned it as astigmatism. Sabi rin ng new doctor ko na, as much as he didn't want to accuse, it seems like nabudol lang kami sa delos reyes in an unfair way.
So now I'm getting new lenses in a few days na naman.
I learned my lesson na. I will not go back sa delos reyes because of that experience. Twice is enough. Hopefully when we get enough money, I'll invest on lasik surgery kasi I know naman na my eyesight really is getting worse due to my studies na rin and stress. Again, this experience is mine. If you think may kasalanan rin ako, I admit na I should have been more firm na hindi ko tanggapin yung slightly defective yet expensive eyeglasses ng delos reyes. But at that time ayoko ng gulo kasi bawal ako ma stress kasi i was still recovering from my brain injury. I'll just take this as a lesson and sana ma aware din yung iba.

Throwaway account. I (18F) have been thinking about cutting my father (47M) out of my life. Not completely since I don’t find it feasible but as much as possible would be awesome. Looking for advice for the best way to go about it.
I do need to preface this with the following. My father, who I will be calling Randy (Marsh), has never physically hurt or assaulted me and seldom says anything negative to me. This is more of a collection of smaller things forming a bigger pile. I’m aware of how lucky I am to even have a father. Too many have been deprived of that and my heart goes out to them. I’m fortunate enough that I get to even consider this option. On the scale of bad fathers mine isn’t even competing with the horror stories I’ve heard online. Billions of people have it worse than me.
I’m casting that aside for now. Strap in as I share years of experiences and personal details to anonymous people online for validation. Here goes.

Randy and my mother divorced when I was six years old due to his drinking habits. Full custody went to my mom (there was no question) and every weekend I would stay one night at my dad’s.
At first everything was okay, I would have a blast watching all kinds of movies with him. Some of them certainly weren’t age appropriate (such as horror films or movies featuring sexual acts) but that is one of the few things I’ve never taken issue with. However his alcohol addiction kept growing in severity. He got fired, found a job, got fired again and so on. Eventually he just stopped. Stayed inside all day long. Randy was a certified alcoholic.
This did not help in the slightest when combined with his epilepsy (binge-drinking is a known cause for seizures depending on the type of epilepsy). I’ve seen many instances of him foaming from the mouth from a very young age. For example when I was 6 Randy had a seizure while standing, causing him to fall into a window which split his head open. I called my grandma, who called the hospital. That’s an extreme case, usually we would just be watching a movie until I start hearing gurgling noises from beside me.
I was around 9 years old when the situation became even worse. First came the mess. Bottles of vodka strewn about, no longer hidden. Trash absolutely everywhere. But the worst must have been the rotting food. Everything ranging from leftover pasta to cucumbers, just name it and you could find it. Not just here and there but the entire dining table was filled with decomposing biological waste for weeks on end. As most of us know, this is a spot on recipe for getting fruit flies. I swear, there were whole colonies flying about. Dictators fell, and democracies rose. Eons of history must have gone by during their stay. The living room and kitchen were their absolute favourites but more than a few stragglers would explore the bedrooms often. My “swallowed a bug while sleeping” quota must have been through the roof. I would describe the smell, but frankly I don’t have a clue. When you continuously exist inside that kind of environment at one point you just can’t smell it anymore. It becomes the norm.
Second thing was obviously coherency, which had been gone for a long time but somehow it managed to out-do itself. When Randy spoke I was unable to distinguish one word from another and he seemed to not understand what was happening at all times. He was unable to focus on anything. Holding up a conversation was an impossible task.
The third thing was control over his limbs. The last time we ever went out together was when I was 10. He took me to the cinema to watch Deadpool. On the way there he seemed to be okay but as soon as we exited the movie theatre he seemed to have lost his mobility (I wonder why /s). I ended up having to support him on our way to the bus stop. After getting off at our stop he ended up calling a cab to take us the rest of the way home.
This trend continued until he was unable to walk and do basic tasks. No, you didn’t read that wrong. He cannot walk. Not only does he not have enough strength in his legs Randy also lacks any kind of balance. To get around the apartment he uses an old office chair. Each time it’s a struggle for him to get from one chair to the other, or from the bed to the chair. On top of that almost all other negative effects of long term alcohol abuse apply.
