New Non-Load-Bearing Gasket Structure design
Springs play a crucial role in supporting the interior, ensuring uniform settling, and providing consistent localized tactile feedback. Silicon rubbers are strategically placed around the plate to prevent impacts on both the top and bottom case. The limited spring structure achieves a balance between stability and freedom within the interior, offering a newfound level of comfort beyond your expectations.
Non-Load-Bearing Gasket Structure
NEW Spliced Plate
Freya features an inventive detachable structure plate, allowing for personalized combinations in mods and alpha key areas. The inner and outer frames of the plate come in various materials and are entirely customizable to suit your preferences.
New Spliced Plate
Left Slider
Left Slider supports volume control, and it is modular. It can also be 5 keys.

“Wings” Side Profile
Beautiful Wings with Double Anodizing Chamfer
Two Editions: Freya Ultra & Freya
FreyaUltra - including the interchangeable module on the left
Freya - without the interchangeable module on the left
Bottom Case Design
Continuing the design concept from before, we've incorporated a PVD mirror backplate for the bottom of the board. Centered on the backplate is a portrait of the goddess Freya, enhancing the overall refinement and collectibility of the keyboard. Additionally, we've embraced a screwless design, utilizing 4 screws instead of lengthy footpads for a cleaner bottom appearance.
Collab Edition
Freya x Jaekeyed
Freya x Valhalla
We are working with Jaekeyed and SxM design for two collaboration editions Freya. Will be in limited quantities.

2023.09.04 16:08 PositiveAd7974 Day Number 1 Of Doing A Short and Rough Review Of Every Am/Fm/Sw/Lw Equiped Device I Own. Today's Device The GPX A 303 Am/FM /TV Band Radio.
| Prerequisites. I'm not even close to a proper reviewer so any feedback or criticism would be appreciated in improving my review abilities. The Exterior This device is made from decent but cheap black plastic that is not horrible on the hands but will still flex when some pressure is applied. As you can see from the first image a large amount of the space in this device is taken up by the speaker. It is surrounded by a rounded metal grate that surprisingly is not damaged in any way. To the right of this we see the tuning indicator this gives us the am frequency band as well as the fm,Vhf lower and Vhf Tv band frequency band. It lists the tv channels in acending order from bottom to top. Then moving more to the right we find two switches as well as a botton and a light bulb. The upper switch switches between the am frequency band the shared FM and VL Frequency Band And The Upper Vhf Frequency Band Represented By Tv2 WB this means Television 2 Wide Band. Under this we find a switch with two positions and this is the tone control and this can switch between the high tone and low tone setting. Under this to the left we find the simple old power botten and then to the right of this we find the signal strength indicator. As you tune into a really strong signal on any frequency band this light will light up to help you find where the signal is strongest. This is seen in the second image. Towards the right hand side as we can see in the third image we find both the tuning knob as well as the volume knob. And then on the left as we see in the fourth picture is the headphone jack and the DC power input. While the device is completely Mono the headphone jack dose output in dual Mono for some added convenience. Moving to the back we find a grate on the back of the speaker to help let some sound out of the body. Next this we find the information sticker showing everything that you need to know about the tuner. It gives us its operating frequency as well as the manufacturing information and the type of battery's to use. As well as the battery container that takes its four penlight battery's. All this can be seen throughout the fifth and sixth images. In the seventh image we se the telescopic antenna on the top of the device. The Sound As you can most likely see in the photos the speaker in this device is quite large for its size and this translates to pretty decent sound quality. The sound is nice and clear and can get pretty loud without an incredible amount of distortion. The sound is quite pleasant to listen to but my only complaint with the sound is the lack of base. It is a bit thin sounding but that's to be expected. This can be helped greatly with the tome control. I usually put the tone control on low when listening to am programs and high on fm and tv programs and I've never had any issues. The speaker is leagues better than any cheap Transistor radio from the 70s and is even