Today on the proving grounds of the capital testing ground the generals and politicians were the first to witness the trials of a new type of armored vehicle, the landship.
All were in awe as the metal goliath plowed over any obstacle in its path and even went through several buildings in its path. Its main 12 inch cannon can destroy any threat in front of it, from bunkers to enemy heavy tanks. Its secondary armament consists of 4 x 90mm AT Guns, 4 x 75mm Cannons, 24 x 20mm Autocannons (4 x quadruple mounts on the turret and 4 x double mounts on the hull) for anti-air and anti-infantry support alongside co-axial machine guns.
Despite its large size and weight (1200 tons standard) the vehicle is able to travel at a maximum speed of 35km/h, while bridges are a serious constraint its large height allows for the fording of rivers with only a slight delay for the equipping of funnels for the engine.

With such a large impression on the general staff the government has already made plans for a small fleet to be ordered next year and for the designers to work out any flaws, design problems and manufacturing constraints before that time.

It's become a running joke between my current therapist and me that I might have chosen the wrong profession – she insists I'd make an incredible therapist, for whatever that's worth.
In many of my conversations, things tend to get deep, maybe deeper than most people anticipate. I genuinely enjoy connecting with others. We're all a little broken, aren't we? I like metaphorically rolling up my sleeves and delving into your mind. It's something that truly fascinates me.
So, why not call it what it is? This is my version of bootleg therapy – a chance to get to know you. I practice active listening, but let's be clear, this is all in good fun. I'd always encourage seeking professional therapy if needed.
Just to clarify, I'm not here to "fix" you. I am, however, genuinely interested in understanding you. Maybe, through our conversations, you'll get to understand yourself a bit better too. So we own a 4/2/2 in FL built in 2021. We have it listed for $445k but the market is slow, and we have received one offer for almost $20k under asking. I spoke with our lender today and he said we could do a HELOC to get the cash we need to move (we are moving to the North East to be closer to family and plan on renting until we find a desired location) if we did that we would rent out the property for approximately $3k a month. Our mortgage (escrowed tax and insurance) comes out to $2616 a month. HELOC would be around $250 a month and we could keep the property, but I’m not sure if this is a good move. Selling the house we will only profit about $33k cash after closing cost. First mortgage balance is $352k.

I posted this to csmajors recently and only now have enough comment karma to post here, and thought I could get some opinions on this here. Previous post
I just got a PIP (performance improvement plan) from my manager recently, slightly over 1 YOE. It was completely unexpected based on PR in January and recent one on ones. The letter my manager wrote was extremely harshly worded and slightly unfair in my opinion.
When they went over it with me their attitude was not in any way adversarial, maybe even having a light and encouraging tone, yet the letter that was typed out could not be more strongly worded and accusatory.
Looking back on my PR and very recent meeting notes, there were no indications of any performance issues, and I met or exceeded expectations on PR. The issues mentioned in the letter were addressing work I completed a few months ago were very specific and were not brought up at any point before the PIP.
From an objective perspective, I could see how my performance could improve on past projects, however my manager did not express any concerns to me, even told me I did a good job. I feel blindsided and would very much like to switch companies. I have been applying for the past few months with no offer though.
How should I proceed in this case? Speaking to my manager in person, they seem more or less lighthearted about the PIP, and the tasks seem achievable, but I can't get over the wording of the letter.
I'm also trying to understand why this would happen, I cant tell if my manager was pressured to do this or what is going on at this company. I can't tell if they want to layoff or if they actually want me to improve. It's at a non-tech company and the duration a month. Thanks