It’s a worthy mention that around this time he never went out of his way to feed me. Just kept the snack cabinets full. I can only recount one instance of going hungry. But it is also important to consider that two bags of chips and a pack of gummy worms don’t make the healthiest meal.
For those wondering how he can still live this kind of lifestyle without being in crippling debt the answer is he filed for invalid support and got approved. It is also incredibly important to note that he hasn’t been paying child support for YEARS. At least 2016 onwards.
Frequent injuries also became the norm. I would rarely be present in these moments, only see the aftermath. Broken legs, arms, hips, all kinds of stuff. I have a lot of fun memories with this. I’ll bring up one from when I was 12. The second I stepped in through the front door Randy tells me to come inspect his wound. He was bleeding profusely from a deep cut in his head. I told him it was too deep to close by itself and he needed stitches to which he reluctantly called the hospital.
If I’m already putting him on blast let me shame him while I’m at it. Post anonymously yourself and you’d be surprised by what details you’ll reveal. Randy no longer goes to the bathroom to piss. Turns out piss bottles aren’t just for insane gamers. I’ve had the pleasure of emptying them in the toilet a couple of times along with the spit jars. No poop socks yet but the future is bleak. Most alarming is that when he is extremely drunk (not a rare occurrence) he would pull his pants down with me in the same room to urinate. Truly redefining the saying: “piss drunk.” Thankfully it’s been too dark for me to really see anything and I make a quick exit when I realise.
At this point you’ve heard more about his condition and health but what about the man himself? Well… it isn’t pretty there either.
He lives in a vacuum of sorts since he doesn’t go outside at all. This means he is completely and utterly self-absorbed. Things have to be his way. When I don’t want to watch the same movie for a fourth time with him he tells me I’m whining. He disregards me saying I’m not hungry. Then gets mad when I don’t eat what he made.
Here’s a story that reflects that. I had fallen asleep at 1AM only to get woken up at 3AM to rock music blasting from the TV speakers. I get up to see what the hell is going on only for him to turn the volume down once I enter. He pulled up a movie on told me to sit down. I chewed him out and went back to my room. In the morning he didn’t seem to think he did anything wrong but hasn’t repeated it. However Randy still does it when I’m not awake by 10AM regardless.
Randy is also racist. There is no getting around it. Sometimes when he orders food or groceries he says: “I hope they don’t send a N##### again.” Every single time a delivery man is of a darker skin tone he acts polite, then when the door is closed proceeds to tell me of hypothetical situations where he tells them to go back to Africa. One evening when we had just watched Tenet (great movie) and when I picked out a Will Smith movie as the next one he said: “We can’t watch two N###### in a row. One is enough.”
My dear old dad is homophobic which is very ironic. He toned down those types of comments once I notified him that his sole child is of the rainbow kind. It didn’t come up often since unfortunately there isn’t a lot of gay media on cable networks.
He doesn’t have the best perception of the female population either. Obviously that is also toned down around me but there are worrying comments. Not misogynistic, thankfully, just attributes false stereotypical traits to any woman that breathes. At times belittling achievements or accomplishments. Never to me. “Oh,” he begins, “but not you! You’re not like them!”
Randy gets jealous of any new boyfriend my mother has. Calls them names and demeans them. Also straight up insults my mom at times. We were speaking of vacation photos my mother posted online and he brought up how her skin sags and how she should exercise more. Incredibly hypocritical as you can tell.
However most heartbreaking of all is how he treats his own mother. She is one of the kindest people I know and is the reason why his apartment stopped being a dump full of fruit flies. While living in another town she makes frequent visits to come take care of her son. From cleaning his apartment to visiting him in the hospital. Their conversations are nothing short of horrific any time I’m there to witness. Randy curses her out, calls her stupid, constantly insults her, calls her a fat cow for eating too much (she eats a normal amount not that it matter since you shouldn’t call anyone that regardless), is disrespectful and utterly ungrateful. I stand up for her whenever I can but he likes to chase her out whenever I’m due to visit. One can only imagine how it is like when they’re alone. Randy badmouths her behind her back a lot. Only to me since there is no one else in his life.