better sounding than most phone speakers and TV speakers. Am Sound test. https://imgur.com/gallery/mfNt9s5 Fm Sound test https://imgur.com/gallery/E4HPqiy Tv sound test. The sound from this clip comes from the radio itself. https://imgur.com/gallery/bf2tPKo The sensitivity The device is pretty sensitive on am picking up everything I would expect of it in this area. Including voice of america on 909khz from a couple hundred kilometers away. Voa sound test. https://imgur.com/gallery/VefGhxF On Fm it can be tough to tune in because the fm frequencys only take up the upper quarter of the tuning dial so tuning into fm stations can be tricky and do require some patience to tune into. The tv tuner is perfectly sensitive and can tune into any tv channel pretty well when outside. This changes when inside because after entering any structure signal dissappear completely. Final thoughts In total I'm pretty happy with this radio. It was cheap when I got it and it was made to be cheap but I'm pretty satisfied with both its looks and pretty passable sound quality but sadlyits mono only. I'll definitely be listening to many more broadcasts through this little box of cheap musical magic. I give it a 6.5/10 Above average sound and includes a tv tuner what more could I ask for. submitted by PositiveAd7974 to radio [link] [comments] |

2023.02.11 14:14 KinderSpirit Do You Actually Want Help? - Part 2
There are many people here willing, able and really wanting to help. They have gone through some of it. They know how frustrating it can be to go it alone and blind. But no one can help without any information or clue what you are talking about. If you actually want help, you need to do some of the work also. If you answer some some basic questions, and post images, it will help to get you printing again.
Doing a search of past posts may help you find the answer sooner than waiting for a response to your post. There is a
WIKI available that may help you faster.
All3DP,
MatterHackers,
3DSourced,
Prusa Research, and
RepRap have guides available that may help also. You may find the answer or the correct words to describe your issue.
Be kind to those that are trying to help
you.
Post pictures showing the problem. Clean the lens first, you filthy animal. Photograph it on the bed as printed. Photograph other angles to highlight the issue, especially the bottom. Photograph as close as possible. Use as much light as possible. Rotate the image for proper viewing. Screenshots of slicer previews may help. A picture of a screen is not as clear as a screenshot.
Basic Questions: What printer are you using? What material are you using? What nozzle temperatures are you using? What bed temperatures are you using? What problem do you want help with? What do you feel is causing the issue? When did the problem start? Has it ever worked correctly? What have you done to try to fix the issue? Have you tried other materials?
Other questions that may help with diagnosing the problem...
Hardware related: Did you make any hardware changes recently? What firmware is installed? What is the hotend configuration? What is the extruder? Direct drive or Bowden tube? Is it plugged in? Is the power supply set to the correct voltage? Are all the connections tight? Is it making any sounds that you didn't notice before? Have you trammed (leveled) the bed?
Software related: Did you make any software changes recently? What slicer program are you using? Have you dried the material? What fan speeds are you using? What nozzle diameter are your using? What layer height are you using?
Print Related: Have you set your Z-offset? What orientation is the model printed? How many walls? How many top and bottom layers? What top and bottom fill pattern? What infill and percentage are your using? Are you using supports? What are your support settings?
What is the build plate - Glass, Glass/PEI, Steel/PEI, Steel/PEX, G10, PC, other? Have you cleaned or refurbished the bed recently? How do you prepare the bed to print? Are you using any additives or release agents on the bed?
What are your printing speeds? What is your retraction speeds? What is your retraction length?
Is the model clean and without errors? Did you create the model yourself?
What are your acceleration settings? What are your jerk settings?
A link to the model so others can work with it may help.
Does anyone have any questions that should be added to this list? Or better ways to phrase the questions? Better formatting? I know this list is too long, yet still incomplete. It needs to be concise enough so posters don't just blow it off.
Big Thanks! to those that added questions and thoughts in
Part 1. I am once again asking for your contributions to this project.