Ukraine has pulled back its troops from several villages in the border region of Kharkiv following continued pressure from Russian forces.
Soldiers had come under heavy fire and moved to "more advantageous positions" in two areas of the north-eastern region, a military spokesman said.
Throughout the course of the two-year war, Ukraine has typically used this type of language to signify a retreat.
President Volodymyr Zelensky has cancelled all upcoming foreign trips as troops struggle to contain the new cross-border incursion, with several towns and villages coming under heavy fire.
His press secretary, Sergiy Nykyforov, said the president had "instructed that all international events scheduled for the coming days be postponed and new dates coordinated".
Moscow has claimed its forces have now taken control of two more settlements in the region - Lukyantski and Hlyboke - and the village of Robotyne, in the southern Zaporizhzhia region.
But Ukraine says its military still controls most of Roboytne, news website Ukrayinska Pravda reports, citing a spokesman for an army brigade fighting there.
"They [Russian troops] are actually only on the outskirts," Serhiy Skibchyk told the website.
"Inside the village, there are still our positions."
Robotyne was one of only a handful of settlements Kyiv retook in its summer counter-offensive last year.
A spokesman for the Ukrainian military said the decision to move troops from the Lukyantsi and Vovchansk areas was taken to "preserve the lives of our servicemen and avoid losses".
The capture of Vovchansk, though not of specific militarily significance, would represent a blow to Ukrainian morale.
The military spokesman said that the situation "remains difficult" but insisted that its forces were "not allowing the Russian occupiers to gain a foothold".
In a statement on Wednesday at 13:30 local time (11:30 BST/ 10:30 GMT), the military said there had been three clashes in the Kharkiv region, and Russian forces were attacking in the direction of Lyptsi, roughly midway between Kharkiv city and the Russian border.
The statement added two strikes hit the villages of Lyptsi and Mala Danylivka - while Ukrainian forces "repelled" an offensive in Vovchansk.
Ukraine's head of intelligence, Kyrylo Budanov, had earlier said troops had stabilised the front line.

Thousands of civilians have fled west in recent days towards Ukraine's second-largest city of Kharkiv - including from the town of Vovchansk, located 74km (45 miles) away.
Oleksiy Kharkivskiy, Vovchansk's police chief, said on social media that fighting was intense and Russian forces were establishing positions inside the town.
"The situation is extremely difficult. The enemy is taking positions on the streets of the town of Vovchansk," he said.
Kyiv has sent reinforcements to the wider Kharkiv region following Friday's incursion - seen as one of Russia's most significant ground attacks since it launched its full-scale invasion of the country in February 2022.
"Additional forces are being deployed, and there are reserves," President Zelensky's office said on Wednesday.
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken announced an additional $2bn in military aid to the Ukrainian war effort while on a visit to Kyiv.
Mr Blinken told reporters on Wednesday the fund would provide weapons "today" and invest in Ukraine's industrial base.
"We're rushing ammunition, armoured vehicles, missiles, air defences to get them to the front lines," Mr Blinken said.
"We've been through challenging times together, I have every confidence that together we will get through these difficult moments."
It comes weeks after US Congress passed a $61bn aid package last month.
Away from Kharkiv, Russia said earlier it had temporarily closed two major airports in the south-western region of Kazan after targeted Ukrainian drone attacks. Ukraine has not commented on the strike.
Russia's Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova also said on Wednesday that Ukrainian attacks in Russia's Belgorod border region were a demonstration of the "criminality" of Kyiv and the Western powers which back it.
Unlike with Ukrainian territory which Russia occupies, Kyiv has reluctantly agreed with western allies to not use the missiles it provides on targets inside Russia itself.

The vet said that she has a kidney stone. She has both kidneys, but one of them are smaller than the other. We're waiting on the blood work, we'll find out tomorrow. The vet said that if her kidney levels are high, then she's going to start treatment and we might need to get an ultrasound done. The past 36 hrs, she didn't eat was being reclusive. The vet gave her an appetite stimulant and gave us some to administer ourselves the next 2 days. As I was typing this, she started eating again and purring which made me really happy. I know we're not out of the woods yet. Has anyone been in a similar situation? She also does have a small mass in her ear, but the vet said that it looks good and hasn't changed since the last time she saw it (3 weeks ago). We're planning on getting it removed, but this kidney thing may be a more pressing issue. Can cats over eat after not for a while?