It is honestly because of Randy’s mom that this post even exists. If it wasn’t for her I would not have any hang-ups. She is the one fighting for him, telling me I’m the one good thing in his life and he’d fall apart without me. Randy hasn’t been my father for a long time. But for my grandmother Randy will always be her child.

Now that you know my life story, what is your advice? Obviously I don’t want to stress out my grandmother any more than she already is. I also don’t have the same kind of love and care for Randy. Alcoholism is a serious and debilitating addiction but he is also an adult. My sympathy has whittled down into nothing over time. I don’t want to keep having to spend time with such an unsavoury individual. Fine, maybe that’s a little harsh. Of course there are good sides to him, but I’m so tired of digging for it when all he does is bury it further.
If nothing comes out of this that is also fine. Ranting about this has been of help to me already.
TL;DR Father has been an alcoholic for most of my life. He is self-absorbed, racist and homophobic. Worst of all verbally abusive towards his own mother. I already don’t see him as a dad. How do I distance myself?

So, i feel like i’m being treated as if my gender identity is not important.. i got angry numerous times over not having bottom surgery and got told i “need counseling” by some people i thought would help with my transition… i’m happy and grateful i have friends and family who all treat me like a girl, because that makes me love myself and my life! 😃 but i feel like just because i was upset over surgery for these passed years since 2018, and felt left out because other transwomen got surgery before me and they’re happier and their lives improved, and it’s like some people are thinking i’m not mentally fit for surgery yet my therapist said i am mentally fit for surgery and i had all of the symptoms of gender dysphoria since i was a kid at 11 years old… i sometimes get a horrible feeling like some people don’t want me to get bottom surgery for fetishized reasons and it makes me want to literally puke. 🤢 some religious people even try to convert me saying “go to jesus” or they’ll “pray for me”, which really means they want me to be gay male or straight male instead of being a transwoman attracted to guys! i don’t want anything to do with religion because they ruined my life and it’s like they’re trying to get me back to them..🤮 i don’t know if i can keep on dealing with some of these things… i wanted people to see i’m a awesome lady who’s talented in music and i resemble Lucky from 101 Dalmatians and Loona from Helluva Boss.. I, a 28 year old women, have falling in love with my physiotherapist, a 35 year old man.
I've been going to physical therapy for like 2 fucking years now for a variety of issues. Back pain, hamstring pain, knee pain, and now my nerve damage in my left arm. A brachial plexus injury to be specific.
I saw a multitude of PTs at my time there, but my current guy is the one I have seen the most at least for my nerve damage in my arm.
He'd get pretty physical with me and uhh... I liked it. He'd massage parts of my chest, cup them, and other things to help my left arm stop being so god damn nervey.
He and I would chat a lot and found out we have a lot in common. Like, holy shit a lot. I tend to just say shit with no filter.
At one point, I admitted that I liked it when he touched me. Being as I am a god damn femcel who never had a boyfriend, no one's ever really been physical with me. He then admitted he would ask the clerk at the PT place to change my appointments so I'd see him rather than the other PTs because he liked me.
I was shocked. I thought it was all coincidence. In my entire time, no one has ever liked me that much. My parents hated me, I never had friends in school, in my 8 years in the Army I could be friendly with people but failed to make friends, and in my time out I spent 2 fucking years just drinking in my room and watching anime.
No one liked me or wanted me. To know he just wanted to see me was... I dunno. Weird? Nice? Good? Pleasant. I never thought someone would just want to see me because my whole life was just being alone. Part of it was my fault for being avoidant and asocial, but still.
He said he is hesitant to do shit with me as a doctopatient relationship is weird. I dunno, I kinda find it makes it better as it's taboo and shit. But also like, I just want someone to want me and he kind of does. I offered him to come over to my ghetto ass apartment to cuddle and watch The Boys with me, but I dunno if he will.
Even if he doesn't and reject me, I guess I am still happy. Someone wanted me. Not just that, but on the more PT side, my grip strength in my left hand went from fucking 10 pounds to fucking 92 pounds and my ring and pinkie finger aren't numb anymore. Plus, my left hand doesn't randomly get cold anymore, so that's nice.