2022.03.03 05:43 JaySeaTee Keychron Q2 Modded -- First Build
| TLDR: Build details/video at the bottom PREFACE: I'm one of those guys that really appreciates having nice things. So, when I came across some "extra money" that my wife allowed me to spend in lieu of a Christmas gift, I started looking around for ideas. Long story short (since you likely won't care about the other options I was exploring), I landed on the decision to build a custom mechanical keyboard thanks to the influence of my brother in law. My brother-in-law currently uses a customized/modded Drop ALT. I believe he changed out the switches, lubed them, and got new key caps. All that said, I went over to his house and got to type on it for the very first time. Compared to the keyboard I had at the time (Corsair K68 RGB), it was a COMPLETELY different typing experience. Super satisfying, and addicting doesn't even begin to describe it. Thus, begins my immersion and intrigue in the world of mechanical keyboards. The OLD: Like I mentioned above, my "old" keyboard (that I've been using for around 4 years) has been the good ol' Corsair K68 RGB. I bought it when I first built my PC because it was a great deal and it had all the pretty lights that you could ever want. I hardly did any research beyond, "Sounds like 'mechanical keyboards' are the thing to get for gaming and such. I'll look for one of those." I think I briefly looked up some of the popular switches at the time, but really didn't know much about them. Heard that Cherry MX Reds were pretty common, and the K68 has them, so... bingo. It's absolutely been a great board, but I figured it's time for an upgrade to something... new. The NEW: Oh baby.... This has been a wild ride just like any other venture into researching a side of the technical world you know nothing about. Some of you guys REALLY like your keyboards lol Let's not get side-tracked... My primary inspiration (aforementioned in the Preface) was my brother-in-law and his custom Drop ALT keyboard. My gut was like, "Just buy one of those, it'll be much better than what you have now, and you'll totally be satisfied", but my brother-in-law was like, "well, maybe you should do some more research first. The keyboard community typically looks at the Drop ALT and says that you should be able to get a much better board if you build it yourself for the same money. Over time, we went back and forth looking at options and comparing them to the budget. I knew I wanted something around the 65% - 70% size, and I wanted it to sound "Thoccy" as the cool keyboard kids say. We ended up landing on what seems to be one of the best combinations I could ask for.... The BUILD: Now to get down to the nitty gritty... and we're going to try and lay this information out in the most efficient way possible. Below, you will find a full parts list, and links to each item where I purchased it as well as the price at the time they were purchased (which was about 2 weeks before this was posted)... Parts List: - Keychron Q2 - Barebone - Carbon Black $149 + $30 shipping
- AKKO Silent - Cherry Profile - Doubleshot PBT Keycaps $54.99
- Gateron Ink Black v2 - 70pcs $59.99
The MODS: Now, that's all you have to order to have a perfectly functioning keyboard; but I wanted more. I knew, from the research I did and talking with my brother-in-law that, at a minimum, I wanted to lube my switches. The Gateron Ink Black v2s sound really good without it, but I wanted to lower the overall tone of the "Thocc" and have a sound that was going to be both subtle and satisfying. The lube kit I bought was a FANTASTIC deal and worked really well for me. I wouldn't recommend anything more than this for someone that isn't building keyboards/lubing switches all the time: The second thing I wanted to do was take out a little bit of the metallic "pinging" noise due to the aluminum case. I wanted to do something similar to what Keybored did in his video about the Q2 (watch HERE), but I didn't get any of the Killmat he shows in the video, so... I improvised. I saw elsewhere that you could get a similar 'dampening' effect by using a layer or two of, you guessed it: paper towels. I ended up only using 1 layer of paper towel, cut to fit the notches inside the board (will post pictures in the comments if people want to see). In the end, I think it actually made a difference added on to the case foam that was already in there. PROGRESS: Below, you can find some photos of the build/modding process (can take/post more if requested in the comments). Keychron Q2 Packaging: Lubing Process: Assembly: FINAL PRODUCT: Now for the part that everyone looks for... The final product. I created a video, to the best of my ability, showing the sound differences between all three stages of this process: - The old keyboard: Corsair K68 RGB (for reference)
- Keychron Q2 - Unmodded
- and Keychron Q2 - modded
Descriptions of the mods involved (or lack thereof) in each clip is listed on the clip itself. It was hard to get as good quality of a sound recording as I would have liked. My AudioTechnica AT-2020 just isn't designed or tuned to capture small, quiet sounds like typing without getting a lot of background noise as well. I've also added a link below to the video on YouTube. YouTube Video Link: https://youtu.be/czdQZOSY5HM Regardless, please enjoy. 2019.03.04 15:59 wolfbysilverstream [spoiler] Some things that are worth pondering about as we wait for the next episode
SPOILERS BELOW THIS THAT APPLY IN SOME WAY OR ANOTHER TO EVERY EPISODE TO DAT. SO IF YOU AREN'T CURRENT THERE MIGHT BE SPOILERS BELOW THIS. .