Long story short, I go from paying $74 a pay check to either getting a $68 HSA insurance plan, or $125 1200PPO plan.
Can someone explain why this would happen and what the smart thing to do is? I’m healthy, never go to the Dr, active, only really use my insurance for a therapist which would be about $80 vs the $35 on my current plan

While one might argue that his role as a vessel to Sukuna, victory over curses and his involvement in taking down Sukuna has been major enough, we have to realize that it is Kenjaku stating his own expectations out of Yuji, a death painting he went through a great deal of trouble (like taking backshots from Jin) just to biologically engineer as the perfect creation that he seems to be generally satisfied with. The goal of Kenjaku throughout the story has been his obsession with the merger, and how it would affect the world as we know it. It is for this reason that he'd culminated the Culling Game for hundreds of years, entering binding vows with sorcerers that have existed throughout the centuries. It is also for this reason that Kenjaku has put himself in danger willingly, without a well structured plan, for the first time in the entire story, going after Tengen all on his own. We are also aware that Kenjaku has given Bumgumi and Sukuna the authorization the start the merger at any time, which will mark the end of the Culling Game. So, here's my theory on how the rest of the story will unravel: Sukuna is worn down by Yuji, who keeps repeatedly striking at the edge of Megumi and Sukuna's souls. Sukuna, through these punches, is eventually ripped out of what once was Megumi's body, and returns to his original vessel which is Yuji. As Megumi is left lying on the ground like the vegetative bum he is, Sukuna acts the sore loser and activates the merger to murder women, children, all and everybody like he said he would at the beginning of the story. Through the activation of the merger, Yuji (who was intricately bio-engineered by Kenjaku), Sukuna (who is now trapped in his vessel once more), Tengen (who was consumed by Sukuna as "Kenjaku's Insurance") and those slain during the Culling Game merge together to form the Merger Curse, set to bring doom to the world. Yuji and Sukuna end up in Sukuna's innate domain which is being circled by the souls of those slain, taunting and begging Yuji. Yuji, who is apart of the Merger Curse, is completely cognizant to what he has become and what he is going to do. Sukuna aswell is cognizant, and taunts Yuji about what is to come. A brawl between Yuji and Sukuna ensues in the innate domain, as the sorcerers who were wounded in battle return to the front to witness the Merger Curse which stands menacingly in Founder Titan-like fashion as the battle for control is ensuing within the innate domain. Sukuna eventually gains the upper hand during this brawl, and the Merger Curse starts its fight with the fully mobilized sorcerer force. The sorcerers manage to damage the Merger Curse as the tug-of-war within the innate domain continues, though not quite enough to take it down. Things start looking grim for the sorcerers, as it seems impossible for them to take this creature down. This is when a disturbing figure enters the area, giving everyone the chills with their cursed energy. It's crazy because I've always typed as INTP, sometimes ENTP, which are opposite cog functions. However, we all know those quizzes are seldom correct. I'm thinking that perhaps because I "stand firmly by my values", that I can come across as a debater? I do value critical thinking, logic, and common sense altogether.. I'm able to change my mind or incorporate it into my own belief system if it makes sense or there's merit (even if I don't 100% agree or my feelings havent caught up with my head yet). Socially, I'm reserved and more of an introverted observer and prefer 1:1 conversations or smaller groups. It takes a while for me to be open and vulnerable, I do assume people can read my thoughts/feelings sometimes lol I get annoyed when I gotta explain my thought/feeling process and because it's long and complex, I just dont wanna deal and tbh, those who get it, get it and those who dont, whatever. That OR I barely understand it myself, let alone put it into words. But sometimes I can be almost too honest and straightforward with people, even ones I'm not close to - I guess I just wanna level with them and cut the crap. I'm kind of a "matter-of-fact" person, will stand up to authority (even if I'm nervous in the moment lol), and don't care much for "Social Appropriateness" (like I will leave a party without saying Bye, don't offer to clean up after dinner at someone's house, or I'll be the only person in the group who decides not to partake in whatever activity, peer pressure who? etc). Don't get me wrong, most of the time I'm pretty chill, thoughtful, and enjoy being with others but I also don't always let that dictate my decisions. When it comes to decisions, I gather as much information on as many options as possible and then I deduce. I enjoy being creative with design but this is where my decision making can struggle and I can get overwhelmed by all the options and decisions - I start many projects but dont finish and feel the need to ask for help to execute. I like hosting parties so I can plan themes, buy/make cute decor, activities, and general presentation. I'm a creature of comfort..generally lazy, messy, like cozy things and prefer anything convenient. I am very bare minimum when it comes to work or responsibilities. I hate chores and dont do them but I can be routine (same bfast, go to computer, tv on couch, word games on bed most days), although dont always stick to the ones I want (like skincare or something "useful"). I like learning about ancient history and science (especially natural and social science). I like anything fantasy like tv shows, anime, video games, movies or books.
Anyway, any thoughts or feedback? Do any INFPs resonate or should I be looking at another type. Maybe there's something specific I'm overlooking.