But yeah, I'm a disgusting, stinky, brain damaged, loser femcel who fell the fuck in love with her doctor. I dunno.

I apologize for the rant but for a little background, so my mother and I don't get along as I've never liked her boyfriend and neither does the family. He's an alcoholic who drinks every weekend and never helped during her third pregnancy. On the contrary I'm the one who sacrificed my time and education to constantly help during her pregnancy and after such as babysitting my sibling while I worked from home and had class at home during COVID. Continued to bottle feed them and eventually take and pickup from the daycare, bath her, feed them, getting them ready etc. and he never but of course she forgave him and continues to let him drink. He's a man who will leave feces stain on the toilet, liquor spilled all over there room, will cry and scream though out the night keeping everyone up. He does the bare minimum and she will glorify his action.
Back to present, she always taken control of my life since I was younger. Never letting me go out with friends and always demanding where and what I'm doing, its only excusable if Im doing something related to school and have proof. So as you can imagine to this day I've never drank or done drugs, if anything I've been a good student in school obtaining honors etc. Not doing this for praise but because as the first generation student I want to now show my siblings that education matters and be the good role model I never had in my life.
So when my mother demanded my tax forms of course I gave it to her, who am I to withhold it from her she already has my passport and ssn which I can't keep because she's never let me keep them. But then when she told me she was submitting her paper to submit to obtain a green card and work permit of course I helped her, I'm the only one who can drive in this family and of course I was her translator. But during a phone call with her lawyer she switched up so fast and was telling lies and manipulating certain scenarios to her benefit such as:
My "daughter" never helps around the house to clean I will admit I don't clean anymore because I've stopped cleaning the house after she would make me clean up after her boyfriends disgusting habits. Feces off the floor was my limit, thats a grown 43 year old man and I am not a housewife.
My "daughter" never cooks I'm not allowed to cook, last time I bought five ingredients to try a dish for me and my siblings she went hysteric. Rambling that who do I think I am to make food for myself, do I not like the food she makes. Then to start making my own meals from now on and never eat her food.
My "daughter" doesn't go out I was never allowed out as a teen, I always had to be home before 5pm. So I'm not an extrovert Im an introvert now and at 21 years old I'm never out later than 10, and my close friends and I have difficulty scheduling time to hangout so Im not out every week. Honestly how my friends and I can manage to be friends I don't know but I'm thankful they are understanding and supportive towards me.
My "daughter" is mentally insane she's had therapy When I was younger she and my old man always had very verbal and physical fights in front of me and their divorce did traumatize me at 6 years old. She threw me in therapy soon after actually only due to believing I had Anorexia nervosa. The reason I was underweight was actually due to having a fast metabolism which my doctor always repeated to her during every visit.
My "daughter" never approved of my relationship with my husband I have my many reasons.
You get the gist of my relationship with her, and as the call ended she just turned to be as I just stared at her and just kept telling me that of course it's all true. As I did my research towards the documents she told me not to read with the firm she worked with called Meneses Law, I realized it was a VAWA application and my only concern after reading is that if she gets her green card and work permit then there's a chance that it could end up on my permanent record on my end and it could affect my chances in the future when I apply for work. I care about my future and I don't want her lies to affect my life. If anyone can help me with what I can do I would appreciate it and if you've reached this far once again thank you for listening.

I'm married now for a second time but my first wedding was a nightmare. Let me preface this by saying my family is not rich. Not poor either, but not rich. My ex husband's family was rich.
Planning this wedding, I went by the book. Me and my family would pay for most of it since I was the bride and my ex husband (let's call him J) and his family would pay for the rehearsal dinner and the alcohol at the reception. That's traditional.
The Rehearsal Dinner
I had very little say on the rehearsal since J's family was taking care of it. I gave suggestions for places to hold the rehearsal but they refused, wanting to save as much money as possible.
His family had a thing for throwing family functions in their garages. Baby showers, bridal showers, birthdays, graduation parties, etc. I thought it was a little strange but they were paying for it so I let it go. I was determined not to be a Bridezilla.