.
.
.
Over the last couple of days I have been having conversations with
jen5225 and
KellyKeybored that have involved questions about Liz's date of birth, the time associated with other events, the fire and anomalies in the show and what they have meant over time.
KellyKeybored pointed out that
I know you've said that it's those errors and contradictions that have compelled theorists to seek out alternative explanations (like the impostor theory). Funny how that worked out, that Red really is an impostor. So I still feel that many of the contradictions were meant to be there (Requiem, Mato, Mr. Kaplan part one and two).
And of course I agree with that. It is also interesting to note that the clues Bokenkamp says were what they left for us to point to an impostor were always in the list of clues people used to point at the impostor theory, even several years ago, much as Kelly said in the part I quoted above.
In that vein, there are two anomalies floating around that remind me of "arrows of neon and blazing marquees on Main Street." (And a special kudos to whoever can tell me where that quote's from - my username is a clue).
The first one has to do with the death of Liz's father in the fire. In Season 1 Red tells Liz that her father died in the fire. And I've never really bought off on this metaphorical death stuff - there's no reason for it. But Liz says Tom told her that her father was alive. To which Red replied
Red: I’m telling you, with no uncertainty, your father is dead. He died in that fire.
Now we muck along into Season 2 and really strange things happen in the Luther Braxton episode. First Liz seems to remember her father being there, right after Orchard brings her out of the first throes
Liz: My father. My father was there!
But here's the strange thing that ensues. Liz seems to remember Red there as well, with the woman no less.
Liz: There were people with the woman, looking for it. The Fulcrum. You were one of them.
Which is strange if we are to believe that Red had surgery in 1991 to look like Reddington. That would imply he didn't look like Reddington back then, so who the heck is Liz recognizing, or mstaking Red for? Stick that in the anomalous question pile. But the writers meant this to stick, this wasn't a stray line because they went on to explore it just a little bit more
Liz: [ to Red ] You were there. You were there, weren’t you?
Red: Yes.
Liz: There were people with the woman, looking for it. The Fulcrum. You were one of them.
Red: It’s not that simple.
Liz: But that’s why you were there. That’s why you came into my life then. And that’s why you’re here now. Not because of me or who I am to you, whatever connection we might have, but because of some object. Some thing.
Red: Whatever you remember –
So Red does acknowledge he was there, with no caveats, no hedging, no usual Red pussyfooting around. A simple straight answer to a straight question
Liz: You were there. You were there, weren’t you?
Red: Yes.
The hedging starts once she attributes a reason to his being there. That's when the
"It's not that simple.....Whatever you remember" stuff starts. But then we have another weird thing in that scene, because right after Red's "Whatever you remember...." bit we get the following
Liz: What I remember is leaving my father dying on the floor of a burning house. There’s no way he could have survived that.
Red: Lizzy, the memories of a four-year-old are unreliable.
So we now have Red trying to dissuade Liz of the notion that her father couldn't have survived that fire.
So to summarize, at this stage Liz remember's Red being there and in what is an extremely rare instance, Red responds to a straight question with a straight answer. But then a few episodes later in The Longevity Initiative Red is wondering if he can use the alleged research to restore Liz's memory, unless he's talking about someone else, and done this, availed of Krilov's services more than once, and is talking about one of the other cases (which is using things not in evidence) when he says:
Red: A young woman I know and care for had a distant memory quite literally taken away from her when she was a little girl– erased.
Red:...... If you’ve been able to prove that brain cells can regenerate, with time, would your breakthrough relate in any way to the restoration of this young woman’s memory?
So now Red's looking to have her memory restored, yet even after this he won't tell her who her father really is. I know at this stage a number of people reading this are going to jump up and argue that Red never says this is about Liz so it could be any girl - to all of those folks - Please, give me a break.