I’m 24 (M) 25 in October… and I’m a bit behind in life. I still live at home… Rent free… And I’m blessed at my grandparents let me live here rent free and I’m very thankful for that… however the only reason they let me do that is because they know I can’t afford it like that… I would rather be financially able to be independent. I should’ve had my own crib by now… I also don’t have a car and I should’ve had that by now…
I’m also inexperienced in dating… never made it out of the talking stage with a woman… I’ve never been on a date… I’ve never been kissed… I’m a virgin… just overall really inexperienced. I often get rejected by the types of women I desire of my preferred standards both online in person… I don’t have game. Half of the time I don’t even get followed back on Instagram.
Also I unfortunately had to quit my job today yet again… because of some false accusations they were accusing me of so I wasn’t having it and in the heat of the moment… I quit on them.
So I’m on the search for a new job… hopefully, I’ll get one soon… I want to career and graphic design, but there’s not a lot to offer for that in my small town… I plan to relocate to a new city and start over… but right now I have no car… and I’m currently saving for one. I’m looking for a decent used car with working AC and good for road travel. I’m gonna have to save at least 10K for the car… I was originally planning on under 5K… but car prices (even for used cars) are going up like crazy… then I need to save at least 15K to relocate to a new city. You need 3X your monthly rent and the cost of a U-Haul. It’s expensive… plus I need to have a job/ career lined up in my new city… preferably a graphic design job. (I’m not going back to school… I believe it’s very doable without a degree and know plenty that landed a career in that field without it)…
Also I send way too much time… WAY TOO MUCH TIME sitting in my bedroom… there’s just not a lot to do in my small town… and I don’t have a car to drive to other big cities and do things. Also a lot of my friends are either always hanging out with people I don’t get along with, or busy with their own things. I have friends but again… a lot of them either busy or live outside of here. I spend far more time in my bedroom than I’d ever care to admit… my life is WAY TOO SHELTERED.
But yeah, I’m really tired of being here in life right now… I have friends younger than me that are married and have kids…. One of my friends (he’s 22) just graduated from university and he’s about to play professional basketball,…. This one girl that I use to be cool with a few years back (she’s 23) also just graduated university as well and is about to get an amazing career… (proud of her)… and one of my childhood friends (my age, 24) just had a daughter… he graduated from university back in 2021 and he bought his own house like 2 years ago now. I also have friends that own their own clothing lines and businesses and own their own custom shoe business, etc.
Don’t get me wrong I’m very happy for them… I’m not bitter… I’m proud of them… they earned it and they worked for it… but it makes me look at my own situation like I’m a fool… I know they say don’t compare yourself to others that comparison is the thief of joy or whatever… the truth be told… that’s all I can do… I remember 2018/2019 when I was on the same level as them… and back then I thought I’d accomplish a bit more than what have… fast forward.. and I’ve only accomplished a little bit… I’m like 2-3 steps ahead of where I was back in 2018-2019… and they’re like 2-3 whole entire flights of stairs above where they were…
Also not just in terms of their career… but really in terms of grown as a whole… they’ve grown in terms of confidence,… their social skills have improved quite a bit… knowledge,… They’ve been able to travel a lot more… they’ve really grown a lot as people and I’m so proud of them… like I said back in 2018-2019 I was on the same level as them (and many other of my friends… or maybe even back then I was a few steps below)… they’ve gotten probably.. 70% better in terms of grown… I’ve only gotten like 10% better! I have so much to work on in terms of confidence,… public speaking,… social skills,.. fitness, etc.
I’m not looking for validation… please be honest with me… is it pathetic that I’m here right now?…. What’s the fastest way I can work my way out of this and fix all these things?