The problem was, the wedding was in October in Wisconsin. It was freezing. They said they'd make sure to have plenty of space heaters so it was OK. I was leary.
The day of the rehearsal, my family arrived at their large, beautiful home and entered the garage. I only had a few local family members and a few from out of state. They did have space heaters but it was still freezing. Decorations looked thrown together and cheap. I was not happy but I tried to hold it together. I sat down at one of the tables and began to socialize.
After a while, I realized I hadn't seen my in laws or any of their family in a while. It was just my family in their winter jackets.
I went into the house where my jaw dropped. His entire family were milling around, drinking and eating, having a merry old time.
My father in law told me to grab some food and go back to the garage, reminding me that "the party is out there"
Seeing red, I told my mom who decided she wasn't going to be in the garage anymore if his family was allowed in the house. His family turned their noses up at her but she held her head high and remained in the living room with her plate along with everyone else. My father in law tried to get her to return to the garage but she pretended not to hear him. The rest of my family either followed her or felt too uncomfortable and didn't want to cause a stir.
The Wedding
I had booked the wedding at a historical park and hired a horse and carriage to take my wedding party around the park after the wedding. The wedding itself was lovely but it all fell apart right after.
After the wedding and tons of pictures, I get to the horse and carriage to find my in laws all packed inside. A video taken would later prove I tried to tell them that the carriage was for the wedding party to which they said they WERE the wedding party. My father in law had indeed gone against the tux we'd ordered for him and gotten one to match the groomsmen. I was not happy and tried to explain that I meant it was for my bridesmaids and the groomsmen. They told me they'd all left as I was pushed into the carriage.
Meanwhile, my bridesmaids were still in the church waiting to get into the carriage, hiding from the cold.
We finished the ride which was far less enjoyable than expected. I was supposed to be relaxing with my friends. Not packed in closely with my in laws, all of whom looked down on me. But again. I was determined not to let anything bother me. That would later be impossible.
The Reception
My aunt had been dating a man for years and he had MS which effected his eyes. It sometimes required him to wear an eye patch to fix double vision. My husband's side made fun of him (not quite) behind his back all night, commenting on my pirate family members. It was my aunt and her pirate boyfriend who ended up saving one aspect of the night.
There were three tables in front of the main table where the bridal party sat. My aunt and her boyfriend sat at one of them as guests entered the reception hall. My new sister in law tried to kick them off the table saying that it was reserved for the grooms family, the brides family was designated in the back. Not true . My aunt refused to move, If she had left, they would have taken all of the front tables.
It wasn't all the grooms family that ruined things for me though. My grandmother called out that she wanted family pictures taken and wrangled my side of the family to a corner with the photographer. When my husband and I reached them however, she yelled that she meant only the real family.
Ok, so I was adopted and she never accepted me as really being part of the family. She was awful to me my whole life, but this was my wedding. I thought she could be nice for one day.
My grandmother kept the photographer busy for a while, getting pictures of "the real family" which didn't include me or my husband for some reason. I eventually told the photographer I'd meant to warn her about my grandmother and she apologized. I said it was alright, my fault. Before you ask, no, I didn't give my good old granny any of those pictures but that's another story. (I got my petty revenge later)
Back to my in laws None of his family talked to me that day. It was like a weird middle school dance where the boys were on one side of the room and girls were on the other, only in this case it was his family vs mine.
At the end of the night, I let the reception facility know what to do with the leftover food before heading to our hotel. My parents were to bring it all home as they had tons of out of state guests to feed not to mention they'd paid for half, I paid the other. This included the cake.
The next morning, my husband and I drove to my parents house to spend time with my family, most of whom would be flying out within the next day or two. When it came time for lunch, my mom asked where the leftovers were. She had been told it had been picked up already. My husband called his dad who informed us he'd taken it all and shared it amongst their family. I hadn't even been able to try the cake. My mother was over angry at this point. She hadn't wanted to waste time cooking when her family was there since we rarely got to see them.
She and I quickly whipped something up but we were still mad. His family had taken hundreds of dollars of food they hadn't paid a dime for. The rehearsal dinner clearly hasn't cost much and the alcohol bill had come up to about $200, it was part of the food package.