Moving along, a few episodes later Liz remembers shooting and killing her father and Red goes into full sin-eater mode. And stays there for the better part of two seasons until we reach Bogdan Krilov. In fact even saying that Katarina committed suicide because she couldn't stand the fact that the man she loved was killed by the child she adored.
And so in Bogdan Krilov, we have the following conversation between Red and Liz at the record store (with my commentary sprinkled in)
Red: Dr Bogdan Ivanovich Krilov. One of the few people who have mastered the science of memory manipulation.
Red says Krilov can manipulate memories, which of course we, the audience, have seen him do in a prior scene. Liz isn't so sure
Liz: Science or science fiction?
That question and calling it science fiction is a definite expression of doubt about the whole memory manipulation stuff.
Red: You of all people should know the answer to that.
Red says Liz should know the answer to the that question, the one she just posed (again those of you who feel tempted to say this is Red saying Liz should know the answer to some other question we haven't seen him ask, please curb you enthusiasm 😁). But if there is any doubt about what they are talking about, it's overcome by the writers making Liz actually draw the difference.
Liz: I understand suppressing memories, helping someone to mute out a traumatic experience, but manipulating them?
So Liz says she understands the suppression bit, and she should since we have been shown that she was subject to that. She again raises doubts about memory manipulation, which is when Red drops the MOAB
Red: The memory of an accident, a tragedy, a fire in which a 4-year-old girl killed her father.
WTF? That's his example of a memory manipulation? And so the anomalies in this set of incidents/scenes are:
- Liz remembers Red being at the fire, and he agrees. If he had his identity changing surgery after the fire what are they talking about? Is it just that she remembers the name Reddington being used? But she also remembers him coming with the woman looking for the Fulcrum.
- Liz remembers her father in a position from which she didn't think he could make it out alive. Red tries to dispel that notion. And in fact wants her memory restored.
- Later Liz remembers shooting and killing her father, which Red seems to go along with for almost 2 years at which stage he seems to imply that was a memory manipulation.
This is all twisted up. It could just be sloppy writing, which this show has its fair share of, or it could be something else. It just seems anomalous to me. Something doesn't add up. Just as it doesn't in Liz's age at the time of the fire and, something a lot of people have commented on. But timelines are all fubar on this show, so I don't let that bother me. What does become a question though is Katarina's actual fate. Another set of anomalies presents itself there.
- Red claims Katarina committed suicide, and not some metaphorical or proverbial suicide, but a real one - and that becomes clear in The Caretaker.
- Velov claims Katarina was live and well when he was chasing her and tracked her to a hotel in Prague, where he found a picture of Liz as a child. This claim of course is refuted by Red who claims Velov lied because Katarina committed suicide in 1990.
Red: Velov is the one who lied to you, Lizzy, not me. Katarina Rostova committed suicide in 1990.
There's no Redspeak there, no hidden meaning. There are no metaphorical deaths that can lead to the conclusion that Velov lied, other than a simple, indisputable fact that Katarina was dead in 1990. None of that ,
"Katarina was dead to me." or
"Katarina was dead to herself because she took on a different identity" nonsense can be used to justify that statement. It's either Red lying to Liz (which should be an anomaly to everyone who believes Red doesn't lie to Liz) or it's anomalous in some other way. If you want to add in dates, then all the stuff about the submarine and the plot with Fitch goes to further add to that anomaly.
Which says to me that two fundamental aspects of the story, that Liz killed her father and her mother committed suicide are either potentially up for grabs or the writers messed this stuff up really badly over time - take your choice.
ETA:: I believe it's the latter.

2019.02.19 19:49 Mona_Moe Need help with a specific way of cartomancy.
So my mum showed my a way to cartomancy with poker cards.
It's pretty simple. You always take one from top of your deck and one from the botten. If you have two with the same number or to kings etc you take those out and lay it next to you. You do this 3 times with the whole deck.
When you're done you take the cards you sortet out in front of you.
Then you take a deck and pick another card for each pair in front of you.
Then you start reading just the numbers or pictures.
So my question is does anyone else heard of this way and can tell me more about the meaning of the numbers?
My mother told me some but not all. For e.g. as far as I know 5 is for sex. 6 means something bad is about to happen, or is going to end.