Because a few ladies aren't able to go too far out of the area, the parameters are Cambria / Paso to Santa Barbara. A few (1, possibly 2) may need to leave and come back home to SLO the same day. Ideally, the hang would be in SLO County, but anywhere between these towns are great :)
Unfortunately, since most of us live here, we aren't excited by the typical central coast bach activities ( namely wine tasting or alcohol-based plans). Dinner plans are easy; I have that covered (but always open to recs).
A few examples that come to mind are: DIY workshops or some type of learning workshop, Airbnb or cool Hipcamp with a pool/ hot tub, unique lesser-known hikes, farm visit/baby animal visit haha. We're open to someone visiting our home base (think tarot card reader; not $tripper).
The crew is late 20's early 30's. The bride-to-be loves nature, natural things, handmade crafting, traditional girly things, dancing, and adventurous day trips!

Hey xxx, I really tried my best to be friends with you and understand where your coming from but now I have to let you know that I cant believe you are causing so much disruption in my family. You are married in... your not even someone we have to love or get along with. In the beginning You disrespected our ENTIRE family. Who gets married randomly with no type of blessings from my family and then surprises the family with "This is my Wife" You are not even a child.. your a character who doesn't know its place or role in this story called life yet. Your very narcissistic, inconsiderate, and just plain ignorant to do this to a family better yet a child. A woman knows a child is gonna grow up and have questions about his family. So your not gonna be woman enough to answer those questions to leave him guessing... or you will probably lie and tell him how horrible we are when we did absolutely nothing that can cause my brother and baby to be separated from us for ever. We've been texting for close to a week and a half consistently and it gets better and better. We've been making plans to meet and I'm just so fucking nervous. I haven't been on a date in like 7 years. Yes it's important to be yourself and I will but I sometimes get in my head.
I'm just worried. What if he doesn't find me as attractive as my photos? or the same vibe we have doesn't translate in person? I have some issues with my self esteem. I've struggled for so long. Some days I feel sexy, beautiful and overall confident. And some days (which are the worst), I'm so hyper critical of my self. This isn't good enough, that isn't good enough. I'm working on it but situations like these cause me to overthink but I don't want it to ruin something that could be fun and exciting.
People tell me a lot I'm pretty or beautiful. Complete strangers will come up to me and compliment me or just openly stare (which I automatically think is for something negative and nothing good). But sometimes I just don't see it or feel it.
Perhaps I'm just scared of rejection? Especially because I play what if too often.
Any thoughts I what I should do or what might help me get over this?
No matter what I'm going through with it. Just wondering if anyone had any advice on how to go into this not so nervous.

We have been using Advion Ant Gel for about 12 days. The swarms were worst in the beginning, and they sometimes get better and feel like they're improving, but other times it feels like it's making no difference. The pictures are from right now (12th day of putting out gel), the worst I've seen in a couple days.
Not sure if it's related to the weather, or the fact that we used the shower today (this is in a shower, and we did try to cover up the holes during the shower as best as we could. We also did not use the shower the entire time putting out gels), or if it's just random/no change at all. Truly at my wits' end.
Planning on picking up Advance 375a to put alongside the gel, but that's just a stab in the dark. Any tips? Thanks so much in advance.