In the end, we were married less than a year. The wedding was the inciting incident and it only got worse from there. After the wedding, his parents insisted I drive him everywhere even though he had his own car because "he's just a young boy" (he was 28, a few years older than me). When he lost his job, they talked him into not getting another job because I could just support him now. That way, he could spend his days bowling which is what he really wanted to do anyways. His parents ruled over our marriage until I couldn't handle it anymore.
I'm remarried now. I think I can be forgiven for just having a quick ceremony with a justice of the peace.

Last year my youngest son was graduating from high school, a huge deal for him as he struggled so hard to graduate (hes mildly dislexic making it hard with most his school work) but he did it and my husband and I were beyond proud. I sent out graduation invites but for some reason hers was running late, no fault of anyone but our horrible mail her in South Texas. Going back a bit my mom has always been a habitual liar and manipulative to the point where her behavior almost drove my husband and I to divorce as I (being a good daughter) would defend her and allowed my kids around her. In fact my oldest son Andrew decided to live with her at age 16 as he wanted to be there for her while my dad was working out of town. During this time (and i was never informed this until later) he had met a 23 year old man online that became his boyfriend. Although we have always accepted his sexual preference my youngest son Aidan was still very uncomfortable with hearing about his brothers sexuality being only 16/17. This was a hard time as my boys were always super close until this. Anyway back to graduation, unbeknownst to me my mother allowed this now 25 year old man (sons boyfriend) to move into my families home. When I had talked to my oldest Andrew that his baby brother wanted it just to be family at his graduation, he initially agreed to leave his boyfriend at home. My mom then called me saying that this man who i had never met will be going or they werent. I told her "this is an agreement Andrew and I agreed on and it is Aiidans graduation and he can include or exclude anyone he wanted. She then proceeded to say she was not going and neither was my dad, sister, or my oldest if this person could not come. She then went on saying I never wanted Aidan and I had told her when I was pregnant that I wanted to abort him(this conversation NEVER happened I would never had even thought of terminating my pregnancy) to add to the insult she said I was a whore and was still, her words "screwing my ex while fucking my husand" the was just the worst ick and ew moment. I told her if she couldnt abide by our wishes for her grandson then shes not welcome to nit come. She pushed my oldest to call me back too tell me he didnt want anything to do with me and that his boyfriend was more family than me. By the wayanother side note when he came out I was supportive and my mom would call him oppressive names related to his sexuality including the "f" word and "butt-f***r" and a little bich. Needless to say they didnt go to see this huge accomplishment instead she blocked my number from her phone, my sons phone and my dads phone(wuthout them.knowing) This killed me adi was super close to my dad he was my best friend and I called him everyday until i was blocked. She had manipulated my whole side of my family against me and my youngest and I was not invited to any of our regular family events like the family summer vacation and christmas party at my Aunts house. It has been a year that we have been low to no contact. Am I the asshole for cutting this toxity out of our lifes. Side note I have encouraged Aidan to reach out and reconnect with his brother (Andrew) as me and Andrew have made up after he apologized. Now my family is having health issues (mom may have cancer) that I only learned about as my dad was out of town and felt safe to call and let me know. I honestly was very apathetic internally as I have really built a wall after therapy made me really she is a narssasist who.used mental mind games with me all my life. I did call to check in on her and although she tried once more to manipulate me into making Aidan answer her texts. I told her hes an adult now and I do not control his phone hes 18 now and pays the bill himself, hes really still hurt by her choosing a stranger over him. Any advise as to if I am wrong for keeping her at arms link for my marriage, mental health and protection of my youngest?

So my husband only has one credit card, but it is 5 years old. His credit is on the lower side of good 680. He had a large purchase on his current card recently so that is why there was a drop to 680, but has already drastically paid it off. We were wanting to get him another card to build his credit more. However, when he applied online for the Disney chase visa it said that they need to review his application more. He didn’t get an instant approval, he was told they would mail him a letter with their decision and card in 7 to 10 business days if he is approved.
I have never had this happen when applying for a credit card myself. I am always automatically approved. Is he likely getting denied?
